I've been following John for a whilebecause his story is not too dissimilar from
mine. He grew up in suburbanChicago, not too far from where I
was born and raised, so thatintrigued me. His love of house music,
kind of music, he produces allthese things. I'm like, oh,
man, that was me not solong ago. This is cool,
(00:21):
Here's here's the next gen coming up? Man, like a full circle moment.
So I thought he also remixed yoursong. I remember, Yes,
Nelson, Yes, pretty much likefteen years old now. So how did
that remix come about? How didyou guys work on that. I didn't
know anything about it, and hestarted playing it then people were hitting me
(00:42):
up, and I think he justgot the vocals out there on the internet
somewhere in the world floating around, right, So I think he just did
it. It was mainly just atool for his sets, as far as
I understand. And then the labelwho owns that song was like, hey,
we should put this out and Iwas like, yeah, sure,
man, dude, whatever you guysneed. You're just like, yeah,
do it. Why not, man, I know what You've been doing this

it. So I wanted to knowwhat is that lifestyle like like being here
in LA and then going to beagainst and Junior Residency and then being I'm
like, he's in Miami and allof these places, Like what is that?
Like, what's the craziest like workschedule that you've got? Man,

(01:26):
a weekend. That's crazy all aroundyou know, America whatever, just getting
around at different places. So that'salways nuts when they're stacked like that.
I mean just I don't know,an hour and a half Grosse in Las
Vegas, finished the show at apool and now I'm here in LA.
You know, like which is I'mlike, think we get such a quick
flight, but it's still crazy. But like you did a work day and

one one day and then they're like, Okay, I'm for the rest of
the day. So do you preferdoing a solo show or a festival?
I think they're all cool. Theyjust have different advantages, you know,
apples and oranges kind of thing.I love them all. Uh yeah,
I know some people they were saying, like, doing a solo show,
(02:10):
it's like you're crowd, but thenwhen you do a custimer you get some
pull in me need to pull inpeople. I mean, solo shows are
amazing because you're like, Wow,the forty five thousand people here, are
here, you see me? Theywant a ticket to see me? This
is nuts. It's crazy, butit's cool. When you play festival tonight,
I'm sure there'll be a lot ofdie hard Cascade fans out there,
(02:31):
