(02:07):
Super Bowl. So you're going to get the rest of
the College Bowls. You're gonna get three rounds of the
College football Playoffs. You're gonna get the last weekend of
the NFL Weekend eighteen. How important is that There's so
many games that will determine whether teams get into the
playoffs seedings, and then you're gonna get the entire playoffs,
including the Super Bowl and my top ten prop plays,
(02:28):
which of one now and eleven straight years. How do

hundred and ninety seven dollars. You're gonna get forty five
to fifty games from today all the way through the
superper Bowl. Just one place, Paramount sports dot com, or
you can call us here at the office. Eight hundred,
four hundred nine to seven, four to one.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
All right, Lee and I.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Right after the show, we're getting on some big birds
and headed to Dallas for the big one coming up.
Actually tonight, it's tonight our Miami Hurricanes and Ohio State.
But Lee, before we get to all the college football
playoff games, I just want to say that, you know,
(03:31):
portal does matter, and you look at the eight teams
left in these playoffs.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Five of the top eight.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
We're in the top five rankings or top ten rankings
for portal transfers. Miami ole Miss, Texas Tech Indiana and Oregon.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
In Indiana, wow, did they get.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
One in Fernando Mendoza who won the freaking Heisman Trophy.
Oregon they got Dante more over a year ago. Texas
Cody Campbell, the billionaire philanthropists and what they've done Ole Miss.
That's what Lane Kiffin did before he left the LSU
and Mario Christobal hitting so many great players in the portal,
(04:12):
including Keyanti Scott from Auburn and then of course hitting
on the quarterback position back to back years after cam
Ward last year in Carson Beck this year. So it
seems like not maybe you know what, I haven't measured it,
but just like in college basketball, if you hit in
the portal, the results will show in the postseason.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
Well, it reminds me of Monopoly, the game you play.
If you can get boardwalk in park place. You know
you may not win to start off, but eventually you're
gonna wear out your opponents. You just got better players.
So obviously a lot of the best coaches, also the
Kirby Smarts Ryan days, but even Mario Chris Bell one
(05:00):
of the best game day coaches. If he's got more
talent than you he's gonna win eighty five to ninety
percent of the time. So, like I said, and we've
talked about so many times, you got better players, you're
gonna win a large percentage of your games. And they're good.
Most of these teams and these colleges and the staffs
that they have, they can look at take and they
can tell who the best players are. And you know,
(05:22):
if they recruit well and also use the portal judiciously,
they're going to do very well. And that's that's what
we found, yep.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
And that's why these teams are.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
I mean, how excited are you for not only the
game that we're going to tonight, Lee, but the triple
head are coming up tomorrow, starting with Oregon, Texas Tech, Alabama, Indiana,
and then culminating with a rematch from the SEC all
Miss Georgia.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
Well, I mean, these are I think we now have
the best teams in there. I mean, some people might
have thought Texas A and M was up there and
day of the night season, but looking back at it,
you know, they didn't play very tough schedule. They're playing
the bottom feeders of the SEC. Oklahoma no offense, so
and the other two teams obviously we know Tu Lane
(06:12):
and James Madison were pretenders. So I think we've got
the best eight teams in there, and all eight teams
can win this game. You know, there's it's not like
one team is that much better than any other team.
So I think we finally have a really solid field.
Whereas like when you watch the Kentucky Derby, there's probably
only two or three teams that can win, or most
(06:34):
years in the NFL playoffs, I think that the talent
is just spread throughout all eight teams and great storylines.
And let's let the fun when you begin tonight.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
All right, Lee, I'm gonna let you start us off
because I know and you love to do this thing.
Wrong team favored. Let's go actually with something from tonight's game.
Maybe not exactly, you know, a pick on the total
of the side, but you like something for a player
from Ohio State.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
What do you like?
Speaker 5 (07:08):
Yeah? So CJ. Donaldson is the backup running back. At
one time he was the starter. A lot of people
don't remember his name. So he started off at West Virginia. Fact,
they used to see the kid in high school who
played a Miami Gilver High same high school as Sean Taylor,
Great John Taylor from University of Miami, and he was
a tight end. And what happens. He goes to West Virginia.
