Speaker 1 (00:00):
The podcast. Welcome back to another episode of Petty Ish.
I'm Katie. What's good girl?
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Life is so good it is. How are you feeling
after last week's episode?
Speaker 3 (00:17):
That was I know, I cry, I know, but it
was a it was a good episode. And thank you
for ever everybody for like the positive feedback and stuff
and the kind words. But also, like we said, it's
it's Lupa's awareness a month, so like it's just great
to educate people and what it is and how it
can affect people, especially people that you never expected it
(00:39):
to affect. So yeah, my recovery is still happening. Like
I do physical therapy all the time, trying to take
up like things like stretching classes because my bones get
super like weak and tight, also my hamstrings, and but
I was able to do a lot. My first I
(01:00):
guess welcome back to work was Wango Tango, which was
last weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
That was hot day too. How are you on the beach?
Speaker 1 (01:06):
It was hard?
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Walking in the sand was hard, and the majority of
the time I feel like I sat down other than
when I had to do my stage announcements or do
red carpet. Yeah, but I was just happy to be there,
like that was my goal. I was like, I need
to be able to make it to Wayango.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Tango and it looks beautiful. Oh thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
I don't know thank you, but yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
And then right after that we went to DISNEYLANDU.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Disney's exhausted.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
When you feel healthy, it's hard to walk when your
legs are fine.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
How'd you do it?
Speaker 3 (01:37):
I We were able to do our own thing, so
it wasn't like we were together really, Like only Thursday
was our content day where we had to go actually
like film video, and that only was like an hour
and a half. But Tuesday and Wednesday we really just
stayed at the resort, like walk downtown Disney. We weren't
really in Disneyland or DCA. We did DCA like just
(01:59):
for dinner. But there was a time where I was like, yeah,
I got to piece out, like my legs are feeling
a little weird, like I gotta go.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
But yeah, the.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Majority of time we just hung out around the like
we hung out at the pool at the hotel, like
it was like a good relaxation time. And then we
recorded our shows from our hotel rooms. Like we bought
all of our gear and our microphones and this was
like broadcasting live from our hotel beds.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Like that's crazy perfect, that sounds like a perfect time.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
It was cool.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Yeah, proud of you forgiving.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yourself what you needed and not pressuring yourself to like
need to hang out with and like, you know, act
like you're not you act like you're feeling okay, because
I know you were, Like I don't want to look
like I'm like, give yourself what you need.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
What you need girl, Yeah, I'm not doing that for anybody,
Like if I need to take this time like I
went through something, show freaking drumatic, Like I'm not I'm
not doing that again.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yea, what else happened this week?
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Did I tell you about the plants that I have
in my house? Now?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
I saw on Instagram that you're killing them. Sorry, okay, listen.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
I think this is a beautiful story.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
So this woman that I used to work with for
Hometown Hustler when I was doing that you know segment
from R Secrets, I spotlighted her business when she had
like a mocktail business, and I got to know her
and do social media for her and content and she
also has lupus and so we bonded over that. So
we stayed in touch, like we you know, follow each
other on Instagram. And then when I was going through
(03:22):
everything last month or over the past month and a half,
randomly she messaged me and she was like, hey, Cayla,
I thought of you. I'm revamping my business and going
a different direction. I'm going the construction route and like
decorating and putting foliage in. So basically what she does
is she'll go to office buildings like this and put
plants along, you know, the offices. And it's like, I
(03:42):
don't know what that's called, like plant decorating. I don't know,
but that's what she's doing now. And she was like,
I thought about you. I would love to gift you
with some foliage and some some plants in your house
just because it's so healing.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
And I was like.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Oh my gosh, Like I've always wanted to have some
plants some house, Like yeah, just something that's take care
of other than milo, but like, I don't know, I
just want some life in my house.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
So she came over.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
She brought like some fresh lavender, she brought stage and
then it's like rose type of plant, and gave me
some instructions on how to care for it and where
to put it? You know what sunlight, water, love, and
I don't know it's already dying. Well, well I don't understand.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
I'm dead yet. It's just it can be healed.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
It's just I don't get it. I don't know plants.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
I think so well, I want plants from my home
as well. I haven't gotten them yet, but their names
are Ricky and Lucy when I do get them. And
all I know is like apparently, when you do have
plants and you really do perfect that green thumb, it
does have healing properties. You talk to it, like breathe
life into it, and it'll do the same with you,
obviously not verbally. But I just I really don't have
(04:53):
the green thumb.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I know any sunlight? Is it getting light?
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Well, that's the thing she told me, Like the lavender
one needs to be away from hats because it can
harm them. So she said, why so I put it
on a shelf.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
But my locan jump, Oh you know hey, all right.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
So I put it on a shelf and forgot that, Yeah,
it needs sunlight.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Did you have a balcony a beautiful one?
