As we celebrate our 100th episode we welcome back to the show Brittany Furman. She was a guest on our 25th show and when we were done recording, Katie asked Brittany if she was pregnant. Well, she was. Actually, Brittany had just found out that she was pregnant a few hours before we recorded...that's talked about during this episode.
We also talk about Brittany's journey since last being on the show. Brittany tells us about the new book that she is a part of called "The Grief Experience: Tools For Acceptance, Resilience and Connection" which will be available next year. Her chapter in the book is called "The Last Responder". Brittany also gets into the grieving process. How each person deals with death in their own way. She talks about how the experience of death for the living is a process. Brittany is a funeral director and from what we can tell, one of a kind. She explains that there is more to the "saying goodbye" process than just a wake and funeral.
As most of our episodes are, this one is a cannot miss! We all have to deal with the loss of a love one and the grieving process. Please take the time to listen to this amazing conversation.
Thank you for making this all possible for us! We love all of our listeners and without you, we wouldn't have been able to do this. Cheers to our 100th and cheers to 100 more!
