these teams did. And I think we can fatfully say

that the right champion was crowned. But yeah, congratulations to
all fourteen teams that made it. It's a great accomplishment,
whether win or lose making it to the Super Seven.
But if you win it it's a it's a little
bit sweeter. So yeah, it was a great three days.

Lynette really close game, but Rush is able to get

up read option play sprints up the field touchdown. A
great performance. The play calling at the end of the

had Maplesville play wildly in a rematch at the state

had Nemiah McCarry, the running back for Maplesville to four
star running back, did a great job running in that game.

hoping the best for him, speedy recovery before he gets
to Auburn. But when you lose a guy like that,
you know it's going to be tough sledding the rest
of the way. So congratulations to Maplesville. They end up

very very good Linette football team.

They were they really were. Yeah, they surprised me. They
kept surprising me throughout the year. But you know, great
job to the Panthers and their staff. You know, certainly
a year to hang your hat on. I don't think
many people had expected them to come out of the
South and they did a great job with that really
good running back. I'm blanking on the same but number

twenty one for Lynette Man really tough runner, big running back.
They play in both ways obviously in two A. But
you know they've they've constructed a pretty well built football team.
They've got the trenches and they have a really good
receiver on the edge to Quest Johnson, who's got to
watch out for. He had four catches for two hundred

and one yards and three touchdowns against Real Town in
the semi final game, and he was able to make
an impact as well in the state title game. So
it wasn't for lack of trying for Lynnette. They were
leading in that football game against Couston. They just unfortunately
weren't able to get it done. And then we got
a little old one a as well. De Mark. We
had Maplesville play wildly in a rematch at the state
(12:24):
title last year and well, the script completely flipped. He
had Nemiah McCarry, the running back for Maplesville to four
star running back, did a great job running in that game.
Pierce Urigan was able to control the offense. The Maplesville
quarterback and really, for Wildly your offense is Jaques Wilks,

and when he goes down with a leg injury, obviously
hoping the best for him, speedy recovery before he gets
to Auburn. But when you lose a guy like that,
you know it's going to be tough sledding the rest
of the way. So congratulations to Maplesville. They end up
winning their game, they won forty two to twenty two,

and they get redemption on the state titled last year.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
There you go, and that wraps up the Super seven
right there.

Absolutely, I'll shout out the women's flag Moody brings it
home in the five A one A classification. They beat
Montgomery Catholic, the champions from last year out of that classification.
And then we all know what Central Phoenix City has done.
I believe it's something like fifty eight or fifty nine

games in a row that they've won. Now they've won
national championships in women's flag football. Dam Mark, they are
the real deal. They beat the Stavia. I believe it
was forty seven to seven.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
I think it was forty.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
The Stavia scored first in that game, and then it
was forty seven unanswered for the Red Devils as they
bring home another blue map.

Mmmm. They're pretty sporty in flag football.

There's smoke, there's usually fire, and you've got you've got

but boy, can we speculate. And you know, if there's

one thing about high school football in Alabama and the
media around it, boy.
