Speaker 5 (00:46):
Disappointing, but not disheartening. The Rangers win the series, however,
they lose the game tonight, a winnable game that was lost.
We talk about it. Next, it's the dll AS Rangers Podcast.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
Hi.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
Yeah, how about that? That was a heck of a
matchup Trek's Scoobel against Corey Seeger and ultimately Schooble and
the Tigers get the victory. Terrek did not figure in
the decision of this game, but the Tigers do win
it two to one, taking only one game though in
the series and losing the season series the yor Texas

(01:22):
Rangers four to two. John Radigan, Here, it's the DLLs
Rangers Podcast. And look who's back. Abs is with us tonight.
She's been around more and more lately and we're ofughly
glad to have her a part of it. But this
is even bigger news. We got the profit over here.
Believe we got the band is back together. You see

(01:42):
what I'm saying, We got the band back together. You
know I said it from the very beginning. Jim Rockford's
already in there, say it's okay, And it is. I mean,
it's not not a horrible loss. It feels so much
different than those losses where the Rangers were so close
and yet so far earlier in this and Abs, this
was just I mean, again, you're facing Terrek.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
Scooble, You're facing the best team in baseball. Well, actually
they're a little bit of.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Skin, they are.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
But Terrek Scooble raining Cy Young, he's having a similar
campaign this season. And then we're going to get into it.
But Jacob Lats on the mound today, a pitcher that
did not expect to make this Sunday night baseball start.
It was supposed to be Nathan Vivaldi and Trek Scouble
will get into maybe the Rangers could have won with
that possibility. But yeah, I mean, did you think the

(02:34):
Rangers were going to win this game? Probably not. Did
Jacob Lats perform quite well better than my expectation? Absolutely?
So you know, I'm the Rangers take the series and
there's a chat that they won the series and that's
all that matters to me. And you know, I mean,
it would have been incredible to sweep because Corey Seeker

(02:54):
himself said starting off the second half strong is so important,
and Bruce Bochi, you know, echoed that momentum is huge
in this game. It would have helped with momentum, but
two out of three against one of the better teams
in baseball, against the ace of Trek Scouoble. I'm not complaining.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
No, they were by far the best team in baseball
before the break, but then they were in the midst
of a six game losing streak. Rangers gave it a
heck of a shot to make it a seven game
losing streak. But to your point about you know, maybe
almost expecting a loss. You looked at the batting order
tonight and you know you've in so from six on

(03:31):
down six, seven, eight, and nine. You've got Jonaheim, who's
obviously going to hit from the right side against the
left hander schoobl and the right side is way worse
for him than the left side is. Then you got
Cody Freeman making his major league debut, Justin Foscue and
zeke Ezekiel Durant, and it's like, you know, I heard

(03:52):
boats on the pregame show on the radio with Matt Hickson.
He said, you know, it's kind of old school. We
used to send the bench guys up right against a
pitcher like this and said take your hacks, you know,
meaning we know nobody's going to get a hit off
this guy. And see what we can do. See if
one of these guys can find a little lightning in
a bottle. It's a very difficult ask against Trek's scooble.

(04:16):
And those guys were exactly over with one, two, three, four, five,
six seven straight the strikeouts, Yeah, seven of the eleven.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
Fifteen total on the night for Rangers batters eleven with
Gooble on the mound, And you know, Bruce Bochi just
kind of said it best. This wasn't regarding this game
or the bottom of the lineup like we're talking about,
but regarding you know, players in Major League Baseball. I mean,
you can always go up against an easy guy and

(04:46):
you're in the big leagues. Sometimes it's a Sunday night
baseball matchup with Trek Scouoble on the mound, and you've
got to see what you've got to do. Cody Freeman,
we're going to talk about it his MLB debut. I mean,
on one hand, could you dream up a better scenario
for your story? But then on the other hand, you
got to go do it, you know, in that batter's box,
and it's a cool story. But then when you're putting

(05:06):
yourself to the test for the first time, and it's
the best in baseball. You get really quickly checked that, Hey,
I'm in the show now, and this is just how
it is. Sometimes it's the best that there is, and
then sometimes you get lucky. But it's baseball. And it
was a heck of a game today. It fell playoff atmosphere.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
Yeah, And actually I said it was his debut and
it really wasn't. He debuted on Friday as a pinch
runner and scored the game winning run in another game,
the first game back from the break, the first game
against the Tigers, another really close, tight fit baseball game.
In fact, the Rangers scored allowed only three runs. They

(05:44):
allowed the Tigers to score three runs in the series,
and it's the lowest total run scored against in the
series since last year, since way back in July of
twenty twenty four. I mean, that's an amazing number. That
signifies two things. One, the Rangers pitching continues to be excellent. Two,

(06:07):
the Tigers, at least lately have been almost as offensively
challenged as the Rangers were.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Really, well, you don't want to go that far, but
it is something to notice. The Tigers have been outscored
forty eight to eighteen during this season worst six game
losing streak, so they and like you mentioned, played three
runs or fewer and four of their last six losses.
So yeah, I mean, offense hasn't been something to come by.
And when you just sent six guys to the All

(06:34):
Star Game, right, you know that that is something that
you know, kind of makes you question a little bit.
But yeah, I mean with what the Rangers were presented today,
and we're going to get into Corey Seger who did
all the damage against Schooble. But it was a good game,
it was a good effort. It's Trek scouble. So I
think this one you just kind of appreciate that you

(06:56):
took this.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Yeah, Cory Seger is now eight for twelve elve against Schooble.
He got the first two, you know, his his first
two at bats were both hits. As Corey comes up
with the double, just the second extra base hit by
a left handed hitter this season against Trek Scoobel, and
then he had a single in the fourth inning and

(07:17):
if you were watching, you saw schoobl I mean, he
what what what gonna do? I don't know how to
get this guy out? And it was a very appropriate response.
And then when he finally did get him out as
Corey lined to second base, I mean he hit the
ball hard too, but he lined out to the second
baseman in the in the sixth in the sixth inning.

