Speaker 3 (00:44):
Lee Sterling.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
We are brought to you by the Fan Dual Sportsbook
at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. Now, normally you're hearing our
voices at seven o'clock Pacific time on a Friday night.
We were preempted due to Washington Huskies game versus Rutgers
last night, so we're doing it on a Saturday morning.
We will be back to every Friday night seven o'clock
(01:08):
Pacific time ten o'clock on the East Coast starting next Friday.
All right, Lee, let's get right into it, and we
have an unbelievable weekend and I can't wait.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
So here's what we got.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Let's start with you and the Florida Gators who are
on the road in College Station at the home of
the twelfth man Kyle Field against Texas A and M.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Texas Ay and M. I mean fans are delusional. I
mean you go to their game, you would think that
they've won fifteen national titles. Their banned. They think that
their core. These guys are better than the Air Force.
Aren't in our army and also Navy. They're nice. I mean,
it's a nice team, it's a nice university to see once,
(01:58):
but it's not that intimidating one hundred thousand fans, be
honest with you. A hard rock with sixty five thousand
sans Husky Stadium more intimidating here. So what his turn
Florida around? First off, it's Dallas Wills, the wide receiver.
He played in the spring game. Saw this guy had
like ten catches and I'm like, this kid's a stud.
(02:19):
Did not play until last week. Told everyone about him.
They're young at receiver, they're talented here, and I think
they're gonna be able to score road to mid twenties
and that might be enough. Why watching tape of Marcel Reid.
Marcel Reid look great for a while, then all of
a sudden, the last two games twenty eight for forty
(02:40):
five just sixty two percent for three hundred and eighty
seven yards combined in the last two sec games, two
touchdowns and two interceptions. What's going on with him? If
you want to pop in the tape, go to YouTube
watch the last two games on his five and seven
step drop. He's taken two extra short steps and that
(03:01):
extra half second to second is costing him in completions,
and he's throwing the ball late. He's throwing the ball high,
had a couple of interceptions here, so he is just
not playing at a high level here. A and M
just five and fourteen against the spread. As a favorite,
this Florida team wouldn't want to play him right now,
(03:22):
so they are rolling. Looks like Sunbelt Billy saved his job.
I don't know if they're gonna win out right. I
think Texas A and M steals the game twenty four
to twenty but seven and a half points one too much.
Florida Gators plus the points.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
All right is another thing too. We got some time
to talk. In this first segment, those yell leaders are scary.
They're almost as scaryly as Disney adults. You ever see,
I mean you live down in Florida, I used to
you ever heard of Disney adults?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
That's a next level.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, that's a next level creeping, cringey adults who really
act like their little kids, and they go to Disney,
and they go to Disney a lot. They're called Disney adults.
Yell leaders are almost as creepy and cringy as Disney adults.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Okay, did they run from ride to ride to try
to get there as quickly as possible? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah, they do that. And then.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Yeah, there's some sort of arrested development that in their
you know, lifetime that they never quite and listen, Hey.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
I love amusement parks as much as the next guy.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I actually do. I mean, when it comes to rides,
I am a thrill seeker. There's no doubt about it.
Being a Disney adult, it's a little bit different. It
just kind of and the yell leaders, that's a little
they've been around since the nineteen hundred's and they I
don't know, it's it's a Texas a and M. It's
they say it's like a cult down there. Now you've
been a games down there. I never have. I'd love
(04:56):
to go to a game down there. But I will
say this, my Elco and Marcel Reid heat in his
second year, has turned that program around. And I gotta
tell you, I mean, I mean, they've got a tough schedule,
you know, the remaining games of the season. I don't
see a scenario where Texas A and M is not
(05:18):
in the college football playoffs. I think they're gonna be
in the final twelve to make the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
I would agree with you. I think it's a good call.
Elko is a defensive coach. Remember defensive coaches, you know,
guys like Lane Kiffin. Uh, they're gonna want to extend leads,
you know, they want they want blowouts here. Mike Elco,
it's just not in his DNA. So I've been to
games there. I went to Southwest Texas State now Texas
State played football there. I've seen Texas went to Texas
(05:46):
and Texas. Uh, you know, Texas A and M games there,
and it's fun to visit. But it is kind of
like a cult. You know, they're they're indoctrinated and they
think that that is the mecca. And you know what
they do they have They don't even have conference flags.