(07:30):
They switched him from tight end to running back and
had a really nice career. And then he decides, you
know what, I've got an offer. I can make some
money and move to a better program, more high profile,
better offensive line. I'm gonna move to Ohio State. And
he did, and he started. Now he's not the starter. Now.
It's not like he's been playing really poorly. It's just
(07:51):
that they have so much talent on the team. And
they have a young running back kid named Bo Jackson,
not the old Bo Jackson, but Bo Jackson. And uh
Donaldson has three hundred and thirty yards and he's the
bigger guy. He's a guy that they're gonna use in
short yardage. Bo Jackson just not big enough. Uh CJ.
Donaldson is six two, two thirty two and he might
(08:13):
be two forty five, to be honest with you, Bo
Jackson they listed six foot two seventeen. He's probably about
two h five, to be honest with you. So I
think in short yardage, and I think they're gonna have
to interchange their running backs. I think the number is
really low. Eleven and a half, and they know CJT
Donaldson uh has a lot to prove and knows a
(08:33):
lot of the Miami players and schemes, and he'll be
up for the game. So I think the numbers low. Uh.
What's great about player props You don't have to pick
a side, you can pick a certain situation. Not saying
I think many guys throw higher state are gonna have
great games, but I think CJ. Donaldson all he needs
is fifteen to twenty yards and you go over. So uh,
the guy is totally like a hidden gym. CJ. Donaldson,
(08:57):
Uh wrong, running back favorite here over eleven and a
half rushing yards for the game tonight versus University of Miami.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
All right, speaking of that game, I'm gonna go with
my first underdog of I gave everybody out here.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
I even gave it a game day guarantee.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I said, you wouldn't need the three and a half
points versus Texas A and M.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
You can just bet Miami money. Lined. I looked like
a profit on that one. Nailed that.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
I'm not saying and getting too brazen or overconfident but
I don't think Miami gets blown out tonight. I think
they're gonna do everything they can to keep it close.
You got to remember something, and so many of the
college football analysts, including Josh Pate, who's had a huge
following right now, was with CBS now is kind of
working his way into possibly joining ESPN full time.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
He basically said Miami.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Ohio State isn't ready for the violence that Miami brings
on both sides of the ball, on the O.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Line and the D line.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
And Miami isn't an ACC team because they might have
a patch on the jersey, but they're not an ACC team.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Miami is just different.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
And I said before the A and M game, there's
only one team in these playoffs that has a top
ten rated statistically.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
O line and D line, and that's the Miami Hurricanes.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Well, by the way, Ohio State's biggest weakness they're O line.
They're O line is and you saw when they got
battle tested two times this year. What happened Now, they
pulled it out against Texas first game of the year,
they were at home, but then it happened against Indiana
and that front from Kurt Signetti in the Big ten
(10:38):
championship game and they folded like a cheap ten. I'm
not saying they're not going to win the game, but
you're gonna get this is the wrong team, favored underdog
segment nine and a half points. Give me all that,
and then some take Miami plus the nine and a half.
Bet it now, hurry up, only a few hours remaining
(10:58):
til kickoff. Kickoff is coming up at four point thirty
local time here in Seattle. Bet it now, wait for it,
wait for it, thank me later, and then cash that ticket.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Cans plus nine and a half mark it down.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
All right. I'm gonna go to a game here in
the NFL on Saturday night, and I'm gonna take the
Carolina Panthers. They're plus two and a half to three
points and they're taking on the Tampa Bay Bucks. Whoever
wins this game is going to be making the playoffs
kind of by default. And I just think that Tampa
Bay is absolutely fraudulent. Their offensive line horrendous. They could
(11:41):
do nothing against the Miami Dolphins on last Sunday. And
then also I like their two prong running game. I
mean they got two guys. You want to win a game,
a close game, you want to win it in the
trenches here, and teams have been able to wear down
you know this this Tampa defense, and they don't have
(12:01):
the depth and they also don't have the punch up
up front. So I like the two guys that the
Panthers have running the football Rico Daddle, Chubble Hubbard. Yep.
You know they've had a couple of fumbles over the
last couple of weeks played Seattle played a team that
was better than them, But I think they're playing a
team that they're better than right now. I think they're
(12:22):
playing a team here that's defense absolutely failed because of
talent and also injuries. And then you can't underestimate what's
going on the coaching staff. I think the coaches know
if they lose this game for Tampa Bay, they're all gone.