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Well, I didn't know that it was. I wanted them
to be inside not outside.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Okay, that's fair, that's fair.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
One of them is by my like desk that's near
my back. Either way, I'm I'm messing up.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
But you're a plant mom, and I saw you post
on your story asking for tips. I gave you none
because I don't have them. Did other people with the
actual green thumbs give you give you tips?
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (05:37):
So I talked to some people. And there's actually a
plant app. It's called picture this, and you can take
a picture of the plant. It'll tell you what exactly
it is, how much you need to water it, when
you need to change the soil. It'll like you can
even set reminders of like how to care for it
and yeah, and then also like chatchebte Yeah easy, literally
(05:57):
take a picture, put it in there, it says, oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Okay, So implement those and we'll check in on what's
his name? Did you name them?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
No?
Speaker 4 (06:06):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Well I'll get that. I need to focus on keeping
them alive, all right. Okay, So there's that.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
All right? All right?
Speaker 1 (06:12):
But yeah, that's been a week. Go about you?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Oh god, so much, shoosh. I went to a galla
last night. That was really fun. Sabrina the Teenage, which
his aunt was the host. I think it was Hilda
or Zelda. I don't know which one, but I used
to love that show.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
She was cool. Robin Thick performed, loved him. He was great.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
He's still performing, apparently.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
I'm I.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
I was up there getting it.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
I want a purse that I bid on just to
like not look because I got invited by some woman
who was smoosing.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
And working the room.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
And these were like some Beverly Hills uppity type people
there that you know, not necessarily my crowd. I don't
really know how to connect with them a hundred percent.
So I'm just walking through making bids, acting like I'm
going to buy something, knowing I would get out bid,
and then in the middle of the show to text
my Hala.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
You're a winner. And I paid like over three hundred
dollars for a person that I was.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Just doing for fun. Put you a little sign up.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
But the person's fabulous and I have no regrets for it.
Like It's a great time. A lot of work opportunities
in Vegas. So I've been a little bit back and
forth there and falling in love with Vegas slowly but surely.
Had dinner at the strat the top of the world things.
It's like a restaurant on top of like a really
tall casino hotel, and the restaurant that kind of spins
(07:37):
and you can see all of Vegas landscape and it's
so pretty.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Get a little dizzy, So thank god I didn't drink
any wine at the dinner. Saw a bunch of shows,
met a wonderful person.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Are you in love? No, oh, it looks like you
might be.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
No, no, no, But it's different than what I'm used
to by a lot of factors. There's there's a race difference,
there's an age difference.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
There is a lot of differences.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
So does that scare you?
Speaker 2 (08:12):
It's it's different. I think it's a little it's a
little different.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
That's all I can say.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Like, I don't want to stifle myself or block myself
from anything, so I'm open to this. H But all
in all, it's just nothing I've ever really done before,
and nothing I was even looking for just kind of
fell in my lap. Not not literally, but I was
just I'm exploring and I'm excited.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
So what are like some of the noticeable noticeable differences.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Uh, there's age, there's rays, He's actually like.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
White hmmm, yumman.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
And last time I had a white boyfriend, it didn't
go so well.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
So I told him this, like, this is what I
had to deal with last time, and this is what
I'm not dealing with. This is I don't date out
of my race typically because I don't want to explain myself.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
And this is things I've been through.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
And he was like, if that was me in that situation,
I would have handled it like this.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
He graduated from Harvard. He also went to Dartmouth. He's
so smart, he's so successful and darkness. See what happens.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
But not to say that my roster's clear, because I
still love my others look at me.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Anyway thinking outside of that, because that's some bullshit.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Okay yo, I had the most embarrassing thing happened to me.
I don't know if this is the whole thing is petty,
but Jesus, I accidentally called my ex and so I
was at Disney the way the way that I want
to tell the story, it's gonna sound like I did
this on purpose, like there's no way, there's no way
I believe, but I promise, I promise you.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
I have no idea how this fuck this happened.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
I think if you would have did it on purpose,
you would have admitted to it, so I know it
wasn't that.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
So I was walking around in Disneyland on a random Thursday.
It was like one o'clock, and I have my phone
in my hand, along with a lot of other things.
So I'm carrying a lot of stuff. I'm walking with EJ.
We're talking, we're key king. I'm not paying attention to
the fact that my phone is unlocked. I looked down
all of a sudden, and it's dialing his number, and
(10:28):
it's like it's like and I'm looking at the number.
