Speaker 1 (00:00):
We do every Thursday. It's time to talk to the
legendary coach Gene Stalin's. Our interview every Thursday has brought
to you by our good friends at Great Southern.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
On our journey, we've discovered a group of highly evolved
North American beavers. This remarkable colony has turned its leather
tails on sticks and twigs. Now they fancy Yellowwood brand
pressure treated pine. Their enthusiasm when finding a border to
nothing but the best from other nature elite builders for.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Five star backyards Yellowood brand pressure treated pine. If it
doesn't have that yellow sack, you don't want it. And

(01:00):
with that, ladies and gentlemen, it is time to go
to the Hamilton's Hotline. Hamilton's has a location on Magnolia
and Ogle Tree too fine places to dine as we
go out to Powderley, Texas to bring in the former
coach of the Crimson Tide, Saint Louis Cardinals Beebes coach
Jeans Stalin's. Good morning, coach, this morning, a plus coach.

(01:22):
How about you this time?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
May like you got your A game on?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
I got it, I got it, you got your A
game coach.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
I don't know whether do or not.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Why not.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I just don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I believe you do. What's going on with you? All right?
What's going on in Texas?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Well? You know, I think it rained last night.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
I'm out for sure, not for sure? Okay, was it
use a little? Okay? You've been watching football, coach Tallin's Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
I watch it, ever every time.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
It's all I know. Alabama got beat last week. Yeah,
what'd you think?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Well, they didn't play very good.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
No, they didn't. They turned the ball over too much,
didn't they.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
That's I do that.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
You can't do it.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
We can't wait at the compect to win the game
every week. Wait, you can do it occasionally. It was
not as much as they did.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Yeah, you're right. Uh, they got a biggie coming up
in two weeks. They don't have a biggie this week
unless they lose them, right, Coach, you don't think.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
That biggie, You just lose one of them.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Yeah, that's a good point. Auburn's got Mercer, Alabama's got
who Jeff. They don't play nobody Northern nor somebody I
don't know. Neither one of them.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Plays not exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Have the whole name, sir, oh Mercer. No, No, I
agree with you on that. Yeah, I agree with you
on it. That's a game, gimme game, that's exactly right.
That's that's exactly right, that's exactly right. Then it is
a gimming game. They lose it, they're gonna be in
some gimme trouble. You know, Auburn's still trying to fire

(03:06):
a higher head coach over here. Coach again, Auburn still
trying to find him a head coach.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
That doesn't make sense to me. Good places he is.
The coach is Auburn. And you think that they'd have
people lined up to go there.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Well, they got them lined up Eastern Little Noise. Think
you they play Eastern Little Noise, my back coach, they
line up, coach, but they just sent hired them yet
they waiting to hire them after the Iron Bowl.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Timmy Rain in charge of that.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I don't know. That'd be something you'd have to tell me.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Coach, next time I talked to him about last you
what is gonna happen there?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
You go, and then you need to call me and
tell me what's gonna happen, and then we'll all know,
because I expect he's in the note, sir, Then we
would we would both know, Coach I expect he's in
the know. Coach Dalkans. Don't you think I would say.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
If it's happening in that part of the world, it's
not in that part of the world and getting it,
get air blame and go wherever they.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Are exactly exactly. Hey, we got one of your football
players is going into Hall of Fame in Alabama? Did
you see that, John Copeland.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
He deserved to be in it.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
So I'm gonna come up there with you. You go
on to this. You gotta go to this one. Coach.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
I've tried to go over again. When would it be?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
I think it's in Marge. Coach Tubberville is getting inducted too,
so I know you got to go for that too.
Said that again, Coach Tubberville is getting inducted too.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
What hall of fame is it?

Speaker 1 (04:50):
The one you in the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Okay, all right?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
The one that I see you at, the one that
you hold courtion every time that they form a line
so you can see everybody.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I'd like to be.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
There, Yes, sir, they like for you to be there too.

Speaker 3 (05:09):

all the guys or people, not guys, but ladies and gentlemen.

get that handled.

Speaker 3 (06:13):

as easy.

Will We'll get Ricky to come get you.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Too, Okay, Ricky got a good play.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah, he usually does that. So we got to do
that between now and May. I'll help you with that, Okay,
I promise you.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Yeah, you got to help.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
I'll get you on that. I'll we'll see if we
can't get that worked out by next May.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
So there you go, because I'll forget it between that.
