Apple TV unveils a sci fi series that's a lot
of fun, especially for fans of the book series. It's
called murder Bot, basically a sci fi futuristic story involving
a security robot who's had it with taking orders, has
overridden his programming, and is no longer under the command
of humans. This is not Asimov's Eye Robot. It's a
lot more droll and satirical, and the series star Alexander Scarsguard,

who still called a security unit, develops quite the personality
with a pension for watching soap operas and pointing out
the absurdity of the humans around him. He's tasked with
protecting a group of scientists on a planet, but his
real obligation is to make sure that his new found
freedom and free thinking isn't discovered by the people he's
supposed to serve. But makes the show really work is
the voiceover narration of Scarsguard as murder Bot what he's
