Speaker 1 (00:00):
Themselves with an off day on the banks of the
mighty Mississippi. Just because Mark Twain didn't write about it
going through Minnesota, the Mississippi still does. We talk about
the trip as it continues and more. Next, it's the
DLLs Rangers Podcast. Is Mightier than the Sword and the

(00:32):
penn yesterday in Washington was mightier or at least as
mighty as anything the Rangers might have needed. Hi there,
Welcome into the DLLs Sports Studios. It's the DLLs Rangers Podcast.
Jeff Wilson, John Radigan. Big day on the DLLs Rangers Podcast.
As we have had a line change, if you will,

(00:53):
I guess it's more appropriate that the stars have had
a line change and they now have the pro on
a daily basis, and we are blessed with the Queen somehow,
some way. And that's the thing you'll notice about the Queen.
She's gonna talk more than Elijah. For whatever reason, the
prophet was always reluctant to talk Jess scenes. Yeah, he

(01:16):
just did his stuff behind the scenes. But you'll hear
from the Queen up on here, and we appreciate that
and we appreciate having her. We would ask you to
mind your p's and q's because we've got the Queen here,
especially your peas, yeah, especially those. Yeah. So anyway, that's
going to be on a normal basis for now, and
we're glad for that change. You won't notice much other

(01:38):
than that you get to hear from her a little
bit more often. Of course, she and I go way
back in our fox than Bally days over there at
the other place. We worked so longtime relationship with the Queen.
Really glad to have her here, Jeff, really glad to
have a win flipping streak. You know, it's only two,

(02:01):
but damn it, I'm gonna play it out. It's a
win streak.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah, you know, take what you can get at this point. Hey,
maybe they can make it three in a row. It'll
be tough. They're not losing to day though, that's right,
we know this, that's right.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Yeah, take it.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Take the day off, hang out in Minneapolis, enjoy some
cooler weather, and then refresh and recharge and you're ready
to go.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
It's gonna be hard. The Twins.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
They're having some pitching injury issues in their rotation, but
they're really good at home. Not in Great Ballpark. John,
I know you like it.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Love it.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I remember, I guess the first year was twenty ten.
It's it's a good place to watch a ball game,
good place to play a game. And so we'll see
what happens as this series unfolds. But the Rangers, again,
it kind of feels like a little momentum going.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
It really does. We want you to be a part
of the process here as we can curry through this day,
and we want you to chat. And I see Leon
already in there, so uh, yeah, it's Cat, Yeah it's Cat.
Cat's the queen. But you know, look again, everybody around
here has got multiple nicknames. So she's the queen. But

(03:13):
you know why, because she is. She's the female in
charge of this damn place. Is what she is. She
really is. So I'm not kidding about that. I kid
a lot. I'm not kidding about that. The rotation was
not needed yesterday for the first time this season, and
I think that the fact that the bullpen was as

(03:36):
fresh as it was full as it was is a
credit to the rotation. Right, So you give the rotation
and assist for yesterday's win at least one percent. Yeah, the.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Patrick Corbin and Jacob mcgron made yesterday possible if their
eight and seven Inny. Nowities Now, the Rangers had decided
before the game, the de Grom game Saturday, that they
were going to do a bulk pen game. I guess
they felt pretty good about Jacob being matching up against
the Nationals and my god, why not?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah, he looked pretty good.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah, so I'm.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
We would be remiss.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
And I'd mentioned it yesterday in the postium show with
Abby that Yeah, you know, those guys made a possible
and then the schedule maker did it too. They wouldn't
have done it a bullpen day yesterday if there was
a game today. So it's all all coming together. But
the rotation, you know, you keep saying, what more can
the rotation do? Well, they made yesterday possible by by

(04:39):
doing their herculean efforts on Saturday and Friday.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, and you know, when I was sort of initially
thinking of it, I was thinking, oh gosh, a bullpen day,
Oh my god. And you know, but there was really
no reason to frat. I mean, Jacob Blatz did a
great and I know you talked a lot about this yesterday.
I did and get to chat about this you and
Abs yesterday, but lats I mean, the only only problem

(05:04):
with lats is boats let him go a little too long, right,
probably get him out of there. And you know, but
either way, it was a fine outing by Jacob last.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, and I guess you know, he did have a
little cut on his thumb. Yeah, which isn't a big deal.
He's gonna be okay. They you know, you've seen you've
seen it. You guys would be amazed all the all
the little things they can do for a cut and yes,
it's amazing, just crazy stuff and for bruises any just
all kinds of treatment available. I doubt that he would

(05:33):
be available to pitch tomorrow anyway, right, so just give
him an extra day, make him available again Wednesday. But
you know, if this rotation continues to do what it's done,
five six, seven innings, two runs or less, probably are
going to need old Jake.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
No, yeah, no, that's great, that'd be awesome. Another Jake
by the way, Good god, this team has lousy with Jake's,
Jake's and joshus Yeah, but yeah, it was great to
see that and then the other guy's filing court. You know,
Jake Latz had the career high right seven strikeouts, high
career high sixty pitches, so you know, yeah, he channeled

(06:10):
his inner, his inner starting pitcher. There's no doubt about that.
The other guys that followed all got their jobs done
in a fairly efficient fashion. Nothing though, like what Patrick
Corbin did on Friday, eighty nine pitches. If you'd have
told me, Jeff there would be a Rangers pitcher who
threw an eighty nine pitch complete game, I would have said, Wow,

(06:32):
that's fantastic. How much did they win by? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:34):
I know it, I know it. And that gets back
to the crux of the deal. This starting pitching that's
been so good and you know is likely to regress some.
It's just getting wasted, just just pissing it away. Yeah,
And it's so frustrating because this has never happened in

(06:55):
club history. Never ever they had a rotation like this.
The era at this point of the season continue used
to be a record, a franchise record, which includes the Senators.
It doesn't include the Chrissy Matthewson Senators, but it includes
the Senators, by god. And so that you know, you
were talking sixty plus years here of baseball and this
is the best season and the Rangers should be ten