At first, I'm like, oh, is this telemarketer? And then
I'm like reading the number and I was like, I
know that number. What is happening? And then it said
two seconds on the phone or whatever. So but then
I heard the like a woman's voice. So he sent
me to voicemail. But in my mind, I'm like, wait
did he call me?
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Like wait, well, held it could have rang and went
to voicemail, because like when it's always only starts counting
after the pickups, you don't know if it was ringing
the entire time, and then.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
Just went to voicemail.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
I don't that's that's not that you know matter, dude,
because it was an accident, but.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
It wasn't a park, but he did. It's not confirmed
that you were denied, Okay.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
So yeah, and so I cooked and my mom, I'm like,
did he call me? But then I was like, no,
I blocked him a year and a half ago. There's
no way he can contact me. So I look and
it said it was an outgoing call. So I definitely
called him, and I'm I'm everything just goes blank.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah, mind you. I have not talked to him in
a year and a half.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
We haven't talked very kindly about him on patty Ish. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
The only time that we are like can communicate with
each other is through my dad.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Like that's how it was established when we broke up.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
So if he needs me for anything with any like
paperworker bills and vice versa, like, we have to.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Go through my dad.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
So there's there's no us speaking right right, And I'm like,
how did this happen? He's not in my recent call logues,
so there's just no way it could just I could
just accidentally, like you know what I mean, you.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Didn't even have the number saved because you're saying, look,
you had to look at the number.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
It was right, it was his numbright.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
So what I think happened was I had saved to
voicemail just in case I needed receipts for anything, and
I think I accidentally somehow got to the voicemail like
I was that my phone was and a dial. That's
what I still I don't know. I don't know, but
it was like the trippiest thing. And I'm like, yo, fuck,
he like thinks that I want to get in contact
(12:20):
with him, Like I don't know, like what, I just
all these things in my head and I was like,
man like, and I just want to go. I was like,
oh man, the first thing he's probably gonna do is
go and look at my page. I just went on
a blocking spree of anybody that associated with I don't know,
because I just want nothing to do with this situation.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
But now, like in his.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Head, it's like, oh, okay, let's reaching out to me
after a year and a half, she misses me or
some shit.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Did you text him? Like but accidentally?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
So sorry, absolutely not, absolutely not, And I hate it all.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
I hate it. I hate that it happened. I'm so sorry.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
It's cringe.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Yeah, it's ring. So sorry, so sorry.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
I don't know what to do.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Well, you went on the blocking spree. Somebody might listen
to patiation. Let him know, Like, girl, you shan't call
you calm down, that's all.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
When I went to Vegas, I had to catch a
lot of ubers because I didn't rent a car because
I'm not really an adult for real, pro I bake
like an adult. So I had this uber driver who
pretty much picked me up. We had great conversation though,
but she took just awful ways, like added so much
time to the trip that didn't even need to be added.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Really sweet woman, but picked me up at the wrong location.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
I had to walk like two blocks to get to her,
and then dropped me off at the wrong location. So
although we had good conversation and connected, I still gave
her one star.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
I mean, she didn't get you to the correct destination.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Sorry, that's always like so a weird A tough spot, right,
So it's like he's so kind and nice, but you
did so bad. Did I tell you about the time
that my mom hired a housekeeper for me when I
was sick and because I couldn't clean my house.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
No, you posted on your story and I'm like, who's
your cleaner? Because I want somebody to come and see
clean house. And you didn't respond because they were getting
the fun out of your stairs. Like I was like, yeah, yeah,
so that that was that was the that was the carpet.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
They were great. I can give you their information. But
I also had a housekeeper come. She was supposed to
be doing a deep clean, and she was so sweet,
she was so nice, but she did terrible Like why
are why you you? You cleaned the fridge, but you
didn't even do like the shelves in the fridge, she
didn't clean the doors, Like I'm seeing all these things
that she missed, like she didn't even do this, this,
this and this, and I'm like, yo, I can't, I
(14:28):
can't tip you like as nice and great conversations we had.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Yeah what I what I pay one hundred and eighty
dollars for.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
That bad deep clean? Yeah? Oh she wasn't good, but
she was so I got to find somebody. I got
to find somebody. But interesting, okay, yeah, be's like that sometimes.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Yeah, girl, So I don't know you've been here about
this tea with Tory Lanes, girl have There's been a
lot of stuff in the news this week with Diddy,
Hallie Bailey and DDG, Tory Lanes, Chris Brown and jail
what's going on?
Speaker 2 (14:58):
The abuse users on my timeline are definitely exposing themselves,
so I'll tell you that much.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
So basically with Megan the Stallion and the Tory lane situation,
the bodyguard for Megan the Stallion came out and is
now saying he allegedly overheard Kelsey admit that she was
the one that shot Megan as he was driving her
to and from I guess like the court during the
trial she said, yeah, I was the one that shot
(15:25):
Megan three times and Tory grabbed my arm and uh yeah,
or try to slap the gun out of her hand.
