Speaker 1 (00:00):
Back at the studio at six to ten WTVN. But we
apologize for that long stretch of silence. Silence is golden sometimes,
but not in the radio world. So hopefully we'll get
everything going and working correctly. I think Lad dill Gard,
last time you and I were on the air together,
we had some technical difficulties. So maybe it's you and me.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
That's right, good bad luck. That was the Moose Lodge.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
It wasn't the Moose Lodge.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
And we couldn't figure out if we were on the
air if we weren't on the air. But thank you
so much everybody for joining us. We are raw Boots
is off today, Lad is filling in, and so is
Zach Duffy.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Who is Zach Duffy?

Speaker 3 (00:37):
You say, what does he do? What doesn't he do?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
First and foremost, he's a father of not one, not two,
not three, not four, not five, not six, but seven children,
and he owns his own business, Mold Mentor. And you're
on the school board at Big Walnuts. So, like I said,
Zach Duffy, what don't you do?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Well, I can't say be on the radio anymore because
you're doing that.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
That's right here, I am, Yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
We're going to dive into a little bit about mold
mentor what he does, why you should use him. Especially,
I talk personally when you may be looking at new
property and you want to know what's behind those walls,
because mold really can be more dangerous than people even realize,
isn't that right?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
That's right, yep.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
It affects our health, It affects our gut biome, and
it lives in dust, which is in.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Every home, and you find it.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
If it's there, we'll find it.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yeah, But I wanted to tell you, guys both. I
just got back from North Myrtle Beach. We go every
year with the Quartacrack's family, Great family vacation. It was
really a gift from Randy's dad. Every year we've been
doing this for more than a decade. And he gets
this big house and it has to be big because,
like you, Zach with seven children, mister k had eight

(01:53):
kids and they had kids. So when he passed away
several weeks ago, he was leaving behind his seven remaining
kids because he lost his son along the way, but
twenty nine grandkids and nineteen great grand kids. So we
wanted everybody to get together for a beach vacation. So
we did that every year, and unfortunately he was obviously

(02:15):
not able to be there this year, but everything was
still paid for. So first and foremost we're together as
a family. But then you're there in the Carolinas, and
no matter where you go or what you do, if
you're on the beach, if you're driving down the road,
I could not help but notice the pride that Carolinas
have in their country and right now in President Trump.

(02:38):
You're seeing President Trump signs, flags, clothes, bumper stickers, things
that you put in the window with like Trump and
a big thumbs up. Do you think it's different down
in the Carolinas than you see across here in Ohio?
Just your own opinion.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I think it's pretty intense down there. I would say
that there's a pretty good surge of support for the
Trump administration right now because things are headed in the
right direction. All the economic indicators are pointing upwards. But
it's encouraging to see that in North Carolina, where Tom tillis,
the Senator there, has said he won't be running for reelection,

(03:16):
and that's a good thing. He voted for. He voted
against the Big Beautiful Bill he's kind of been a
thorn in the side of Trump, and we're hoping he'll
get replaced by somebody that's a little more Bernie Marino
than Tom Tillis.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Boy, you talk about Bernie Marino and Zach you are
in politics yourself, being on a school board, and you
really did that, You dove into politics because I would
consider school board being part of the political scene.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Did you ever think you would do that?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Nope, I never thought I would do that.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
It was one of those situations where somebody mentioned something
to you and then somehow, deep down you know you
can't let go of that idea, and it was like
a seed was planted, and I after three weeks I
committed to running.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
And yeah, it is. It is political by nature.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Politics is a small group of people elected to make
decisions for a large group of people, so it's it's nonpartisan,
but it is political, and.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Sometimes politics can get so ugly as well. That's why
I guess I was so happy to see a love
of country and a love of the president. No matter
who the president is, we should always respect that person
in office, and it was really refreshing to see, especially
being there over Independence Day when you should celebrate your

