(00:04):
Monday a vile day, a dayso infamous that it should be banned all
together. The average American will havesixty bad days a year. Fifty two
of those days will be Mondays. If it were up to me, I
would ban Mondays altogether and replace thathorrendous day was second Sunday or first Tuesday,

(00:27):
or perhaps the American people would votefor a new day altogether. As
a democracy should enjoy the second Sundayand first Tuesday Weekend Report. Hello,

(00:55):
hello everybody, and welcome to theMonday Weekend Report. Whereas the narrator for
an intro suggested the second Sunday inthe first Tuesday Weekend Report, it doesn't
really roll off the tongue as welldoes a jumps, but it does.
You know what it does sound like. It's like those uh it's like a
car commercials. Is the mister Bcommercials, old school mister B commercial.

(01:17):
Yeah, yeah, that's what itsounds like right here right now. So
yeah, yeah, I hope he'llget in trouble for that, but yeah,
I don't think I think I could. I won't get for singing it.
Oh yeah, that's that's that's stillmy neighbor guy. Yeah, I
got him to do about these recordingsin a session. And you know,

(01:37):
between episodes, James, I lookedup what a plug is, and now,
what makes sense why you got nakedwhen off the money? It makes
sense? Cool. Yeah, that'swhy I say, you're gonna find out
for I do. I'm not.I'm not gonna go. I'm not gonna
get that guy to record anymore.I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go off
for fifty bucks to another neighbor someoneit's a little bit more uh, well
mannered. I wouldn't have went overthere at all. Well, you know,

(02:05):
I just I wanted to do likesome man on the street kind of
stuff, going to these people's houses. Yeah. You know, when I
say neighbor, I mean somebody ina completely different department that I snuck into.
So on the other side of town. So you know, no nobody,
nobody recognizes me. Sure you havemustache on? Well you have a
mustange? Yeah. Well, wellyou know I got one of those masks

(02:25):
where it looks like your regular face. Oh okay, So I went all
in just for this, for thisone audio recording. That's how dedicated I
am to the to the show.James, I thought you were like one
of those Nickson No Bill Clinton maskNo, No, I couldn't find any.
Remember those mans backing today? Yeah, weren't there bank robbers who wore
those masks? They made a movieabout them, right yeah? So uh,

(02:47):
as I stated it before, it'sMonday, Monday. What we can
report? We usually talk about ourweekends and whatever else comes to mind.
So James, how was your weekend? Oh it was okay, man,
same ol same. Oh, yeah, you're doing anything fun and exciting.
And no I did not, No, I did not. No, I
ain't do nothing, man, Idon't really do nothing on the weekends like
that. I just like to relax, Yeah, just love watch whatever I

(03:09):
want to watch, and wash clothesand get ready for the wig, get
ready for the week to start.Washing clothes is the worst, man,
I hate it, like washing clothesnever It just never ends. Well,
you gotta wash and drying, yeah, but it works, It just never
ends. Actually, we're really badabout putting our clothes away because we'll wash
the clothes, we'll dry the clothes, and then they all sit in another

(03:30):
hamper for months on end, andthen we just dig through them before our
clothes until eventually I get tired andput all my clothes away. But yeah,
we have a chaotic life. Wellif I live what to go life,
yeah, because everybody's always want togo. Yeah. So do you
like to be iron clothes? Doyou know iron? Yeah? I know
how to iron. I only ironcertain clothes for certain events and for certain
things. You know. I meanwhen I when I go to work,

(03:52):
I don't iron my clothes, whichI have. I have a little smaller
story about that. So my jobis in an office building, right,
it's it's it's a radio station,but it's located in an office building.
So naturally when I get off,I get off around noon. Well that's
when all the other people in theoffice building are going to lunch. You
know. Normally, when I'm goingdown to the elevators, I'll cross paths

(04:15):
with some of the normalies or thenormal people in the normies, the normies,
and I'm leaving work in my attire, which is like a jacket and
my unkempt face and my T shirt. They're they're leaving their jobs and like
their nice office clothes. They're buttondown shirts, their blouses, they look
nice and all put together. Thenhere's me. There's a little goblin crawling

(04:40):
out of a radio studio that madeto be fair. You're a producer,
so it's like, I mean,it's it's true. So for I mean
my job, it's like no onereally cares. But it's funny just because
like just me me leaving work sometimesjust like yeah, I work in this
building too, and you wouldn't believeit. Like the dressed like Jimmy Olsen,
Yeah right, where like wearing abull tie and start doing that.

