Speaker 1 (00:01):
The show, Get up the show. Don't believed, come to
get up and get down.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Take over your body.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Dance to that beat.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
All right, James, you requested a new song, and you
get a new song. That's how it works around here, sir.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I like that. That sounds pretty good.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, you like it. You like the funky beat, the funky,
the funky tone.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, I like it. This sounds really good. I like it.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
We're good, good, good good. I have an alternative that
I made. No I was gonna play you first, but
I decided not to. I didn't. I didn't really make it,
make it. I don't know if you've known. I'm sorry.
I don't know if you've heard about this guy on YouTube,
but there's there's a guy with a channel that that
just like sings people's names over and over and over again. Yeah,
it makes songs out of people's names. And I made
(01:05):
a mix, so I'll play that for you real quick,
just to show you what it sounds like. And then
Richard kind of ruined it for me when I showed
it to him, So I'll play it for you right now.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Jacob Jacob, Jacob James James James James Jacob Jacob, Jacob, Jacob, James, James,
j James, James, James, James, James, James, Jacob, Jake, Jacob, Jacob, Jacob, Jacob, James, James, James,
(01:54):
jam James j Jas.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
All right, so that's it.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Is that all just one song?
Speaker 1 (02:04):
No, it's it's a it's a mix of two. It's
a mix of the guy singing Jacob and the guy
singing James. It took me like thirty minutes.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I just kind of I would get hello annoyed if
I heard it. Everything. Yeah, I'm thank God for that.
Hell yeah, that sounds absolutely horrible.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
I thought it was fun. But Richard said, it sounds
like Joel. It's not Joel.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
It does sound like Yeah, I know.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
And then he yeah, he ruined it for me, because
now that's all I hear. I didn't notice that originally,
but that's that's all I hear.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
So Jesus Christ.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
But anyway, so we are here today to talk about
two trailers that came out recently, yep, very recently. And
so what do you what do you want to start with?
You want to start with iron Heart, You want to
start with Superman? You they'll get iron all right, So
what's going on with iron Heart? What did you What
did you think about iron Heart? Now that we've finally
seen a trailer, it comes out like what you une
twenty fourth?
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah, the trail looks okay. I mean, I look like
they just wanted to brey get it that the way
on the trailer call it the same day as Superman.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
That's what a lot of people seem to think. There's
a lot of there's a lot of buzz on why
they're not really trying to push the show as much.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
It was slost come out yesterday and it didn't, so
they decided to deley it today. It was just stupid.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Yeah, they dropped like some Ryan Coogler behind the scenes
kind of thing about it, right, like just talking about
Rear Williams and how excited he is about the show.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Oh son, I were trying to put him on top
of it is if it's his project, it's not his project.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
He's the executive producer.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Yeah, he is executive producers. So it was an und
try to capitalize off to him. Now he could have before.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Right, Maybe they maybe they went and grabbed him to
like record the thing or whatever they prayed probably did,
But I mean I for a not it does look
like a good It does look like a good trailer,
looks interesting. The suit looks more practical, which is nice,
and again off the back of Thunderbolts, which used more
practical effects. It's nice to see that instead of like
(04:00):
the gaudy CGI that we have now, where it's like
very clearly CGI. So it is cool to see that.
I don't really know much about the villain. I think
he's like the Hood or whatever. Yeah, Anthony Ramos.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
I don't know toso much about him. African Ramos is
playing the villain.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
I think he might be connected to Mephisto in some ways.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I think so too.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Someone thinks maybe Mephisto will show up in this movie
but also absolutely the show. But also that's that's just
been like the little bit that people have been joking
about online since like I think No Way Home was
like every or WandaVision ever since WandaVision, everyone's like, oh, Mephisto.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Well he has a better shout of showing up than
being a wand of Division. But that's true. But no,
he's not going to be so much of a low
budget show.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah, yeah, way too much, or if anything, he will
show up as like I don't know, an Easter Eggo
voice or something.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yeah voice are a human, human version of himself. Yeah,
so like you did a ghost Rider.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah, so we'll we'll see how that plays out. I'm
not for sure how I feel about like the story
plot or like I don't know, her getting with the
hood and then committing petty crimes the fun like building
the suit. I don't really know how I feel about that.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, it's the very by the numbers, the black girl
and black girl in a in a bad neighborhood trying
to get out of trying to get out of a
bad neighborhood to getting the good neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
See, I'm glad you said that. I'm glad you said
that because that's that's how I felt. Was like, hmm,
this seems a little a little stereotype or like you said,
by the numbers or just like a tip, like I
don't know, like you could have just had her building
the suit. I mean, clearly this is set after Wakanda Forever,
so she's got connections to Wakanda and Shuri. You could
have just had her building her own suit on her own,
(05:47):
like she's capable of doing it. She did it before.
That's how they found her in Wakanda Forever. She had
a suit or like the outline of one, like the
exoskeleton or whatever.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
It looks a little silly. Yeah, that part does look
a little silly. I don't. I don't like this storyline,
yeah from it. Yeah, I'm willing to give a shot.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Though, No, for sure, and especially because like all the
all the weirdness behind, like them trying to bury it
and not really like release it, which is just like,
you know, if you didn't have any faith in the project,
why you why did you even make it in the
first place? Why did you try to like build up
this character and Wakanda Forever. I mean, I know, like
over the years, like Disney's kind of like gone up
and down with the Marvel properties. But you could have
(06:26):
you could have just pulled the plug on this a
year or two ago during yeah, during production, Yeah exactly.