So also, Tory Lanz was recently stabbed in prison too.
He got like stabbed fourteen times and then that was
a thing, which is crazy.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
So yeah, for me, I thought we already knew this.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
I thought it was already established and everybody was already
like saying this too, like we knew that it wasn't
all like Tory Lanez did not say, like dance bitch,
Like we knew that there was a witness during the
trial who said that two women were arguing and wrestling
and then then the gunshot went off, like that we
already established that. But he's not in jail for shooting
(16:09):
Meghan the Stallion. He's in jail for violating his promotion
and having a gun possession a gun. He's not at
all in there for actually shooting her. But yeah, so
that's there's like a change dot org petition coming out
saying that, like.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Free Torri, but like that's not I don't that's not
gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
So I don't think I knew that it was confirmed
that he didn't shoot her, and I also didn't know
that he wasn't in a job for shooting her. I
was just I just felt like if that was the
case where Kelsey did shoot Megan, I thought that probably
would have came out sooner, Like why wouldn't Tori say
(16:49):
that during the trial, But you're saying that that was
out and that is known.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
And also, like, you know, she asked for immunity before
she took the stage, Kelsey, Yes, she did, you know.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
I listen, I watched the case. Listen to it.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
So this case wasn't really my jam. I didn't really
follow it the way I'm following Cassie.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Yeah, and I love Megan thee Stallion, but there was
some there's a lot of confusion about that night. And
I'm not the biggest Tory fan, but like she before
she got on the stage, she wanted to ask for
full immunity so that if anything else came out, she
would never be held accountable. She also, let's listen to
this audio that allegedly DJ Academic or Jason Lee. You
(17:29):
can't always believe everything that he says, but this is
what Tory Lanez apparently said to Jason Lee.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
In the text message between Tory and I.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
I said, how are you?
Speaker 5 (17:40):
How you been He said, incredible, in very high spirits
and preparing to physically come home this year. I said,
when I need to get I need to come in
there and get an interview.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Lol.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
He said, I can't say exact days, but I know
I'll be home this year. I said, how long you
been gone? I'm so confused by your case. He said, actually,
I have a crazy plan when I get back that
I think you should know and be a part of.
Because I'm only going to do one interview, and he
say he's been going two and a half years.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
I said, I want to be a part of that plan.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
He said, it's honestly a bunch of suppressed evidence that
was kept away from me during trial. I said, Whack
told me that, but didn't say what he said. Like
through trial, they keep saying I was it was inconclusive
on the gun DNA, but I always knew I never
touched the gun. So I asked my lawyer to retest it,
and sure enough I was one hundred and two percent
excluded completely from everything.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Just like I said.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
I said, well, why didn't you just say who did it?
Speaker 6 (18:33):
Fuck?
Speaker 5 (18:34):
Doing time for something you ain't do? He said, I
took the rap for Kelsey. Never wanted her to go
to jail, and I never wanted Megan to get hurt
or anything, so in me stopping her from getting shot,
I got the raw deal. Crazy how life works. And
to think they made me the poster boy for the
unprotection of black women when in all honestly I protected
two black women, one from getting shot and one from
(18:56):
going to jail. Never said nothing in eight to ten
years for them to live. It's a crazy, crazy place
we live in. I said, but why you ain't just
say that, nigga? When I got shot, I told and
he said, I lost my mother at eleven years old.
I couldn't sleep with myself. I was the reason for
taking a mother away from her kid. I just couldn't do.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
It, Okay.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
So I mean there's a lot too that everybody has
their difference opinion. Also, the thing that confuses me is
like if you don't and why I'm so confused. If
you didn't shoot Meghan, then why did you say on
the jail call phone, I'm so sorry?
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Like what were you apologizing for?
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Right? Right?
Speaker 2 (19:36):
You know it wasn't he kind of like tearing Meghan down
and bashing her character when it first came out, as
opposed to being like, this fucked up thing did happen
to her? I didn't do it, but like he was
kind of like framing her to look a certain way.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
And I just think if you weren't innocent in.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
The whole thing, right, you weren't innocent in the whole
thing by the way you played after the fact, and
you weren't really apologetic until after you were found guilty.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
And it's just Ooh, it's just a messy situation that
keeps getting messy.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
It's just it's distasteful. But we don't know one hundred
percent would happen. But I'm just saying I don't believe
one d it happened the way Megan thinks it happened.
I think I think Kelsey needs to be locked up.