(05:01):
Yeah, maybe I should start wearingreporter attire. Yeah, look like jim
Yelsen. But it's funny because Ialmost feel that same way too when like
the salespeople come around, because likeyou know, there's two sides for our
floor. We have like the radioside and then we have like the sales
side. Every now and then thesalespeople will bring in like the clients to
show them the studios or like theirfamily or whatever, and they give them

(05:24):
a little tour, and then Ijust feel like a zoo animal because at
that point they're just like and that'swhere the news is coming out of,
and I'm just over there, hunchedover my computer doing whatever. There's like
a little window like in the door, like a little slit of a window,
and like I can see them peekingin, and I'm just like,
like, I'll be like, can'tminimizing minimizing the YouTube and the Reddit page

(05:46):
just to make it look like yeah, right, But that's what it feels
like. It's just like, here'shere's the thing. The person that makes
the stuff work, that he's responsiblefor all the revenue that the station makes.
God man, that's funny. That'show I see myself at work.
Animals, animals. What you dois important. What you do, it's

(06:11):
important. It's just I don't lookimportant. I feel, but yes,
I feel when I come on,when I come on from work, I
have to go to the store andsomething. You know, everybody looking at
me because if my clothes are somewhatdusty, which I don't know why it
would be dusty, but if itis dusty and somewhat people looking like where
we come from, everybody should know. This sister's ex boyfriend, he's come

(06:34):
used to work for the City ofHouston. He's clean sewage for a little
man and he used to clean porterpotties and he would that smell very pleasant.
Obviously, of course, so hewould go to these different places and
they're looking like, what the hellis that smells going on? This is
an earthly smell. Yeah, it'san an earthly smell. I smelled it

(06:57):
before. I was like, holycrap, whooa man like those boots?
Oh my goodness, forget about it. So this one time, this woman
he had went to the store. It was buying some clothes, and this
woman approached him and she was like, hey, don't ever come. Don't
ever go to the store looking likethat. And he was like, well,
man, we all do, weall do respect. I don't really

(07:19):
care what you think, which Iget you know, you know, you're
not supposed to care what somebody elsethinks. But if you're feeling that ungoffly,
ungodly, I try to stay awayfrom my stores. If I know,
I don't look that presentable. Itrying to stay out of stores.
What you doing, Like, youwear jeans and the shirt and a jacket,
So it's not that bad, youknow, it's really not that bad.

(07:42):
You stay with a fresh cuet forthe most part, right, So
it's like, you know, butI do understand what you're saying. I
do what you I do get it. I do have a story from a
weekend. We took off Austin onFriday, Yeah, to go to cause

(08:07):
see follow a Boy. The followBoy came through and we had seen followut
BOYD before. We I've seen followa Boy at the pavilion over in the
Woodlands and I got take us throughmy job and we were like third row
from the stage. It was verygood, very good seats for the amount
of money I didn't pay for them. Great show. They put on a

(08:28):
great performance. You know, oneof one of my favorite bands from high
school and whatever. But so theywere coming through again. They're doing like
a second leg of their tour andthey came through Austin. So we were
like, hey, let's go.Let's buy some cheap seats. We've seen
them live before, you know, let's just go hang out in the rafters
and it'll make it a night. It's Friday night, it's perfect timing.
We just drive up there and sowe do that. So put on a

(08:48):
great show they were. They're touring. Their main band of the touring with
is Jimmy World, and I thinkthey're picking up some other bands, but
there it was like them Jimmy World, a band called the Main which is
one of co Teach's favorite bands. And then this other band called Daisy Grenade
and they're they're like a they're they'rea girl rock band, right, but
there's there's two singers to them, and we miss them, but we've seen

(09:09):
them before. We're live as well, and they put on a great show.
It was basically at their Austin's versionof Toyota Center, right, So
it's at the Moody Center in Austin. If anybody knows where that is,
it's it's I think it's next tolike one of the universities up there,
but it's essentially like their Toyota Center. And so we got there. The
main, the main just got onstage. We're watching the main They're really

(09:30):
energetic. They're really fun. Likethe singer jumps in the crowd at one
point and has like a dance battlewith like all the all the crowd people,
and at some point he brings uplike a member of the audience to
sing like one of the songs. They're always fun, always put on a
great show. Jimmy World, Ihadn't seen live before. You know Jimmy
World, right, the middle leadAmerican, you know a bunch of other
songs, Jimmy World comes on andthey're all wearing black and no stage presence

(09:58):
whatsoever. They're just playing their songsand that's it. Like they're not even
moving around the stage do what. They had no energy at all. No,
they had not not a lot ofenergy at all. And I don't
know if it's because maybe maybe theaudience wasn't giving them energy to work with
it, because you know, sometimesthat's how it goes, right, Yeah,
So I don't know if like acouple of songs in they were just

(10:20):
like, oh, hey, theydon't really care for us, so let's
just play the songs and get outof here. But it could be the
case. It could be the casewe were up in the rafters, right
so. And I mean also theopening bands, you know, people are
kind of just getting there sometimes,so you're not really there for the opening
band. So is it there's adifference performance or there's a difference in performing
when there's an opener and a headliner. You know, headliners have the big

