Speaker 1 (00:01):
So before we continue on with our conversation, and she said, oh,
we enjoy when we get to listen to the show.
We're on our way to Sunny Florida with Delta. Delta
is their dog who's riding in the backseat, and we
have many blessings to be thankful for. Ask Boots if
he's been to the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial in Sunbury.

(00:24):
And then she went on to say, I feel like
I finally met him at Dart Automotive because they have
a cardboard cut out of him.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I did drive by that and stop the other day.
That's very cool. I didn't get a chance. It was
I was running to East Hardware and I thought, what
is this? And then I might ask Molly, and Molly
explained to me, I.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Think you'll fit in perfectly in Sunbury.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I feel home now.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Where is the Avenue Wellness Center located. It's not in Sunbury,
it is in where it's in Hilliard, Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
And holidays we're right off the highway too.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Offering people what well.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
We have two packages that we are saying if somebody's
trying to get prepared for the holidays. There are a
couple of things. First, of all, some people are prepared
or preparing their appearance. And we have hyperbaric and we
have red light, and we have PIMP post electromagnetic field
therapy which actually helped build collagen and they reduce wrinkles
and they make your skin look wonderful and rosy because

(01:19):
they're increasing all the circulation. And then we have a
whole body vibration plate which also is for inflammation. But
then we have another little thing that we kind of
like too, which is we call it our Victory protocol
and it helps with anxiety and depression and stress. And
so as much as everyone always loves the Hallmark movies

(01:40):
and it's a wonderful life and all that kind of stuff,
it doesn't feel like that for everyone. And sometimes the
holidays are a huge, huge source of stress. You've got
the mother in law coming in to visit, and you've
got the sisters and the siblings and step kids.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Or whatever relative, or you're sad or you're you know,
right and.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
So exactly, and that can be really hard.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Just on a couple of days ago, I had to
go to the cemetery to be with my mom and
I have been her ninety fifth birthday and I'm like,
I can't believe I have to celebrate her birthday here
and she's the grave side right right. So when you
do have that loss, it's such a big part of
the holidays, because they were such a big part of holidays.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
So we have this.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
It's it's actually, uh, it's cranial electrical stimulation, which there's
absolutely nothing that hurts that you feel anything. It's not
like they're putting probes in your brain, you know. It's
just these two little electrodes that you put behind your
ear lobes and then we have stroboscopic light and people
come out. But we had one woman who came out

(02:45):
her blood pressure went down fifty points while she was
in for a twenty minute session.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
During the session, yeah you can see it's starting to drop.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
She came out, did it before.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
It's absolutely astronomical. And what happens in these people feel.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
So relaxed and calm when they come out. So we said,
you know, this is a really good tool too, knowing
that you could be all tensed and frazzled and you
know you're just you get headaches from it. It makes
your whole body react differently. So we said we have
body and brain right, you know, So we have two
different aspects that we can look at. We can help

(03:21):
you with looking better, feeling better there, but we can
also help you mentally prepare yourself for the holidays so
that you go into it and you feel calm and
you feel relaxed, and you feel able to go ahead
and address things.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
It's incredible.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
So the water thing, I want to change it up.
I'm in dying to ask you this. We've never in
the five years we've been together. Everyone's like, drink water,
drink water. Drink water, drink water, drink water. I can
only drink so much water. Do you tell people X
amount of day? Or should you drink twenty gallons of way?

Speaker 5 (03:52):
Here's the thing. If you are so, here's the baseline
in studies, this is what they say. If you're more athletic,
one liter per thirty pounds body weight. Here's the thing, though,
If you don't have enough salt in your system, you're
not going to absorb the water into yourselves. And we
make our own water. It's called cellular water. They call
it light water. It's actually it's not. It's very scientific

(04:13):
and it's it's true. But if we don't have enough
electrolytes and enough salts.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
We can't do that.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
So make sure that you're taking a healthy amount of
salt and a lot of water.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
There is a thing, such a thing as too.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Much water, right, I wonder that.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Because absolutely well, if you're not absorbing the water, if
you're not actually cellularly absorbing it, it doesn't really matter.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
So just do things mindfully.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
But you know someone who comes in and says, oh, well,
I drink two cups of coffee in the morning and
a cup in the afternoon, and it's got water in it.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
No, that's not water. Okay, it's dehydrating the gates by.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Way to thirty. I got to drink eight liters of
water a day.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Are you athletic?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
No, No for you.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Yeah, listen, just mind your yourself. Get to know your
body right. Are you thirsty?