So it's like if you lost faith that much, like
you could have just yanked it and then introduced her
somewhere else or introduced her again somewhere else. You know,
you don't have to see an origin show, Yeah, we don't.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Have to see the origin Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
So I don't know. I'm gonna try to watch it
because it seems like I don't know, we should.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
See seems it seems interesting enough for me to watch it,
but I don't. I don't think it's gonna moving moving
to numbers or have any important to see the thing.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Well, I mean the Disney Plus shows, they really haven't.
Maybe I don't think they really moved too much of
the needle anyway. It's like even Daredevil Board again, I
think it did good, but I don't think it did
like Fantastic Numbers. You know, Agatha all Along surprise a
lot of people when they watch that, and I still
haven't watched it.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
I say, I haven't watched you, but it's just one
of my flavor.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah, exactly. It's just like I don't know. I don't
really I didn't. Really, I'm not really invested in Agatha
enough to like go watch her own TV series, especially
especially with her being the villain of her own series
of that the Wanda Vision, I'm like, I don't really
need to see more of this character unless you're bringing
back Wanda and you do a Scarlet which movie and
(07:48):
then you know you you bring back those characters than fine,
but I don't really need to watch the show.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
No, I'm good, No good, But yeah, I'll I'll check it.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Long ago, we're getting arrested with Jacob and James. So
Superman trailer came out the same day as the Ironheart trailer.
As you said in the last segment of like, I
don't know why Disney would do this, but they did,
(08:20):
and I just watched it before we reported today. I
assume you have to, yep, So tell me your thoughts.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Uh, well, let's get your thoughts first. I went first
on the last one.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
All right, I was all right, I liked I liked
the interview scene obviously, Yeah, I like that. Obviously. That's
the focal point of the movie, I suppose, is like,
it sets up what the movie is about, right.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
It says it definitely says the tone.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, it sets the tone. That's setting up what's about it.
It seems like a plot point is Superman went to
another country save some people, and now he's being persecuted
it and possibly arrested by the American government.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
You know.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
They they mentioned the president and I almost wonder if
Lex Luthor is the president in this version.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
No, I don't, I don't think he's the president. But
you do know, but you do know whether where that
war started, right, it's a fictional country, yes, and it
took it took place in the I don't know. We
saw Creature carandas oh that one. Yeah, it's just their
fictional country.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Oh okay, that explains why Frank Grillo is here.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Yep, that explains.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Well what a good continuation of that. Then that's that's cool.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Yep. So if you want to know why these by
other countries at war with this, you gotta watch Creazy
Cormandos because it started by well, I don't want to
spoil it, but the bride of Frankenstid is with the Kurtson.
She's she's the reason for the for the war.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Yeah, she's a catalyst.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
She's the catalyst. And that's as far as I'll say.
If anybody else want to watch the show, but very
good jokes. So that's how that's how the war started,
and that's why that's how Superman got involved in interesting.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
It's quite interesting. But but yeah, so apparently he's being persecuted
because he wasn't supposed to do that as an American citizen.
Technically he I mean, he is an American citizen, I
would I would assume, I mean, well, he's an.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
American citizen, but he's still some of availing, which he
really is. Vley.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Yeah, And it's like he's not a man, he's an it,
as he said in the trailer.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
And it's like you're taking upon yourself to do something
that you're not legally supposed to do, but at the
same time you're trying to save lives in battle.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
You also have the ability to do so m hm,
you know, I mean, if you have the power to
fly and save people, why confine it to the one
country you live in.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
But it's kind of like, all because you can don't
lean it, you.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Should right right, you know, there's there's legalities to it,
and it's it's almost like kind of like the Superhero
Registration Act from Civil War in a way where it's like, oh, yeah,
I mean, you shouldn't be willing and illy doing this,
but you're also able to, so who's gonna stop you?
Which you know kind of was Batman's crazy point in
(11:05):
the Snyder Verse, which obviously is unrelated to this, but that's,
you know, just the mirror of the two.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Well, James Gonna said he liked parts of the Snyder's universe,
and that's what you can kind of tell that he
kind of took some inspiration from it. Oh, for sure,
you could tell that he took inspiration from all versions
of Superman, like he took the versions of Snyder where
Lois already knows the secret, which I do like that.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Yeah, I hope it starts. I'm I'm assuming it's gonna
start off like that, which it would be nice.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
I think so.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
I think you will just give it, just start us
off for the world, you know, like Thunderbolts, Right, Thunderbolts
was done in such a way where you can walk
in figure out what's going on. Superman should be the
same way, right you walk in. Superman's already Superman dating
Lewis Lane. There you go, he's.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Gotch Let me ask you, did you like that? They
because he seems a little bit younger than Harry Cavill.
He looks a little a little bit, right, you liked it.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
I mean, yeah, I'm fine with that. I don't really
mind it. I think I think it also, like you know,
plays into the plot of the movie, right, or even
his reaction to the interview kind of going south. Right,
like assumingly he thought the interview was gonna be a
softball because like he's dating the reporter interviewing him, and
then she she really went at him with the hard
hitting questions and like you saw his reaction. Yeah, so yeah,
(12:25):
I don't I don't mind him being younger. And again
it plays into the overall plot. The thing I I
kind of caught from the trailer that I kind of
don't feel that great about is it looks like some
of the villains are again the the Kryptonians, do you
know what I mean? Like, maybe not Zod per Se,
but the other ones that showed up with him. I
(12:46):
don't know their names. You'd probably know better than like
just like his posse that shows up like an anytime
like Zod shows up. He's got like the woman and
he's got like the brute guy.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Oh well, the engineer. You know that's from the Authority. Okay,
so you know you got that from Authority with James
m supposed to do a movie for from that, from
the from that, So you got that. And then the
hammer that that guy in the big old suit. That's
I got either this ulscraman or either that because the
hammer of a part day of I don't know to
pronounce the name. I didn't pronounce the name right, but
(13:17):
that's that's from the country, that's from their war term country. Okay,
I'm putting two and two together, but I don't I
don't want to. I don't want to keep sparm it.