(10:43):
stage sets and the bigger sound andeverything else, and the openers don't have
as much, but you can stillmake it fun. I mean, some
of the songs they played, Ireally enjoyed. So it was cool hearing
them. And they told a storyabout how when they were like between songs,
they told a story about way backin the day, like ninety seven,
when they first went to south BySouthwest because south By south South Southwest

(11:05):
is going on, yeah, andthey told a story about they were playing
I don't know if they were headline, but they were playing there, and
so they were like, yeah, back in the day when we played,
you know, they they would giveus one hundred bucks each and like five
drink tickets. Yeah. No,that's how it was back then in ninety
seven. And so he goes us, being the smart kids we were,

(11:28):
we went to Kinko's and printed outlike a thousand of the drink tickets because
they were just orange and they justhad like the date on the back.
So they just like mass produced thedrink tickets. And that's not bad.
Yeah, it was a neither littlestory. I actually I enjoyed that story.
But so after Jimmy World gets offthe stage, and first of all,
like when they get on stage, these dude bros come join us in

(11:50):
the stands, like the there's liketen of them, like six of them
sit behind us and four of themsit in front of us, and I
was worried because they were all justlike really tall like bros. Right,
And I was worried that they weregonna be there the whole night. And
then when we stood up for FallUp Boy, we were't gonna be able
to see anything. But they werejust really there for Jimmy World, it
seems, because they were really intoJimmy World and like all the all the

(12:13):
songs they were playing, and theywere making jokes because they played a slow
song at one point, and thenone of the guys was like, hey,
remember the middle school dance when whenthe girl you had a crush on
broke up with you. This thisis a song. This is that song.
They were They were fun during thatshow. But so Jimmy World gets
done, I go to the bathroom, you know, relieve myself before the

(12:35):
main act, right, And soI'm standing in line for the for the
bathroom, and there's a guy infront of me and he goes to talk
to another guy ahead of him inthe line, and I thought they were
friends, and I was like,Okay, he's going to tell his buddy
something and he's gonna come back.So he comes back and then we inch
closer because there was actually a linefor the for the men's restroom, and
so we inch closer to the interestto the thing, and then he's like

(12:56):
started yelling at the guy like, hey, expletive explotive blah blah blah.
I guess like I don't know.I guess like I cut and that's why
I was talking to him. Idon't I don't fully understand it. But
anyway, so we get inside thebathroom, I do my thing. I'm
at the hand washing station washing, trying to wash my hands. The guy
in front of me, who wasyelling at the one guy is there.

(13:18):
And then the one guy who wasgetting yelled at was already like wiping his
hands. He's about to go,and so the guy in front of me
is like, hey, man, you're lucky. I'm I'm on probation because
otherwise i'd beat your you know, beat you up, and blah blah blah.
The guy's like, what do youwant probation for? He's like,
I killed someone. Then I killedsomeone like you like cut in front of
me or whatever, and I'm justlike, I'm just trying to wash my
hands. Only Jacob is caught upin this, and you know what's worse

(13:41):
is it's like three sinks. Sothe sink I was at it did the
soap. The water was not comingout, man, So I'm I'm just
there like trying to like wash myhands, and I'm just like, at
what point do I just accept thesoap? And because there's this little interaction
going on and eventually I and Iwas able to wash my hands and I

(14:03):
got out of it just like butit was just like at the Fallout Boys
show, Like, first of all, that's like that sounds really pretty crucial
for like a Fallout Boy. Expectthat from like a metallical type of concert.
I'm on probation for killing someone. For two, what the heck are
you? Like? Why are youso angry? Is the type of music?
Man? And what's word is?Like I couldn't remember if he's one

(14:24):
of the dude bros because he hadto look to him. He looked like
one of the dude bro guys. And I was like, oh, man,
don't tell me those guys up inthe stands. I never saw him
again. We went separate ways orwhatever. What is happening? Geez man?
And then the dude bros got annoyingfor Fallout Boy because they kept yelling
like play the hits, play thehits, and they were. They played

(14:45):
the hits the whole night. Allthose songs they played were like hit songs.
But it's just like they only knewlike the two thousand and five album.
But mean, well, if youknow that one album, it's just
like, come on, man, what are you doing to fall out about
a Fallout Boy concert? Don't justknow what happened? To be fair,
they played a fair amount of thetwo thousand and five album. They played
all the hits from that album, just stringed out throughout the night. That's
like Homer Simpson, play you play, take care of Business. We just

(15:09):
did that playing the David Spade hada great joke from back in the day
about how he would just go toconcerts for the like the one song he
wanted to hear, and then hewould just leave after that. I won't
blame He's like, oh, LeonardSkinner's playing, Yeah, I'll watch him
for free Bird, all right? They played Freebird, time to stuff me
to go? Then when are theyplaying Freebirt all the end? Like I

