Hello and welcome. This is now streaming with Jordan, and
this one comes with a warning. Unless you're a glutton
for punishment, you might want to avoid what most of
us considered the worst film of the year. Now on Amazon.

But this one is abysmal. When you think back to
the one in the fifties with Gene Barry, and even

the one with Tom Cruise directed by Spielberg, you pine
for those good old days. An amazing zero percent on
Rotten Tomatoes. The film was produced during the COVID epidemic,
so everything is presented entirely over screens, with characters facetiming
and zooming reflecting on the Great Invasion. The star is
ice Cube, totally miscast as a homeland security expert stuck

doing his business in an impenetrable bunker with lots of
screens at his disposal. But that's about it. It's bland,
it's boring sci fi fans, you'd be much better off
listening to War of the Worlds, the broadcast that scared