I'm sorry, I think she needs She's the I really
truly believe from listening to like the court, from reading
the the court transcripts, like Kelsey had that gun, she
(20:25):
was the one that got it out of the car.
She was the one that went back there and got
it because she and Megan were, you know, tussling like
something's not right.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
So I don't know, have you been following this didny
thing girl? Yes, the mess that keeps on messing. First
of all, I just want to really say at the
top of this, I do not find the Cassie jokes
on social media going around funny at all. I also
judge every single person quite harsh it. That's like, she's
not a victim, she didn't leave. When these people are
(20:52):
the same people that are like I hate my job,
I hate this, I hate that, and don't change a
damn thing. So who are you to judge this woman
in the city. She wanted, the money, she wanted, the
she's allowing this. I would never shut the fuck up.
You probably wouldn't be invited in those rooms, first of all.
Second of all, who are you.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
That's a good analogy for you. I didn't think about
it that way. Like the job situation.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
People complain about shit all the time that they don't change,
and you expect this woman, nineteen year old girl to
make decisions when a forty year old, the almost forty
year old powerful ass man is controlling your money, controlling
your livelihood, controlling what you want out of this life.
And you're like, oh the second, shut the fuck up. Yeah,
and then also, I mean, go ahead, give the rundown.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
And then I also no, I mean basically, everybody knows
pretty much about the case. Cassie has been testifying for
the past I think three days. They wanted to get
her done it out of the way because you know,
she's eight months pregnant and there was a possibility of
that if she went into labor without finishing her testimony,
that there will be a mistrial. So that's why they're
(21:51):
trying to get it done, it out of the way.
But yeah, there was just a lot that was said.
What's heartbreaking to me also was that the twins, the
kids were there, his twin girls. Yeah, and I know
at some point that they had to get up and
leave and then come back, and then leave and then
come back because some things were just too much. I
don't I personally don't think that they should have been
(22:12):
there in the beginning. I think that's very manipulative and
egotistical and Diddy's part to have. He wants this united
front that his family has, but he's a family man.
You're subjecting your kids to hearing about all the nasty
things that you have done and not even caring about
how that could traumatize them.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Right right.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
And I understand wanting to look like a family man,
and I'm sure you are something to your kids that
you know the world doesn't know and the world doesn't see.
And I understand you wanted to play that up. But again,
I agree with you one thousand percent. The trauma that
he's causing to these children and trying to make himself
look innocent is just unfair.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
To say the least.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
And a lot of these videos are coming around about
his past. There is a fake video that I fell
for off him saying happy birthday to himself and.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
A man's screaming but preak golf in the background.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
Somebody being tortured.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
But yeah, the video of him doing like interviews and
with Mike Tyson and Mike Tyson like moving his hand
away and continue in the interview and did He's just
been apparently a really bad guy for a long time.
Reading into this, it's sickening, it's heartbreaking. I really don't
understand the victim blaming and the feeling bad for her
(23:20):
husband when she's talking about everything done to her.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Yeah, so that for her husband, No.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Not you, I'm saying those social media Yeah, so people
are No.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
I think people are more so wondering how he feels
because there was one testimony where she admitted to cheating
on him with Diddy. She and Alex Fine had just
started dating, and did he like came back around they
met up. I guess she wented closure and what happened
was did he raped her on the floor and then
(23:50):
later that night they went out to dinner and then
had consensual sex. And during the consensual sex, Alex, her
now husband, facetimed them while they were in the middle,
while they were having sex, and of course she didn't
answer obviously seven tucks.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
So Alex is in the courtroom hearing this. I'm sure
it's not the first time that he's hearing. I'm sure
she'd right. I would hope so. But people were like, oh,
just are on social media, like, man, I wonder how
you know Alex feels after this. People like they're probably
gonna get a divorce after this. But I don't think so.
I think Cassie, I would hope probably you know, spilled
(24:24):
it all out to him or knows everything.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
He's a good man, Savannah.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
He made a statement, he said, over the past five days,
the world has gotten a witness the strength and bravery
of my wife freeing herself of her past. There's been
speculation online surrounding how it must feel for me to
sit there and listen to my wife's testimony. I've felt
so many I have felt so many things sitting there.
I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for cass
(24:49):
I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected
to sitting.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
In a room in front of the person who tried
to break her.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
So to him and all those who helped him along
the way, please know this, you didn't know. You did
not break her spirit, nor her smile that lights up
her that lights up every room.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
You did not break the soul of her.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
You do not break the souls of a mother who
gives the best hugs and the place to the silly
on plays the silliest games with our little girls. You
did not break the woman who has made me a
better man. And I think that that's just so supportive,
so love. That's a healing, beautiful love to just probably
share the most embarrassing things that you've been through because
(25:28):
you know it is, it's awful and it's embarrassing, and
have somebody love you even more through that is just
such a blessing.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
I hope now she can like let all of this go.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
I guess like she's about to give bert her a
third child now that she finally testified and it is
done and over with. I hope that she can, you know,
move on and find peace. And Yeah, it's also very
sad what people are saying. I'm watching there's TikTok lives,
people having whole discussions about how got Cassie is not
a victim, and that she was a willing participant in that.
