Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to now streaming with Jordan Welcome boys. I always
forget how big this place is.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Go pick a bedroom, just not the one that smells
like Nibia and disapproval, because that's my mother's.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
It's the new sitcom on Hulu called mid Century Modern.
Strangely enough, this sitcom comes with a laugh track or
quote unquote filmed in front of a live audience. The premise,
three gay men portrayed by Nathan Lane, Matt Boehmer, and
Nathan Lee Graham, all of them best friends, have taken
up residence in Nathan Lane's mother's house in Palm Springs.
The mother character, whose name is Bunny, was played by
the legendary star Linda Lavin, who had her own hit

(00:34):
series Alice. Sadly, Linda passed away during production. If mid
Century Modern reminds you of say, The Golden Girls or
Will and Grace, it's probably meant to. Some of the
comedy seems forced, but it's always a delight to watch
the talented Nathan Lane do his thing in a modern
sitcom with a rather traditional seventies and eighties format. Mid
Century Modern on Hulu and that's now streaming with Jordan