(04:38):
great nation and to see all this and when I
say politics can get ugly, we look at across the
board right now, Republicans and Democrats, and my gosh, it's
just they're so divisive right now. Do you think it's
getting it all any better?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I don't. I don't think so. I think Democrats are
holding the hard line on we're going to be again.
Anything that Trump is for, they didn't come out. There
was all kinds of things in this big beautiful bill,
tons of things like no overtime, no taxes on tips,
you know, a social Security credit for older folks, and
no taxes on overtime, things like that. Did you ever

(05:15):
hear a Democrat come out and say, hey, you know what,
there's a pretty good idea in.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
There, you know, unless it was Fetterman.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Fetterman's he's gone off a little bit.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah, he's like the one Democrat that's kind of changing
his stance a little bit. But what I heard from
the liberal side.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Of still voted against it though, oh we did.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Vote against it. Oh I didn't realize that.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
But the one thing I always heard from the liberal
side is that people will die because of the big
beautiful bill.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Did you not hear that.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Oh my gosh, yes, did you hear that?

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Zech people will die if this big beautiful bill passes.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
That is the uh. I mean that anything, anything that
we do, the people will die.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
And if we don't do it, people will die.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
But why did they go to that extreme? I guess
is my question?

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Well, death is one of the top five fears worldwide.
No matter where you come from, what your background is,
death is one of the biggest fears. And so it's
it's it's playing on fear, it's emotional manipulation.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
And when I say politics can get ugly, I don't
just mean nationally. I mean look, when you ran Zach,
didn't someone paint a swastika on one of your political
signs vote for Zach Duffy?

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Yeah, they sure did they And my first thought was,
somebody that has Nazi ideology is coming after me, trying
to get me. But maybe they were trying to call
me a Nazi. I still don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Can you believe that that happened though, in the small
town of Sunbury, Ohio.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Yeah. What was really cool though, actually about that was
when I talked to lad He was one of the
first people I called to say, Lad, did you see
what happened? And Lad says, dude, that is a gift
from God.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
He did, That's what he said.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
He said, that's a I don't that's a gift from God.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
He was like, because first of all, it's going to
draw attention to your name. Well that is you get
to you get to now speak out against that sort
of behavior and use that as a platform. And I did,
and so and then I ended up on with Jack
Windsor and and Bob France on their.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Podcast with Us Too with you Guys or three.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Or four Mark, Mark Blazer jail ten News.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Yeah, well, you know what, Lad, I guess you were
right about that.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
It exposes the other side and right, and you won.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
You know what, And you think back, it was what
about a year ago now that President Trump was shot
at in Butler, Pennsylvania. And I think at that moment,
I can remember people whether they were Democrats or Republicans
or right there in the middle saying President Trump just
won the race after he was shot at because you
saw his his stance and his fight.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
What did you guys think when that happened. I mean, honestly,
that was really about a year ago now.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
It happened. It, I mean, it was, it was unbelievable.
Some of the responses to it that, hey, I wish
he would have not missed that, and that's sick, some
of the sick responses. But then the tough response by
Trump and you know, this sorrow over this innocent guy,

(08:22):
Corey Competoi killed. You know, it's just it was a
game changer, and you think about where our country would
have been if that kuk had been successful.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
And then you say kook.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
But we still have so many unanswered questions about who
he was, how that actually happened when people were pointing
to him, to law enforcement officers, look up there, look
up on the roof, and how it was able to
actually have a shot being fired inexplicable, And to this day,

(08:56):
a year later, we don't have a lot of answers
as to who this as you called him, kook was.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
But what we do have is that picture, which is
of President Trump raising his arm above, standing above the
Secret Service protecting them. Almost yea, they were ducking under him.
They were supposed to be on top of him, and
he came out on top with blood on his face
and yelling.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Fight right, fight, fight, fight, So our question to you,
and we're going to talk about some other things coming
up here. We want to know your opinions on things
that are going on in the political world. And the
big question right now is should the Indians be back
instead of the Guardians, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Guardians.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
We want your opinion on that.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
And also, if you did vote for President Trump, now
that it is almost mid July, are you glad you
voted for him or do you regret that vote? Call
us up at six one four eight two, one nine