You know, she consented to a lot of this stuff.
(25:59):
And that's where the topic of like is it really rico,
is it really human trafficking? Or is it just domestic violence?
Cory and I have been following a lot of journalists
who have been in the courtroom, even Laura La Rosa
from The Breakfast Club who said that, you know, Diddy,
his defense is doing a good job, Like they're proving, yes,
it's showing he's a shitty ass person he did you know,
he was an abuser, But does this prove that he guilty?
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Was trafficking?
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Right?
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Right, right right?
Speaker 1 (26:26):
That is what that.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
We have like seven more weeks left, so you know,
we'll see, but like I don't know, we'll.
Speaker 4 (26:33):
See what happens.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
I definitely I am excited, not excited, that's not the right word,
looking forward to see Dawn Richards's testimony because I was
a Danity co Danity Kane fan, you know, I was.
I can't think of the songs right now, but I
do love them. And she's supposed to testify, and she
had some things to say about Diddy before.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Yeah, she and Aubrio Da, but I think Aubreo Day
backed out her. So I don't know, oh dish it, Yeah,
I'm not sure, but I know Don went for five
minutes on Friday and only or thirty minutes and basically
said that he witnessed Didy attacking Cassie over not bringing
his food or something like that, and like try to
hit her with a pot or something like the skillet.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
I mean to see the video of her physically trying
to leave, and like her saying that she wanted to
throw herself into traffic and just seeing what happened to her.
Maybe it does to equate to a violent domestic violence
and not rico. However, all of it equates to a
man that needs to be in jail and not allowed
around women.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Well yeah, and even even if he gets out, he's
still gonna get girls. He's I think he's done for.
I think he needs to go into hiding. No one's
gonna want associate with him, Like he might as well
go to jail, like he's he's never gonna be on
any award show stage anymore with all of his honor,
like he's done.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
No, Yeah, I think his reputation is done.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
I also just think that you know, women right men
in jail that have committed awful crimes. I think as
far as his love life, he'll be fine, unfortunately, because
there are women out there that need a lot of
healing and maybe some men because he likes in both ways.
According to this trial, domestic violence is never okay, bringing
us to DDG and Holly.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Ally Hallie Bailey, what the fuck? And it sucks because
I like DDG.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, I've become like a Twitch watcher recently, so I've
been watching like a lot of Kai Sanat and like
a lot of streams.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
Really yeah, I have had on Twitch.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
The app, but I've had a lot of downtime just
being in like bed, you know. And I really love
watching Kai and his friends. And DDG is somebody that
I enjoy watching as well, and especially with him and Halo,
I loved seeing their content together. He seems like he's
a really active father and very you know, very loving father.
But damn, as soon as all this stuff came out,
like fuck, you know, yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
I saw the bruises, I saw the chip tooth, and
I and it is something to be respected about DDG.
You know, he was class valedictorian. He built himself up
as a YouTube star. So although he isn't on the
level of the celebrity that Miss Bailly is one, he's
built himself up in his own right and and made
himself successful in his own right and for every black
(29:05):
person that is trying to make it and does just that.
But when you do something like this, it just I
think that his insecurities kind of showed throughout their relationship.
