Fire is an organism. Whenever Dennis Lahane writes up a
new TV series, you can certainly count on it being fascinating.
Latest is called Smoke on Apple TV, and it has
to do with fire, particularly arson, and the impact that
traumatic fire experiences have on people, twisting and turning their

psyches in a most devilish way. Tarren Edgerton stars as
a lead arson investigator. Frustrated for many reasons, professional and personal,
he's not been able to nail the city's deadliest arsenist.
His marriage is crumbling, and his hopes to become a
famous novelist are dim. Teaming up with him is a
tough cop played by Jerney Smolette, and the two of
them joined together to hunt for not one, but two arsonists.

of the second one things take a crazy but predictable
turn when it comes to the Arson suspects. Smoke will
