Speaker 1 (00:00):
I know we have been talking about a Marvel slash
Star Wars podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
But you do not look excited whatsoever right now.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
I well, it's because I live in a world where
everyone just makes fun of me and criticizes me, and
they're like, oh, Nick, you're not on time for the
second day in a row.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Okay, First of all, we were supposed to record yesterday,
and then what happened. You show up an hour later
and you're like, I can't And I was like, all right, cool,
I was only ready. Well, it was only in my
calendar by you.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
I did. I did, and I will take responsibility for that,
unknowing that my wife, you know, when she was going
to get back from her vacation. So so I'm sorry,
Suit said, and I'm sorry for the thank you. Three people,
including Jenna, who were listening and I we're just like

(00:50):
on the edge of their seat, just waiting, just waiting
for this.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
And then what happened today? You were thirty minutes late.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I had a big meeting today. You know. I'm guy.
I guess so I have a lot of leather bound books.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
And this is what I'm saying, it should we should
we even do this because we're both pretty busy, but
you are busier.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Well what we're two minutes in. Yeah, so we've committed now.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
So that it came over.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Because because look, on paper, this is the concept of
this podcast came into my brain like five years ago,
and because on paper, we should not like share the
interest that we do, Like it makes sense for me
to be into this stuff because I'm a huge dork.

(01:37):
I'm like, you're a cool person.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
No, I'm a nerd.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Like well, yeah, I mean you're a nerd, like but
on paper, yeah, you're like a cool person and I
appreciate that. I'm the opposite of that. And so like like, well, wait,
let me speak. So I coached my my my preschooler's
soccer team, and the parents have started to get to

(02:02):
know me a little bit, right, and they're like they're
like going to Kaylin, my wife, and they're like, so
Nick's interests are they just like they just haven't changed
and ever, and she's like no, and it's like at
the time, I'm wearing Ninja turtle socks. Oh back to
the Future sweatshirt, and so yeah, so like I said,

(02:26):
we I mean that's why we get along. So well,
I know, I'm a child really cool.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Well, here's the thing, Nick and I worked with each
other for like a long time. We were on the
same team. We still are in the same team, but
we didn't speak. You were just in a different room.
And then when we start to talk, it's like, holy shit,
we kind of have we like all the same things.
Who would have thought Star Wars, Marvel, Disney.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Are are Nelly? Our pregnancies aligned like you were pregnant,
I was the pregnant her right, is that what I got?
Somebody else pregnant? And so we had that stuff like
they are all aligning at the same time.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
And daddy issues, like so many things that we were
just like, are like are we the same?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
We're literally the same.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
And then and then and I think we both have
gone through the same like genesis in our interests too,
where it's like we're still like, we still love it,
but the interest has subsided some with the quality right right,
with the quality of of of programming being put forth,
and I was like, well, we have to commit to

(03:33):
this at some point one way or the other. And
so here, you know, here we are.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Well, after Comic Con San Diego went down, we were like, Okay,
now we're excited.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yeah, and then it was like three months later we're like,
let's record a podcast.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Damn right though, That's.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
How that's how it went down. So here we are
in the in this in this new in this new world,
right and in this new face, in this new Yeah.
Then wow, you it's like you've been It's like you've
been paying attention.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I know.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
And so when when you think about like the I
guess the Disney aspect and we can cover whatever nerd
stuff like that's fine, But like what got you into
like the MCU, what got you into Star Wars? Like what? What? What?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
What is a good question?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Birth? Susante? What after birth came from you going into
the MCU? What specifically? Jesus no, man, forget tell me
to stop?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Well, I mean you keep going. I don't know when
to jump in. Honestly.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Like the reason why the MCU is as big as
it is, that's the reason why I'm so in love
with it. It's Robert Downey Jr. Two thousand and eight,
iron Man. Once I saw that movie Game Over, that
was it. I was hooked.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Oh boy boy. So that came out the same year
as The Dark Knight Right, And and I remember this
specifically because The Dark Knight was so dark and gritty
and Iron Man was like more fun, like both great movies.
But I was like, we're on a base a franchise
off anything, it's gonna be Batman, Like there's no way
you can't like, there's no way they're gonna be able