(07:39):
You know, then the schoobl kind of had the mock. God,
you know what, I can't I can't beat this guy. Yeah,
good for good for Corey Seeger to again send it
set an example of approach. Right, your approach is the
same even against a guy like Terrek Schouble, and the

(08:02):
results prove it works for Corey Seger.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
Well, Corey Seeger is not going to change what he
does against Trek Scouble because he's Corey Seeger. Right. You
might be Trek Scuble, but I'm Corey Seger, two time
World Series MVP in both leagues, so I think he
knows a thing or two. But yeah, I mean, Corey
Seeger has been on a tear. He has over one
thousand ops steering a streak right now, He's twenty twenty
games now, twenty one games on base fifth best in

(08:29):
Major League Baseball since June twenty ninth. June twenty fifth
and ops. So you know, Corey Seger is going to
be Corey Seger and do what he does. This matchup
is just so interesting because Schooble' is just one of
the dominant lefties in the game.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
Yeah, and you you were right on this. On Friday,
you had an opportunity to interview Schooble and his thing
is the change up. But in the past, and it's
kind of a it's almost have to throw a left
on left change up right, It's just you know, you
could lose it, it could hang, you know, there's things
lefties could do against it, it could leak on you.

(09:07):
So you just generally don't see it. But Trek Scooble
has started to throw it against lefties and that's something
you asked him about on Friday, a couple of days
before this start. Let's hear his answer.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Big adjustment that I've noticed in your last five or
six starts is the lefty lefty changeup. How did that
kind of come about? Was there a guy that you
kind of forced your hand to maybe make that adjustment
or just another thing that you wanted to add to
your arsenal to kind of be more of a weapon
out there.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
Yeah, it's just my best pitch and I wasn't using
it to lefties, and when you kind of take away
your best pitch, you just don't get as much miss
as much with as I would like to against lefties.
And yeah, I think the coaching, you know, staff came
to me. It's not that I didn't want to do it.
It's just like I didn't know I should do it.
You know, I liked my sinker and my slider, but
it's just not a one thing to use, you know
that in that aspect, And it's a tough pitch for
it as the hit. I think it's a tough pitch

(09:52):
for anybody to hit, you might as well throw it.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
Yeah, I mean, of course, right, it makes sense and
it was great. I mean, I'm glad you've got a
chance to talk to him about that. And they said
it on the National broadcast today. He's a nice guy.
In fact, you know Riley Green, when they were interviewing him,
they said, give us adjectives for as which again we'll
get into the National broadcast in a minute, give us

(10:15):
adjectives for what this guy is, who this guy schoobol
is And his first one was dog and then his
second one was nice. Right, right, he's a nice guy.

Speaker 6 (10:28):
He's like a fuzzy bear, right, It's just seems vicious
and scary, but he's so kind. I mean he talked
to me probably for ten minutes Friday, and then chatted
with him again Saturday. But yeah, I mean he's clearly
found something that worked. I mean, these lefties are hitting
five to six on that pitch and it's literally unhittable.

(10:50):
So it's just another thing that Schoobole added to his arsenal.
I actually talked to Jake Rogers, who caught him during
his cy Young season day earlier, and you know, I
was just asking him, what's it like to catch Errek
schoobl and that kind of campaign and adjustments made, and
you just really appreciate, you know, how spot on these

(11:10):
pitchers are and the dominance. I was even kind of
talking with my dad over the break about the run
and the streak of Terrek schoobl and it's almost Sandy
Kofax's ish and doing it at a high level for
multiple seasons and Schooble's early In that discussion, I'm well aware,
but it's impressive.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
It is from the left side. I mean, that's the
amazing thing. He's sill goes six and two thirds tonight.
One run was not earned. It came in on a
wild pitch. Four hits and no walks with those eleven strikeouts,
I mean he is. I mean, watching his precision and
watching his command is like watching a young Jacob de

(11:54):
Gram from the other side, right because and to have
that kind of power and that kind of precision from
the left side it is, it is awfully impressive, and
it's awfully intimidating, you know, just to ask Jonah and
Cody and Justin and Ze.

Speaker 6 (12:09):
But Cody got a good first taste of the big league.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
He did, he did. Indeed, he got his bat on
the ball. He hit the ball into right field his
second time up, struck out the first time. But anyway, yeah,
that is who Trek scoobl is. That is what we
expected from him tonight. In one run games, the Tigers
improved to thirty four and eleven. They're really good in

(12:33):
those stats that you.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
Wish Rangers right well to say, because I mean, that's
what we talked to Boach. I'd say, the whole entire
first half of the season, the Rangers were losing those
one run games, and he said, that's what makes a
ball club when you can win those one run games
and they are one of the best in baseball. And
I think that stat alone points to it exactly.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Yep, one hundred percent. Scooble went over one hundred pitches,
and I will say this, Jonaheim and his you know,
and Jonah didn't show much fight against against Scooble ended
up popping out to the first baseman twice and then
he struck out that final let bat. But it must
have been an eight or nine or maybe ten pitch
at bat. He was battling, and he got scooball up

(13:18):
to one hundred and five or one hundred and six
pitches and they had to take him out of the game.
And consequently incomes Holton and he throws the wild pitch
and Adolis Garcia scores from third and the Rangers tied
the game at that point. So that was really good
work by Jonaheim. One of those assists, if you will,
that won't appear anywhere in a box score.

Speaker 6 (13:40):
Right, Jonah's got to feel good about that. He was battling,
making Tarik sweat. Yeah, I mean it was a great sequence,
you know that Terrek threw. And just kudos to Jonaheim,
you know, I don't think that's something that's going to
get recognized as it should. But that was kind of
a momentum shift a little bit for the Rain And

(14:00):
if they hadn't got the Tigers had and got that
next run in the next inning, you know, I think
maybe the outcome would have been different, because again, momentum
is really big in this game.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
It is and the and the Rangers, you can it's
it's there's a clear difference. The Rangers are beginning to
believe right not only that they can win games like this,
and they do, but that they can score late, as
they did that on that Friday night game. You know,
they score late in the game and they win a
tight fit as Jimmy Johnson used to call them. It's

(14:31):
a tight fit as the The same day, the Cowboys
report to Oxnard, California, by the Way, for their training
camp to begin, and Jim Rockford says somewhere in the
chat here that he's there. So have fun in Oxnard, Jim,
and say hi to the Cowboys for us and to
our crew. I don't know if they're all out there yet.
When do they all go.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
Clarence Hill is.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
There, just Clarence is there? For now, but anyway, the
whole crew will be out there at some point. So
uh but anyway, Uh, you know, the Rangers are feeling
better about themselves and they should. They win two out
of three and they did the same thing. So they've
won two out of three from back to back first
place teams the Astros and the Tigers. Pretty good. We'll
take that.