They have flags for when they beat like other opponents.
(06:06):
So nice team. I think they're gonna be. I think
they're gonna be. I think they're gonna be in the playoff.
I think they're love both through their receivers. I love
the transfer receiver they got from Mississippi State, Craver love
conception owned from from North Carolina State. The problem is
they're like two like the same receivers. They they need
some guys in the red zone that can go up
(06:28):
and make catches, you know, on some some takeoff patterns
and some crossing patterns near the end zone. Don't think
they quite have it. I think they're very good, but
I think it's right now in my opinion, and being
a Miami fan, I think it's Ohio state number one.
You might differ from me, Oregon two, Miami three, and
(06:49):
then there's a big difference from those three to the
next group of teams.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Absolutely all right.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
So with that being said, we're gonna stay in the
SEC for my pick here on the first segment of
Picking the Locks this week, and we're gonna go to
good old Rocky Top, Rocky Top, Tennessee, and we're gonna
look at the Arkansas Razorbacks and interim head coach Bobby
Petrino and Taylon Green on the road in Knoxville in
(07:16):
front of one hundred and twelve thousand people screaming Rocky
Top in orange and white. Now on the season when
it comes to over under Arkansas on the season four
and oh on overs Tennessee on the season four and
oh on overs.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Now, this is a huge number.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
And but the one thing about Patrino, He's gonna he
will not leave any stone unturn. He will throw the
kitchen sink at Tennessee. Defense will be optional Arkansas. Here's
here's why they're the perfect team, and this is the
perfect scenario. They can score in bunches, and yet they
can give up even more points because they don't have
(07:59):
a defense. Tennessee defense's suspect as well. Even with Joey
Aguilar as their quarterback, he's great. They can score, but
they can't really, they don't have a Florida Gators type
defense in the SEC. I'm going over. I think this
game that both teams at halftime will combine for at
(08:19):
least forty five to fifty two points. It's sixty nine
and a half the current number. I'm going over on
this one. Bet it now, thank me later, all right, Lee?
Speaker 4 (08:33):
The next week, going way up, Mark, way way up.
I would suggest everyone get it right away. I mean,
and we've seen totals anything sixty five or above, like
seventy five percent of the time goes over. You don't
want to wait until write for the game. Bet it now.
It could be end up seventy two to seventy three,
it could close.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
All right, Well, Lee, I know you've got a big
one on Sunday and a team who lost their first
game of the year on the d in lambeau Field
to the Green Bay Packers.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
The Detroit Lions are red hot.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
They have won four in a row and they're facing
a reeling Kansas City Chiefs team who are two and
three after coming off a heartbreaking loss where they blew
the lead on Monday Night versus Trevor Lawrence, Travis Hunter
and the Jacksonville Jaguars Lions on the road, Arrowhead, It
is a It's the Sunday Night Game on NBC with
(09:26):
Tell Rico excuse me, Mike Turrico and Chris Collinsworth and
the Lions are a two and a half point dog
in that one.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Who do you like?
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Can I put the game on mute? Mark? I mean
listening to Chris collins Worth?
Speaker 2 (09:39):
I mean, guy, Yeah, But here's the thing, if you
could only, only if you could do it, where when
Tarico speaks because I love him?
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Okay, all right, I get it. I don't know if
they've invented anything like that or anyone who's is quick enough,
you know, with the remote to hit the mute, but
this is gonna be a fun game. They played a
couple of years ago after Kansas City ended up winning
the Super Bowl and Detroit surprising the first week. Now
this is a little bit different here. Kansas City is desperate.
(10:11):
Their offense looks like they're starting to come around, but
their defense. I think their defense is just maybe a
step flow their linebackers in coverage and their cornerback, so
that could be a problem for him here Detroit. The
only problem I had with Detroit right now is a
cornerback position. Terry and Arnold game time decision, Kristin Fulton
(10:33):
probably going to be out. I mean, these two guys
in the cornerback position. They are a little bit banged up.