(07:16):
games in front, no doubt first place, but instead they're
below five hundred and chasing. I don't I think the
Angels lost yesterday, so I think the Rangers went back
into third place. So they're chasing two teams and trying
to fight off the little Ron Washington's And it shouldn't
be like this, but it is. And so this is

(07:36):
where this is where you go. This is this is
how you move forward. Keep the pitching good, and this
offense with Evan Carter showing some life yesterday and Marcus
Simmons showing life in the last week, needs to needs
needs to go now.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, we'll talk lots more about the offense in the
next segment. Maybe some fun reminiscences about road trips to
Minnesota Pass is coming up, as well as our cleanup segment.
But there's so much to like about the weekend from
a pitching standpoint. You know again, Corbin on Friday was
there against his former team. Yeah, and I just, I mean,

(08:14):
I have to think everybody on the team that didn't make,
you know, score a run, didn't get enough hits, had
to feel so bad because he did exactly what you
want to do against your former team. Man, he went
out there and just showed them, Hey, I still got it.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah, you know, and I you know how snarky fans are.
I'm guessing that you know that second Indian one that
he gave up three straight hits and they scored the
rele go oh that well, you know that Patrick Corby, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
and then he goes out and keeps going and keeps going,
gives it the home run in the seventh I believe
it was. But they were probably at the end of
it saying, man, where was that Patrick Corbin the last

(08:55):
five years? Sure, because he'd struggled, you know, but he
has played a huge role in them winning the World
Series and then Game seven at whatever they're calling it
now in Houston, and you know, three scoreless innings as
the Nationals won, and you know, you're a you're a hero.
You're a hero for those things. And you know, Andrew
Heeney is going to be a hero for the Rangers

(09:16):
for what he did. And I believe it was Game
three of the World's Game four of the World Series,
and Travis Jankowski is always going to be hero for
the way he played in Game four after Adulas was hurt.
It's these little things that fans don't forget. And so
for Patrick Corbyn, I'm sure he felt wonderful about it.
And Robert Garcia yesterday getting the last four outs of

(09:38):
the game for the save. You know, everybody talks about
Jake Berger and Nate Low. Well, Robert Garcia, you know,
it was part of the deal too, was in the
was in. It was who the Rangers got back for
Nate Low. And I'm sure that facing his old team,
he felt pretty good about it. And he did. He
kind of let out a scream. So it's a lot
of storylines. Nate Low had a three hit.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Game, yes you did. He did. He had a good series, Yeah, yeah,
he did, but maybe not as good as Burger. Right.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Well, those number and those numbers again remain pretty much identical.
Low has a big lead in on base but but
Burger has the better overall numbers when it comes to
like slugging percent. There's one more home run. They took
the lead and home runs that's a push. Yeah, But anyway,
it was a fun series. It's always fun to win

(10:25):
a series and for us to talk about wins and.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
No kidding, and that was the thing. They hadn't won
a series on the road since they won the Detroit Series,
which was basically one month ago, right, I think it
was the eighth, ninth, and tenth or something like that
of May. So that's good. I mean, winning a series
on the road is obviously a good thing. They had
that horrible one and what did it become? So it

(10:50):
was one and six on the last road trip and
they lost the first four, so they got to one
in ten. They're all they're all getting mushed together, all
this road misery. They got to one and ten in
eleven road games with that loss on Friday night. So yeah,
they're still fighting an uphill battle in that regard. But
you know, all they can do now is enjoy the

(11:12):
off day to day and worry about Tomorrow and Wednesday
and of course Thursday, but tomorrow first. And we take
a look at the pitching matchup for this series, and
you see that things are, you know, look pretty good
for the Rangers. I mean, what's not to like about
Tyler Mallley and his two o two era. I mean,

(11:33):
TBA has got a better era, But you know, other
than that, you know, Lighter has been great and the
aforementioned Patrick Corbin, who lowered his era it keeps lowering it.
That's fantastic. However, the Twins are a feisty bunch.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Two Jeff, Yeah, yeah, And it looks like David Festa
has taken one of the spots of the injured guys.
They lost Pablo Lopez, who's a heck of a picture.
They've lost him for four months. And then Zebbie Matthews,
who I'll be honest, I never heard of. I can

(12:13):
name one famous Zebulon zebulon Pike Pike pikes peak speak,
and I think there was a zeb who was a
Confederate general.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
That's not a common name.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
It's not anyway. Old Zebi's out too. So David Festa,
who you saw there starting the Wednesday game, is one
injury filling. And Simon Woods Richardson, who has been a
long time prospect. I think he's been traded a couple
of times. He's he's got a chance to start the
game tomorrow. But yeah, the the Twins are good, you know.

(12:45):
They they they know how to they know how to score.
They do have a good bullpen, especially especially the back
end is really really good. So the Rangers need to
strike early, which they you know, they did that Saturday
and they did it. Yes, second, the Carter home run
wasn't the second inning, it wasn't necessarily it wasn't the
first any But get out in front early, let the

(13:08):
let the rotation do its stuff. Maybe add on late
against the non leverage guys from the Twins bullpen, and
see what you have. But the Rangers might have an
opportunity here to catch the Twins a little bit vulnerable,
at least on their pitching side.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Ironically, the Rangers are now one of those teams that
you know, basically can be a trap game for the opposition,
right because they've underperformed so much and their offense has
been so bad. You know, the other team might just
be sitting there thinking, yeah, it's just the Rangers, right,
we got this, yeah, right. And then if Evan Carter

(13:43):
shows up as he has, or if Marcus Simeon continues
to hit as he has been, and and some of
these other guys you know why at Langford will talk
about here in the second and his time to rejuvenate. Right,
if all these things come to fruition, then the Rangers
with look a decided pitching advantage in almost every series. Uh,

(14:05):
the Rangers will be feeling pretty good about their opportunity
and their possibilities in Minnesota. So let's do that next.
Let's talk about this offense and what we can look
for and what we can expect and what we can
hope for. It's all coming up next. It's the d
ls Rangers podcast. John.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
We've mentioned this before. You're a small business owner, sir.
You are a member over there at LinkedIn and LinkedIn jobs.
If you're a small business owner, is a place to
go to get your job listing posted and to get
quality candidates to fill the to fill the job. I mean,
you can find anybody to fill the job, but you
don't just want anybody. You want somebody who can function