Speaker 6 (15:10):
I'm bad.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
That's progress. That's getting better. They're back to five hundred
fifty and fifty after one hundred games. That's one hundred
down and sixty two more to play. We talk about
some of the ramifications that that a little bit more
about this game, and then ABS had a chance to
chat with the man who made his starting debut today,

(15:32):
Cody Freeman. It's all coming up. It's the DLLs Rangers Podcast.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
Rod's have you ever been sitting at home no plans?

(17:44):
So let's just finish up a couple of things more
about this game, and then we want to get into
the wonderful story by bread Cody Freeman.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
Apparently they were giving out a superhero.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
Yes, bobbleheads, jamn, I mean Seger.

Speaker 6 (17:59):
Well you kind of like Clark Kent right now with
those glasses.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
With these glasses, I got them rocking now, Yes, well
I got an under here. Yeah no, I don't.

Speaker 6 (18:09):
Maybe they could have used you.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
And the d LLS is what's you know, branded on
me after all the d LLS shirts I wear. But anyway,
so the game, you know, the series, the trend, you know,
it's all pointing up. The game wasn't didn't point up,
but again that you can scratch out a run against

(18:31):
Terrek Scooble. He you know, he was charged with the
run though it wasn't earned. You can scratch out a
run against Tererek Schouble. That's that's progress, especially given the
circumstances of the game for the Tigers, they absolutely needed
a win. And that's another reason I was thinking, because
Abs and I wanted to talk about this, how much
different would it have been if Nathan Valdi was out there?

(18:54):
And it's an it's a really interesting question. But I
was thinking even when Evo was scheduled to be the guy,
and because it wasn't until like Boach did his postgame
interview last night and then came back into the media room,
so like, you know, unless you're paying attention, you didn't
even think there was anything wrong. And then all of

(19:15):
a sudden he came back, Oh yeah, Evo's got back tightness.
He can't start tomorrow, and so you know, we're all like,
oh geez that you know, I certainly ruined the Sunday
night Baseball Marquee matchups. ESPN. They had to be disappointed.
But then you see what Jacob Blatz did, and you go, well,
I don't know that Evo's numbers. The Evil probably would

(19:39):
have gone longer than five. But to get five innings
out of Jacob blatz six hits, he worked out of
a fair amount of trouble. He had to run an
earned run of course in the game, and then he
didn't walk anybody and he struck out three. So, man,
I got no issues with that performance.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
We talked to Jacob well, we talked to Bruce Boci postgame,
pre game, and I said, boach, is Jacob Latts you know,
a pleasant surprize. Oh yeah, he said, I don't even
want to say the word surprise, because he said I
know what he's capable of. I know he can be
a starter. We just have good rotation. We haven't really

(20:20):
needed him in that position. But he's showed up and
I think he's done an incredible job. He's made nineteen
relief appearances this year, he's made a third start. He's
thrown at least three innings in each of his last
three appearances, and it's been remarkable. I mean, it's games

(20:42):
that you're just hoping isn't too bad, and then he
leaves the game. Scoreless.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
Yeah, well, and let's don't forget about that. No, No,
we took into the sixth inning. So yeah, he's he's
done a great job in any role, and that's fantastic.
And Evo, I think the biggest difference would have been,
you know, maybe first of all, Evil wouldn't have gotten
in the kind of trouble and more Lats did get
into trouble and Worry did allow the run. Is he

(21:08):
allowed three singles in four hitters to lead off the
second inning. Unlikely that Evil would have done. This probably
would have been like the Friday night game. This would
have been a zero zero thing, you know, going deeper.
So yeah, it would have been great to have Nathan
Evaldi in there. But Jacob Latz did a great time
to ask for more. No, and speaking of Evaldi in

(21:30):
the conversation with Boach before the game, Evo is a
possibility to come back as soon as Wednesday.

Speaker 6 (21:38):
Yeah, correct, Wednesday against the Athletics. Really, all the notes
say is that you know, he scratched you to back tightness,
and he experienced back tightness during browding practice on Saturday.
So the team's going to reevaluate him, consider treatments. But there's,
you know, not a on paper timetable, but they're looking
at that Wednesday of things kind of.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
And more good news about Wednesday is the fact that
John Gray could be back by Wednesday. Now, if EVO
and John Gray come back that day, you can be
almost sure that John Gray will go to the bullpen.
And I believe, and I was kind of floating this
around to my sources on Friday, and nobody wanted to
commit to this, but I think the fact that the

(22:19):
Rangers are quote unquote rushing John Gray, and I say
that we thought he'd get at least two more rehabs
starts right after the one he's about to make. They
seem to be hurrying him along. And that could be
one of two things. One they need him for the bullpen. Yeah,
two trade bait. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (22:42):
You know, so I like where Uncle Todd says, lats
is Bradford without strikeout of Bill.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Yeah, he throws a little harder than Bradford.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
I'm gonna bump them up.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
Yeah, but it's okay, you know, And I don't mind.
I don't mind either one of those. I'm sad for.
Obviously we're all said for Bradford, but I think that
I think that's a pretty good comparison there. That's a
pretty good comp So, you.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
Know, I was looking at the numbers and a good indicator.
It's a series. I'm not gonna, you know, die on
this hill, but a good stat The Rangers only had
a few hits throughout this and it was around four
hits per game. I mean a buck fifty batting average. Yeah,
not the best, but they're making the most of their opportunities.