I'm kind of putting to it two together. On some
of this. I was like, Okay, I see what's going
on there.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, I mean, you know way more
than I do about the Superman Lords, so I assume
you do have these answers.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
So it's not like it's not like it's not like that,
it's not like that. Well, I think what we all
wanted to see was that he was fighting with that,
that there's some type of other story than just him
just doing stuff right, and it seems like there is.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Right, there's definitely like some plot points going on. I mean, again,
the justice societies here, so like they fit into it
somewhere or other. Yeah, I don't know, maybe they're trying
to stop Superman at some point.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Which which if we saw the Peacemaker trailer saw, Yeah,
they were also in there with Maxwell Lord. James Gunn's brother,
oh is.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
That who is that who he's playing in Peacemaker?
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Mm hm Maxwell Lord.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
All right, well, now let me ask you this the
Peacemaker trailer, like you said, we saw the green lantern
and then cockroll next to Maxwell, Maxwell Lord, do you
think they're actually going to be in the show or
is that just like for the trailer like the show?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah, yeah, they actually going to be in the show to.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
A greater capacity. Or is it going to be kind
of like a bit like what they did with the
Justice League from the first season.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Yeah, I think it's gonna be a bit.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
That would make sense to me.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
But uh, what else? What else did you like? Would
you like about the trailer for what we get to me?
Speaker 1 (14:47):
I mean it looked good. I mean everything look at
about it. I like the colors. Someone made the comment
was like, yeah, it's James Gun because it's colorful.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
It did it?
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Like the color? The color correction army is very good,
the the emotions are very good.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Was it everything that you expected to be or was
a little bit better or like, yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I think it was what I expected it to be.
It showed a little too much though, I think that's
the only thing. Yeah, I mean you know, you know,
typically like what a second trailer does, right, Like the
first trailer is like a little bit and then the
second trailer usually starts showing a little bit more and
either that sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes that's
that's a bad thing. I don't know where this falls yet,
because again it's just a bunch of like quick sequences.
(15:30):
But I almost I almost feel like it went on
a little bit too long. Like if it would have
just been the interview and like maybe some quick shots
of some other stuff, that would have been fine. But
I do think it went on a little bit longer
than it should have. What are your thoughts for me?
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Just like you would like the interview, the interview sets
its home because I think a lot of people going
there and thought the trailer was gonna thought the movie
was gonna be kind of goofy and silly mm hmm,
which I don't know why people think that's gonna Yeah, yeah,
I get that. But he does have a serious tone
to him, you know, and it definitely says the tone
man that that interviews tense. Oh yeah, that interview was tinse.
(16:09):
That's like, oh all right, I would inspect this.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
If the whole movie was an interview, I would not
be mad. Yeah, if you use that to frame the movie,
like if it if it all took place like or
if like half of it took place inside the interview.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Right, that's not a bad idea.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Wouldn't be a bad idea. No, it would be that
would work very well. Maybe not the whole movie, but like,
you know, a good like half to three quarters of
it and then you know, the end of it is
like the big punch up or whatever. He fights the
monster like Slith or whoever.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
I like. I like the chemistry too between him and
Rachel Bronsny.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Very good.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Yes, but you can already tell that's right off the bat.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Yeah, yeah, opening shot of the trailer was, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
It's just it's pretty much, you know, anything negative, I
would definitely tell you. But that's nothing negative. I could
tell you, man, it looks pretty good. I can't wait.
This is definitely one of my one of my most
anticipated movies.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
I can't wait to see what the Snyder verse people say.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
About I'm not watching. I'm not even paying tention to them.
Oh yeah, that's like I'm I'm choosing I'm choosing positive, Jacob,
I'm choosing positive. Like, I'm after we get done with
the podcast, I'm looking at a couple of few the
people that I like to react to these trailers and stuff.
Watch them because I know they're excited that they they're
(17:29):
really really excited, like rejects. I'm gonna watch them.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Well, I think they got a hold of this trailer
like yesterday, because I already I had already seen some
stuff popping up yesterday.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah. Yeah, Well but when they played like one of
those like small teasers though, those teaser for the trailer.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Stuff, I yeah, it's so stupid trailer for the trailer, Yeah,
just dropped.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
So yeah, I'm definitely gonna check that out. I'm definitely
check them out, but I'm not paying tention to them.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Good good on you. It's so funny though, because like
the Snyder people, like there's there's definitely like a time
when you felt bad for Snyder and then they gave
him Then they gave him the Justice League cut, right,
they gave him his four hour cut. We finally got
to see like, oh his vision of the movie, and
then it's like okay, well, time to move on, right,
(18:15):
Like they did Adjustice, they did him justice by letting
him You know, put his full movie out right, he
got he kind of get screwed over. They made they
made good whatever, moving on, and then the Snyder people
just couldn't let it go, like they're just calling for
the Colts. It was the cult of personality. Yeah, it's
(18:36):
become such a thing. And it's so funny because like
then every now and then David Ayer comes out and
he's like, my suicide Squad version, I still got that,
And it's like, David Air, I don't believe you have
a version of your own suicide one movie.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Did you see the poster the new post by the way, Yeah, yeah,
has crossed. He got his hands like folded.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
The poster it and it's still that like I don't
know what you call it, but it's like got that
weird like where the color is bleeding up. I guess, yeah,
it's got that look to it.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
So it's got he's got the guy's got the look
on his face, that stern, that look that you see
in the government office government, and it's like you go
to like the government of federal buildings like kind of
like Uncle Sam type look, yeah, like truth justice type. Look.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
So dig truth in the American way, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Yeah, that dig although that's not I don't think that's
his line for this. It's not it's not the American way,
it's not true. It's still truth for justice, but it's Uh,
I forgot. I've got what the new slogan is because
its supposed to be it's something that includes everybody. I see.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Was there a discourse about that? I feel like there was. No.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
I don't think so. I don't think so, but I
do like that though.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
We're good good, when's it come out July eleventh or.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Cool?