But how have they done under Dan Campbell? Well eleven
and two as an underdog, twenty one and four, and
they lost twenty five road games. This is the third
straight year they've started four and one or better. They
(10:54):
how about this? Over the since two thousand and one,
Lions have gone fifty one twenty one, one and one
against the spread. That's seventy point eight percent over the
last forty to fifty years. You talk about a five
year run. Only the Patriots from two thousand and three
to two thousand and seven and the Eagles from nineteen
ninety nine to two thousand and three have even been close.
(11:17):
It's sixty six point two percent. So this is a
team that has weapons all over the field. Probably two
of the top ten to fifteen backs in the league,
probably the best two tandem wide receivers, one of the
best tight ends here, and they have addreshers that get
to the quarterback here. They are favored for a reason.
(11:38):
The right team is favored here. Yeah, that's right. The
right team is usually favored, but not in this case.
It's the Detroit Lions plus the two and a half,
wrong team favored. They upset Kansas City at home.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
All right, let's go back to the college ranks. Coming
up later today. It will be seven o'clock at night
on the East coast, four o'clock here on the West coast,
a big ten matchup as Kirk Farrens and his Iowa
haw guys on the road against the Wisconsin Badgers. I mean,
(12:14):
I can't even tell you that this is the lowest
point total of any game throughout college and NFL is
this weekend, and it's gonna take place at Camp Randall
Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Now, there's a lot of things
that we can look at in terms of the game,
(12:34):
but I'm looking at that absolute complete total on the
game at thirty six and a half.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
That is insane.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
So I've looked at it and the reason when they
win Vegas. There's a psychology to making lines, and in
this line it's so easy. So he said, oh man,
these both of these teams will go well, they will
eat go over.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
You know, I can't believe it.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Listen, you want to hear Iowa other than against Albany,
Iowa scored thirteen points against Iowa State. Now they scored
forty seven against U mass UMass Is in a real
Division one team. They did have thirty eight on the
road against Rutgers, and they only scored fifteen at home
last week against Indiana Wisconsin. On the other hand, seventeen
(13:24):
against Miami of Ohio Middle Tennessee. We don't even count
fourteen at Alabama. They were held to ten points at
home to Maleak Washington and Maryland, and last week against Michigan,
they've scored ten points and their last three games, Lee Sterling,
they're averaging just over twelve points. So to me, it's
(13:45):
this way for a reason. I gave you the under
on Arkansas Tennessee points galore. Well, on this one, scoring
will be optional, and I think the under's gonna hit
and it's gonna be way under. Feel game. I don't
see either team being able to even get in the
end zone. I'm gonna go with the under on this one.
(14:08):
I believe that the odds makers got this right. So
this segment we like to do underdogs, where I'm going
under thirty six and a half.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Bet it now, thank me later, Lee.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
I gotta tell you, man, this one, I looked at
it and I vascillated back and forth, and I'm like,
if there's something that's too good to be true, it
usually is. Like here's for instance, last year in October,
Jets got off to a horrific start.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
They probably were one in three, one and four.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Texans got off to a four and one or maybe
four and two start. They go to MetLife Stadium a
year ago on a Thursday night. The Jets were a
two point favorite because Vegas was baiting you to take
the Texans. I, however, was smart enough. I said, you
know what, Jets aren't gonna win many games this year.
Vegas knows something. I went with Aaron Rodgers and the
(15:01):
Jets in that game. They won, they covered. And so
sometimes when you see Lions and you're like, wait a second,
you have to look at the psychology between Lines and Lee.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
These two schools. They couldn't score in a brothel with
a fifthfoil of one hundreds.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
They just can't. They do not score at all. And
it's gonna be one of the ugliest games, not only
of the weekend, of the entire twenty twenty five college
football season and for the Big Ten. Not exactly an
accurate representative of what you want for your conference. This
is sort of the bottom of the barrel. But one
(15:38):
thing we know lee about Kirk Farrence his teams, and
we do know this. They're on the road. But what
travels on the road that checks through tsa defense bingo.
And that's why I believe this game it's going to
be an under game.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Okay, one more thing I want to add to this game.
If you watched last week in Wisconsin's game, Luke Fickle,
they were down by two touchdowns in the game and
most teams, you know, they're looking to, you know, call timeouts,
try to make the score close, you know, try to
get back in the game. A couple of minutes to
go in the game. You know what did he do?