(23:31):
And I think that was a really big thing that
Boach tried to implement and get in their heads before
you know, the All Star break. It's just the plate
discipline and battling through those at bats, and I think
that's why you got that a bat from Jonah him today.
You know, I think if that would have been in
the later half of the first half, he would have,

(23:51):
you know, caud E quits maybe a little bit early.
So I think it's just getting the good looks at
the plate, making the most of the opportunities that you have,
putting the ball into play, and just you know, it's
an approach that needs to work for the Rangers because
if they're not scoring four runs per game, then maybe
they're not winning and maybe this is how you change that.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
Yeah, there's no doubt about that. And the reality is
that this team needs to hit, obviously better than they
did against the Tigers in this series. They've been averaging
in the first two weeks in July at the plate
before the All Star break, in the two weeks that
preceded it, they were averaging north of five and a

(24:33):
half runs per game, and they obviously didn't come close
to that over the course of this series against the Tigers,
who did pitch well, but they only threw Trek scouble once, right,
and the other guys are not you know, they're not
Trek Scuobel, they're not Jacob de Ground, they're not Nathan
e All. So you need to do better than what
they did offensively. But I think to your point, productive outs, right,

(24:56):
if you see productive outs, which we saw, if you
see great ed bats like the one from from Jonah
him there, that really helps. And I think it's all
a reflection of the buy in, the absolute buy in
on what Brett Boone was selling.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
Right.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
Yeah, they love the whole team, the organization connected at
bats right, everybody leads to the next guy, They helped
the next guy, their team at bats.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
Yeah, No, I agree. I'm really excited for the numbers
in the second half. And we didn't get to talk
about it because we did not have a postgame show yesterday.
But Kamar Rocker, Yeah, what an outing from him. I
was pleasantly surprised with that as well.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
Yeah, no doubt about that because and like Bruce Bochie
said multiple times since, and I actually tweeted about this
as the game was going on. In that fourth inning,
Rocker walks the first two and you're like, oh God,
here we go again, and the old you know, old
Kamara is coming back, and he got out of that inning. Yeah,
I mean that is phenomenal. And bo referenced it last

(26:01):
night in post came and I heard him with Matt
Hicks again today and he referenced it again. I mean,
that was the point that Boat wanted to make about
the growth of Kamar Rocker, right, it was demonstrated, perhaps
best in that particular inning. Now, he also didn't allow
a hit until the sixth inning, which is fantastic, and

(26:24):
he did a much yes, and he did a much
better job covering the base fielding his position. It's like
Boat says, once that ball leaves your hand, you're a fielder,
right and you have to be ready to field the position,
and Kamar did has done a much better job at that.
It's amazing, you know, if you will, what he accomplished

(26:46):
in one minor league start. But it wasn't like that
was such a huge start. It was that the light
bulb went right. It's like, oh my god, I better
do this stuff or I'm not going to stay up here.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
Right because somebody else wants that spot. Yeah, the biggest
thing that we talked to about yesterday's pregame was he
noticed his pace pace was completely different. And baseball is
a fast game until you learn how to slow it down.
And slowing it down is going to be the best
way that you can you know, orchestrate your your game.

(27:20):
And it's a work in progress. And when you have
to learn at the big league level, like mar made
a few starts that I know that the Rangers weren't
necessarily thrilled about because they wanted him to develop at
the minor league level still, but their hand was a
little forced with a few injuries. So it's it's a
really difficult thing to mentally go up and down, back

(27:42):
and forth. So I mean props to Kamar for.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
Yeah, for what he's says, and a couple of things
to remember and expect. You know, it's definitely a possibility
that he can take a step backwards. He's taken two
or three steps forward right since he came back from
that minor league stint, and there's a chance he takes
step backward, as we've seen with Jack Leder. Jack Leider
started the season so well and then a step back,

(28:06):
and then a couple of good starts and then another
step back, and of course he did have the blister
to put him on the il there for a short time.
So that's what you're going to get out of rookie pitchers,
and that's what you have to expect out of rookie pitchers.
But it appears that the Rangers have done everything ultimately
correctly with these two young men.

Speaker 6 (28:27):
Right.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
You can see these two guys continuing to learn, especially
the way Lighter, Yeah, the lighter and Rocker, especially the
way lighter is just a sponge to Evaldi, to de
Graam to everybody. Right, you can see these two guys
becoming that one two punch for the Rangers rotation for long.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Term future, almost like they did it in college right right.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
And that's the thing, you know, Rocker has never had
to pitch because he could throw right, he could overpower
that was happening in the minor league level. He could
get away with two pitches at double A and triple A.
It was fine. Now he gets here, these guys are
the best. He's got a pitch yea. And Boach talked
about that today too on the pregame show. He's pitching

(29:16):
now right, He's got just throwing and he learned it quick.
Good for him.

Speaker 6 (29:20):
Well, my favorite word in sports is getting exposed, because
anybody can can be good to a certain level. But
when you get exposed and you can make adjustments, that's
when you're a professional athlete, you know, because like you said,
you can throw, maybe you can't pitch. So it's just
learning those things. And I actually talked to Ceci Sabathia
over the All Star break, and you know, because Nathan

(29:42):
hav already shared with me that's one of his two
room mentors, and he really tried to be a sponge
when he was coming up and he wants to kind
of give that to these younger guys as well. And
DC called Nate, you know, the perfect teammate to have
because yeah, because he's he's able to pour into these
guys and invest and I just I think if you're
a young guy like Jack Lder, Kamar Rocker, Cody Freeman,

(30:06):
I mean what you are around on a daily basis
at the park, you're one of the luckiest players in
the league, you know.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the guy that Nathan Valdi is.
And thankfully the Rangers signed him up for a few
more years, so he'll be around for a little while
being able to help mentor and teach these guys. We've
got more coming up. We're going to try to get
to that Cody Freeman interview. We want to talk about
the national broadcast today. I saw lots of lots of

(30:33):
stuff on Twitter about it, so it's all coming up.
That is the next on the DLLs Rangers podcast.

Speaker 6 (30:43):
Walking from my car to the field today, Yeah, it's
about one hundred and five degrees.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
It felt like pavement out there.

Speaker 6 (30:52):
Oh yeah, and you know what made me what popped
in on my mind? And although I love being at
the field, a lake day would be so fun and
it would be best with a rugged road cooler because
I don't want to make a ton of trips and
if I me and my family when we would go
to the lake, we would load up at the gas station,
We'd get all the snacks, all the peanut butter and

(31:14):
jellies in the world, put a cooler. We'd be out
on the water for hours. And you can do that
with Rugged Road. They're massive coolers. They're heavy duty, they're light,
so you're not gonna, you know, break your back when
you're carrying them, easy to transport, and you don't have
to compromise performance. It's really thought through. They can also
get wet. They can float, if I'm correct, they can.

