Speaker 2 (00:19):
They played Michigan next.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
I know that.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
When I saw Loo on the.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Schedule, I think it's home. I think that the twentieth
I believe it's home. A twentieth got a little girl
coming up to see Cammy from Martin's Ferry shoots her
hero and she gets come watch her place. So I'm
looking forward to So Mindy, I'll take that Sunday off
because I want to. Hell, that's Parents' Day too. So anyway,
Mindy got a better phone. She fright has the cheapest
phone you can buy. It's probably why it's cheapy you

(00:43):
get her anyway. I don't know if she can to
join Michale and MICHAELA. I won't want to do all this.
This is crazy anyway, So MICHAELA. They beat Penn State
yesterday and kick some butt, and Reagan we got we're
bragging about Reagan earlier. That's when I am He's best
friends and the girls are absolutely amazing, and it is
sad in a way. You know, I've never been in

(01:05):
the middle eighties debates. But you know, in Columbus, Ohio,
it is all about the Buckeye football and we do
have other programs. And even even the football players say,
hey man, pay attention to the softball team, the baseball team,
and the hockey teams. There are there is other stuff
in Columbus, Ohio except Buckeye football. Even know, we all
love Buckeye football, but when you got our little stud
ats in softball, you need to go ahead and come

(01:27):
see the games. What's the next home game? Indy?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
How do you ask? Because guess who comes to Buckeye
Field this weekend?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
That team up north? H Yeah, okay, and Michigan's having
a really good year too, so it's gonna be a battle.
It's gonna be a really great matchup Friday, Saturday, Sunday leaves,
come out and support the Buckeye's day. It's against Amazing Blue.
I mean, that'll be so fun. And then there's only
one more home series and then there's no more home

(02:00):
games for my daughter. I'm crushed. It's gonna be so sad.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
That's next weekend, right, and so that's Parents' Day is
next next Sunday?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Correct No, that's the net. That's the follow This weekend
is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Michigan Comb stands here playing. We're
playing at Michigan at home. That's the Easter weekend. The
following weekend is when Purdue comes to town, and that's
Senior Day and that's the last home.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Wait, they're playing a game on Easter Sunday.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I know right, they do every year.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
What Okay, so then we'll do a best of show
or something, because I'm not I got a granddaughter to
see on Easter. I didn't know.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
You know what, Boots. You brought up a really good point.
I don't think we did do shows last year for
Eastern No. No, I think you're right. I think we did.
I think we all were off. That's a really good point.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Okay, Well talk to michaelas.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yes, into the microphone, say I had to Jodie Buick
because he's listening. Remember you met the bub Oh.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yeah, Jody Buick, the coolest last name ever. There's two
ways you use the Buick name on automobile. When you
had too much a drink.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Well, when her daughter Sammy is up to bat. Yes,
I'm always like, come on, Sammy, drive at Buick Drive.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Remember oh yeah, Ddy you met in fall ball because
she was at the Butler rally when Trump got shot.
She was there.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
That's what we are. Yeah, they're really cool people. And
I got to say this, that's let's brag about Reagan
one more time. I don't think I heard you because
you're cutting in and out. What did Reagan accomplish?

Speaker 2 (03:30):
So Reagan hit three home runs today against Penn State.
That is the only She's only the third player in
Buckeye history to do that.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
You know how hard it is to hit two home
runs in the game. Let alone that if you hit
if you hit two home runs in the game, chances
are going to walk you the next time you get up.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
It was the same picture. What same picture?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
No different pictures.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Also too of them?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Get here about it is like three different times today.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Wow. And Reagan really got better with a new hitting
procedure that the coach brought to the team. Right to
the team.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Well, you got to remember Reagan didn't get to play
at all last year, so she really she was sick
all last year.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Remember, Oh that's right, that's right.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
And she didn't play her freshman and sophomore year. So
this was the first Reagan has been able to play
and she has just exploded this year.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Wow. Well, you love.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
To see good things happen to good people. Definitely waited
her time.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
I put Reagan and Cami on the same pedestal as
Carrie Underwood. I always told my girls, you want to
be Carrie Underwood or Kelly Pickler. And you know, Kelly
Pickler is a girl you date. Carrie Underwood's a girl
you marry. So I consider both those girls Carrie Underwoods.
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
So in your life, yeah, do you know more people
you would marry or people you would not marry?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Oh? I dated people like crazy I would never marry
or take home the mom I know. Heck yeah, you
don't bring to member my brother. He brought all of
Bembo's home and drove my mom crazy. But did you
ever get married my brother like like ten times? No,
he's on number four, he's on number three. So he
married Stacy. He has his wives are all named Stacy.