(16:18):
He kept all his timeouts in his pocket. He let
the game end and it was a long shot to
come back. But why is his team going to believe
in him when he doesn't believe in them? So Wisconsin
offense is horrible. Luke Fickle, I mean, he just wanted
to get out of there. Who knows. I think he
can get fired at the end of this year. If
they're down let's say twenty to three, twenty six in
(16:40):
this game, he'll just watch the end of the game
and let him just ground it out here and we'll
cash the ticket.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Yeah, I love it, man.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
And you know what, Luke Fickle, maybe he can go
back to Zoma Mater and Ryan Day will give him
an assistant coaching job where you know, I mean, I
don't know, I mean he ain't getting his old job
back his because Gus Sadderfield in Cincinnati is doing one
hell of a job and they're on the periphery of
the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
So that thing coming up. What we do every week,
we have a thing.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
In the first segment we do underdogs, the second segment
we do blowouts. And the third segment, the one that
you've all been waiting for, locks, Baby, the locks. We've
got that coming up in Lee and I. We've done
a lot of research this weekend, and let's just say
that we're feeling really good.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Lee. We've still got a couple of minutes here.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Let me just ask you this, what are some of
the things that you personally have noticed.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
We get paid to notice trends and analyze them.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
What are some of the things that you have noticed
this year, whether it's college football or NFL.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
When it comes to handicapping, these games.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
So what we're seeing in the NFL here is special
teams have not really come together, so we're seeing more
block field goals, and you know, it all stems from teams.
You know, they're bringing different kickers in and out, and
the injuries and things like that. And also these offenses
right now, it's a copycat league. You know, we're seeing
(18:10):
flanker screens, We're seeing the same place over and over.
So a lot of talent on the field by all
these teams, but just not seeing you know, the production
and teams putting it in the end zone. So it's
gonna be interesting to see what happens here. I'd like
to see some of these teams, you know, have a
couple of different plays, you know in college football, running
(18:32):
these flanker screens, you know, once in a while, fake
the flanker screen, throw the ball down the field, you know,
throw a pass off that flanker screen. So I'd like
to see a little bit more creativity on offense instead
of the same thing over and over every single week.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Yeah, it's a good point, and just be careful. And
by the way, we got to say this too, bet responsibly.
This is picking the locks.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
MJ.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
In the midday Sports Radio ninety through three KGr FM
in Seattle along our flagship station and where the show
em andate's from Lee Stroling from Paramount Sports dot Com.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
You're hearing us on a Saturday morning. We're doing this now.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
You didn't hear us last night because we were preempted
for the Huskies Rutgers game. We'll be back at our
normal time seven o'clock Pacific time every Friday night ten.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
O'clock on the East Coast coming up next.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Blowouts and Lee and I we've got our share, and
you might have some player props in there as well.
I've got one in particular that I think is gonna
put up a big number.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Don't go anywhere.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Picking the Locks brought to you by Fan Dual Sportsbook
at Suquamas Clearwater Casino Resort on Sports Radio ninety three
to three kjr FM.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Are you looking for a lock this weekend? You've come
to the right place. Now Back to Picking the Locks
with Mark James and Lee Sterling, brought to you by
the Fan Duel Sports Book atsu Quamish Clearwater Casino Resort

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Back on Picking the Locks, a Saturday morning.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Hope everybody out there throughout the PNW and wherever you're
listening enjoys your college football Saturday.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Lee Sterling best sports handy caper in America, MJ. Mark James.
We expect you to score, card us.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
We expect you to keep us you know, and our
records on the season so far, I am still six
games above five hundred right now. Last week I went
four and three. Lee went five to two and one.
So we did that last week sixteen and ten. Overall
(20:35):
for myself on the season, I gotta do better. But
we plan on doing better.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
All right.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
Let me start it off in this segment with blowouts.