And unfortunately, insecure men are just very dangerous because we
just can't match up to them as far as this
strenth is concerned. But to be emotionally, physically, and I
think mentally, was that the case abusive? It's unacceptable, especially
(29:27):
to the mother of your child. What are you teaching
your son? You know, they're just absorbing their sponges at
this state. And did this abuse happen in front of
the baby? Like was it before the baby? I don't,
I don't, I don't have the answers, but either way, well, I.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Think also was weird too, she he like broke into
her house, took a picture of her empty bed and
was like, Okay, I know what you want now, bet
Like weird thinking that she was out with another man,
and so you could see the patterns of like, you know,
the anger of you know, not being together anymore. And
then yeah, apparently you know, the incident where he slammed
her head again and the steering will was in front
(30:01):
of Halo Eila was in the backseat of the car,
and so all that happened. I don't know, it's just
really it's just really sad because like Hallie had such
a like a good image, you know what I mean,
She's a freaking little mermaid.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
She's so freshest.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
But then there's people online trying to say that, like,
you know, she isn't really that.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
She is very aggressive.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
She's talked about in YouTube videos how like in her
past relationship she was always the problem. She's in aries
and I kinda test we a little bit much. But
it doesn't matter, even at the end of the day,
like the bruises are there, like, it doesn't it doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
Oh, nobody's one hundred percent sweet, nice and kind all
the time. That's just not real.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Of course, I personally believe that, you know, if you
have a really really really sweet side, your bad side
or mean side is probably just as intense but on
the opposite end of the spectrum, I also think that.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
You know me.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
You poke a bear, Poke a bear, poke a bear,
and then I react. Now I'm the asshole because I
may have taken it a little bit too far, but
I was chilling.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
You kept poking me. Now I'm reacting. Now I'm the asshole.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Also, as somebody who has got a restraining order against somebody,
temporary restraining orders are pretty easy to get.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
They pretty much just give it to you.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
The final restraining order is the one that you really
have to prove that you are in danger.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
This person is a danger to your to your well being.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
So what do they have.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
They got the temporary one, which just goes to court
and says this person's uncomfortable that they'll give you on
for like three weeks, four weeks until your next court
date when you're supposed to get the final one, which
is where you have to be like, this person is
not safe for me to be around. I am scared
of what this person can potentially do to me. Yeah,
So if he gets the final restraining order against him, guilty, guilty, she.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
Is asking for a lot.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
Well, one he has to say, one hundred yards away
from her and HEYLO can't do house vehicle, can't call her.
But she's requesting soul custody, not even like joint custody.
Like he only gets one visitation a week, but it
has to be revised with somebody. You can't take Halo
outside of La County. She has to ask He has
(32:07):
to ask her for permission for almost everything, Like she
has a laundry list of things that she is requesting
to be permanent.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
I guess we'll be following and we'll see what happens.
But this was a heavy week in the news. I
know it's kind of triggering for a lot of people
who have experienced domestic violence or I've experienced I guess abuse.
So I would just honestly take a detox and a
step away, because I don't think any of these cases
are going anywhere anytime soon. This stuff is going to
be on our face and it becomes a little bit
(32:37):
overwhelming after after a time, it's like, oh, I just
want to stay on my shell.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
These men are terrible.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
Yeah, I think since I got sick or whatever, like
I have done a great job of I don't know,
because social media was a lot for me while I
was just like laying in bed and that's all I
was doing, and it was like a feel like it
was just taking over me and just whatever. So I
did a really good job of deleting the app, yeah,
and refocusing my brain on something else. I think that's
(33:04):
it added to my healing for sure.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Honestly, I think that this this, this this social media
thing and the news thing on what's you know, the
latest with people we don't really know in real life,
don't really affect our day to day, really does take
away from our health and our mental health. And yeah,
so I need to de talk to I need a
good book, a good feel good show because this is a.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
Lot, a whole lot super heavy watch forever on Netflix.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
I've heard so many about it. Did you love it?
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Yes, it's so cute and both of the couples are
so they're just so cute and so pretty. But it's
like black love, I blave it's cute.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Well, will you give me a petty award to this week?
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Okay, so I'm gonna give mine to the eleven inmates
that escape from jail in New Orleans. I don't know
if y'all saw this, but I don't even know how
they got out, but they did. It was like through
some type of window and they were able to it.
Must not have high security there. But before they left,
they wrote on the walls, too easy, l L get
(34:01):
the fuck out of here. That is so we innocent,
it is. I think they're still I think they caught one,
but the rest are still on the run. Jesus, run niggas,
run for y'all.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Y'all.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
It's awful.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
So this one's a little bit old, but we haven't
been on the microphone in a little bit and this
really did bother the hell out of me.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
So did you see Kevin Gates trolling Savannah and Lebron?
Speaker 1 (34:28):
No?
Speaker 4 (34:28):
Okay, So Kevin Gates pretty much.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
Said that he doesn't like the way Savannah looks at Lebron.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
I like the way white women look at him. Just
how the conversation came up.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
We're just looking at like couples and people in the league. Nick,
we was talking about how Lebron do the handshake with Savannah,
and then I came I was like, maybe I noticed
shit that people don't notice. But I'm like they was
(35:06):
like talking about what if you had Lebron money I'm like, man,
he one of the greatest players to ever play the game, right,
but I wouldn't want to trade places with him.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
And they was like, why not, Hawaii, you wouldn't win
a baby.
Speaker 6 (35:23):
I say, because I don't like the way Savannah look
at Lebron.
Speaker 4 (35:30):
I like the way them white women look.
Speaker 6 (35:31):
At Lebron as soon as he walk out that they
just be like.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
They be dicked out.