(31:36):
They can float all the things, so you're not going
to lose your precious cargo, which is water and gatorade
on the water. So gear up for your next adventure
with Rugged Road cooler, reliable, durable, built to be used,
ten percent off using code DLS at Rugged Road Outdoor
dot com.

Speaker 5 (31:53):
All right, so you know, again they seem they might
seem up pricing, they're not. And and it won't matter
if you use monarch money because you can get the
best cooler or the best anything if you handle your
money correctly. The finance tool that people actually love is
Monarch Money. It's in over one million households in the

(32:17):
United States and it was named the Wall Street Journal's
best budgeting app of twenty twenty five. So we recommend
that you get that thing. Remember, financial stress is one
of the top reasons that relationships fall apart. And Monarch
money but it teaches you how to have those conversations
with each other. So we can't encourage you enough to

(32:39):
get Monarch money get control of your finances. Use the
code DLLLSS at monarchmoney dot com and you'll get fifty
percent off your first year. So just a quick question
on those those snacks you were putting in. Yeah, the
peanut butter and jellies were these uncrustables.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
We do love uncrustables, but my grand father has made
me I rads it's got to be in the thousand
thousands of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Apple jelly is
the best.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Thank god, you don't do the uncrustable. The crust is
the best part.

Speaker 6 (33:15):
I mean, I like them, but like there's nothing like
a PBJ made with love. You know. My actually, my
family every birthday, my mom ships me because they don't
sell my favorite apple jelly, and the store ships me
like eight.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
Nice stars for the year. So it's like you can
make your own peanut butter and jellies.

Speaker 6 (33:33):
There's I think there was one kid during the College
World Series and he was like, I eat one every
single day. I could potentially put up a similar you.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
Know, on the Rangers charter, they always had really good
food for us, and you'd come in there and a
lot of it, Like especially when we're leaving the city,
you know, we were in and going somewhere y it
would be, uh, there would be food at the front
of the plane that was catered in by one of
the local places. If you're in Boston, there's going to
be clam chowder or some lobster rolls, you know whatever.

(34:03):
So they had great food there. You know what I
was always reaching for up in the upper bin up here,
peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I could stick him in
my bag and then I could take them to take
him to the room later and have it for a
snack get late at night. Love me some peanut butter
and jelly. So anyway, yeah, that's just a quick sidebar
on PB and Jay talk. But let's talk about this
national broadcast because again baseball, you know, Dave Raymond and

(34:29):
Mike Bassett and David Murphy and Laura and all of them,
they become our pals. You know, we see them every night,
and you know, we're lucky. I mean, they are friends
of ours, but I know they're friends of yours too,
because they're so conversational. They're such a good job. So anyway,
then you get you know, I mean, kyl Ravitsch is

(34:49):
an accomplished broadcaster, he's great, great, Eduardo Perez, you know Buster,
only these guys are all great, but somehow, man, it's
it's just like, I don't know, it's just like going
to somebody else's church or it's just strange. You know,
you can't get your arms around it. And then and

(35:09):
then they give you things like, uh, you know, hey,
do you know that in this town they actually call
a Doley Scarcia el bombie? Like I'll be damn. You mean,
like that this t shirt says or that tea. You know,
we had an l Blondie, I mean, we had the
whole We get that they call him el bombie. So anyway,

(35:33):
things like that, and I saw somebody tweet, you know,
do they realize on this national broadcast that the Rangers
have been an organization for some fifty years, more than
fifty years. They act like we're the Savannah Bananas, you know,
They're like this cute little franchise right down here in Texas.
Oh it's so sweet.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
Well, you know the graphics Sunday Night Scaries. Yeah, it's interesting,
it said Marcus Simeon and Corey Seeger and then the
other hitters, you know, like I'm like, yeah, pretty good
other hitters. So yeah, I mean it's it's one sided.
It's a national broadcast, you know, yeah it is. But no,
I think that just goes to show how great our

(36:12):
local broadcast is. And the you know, the Rangers Sports
Network and those guys do such a great job. They
definitely make it so much more exciting to listen to.
I mean, I want to listen to Dave Raymond twelve
times out of ten.

Speaker 5 (36:25):
Yeah, yeah, it's it's amazing. They all they all do
a great job. So tough watch tonight. And then they're
putting in the ninth inning in a two to one game.
You know, we got some guy in there talking about
mascots and Thailand and and the what is that that
cold now it's the coldplay cam. So yeah, we got
all that working. And I'm like, it's a two to

(36:46):
one game. Let's talk about the game, right, It's not
like it's fourteen to one. Right, that's when you pull
that guy in there and the moon thing whatever that
guy is. So anyway, we miss our guys. Yeah, we'll
get him back tomorrow when this team starts a series
against the A's. And you know, I was talking to
speaking of our broadcasters on Friday, Dave Raymond and Matt

(37:07):
hicks and I were having a chat in the dugout,
and Hicksy brought up he said, you know, with these
three teams, this nine game series, he said, if they're
if the Rangers are going to make that five and
five road trip, which was a significant accomplishment, especially the
way it started, if they're going to make that five
and five road trip count and amount to anything. He said,

(37:30):
they got to go six and three on this homestand
and now the Rangers are off to that start, right,
And I think this was I don't think, I know,
this was the hardest challenge, right, This was the biggest
hurdle they had to get over was the Tigers. So
now they got to take care of business against the A's.
They got to take care of business against the Braves,
who are big underachievers. They've continued to underachieve, whereas the

(37:54):
Rangers appear to have turned a corner. And so truly,
you know, at this point, I think six and three
is great. I think, at this point, sweep one of
them and lose one to the other. If you will
take two or three from the other, and now you're
seven and two on that homestand that'd be beautiful.