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Like what two weeks after Fantastic four or Fantastic four
is after this? That's okay. The Jurassic World, Jurassic World, Yeah,
Jurassic worlds before that. So that's gonna be it's gonna
be a weird month.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Yeah, that's not it's gonna be a that's gonna be
a pain.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
It's either gonna be like a very strong month or
it's gonna be kind of middling, because Jurassic World can
go either way.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah. I don't really have so much faith into it.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yeah, I mean the nine movies in right, what more
can you do? The animated series has done more for
Jurassic Park. In Jurassic world than the movies have lately.
I don't know if you've checked out the animated series
on Netflix. Very good, very good, uh yeah, very good
tie in shows almost honestly, that should just be the
next movie. Just cast those kids in real life or
(20:45):
whatever and continue that. We don't we don't need to
go back to the Islands.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
CSES. I look on Protest Watch. You see that robber
(21:25):
down and junk. You posted a picture of him wearing
like the the suit, not.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Suit suit, but him in his muscle suit.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yeah, yeah, cap he had like a mo cap face?
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Was his face mooll cap? That didn't look that hard?
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Well? Yeah, like the dots on his face.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
I didn't. I didn't even notice that.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
You're in good I saw, Yeah, he had a couple
of dots on his face. So I'm assuming that the
the mask c G. I yeah, the mask pot c G. I.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
That makes me think they're doing that Nannite thing again,
which is really annoying because again Thunderbolts didn't do that.
It's like, oh, I thought we were getting away from that.
But I really I just don't want to see his
face in this movie, Like I just want to forget
he's Robert Downey Jr. But I know that's like nigh impossible.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
And he got his hair cut too, he did.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
He's he's added like two or three hairstyles in the
in the timeframe of getting ready to film this thing,
or even beginning filming this thing.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Yeah, so I don't know, I don't.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Know, real curious to see how it comes out. Man,
the Doomsday. Doomsday is a very curious movie. It's it's
so funny, like seeing everybody's like theories and and them
trying to work out like what the movie's gonna be,
or like what characters are gonna like how the character
is gonna be implemented, And it just reminds me of
like before Infinity War came out. Everyone thought Infinity War
was gonna go a certain way or they had all
(22:46):
these theories and ideas, and then it was nothing like
what they thought. I think Endgame came close because someone
someone had predicted it was gonna be a time trouble thing.
But outside of that Infinity War people, everybody was kind
of like wrong about Infinity War.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
To some I will say, I couldn't tell you what's
going to happen with this movie.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Someone suggested Doom's gonna trick the Avengers into fighting the
X Men, which I don't buy that one, because that,
like that's a whole different story plot for another time
that they're probably inevitably gonna set up next after all
this with the Mute saga coming up, So I don't
really see them doing Avengers versus X Men inside the
(23:29):
Doctor Doom movie. That doesn't really doesn't really gel.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
You know.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
It's because that interview where Alan Cummings said he was
like punching Pedro Pascal on the head. But I think
that was just like an example of what he's reading.
I don't think that's actually from the script. I think
from the set. I think he was just using that
as like an example.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Yeah, most likely.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
You know, I'm not gonna read too far into that
and be like, oh, night Crawler and Mister Fantastic fight.
I mean in the trailer, it pops up in the
movie then I'll then I'll be like, oh, I was wrong.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
But yeah, I have no clue. I am more in
the dark than anybody else. Yeah, just like everybody else.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Well yeah, we all, we all kind of are. Again.
It's just because like everything's been so like up and
down with what they put out. No, it's not very cool.
It's not as cohesive as the first time around that was.
I was kind of thinking, I don't know, maybe maybe
after this they should just like dial it back and
just like focus on like the Young Avengers the next
(24:31):
a few sets of movies. Like it sounds bad because
I know we haven't had Sam Wilson Captain America for
very I mean, we've had him for a while, but
it doesn't feel like it right because like he's he's
been around, but we've only just now gotten his Captain
America movie at the end of like this saga. But
I kind of just feel like, put put them on
(24:52):
the back burner. Let's get a Kate Bishop movie, Let's
get a whose Ironheart put her back into a movie,
Miss Marvel, like set up the young Young Avengers, have
them be the core team, and then have Sam Wilson
and like the older people who are still around just
be like mentor characters inside of these films. But I mean,
(25:13):
they're obviously probably not gonna do that. I'm sure there's
another Captain American movie down the line at some point,
so it's hard to say.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Man, I'm I'm listening to what you said, but zach At, yeah,
text me because he just like the Superman trail. He said,
I feel like this marketing has been really strange for
Superman to have what they show. Uh, he likes the trailer,
but it's still doesn't get the whole thing when Superman
is getting beat up at all the team and then
(25:41):
then kind of seems the press. But that's just hopefully
the film. I guess. I guess I like the trailer.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Yeah, I don't think I necessarily agree with them either
on that point. I think, man, I think the movie
looks fine. I don't think the marketing has been too weird.