So a lot of pressure on Tampa Bay. And I
think Caroline's playing with house money here. So I'm gonna
take Carolina plus the two and a half to three points.
(12:44):
Another wrong team favorite.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
All right, Lee, I'm gonna go to tomorrow the game
that's gonna lead off the college football playoff triple header,
and I'm gonna go You tak about wrong team favored
I truly believe that this team is definitely the wrong
team favored, and I'm gonna go with the Texas Tech Oregon.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Game in Miami.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
We will be in Dallas, but that'll we'll be getting
back from Dallas. And you look at Oregon. Oregon's had
a great season. They're a very tough defensive team. But
then you look at a team like Texas Tech and
what they've done. They're twelve and one this year a
ts and I said it when the season, like actually
(13:28):
during the season, but right after Championship Saturday, I said,
this team's gonna be in the semi finals. I know
Oregon Dante more and they had a great defense under
Dan Lanning. But I'm gonna go with Joey maguire and
the Red Raiders and especially mister Stash, mister Rodriguez. They
are the linebacker and I think Barren Morton they're gonna
(13:49):
have a big game. I really believe Vegas got this
line wrong. I don't think you need the points. Take
Texas Tech on the money line. They're gonna win the
game on the field. Forget about if you want to
take the points. It makes you feel better too and
a half. Fine, you're not gonna need them. Give me
the Red Raiders and they'll do this one for their
most prominent and famous alum, Patrick Mahomes, who just tore
his ACL against the Chargers a couple of weeks ago.
(14:12):
And I think the Red Raiders march on to face
the winner of Alabama in Indiana in a week. Yeah,
in a week on January ninth in Atlanta in the
Peach Bowl semi final game. So I'm taking the Red
Raiders with the guns up. What do you got nextlye?
Speaker 5 (14:33):
Yep? That's like I said, coming up, I've got two
blowouts that I think might be over by halftime. Yep.
And how about this, I've got three locks, and I
think you've got two or three also that one of them, Mark,
maybe the biggest lock I've had the entire season.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Oh wow, the biggest lock you've had the entire season?
All right?
Speaker 3 (14:54):

just called Jackpot January, put in the coupon code save
two hundred and ninety seven dollars for forty five to
(16:22):
fifty selections from now through the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
All right, sounds great. Okay, I'm going to go with
a game that's for me. Let's just say, and I
want to get the exact kickoff of this game because
I believe it's starting the time coming up here right
after this show, we're going to be off the air
(16:46):
at eleven.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Seattle time, and I want to make sure.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Yes, So coming up an hour after we go off
the air, the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Michigan, Texas. Now
the Lions moved a little bit, but it's hovering back
down now around seven.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Who's coaching Michigan and what are they doing?
Speaker 3 (17:09):
I think if you look at Texas, and yes, they
were preseason number one. They lost three games, they were
one of the disappointments who didn't make the playoffs, but
you look at the way they closed out the year.
They actually close out the year pretty good, exide from
the loss at Georgia and Georgia's obviously in the College
Football Playoff, but think about this. They beat a very
(17:31):
top fifteen, highly ranked Vanderbilt team at home. They dropped
fifty two on Arkansas, nothing special there, and then they
gave Texas A and M their first loss of the
season in a dominating performance.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
I think they're playing better.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
I wouldn't give the hook, but I'm gonna go hook
them Horns on this without the hook, though, I don't
like seven in the hook. Just minus seven. If you
can get that at that number, give me Texas. I
think in this game, Steve Star and especially Arch Manning,
who was at an up and down year, they want
to close the season out on a great note. Michigan's
(18:07):
program is an absolute disaster after the Shron More scandal
and investigation that I think he's still sitting in or
maybe he's been bailed out of jail since then. They
just hired Kyle Winningham a couple of days ago. But
it doesn't matter, not in this game, and I think
Texas is going to show up and they want to.
They want to get some momentum going into the twenty
(18:29):
twenty six season, So I'm gonna go Horns minus seven.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
In this one, you know, you.