(14:51):
at the level that you require. Uh and and probably
even exceed that. And maybe maybe maybe they just start
running the place eventually, John, who knows, but I'd love it.
You can post your job for free at LinkedIn dot
com slash rangers. Again, that's LinkedIn dot com slash rangers,
and it's the place to go. LinkedIn never shuts down.
It's on the world wide Web, after all, and you

(15:12):
can go there anytime and find a job. I know
that I was a free agent. I was looking at
LinkedIn and I was able to find something. So it
all works out. At LinkedIn dot com, slash jobs to
list your first listing for free.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
And of course now it's time to talk about one
of my favorite sponsors that we have, that being Shady Rays. Kat.
I don't know if you've seen my new Shady Rays.
What do you think? What's the first thing you think
of when you see me like this? I'm gonna write
a ticket, Yeah, that I could arrest you, and I might.
I might write because now, and we established before the show,

(15:47):
you can't say you're having a bad day to umpires
or women. So I'm not gonna say that. If Kat
does something wrong, we'll just say, okay, we have some
constructive criticism here. There is no constructive criticism for Shady Rays.
Can we talk? Yeah, can we talk? There's no constructive
criticism needed for these babies. They're awesome. Talk my son
into getting a pair. His gal is gonna now get

(16:09):
a pair, and you get thirty five percent off. Right
if you use the code DLLs, they'll replace them. They
have a replacement policy even if you lose them, as
I have done before, and certainly if you break them.
So go to Shady Rays. Use the code DLS get
thirty five percent off. Okay, so let's talk offense. I mean,

(16:31):
for once, Jeff, we're not talking terrible offense. Although even
in a good offensive game again with the new standard
of scoring being four runs, oh wow, we got four runs,
you know, that's an automatic wine. But but there was
still an er for eleven in there.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
There was a runner runner score forms position. So so
again and you know, as we were, as we've been
over the course of two months, trying to solve what's
wrong with the Rangers, you know, and O for eleven
could be spun by the club and even by us
as Hey, guys, guys on base, these hits are gonna

(17:11):
start coming.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
They just aren't coming.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
The timely hits don't happen, and it's kind of crazy,
but you know, they did enough. They hit the magic
number of four. They're twenty three and four the Texas Rangers.
When they score at least four runs, it's.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
An eight winning person.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
That'll that'll that'll win you some ball games, you know,
and and you know, even scoring five runs Saturday, you're like,
hey man, this is this is something that got breathing.
Where did this come from? And but really you know,
if you want to, if you want to look at
the road trip as a whole, they've had a couple
of stinkers the opener of each series, and then they've

(17:50):
been okay, Yeah, they scored four in the loss at
Tampa when Rocker had that brain fart, and then they
scored three and the the loss in which Josh Smith
Robert Garcia had the brain fart. Whoever Josh Young could
even have had a brain fart in that in so
lots of farts. But anyway, so the offense, it's it

(18:16):
seems like it's getting a little better because and I
think you can agree, because of Marcus Simmi's he's producing.
He's a candidate to be the American League Player of
the Week, which will be announced here in just a
little bit. Bat it over five hundred for the week
or dating back to maybe it's dating back to the
last weekend of the Rangers home sand but anyway, the

(18:37):
guy's going well, okay, much much better. I mean one
hundred times one hundred percent better. Yeah, if not more
complete turn in he did the first two months of
the season. And to his credit, you know, after the
game Saturday, he spoke about you know, it's kind of
happened in twenty twenty two, which we've talked about, and

(19:00):
I just stuck to my routine then, So I'm sticking
to my routine now and it's working. But he find
he had to find something. You know, he did change
some things and it just kind of struck on something.
So hopefully it hopefully it stays. And then Evan Carter,
you know, his numbers aren't gaudy, and they weren't good
when he went on the injured list, but you can

(19:22):
just yet back quality. It just is so much different,
like his takes. Yeah, I wonder if guys watched him,
watches at bats and watch how he tracks a pitch.
I mean, he just especially like a split finger. There
he was facing a guy who with a split and
he was following those things all the way until they
fell out of the zone. And I think he could
recognize what was coming and trusted that it was going

(19:45):
to happen. So if a guy who's twenty two can
do it, the guy who's thirty five, a Doles Garcia
can do it. A Doles continues to be plagued by
those chases up and out, and you know, they proved
costly in Saturday's game a couple of times, so you
know it'd be nice for let's say Simeon and Carter

(20:06):
to pick up maybe Garcia Corey Seeger oh for twenty
five longest sitless stretch in his career. I don't worry
about him. Evan Carter, who's hitting below two hundred the
past twenty games, worry a little bit about him just
because he's young, may not know how to get out
of a slump. But he had the day off Sunday.
We'll be off the day, so maybe he just needed

(20:27):
to get recharged and watch a game. So there's the potential.
There's been the potential all along, but I think with
Simeon it feels like, hey, if he's going, then the Rangers.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Could no doubt and imagine. And you know, I tweeted
this yesterday, just that there was this great opportunity in
a great game by by Simeon and then hashtag you know,
Corey Seeger's Next. And that's not like, come on, Corey,
we need you. That's more like a statement, Cory Seeger's next.
I mean, it's gonna happen, and with this guy, we

(21:01):
just know it will. And I don't think it'll take
as long as unfortunately it took Marcus Simeon to refine
that timing, that groove, that stroke, that confidence, whatever it is.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yeah, And if you want to, I know, I know
Corey had those four four games. Maybe it was only
three there in Boston and Detroit. Yeah, after he came
off the injured list the first time. But if you
really want to look at it, Corey basically missed a month, right, Yeah,
I mean, I think that's fair to say. And so
you go back to the start of last year when

(21:34):
he was coming off of the late late January hernia surgery. Yeah,
basically missed all the spring training and was pretty terrible
for the first month and a week, you know, and
finally came out of it. So I wonder if if
this layoff well, while he'd had plenty of it bats
before the injury, if he still just needs a little

