remember sometimes hearing laughter, sometimes hearing raised voices, never knowing
if that was real, or then rehearsing something.

Actor writer director Ben Stiller has produced a beautifully funny,
sweet and sentimental documentary entitled Stiller and Mara Nothing Is Lost.
Ben's parents were hard working actor comedians who became popular
in the nineteen sixties and seventies on The Ed Sullivan Show.
The documentary features classic bits and sketches, but it's really
a personal story, a family story of Ben and his

sister Amy cleaning out their mom and dad's New York
apartment a few years after Jerry Stiller died in twenty twenty.
It's an honest account of the pressures of show business,
how his parents, although loving, were often on the road,
and the told that it took a story of two
incredible actors. It's very touching and at times very funny.