(05:19):
to rope in all these other characters, like whereas Batman
is so easy and now we're twenty plus years later
and it's gone the exact opposite. So I'm not good
at predicting things clearly, and so I mean that's I
think that's where like my interest started to because that
was like I love the Spider Man movies right right,

(05:41):
Like that's where that's where. Yeah, that's where like my
afterbirth came. And so like those first three Toby Maguire
Spider Man movies is like where is where my bread's buttered?
And then when you start in the ACTU and everything

(06:02):
that's come like so full circle obviously, like with Tobyquire
coming back, it's like I started, wait, hold on, this
is where I was going. This is where I was going.
So what was it that made you start to lose interest?
Because we used to come in Monday mornings and like

(06:24):
have a full review over whatever movie we saw over WandaVision.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Right right, like what was it?

Speaker 3 (06:32):
That kind of it didn't take you all the way out,
but it wasn't so much I have to see this.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
I think it was the amount of content we were getting,
like all the series on Disney plus some were cool,
but then it became too much, and then some of
it it kind of went away with the style.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Like your quality started going down, right, it.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Got a little like it was like for children, you know,
got a little corny that I think that's where I
started to like kind of step away. And also it's like,
you know, I forever want what's his face to be
my Captain America, Chris Evans, Chris Evans. So just having
to say bye to Phase three of the Avengers really

(07:17):
hurt my heart. But I understood that we have to
keep it moving and there's and we are going to
eventually fall in love because I have trust in Disney
like that with the new characters and the new movies.
But it was just really hard to stay by to
everyone in Endgame, not everyone, but you know, our our
Iron Man or Captain America.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
And there's the reality of it. Right, Like there's also
like we we would love to live in this fictional
world where all these like they don't go away, they
can stay you know, in their forties and fifties. Ye,
they can't, you know, at some point, like Chris Evans
does want to do other things, Robbie Jarren Junior does
want to do other things. They don't want to be
still being you know, cast as superhero movies like for

(08:02):
their entire lives. And I think that's where that's where
I pivoted to, is like after Spider Man No Way Home, Yeah, right,
and it's like that is maybe my favorite movie of
all of the MCU movie Wow. And then you have
this and then like the series start and they start

(08:24):
pretty solid, like WandaVision was like it's still fantastic.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Hey, yeah, I love WandaVision. What's the what the Captain
America one?

Speaker 3 (08:33):
What was that with the Culture Falcon and Winter Soldier?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Yes, that was good.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
I thought that was solid, And I thought Hawkeye Loki, Yeah,
it was good. Loki obviously is great. But then you
start like it starts fracturing some and there's so much
to keep up with that it's like okay, if I
haven't seen episode four of season one of WandaVision. I'm

(09:02):
not gonna understand exactly forty minutes into ant Man in
the Wasp. Yeah, right, and so you start, you start fracturing.
You have to pick and choose what you like and
what you don't like. And then you come out of
COVID and I don't this isn't me like like shitting
on anything necessarily because the quality of show is was

(09:24):
just fine. But Miss Marvel, oh gosh, it was so
hard for me as a thirty five year old man
to get through that show because it was like, it
wasn't meant for me. Yeah, but I also know.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
You're gonna need to watch that.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
I need to watch for the Marvels so I get
so I can understand what's coming.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, and I do love that everything is connected. It's
just yeah, the quality of series, the content that we're
getting was just not It was just not the same.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
And now though, yeah, what what has brought you back in?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (10:05):
What brought me back in.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Was literally just the announcement of Robert Downey Junior coming back.
The guy that hooked me from day one has brought
me back in full force.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
And I was just saying like he wants to do
other things. Obviously he's also cool not doing other things.
He's like, no, this is this is, this is different.
So for me, it's Dead Poem Wolverine amazing, Like it's
the first movie that I've seen in the in the