(21:56):
more time. I know, he came off in twenty twenty
three and hit a home run in his first at bat,
and everybody's like, man, this guy's fantastic, and he is fantastic,
But you know, sometimes it just takes a little while.
But I again, I don't think anybody is remotely worried,
no about what he's going to do the rest of
the way.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Now, there were I don't know how to say worry,
but there were concerns, for lack of a better word,
about the way things have gone with Wyatt Langford. Right,
so yesterday Boats used that day to give Wyat a
little downtime and basically just you know, it's the beauty
of having a fully healthy lineup, right now, you can

(22:38):
do that. And I think again, always, why is using
you know, give him an off day on the day
before and off day he gets two full days to
just not really worry about it, freak out about it,
think about it, just decompress.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, and maybe he will appreciate the value of that,
you know, and and learn learn the value of it
and just you know, be like hey, okay, and and
you know, I think during the game the broadcast showed
him talking to Jacob mcgram. Well maybe Jacob m gram
was telling them, Hey, this is what this guy is
trying to do. This is what this is what these

(23:13):
guys have been trying to do to you. Anybody, anybody
can help a guy out. And one thing we know
about Jacob, and we know about whyatt is they like
to keep things simple. They're both from Florida, the northern part,
different sides of the state. But you know, maybe maybe
they had some commonalities there and you know, just we're

(23:33):
able to talk ball in their terms. But why it
doesn't need to get going. I mean, he he has
such tremendous power and speed and he can be such
a threat when he's on the base. As he saw
the Forehead game the other night. It was wasted, of course,
but he was a he was a pest and throw
him in the in the lump too. You know, if

(23:54):
they can get if Simeon and Carter can drag along
why at Langford, and if Jake Berger can drag along
a doulas a you have the makings of an offense here,
you really do.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
I mean you start mentioning all those names and you
realize again what they all can do. So if you've
got Simeon and you've got you know, let's assume Seeger
comes back. Jonaheim's been pretty consistent throughout this year, you know,
and again he's never going to be Simon or Seeger.
But but if he comes up and gives you those
consistent debt bats, well, now you're you are eight or

(24:27):
nine deep in a lineup that can really invoke fear
in the opposing pitcher. But you know, baby steps here,
you know. For now, let's just be thrilled and happy
with four runs. And by the way, about Berger, I
mean about Wyatt Langford and Jacob deGrom, I believe either
one of them could wrestle an alligator too. From that
Northern Florida upbringing, you know, like you never know up

(24:50):
there where you're going to go find a gator.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
That's right, That's right, I think Whyatt's Whyatt, during the
off season admitted that he has killed an alligator?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Is that right? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (25:02):
I don't I don't remember the exact content context, but
I bet he wrestled it. He might have wrestled it.
I bet he. He's a strong man. Jacob is over
by Daytona Beach now, yeah, so I don't know. Maybe
he's more of a car guy, you know with Mytona
and yeah, the whole all of the bike week, you know,

(25:26):
all that stuff. So I don't know, but I Jacob's
a hell of an athlete, I know that former shortstop.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Yeah, he really is. He's uh, he's one of those
wire I means still, you know, as he gets a
little older into his later thirties, still, what do they say,
Wirey jeff Right, He looks just you know, like he's
not muscle bound like Wyatt Langford, but there's muscle there,
but there is Yeah, yeah, there's muscle there. So yeah,
I'd put money on either one of them for alligator wrestling,

(25:54):
that's for sure. So but again, the offense, uh, not
exactly what we want, you wrote this weekend because again
they've done everything they can do to attempt to bring
this offense back right and maybe the things are finally working.
That said, the knee jerk reaction is more people keep

(26:16):
throwing more people at it, throw more people at it,
throw more people. Sebastian Walcott really can't be an option
right now. And you not only this isn't only your opinion.
You got some pretty good thoughts from Ross Finsterer Maker
on this.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Yeah, and you know, we need to keep in mind
as great as Sebastian is, he's nineteen years old, and
his numbers at Frisco are decent. You know, for a
nineteen year old, you could say they're terrific, especially the
power numbers his on base has gone up, his strikeouts
have gone down, all positive things. And then, as I

(26:55):
mentioned on the show yesterday and in the story something
that MLB dot Com pointed out earlier in the week,
he is since two thousand and six, there have been
two players in baseball, only two who have a better
isolated slugging right percentage. Then, and you're looking at a
number in the two's here, Yeah, yeah, two fifty to

(27:17):
three is like I think. I think Sebastian's at two.
Fernando Tatis Junior, who might have heard of, was two eighteen,
and Mike Trout, who's only one of three MVPs, was
at two twenty one and his now they Trout had
one Double A season. Tatus had two full Double A
seasons and started a third season at Double A before

(27:39):
he went to the majors. And but once they got
to the majors, I mean, Trout's first time in the
majors wasn't great. When he came back in twenty twelve,
you know, the rest is history. Tatis had a really
nice rookie season too. So I think that maybe Walcott
next year has the chance to to jump into the lineup,

(28:02):
maybe late this year if something crazy happens, or if
DoLS is terrible and the Rangers are like, boy, we
could use an extra right handed hit, or who could
we Yeah, let's think who could we get now? So
Baston would have to learn how to play right field,
which they have no worry about. But I just think
that you're not going to see him maybe at all

(28:23):
this year, and it definitely wouldn't be until he has
some success at Triple A. So maybe maybe September, who knows,
depending on where the club is. But this guy is
just doing great things. He keeps getting better and better
with more experience. And Ross pointed out to me, and
I thought this was interesting. He didn't play a lot
of against a lot of good talent growing up, like

(28:46):
you know, the Dominican guys came to these days. They
get into these with their trainers at twelve and thirteen
and they're playing against the best of their peers. Walcott's
from the Bahamas. They didn't have that in the Bombs.
He played in Florida, as he had family in Florida.
He'd play some travel ball in Florida. But he hasn't
seen the great pitching like these guys. Ever, like Trout

(29:06):
saw maybe going to these summer circuits. So he's ahead
of the curve for sure, but he's not far enough
to get to the major leagues just yet.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Not quite there yet. We are having lots more discussions
will continue that well, we'll talk about guys who are
on the mend, and we'll talk about what to do
on the road in Minnesota this time of year now
around bowl season. I famously said that the pop Tart
is a horribly overrated food stuff, and we're gonna test that.