(15:30):
don't watch the whole thing? Ohyeah, that's other than that was everything
else pretty good. It was afantastic time. It was great. It
was a great night, great show. We were up in the rafters,
but like everybody in the rafters wasalso having a great time. Is everybody
still fall by? Yeah? Man, the Fallow Boys still they put on
an album like last year did Yeah. Yeah, they're still making music.
You don't promote fall Out Boy likethat. What they don't really promote rock

(15:54):
music like that anymore. Yeah,It's it's hard to keep track of it,
right because like modern day radio stations, they don't. They hardly play
new songs. When they do,it's only the one song. Spotify is
where you're going to keep up witha bunch of stuff, right, but
you have to follow the artists andkeep up with the updates. But yeah,
follow boy. They because this albumthey put out is kind of like
a mix of all their all theirmusic and like what they've done over the

(16:15):
years. So it's got all thedifferent kind of sounds they've been doing.
Because because there was a point wherethey were putting out like really like electronic
heavy music, right, like Ithink they had two albums of that,
and they this is kind of likethem going back to the roots, right,
it's a little bit of a mix, but they for the most part,
they're kind of back to the tothe roots because they had Save rock

(16:36):
and Roll, which was a greatalbum, and then the two after that
I never listened to obviously, Ijust have to Save rock and Roll.
Yeah, No, but Save rockand Roll was great because they had they
had a lot of like feature artistslike owten John had a lot of hits
and that whole album album, likethe music videos. Have you ever seen
the music videos of them? Oh, it's a story. It's it's like
a whole like ten eleven parts story. Each each song is the thing.

(17:00):
It's a great watch really so,but yeah, ten out of ten recommend
follow Bay. They put on agreat show. They had whole set pieces,
like at one point there was adoberman's head just in the background singing
along to those songs that they wouldn'tinteract with, and then they would change
it up and there was like thisgiant, spooky looking tree and the bassist
did like a magic trick because hestood up on a piano and he did

(17:22):
the sheet in front of him andhe dropped it down and he was gone.
But then he was like up inthe tree. Oh okay, that
old school band's tree. Yeah.Yeah, and then he had a guitar
that shot flames. They had alot of pyro and fireworks and just it's
a good show. If you wanta good performance, definitely go see them.
All right, good time. Yeah, it was a good time.

(17:44):
And then we came back the bathroom. Yeah that was so weird. I
just alter. You wouldn't expect that, like a Fallout Boy show. Yeah,
like that's that's a skillet type,that's a heavier thing. And yeah,
and the guy, the guy whothe to the angry dude was threatening,
was just like, oh man,you know, I'm sorry you made
that mistake in your life. Gotout that he was not really intimidated by

(18:08):
this dude. Yeah, this dudewas clearly like drunk, and who's to
say he really killed somebody, butjust like, oh I killed someone,
okay, yeah, all right,Well, I'm sorry you made that awful
mistake. I guess I'm pretty sureyou wouldn't still be here, all right.
Well, he said he was injail for two years, which also
only two only two years for killingsomebody. Yeah okay, So but if

(18:30):
if you're out there a person whoI'm talking about at this fall Out Boys
show. My name is Yeah.Yeah. Yeah, you never want to
hear from the killer? Yeah, just give a side of the story.
Yeah, call in, Yeah, email us. I'd only go on the
show. He'll be a slash showrelocated in ol Passo and yeah, right,

(18:52):
we're locating now past Texas. Yeah, and actually one of us does
the show from Tennessee. So thereyou go. It can't find us,
yep, no where you just incase you try to come after us.
Yeah, that's all I got.You got, you got a story for

(19:17):
me, not so much a story, but I do want to put out
this p s A because I dohate. I don't know how you feel
about people that self loath and youtry to help them out with their problems,
but then you give them a solutionto their problem and they're still making
the same mistakes. Yeah, Ican't stand Oh man, I was trying
to help somebody, like you know, somebody calls you like, I'm so

(19:40):
lone. I don't have anybody inmy life. I said, well,
I mean, what type of changesthat have you've been trying to do.
I've been working out and stuff likethat. I said, well, that's
good, you know working out. That definitely helps a lot, but it
still doesn't work. You know,I don't know what else I can do.
People don't like my jokes. It'slike, well, how about you
stop saying the same lame joke. He's stop making the jokes. It's like,

(20:00):
you just gotta adapt sometimes. Look, I've heard some of the jokes.
It's not funny. It's not funny. Yeah, you know, I
try to keep it real with thatperson. I just like, look,
knowledge for a minute, Knowledge fora minute. I'm not saying that you
need because you don't. How canI say this? You don't need to
make friends just to make jokes. You don't need to make jokes. Just

(20:22):
make friends. There you go,just be yourself, Just be yourself and
just you know, just just justbe chill, be natural. You know
what I'm saying, Like I'm I'mbut the same person, keep making the
same mistakes over and over again.I'm like, well, look, you
know what, I can't help youno more. Yeah, I'm not finished
up here. And keep entertaining selfloathing. It's a bad trait and it's