Speaker 5 (18:36):
Know, in touching on something else, I didn't love to
hire Kyle Whittingham. I think here's a guy neither I thought.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
See if Brom at Louisville would have been better Lee.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
I agree, I mean the guy that's a little more innovative.
Whittingham does get the most out of his talent over
the course of the years, but now he's going to
be getting top level talent. So I think it's a
different type of mindset. And I think that you know,
he teams think weren't beating good teams the last couple
of years. He had some nice records, you know, losing
(19:07):
two three games a year, but they were nothing special.
So I think they probably went through five or six
people before Kyle Whittingham, and you know, he just he's
that guy that fell in their lap. And they're trying
to guys like Dave Portnoy trying to act like he's
the home run higher. I don't see that way at all.
I think he's a best at B minus C plus higher.
(19:28):
He will and still some discipline. Might be the first
coach in a while that doesn't cheat, and you know
that maybe that's something to be said but I don't
think he's the home run higher did lecture one more
when he was hired, So this is a program that
might start falling back. So I think you might have
hit on something there in Texas. Still, the talent level
(19:49):
much much higher and their firepower. I mean, you saw
that Michigan hung for about a half with Ohio State.
Thing got blown out. Now game I'm looking at here
is in the NFL. There are some teams that have
totally tanked. I mean they want nothing to do with winning.
But I'm going to go against two teams that may
have played their best game last weekend. It's tough when
(20:13):
you're not a good team to keep that level going.
And I'm going to go against the Cleveland Browns. I'm
going to take the Cincinnati Bengals and lay believe it
or not seven and a half points. Yeah, if it's seven,
I like it even more. Maybe buy it down to seven.
But since he's at home. Cleveland's super Bowl was last weekend.
They knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers. I mean, they played
(20:36):
with emotion. You would have thought it was the college
football Championship Game and Super Bowl all wrapped into one.
Great play calling, defense, that was on the field all
day held their ground. But now they're facing two absolute
receivers that are better than anything that Pittsburgh could throw
(20:56):
out there. We're talking about Jamar Chason t Higgins. So
these are two guys that have combined seventeen touchdowns, you know,
combined over twenty one hundred receiving yards. These guys that
are just they're almost unguardable. Pittsburgh had a bunch of
guys that were not ones, not twos, not even threes.
(21:16):
They were like fives and six is on those teams.
So I just think that Joe Burrow, since he's come back,
has looked good. In just seven games, he has fourteen
touchdown passes, only four interceptions. He had to have one
game at the end of the game two interceptions that
costs his team, but he still has the passer rating
of over one hundred. Yere facing Shador Sanders, who still
(21:36):
makes mistakes. Best thing he did on last Sunday was
not throwing the interceptions. So I think Cincinnati is an
easy play here. They dispatched Arizona last week. They were
able to take their starters out after three quarters here,
So take Cincinnati going to be another blowout special over
the Cleveland Browns.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
All right, Cincinnati versus the Cleveland, Well, my next one, Lee,
I'm going to keep it in college. And when these
two teams faced in between the hedges a couple months ago,
it was a affair where they scored seventy eight points combined.
I don't think it's going to be like that. But
one thing we know about ole Miss they can put
(22:19):
points on the board. Now, George's defense has improved exponentially
since that part of the season. I'm not denying that,
but I think ole Miss is going to be able
to score.
Speaker 5 (22:28):
Here.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Give me at least twenty four to maybe twenty seven points,
and I know George is gonna score. So I think
this team and this game is going to go way
above the total of fifty six. So for me, a
high scoring game. That's the reason Vegas they looked at
that number. They make it there for a reason. Just
like in the Steelers Browns game, what was it that
(22:51):
total THERA was like thirty four and a half on Sunday, Well,
it's fifty six for a reason.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
I think it's going to be a high scoring affair.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Gunner stocked in versus Trinid Dad Shambliss, and I was
impressed with what I saw of Ole Miss. Now granted,
I mean they didn't play anybody, they already played Tulane
and it's a whole different level. But I think both
teams are going to be able to score. And I
wouldn't be surprised if Georgia puts up thirty eight to
forty something points, which makes this cover gonna be pretty easy.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
So give me the over.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Fifty six on Ole Miss and Georgia in the Sugar
Bowl quarterfinal game in New Orleans tomorrow night, five o'clock
kick here in the PNW OH.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
I love both quarterbacks in this game. Fun quarterbacks to watch.