Here's what we got. We're gonna go to Allegiance Stadium
later today between Dan Mullins UNLV running Rebels and the
Air Force. Now, one thing about this game, as you
know that, just like in the Arkansas Tennessee game, points
(21:05):
will be all over the field. UNLV is one of
the highest scoring teams in the country. Air Force they
can do it as well. They're not far behind. Dan
Mullens team is actually undefeated on the season, and he's
having one of the better kind of underrated, unheralded jobs
all season long, so they're at home on the season
(21:26):
UNLV is four and oh ats and I just believe
that in this game's on CBS Sports Network. I love
the running Rebels in this I think they've been really
great at home as well. They're laying six and a half.
You might see at seven depending on where you get
your action. I think the Rebels in this one cover
and I think points will be you know, obviously a
(21:49):
major premium as well. Is a high, really high total
in this game at sixty four and a half. But
I'm gonna side with the Rebels. Give me Vegas at
home minus to six and a half. Bet it now,
wait for it and take me later. Blowout special Vegas
(22:11):
UNLV minus six and a half.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
Yep, love it. And I'm going to come back with
a college game, and he is to study. And sometimes
you see a pattern and a home team and a
certain player, and you see a completely different pattern when
a team or a player plays on the road. And
what we're going to talk about here is we're going
(22:34):
to talk about the Oregon Ducks link seven and a
half points at home and they're taking on Indiana. So
public right now thinks Oregon's really good. But you're saying,
why is the line so low? Well, they think that
Indiana's offense is great. Fernando Mendoza know the kid, well,
he's from Miami Columbus High School. It's on play three
(22:55):
or four times in high school. Also followed his career,
he started a cal for four years. Now he's finishing
up with Indiana and he is great, really good when
they play nobody. He had a really big game last
year when he played Miami. But all these games were
at home on the road. Last year they played SMU,
(23:16):
they got whipped thirty eight to six. That's it, six points.
They traveled to pitt lost seventeen to fifteen, and then
traveled to two to ten Florida State and lost fourteen
to nine. Put up nine points on the road in
that game. This year, one big away game against Iowa,
(23:37):
put up twenty points. Kind of middle in there. I'm
not impressed that much. So I love the offensive and
defensive lines for Oregon. One. I saw one report has
Mendoza going number one in the draft. Are you kidding me?
I wouldn't spend a first or second rounder on this kid. Yeah.
I would spend it though, on Dante more. This kid
(23:58):
is something special. He's thrown for fourteen touchdowns just one interception.
He can run the football, he has weapons all around
him here. I'm not saying Indian is not gonna score
a couple of touchdowns, but I think Oregon here is
going to do a number here on this Indiana defense,
just like what happened to him in the playoffs. Here
and the Ducks twenty four and thirteen against the spread,
(24:21):
run last thirty seven games. Sometimes you gotta lay it
if you want to play it a lot special Oregon
Ducks here thirty eight, twenty four woo.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
All right, So the first loss for Kurt Signetti and
Fernando Mendoza and the Hoosiers, and I expect that. I
think that that's a good side. Now, let's go to
the Coliseum in LA. Big game for Lincoln Riley and
the USC Trojans going up against that if that five
star freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood and the Michigan Wolverines. Now,
(24:56):
Michigan's look good all season long except for one game,
and they're on the road at Oklahoma, and we saw
what that defense did to them. Well, this defense isn't
the same as Oklahoma is, but Nonetheless, this is a
huge game. I Lincoln Riley and USC. They lost a
couple of weeks ago on the road to Brett Beelima
(25:18):
and Illinois. One thing I know about this game, and
I was looking at sides and I'm saying to myself,
what do I trust the most when I look at
this game? What's the one thing that I truly trust?
And I can tell you after handicapping and breaking down
this game. As much as I do like Jaden Myvea,
(25:38):
my Via, I think points.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
This is a big point game.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
And I think in this game, you're gonna see fifty
six and a half.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
It's on NBC.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
It's gonna be a four to thirty kick on the
West coast, seven thirty on the East coast. Points will
be scored all over the field. Defense will be optional,
mostly on USC part, and I think this is gonna
be a big number on both sides.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Take the over on this one.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Go over, And if you like to parlay and you're
feeling a little spicy, I'm telling you right now this
is a trap line. Vegas is making a trap line
on this one. They put sc as a two and
a half point favorite over Michigan, who's ranked number fifteen
in the country. They are baiting you, baiting you to
(26:25):
take Michigan. I'll tell you right now, don't fall for
the bait. The line started at USC plus one and
a half. Now it's at USC minus two and a half.