(05:16):
Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
That is funny, That really is funny.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
They're all spelled the lad.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Thank you Lad for filling in Lailo. Lad had so
much to talk about and Ladd, how do you stay
up on all the hot top lad?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Lad had an appointment. He had a boogiey on us.
He's gone.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
But oh I didn't know.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
That, Yeah he did, he did. He opened our eyes
to a lot of stuff. And Stand and Speak is
a great, great podcast on YouTube. Please go check it out.
And I do want to say this This Thursday, an
Honor flight, we have approximately eighty vets coming and we'll
flying from to d C and takeing care of him.
So you know how stoked I get on that.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Oh my gosh, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah. Do you think that Honor Flight is back to
what it was? You know, I know it was kind
of downskilled because of the pandemic, But do you think
Honor Flight is back to every that it used to be? There?

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Everything we had, we that we switched terminals. It was
the first flight of the season. Typically the first flight
of the season, we don't have about a thousand people,
but the last few flights last season we had three
thousand people at the airport. We still had two thousand
people with this last the first flight of the season.
Because of the people are so so they back on

(06:21):
our flight so much. And take care of these guys world. Unfortunately,
we don't have too many. I don't know if we'll
see another World War two VET or not, because most
of them are gone the World War two guys. Your
phone is terrible. Maybe it's picking of all kind of
road doing them. Sorry, it's like what are you doing?
It's like, here, you need a bag of Dorito's. That's better. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
So yeah, I ask you something. If someone has a
VET and they still want to get on and on
a flight they've never been before, is it too late
to sign up?

Speaker 1 (06:48):
No, never too late. We've got we've got our waiting
list is usually you know, if you sign up now,
you'll be on the in the fall flights. So wait, wait, wait,
this is the summer, so we skip midsummer, so we
come back at the end of summer because we can't
take a bunch of eighty year old men and women
into the heat. So we try to keep it spring

(07:09):
and fall to keep it so it's safe for the
guys and girls. Yeah, so honor flight. Just google onterflight Columbus.
So come right up and then top right to click
on VET. It's it's pretty easy because that's be honest,
most people over fifty hate computers. We don't have our
passwords memorized. We get very flustered, and it's just a
pain in the you know what. But Honor Flight's done
a really good job keeping it easy for the veterans.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Well, but if you've been involved with that for years,
and I know, it's near and dear to your heart,
you know, And that's that's what's so cool is you
get people interested in it, and it makes such a difference.
So we had our friend Chuck Taylor, who unfortunately passed away,
and you and I we tried to tell him to go,
I know, but he never went. And I think you
need to go, you know.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yeah, they don't realize how it's about them and nobody else.
And even veterans have seen the horrific things that we
think we know they saw, even though we would never
be able to put it together.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
But a lot of purple heart guys, he's like, he
doesn't want to remember any.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, but that's not what it is.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
He didn't want to do that. I know.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
It's camaraderie, man. And I gotta tell you one quick
story before we go. I got we got about a minute.
I was at the I don't know if you saw
it on Facebook or not. I was at the cricket store.
I call at the pet store and I walked in
with my forty five and forty seven shirt and all
the weird o libs were there. Man, they had purple
hair and combat boots. They look like they were ready
to go burn down some Tesla dealerships and the looks

(08:30):
I got. And a girl check them out. She goes,
I'm my trumpster do so God love her? She goes, well,
I don't tell anyone here because my boss hates him.
I'm like, why are we whispering?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
God?

Speaker 1 (08:39):
But anyway, I bought it.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
You're like, why are we whispering?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah? And who knew I'd ever have lizards? And I
go on a Sunday morning buying crickets. My goodness, I
got better thing to do.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
But my cut and lists, we're going right.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
There are my shop. They're on my desk. They were
in a cutlass is where we found them. So I
call one cut and I call one less and it's
a boy and a girl. After googling, so I may
have some baby be whatever these things are, they're pretty
cool though, it's been fun, but you.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Know what that. That just shows your heart. Really, I
mean done whatever those things have, you kept them. I
love that.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
I know most people let them go, but I figured
in Ohio, eventually I'll go back to Georgia and I'll
drop them back off where we found them. So we'll
take them back home.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
I'll keep them. They're gonna have a nice life with you,
and they won't become.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Like well, I might get killed at the pet store
wearing my trump stuff. You know, it's a double edged
sword in this world. If you're at Trumpster, they can
hate on you and call your races. But man, if
you're not you, you can do whatever you want. Burn
Tesla dealerships.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Look at Whitmer, the governor of Michigan. She went to
the White House and she's like been so degraded by
the Democratic you know what I mean. I don't think
there's anything wrong with Democrats trying to build a men.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
All right, we got you had ten seconds. Many your
friends like family, a family, right, have safe trip. Tell
Randy we love him more. And this has been robed.