It's honestly, it's been pretty cohesive.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Yes, when the movie comes out July, like you can't
just start giving out everything you got Comic Conic. This
wasn't in before before this movie comes out.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Yeah, it should be in like June sometime.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Yeah, so I mean, I mean they study trickling out stuff.
I saw they got saw some watches and uh some
milk baone milk bones like dogs and stuff like that
Cryptomo that I saw. Yeah, I saw Derrick Queen. Dery
Queen got himself known out for Superman. Like, the market
has been fine. I don't really know what you really want,
(26:36):
but what else.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
It hasn't been. It hasn't been like other trailers where
they show everything in the movie. Yeah, And I think
that's that's what's weird, right, is because we haven't seen
that in a while, or we have no, no, we
haven't seen that in a while. Like even Centers, the
first teaser was great, but then they gave you the
whole plot in the second, the whole second trailer. So yeah,
(26:59):
it's we haven't seen that kind of stuff in a while.
Even Captain America. Captain America give away that Red Hulk
was in the film. So to see something that's a
little bit more secretive is is foreign to us?
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Now? Yeah, because this is so skilled back. Everything you
know is so skilled back. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Now you brought up Zach and it reminded me. He
did send us an email, I think last week about
film slates, like you know when when Marvel gets up
there and they're like, here's the next fifteen movies we
have planned, and DC goes, here's the next ten movies
we have planned, and then they only really come out
with two of those. So his his question was should
(27:38):
studios still be doing this or should they just not
not do the film slates anymore? Like oh, yeah, I
mean yeah, I don't think they should either. As Marble
used to be really great about being like, here's the
next like ten films we have and then maybe one
doesn't make the cut, right. DC was really bad where
they're like, here's the next ten movies we have planned,
and then two of those come out out. Yeah, two
(28:01):
of those will come out, and then the Flash gets
pushed back ten years. Every year was like the Flash
was coming, guys, we promised this time too.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Star Wars is doing it. Honestly it. Star Wars surprises
me because I thought Star Wars was gonna like kind
of slow down on content, but it seems like they're
revving it up.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Yeah, they trying to bring doing movies.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Now, Yeah, they're going they're they're going back to movies.
But I'm just like, man, I thought Star Wars was
going to slow down a little bit, just like take
a break Star Wars, like go away for a little
bit and then then come back, come back, come back
with another movie set somewhere else in the universe for once.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
But but yeah, we've been sit there, We've been sit
that they've been stopped doing slates and stuff.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Or you know, take the James Gun approach, where it's like, look,
if we got the script ready, we're making the movie.
If the script's not ready and we don't have director attached,
we're not. We're not saying it's happening right there now.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
I will say, James, going to change your slate a
little bit because you know we had a slot sloge.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
Uh yeah, that was on there for a minute.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah, but they said it's not really canceled, it's just
it's being pushed back right right now.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Right, So I mean again, it's because like maybe the
script's probably not ready.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Or maybe the actors not not ready yet. Yeah, because
I'm Colin Farrenell.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Yeah, it was, which is weird because he's already the penguin.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
I kind of feel like the dual roles thing is
is also a lot on actors.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
It is, so who knows what's going with that. So
but other than that, the clay Face movie is about
to be made. That it's gonna be in production I
think in another couple of weeks.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
Yeah, the clay Face movie is gonna be interesting.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
The Supergirls are wrapped up, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
It is, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
Yeah, I forgot about Supergirl, Green Lanterns, the Lantern Show.
That's that's about to wrap up too. He's already wrapped,
if I'm not mistaken.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Yeah, because it's gonna be like, what eight episodes or
something something short.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
So that they're right on schedule too. So yeah, things
go right.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
There's things in the fire. Yeah, there there's arons in
the fire. There's not showcasing it as much as you
know they normally would or or they used to. Yeah,
because again, you never know what's gonna happen, right, especially
now with foreign films being extra tearaff or whatever, or
if you film somewhere you pay more. I don't know,
(30:15):
So that's gonna affect productions pretty soon. So we'll see
what happens with that. So yeah, it's good that they're
playing it close to the chest and they're only really
being like, this movie's for sure happening, we're already filming,
or you know, we're already wrapped, Like it's already it's
already a done deal. You're listening to on the Go
(30:40):
with Jacob and James. It's not a podcast.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Oh yeah, did you see the Spider Nowhere. I did.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
I did. I really liked it. It was it looks good.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
I liked it until I found out that they put
it in the color too as well.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
Oh did they because I was really sticking the black
and white.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
What they did it for the people that don't want
to see it in black white was I think stupid.
It's just such a cop out.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Yeah, man, just watch, just watch what it is.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
It's just a cop out. Well, you know, you're trying
to please everybody.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Yeah, but now I like the black and white style.