(20:44):
very annoying. Bad enough, you'vegot something else going on in your life
and then you got somebody else selfloathing. Yeah. Also, some people
are just certain personality types, youknow, and at a certain point,
you're not going to change how aperson is, you know, especially with
adults. Adults are gonna be whothey are and how they are. It's
very hard just to change someone's personalityor get them to change a habit or

(21:08):
whatever. So I mean, thebest thing someone could do is, if
you're around people who aren't meshing withyou, you should probably find a group
that you fit in with. Imean, I know that's kind of dangerous
because like not dangerous per se,but like you still have to be careful
with whom because you could fall downsome like really random things. I was

(21:30):
just telling me about like the conspiracyTheory documentary I saw, where like they
talk about people getting the conspiracies whereit's like, oh, yeah, they
feel lonely in the world, sothey go and join these group. Yeah,
these random groups, don't join acultult you know, be a little
bit more predictive of yourself. Butlike you know, sometimes you just need
to take yourself out of the environmentyou're in and you need to put yourself

(21:52):
in a better environment. Where youknow, do some self exploration. If
if you're making jokes and people aren'tfinding it funny, is because they're bad
jokes or is it just the peopleyou're making the jokes with don't find that
stuff. They don't get my jokes. It was like, I mean jokes,
it's just not funny, man.Yeah, and I don't gay Dane
Cooked the situation. Keep peddling thesame joke down and down, like it

(22:12):
doesn't work like that. Speaking ofDane Cook, I saw a clip of
him. I guess he did standup recently. Yeah, he did.
I saw it, and well,I didn't see you. I know.
We talked about him on a previousepisode. But he was joking about his
young wife. He was like,oh, yeah, people don't like it.
My wife's like twenty three and I'mforty nine or whatever. And he's
like, so, anyway, Iwas telling my wife good night, she

(22:33):
was doing her homework, and hewas making a big joke about it.
But he the punchline to the joke. I'm not going to recreate the whole
joke, but the punchline to thejoke was, oh, I you know
this first person I've really been inlove with and I was just like,
you know what, I'm so inlove with you. And he's like,
he's like, where have you beenall my life? And he's like and
then I remember she was she didn'texist for like the first twenty three years

(22:56):
or Whatever's see, that's funny. It was funny because like the whole setup,
and you know, you he tookhis situation and hate the joke,
but I thought it was good.I don't know you ever hear you just
ever hear some of those jokes. We're like, that's a good one.
Yeah, that's a good one,you know what I mean, I know
everyone has that one joke that waslike, Okay, that's that's good.
Yeah, all right, I likethat one I gave you. I got
keep you that. That was agood set up. Yeah, yeah,
that's what I'm talking about. That'swhat you call good set up, good

(23:18):
delivery. And it worked. Yeah. And obviously Dane Cook is probably I'm
pretty sure Dane Cook's gotten better athis comedy right. Well. I mean,
also Dane Cook probably knows where hestands in the comedy world, because,
like I said, at this point, he's like the nickelback of comedy.
You know what. I mean whereit's like people just hate him to
hate him. Sometimes sometimes I didenjoy Nickelback. I did enjoy Dane Cook
like back in the day. Ilike The Vicious Circle and all that stuff.

(23:41):
But I mean, if I ifI went back to watch it now,
maybe I'll have different thoughts because Ihaven't seen it since I was in
high school. Yeah, of course. So, but you know, like
I said, I just can't standsince loothing, I don't. I don't
know if you have been around peoplelike that, it's just, oh,
I'm depressed. I'm depressed. I'mdepressed. It's like, well, I'm
trying to give you solutions to thisproblem. Yeah, there there definitely are

(24:02):
people who kind of dig their ownhold. Now, you do have people
who have legitimate issues and for somereason it just seems like life just wants
to destroy them. But there areother Yeah, there are other people who
just kind of create the issues orlike maybe their issues isn't as big as
they think it is. True. That's another one. That's a good one.
Yeah, that's good because you gota lot of people that think their

(24:25):
issues are just so big. You'reright, And it's hard to say because
you know, I don't want tobe that guy who's like, well do
you think you got it Brad?I got it bad. It's not like
that. It's not a competition, well like melodramatic, you know, or
over dramatic, where you know,if you stub your tail, your whole
day's ruined and your life is overand you know you're afraid you got to
pay a broken bone bill or whatever. I don't know. In other words,

(24:48):
nothing is never that bad. Nothingis never that bad where you know
it just ruins your entire day.Right Like last week, I had like
a bad day at work and Ifeel like just just just I'm being funny
killing everybody. I was just like, you know, I was like,
oh man, I'm going to justgo ham on everyone. Yeah. But
then I look at it. Iwas like, you know, I can