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Are you in a bad mood? Especially women? You guys,
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
We get more cranky if we are dehydrated than men.
So if you're in a bad mood, get some water first.
If you're extra hungry constantly and not saturated.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Get some water. Just listen to your body that the
last time you had.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Water, Get some water. Are you drinking something that's dehydrating,
like alcohol or coffee.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Get some water. Do you eat a high sugar diet,
You need more water.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
You know.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I drink the most waters when I'm on the show.
That's what's weird, that's interesting. I drink. I'll drink five
bottles during really good Saturday mornings of the Pepsi's finest water.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
But well, your brain needs water.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yeah, okay, I just wonder because everyone beats water in
your head for the last ten years of your life,
and it seems to be the cool thing. Now in Gatorade, it's.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Not cool water.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Gatorad's out. I remember when nineteen eighty five, when Gatorade
came out in my world.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
I was like, Wow, if you guys need electrolytes, coconut
water has thirteen times the electrolyte cos.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
You came up to logan too, where you want people
to reach that turning point in their life and looking
forward to the new year.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
We are where you find your new turning point.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
So the new year thing is you would recommend what
are your top three.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Love yourself Before you go there, we want to go
to the phone lines because we have a question for
you ladies. And then consider those other two things.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Courtney.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Okay, Jerry, you have a question for the ladies at
the Avenue Wellness Center. Go ahead. You are on a
phone lines on six n.

Speaker 6 (06:30):
WTVN Yes, I'm calling in. My wife's been diagnosed with
Alzheimer's and has any of your procedures eight in that
she's also had a problem with seizures during your lifetime.
So some of the treatments, some of the treatments you
know as fall as magnetic stuff, they try to stay

(06:54):
away from right.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
And we're very careful with that.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
What I think you do is come on and we
do free consultations with our nurse practitioner, and come in.
We can give you guys a lot of good tips
for free, just for your lifestyle. Now, we can't ever
promise you that we will stop it in its tracks,
but we can promise that we can help any of
these side effects, and we can do our best to

(07:21):
see what's possible.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
It's so individual individualized because we don't know how far
along she is. And so when she comes in and
talks with our nurse practitioner, and you obviously would come
in with her, that will give our nurse practitioner a
chance to get her full medical history and see what
possibly is causing it, because you know, we were just
talking about water, and it's amazing the number of people

(07:47):
who think they have dementia when they're dehydrated.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
And though this is Alzheimer's, that's that's a little bit
of a different situation. We can definitely give you, We
can definitely give you advice.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
But why not, Jerry, why not try it? You know,
you got nothing to do in.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
It drinks a lot of water, now, I mean, that's
so more than right.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
One of the things that hyperbaric oxygen therapy does is
it liquefies the oxygen. Instead of the oxygen going in
as a gas, it turns to a liquid, so it's
sent through the plasma, so it's able to go to
spots in the brain that it couldn't normally, and that
opens up parts of the brain.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
So, Jerry, thank you for calling in. Look up the
Avenue Wellness Center online. Avenue is a ve e n you.
We're so glad you called in. All right, right before
we go to break we're up against it, Courtney, what
were the other two points you wanted to say.

Speaker 5 (08:38):
Love yourself, take care of your brain. And come in
to us. Truly loving yourself is the hardest thing people
can do.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's the hard biggest.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
The second commandment is love yourself like you love your neighbor,
like you love yourself. A lot of people find it
hard because they find it hard to love themselves.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
All right, what is the best way for people to
reach out to you?

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Guys? You can give us a call at six one
four three one nine three three five four, and you
can also go to our website at the Avenue A