They can run and throw the football, and we know,
you know, Kirby Smart obviously very animated on the sideline,
so when he's up, he doesn't just you know, pull
it in and run the ball. He wants to extend
the lead. And it's going against an SEC opponent, so
(23:57):
you know he wants to not only win the game,
he wants to win a big if possible. And you know,
also for recruiting purposes, they're gonna be going head to
head for a bunch of players over the next couple
of years, and you know, when he's going to these kids'
households over the next couple of months next year, he
wants to say, hey, remember when I you know, I
put up thirty five forty on this Old Miss team
(24:20):
two times in a row and beat them both times,
and Ole Miss the same way. They want to say, hey,
you know, look what we did against this Georgia defense.
So a lot to talk about, a lot to like
with post offenses. Now I'm going to finish up on
the blowout category with the New England Patriots. I'm going
to lay the eleven points and take them against the
Miami Dolphins. And if you just look at the scores
(24:42):
over the last six weeks, you're saying, well, the Miami
defense has actually improved. Well, they went overseas and they
beat the Commanders sixteen thirteen, but no Jaden Daniels. Then
they played the New Orleans Saints. They won twenty one
to seventeen, held all, and we know the Saints don't
have much offense at all. Then they travel to the Jets.
(25:05):
They played the Jets who were tanking, no question about it,
and win thirty four to ten. A third straight bad
offense then go and play the Steelers and it's not
like the Steelers offense is good, and they lose and
give up twenty eight points to the Pittsburgh Steelers who
have done nothing on offense over the last five or
six weeks. Come back home play, the Bengals lose to
(25:28):
Joe Burrow forty five to twenty one, and it could
have been worse. And then they played better and ended
up with a win against the Bucks in one twenty
to seventeen. But the Bucks absolute mess on the offensive
line as a team. So I'm not impressed with this defense.
I don't think that they're good. Are they you know,
serviceable against bad teams, absolutely, but not against the team
(25:51):
like this. So they're gonna employ playing a New England team.
I think that they have the MVP on their roster,
so you know, when you look at teams and what
they've done this year, I think that New England the
biggest surprise New England Patriots. Uh, you know, they ended
up didn't have the first pick. They ended up getting
Drake May and got him a couple of picks afterwards,
(26:13):
and people thought, oh, they had the third pick and
it was going to be a guy that would be okay,
but maybe nothing anything special. What has he done? I
think he's the MVP. Thirty touchdowns, just eight interceptions, He's
run for four hundred and nine yards and another four touchdowns.
You know, they could end up with the number one
seed out of nowhere. And it's not like he's got
(26:35):
super receivers good receivers. So the Miami secondary decimated with injuries.
They've lost like seven or eight guys for the year
since the start of the season in training camp, coaching staff.
This is going to be the last game they're traveling,
playing in cold weather, so there's just so many factors
going against the Dolphins. I mean, if you're thinking of
(26:55):
taking these double digit points here, you know you're you're
you're back on the wrong team. And it's like their
Super Bowl playing last week and winning that game. So
I think the Dolphins are done. Give them credit. They
ended up winning, you know, seven games. That's nice for
where they started at one and five. I like New
England here, they win another game here here easy by
(27:16):
double digits. New England minus eleven blowout over the Miami Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
All right, very nice. I like it. I'm gonna throw
another one in there.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
In terms of being I mean not gonna put this
in the lock category as well, but this is going
to be a big time blowout the Cowboys and the Giants. Now,
remember when these two teams faced each other, Russell Wilson
had like four hundred and fifty something yards passing that
was earlier in the season, that was in Dallas. The
final score was forty to thirty seven, so seventy seven
(27:49):
points combined. Vegas has this total at fifty two and
a half and it is climbing as we speak. New
York Giants this yearly on the totals, they've gone over.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Ten out of sixteen games.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Dallas totals gone over twelve out of sixteen games. This
is an over special, delight, Are you kidding me? I'm
gonna bet a lot of money on this in hey.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Bet what you can afford to lose.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
But I think this is an absolute total blowout special
and I expect this total to possibly be covered by
the end of the first half. Over fifty two and
a half Cowboys Giants up in MetLife Stadium.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Bet it now, thank me later.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
And I think both teams, knowing that they're neither one,
are gonna even sniff the postseason, they're gonna go out out.