Speaker 6 (35:40):
But it's like I noticed when he goes through the
handshake with the main player on his team, which is
that it's like you act like I'm bothering you bitch,
Like I'm the greatest player in the world of them,
(36:01):
like top five, top teen, I'm one of them, and
I'm in the playoffs, and you act like you act
like the ward another jail, like you came here to
publice me, like you ain't like you not dick thout
like the white women.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
This dick thoubt about me in Hill.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
First of all, Kevin Gates needs to focus on the
fact that he is cheating on his wife with Brittany Reiner,
who all of a sudden became Muslim, and now he has.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
Allegedly two wives.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
He needs to handle whatever the fuck he got home
at whatever fuck he has going on home. Also, Savannah
has been with him since high school. She's not a fan.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Exactly, you know, that's his wife, Like this is our
pure narcissistic like what the what?
Speaker 2 (36:47):
So Lebron clapped back very classically and very subtly. He
posted on his instagram. I don't know what he posted
on his instagram. Kings don't concern themselves with the onions
of heasants.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
That's a fact.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
And he posted a picture of Savannah looking at him
very lovingly.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
And it was absolutely beautiful.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
So Kevin Gates then went to a Lakers game and
set courtside with Brittany, who's garbed up and trying to
say like this is how your relationship should be.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
This bye the like no, Like why do you need
constant admiration?
Speaker 4 (37:25):
That's weird. You don't need constanturation.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
I think it's super petty for you to come to
Lebron's game with your with Brittany comparing her to Savannah,
Like les balls.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Right there, and then that is so petty. That's funny,
that is funny.
Speaker 4 (37:37):
But like why do you bother Lebron?
Speaker 2 (37:39):
And why are you thinking you flexing with Brittany, right,
come on, stop it fun.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
Wasn't she like the ultimate ho back in the day?
Speaker 4 (37:46):
I think she was pretty close to it? So go off, though, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
So that's why petty of award to Kevin Gates, Because
why you Lebron's mind of his business being the goat
as you say, and you're trolling him in Savannah for
a why?
Speaker 1 (37:58):
I think I like yours the best?
Speaker 2 (38:00):
But all right, petty, now let's get into petty mail.
Dear Kayla and Kayla, Tonight will be my third date
with this guy I recently met. He's forty, I'm thirty five.
Every single time we have agreed to hang out, he
doesn't plan the date. He just asked me what I
want to do, which feels like he forces me to
plan our dates. I personally hate that and wish he
(38:22):
would take more initiative. Also, he's already calling me baby.
He's foreign and only been in this country for nine months,
so it could be a language barrier, or maybe he's
really not knowing the US culture. I'm not sure, but
should I continue seeing him or not? Should I say something?
I don't like the indecisiveness and I don't like him
(38:42):
relying on me to plan everything.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
I started talking to this guy like back in December,
and he called me baby after like like the first day.
He's but he's Latino, right, And I had asked some
of my Latino friends. I was like, I'm not used
to that, Like I'm not his baby. I'm like there
was like, that's just part of our cultures, like we
are very endearing, You're my baby, my mea more like
(39:05):
stuff like that. So I don't think it's a language barrier.
I think it's just some people that's their culture. Yeah,
because I had the same thing.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
I had met a Dominican man not too long ago
who caught my love I love you, I like you,
I love you, I like you, and it was it was,
it was. It was off putting for me, yeah, because
I also didn't feel those.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
Feelings for him.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
And he wore a wedding ring and told me that
he only wore because it matched his necklace.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
So goodbye, goodbye.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
But so the baby thing, I get how that could
be off putting. I do think it's a cultural thing
if he is of the Latin culture. But the planning
the dates thing, I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
I don't either.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
I just I will love a man that can just
be like, all right, this is what we're doing at
nine o'clock.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
Be ready, I'll have a car waiting for you.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
Like, have you experienced that? No?
Speaker 3 (39:54):
I actually haven't. I'm not not a car waiting. No,
I be ready at nine type of situation. But no,
not anybody picked me up in a car now.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
No, No, I can't say I've experienced somebody planning.
Speaker 4 (40:05):
I mean it's like meet me here at this time.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
I've had somebody plan my dates, but it wasn't as
well thought out as get dressed and surprised, like, oh I.
Speaker 4 (40:14):
Know where we're going one day. Thank you, thank you
for this again.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
I think it's just about what she wants, right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
And I think communication's key and if he abides by
your communications, then great. If not, then yeah, maybe he's
not the one for you. But I guess won't see
what happens girl, let us know. Yes, all right, we out.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
Thank you guys so much for listening, thoughts opinions on
any of the topics.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
You can always dms at the Pettyish Podcast. Yeah we out.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
Bye,