(10:41):
in theaters from Marvel where I was like excited, yeah,
in a in a very long time. Same.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
It was like the just going back to the theater
and having everyone react the same together, like that community feeling,
that connection was just like Phase three. It was like
the same feel. So it was like, here we are
back again. Another movie could do that.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
And the reveal of like just something as simple as
like Chris Evans saying flame on ye and like the
shock and the the like you could feel it.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Bringing Electra back, like the actual actress, what is it,
Jennifer Gardner, Yeah, back as Electra. Like those moments, that
nostalgia that really gets us, right, And I think that's
why you love Spider Man and it's fun.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, fun, Like that's what ultimately these movies and this,
like these franchises are supposed to be. They're supposed to
be fun. Yeah, And it was that and it's and
it is that and the introduction of X Men is exciting,
like yes, like rather than going back and like trying
to figure out like, oh, why does Miss Marvel have

(11:51):
the ten rings? Like no, just just fucking entertain me,
Like yeah, you know, like let's make it.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
When it does all like come together, it does make
it extra special.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Yeah, No, it definitely does. And like there are moments
in like the Marvels that I enjoyed.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah, but I didn't hate the movie because.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
I and I didn't hate it either. But I think
for me, it's like I saw that and I saw
ant Man in Quantum Mania or whatever, and it was
like I found myself waiting for those like just literally
doesn't not even the moments like the cameos, Yeah you
know what I mean, Like I was less interested in
the story than I was like, oh shit, there's there's beast. Yeah, incredible.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
We have been spoiled with cameos, and I think that's
a very dangerous road because it's gonna have to be
a thing with every MC movie now. Yeah, I mean,
with the amount of characters and movies that we have,
I would think it's an easy thing they could do,
but we are definitely that's what we're expecting now.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Right, So well, let's let me ask you coming back?
Is your okay, got it?

Speaker 2 (13:01):
What's yours?

Speaker 3 (13:02):
No, I mean it is. It's it's dead pulling over
and it's it's what is coming. I think Fantastic four.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
That one makes me nervous.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Well, you know the whole deal, right, what's the deal
is that it takes place in another universe.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Yes, it's not.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
It's not part of six one six No. And it's
like it takes it's like way back.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
In the day, in the sixties or something like that.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Right, like take place in the sixties, but it's like
a futuristic sixties. Oh, if that makes sense. And so
that's why.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
And like I'm just I've been so afraid of them
always bringing back Fantastic four because.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
They have they have to held hot garbage.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Yes, every single time, and it's like, yo, you can't
keep doing this. If you're gonna make one, you have
to really give it everything to finally be the one.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
But I think, like, and maybe this is me being naive,
but I think that there have been so many missteps
that the powers that be have come back and then
like like kind of rain things back in. I also
don't think Pedro Pascal, you can do any wrong. That
feels like the most charismatic human being.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Let him take off for sure, and while.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
You know, I'm yeah, me and you both I get it.
I would like to see him without pants on too.
Show show me we.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Are the same, We are the same.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah. And did you see uh Ryan Reynolds this week
what he said he was asked about the thor crying scene.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Oh, that they're going to reveal what they're he's crying about.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
What that actually was? He like had to say a
very tongue in cheek and very carefully and like how
he was going to reveal it when and where it's
got to be. It's got to be one of the Avengers.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Movies and Doomsday or Secret Awards.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
I see. I would guess Doomsday because they're gonna want
to milk Deadpool as much as they as much as
they can.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
And if he dies in Secret Wars then or if
he dies in Secret Wars and isn't able to come
back in Doomsday, right, I mean, that's that's that's where
my my assumption is.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Let me ask you this what movie what MCU movie
was your least favorite because we you and I have
agreed to that.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
We pretty much like all of them.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
We love some, but some are just Okay, what is
your least favorite, well.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
My least favorite for the Dark World, the Dark World.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yeah, we're taking it back to phase two. Brother, No, listen,
what is that Phase one?

