Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good evening, Welcome to the Voice in the Wilderness. I'm
Don Noble with p Your Heart Ministries, and I welcome
you today with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy. Well Tonight's
message is titled My Farewell, and I'm very, very sad
to announce that this will be my last program on WWVA,
(00:25):
and I have to say it's been a wonderful experience.
It's been many years and I hate to I hate
to move on and leave WWVA. But as I mentioned
to you all that listen on a regular basis, about
(00:45):
six months ago or more, I was hoping to get
more financial support and that never really materialized. There was
a person who dropped off an envelope for me and
Valley Grove at the Valley Grove Post Office and said
there was more to come, but that never really materialized.
(01:08):
So what I do want to say is that many
of you were frequent listeners, but you never really helped financially,
and you just don't understand how, you know, expensive it
is to be on a secular radio station. Nevertheless, although
(01:32):
that has been very disappointing for me, and I would
have loved to have stayed on, this is my last program,
but I will continue to teach and preach, and I
this is this is not the end of my so
(01:54):
called voice and the wilderness. And I will be starting
a church soon called The Gate Beautiful and it will
be somewhere in the Wheeling area, in the city of Wheeling.
It will not be outside of Wheeling, because I'm not
called to be anywhere but Wheeling. I would recommend that
(02:18):
you go to my Facebook page, to my personal Facebook page,
which is Dawn Dawn Voltage b as in boy A,
l TI, ch Noble and Obli to see any updates,
or you can go on the Pure Heart Ministries Facebook page.
(02:42):
But I want to leave you with a few things
in light of all that is going on in the
US with riots and unrest, and that's been rather unsettling
through too. I'm sure many of you you remember I
(03:02):
warned you just think back. I warned you in January
that even though President Trump was going to be in office,
that that wasn't going to make everything easy, and the
devil wasn't going to just suddenly lie down and be quiet.
(03:24):
And of course we have seen in the last six
months the devil is on a rampage and I have
told you multiple times, multiple times that the fight here
is spiritual. This is a spiritual battle. It looks like
(03:46):
something else, but you're looking at it in the natural realm,
and you're not seeing and understanding in the spiritual realm.
This is a battle in the spiritual realm. And for
many who follow Jesus, that should be pretty obvious to you.
(04:06):
So the devil was never going to just sit back
and take it easy. No, He's poured gasoline on this thing.
And so we see six months into the new administration
that it seems every day gets a little more tense
(04:26):
and a little more crazy, and people are more vicious
and violent. What can I say, I'm not surprised by
anything that is happening in the United States today. I
don't like it because I'm a person who likes peace,
(04:52):
and anybody that goes out to dinner with me knows
I don't like to eat in a noisy restaurant. Want
to eat in a place that's quiet. And often that's
hard to find because usually in a restaurant that's a
good restaurant, there are lots of people. But that's my preference.
(05:15):
I like to have meals at home because I like peace.
And quiet. So I'm not a person that likes all
of the unrest and the yelling and the cursing and
the you know, all that's going on. And for me,
it's been very hard, and I have watched very little
TV because I can't watch people throwing bricks at law enforcement,
(05:40):
trying to hurt people, kill people, destroy businesses, destroy vehicles,
et cetera, et cetera. I just I that's just antipical
to who I am. Nevertheless, that is the world we
live in today, and that should give you pause because
(06:01):
we are in the last of the last days. We're
actually in the last hours of the last days. And
I think as time has marched on, and I'm amazed
at how fast time is flying, the things, how things
(06:26):
are changing, how things are escalating, how things are accelerating.
While you have to have a grip and a grasp
about the end times. And many times I've talked to
you about you know, many of you sit in churches.
(06:47):
I'm going to just you know today, I'm going to
say all the things that I've maybe always wanted to
say and didn't say. But many of you sit in
churches and you have no clue what's going on. On.
You have no clue spiritually, you have no clue about
the end times because you're not taught about eschatology and
(07:10):
end time events. So you're really not prepared. Most of
most of you are most of you. Because I know
the churches in the valley. I can't speak for anybody
listening from maind of Florida, but I can speak about
those who live in a sally. You are not prepared.
(07:31):
You are not prepared because you are not sitting under
proper teaching and preaching. And I've said that many times,
and I say that unashamedly. Then we have the ongoing
conflict between Israel and Iran, and you know, maybe that
(07:52):
is unnerving some of you, But I would say this,
the end is not yet. There's going to be a
settling down of this conflict between Israel and Iran. We're
(08:12):
not right at the brink of World War three. I
don't believe that. I think this is just a part
of the rattling and the shaking that the Lord is
allowing in the earth. But I don't believe it's time yet.
We're closed, but this conflict, and it's a serious conflict.