Lot of movement, that's a lot of money. I'm taking
the over. And I also like the Trojans. Fight on Trojans.
(26:47):
I think they win and this game goes way over
the total.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
All right, I'm gonna come back over the top here
and I'm gonna look at an NFL game. Green Bay's
play Cincinnati. So lines at fourteen. You want to get
it now? Zach Taylor, I mean he's a coach. I
think the writing's on the wall. They don't come out
with a winning record, make the playoffs. I think he's done.
So they're desperate. What do they do? Jake Browning isn't
(27:16):
working out. After their star quarterback gets injured, they go
for Joe Flacco. This is the third team in the division.
This guy's gone to Now, Okay, he's got a nice arm,
but he can't get away from any pressure at all.
He's going to maybe the worst offensive line we've seen
in the NFL. They're going to have trouble moving the
ball here. Hey, two great receivers, but got to have
(27:39):
some protection. He has none. The Packers, on the other hand,
are very aggressive with their scripted plays to start games.
They have usually ten to fifteen plays. They can usually
get leads, just like they did against Detroit, and then
they move on off that road loss and a road tie.
I don't think they're going to be flat at all here.
(27:59):
I think they're gonna be ready to go here. This
is a team here. They want to appease their eighty
thousand owners of seats here, Lafloor, he's on the hot
seat a little. He needs a big win and he's
going to get it here. Oh out special number two
the pack the Green Bay Packers forty to fourteen over Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (28:21):

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Are you looking for a lock?
Speaker 3 (28:45):
This weekend.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
You've come to the right place. Now back to picking
the locks with Mark James and Lee Sterling, brought to
you by the FanDuel Sports Book at Suquamish Clearwater Casino
Resort on Sports Radio ninety three point three KJR.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Final segment and segment you've all been waiting for. I'm
betting the locks. It's all the locks. So here we go.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
MJA to Midday from Sports Radio ninety three three KJRFM
in Seattle ten to one every day. Lee Stirling from
Paramount Sports dot com. We are brought to you by
FanDuel Sportsbook at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Lee, we got locks.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Your first one, and I'm gonna say this right now,
is at Jerdenhair Stadium tomorrow night. The oldest rivalry in
the South, second longest rivalry.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
In college football. The first one not exactly powerhouse is
Harvard and Yale.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
They are academically but Auburn hosting the Georgia Bulldogs. It'll
be Jackson Arnold versus Gunner Stockton.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
What do you got?
Speaker 4 (29:48):
Yeah? And those two quarterbacks are not going to scare
too many defenses. But nothing wrong with the Auburn defense.
I mean they allowed just sixteen and twenty four points
here on the road in close six and seven point
losses to two undefeated and top ten teams Oklahoma and
Texas A and M. Run defense seventeenth in the land,
(30:09):
just giving up eight eighty eight yards per game here.
I think the Auburn offense just needs more balance. They'd
had to throw the ball sixty five times in those
two road losses here. They'd had to play Baylor, Texas
A and M and Oklahoma. What a tough road schedule.
Now they're at home, they get some balance, they'll be
able to hit on some shots down the field. To
(30:30):
Eric Singleton, Cam coleman or, I think we'll be playing
at the next level here. Georgia's top receivers, Colby Young
just two hundred and forty seven receiving yards and one touchdown.
I think Georgia was lucky, lucky to beat Tennessee. They
should be coming into this game with two losses. I
like Auburn here at home plus the three and a half.
That's my first lock. Now my second lock is going
(30:53):
to be we're gonna turn to the NFL and we're
gonna look at the Pittsburgh Steelers scheduling dynamics for the
Cleveland Browns are all after playing overseas, they got to
come home and play another game. Normally teams get to
buy Pittsburgh after they played a couple of weeks ago overseas,
they got the buy. And Aaron Rodgers is rolling. In
his last game against a really good Minnesota defense, he
(31:17):
completed eighty one point eight percent of his passes and
that was without Jalen Warren, his starting running back. They're
going to a more two tight end, just more friendly
to the quarterback blocking and doesn't have to worry about
getting rid of the ball as quickly as he normally
did early in the season. So the two tight end,
(31:38):
one running back set has worked for them in Pittsburgh
has covered six of the last eight home games and
the Browns have covered none. That's right, none of the
last seven road games. I think Pittsburgh gets this win big,
thirty four to ten to a Cleveland team selling off
their quarterback Flaco cornerback. I just wonder who's next next
(31:59):
weekend Lock number two Pittsburgh Steelers pick.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
All right, we're going to keep it on Sunday, the
Raiders at home, hosting Cam Ward and the Titans. The
Titans have the third worst statistical rushing defense in the league,
giving up one hundred and forty seven rushing yards a game.