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Yeah? I mean that that is that is my that
is my It was just so boring. It was so boring,
and it was when you had to when you really
had to see all of origin. Yeah, and it's like, okay,
it like I think in another life, right, Like when
they first started the MCU, they had to figure out

(16:09):
how to make solo movies that work in a franchise,
Like Iron Man two four two, both those movies came out,
and they were really just vehicles to get you to
the Avengers. Yeah, Like there wasn't really a lot of
like solo plot.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Which I'm sure is really hard to do, is make
something solid, but you are basically making something solid for
the bigger picture, right to fit into the bigger picture
and it all.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Works and make sure that, like cannon wise, you're keeping
track of all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah, dude, because yeah, because these fans be crazy, We're crazy.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Yeah, And we noticed everything.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Ye go back in the Iron Man three and being like, yeah,
that was Peter Parker.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Endgame and be like at Man was small at that
point and you can see him ginormous in the back.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
It was a little and so like you have to
do you have to be careful with that. Wait, so
what's your least favorite?

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Then you know, I wasn't too much of a fan
of Eternals.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Mmmm. Yeah, that's another one where was just real long.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Really long, and it just didn't fit into the vibe
that MCU gives off.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
I didn't like the love scene. I didn't. I just
the only part I liked it was I.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Forgot all I forgot all about them doing sex in
that movie.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Yeah, I did not like that. I was like, Yo,
what the hell's going on here?

Speaker 1 (17:31):
That's That's something that I really appreciated about the MCU
is that most movies we see, there always has to
be a love interest, right, there has to be two
people that.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Like each other. Blah bah blah.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
We kind of got that vibe a little bit with
Black Widow and The Hulk, but it wasn't that was
never the focus. That was never the thing. Yeah, and
then yeah, he didn't really love her. She he didn't
save her.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Hey big guy, Oh sounds going down? Hey big, I
got the chill. It was really long. It was really long.
I forgot about the sex scene and then you look
back at it and like like there's no fucking payoff nothing.
Oh here comes Harry Styles.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
And like like, oh, I can probably the best part
and that's it.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Yeah, that's it, and we're not gonna like you.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
You just and Angelina really that can do no wrong
in my eyes. But still, like, what the hell's up
with this movie?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
I saw Kevin Feigey came out like last week and
he when they were doing Brazil and see you stuff,
and he was like, yeah, we'll be lucky if we
see any of those characters again, because because like all
the all the actors are so famous and their schedules
are all built out too, so it's like we'll be
lucky if we could get any of them back or whatever.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
So just a one off, I guess it's fine. Okay,
So we are in what right in the middle of
phase five?

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Yeah right, and there close us out without Jonathan Major's.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
So he's out. He's actolutely interesting. Okay.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
So the only movie that I haven't seen is Venom
any one that came out the last Dance?

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Have you read anything on it?

Speaker 2 (19:10):
No?

Speaker 3 (19:10):
I haven't seen it either. No, I haven't seen it either.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Okay, so I saw Yeah, I saw mixed reviews. Yeah,
but obviously I need to watch it. Yeah, and that
what I've seen is that there is it. It fits
like a like in a parallel way, and it ends specific,
very specific. I don't know how true this is, but
apparently there's a contract where there has to be a

(19:34):
face off between Spider.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Man and Venom.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Oh oh really, yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
I don't know how true that is. They could be.
That's the thing with the Internet.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Sometimes I get excited about these things, but I'm like,
I don't know if that's actual.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Well, Sony's like pooping their pants to bring Tom Holland
and just close that door. But yeah, and they can't
if they like the Sony part of these Marble properties,
like if Craven, which is out in like a couple
of weeks, if that fails, then they're I have to
go back to the drawing board all over again, because
it's just like the At some point, the studios want

(20:06):
to make money, and Madam Webb didn't.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
I I am that that was an interesting one. I
didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. Yes, well,
it just again didn't feel like an MCU movie to me.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Yeah, and that's that's the problem, is that when you
when you lose that that little we'll just call it
the Disney touch. Yeah that okay, things just go, things
go haywire just write a movie that doesn't make any
sense and doesn't fit into any sort of timeline. It's
just like, oh, well, here we go, this is this

(20:44):
is gonna this is gonna be a good one.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
So how did you feel about Agatha?