Speaker 6 (38:12):
That would nothing like home cooking. I want that, nothing
like home cooking. I think the Al West Division matchup
will be good. I think the Rangers enjoy being at home.
I think they're happy to start the second half at home.
And you know, I mean, I know that for fans,
it's disappointing that Jacob de Gram didn't do anything at

(38:34):
the All Star Game, or more Rangers didn't go. But
it takes a toll. I mean, I was hanging around,
you know, after the Rangers got done with VP Tiger's side,
and three of their All Stars were sick. So you know,
they come back and they're feeling groggy and not great.
Where would you rather have meaningful baseball and your best players,

(38:55):
you know, at the All Star Game on a red carpet,
or in a game when it matters in the second
half off against ale West Division rival, you know so Yeah,
I mean I think momentum is the big thing here.
See youre talked about the importance of starting it off strong,
and Rangers did so. If the Rangers continue to do so,
thankes our job A lot of it does.

Speaker 5 (39:15):
And then the other thing that's going to be an
interesting watch here is cal Raley and his home run production.

Speaker 6 (39:22):
After the home run, he's not my friend, Brad, is he?

Speaker 5 (39:25):
Well? Because of the computer thing?

Speaker 6 (39:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (39:27):
Did you look at our computer?

Speaker 6 (39:28):
It's right there.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
I see the scraw go there, I see it better
right there MLB history. Yeah, that's pretty cool if you did.
I hope you guys saw that picture of Abs with
him and she gave him the ball, which was very kind.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
I would considering he won a million dollars set.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Did he Did he get a car too? They used
to get a.

Speaker 6 (39:47):
Car, They used to get a car.

Speaker 5 (39:48):
I think it's just the no car. We only get
a million now? Damn. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (39:52):
Did we talk on did we touch on Chris Martin? No?
We got to talk about that exited the game today,
left calf strain.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
I mean it was tough. First of all, Chris Martin,
you know, gave up and takes the loss and gave
up the the the winning run. And god, those two
first hits were excuse me, hits. One Corey tries to
bare hand it. It's just such a slow roller. He
has to bare hand it if he's got any chance,
and and he couldn't get the handle. But again that's

(40:22):
an infield hit. And then the next one is dust
out of his reach, but he knocks it down and
keeps the runners in check at that point. I mean,
that was just a that was just a you know,
those both should have been outs. And then Chris Martin's
not in the situation where even has to throw the
pitch where it looked like he landed wrong and and

(40:44):
he just had to leave the game immediately. So and
that was on the one, uh you know, that was
on the one that ultimately gave gave the Tigers the lead.
And that's it was the the price or the Perez
went so perezent. No, it was vir Lank, that was
vir Link.

Speaker 6 (41:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
Anyway, Yeah, Chris Martin will be fine he's a tough guy.
He's thirty nine. Things like this happened when you're thirty nine,
you know. So, but but he'll he'll be fine. And
it was it was, you know, a great job by
this bullpen. Luke Jackson came in, he went one in

(41:26):
two thirds, Hoby Milner, Hoby Milner just a third of
an inning, which is good. He didn't need he doesn't
need extra work. And then, uh, you know, Martin would
have would have gone at least that full inning and
then and pressed into duty. Caleb Bosley did a great job.

Speaker 6 (41:43):
Yeah, I mean you didn't expect him at that start, Nope,
was unexpected.

Speaker 5 (41:48):
Yeah. Yeah. And the Rangers actually lowered have lowered their
e RA, which is best in baseball this series, right
against the team that had the best record in baseball
going into this series. The Rangers have actually lowered their ERA.
So that's absolutely fantastic and it's it's hopeful. Right. Do

(42:14):
they still need a closer? And I see all the
I see all all those Yeah, I see all the
chat about, hey, you know, need a closer, need a closer.
I think they're working on yeah, right, I think, oh,
you know that they're kicking tires.

Speaker 6 (42:27):
Young is not sleeping right now. No, I want to
point out something that's also I'm going to look at
it from a half last, half full kind of perspective
because Rangers fans aren't going to like these numbers. Evan
Carter eight for forty and is he's hitting two hundred
and those at bats why at Langford one for fourteen

(42:50):
as last few at bats, eight strikeouts over the last
four games. So those are two guys that normally do
a whole lot for this lineup. I mean, we looked
at today that White Langford has the most home runs
for the Rangers. They haven't done anything as of late,
especially Evan Carter in the month of July. So the
Rangers still winning without them. That's a good sign, you know,

(43:12):
because it is and you know, it.

Speaker 5 (43:14):
Harkens back to one of the comments that Kevin Pillar
made about this team. And look, it was very untimely
and very out of character for Kevin and not something
he should have said. But one of the comments he
made was at the beginning of the year, we were

(43:34):
winning and remember eight and two was the start to
this season. The Rangers won eighty percent of their first
ten games, right, he said we were winning, but guys
were so freaked out over the individual about their individual stuff.
And he goes and I'm like, guys, let's enjoy this.
We're winning. And I wonder and I hope, and I
think that once Brett Boone got here, right, it was

(43:57):
like he keeps preaching, we're all together, this is all
to get We're all working together. It's team efforts, collective
d right. You keep preaching that, and then ultimately it lands, right,
It lands perfectly, And the Rangers I think are probably
benefiting from that now, I think to your exact point.

(44:17):
And by the way, they're also doing all of this
without Josh Young, who they count and who by the way,
has hit home runs in two straight games. Down to
the Yeah, I'll go half full. I'll go half full
with you. So yeah, I think there's I think there's
a lot to be optimistic about right now. But again,
this will change tomorrow or by Tuesday. If they come

(44:39):
out and don't show offense and don't show team offense
and don't start to get back into that offensive, you know,
stretch like they had in the early part of July.
You know, if they can't get back to that right
here out of the break. We're going to be concerned
again because you can you can only pitch so well, right,
and if you can't score, you can't win. Apps.

Speaker 6 (45:03):
I agree, Cory. We kind of talked to him about, uh,
was it game one? Yeah, it was game one that
his big hit was what secured the win for the
Rangers and.

Speaker 5 (45:13):
Jeffable Cory singer.