(29:39):
I know people cat comes around the computer at me, like,
are you kidding me? Yeah, that's what most That's how
most people reacted. Right here is a pop Tart frosty
which we're gonna test during the commercial break that's coming
next the DLS Rangers podcast. But before the greatness of
those f fust these fusions, we've got to tell you

(30:02):
about monarch money, so that you have enough money in
the account to buy things like lots of frosty fusions
for the family. I have found that the hardest thing
for me to keep track of is money. It just
all goes out, and like any coming in lately, we

(30:23):
need more in and less out, and especially now with
this business that Jeff has mentioned I got money going
here and there and everywhere, and I'm pretty much going
winging a prayer. Time for me to get Monarch money.
Time for you to do the same thing. There is
not a better tracker of your money, but they're more
than just sort of an accounting tool. They'll help you

(30:44):
grow your wealth. They'll help you get stronger at keeping
track of your money, which will help you grow your wealth.
So we ask you to go to monarchmoney dot com
and if you do and use the code DLLLS, guess
what you get a full fifty percent off for your
first You're at Monarch money. All right.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Now it's time to talk Frosty and to eat some Frosty's.
If you love Wendy's classic Frosty flavors, We've got big
news all new Frosty Swirl and Frosty Fusion flavors. You
can get in either chocolate or vanilla. So it's the
same treat, right, just have new stuff, new flavor refresh
like strawberries, brownies, pop darts, caramel. All right, So the

(31:23):
oreos oreo oreo brownie, which is what I'm going about
to dive into caramel crunch, which you've had pop tar strawberry.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
You just nailed. So anyway, dive into the oreo. While fantastic,
and here's the reason. There's lots of the strawberry in there,
and nice little chunks of the pop tart. What I
don't need are two pieces of cardboard slap together with
a tiny, tiny stream of strawberry jelly and barely any icing.

(31:54):
I don't need that. I need this. It's a frosty fusion.
Go to Wendy's and get one. You see, you see
what I'm saying. I mean, that's the thing. The pop tart.
It's dry, it's like cardboard. But look at this thing.
It's got the chunks of real pop tart. I think,
you know, Oh that's a good point. You put a

(32:16):
little ice cream in there. How can you go wrong?
That thing's fantastic. I will order that again. But anyway,
we're big fans of the frosty fusion. I think next week,
our next month, I think it is whenever they're gonna
bring us more up savory foods, which will be okay too,
but we're gonna we're gonna be missing out on these, uh,

(32:38):
these frosties. We're gonna have to stop and get them
on the way home. So on the road in Minnesota
and you think, yeah, you know that much to do
in Minnesota. I'll tell you what, I've had some of
the best off days when I was traveling with the
team in Minnesota. I guess it goes all the way
back to two thousand and nine. Maybe I was on

(33:01):
the road with the team and it probably was nine.
Is that the year Pudge came back was nine? Yeah,
and I'm pretty I remember sitting with Pudge in the
lobby of the hotel upstairs. The night before that I
did this, which was one of the most cool and
fun and interesting road trip getaways I'd ever done. Kevin

(33:25):
Millwood and me the cameraman went out muskie fishing, Jeff
muskie fishing. Now there's ten thousand lakes, they say in Minnesota.
And by the way, there's sixty six thousand in Michigan.
So no idea why they brag about ten thousand. I've

(33:46):
never heard of no lake Minnesota either. No, we got
a lake Michigan. We got a lake here. We got
big lakes too, we got the Great Lakes, and we
got sixty six thousand lakes. But by god, Minnesota gets
credit on their license played for ten thousand. I'm like, Michiganders,
as I am by breadwise breading breeding, I should say, uh,

(34:06):
Michiganders say ten thousand lakes. That's cute. That's cute anyway,
but one of them, right, I think it's Minnetonka Lake, Minuteake,
Minnetonka right there. I've been there. Yeah, it's right by
the not far from town, not far from the ballpark.
We go out there, Millwood and me, camera people, producer

(34:26):
and a guide and we go muskie fishing. So we're,
you know, shooting it for TV and so forth. And
the guide tells us you got to cast ten thousand
times in order to catch a musky. That's the rule
of musky fishing. Ten thousand times. And I'm so, I'm like,

(34:49):
he's like, not ten thousand in a row. He's like,
you got to do it over a length of time.
You know it's going to take so I said, in
other words, for the purposes of this story I'm producing
for a television network. We're not going to see a
damn musky in this boat, are we. And he's like, well,
I've probably cast ten thousand times. I said, Millie, how

(35:12):
many times have you cast about eight. I think, you know,
you know, Millwood just so calm and everything. So anyway,
it was great fun. And you know, I think we
caught a couple of little blue gills or a couple
of little perch or something, but ask not a musky
in sight. And so however many I said, I said,

(35:34):
that's a bad guy. I said, seriously, yeah, maybe you
might be right about that. I said, seriously, if if
I was out here with you for four hours, how
many legit musky casts would I get in? And he goes, well,
if you're doing it right, probably no more than fifty.

(35:55):
I'm like, so how do we get to ten thousand? Good? God,
I got to do it every day? Two? Yeah. Yeah.
So anyway, really fun trip though, and I wish I
had like fish on a line muskies on a line
to show you from a picture that we got. But anyway,
stories out there somewhere on probably on YouTube. Then the

(36:18):
other another time I went. This one didn't involve a player, Jeff,
but we went riding on the trails that are, you know,
adjacent to the Mississippi, which, again, as I said at
the beginning, people don't think of the Mississippi as going
right through Minneapolis, Minnesota. Does it does right through it.
It's beautiful in the summertime. I'm telling you, it is beautiful.