Speaker 1 (20:49):
I loved really because I started rough a lot of
people weren't feeling it in the beginning, and that kind
of made me like, oh great, here we go another
one that's not doing well.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
But now that.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
We have, I've been talking about this podcast for the
past few weeks. I was like, let me start watching it.
So I'm halfway through episode two.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
I was I was in like, first line, I think,
I think Catherine Hahn is so good. I love her,
and like it's like to start this show the way
they did, I can see where there would be questions
because it's confusing.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
As I'm like how is going on?

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Like when we started, my wife was like, yeah, I'm
out because it was like I was like, no, this
is this is like how they started Wanda Vision two,
Like that's that's the point. Yeah, And then she was like,
but what is all Replaza doing? Like yeah, when are
we going to see which stuff? And I was like
I'm sure it's on the way. But the trust that
we have, yeah, right, like rightful or not? Yeah, but

(21:50):
I yeah. So I finished it on Friday, Oh and
very satisfying. Ending You're gonna be real real surprised about
episode five okay, and it's like it's funny and it's

(22:12):
i mean all cards on the table. I was a
little intoxicated watching on Friday night, and so the scary
parts I got, I literally got off the couch and
I turned the lights on because I was like.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
I can't do this.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Can you go to the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
I like woke up my kids. I was like, hey,
somebody's got watched me.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Pe good to know because we started watching it with
our three year old and I was like, this can't
be scary.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
I mean it's Agatha and there's some there's some scary moments, man,
but it's been every every episode is like it ends
in suspense and then how it ends overall gives you
a view into what what we're going to see.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Ah, in particular with a set of characters.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Just tell me no, okay, don't ruin it.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
I don't want it.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Okay, I want excited for I was like it for you, right,
I know. I want to have that same reaction you
probably had when you were trying somebody.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
I will say this though, somebody that we were positive
is dead and we're bitch is dead, bitch and even Black.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Widow, even Vision Vision is getting his own show.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
And in the script it says X character dies he
or she may not be and it's a it is
a very in six.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Yeah, and it is.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
But it's somebody who is playing with other other universes too.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Oh damn it. Now, I just want to watch the show.
Leave work and go watch the dang show.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Listen, you can as as the person that makes those
decisions for you.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Shut up. Okay, Let's talk about the what were the
rest of.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
The movies and series that we have left four phase
five because some dates have been pushed, right, yeah, like
Daredevil Born Again.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
It's in March, yes, Yeah, March is.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Blade is still happening.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Blade has been pushed Okay.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
But it's happening because I saw rumors that it might not.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Yeah, it was so it was taken off their schedule,
like the Marvel schedule. But it's but they have confirmed
it's still happening.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
And as far as I know, Mustafa Ali is still
in that role. Okay, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
And I'm so crazy.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
I saw those movies as a little girl, and I'm
just so glad I saw all the.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Blade, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Like I was like, if it wasn't for them just
being on TV and watching it on cable, I would
have never seen those movies because my parents and my
siblings don't give a shit about any of that.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Listen to her, she had cable when she was a kid.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
We were stealing cable. Don't tell nobody. Yeah you know
that little black b no gens to young because you
don't know, she.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Doesn't understand.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
What else you raised that.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
I think they're gonna come after you.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Now now you are stealing internet. In nineteen ninety five, Thunderbolts.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Thunderbolts. I'm I'm really intrigued with Thunderbolts because I don't
know that like any of those characters have really been
fleshed out enough, like outside of.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Bucky, right, Bucky's like the main and we haven't, like.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
We haven't seen the quote unquote New Black Widow in
three years now since Hawkeye came out.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
So it's like, is Helene, what is he? What's her name? Elena?