George Pickens, he needs to play on where his next
team will be or maybe it'll be in Dallas.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
He's got to put up numbers.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
Dak Prescott had him, as you know, Lee on a
player prop last week, over two hundred and seventy seven
passing yards. He went over three hundred and I neither
team can stop a nosebleed.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
I'm actually surprised.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
The line at the total on this isn't about fifty
six and a half to fifty seven. It might end
up by the time this game is played on Sunday
over fifty two and a half. Easily cover Cowboys Giants.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Total. Bet it now, thank me later, easy, easy money
on that one. I'm very confident on that now. Coming
up next on.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
You can get every pick just for two hundred and
ninety seven dollars from now till the end of the
Super Bowl. Lee what we saw on Sunday, and I
will say this, Wow, you know.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
What, if you're gonna commit, commit to the act.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
The Raiders deactivated Max Crosby and brock Bauers versus the Giants.
They learn from their mistakes of the past, i e.
Antonio Pearce winning two meaningless games and costing the Raiders
eight chance at selecting cam Ward number one.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Overall, they're not going to do that.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
They got their eyes either on Fernando Mendoza or maybe
Dante more and they have committed to the act.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
But I will say this, it was rather.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Shameful of what we saw on Sunday versus the Giants,
where they completely laid down.
Speaker 5 (32:20):
It was a full tank job. I mean it wasn't
just resting players. It was the play calls. I mean
there was times like third and five, They're just running
the ball right up the middle.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
I mean it was like it was a.
Speaker 5 (32:31):
Team that was up by twenty points and just running
out the clock in a preseason game. It was almost embarrassing.
You know, they would throw to the tight end, throw underneath,
but offensive line was absolutely horrendous. They made it so
they just had no chance to win. As far as
the personnel on the field and then the play calling
was it was just full tank most The only problem
(32:55):
for the Raiders if they'd done this last year, great.
You know there's no cam Ward in the draft. I
don't think Fernando Mendoza, I don't think he's the guy.
I don't know if Dante Moore. I think at least
Dante Moore gives you a little bit more upside. But
both of those guys you know, they go to the
Raiders or or let's say they go to another franchise.
You're you're with the Raiders, you're with the Jets. You're
(33:16):
destined to fail. So I think that there's probably better
guys coming out the following year. Did a great job
of tanking, they just did it the wrong year.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Yeah, we'll see some people are high on Dante Moore,
But I'm with you. I think next year's draft class
will be so much better. But then again, a lot
of those guys got to come back to school because
they had horrible years.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
Arch Manning, DJ Lagway.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Club nicked from Clemson, and and Lenora Sellers.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
They all had bad years, so they gotta come back.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
Oh in h DJ Lagway, I bet you DJ Lagway
and Garrett Nessamier. I don't even know if garrettsam He
has no elgibility remaining.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
So that's interesting.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
All right, Lee, You lead us off with the quarter
final playoff game coming up tomorrow night, will end up
the playoff triple header between all missing Georgia in a
rematch from a couple months ago. But Lane Kiffin's not
walking to that door. He's gonna be an hour and
a half two hours away in Baton. Ruse, you won't
be in New Orleans to help his former team all
this out tomorrow night.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
And boy, they look good in the first half of
their game, actually through the middle of the third quarter
against Georgia, they're up by fifteen points, and they look
like the better team. They look fresher, they look faster
play calling. Just thought that though the whole game plan
was just so on the money. And then what happened.
You see this many times before, Team Mike Georgia says, Okay,
(34:44):
we've seen your first fifteen to twenty twenty five plays
you think can work. Now show us something different. You
got to go through and either recycle those plays or
you're gonna have to come up with something new. And
what did Georgia do. They shut the door down, stopped
him absolutely cold. They could do nothing from that point
(35:05):
forward on offense, could all miss. And then on offense
we saw Georgia start picking it up. Alec Gunnerstockton, I'm
not saying he's going to be a great pro, but
the guy's a leader. He's a winner twenty three touchdowns,
five interceptions this year. He's a quarterback rating of one
hundred and fifty two point nine opening holes for Nate Fraser,
(35:27):
Date Fraser averaging five point four yards per carry, Chounsey
Bowens five point three yards per carry, and then all
of a sudden, zachar Riatt Branch gets into the act here.