(36:41):
And like I said, because Mark Twain didn't write about it,
people don't. People think that the Mississippi only goes right
there by Saint Louis, I guess, and all that in Missouri. Anyway,
it's up there. Imagine it's cold in the winter on
that day. We don't want to get in. Yeah, But
that said, I'm riding a bike along there, and you
don't have to go very far. It's only maybe a

(37:02):
five or six mile ride along the river, which is
just stunning beautiful. And you get to a waterfall. And
I tried to find a picture. I know that one's
on my phone and I can't. I couldn't find it
to have Cat put it up on the deal for
us today. But I mean, there is a wall. First
of all. I think waterfalls might be the coolest things

(37:25):
I've ever seen. You know, Niagara Falls, snow Quality falls,
we you know, we go to out there in the
Seattle area. Like the power that those things provide just
by water falling from here to.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
There, Jeff, the Niagara Falls blew me away. Isn't that amazing,
It's it's ridiculous. Yeah, that's a.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
I've done that on the Yeah, it's one of the
is it it is one of the eight Wonders? Is it?
I think it is. I don't know, but the Yeah,
I did that on a I did that on Toronto
trip not that many years ago. And but anyway, I
can't think of the name, and I can't find the
damn picture. But there's a lot to do in Minnesota.
And by the way, downtown Minneapolis is not bad. You know,

(38:08):
there's a lot, there's a lot, a lot of restaurants
and you know, a lot of places to go. And
and then this time of year could still be a
little cold, I guess in mid June, but probably not.
I imagine it's probably a pretty good off day for
the Rangers in Minnesota and yeah, and so, but but
for some guys it may not be an off day.

(38:29):
In fact, who were we talking to Evo? I think
before he before he knew that he wasn't that he
was going to be on the injured list, and we
were saying, you know, what are you gonna do? Is
I'll probably throw a bullpen tomorrow. We're like you're off tomorrow.
You know, you guys have the day off tomorrow, And
he goes, yeah, you know, like it doesn't matter, I'll

(38:50):
still throw a bullpen. So some of that may be
happening to the extent that both Cody, Bradford, Jeff and
Josh Bores are on the trip, and the news we've
talked about already. But the news on Cody has been
so good in that he's spinning the ball right yeah,
and he's got no pain from you know, basically throwing

(39:13):
curve balls. But the reality is that's where you put
that pressure on the obo is spinning. Josh is also
throwing breaking balls. Is he there now too?

Speaker 2 (39:21):
He says his fastball is a little bit behind, but whatever,
It's sixty degrees in a little rain in Minneapolis right now.
But yeah, there's good news on the pitching front. Two,
Valdi can is eligible. I think Saturday, that was Friday,

(39:42):
but maybe it is Friday or and I thought it's
the thirteenth. I think, well that's Friday, Okay, So anyway,
that's good. You're gonna get him back now. Then what
are you gonna do with Bradford and Spores? I would
imagine Bradford is going to go right into the bull pen,
and Spores would too. You still have this little little

(40:04):
issue with the lack of starting depth that the Rangers
may want to guard against. But I can't. I can't
envision them sending Cody Bradford down. He was very, very
good in spring training before the elbow thing flared up,
and you know, at the time, it was thought, oh,
it's just gonna be a couple of days, and then
it's turned into two three months. So but he still

(40:25):
has some things to do. He has a bullpen, he's
he has to throw live banning practice I think twice.
Then it would be a rehab assignment. If he comes
back as a reliever, he doesn't have to get stretched
out very far, so he can maybe just you know,
go out there and do two or three rehab appearances,
maybe get to two or three innings. I'd be ready

(40:47):
to go.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
Spores probably would.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
Have an extended one too, where I bet they probably
want to see him get five appearances. I would guess
make sure everything's okay, you know, but relievers just don't
need a lot of time, so that's good. I think
John Gray, when he gets to that point, it'll happen fast.
So things are gonna get get pretty pretty good. And

(41:12):
then at that point, well, who are you gonna send down?
You know, Caleb Boslely, God bless him, he can go
down and stretched out again. Cole Yes, maybe even Lats
at that point or maybe maybe, you know, maybe if
those guys are performing so well, maybe they have to
make a choice because you know, Bradford and Gray are

(41:35):
gonna need forty man spots because they're on the end sports,
because they're all in the sixty the I l that's
three forty man spots. You got to open up Garson
Garabudo's run on the forty man. God is gonna he's
gotta know how it's gone this far, but it's gonna end.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
So anyway, good things are are on the horizon. Yeah.
The one thing that surprises me about that whole discussion
is that in our discussions with John Gray, it's always
felt to me like he's the closest one, and yet
the other two are on the trip and John's not.
I mean, I think that's an indication that John's you know,

(42:13):
still doing it, still part of a pitching routine in Arlington.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, I don't know that he's even gotten off a
mound yet, so that has to happen first, and then
it's gonna be it's gonna be a gradual build up. Now,
it was his wrists, you know, fracture, It wasn't an
elbow sprain or you know, a shoulder injury. So he's
going to be able to start throwing breaking balls sooner,
but not right off the bat, because again, you do

(42:39):
have to build up like it's the off season. That's
exactly what he said it. It's like starting all over
again in December or whenever he starts throwing. So it'll
it'll be a it won't be as gradual as it
was with Bradford, but he has a chance to be
a really good reliever.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
He does. And look, they the Rangers immediately have not
only depth in the bullpen, but depending on how they
play it right, they have more depth in the starting rotation. Again,
Bradford and or Gray would need to get stretched out
before they were able to start. But for example, if
you need to go with the bullpen day again, you'd

(43:19):
feel pretty good about sending either one of those guys
out there in the Jacob Latz role like what he
did Yester.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
Yeah, and you know, get maybe get maybe get Cody
up to fifty or sixty pitches. You know, that'd probably
be three or four rehab appearances. If you want to
do that, if you want to, if you feel like
that needs to be an option, if you're so thin
on rotation depth that you have to have the bullpen
game kind of in the back of your head as
an option, then maybe you want to do that. But again,

(43:48):
the bullpen, which has been which has been good, is
going to get going to get better theerey quickly.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
Yeah, yeah, it could be significantly better, especially since bores
would be more of a known quantity at the tail end,
right at the end of games. So lots more coming
up for the bullpen. Lots more coming up on the
show as we get to our cleanup segment. We've got
lots to clean up, not surprisingly after a busy weekend.
It's coming next. It's the DLS Rangers podcast and it's

(44:22):
time to tell you about our favorite merchandise out there.
It is these shirts and the various other things you
can buy at the DLLs. It's all city stored out
Allcitynetwork dot com. Jeff. That's a great place to go
and get any of the stuff here that you see
on your screen, long slurve tea or long sleeve sweatshirts,

(44:44):
short tease, the kind we have. There's a great one
coming out. I still haven't heard an update on the
new one that's coming out, but it's going to be
fantastic and there's actually I think it's going to be
released with a series of new DLLs shirts.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
So I mean, I'm gonna buy enough to tell me anymore. Yeah, yea,
Jeff's Jeff's the King.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
I'm gonna get it. Well, I mean, do they only
have one? I have both of them. Oh, they have two,
a purple and a gray. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
Yeah, So it's not just the four pro teams, it's uh,
well the five because we have a wing shirt that's
your father.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
Yeah, that's one of my favorites.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Yeah, and colleges, all kinds of stuff. It stored out
All Citynework dot com and you get a free shirt
when you become.