(25:11):
let this Jack White ruin my day, but I'm not. I'm just going
to go ahead on and just gohome by my day. But I did
clear that the issue I had upwith that person, and I told him
like, hey, do this,I'm not really in the mood to be
played with right now, you know, And it worked, you know,
everything was good after that. Buth yeah, I know one of my

(25:34):
man's just like, I know everyone'sbeen he sent on an email on the
schedule. He's like, I know, everyone's been kind of cranky lately.
Yeah, it's more than cranky, just people doing stupid stuff. Yeah,
it's just there's a lot of thatgoing around, like people just saying doing
stupid stuff and that that really canruin the day. That really can ruin
to day. And I'm some typeof person I really don't like to tell

(25:56):
my problems that moment, especially whenyou when you work at with varying age
groups. Yeah, you know, you have you have some people who are
on the older side of things, and when you when you have people who
are on the younger side of things, like just aut h just out of
high school. We're still in highschool. Like you know that that young
age a little sad part about it. Even the young people that's you.
Yeah, that's sometimes that happens too, right, it's older people. It's

(26:18):
the ones that's surprise you, likeI expect this from that person, like
you. The immaturity level, itdoesn't varies in kids and young people.
It varies older people too. Yeah, I understand that, and that's the
part that's scary. Yeah, I'mlike, that's no hope at all,
right, because like the silly highschool kid is not the issue. This
is the high school kid is lookingat us like, right, what the

(26:40):
hell's going on right now? Right? But they're just trying to pay for
a game or something. I don'tknow exactly. So I just figured I
go off with a little rint becauseI just just I needed that. I
need that little moment. Yeah.Sometimes sometimes I've totally been around that person
who's just like, oh what itwas me and blah blah blah, and
it's like, well, I don'tknow what to tell you. Man.

(27:00):
You can only give somebody so muchadvice or like help or are even Yeah,
I mean I can be an earfor so long. Yeah, you're
right, because I see people onFacebook that like every other day is like
a roller quester of them, likethey're either having the best day or they're
having the worst day. I'm justlike, why are you putting all this
on Facebook? That's a whole differentargument right there. Instagram stories like oh

(27:22):
I'm so alone. I'm like, you want, what's the point of this
post? Like some parts you're right, like they're on some level you're trying
to reach out. But then likewhen it's when it's such a daily thing,
you're just like, what's what's reallygoing on here? It's like,
you do know. There's a websitecalled better Help. It's it's time if
you started, not better help.Better help has gotten some under some scrutiny.

(27:48):
Apparently they don't they're not better helpfulat all. Yeah, I don't
know a lot of people use betterHelp. Yeah, I think there's been
some reports. I'm not so goodtherapist. Better Well, let me look
it up. James'll be here nowto all the way. Now, I've
been promoting better health for years.Better help. I mean, I'm preppyciate

(28:10):
it. We could back in theday. I'm curious to see what the
hell happened now. The FTC foundthat better Help has shared millions of customers
sensitive health information with advertisers such asFacebook, Snapchat, crideo, and Pinterest.
Oh that's all the time, though, that starters. That doesn't surprise
me. There's a Reddit post aboutit. I always hate this because there's

(28:33):
always one of those things where it'slike, oh I saw something about this,
and then it comes up on thisand then I can just never find
it again. It's just gone, and I look like a fool. This
is from Newsweek. The only therapyplatform, Better Help, has come under
fire on TikTok, where patients havedescribed problematic experiences with their therapists. Well,
look, full disclosure, I readlydon't. I'm not the biggest fan

(28:56):
of disclosing my personal information over thephone, right, you know, I'd
rather do that to somebody who's qualifiedto do that. Allegedly, Yeah,
because I mean some people are notqualified, even if they are therapists.
Right. Well, I mean becauseyou never really know, right, Yeah,
you never really know. I tried. Someone says I tried Better Help

(29:18):
twice. I actually got a refundfrom them. My therapist was ten minutes
late to our ten minute meeting.First initial meeting. That sucks, The
patient said she shared a story thatwas traumatic for her, but the therapist
failed to focus on her experience andthen repeatedly attempted to market her own book,
she said. She She says shetried again, but her second therapist

(29:40):
completely missed two scheduled meetings after thetime. The second time, he allegedly
text an apology and said he wasat his other job. And then another
person said she met with a betterHelp therapist for three weeks before realizing that
her privacy was compromised, which leadsback to you know, the information being
sold other sites and whatnot. Man, that's to can Madge give me a

(30:02):
personal information? And then they it'sall over the web in a way,
and then someone else's account is asI log onto the video, she's talking
to someone and then just stops talking, is like, hey, how are
you so, let's get to startit, and they were like, they
responded, someone is in there, someone's in there with you. After through
the meeting, the patient said hertherapist walking into a public office lounge,