He ended up the year with almost seven hundred and
fifty passing yards receiving and five touchdowns in coolby Young
and also Dylan Bell. These guys were chipping in. So
(35:50):
this is a team that has figured it out. They
developed players. I think they've got the best coaching staff.
And it wasn't like they could win with Leaden Kiffen
in the first game when they were up by five fifteen.
So what makes you think that, you know, getting six
points they have a chance to hang around here? I
don't see it. I think this Georgia team is getting
better and better and better. I don't see him having
(36:11):
an off week. They play better in big time situations here,
especially bowl games. Pressure is going to be an old miss.
They're not playing too lane again here, They're playing the
big boys. I like Georgia. Here my first lot of
the show. Georgia Bulldogs, big a role miss.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
All right, sounds good.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
Let's go to the Big one on Saturday Night for
not only the NFC West Divisional title, but the number
one seed in the NFC with a bye, the Seattle
Seahawks our Seattle, My Seattle Seahawks facing one of their
biggest rivals, the San Francisco forty nine Ers. I was
at the game to start the season. They scored thirty
(36:53):
points total, seventeen to thirteen when Brock perty eight hits
third string tight end Jake Tanjas in the the end zone.
But now the Seattle Seahawks, they've won six in a row,
so have the forty nine Ers. And Mike McDonald since
he's taken over as head coach for the Seahawks is.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Fourteen and two on the road.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
And I think if you saw the fact that the
forty nine Ers gave up nearly forty points versus the
Bears on Sunday night, should have given up forty five
because I thought the Bear is going to score at
the end there. That to me tells me everything that
I need to know about the San Francisco forty nine Ers.
Their defense is a leaky faucet. Yeah, they've been able
(37:37):
to do it. I get it. But this is a
game the Seattle Seahawks and Sam Darnold against one of
his former teams.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
He needs to step up big time.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
He was He was a backup quarterback for Jimmy g
and Brock perty there in San Francisco with former offensive
assistant and current Seahawks OC Clint Kubiak. I love the
Seahawks in this one league. It started off at the
forty nine Ers were a four and a half point favorite.
As of today, the Seahawks are a one point favorite.
(38:06):
The line has swung from forty nine ers minus four
and a half to forty nine ers plus one. Give
me the Hawks eight days a week and ten times.
Usually would say Sunday, but I'm gonna say on Saturday night,
Hawks are gonna win. They will win this game convincingly
on the road. They will clinch the number one seed
in the NFC, and hopefully we'll be playing right back
(38:28):
in that stadium just over five to six weeks later
in Super Bowl sixty.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
What do you think about that, Lee, Well.
Speaker 5 (38:35):
This is the first time this year we are on
the same lock. I agree with you. This is my
second lock. Also, I love the Seattle team. I thought
that watching last week, I thought that Seattle so offense
did a lot better, especially when they're backed up in
their own end zone. They waited their time, didn't turn
the ball over, which they've done some, and thought Sam
(38:56):
Donald was much more composed. They might have the best
one running back punch here in Kenneth Walker Zach Carverneau,
two guys who combined for over fifteen hundred yards rushing
sixteen touchdowns. I mean both of them are healthy again,
and that's important. And you know, when you're going against
the San Francisco team, you need that one guy who
(39:19):
can make the catch when accounts and he's unguardable. Jackson
Smith and Jigga. He is just that good here. I
think he should be up for MVP honors. Over seven
hundred receiving yards, ten touchdowns, he's averaging averaging over fifteen
yards or reception here has a long of a seventy
four yard touchdown. So I just think that the defense
(39:42):
here is by far, and you mentioned it better than
San Francisco. They have playmakers all over the field. Forty
four sacks already for the season. Here you talk about ballhawks,
I mean they're all over the field. Seventeen interceptions. There's
a couple of teams like the Jets a few others
zero won two interceptions on the year, they're averaging over
(40:05):
an interception per game. So I think this Seattle team
is gelling here. And I just think that San Francisco
Paper Tigers here have beaten a lot of bad teams.