Speaker 1 (45:27):
A die hard for only.

Speaker 2 (45:32):

to say eighty seventy nine ninety nine. Anyway, go to
all d lls dot COM's last joiner scan that handy
dandy QR code there on your screen. You get everything.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
How much? Oh four dollars a month? Right now? Well,
holy moly, what are you guys waiting for? Oh? Is
it really we got a special Holy crap, we didn't
even know.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
Come on, hey o, so go do that and you
still get the free shirt, which are valued at thirty
four ninety nine, so you're looking at like fourteen bucks. Anyway,
four dollars a month if you can afford a Frostye,
you can afford four dollars a month. And so go
do it today, because that's pretty exciting. And we have

(46:18):
great stuff we.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
Do, and we've got lots to talk about in this segment,
our cleanup segment. As you know, the most patriotic day
of the year is nigh upon us here. It's the
fourth of July. It's Independence Day. It's fantastic. It's a
summer celebration, and the baseball teams get into the spirit

(46:41):
of it. I think it's so much fun, you know,
the old baseball hot dogs, apple pie, you know. I mean,
it's really a fun It's a really fun time of year.
And I love how I really do love how MLB
actually embraces each and every one of the various holidays,
and some of them were self made, you know. Jackie

(47:03):
Robinson Day is a is a you know, is a
function of Major League Baseball, as is Roberto Clemente Day
and all of them. But I like the way they
celebrate each and every one of those. So there are
there are ways for them to denote Independence Day, including
the uniforms. So let's take a look at the hats

(47:23):
that are available for each major League team. And I mean,
I I love honestly that hat. I love the fact.
I love the fact that it's the Rangers baby blue
just by coincidence. Now, the fourth is a Friday, not
a Sunday, right, yeah, because and they always they always Yeah,

(47:47):
that's right, and they always wear the baby blue at
home on Sunday? Are they home and the fourth or
are they They're on the road in San Diego? In
San Diego, Okay, so it wouldn't matter anyway. But yeah,
So that's uh, But that's what they'll be wearing. And
I'm sure with some sort of uniform pieces to match. Uh.
I think I think they're fantastic. Everyone every one of
those is a winner, do you think so? Yeah? I

(48:08):
do too. I mean, and normally I would be like
shielding my eyes and thinking those look like softball caps
or something. But they're all good. I just love everything
about I don't know everything about those turns out well.
So there you go, Fourth head July, Happy fourth July.
It's coming. Get your fireworks now elsewhere in our cleanup segment.

(48:29):
So they were talking on the radio broadcast of the
game yesterday. I think about Jose ferraar the the relief
pitcher for the for the Gnats, Jose A Ferry. There's
another Jose two out there, and they were saying the

(48:50):
saxophone playing Jose Hey Farrah. Well, so I just assumed
he's some you know, in another life, he's some sort
of an accomplished you know, his you know, Renaissance parents
had him throwing a baseball, but they wanted him to
be a complete man. So he also was trained in

(49:10):
the saxophone. We can't show it because it was on
a broadcast, but you need to go look at Jose Ferrara,
Jose A far playing the saxophone. We're for one of
his teammates in the bullpen and they're both sitting there
and you can't hear him what he's saying. But you

(49:31):
can see him getting ready, and the guy's you know,
his teammates sitting there talking to him, and they're in
the bullpen, and then you know, puts his mouth onto
the little mouthpiece and he gets ready to go, and
he takes a big breath to have lots of wing
wind in his lungs, and he blew the most three
sour notes I've ever heard in my life. And the guy,

(49:53):
his teammate is just cracking up, like, oh my god,
you're terrible to find out. The kid just got a
saxophone a couple of weeks ago. He just decided that's
something he wants to do. He loves that type of music.
He grew up I think in the Dominican and that's
the kind of music he loves. Good for him, But

(50:14):
good gosh, they're talking about him as if he's you know, uh,
you know some some you know shorty whatever. What's that
guy we had over at Bally Shorty Defasio or Trombone Shorty,
That's who it was. Trombone Shorty could play all those horns.
This guy can't play a horn worth a damn, But
good for him for trying. I gotta think it's probably
a hard instrument to learn. I'm guessing it's not easy.

(50:37):
You play any instruments me neither. No, I wish I did.
I wish I played the saxophone. But man, not like that.
That was bad. That hurt my ears. So that's uh,
that's Shorty fer Our and the okay. So the the
prank Jeff continues between Dave Roberts. We remember Otani had

(51:01):
given Joe Kelly's wife a Porsche, the Porsche SUV when
Kelly gave up the number seventeen to Jose when he
joined the Dodgers, you know, the beginning of last off
and two, you know whatever, two off seasons ago whatever.
So he was so appreciative and he told Joe, I'm

(51:22):
I'm gonna take care of I'm gonna do something for you,
and he bought him a Porsche. And so then he
told Dave Roberts he was going to take care of him,
and he got him a baby Porsche, you know, just
a little guy. And he put it in Dave Roberts'
parking spot at spring training and had Dave's car moved

(51:42):
and put the Porsche there, and they got a big
kick out of that. And then Dave responded by putting
a bunch of the balls from the ball pit, you know,
those kind of little balls, filled Otani's car with it.
Otani opens the door, all the balls come flying out. Well,
now we have a new chapter in the Porscha thing.
And and they said, after the the you know baby portion,