(08:37):
It's a serious conflict. I think at last count, there
were something like thirty five dead five hundred and ninety
two injured in Israel. Though so some of those ballistic
missiles from Iran have reached Israel. They were not all intercepted,
(09:01):
although the United States Navy is out there helping Israel,
but a lot of missiles have gotten through and caused
damage all throughout the land of Israel and Israel. Their
campaign Rising Lion has been I think very effective, I
(09:24):
think very needed. In fact, in my opinion, it should
have been done a long time ago. But Israel always
weighs things because they're seen so negatively in the world
and people are so against Israel, so they're very cautious
about taking steps to do these kinds of things. But
(09:47):
they were really they were pushed to the brink. They
their back was against the wall. They had to make
a move or they would have been annihilated. I support
Israel obviously, and and I really have to say this,
(10:11):
I love the Iranian people. I love the Iranian people,
and Jesus is moving mightily in Iran, and many, many, many,
many people are getting saved in Iran, and women women
are leading house churches. For all of you out there
(10:32):
who don't believe women should be preachers. Shame on you,
because the women are the preachers and they're leading these
home churches. So I don't know what do you have
to say about that, those of you who are so
(10:53):
against women preachers. People are getting saved nevertheless, whether you know,
whether your theology is wrong, and it is, but many
are getting saved in Iran, and I'm happy about that.
I love the Iranian people, of course, we love you know,
I love the Russian people, I love the Chinese people.
(11:15):
But you have dictators leaders in place that are wicked
and evil, and they have people under them that follow
the same you know, dictates of the of whoever the
leader is. So it's it's never the people. We're not
(11:35):
against the people. We're against those who are ruling and
reigning over these specific countries. So with that in mind,
I wouldn't get all worked up about the conflict between
Iran and Israel because by the time this is over,
(11:59):
Iran is going to be totally neutralized, and hopefully, I
think one of the great hopes is that there will
be a regime change that will free the people. The
people are very oppressed under the Iatola's regime. And so
I hope there is a good regime change in the
(12:22):
nation of Iran, which is Persia. As you know Persia
from the Bible Esther, the book of Esther. Now Jesus
said in John sixteen thirty three, he said these things,
I have spoken to you that in me you may
have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. Be
(12:43):
of good cheer. I've overcome the world. And if there's
anything that should bring great comfort to you, it should
be these words from Jesus, because he says, I have
spoken to you that in me you may have peace.
(13:07):
If you're looking for peace, you'll only find it in Jesus.
Because he said so, he said, I have spoken to
you that in me you may have peace. The only
peace that you and I, any human being on the
(13:29):
face of this earth, can ever have, can only be
found in Jesus Christ. Period Then Jesus said, in the
world you will have tribulation. In other words, you and I,
as believers in Christ, we live in this world, and
(13:53):
he says you're going to have tribulation. That Greek words
lists this means pressure. It means pressure literally and figuratively, pressure, affliction, anguish, persecution.
(14:17):
So if you think you're going to live in this
world without pressure, anguish, affliction, and persecution, or you're just
kidding yourself. We will have it because Jesus said so,
and there is pressure. There's pressure on many Christians. Look
(14:37):
at those who have stood for life. Look at those
elderly people who stood for life and they were put
in prison. What do you think they feel like? They
had tribulations, they had persecution. But Jesus said this, He said,
be of good cheer. In other words, be happy, be joyful,
(15:01):
because I have overcome the world. That word in Greek
means conquered, subdued, prevailed to get the victory. So when
Jesus says I have overcome the world, he is saying
I have conquered death, hell in the grave. I've subdued it.
(15:25):
I have prevailed over all the works of the enemy
to get the victory. There you have it. In the world.
You will have pressure, persecution, affliction, and anguish. But be
of good cheer, be happy. I have overcome, I have prevailed,
(15:48):
I have prevailed on the cross to get the victory.
I thought I would leave you with these words from
the Book of Colossians. The apostle Paul's writing to the
Church of coloss and he says this he's and this
(16:13):
is my hope for all of you who have been
with me all these years. This is Colossians Chapter one,
verse ten. That you may walk worthy of the Lord.
That's my hope for you, that you walk worthy of
the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being truthful in every good work,
(16:38):
and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all
might according to his glorious power, for all patience and
long suffering with joy, getting thanks to the Father who
(17:02):
has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of
the saints in the light. He has delivered you and
I from the power of darkness and conveyed us into
the kingdom of the Son of His Love, in whom
(17:23):
we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn
over all creation. For by him all things were created
that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible
(17:49):
and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or principalities or powers,
all things were created through him and for him. And
he is before all things, and in him all things consists.
And he is head of the body the Church, who
(18:12):
is the beginning, the first born from the dead, that
in all things he may have the pre eminence. So
I leave you with those words. They're very encouraging words.
And also it's encouraging to know that Jesus is the
(18:38):
first born over all creation, and that he has created
everything that you and I can see and all the
things we cannot see. And he's the head of the body,
he's the head of the Church. He was in the beginning,
and he's the first born from the dead. And in
(19:01):
all things, we want Jesus Christ to have the pre eminence.
Always put Christ first. Always let him have the pre
eminence in your life, hopefully in your family, and hopefully
(19:23):
in your church. And I pray that you will walk
in great faith, because Scripture tells us we walk not
by sight but by faith. That your faith will stay strong,
(19:43):
that you will be strengthened by God's word. And as
I've said over the years, multiple multiple times, the word
of God will be your strength, and it will be
times of peace to you, and it will bring great
joy to you, and it will bring great health to you.
(20:07):
So stay in God's word, be faithful to God's word,
to read it and study it, meditate it, pray, be
faithful to church. Be a doer of God's words, James said,
(20:28):
be a doer of God's word, not just a here
And I pray that even though you have heard the
many things I've said over the years, I pray that
you have put those into effect. You have been you
have become a doer of the word. Amen. So I'll
(20:49):
just leave you again, letting you know that I have.