(30:26):
made pompcorn and started eating while theywere talking. And that's crazy. Yeah,
it's a professional place, is this? And well it's not. It's
a it's an online therapy thing.Anybody could signed up, I suppose.
I mean I would think they're realtherapist. But also if you're a real
therapist, why are you being atherapist on a on an app? You

(30:47):
know? Well, I mean somepeople could probably can't afford that. I
actually had work in a building.Yeah, true, So just like hey,
or you know, maybe you're startingout and this you think this is
a good way to do it,and you know, I'm I'm fairly certain
there's quite a few therapists on orhelp that are better suited. Oh yeah,
no, I no doubt. Butthis is just like recent controversy because
you know, I mean not onlyyou were promoting it for years, but

(31:07):
older like major YouTubers, major influencers, they were always you know, pushing
better Help and then I never noticedit. But yeah, up until recently,
they they've kind of stopped, they'vestepped away from it. So maybe
don't promote better health as much James, Yeah, right, I mean,
well I'm probably still gonna promote itbecause it's the only other thing, you
know, right, the thing,I know, it's dishing hundreds of dollars

(31:29):
to real a real therapist, butlike an in person therapist, A lot
of people don't have money to dothat, and they don't have the time
to do it. Yeah, yougotta have the time and you know,
and money just to go to someof these therapists. You're right, and
better Help was handy because you cankind of pull somebody up, like like
uber for therapists, right, you'rejust like, oh right, yeah,
you pull them up. And thenif that person who you didn't, like,

(31:51):
you know, they'll pass you intoanother person. Yeah we fire them,
yeah yeah, fire them. Soyeah, that's interesting that you brought
that up, because I you,I asked all that like a couple of
weeks ago, and I was like, oh, interesting stuff. Yeah,
I'm sorry, it's kind of evolvedinto something else. But that's all right.
It's some Monday we can report.Man, this is our our minsolaneous
show, you know what I mean. But other than that, that's just

(32:13):
that's pretty much how my week isgoing. Just dealing with self loaders and
yeah, self loaders and people thatact like they can't talk for themselves.
I kind of understand that, notreally, but you probably dealt with it
back in the day. You don'thave to deal with that now because,
like you said, you're in theoffice. That's true, you have to
deal with idiots like that. Yeah, It's it's so weird because like the

(32:36):
just juxtaposition of like my job comparedto like other people's jobs around me.
Dre deals with a lot of people, so she's always got stories, and
Joel deals with people, so he'salways got stories, you know. And
then me, I'm just like I'min my little cubicle, which is probably
a good thing. Man, I'mtelling you it's good. It's rough idea.
People are something else. People ofpeople are really something else. Humans

(32:59):
are trash. Humans are trash.I'm telling you. Yeah, Like I
know what I thought. But technicaldevices, I'd rather be a technical devices.
I really have to have the calltexts and mess with computers. Then
the talk to people talking to humansare And I was once in the customer

(33:19):
service industry as well, and ohboy, it was trying times. Oh
yeah, it's very trying, verytrying. I mean we could we could
talk about the I Wanka experience, but yeah, it's kind of old news.

(33:44):
Now it's old news. But Idid hear they supposed to make like
a movie out of it, likeThe Unknown. Yeah, yeah, into
the show Richard told me about that. I think that's silly. I don't
think. I don't think you shoulddo it either. I think just think,
well, okay, let's get intoit a little bit. Okay,
So La Wonka experience in Glasgow,Scolin relate to the game on this,

(34:05):
but basically this company and Scotland decidedto put on this event for like a
Willy Wonker thing. The whole thingoutside of it being actually physically put together.
AI generated. The script was aAI generated, the website was AA
generated. The actors individual scripts wereAI like them trying to read their lines

(34:27):
was ridiculous, and it's like theyjust fed an AI the Willy Wonka scripts,
both versions, and it just cameout with this bizarre like story of
Oh, you're going to visit WillyWonka's factory. But then there's like this
creepy unknown guy who lives in thewalls and he's trying to steal like a
recipe for a graffiti candy from WillyWonka, a graffiti candy, like it

(34:52):
was a candy that got rid ofgraffiti or something. I don't know,
But everybody was miserable there like that. It because it was supposed to be
a kids thing, so the parentsbrought the kids there. The kids were
miserable. You know the infamous pictureof the sad Oompa Loompa. It turns
out like from accounts from parents,it's like that one picture doesn't really describe

(35:13):
how she was. She was actuallythere, she was trying to give the
kids a good experience. She wasactually really nice to the kids, and
she was trying to be as much. All the actors there actually tried to
pull off like their roles right, like they knew it was bat you know,
bat crap crazy, but they werejust trying to make it work.
They were they were giving it all, giving it they're all and horrible time.