(52:06):
Dave spot and the ball pit in in Otani's car,
they said, okay, we're done. That's good. We were even truth.
And then Dave Roberts calls show Hey to the to
the office the other day and show Hey admits he's like,
I was a little nervous. I'm like, really, what are
we doing? Are we doing this? This is what they
were doing. Here's a picture of the Porsche for Sho

(52:28):
Hayes daughter. So that was more like it. And they
and apparently it's remote control. Now, Kat, you know you've
got Enzo. How old is Enzo? Now? He'll be two
next month, so he might just fit in that little car.
You letting him get in there and and run and
sending him around with the remote control? You would Okay,

(52:52):
my granddaughter is only five months but I and I
know she'd fit. But I'm like, I think her mom
would kill me. I have to put a baby helmet
on her or something. Okay, so it so as they
get a little more control, you put the baby in
the car, let it ride around in there.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Yes, cool, Toni's daughters not even two months old because
she was born during that series when they were here.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
Oh is that right? Okay? So yeah, so she she
might open a minute. Yeah, she might have the head
up probably yeah. Yeah, And it wouldn't kill show Hey
to buy her a I mean, Dave Roberts to buy
her a real porch. I'm just saying, shoe Heotani helps
the team quite a bit. Yeah, I think he's doing
I think the team's helping him pretty well. Well, I
guess you're probably right. They get there. He's well compensated.

(53:39):
But you know, still, a manager is only as good
as what his players, and they've got a pretty good
one in show Heyo Tani. All right, So Jeff, here's
a more serious Uh no, well, let's get this one
other thing and then get to our serious notes. We
have time. Uh. Speaking of the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw is
poosed at the Cardinals who showed the does it say? Yeah?

(54:02):
They showed the the video of Matt Adams home run
against him in the twenty fourteen NLDS on a loop
and Kershaw says, I don't you know, I think it's
a little bush League, but bush But I don't expect
anything else from these guys, so it's no worries. But
you know that is I don't know what is that

(54:26):
a low blow? I like Kershaw so much. I want
him to be happy. I think it is kind of
a dick move. Yeah, yeah, it kind of is just
run that over and over again, and maybe you'd want
to just ask how have each how has each team done? Since?
You know? How we doing right? But anyway, I like that.

(54:49):
I do like that kind of drama. And the Cardinals.
The Cardinals are funny, man, that organization. You know, they
walk around like they're the Yankees. They do you know,
they will they walk chrome like where the Cardinals like whatever?
You know, And I remember in sixty eight the Tiger's
beating them, you know. I wish I could say in
eleven the Rangers beating them. But anyway, AnyWho, I digress.

(55:13):
Let's get to this. Look, they've made a decision finally
on the pitch deal. Yeah, this is a big deal.

Speaker 2 (55:18):
It came out I think Friday that MLB fully intends
and implementing the challenge system for balls and strikes in
twenty twenty six, which is next season. And I think
the story was written by the athletic Go ahead and
go check it out. You know, there's an eleven person

(55:39):
committee only one umpire on there, which is probably why
it's going to pass with flying colors. Yeah, but the
MLB has the votes, it's going to be in play,
and it's long overdue, and it seems especially relevant in
light of the crappy umpiring this year. And we'll start
with a picture from the umpire scorecards Twitter account at

(55:59):
score cards. We're gonna start with Andy Fletcher. This is
from Friday Night. Look at look at that eighty percent
called strike accuracy. That's atrocious. And you know, I don't
know the um the ump scorecard formula for how they
determine the overall uh you know who it favors and

(56:19):
all that stuff, but Andy Fletcher is just awful. So
you know, each team will have two challenges like like
was the case in spring training this year. My question
is if Andy Fletcher is the umpire and he's gonna
be missing that that many calls. I think it's gonna
it's gonna, you know, make the game longer. Now, this

(56:40):
is a quick thing. If you guys haven't seen it
in the spring trainer or haven't seen it in a
minor league game.

Speaker 1 (56:44):
It goes fast. Yeah, it really is quick.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
Touch the touch the helmet, or if the pitcher can
touch the hat, the catcher can touch his helmet. Umpire says,
they've challenged. It's on the screen, it's over and boom.
It takes less than thirty seconds. But with Andy Fletcher,
that right, Christ, it's gonna take Oh yeah, it's going
to add another thirty minutes to the game.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
Now conversely, and I had this thought, but well we'll
look at another one. This is from last night's game
on the ESPN Shane live in Sparger. I once tweeted
that Living Sparger sounded like a nasty cheese. Yeah, I get,
I agree, Yeah, I got some I got some crap
for it, did you. Yeah, you're you're above making fun

(57:25):
of people's names. Not one, it's Living Sparger.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
Uh Now. Now, Old Shane had a heck of a
game last night. That one hundred on the strikes and
those balls, I would argue two of them, two of
them yeah, one of them for sure, the bottom one
just off the bottom of the zone. I think that
is a ball. One for sure is completely in the
strike zone, and the other's on.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
Anyway, the point is even the even the best games
will have challenges. Now some of them might be wrong.
I mean it was like fifty to fifty uh in
spring training. You know, players are right, you know between
the umpire who was.

Speaker 1 (58:00):
Right and was? It really basically very close to fifty.
But it needs to happen.

Speaker 2 (58:05):
I mean, look last yes, yesterday's game, the second out
and the Rangers win was on a strike that was
at least a ball off the plate, maybe two. So
the national hitter I think was Josh Bell. If they
still on their challenges, could have challenged it and think
the game might have turned out differently. But my god,
it needs to it needs to be better. And I

(58:25):
really give a full throated endorsement of this actually happening.
How you too, And like that game that we've referenced
in Detroit when the Rangers had Fletcher, he had an
eighty seven percent called strike accuracy that game and this
was seven percent worse than one you showed. Yeah, and
both benches were bitching at Fletcher the entire game that

(58:49):
in Detroit that day, and so I can't even imagine
what was happening. Maybe maybe maybe this system will weed
out the bad ones. Maybe maybe that's part of the
design behind it.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
That might just be. That's why the ABS is coming
to a ballpark near you next year. So that's going
to do it for us today. We appreciate you hanging