When they go up against Seattle here, even though it's
at home, they're going to get exposed. Yeah, my second lock,
just like you Seattle over San Francisco.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
I've already bet the game because I knew that line's
going to go up. I wouldn't be surprised if by
kickoff five o'clock local time in Seattle that the Seahawks
could be a three point favorite. I really, I would
not be surprised about that, all right. For me coming
up next, what I've got and my final lock, and
(40:48):
I went through this and hey, I mean need no
further proof than what I saw on the field or
what I didn't see on the field. That was an
embarrassment for the Raiders. Well, I expect nothing less then
on Sunday. Now, Patrick Mahomes is not walking through that door.
He's got a torn acl They got Chris Ala Dokin
from South Dakota State seventh round pick was nearly mister
(41:11):
irrelevant back in twenty twenty two. But obviously the Raiders,
they are committed to the craft or shame, whatever adjectivity
want to use of tanking, and they want.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
That number one pick.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
They're not going to screw it up the way Antonio
Pierce did a year ago, that dumb ass, that idiot.
You imagine a year ago we had Antonio Pierce in
Girodmeo as head coaches in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Can you imagine that?
Speaker 3 (41:35):
And even though the Raiders have a horrible year, but
at least they hired a Hall of fame coach in
Pete Carroll, and the Patriots hired Mike Rabel, who might
win the Coach of the Year. I'm gonna take the
Chiefs minus five and a half. I think the Raiders
are They're fully invested. I wouldn't be surprised if they
sit most of their starters because.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
They have no desire to win this game.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
And who knows, maybe this could be the final game
of Pete Carroll's Raiders coach and maybe the final game
of Pete Carroll's head coaching career in the NFL. And
I know the Chiefs are bad. They missed the playoffs
for the first time since twenty fourteen. Andy Reid's gonna
go out. He's not gonna tank, He's gonna show pride.
They're not trying to get the number one pick. Give
me the Chiefs minus five and a half in this
(42:19):
game over the Raiders. Lee You've got coming up in
your next pick. You gave us Georgia. You agree with
me on Seattle, and you said, you what your biggest
lock potentially of the entire football season?
Speaker 2 (42:35):
What do you got?
Speaker 5 (42:37):
Yeah, And it's a player prop. We're gonna look at
Julian saying quarterback for Ohio State tonight and the over
under passing yards two hundred and forty three and a
half passing yards, and you're saying, Wow, probably got the
best trio receivers playing against Miami, playing good weather. It's indoors,
you know, and Jerry's world should get at least two fifty,
(42:59):
maybe close to three hundred. So let's look at what
he's done this year against you know, good to next
level teams Texas thirteen for twenty one hundred and twenty
six yards. That's it. Then he plays Washington in Seattle
twenty two for twenty eight, good game, two hundred and
eight passing yards. Then plays Michigan has a really good
(43:22):
game nineteen for twenty six and only throws for two
hundred and thirty three yards. The only game that he
went over against, I'm saying a top thirty thirty five
team is Indiana twenty one for twenty nine for two
hundred and fifty eight yards. But let's look closer at
this game. Why did he go over more possessions Indiana plays?
(43:44):
Hurry up? Indiana's top five As far as getting off plays,
They're going to be playing a Miami team that slows
down the game pace a play bottom twenty, so less possessions,
less plays usually means more yards. Now, let's finish off
looking at the Miami defense. Miami allowed CJ. Carr Notre
(44:05):
Dame just two twenty one, DJ Lagway sixty one, CJ. Bailey,
North Carolina, State of Buck twenty, Maithan Henchell Pittsburgh who
was lighting it up one ninety nine, and Marcel Reid
this was at College Station just two hundred and thirty
seven yards. Are you kidding me? Not once today allow
(44:26):
quarterback to throw for over two one hundred and thirty
seven yards all year. We're gonna go with my biggest
lock of the season here under two hundred and forty
three and a half passing yards for Ohio State quarterback
Julian San You can lock it in right now, biggest
lock of the year for Paramount Sports.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
All right.
Speaker 3 (44:49):