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Helena?

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Is she supposed to be the new Yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:50):
That is that okay?

Speaker 1 (25:51):
And then we have Ghosts Yeah, and then we have
the Red Guardian Us Agent us Agent.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
I mean, we'll just see because like, like like I said,
those characters aren't quite fleshed out yet, but the casting
is just so good.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Like I know, I like them all, So I don't know,
I feel like that's one that's gonna surprise us.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
I mean I hope, so I can't I can't handle
any disappointment.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
And then we have Captain America Brave New World. That's
that's coming out February next year.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
So there is a whole bunch of reshoots in that.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I saw that and they're like why.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
So they they inserted I guess the movie was like
done and then they decided they wanted to add another character,
and so Giancarlo Esposito, who's in Breaking Bad and oh,
he was in Star Wars Mandalorian, he's in The man Lorian.

(26:56):
So they his character. It was like written into the
movie after the movie was apparently done shooting, and so
a lot of the reshoots were about like his character.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Oh okay, now see I what do you think his
character is going to be?

Speaker 3 (27:12):
I don't know. I don't know, but like that Captain
America world is so grounded in reality that it's hard
for me to believe that he's going to be like Mephisto,
you know what I mean. He's not going to be Magneto. Like,
he's going to be somebody who's very much like of

(27:32):
this planet.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
Do you think they're using that movie to bring in
the X Men?

Speaker 3 (27:40):
I think so, yeah, I think so. I think that's
where I think that's where you really start seeing those
characters move in, because if they're going to turn the
president into a whole yeah, oh like they need they
need help, right, they do. That's the whole that's the
whole deal.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
They're going to need help and Harrison Ford, that's all
I really need for it to be like.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
A good movie seeing somebody with his shirt Off and
Red and Red.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Jena.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
What the hell is freaking nerds?

Speaker 3 (28:14):
What do you mean that's fun? Oh my god? Push
Wood Shipper.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
And then the Fantastic four First Steps July next year. Yeah,
so a lot of good stuff.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
I mean a lot of I mean, you hold your breath,
you you hope for the best, expect the worst.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Oh is iron Heart? That's gonna be a movie, right,
it's a series. It's a series, yea be a series.
And Iron Hearts who we saw at Wakanda Forever.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Yeah, but again, like that's what happens. We do that.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Yeah, we have videos like.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
We're gonna forever. Oh you can't see it, okay, but
this is the this is where we landed in. Like
problems with the m c U. Is that like the
lack of payoff with things like you introduce Ironheart in
Wakanda Forever and then you have to wait five years forever.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
We have to wait forever.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
Literally, m M.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
You didn't like that?

Speaker 3 (29:29):
I'm sorry, no I did. Why would you say that?
Chris Brown Forever?

Speaker 2 (29:33):
What Banie?

Speaker 1 (29:40):
And then Star Wars Hello Crickets, I know, I feel
what the hell.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
It feels like? That's another that's another anblope Taital another time.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
But it's a lot going on with Star Wars too,
But is there.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
I guess we'll get into that. Oh yeah, sisterhood starting
at you. First of all, let's okay, what the hell
are we calling this?

Speaker 3 (30:06):
I like to blip this.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Oh I like that too. I forgot we said that.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
That's what I liked, And I just assume that you
hate everything that I suggest, so I do.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
But just kidding, no, I actually love that because we
are starting pretty late into the game. Oh oh, I
mean the latest Yeah, but almost in phase six.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
This is just as much for us as much as
for anybody else.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
It's really just for us.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
It's a really good opportunity for you and I to talk. Yeah,
we put on the calendar every week and we just
nix SE's that conversation and we just.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Push it a couple minutes and then maybe to the
next day, and then we.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Get it going. Yeah, okay, fair, okay. I think that's good.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Okay, all right, bye bye, Susan.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