Speaker 6 (45:17):
It is believable, it really is. Jeff Jeff asked, you know,
you guys haven't really had a hot strek. Do you
feel like it's on the way, and you know, Seeger
very Seager fashion said, oh, you know, you can't really
predict it. Nice to win one, but you're going to
focus on tomorrow. You can't really predict a hot streak.
But baseball is such a contagious game that, you know,

(45:39):
I mean you can even see it on the opposite
side with the Tigers losing six straight. I mean, these
these streaks do happen. Seeger's on a twenty one game
on base streak. Uh, And it seems that when these
things start to click, the dominoes start to fall. So
Corey Seeger, you know, starting to do Corey Seeger things.
He had a slow first half. Marcus demon got on

(46:01):
that little bit of a hot stretch lately. Alhgashioka. You
may not notice it, but he's been pretty lights out
in like nine of his last twelve games. So yeah,
I think it's just I think they're all going to
rally around team success. I think great point. Brett Boon's
going to make sure that that's a thing because kind
of can tell that energy is a little lighter, you know,

(46:25):
oh yeah, yeah, And guys aren't walking around with their
heads down if they're over or things like that. You know,
they're they're winning meaningful baseball games, and the guys are
excited about that, and I think it's a really good
sign for the Rangers.

Speaker 5 (46:37):
There are one hundred games in, they've got sixty two left,
and there's a lot going on around the game right now,
some of which actually involves Rangers or former Rangers. We
talk about that next on the DLLs Rangers podcast.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Ryan Reynolds here from mid Mobile. With the price of

happening for you guys, so be sure to follow all
of the socials as well and tune into the daily ships.

Speaker 5 (49:19):
Yeah. Absolutely, So let's get to some of these other
stories happening around the game right now. How about the Brewers.
The Brewers have won ten games in a row. ABS.
They swept the Dodgers this weekend. They've swept the Dodgers
in over six games straight, two series over the course

(49:40):
of two weeks. One before the break, this one right
after the break. It's an amazing run. In that time.
I think they've outscored the Dodgers like thirty one to
fifteen or something like that. Just crazy numbers. Today was
a tight one. It was six to five, was the
final in that game. And Clayton Kershaw left hissed, yeah,

(50:01):
and he got pulled in the fifth inning, and he
mostly I think, was maybe not even as angry at
himself as he was at his team. Three errors in
the game, two of them in that all important fourth inning,
and The reality is that Abby is a reminder about
something we haven't talked about, but that the Rangers haven't

(50:24):
talked about today. But the Rangers still lead major League
Baseball with a nine to ninety one fielding percentage. I
think it's up to eight seven or eight games in
a row now with no errors. That helps, ye, that
saves you runs, right, gives you win games.

Speaker 6 (50:42):
You're not gonna win a sloppy ball game, you know.
And Clayton Kershaw, I don't think he dramatically exited. Did
you see the clip?

Speaker 5 (50:51):
Yeah, I mean he threw the glove, you know, he
he kind of tossed the glove hard onto the bench.
But it wasn't like you know some of the ones
we've scene where somebody takes a bat and where's out
the cooler?

Speaker 6 (51:04):
Or oh yeah, he's he's way too old for that career.
Ass that I think's he's going to go home and
talk his kids in about him.

Speaker 5 (51:11):
Maybe make him a PBJ, Yeah that's right, maybe an UNCROUDB. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (51:14):
I mean the Dodgers, you know, on a little bit
of a losing streak as well, right, And I don't know,
I was kind of talking to Doubt about potential of
you know, the postseason and World Series. I think it's
going to be fun. I think it's going to be
teams that you don't really expect.

Speaker 5 (51:31):
It to be. Well, a little bit like twenty twenty
three when it was the Texas Rangers in the Arizona
Diamondbacks two wild card teams.

Speaker 6 (51:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (51:40):
And but at this point, though, if the Rangers are
able to figure out a way to get into the
tournament and then with that pitching rotation that they have
that starts with the Grum and Vivaldi, maybe get into
the you know, into the World Series again, people will
like that won't be quite as unexpected right as it
was in twenty twenty three. But I agree with you.

(52:01):
I mean, nobody at the beginning of the year was
expecting the Tigers to be able to be a World
Series team. Despite their playoff success last year, they still
weren't a team anybody was thinking would do it. And
so if it's teams like that, if it's a team
like the Brewers on the other side instead of the Dodgers,
how fantastic would that be? Yeah? I mean, I think
I think there's going to be some fun in the fall.

Speaker 6 (52:23):
Yeah, it'd be electric. We put out some questions on Twitter.
Do we want to get to those?

Speaker 5 (52:27):
Get to those?

Speaker 6 (52:28):
I like this question. At what point is avoiding lefty
on lefty matchups overkill? Did we really think tripa A
hitters were better options than Carter and Smith Well, I mean.

Speaker 5 (52:40):
No, they weren't. They weren't more prepared to face a
Trek Schooble. So at that point, though, you know, Schooble
is just so dominant, you might as well play the matchup, right,
It's so unlikely that even those guys, I mean, it's
not like, you know, Smithy's a great hitter, but it's

(53:01):
not like any of them are going to have or
have or have numbers that show they have great success
against Trek Scuoble. Let's don't forget he no hit the
Rangers in Detroit in May through five or six innings
and then they finally scratch went out. They actually got
a run. Ironically, they lost that game two to one. Two.
That was a Patrick Corbyn game, and Patrick pitched really

(53:23):
well against Schooble. Nobody was thinking that was going to
be a big pitcher's duol, but certainly at least not
from the Tiger standpoint, but it was because Patrick Corbyn
pitched well, so I get that question. I also heard,
as I mentioned earlier in the show, I heard Boach
saying kind of old school where you tell these bench
players get up there, take your hacks. It's almost like

(53:46):
throwing them to the wolves, like see what you can
do finger swim.

Speaker 6 (53:49):
Right.

Speaker 5 (53:50):
Yeah, so it's a good question. It's it's legitimate. And
there was a question about, you know, why not pinch
hit Smith Metti there in the seventh thing. Yeah, that's
that's probably a legitimate question there, especially you know after
Jonah had struck out. But again they got the run,
they got the run and make it might have but

(54:12):
to that point might have gotten two homes.

Speaker 6 (54:13):
Right, Yeah, good questions. That was the There were multiple
multiple questions on the lineup that was.

