Today is the last day of intense heat and humidity before some welcome relief arrives tomorrow. Expect heat index values to soar to around 100 again in parts of central and southern New England. Another round of thunder will develop during the early to mid afternoon and slide east through the evening; some storms could become severe so keep an eye to the western sky later on today. Ofcourse we’ll keep you posted on that threat and pop-up live if necessary.
