our belt and by the by, you know, end of

say this, there was a hit on their quarterback. Uh

vicious hit. It was one of those plays where the
helmet came off simultaneously. Well, one of your guys was tackling.
I just wanted to clear that up if anybody thought
there was no penalty thrown on the play. There was
no dirty play the young man. I think it's okay. Yeah,

I just I thought i'd bring that. That happened right
in front of me, coach, So I wanted to bring
that up.

Yeah, I mean I watched the film. You know, uh
we are are Greg Greg. Greg Williams is a heck
of a linebacker, yes, and when he gets there, he
gets there with some malice. He plays really hard. You know,
the kids got him and we played we played uh
four games and he's got you know, forty eight tackles

and wow, wow all over the field. You know, he's
a he's a great player, and he plays hard. And
that quarterback runs the.

I felt bad for him to coach, because I didn't
want him to think, you know what I mean, he
hurt that kid, and I didn't want him to think

you I was like, dude, you couldn't help that, you know.

you know, understand Yes, Yeah, but I've seen that quarterback

Saw you do that, coach. Yeah, I thought that was
pretty classy of you. That's that's what That's what good
coaches do. That that kid played his hard out, you know.

Yeah, and you want to bring the every kid, you know,
it don't matter if they're on your bring them up right.
I mean, I think that's what it's all about. I've
been doing this twenty six years. It's not about the
winds loss, about the you know, the relationships she was
developing and just just just supporting kids. Yeah, it's a
sport where you've learned a lot of life lesson and

lot of relationships with people, whether on your team or
on another team. There you go. So just try to

he was nervous and I thought he did so well.

struggling a little bit. I don't want to put any

against Ophlaka. But it's about your team getting better at.

The coach, Yeah, it's it's about us, us taking care
of Auburn. You know, that's doing what Auburn does and
just getting better every Friday night and you know, just
just working to be the best we can by the
end of the year. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I want to say this too, shuffling a little bit backwards.
When I I've watched all three times, he kicks in
and ends on every time, and it's just yeah, you
get you That is amazing And it ain't just on
the line. It's out the back of the end.

Yeah, he has something to be said for that, coach.

And his punting has been unbelieved. I mean he kicks
some sky balls. When you got a guy kicking there,

point four hang time, no doubt, sick time. It gives
your time, gives you a lot.

up forever, coach. I mean, he kicks some the other
night and I was just like wow. And then when
he kicks off, he doesn't even look like he's kicking
hard when he kicks off and it just explodes off
his foot. Anyway, that's a weapon. You know. I've seen
other kid kickers do that. That's just a weapon. A

In my opinion, Coach, it is a weapon. You know,
if you got to start on twenty yard line, that
means you got to put a drive together, make some
big plays to get all the way down.

No, we we we that's some things we've worked on.
You know. We real good in that department in a
couple of games, you know, early, so we did work
on that stuff, and I think we're doing a lot

Uh, they've got some athletes, you know, like you said,
they're struggling a little bit, but they played some really
good teams. So you know, they've got some guys who

those guys and do the little things right, block tackle,
you know, uh, do all the little things right.

Names, I think all I think all kids played pretty well. Yes,
you know, uh uh, you know, hopefully we get some
situations where we get some younger guys in this week
and see them and uh and make some make some adjustments.

How they do playing really good? Middle school's playing really good?