(35:37):
By the end of it, thepolice got called. It was it
was shut down entirely. I don'tknow what led to the police, what
they were. They were because people, I guess because people were outrage.
I'm sure some people got violent andso the police were called. They shut
everything down or whatever. And it'sfunny because I remember some of the comments
were I think one comment was like, well, if you read the book

(35:58):
and you've seen the movies, WillieWonka is historically about people going to a
chocolate factory and having a bad time. Yeah, technically, technically, technically
you're trying to put a cupcake ona pile of crap. But at the
end of the day, no,you're right, it was. It was
a huge rip off. It's justlike the comments about like, well you
think about it, they weren't justifyingit, but you know, it's a

(36:22):
joke. But apparently since it's gottenso much online presence. Now, you
know, it's such a joke. We've seen all the memes, Like you
said, Friend of the show Richardsaid they were gonna make a movie out
that unknown guy, which gonna bein the form of the Grinch. You
know how the Grinch art was was, Yeah, the Little hard Ris movie.
Yeah, it'll be kind of likethis style. Oh, oh,

(36:43):
don't do that, don't do it. Won't do it. But I suppose
they want to, I guess,so they're gonna Apparently there's been calls to
reopen it and just have it belike this bad experience, so now so
other people can go experience it's notfun. No, no, it's not
fun right because it's it's a badthing that God turned into a funny thing
because the Internet. But if you'regoing to reopen it, it's just like,

(37:06):
oh, you pay to have thisbad time. Who is who's really
gonna do that? We're gonna goout to Scotland for a horrible time at
this cheap factory. Why would youdo that? You already to expect,
so it takes the fun out ofit. Yeah, you're gonna go there
and be like, where's a sadoom Palloompa now that oom Plopa actually has
to be a sad, pitiful personinstead of an actor trying their best.
When I saw her, I thoughtshe was at I thought she was at

(37:28):
like a meth lab. She hadlike that whole thing was like, what's
going on? Right? What isthis? I thought she was like a
meth lab. I was like, wow, okay, that was that was
crazy. Don't like a meth laplike she was in the math Flap.
I was like, what is this? Yeah? I think there was two
of them, wasn't there. Ithink so like that one girl. She

(37:50):
she just looked so sad. Eventhough to play WILLI wont because he's like,
I apologize, this was not myintent. You know what I want?
You know. When the script hischaracter was Willy McDuff real, Yeah,
I'm not even joking. Hold letme see if I can pull it
up Willi McDuff. Oh, Imean it doesn't make sense. I mean,

(38:10):
I'm pretty sure Wonka was his realname, Willie Wonker. Here's the
full AI generated script from the WillyWonka Experience. Geez, yeah, I
think I think I did read someof that. I hate that lit'll read
more than they got about it alwaysselects you to some bs give me the
script. Yeah, that's not gonnahave it. Oh, here it goes.

(38:32):
Oh it's just like embedded in theemail. Okay, Willie McDuff Introduction
and audience interaction before entering the Gardenof Enchantment. And Willie McDuff with grandiose,
flourish ladies and gentlemen, an esteemedguest of all ages. Welcome.
I am Willy McDuff, your humbleguide on this journey to the extraordinary spectacular,

(38:53):
the downright oh no, a jumpworth, the downright magical Garden of
Enchantment. I see we have enthusiastsamong us. But before we proceed,
a few formalities, well not soformal, if I have anything to say
about it. Wings. You see, the Garden of Enchantment isn't just any

(39:14):
garden, Oh no, it's aplace where the trees whisper secrets of old,
the flowers singing harmony, and thestones well they mostly just sit there,
but they do it enchantingly. NowI must ask who among you has
brought their sense of wonder? Showoff hands please. It's actually not a
bad script up until to a certainpoint. Right, it's pretty I don't
want no part of that script atall. That just sounds absolutely let me

(39:37):
the intro. Yeah, sure, once you got once you started, even
through the story, it's like,oh man, this is bad. Wonky
Doodle one. That's a character WonkyDoodle. I'm guessing that's supposed to be.
But I like, the Unknown justpopped up from behind the window,
behind the mirror, just carrying amirror. I don't know what's up with
that. He can't afford to popout wall. There was no wall.

(40:00):
There's no wall, so if youpopped up behind the wall, it would
have been some rats probably in there. Here. You got a scene in
the Twilight Tunnel with me like WillieMcDuff, the Unknown and the anti anti
graffiti gob stopper. It sounds absolutelystupid. A graffiti everlasting golf stopper as
a graffiti come on, man, see, I guess the Unknown is like

(40:22):
recruiting the audience, like still thegop stop I don't know. It's such
a wild thing. What it wasour time. It's really entertaining, but
they should not reopen that place. It takes the fun and complete that out
of it. It really does. But yeah, that's yeah, that's that
movie idea. That's a bad idea. Don't do that. No, don't
do that. Don't do the movie. But hey, that's all I got

(40:43):
for this Monday. Yeah, man, that's all I got. We're gonna
