I would not bet on that guy. A clip from
the Apple TV show Stick being compared by just about
every critic to Ted Lasso. It's a combination sports story
about golf and the chance for a washed up champion
to resurrect himself. The star is Owen Wilson, playing a

washed up golf pro named Pryce Cahill who blew a
big time by losing his cool and melting down during
a tournament on TV. He's also divorced and hanging out
with one of his only friends, the crotchety Mark Maron,
who plays Mitzi, his longtime caddie. But then Price discovers
a young man named Santi who definitely has the makings
of a golf phenom, and Price, the former champion, sees

an opportunity to take this kid to the top, and
who knows, maybe, just maybe he can regain some of
the fame and respect that he lost. The show is
charmingly funny, with many a heartfelt moment, and Owen Wilson
in this role is at the top of his game,