Ashen Genty got off to a slow start, but then
he really turned it around a couple of weeks ago
and had a monster game against the Chicago Bears. And
(32:27):
I believe that he will do that because quite frankly,
the Raiders can't do anything with Gino Smith. I mean,
he is the worst starting quarterback in the National Football League,
and I think the Raiders are going to give the
ball early and often Ashon Genty. He had one hundred
and thirty eight rushing yards a couple of weeks ago
against the Bears. Look for them to have that much,
(32:49):
if not more, total about one hundred depending on where
you get your action take the over player prop Ashon
Genty rushing yards there, and last, but certainly not least,
the Bills.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
What can you say about them?
Speaker 2 (33:04):
They're disappointing performance Sunday night at home versus Drake May
and the upstart New England Patriots. Bills normally can score
a lot of points, but they haven't seen a defense
like Mike Rabel and what that Patriots team brought to
the table.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Well, they're going on row. This is a getback game
for them.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
And one thing about the Falcons we learned a couple
of weeks ago against the Commanders. Even though the Commanders
were without Jayden Daniels and without Terry McLaurin, Falcons are
much better at home. I think Pennix, I think Bijon Robinson,
I think Drake London and Kyle Pitts. They're gonna put
up some numbers. The total in this game is fifty.
I think it's gonna be way over this number. I
(33:44):
love the over on this one. Take the over fifty in.
I also kind of like the Bills total as well,
twenty eight, twenty eight and a half. If you like
that on the side you want to parlay and do something.
But my pick on this one over fifty Bills Falcons.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
Bet those now, wait for it, thank me later. Lee,
your last one to close out the locks for this week.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
I'm gonna go with Dallas Cowboys here. Dak Prescott, as
we know, not very good against good teams, but against
bottom feeders and teams with losing records thirty three, eighteen
and two. That's why he got the big salary here.
So Dallas changed from going sixty five percent passes to
a much more balanced split last week, twenty nine rushes,
(34:37):
twenty nine passes. It paid off against the Jets here
because the Dallas line, Let's be honest, there's a little
beat up here, but they're facing another bottom feeder after
facing the Jets, now they're facing Carolina. Carolina got lucky
Miami cornerbacks. None of them should be on any roster here.
I just think that this Carolina team is gonna go
(34:57):
be going up against a really tough set secondary for Dallas,
and also Dallas Javonte Williams starting to get it going
here one hundred and thirty five yards rushing last week here.
So this is going to be my third and last
lock of the show. Dallas Cowboys thirty one twenty four
over Carolina.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
All right.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Also last week I went four and three, and my
first four weeks of this brand new show called Picking
the Locks, I four straight non losing weeks, four.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
In a row. Look to make it five in a row.
Speaker 2 (35:30):

Lee to all the people out there listening, not only
in Seattle and throughout the PNW, but throughout the country,
as we will hopefully be adding this show to some
markets in the near future.
Speaker 3 (35:44):

to tell the listeners about.
Speaker 4 (35:49):

Speaker 2 (36:37):
All right, let me recap my picks for this week
over today. Arkansas at Tennessee under Iowa at Wisconsin under
thirty seven and a half my blowouts take the over
fifty six and a half USC at home versus Michigan.
Also like the side of sc if you want to
parlay that, Trojan's minus two and a half UNLV. They're
(36:59):
under feeded against the spread this year at four to ZHO.
It'll be five and zero after today minus six and
a half versus Air Force Ashton genty over one hundred
rushing yards against the Titans and over fifty Bills and Falcons.
So there we go. We hope everybody out there bets responsibly.
We appreciate you joining us, and we hopefully and we