I think. I think the black and white also just
really helps the Nowhere part of it. Also, I don't know,
just reinforces Spider Nowhere in general as a character.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Yeah, it was black and white. Yeah, it was a
black and white character.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Well you know, you know what it is. It's black
and white, but they put it in that blended color
where it's like that sense city. Yeah, black and white,
which I don't like.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yeah, and hopefully it looks a little bit better because
it's been a few years since those movies. Hopefully it's
been improved on. I not entirely. I found them weird,
Like I don't know when I watched them, when I
was younger, so I didn't really fully understand like the
Sin City concept, you know what I mean, Yeah, where
(32:08):
it's like, I don't know, there's certain movies where you
do have to be a certain age to get what's
going on. That's kind of sensity for me. I think, Yeah,
it's definitely not in like my thought process whenever I
think about comic book movies or it. You know, hey,
you know what happens what I haven't seen in a while.
Sin City.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
I don't think they did either in box office last
time my sick. I don't think.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
No, I think the second one did really bad.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Yeah, yeah, so it is what it is.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
But no, Yeah, Spider Nowhere, it looks really cool. It
is curious to think that maybe this is the same
Spider Nowhere from the Spider Verse because it's Nick Cage.
They brought them back to be Spider Nowhere. So I'm
curious if it's supposed to be that or if they're
just doing like their own thing with this.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
So it's like a multiverse or something.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
I don't know. I don't know. It's it's they're partnered
with Amazon and MGM plus, so not Sony. I mean,
I know Sony is like behind it to some capacity,
obviously because they have the rights of the character. But
you know, it's it's getting released on Amazon or whatnot,
So I don't know where this fall in line.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Yeah, this is gonna go to MGM plus. It did
the next day on Amazon, Yeah, which I think is
stupid because who's no pay for MGM.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
There's already enough streaming services out there to where it's like, oh,
another one, no thanks.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
I just wait the next day for Amazon.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
Well, especially with like streaming services like cracking down on
the password sharing and whatnot.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
That. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
No, I didn't even know there was an MGM plus.
Hold on it, look like at MGM plus and see what.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
What's on there? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (33:49):
One though, what do you have to offer? Gum Gladiator too?
Gladiator two is on mg M plus. The bee Keeper,
Blink twice, the Transformers one, Sonic three, they did. They
got some newer things, I'll give them that I was expecting,
like a bunch of old stuff too, It's completely honest.
(34:15):
Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol Turtles, like the newer one, yeah,
the newest one.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Yeah, the Maze Runner when that came out, Creed two, Rango,
there's some older ones, there's some newer What about TV?
What do you got for TV? They just have live TV.
It looks like because there's only a live TV option
like cartsoons. Let me go back to movies. I mean,
(34:51):
they have animated stuff on the movies, but live TV
so far, live TV has right now, if you have
MGM plus right now, James, you could be watching Valkyrie
and then after and then after Valkyrie or No, there's
MGM plus and there's MGM plus Hits. There's MGM plus Marquee.
I guess these are channels, right, Okay, So Bill and
(35:12):
Ted's Bogus Journey is on MGM Marquee, and then MGM
plus Drive In is airing The Duchess. Yeah, so I
don't know about a live TV component. I'm assuming Spider
Nowhere is gonna fall under that live TV section. Yeah,
(35:33):
which is also really weird because then it's like, well,
now I got to catch a certain time and we've
we've gone way past doing that in society.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
No, good man, I want no parts MGM plus. I
was just plaiting the next day with Amazon.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
Yeah, man, I mean I think I can. I think
I can wait an extra day for Spider Nowhere.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Yeah, hopefully, I hope so too.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
I hope it's good. I you know, I hope I
hope it. I hope it does good for Sony.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
I saw somebody in the back that was ball hitded.
I wanted to just the equivalents of Kingpin.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
It could be, uh, I know, there's like a vulture,
Like so in the Spider Nowhere Lore, the vulture is
a cannibal who eats Uncle Ben's cool. Yeah, so it
maybe maybe that's the vulture in this in this world,
that's what I think, either either Vulture or Kingpin.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
Is that the main villain.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
I think it's one of them. I know, obviously, like
the Goblins also a part of it. I think, yeah, yeah,
and Hammerhead and a few other a few other villains.
I mean, it's it's just Spider Man, but like no
wear style. Right, So it's like if very if everybody
was if all his villains were fifties gangsters, it is
essentially what it would would be.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
So what's it? He has powers?
Speaker 1 (36:50):
So yeah, he has a web powers, but he also
uses a gun.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
What we use the gun for?
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I don't know, gangsters?
Speaker 2 (36:59):
So this is so we say that is like does
he get his powers the same way.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Uh let me let me look it up for you.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
I'm sorry they asked all these questions a lot. Yeah,
I don't know anything about this chart.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
Let me see ability, all right. In nineteen thirty nine,
a month after Oh wait, no, this is okay, in
the incarnation of Spider Man from Earth nine zero two
one four, has the same basic powers as his classic counterpart,
enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, resiliency and agility proportionate to that
of a spider, the ability to have his body cling
(37:37):
to sheer walls and other solid surfaces, and a sixth
sense which warms them of incoming danger, also known as
the Spider Sense. While the mainstream Spider Man uses mechanical
web shooters, Spider Man Nowhere has the power to shoot
organic webbing from his wrists. So we're going back to
Sam Raimi times and his original In his original two
mini series Spider Spider Yeah, Spider Man Nowhere does not
(38:00):
create weblins, His dark webbing always manifested as a spray
or net after his resurretion. His web control is fine
enough that he that he regularly creates weblines to swing
on and web based projectiles. The stunt opponents through his
association with club owner Flicia Hardy, his vigilante activities, his
(38:22):
associates at the Daily Bugle, and his occupation as a
private investigator. He has a network of contacts throughout the
city and several informants in the gangs. So there you go.