Speaker 5 (54:22):
That was the best one. Okay, we didn't have a few.
In the chat.

Speaker 6 (54:25):
Somebody mentioned the move to the Phillies that I talked
about upstairs.

Speaker 5 (54:29):
Yeah, so David Robertson not going to be the Rangers closer. Yeah,
David Robertson has agreed. Uh, this is according to a source,
but to join the Phillies for the third time. Abby
in his career. Third times he was. He was with
them in nineteen, he came back in twenty two, and
now he's back in twenty five. Here's the amazing thing.

(54:52):
He's his own agent to say. We have talked about
he's signed, according to sources, a sixteen million dollar deal.
Now it's pro rated, so it's you know, he's only
going to get obviously less than half of that, but still,
you know what's he going to get seven eight, six,
even six seven million for the rest of this season.
That's I guess it'd be a third, so more like

(55:14):
five or six million for the rest of this season.
That's pretty good. He gets to spend basically the first
part of the season one hundred games with his family
in Providence, Rhode Island, and then he comes in pitches
for a you know if you will, and again his
playoff record is unbelievable, so not a bad gig. It'll

(55:34):
be interesting to see how well has he stayed in shape,
how much has he been throwing. We haven't seen a
whole lot of any of that. We talked about it
the other day on the show. But anyway, those of
you who would hope that he would be here as
a potential closer not going to happen because he had
more experience with the Phillies and with Jeff and I
talked about this the other day. By the way, Jeff's

(55:56):
on vacation, so it's going to be sometimes it's going
to be Abs and me the whole week, basically today
through Thursday. But anyway, he Robertson, you know, wanted East coat.
You know, I think he that's a little easier. It's
a little little easier trip, easier for the family and
all that kind of stuff. Blue Jays, by the way,
are hot to speaking of the East Coast. Uh, they're

(56:18):
keeping that East Coast juggernaut. The Yankees at Bay. Blue
Jays have now won ten straight at home. Abs. Yeah,
and again they're they're they're you know, leading the American
League East. They're a really good team. But when we
talk about the teams that are the best in the

(56:39):
American League, right, so in the Central you've got the Tigers.
Rangers have taken four of the six games against the Tigers,
right they win the season series four and two the
Blue Jays, and we're going to see them. But the
Blue Jays just don't scare me that much, right, despite
what they're doing. The Yankees would be the Yankees. And

(57:02):
then you know, in the West, I mean I believe that,
you know, Houston's in a stretch right now where they've
lost eight of nine or nine of ten something like that.
The Mariners don't really see it. I mean, I'm saying,
if the Rangers can get their offense together, get theirs together,
as it were, they can beat anybody in this American league.
Are you not thinking it? You're not buying it. That's

(57:25):
more than half full, isn't it that that's the glasses
three quarters?

Speaker 6 (57:29):
That is very full.

Speaker 5 (57:30):
I'm an optimistic guy.

Speaker 6 (57:31):
What if you squint and tilt your head, you know,
maybe might be able to see it. No, I don't know.
I think there's a lot of tight divisions. I think
it's going to be hopefully like down to the wire,
you know. But I will say what I've learned about
covering these national events. I mean, I'm so happy I
was able to go to All Star. You really kind

(57:53):
of see player relationships form and that way when trades happen.
Like maybe I'm not as surprise. I'm like, oh, I
did see them talking a lot. I say that because
Blattie I mean, Blattie's not going anywhere. He just signed
a pretty lucrative deal, and Aaron Judge isn't going anywhere either,
But cool to see them take BP together back to back,

(58:13):
and you know, you do kind of see those relationships
for him. I think there were a few guys talking
to de Grom, you know, and and that softening the
lead a little bit. I don't know, but yeah, I mean, Rads,
I like your optimism.

Speaker 5 (58:28):
You just ain't buying it. It's okay, not buying it
as much.

Speaker 6 (58:31):
But with the trade deadline, we did get a question
on do you think the Rangers is going to address
the bullpen or hitting.

Speaker 5 (58:37):
I don't know if they'll. I don't know that they'll
be able to do both. So I think that what
they would do is address the bullpen, I think, and
I think that there are you know, options out there,
guys who are probably good and fall within the budget
of what the Rangers are. They're still because what they're

(58:59):
still going to try to do at this point, it's
going to be a hard sell for Chris Young to
try and sell Ray Davis and the ownership group on
going over the luxury tax threshold. I think they're really
going to try to stick to it this year, and
you see what they can do right. And so I

(59:21):
believe that I said on the show the other day,
or maybe it was on our Friday show, I said,
the Rangers went shopping at the trade deadline last year,
but they went shopping at the dollar store. Right. I
don't want them shopping at the damn dollar store. This
would be at least a little better than the Dollar Store.
Now they're at Target, right, and they're going to try
to get somebody. We're not at Demans yet. We'll go

(59:44):
to Target. We'll get something nice, a good quality product
made at Target, and it's probably one that you're renting.
And anyway, we'll do that. We'll get into names this week.
I want to get into some of the names that
are out there that are doable for their rusty.

Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
His favorite quote is be the best and the best
asset that we can have when we get the most
from the guys that we already have. Yeah, you know,
no doubt he loves getting the best. And when you
look at the World Series season, that was the best
of every single piece. So you know, the pieces work,
but the reality of every single person, you know, at

(01:00:21):
the peak of their you know, ceiling and caliber player
that they can be. Maybe unlikely, but you're hoping that
a few click at the right time, no.

Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
Doubt about it. And see why. His other favorite quote
is you can never have enough pitching, which is why
you would know. We're answering that question in the way
that they probably won't get a bat and an arm,
but I think they're really going to work hard to
get an arm. So that's going to do it for us.
We appreciate you hanging out late with us. We appreciate
all that stuff in the chat and everything on Twitter.

(01:00:52):
It's been fun. The Rangers lose tonight, but it was
a fun weekend and a good series. And we're back
tomorrow to get you ready for the series against the
Oakland No the whatever they are, West Sacramento Athletics.

Speaker 6 (01:01:07):
Just the Athletics.

Speaker 5 (01:01:08):
We'll be there tomorrow. We'll see it one on the
DLS Rangers podcast.