He's a he's a private investigator of.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Sorts and he works at the nightclub.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
Yeah, he works, he works with them or no, well
he he knows Fleesha Hardy who is a black hat, right,
but she owns a nightclub in this universe.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
So is Mary Jane in the university, not that I
know of.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
Well, he doesn't specifically state and know Harry Osbourne. No,
but I think there is a Norman Osbourne.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
But it has been Norman. It has to be a
Norman in there, because that's yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
I'm looking at the Wikipedia now and there there is
a bit talking about the Goblin or whoever he has
to fight the Goblin. Octavius comes up, Vulture craving, the Hunter.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
I wonder if they're gonna have those villains in there,
this is gonna have.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
I would really, I would really hope. So, but it's Amazon,
and I don't know what the budget is for this.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
They tend to throw some money now, they do.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
They do, so I don't I don't even know who's
walking on the show up. I think for the first
season they'll probably be kind of safe with it. You know,
they might, like you said, they might do like the
Nowhere version of a Kingpin or like a Hammerhead to
where Vulture. It could be Vulture. Vulture would be sick.
I would like to see like another live action Vulture.
(39:52):
That would be really cool. And it says here that
he is friends with Mary Jane Watson, So there is
a Mary Jane and the Spider Man Nowhere universe. So yeah,
essentially all the characters show up again. You've got Sandman,
Kirk Connor's Crime Master, all the characters. Yeah, all the
characters are still there. They're just like nowhere, Like it's
like nineteen thirty nine Private Investigator Spider Man.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
I'm gonna check out the pitch and see how they look. Yeah,
see like how the characters look.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Yeah, that's always fun to do. I always like looking
at like the different art styles of different characters when.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
They do that. And I'm appreciure he's not green guy,
but I'm appreciate he's his gob.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Let me see if I can
pull them up for quick. Nowhere Goblin when he in
the video game too, Yeah, the shattered dimensions. He was
in a video game, and he's really just like, yeah,
he looks like a big hulkish like kind of creature
with like pointy ears, pointy fingers.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Oh yeah, I saw it. I saw it. Okay.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Yeah, now I'm just looking up Nowhere characters.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Yeah, that's what I'm doing.
Speaker 1 (40:59):
I don't think Sandman will look two different.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Yeah, because he was He's wore a striped shirt and
base Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
Yeah, Nowhere vulture though, I mean because I'm fairly certain. Yeah,
he looks like a nosatu.
Speaker 2 (41:14):
Okay, that's kind of cool. I like that.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
Yeah, but I know that's part of the origins where
he is, like he ends up like killing and eating
Uncle Ben or something wild.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
It's funny at the same time, that's kind of I.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Don't go Ben Man, he doesn't catch a break.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
I really.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
Right, if you could choose.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
I could choose. I really get shot by bullet geeze.
Hopefully he shows. Hopefully shows that is as good as
you're telling me. I hope so too.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
I hope it comes out really good because I'm excited
for it. But yeah, you know, I'll always be there
for the Spider Man stuff. You got, man, I got
Spider Man.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
And how was he supposed to be in his best
well home? Somebody didn't like the TV show.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
And that I don't. He's played by Nick Cage, so.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
You would think that he would be like in his what.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
He's got to be like sixties or fifties in this
movie or in the end of the show. So I
don't know if they're gonna try to play off where
he's like, you know, a younger guy.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
But yeah, because that's kind of weird.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
I don't know how old he's like he's actually supposed
to be.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
I mean, I got so many questions about this show.
I know, right, it was that little sixteen minutes sixteen
second season, ain't.
Speaker 1 (42:37):
Yeah, it's really not a lot. It's just enough to
show you, like Nick Cage is voicing him, and.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
That was it.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
Yeah, So it says Spider Verse Nowhere or Spider Man
Nowhere is supposed to be around twenty eight to thirty
two years old. Oh yeah, I don't know if I
don't know if Nick Cage is gonna be twenty eight
to thirty year old, thirty two year old Spider.
Speaker 2 (42:58):
Man where he might be doing the voice.
Speaker 1 (43:00):
But you know what, old an older version of Spider
Man wouldn't be that bad to see either, to be honest,
especially with like how they keep like bringing him back
to high school. An alternate version where he's like an
older person, an older man, and he's like being a
private investigator slash superhero and you already have like his
universe kind of set up and you're just throwing the
audience into it. Wouldn't be the worst thing, wouldn't wouldn't
(43:23):
be the worst to just like, I mean, they will
have to show his origins obviously, because people like you,
James are very curious and don't I'm very curious. You
don't really know much about him.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
I don't know anything about him. Does he.
Speaker 1 (43:37):
I don't think he does. I think that's the one
character that doesn't show up, okay, me, I would imagine,
so Spider I would imagine.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
So if he has an uncle.
Speaker 1 (43:48):
Ben, Yeah, yeah, Maybell.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
Parker, Oh yeah, maybe that's about right.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
Yeah, he's got an I don't think he's got a
venom though. I don't think they got that far with
the series because you know, it's like one of those
short series kind of things. And then he still shows
up in the comics like every now and then when
they do like a Spider Verse. Yeah, but I don't
think he actually has like a venom Venom redit Reddit
says he doesn't.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
So because the reason why I say that, because you
can kind of makes you'll make your own story. Yeah,
you know with some of these characters, if you don't
know anything about it, you can gotta make your own story.
But if you want to.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
Apparently, like when they when they when the Venom Verse
happened in the comics, they did introduce like a nowhere Venom,
but they haven't actually put him in. I guess they
haven't come out with a Spider Man to wear a
comic with Venom in it. He's only been in the
Venom Verse.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
Yeah, I will sell well, we'll all turn me off
of the show. Is they start scatting a whole bunch
of saxophone music playing in the background. I don't.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
I don't think it's gonna be like that, you know
I'm talking about it? Maybe, Yeah, I know what you're
talking about.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
Yeah, scatting and a whole bunch of fog. And yeah,
saxophone music being playing in the background, had a whole
and and and the way they talk, you know how
he's talk back then, Yeah, like like bumpy.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Man, like yeah, like what's his name, Dick Tracy? Tracy. Yeah. Yeah,
I'm not gonna say they're not going to do that,
because that that could be a possibility. Yeah, I wouldn't.
I don't know. Yeah, I don't want to say that's
probably not gonna happen. I don't know. That feels that
feels like it could be there. I don't want it
(45:36):
to be either.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
I'm just saying, yeah, it worked back then, that don't
exactly work now.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
Yeah. So the premise for the show. The premise for
the show is and aging down on his luck. Private
Investigator grapples with his past life as the only superhero
in nineteen thirties in New York City.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Okay, so he will be older. Okay, I like that.
Speaker 1 (45:59):
Yeah, uh so far, we got Youah, Nicholas Cage a
spider Man. We got Robbie Robertson is supposed to be
a character here. No other characters are named, though, I
don't know who's playing who or what villains are supposed
to show up. There's no actual information on that. There's
just there's just castings.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
Okay, all right, fine.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Yeah, it could just be a gangster film. But I
mean they gotta have a villain in there somewhere that
think it's the Vulture that would make the most sense,
because you don't want to.
Speaker 2 (46:28):
Know the King Pink because you don't want one, you
don't want to marvel.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
But also if you're gonna do if you're gonna have
him be like the older Spider Man, you still have
to explain his origin. So having the Vulture be the
main villain being like, you know, he never got he
never caught the guy who killed Uncle Ben and being
making that the plot of like season one, and then
you do flashbacks to him, you know in the younger days,
(46:55):
you know, like you you pepper his origin throughout the series, right, sure,
throughout the first season they could do that.
Speaker 2 (47:03):
Yeah, all all of the mind. I don't mind.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
Yeah, very curious. I'm glad you brought that up. I'm
excited for it.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Yeah. So that was I think that was the last
trailer they played this week.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
It was essentially, Yeah, there's there's a there's a few
interesting things that came out this week. It was a
good week for trailers.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
Yeah, because today was I knew. I knew Super Mails
coming because everybody kept out well now everybody kept talking
about what the marketing for it. Yeah, I was talking
about it and James Van said kept talking about this.
I knew that was coming. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
And then Ironheart was coming out. I knew that was
coming too, because everyone was like, where's Like, why aren't
we why aren't we doing this?
Speaker 2 (47:40):
But they could they could ease the show that yesterday.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
They could have I don't know why they did what
I saw.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
From what I saw, they could ease showed that yesterday.
Speaker 1 (47:47):
Yeah, I don't really know why they didn't. Like someone
thought maybe they were waiting I don't know for they
were holding off for whatever reason. Someone thought maybe like
Robert Downey Junior would come back as a voice of
an AI because that happens in the comics. Like in
the comics, Uh, Ironheart has an AI, that's Tony Stark.
Speaker 2 (48:06):
Yeah, that was gonna do that. They would have just
went on and showed it, because that's the only way
you can hike this show up. Yeah, at this point,
I don't think anyone's gonna watch this, so unfortunately, probably
me and you when you watch this. Yeah, so you know,
unfortunately it's like another show down and down the draink.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
It's just you know, what Disney should do Disney Disney
has a whole Disney channel, like on cable TV, instead
of like putting everything on streaming behind the streaming like
wall because not everybody can't afford fifteen different streaming services. Yeah,
what they should do is do like what Cartoon Network
does or Adult Swim does with their programming, right, Like
(48:46):
when when they have a show come out, like Brick
and Morty, they'll do, Hey, it premiere is Friday night
on Adult Swim and next day on Max. And there's
a few other things. There's a few other shows that
I've seen, or like you know, MGM Plus and Amazon
for example with The Spider Nowhere a thing, even though
those are both behind a payble.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
Yep, but I still yeah, but my point being they
should do that with like these live action shows.
Speaker 1 (49:14):
They should just put it on Disney Plus. And you
can put it on at like ten o'clock at night,
right because they're they're a little bit older, you know,
so put them on at like nine ten o'clock and
I'd be like, Hey, iron Hard premieres on Disney Channel
cable television this day, this time, next day on Disney Plus.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
I think that'll get a lot more eyeballs on it.
But what will I know?
Speaker 2 (49:36):
You know, I don't know nothing. I don't know nothing.
I'm just I'm just confused. I'm just confused as you.
Speaker 1 (49:43):
Yeah, yeah, but to sign up the Times? You got
anything else for me today?
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Oh? This is it? That's it.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Yeah, yeah, those words her tyrone Magne. I didn't know.
Speaker 1 (50:39):
I didn't realize she's gotten so bad.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Yeah, she's gotten real bad. Man. A lot of people
don't like her because.
Speaker 1 (50:45):
I used to watch her when I was younger, but
I never really, like, I don't know, paid that close
attention to her takes or I guess her takes weren't
like as bad as they are now. I used to
just watch her to like find out about the movie news.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
But I guess so she got that, so she came
into money. That's when she started weird. Yeah, content man.
