Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good beautiful Sunday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio. Everybody. This is
Lad Till Guard from the Stand and Speak Show on YouTube,
filling in for Mindy and Boots on the Raw Show.
Mindy is out in Knoxville, Tennessee, watching her lovely daughter
battle Tennessee and at last I heard it was three

(00:21):
to nothing Tennessee. Ohio State needed to win that game
and the next one to advance onto the super Regionals.
And Boots he's taken a day off until I guess
it's the just before a car show season, so he's
got a well deserved day off, and they've asked me
to fill in here and I'm honored to be here.

(00:43):
I'm joined in the studio today by my friend Rick
Saint Ange of Columbus Garage Flora Coding. How you doing today,
Riic doing wonderful.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Thanks, good afternoon.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
We're going to talk a little bit more about about
his company and the great work that they do. We're
going to talk to z Duffy of mold Mentor Solutions
later on, and we're gonna we're gonna give a little
bit of an Ohio State softball update. But the buffet
is full with topics today on Raw with me Indian Boots.
There there's a lot to talk about, a lot going

(01:14):
on in the news. We're going to deep dive into
a couple of those things. We're going to talk about Cutter,
the country of Cutter's gift of Air Force one to
the United States and its taxpayers. We're going to talk
about the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, who is under fire,
and uh, there's a there's a huge article in the

(01:35):
Dispatch a couple of weeks ago talking about how the
agency who is tasked with fighting discrimination is being accused
of discrimination, harassment, and bullying by there by their employees.
We're going to talk a little bit about the governor's race.
We know that Dave Yost, Republican has dropped out of

(01:59):
the governor's race. Vivik Ramaswami is fully in command. But
is Jim Trussell going to join and should he? Is
he going to join in the race? I think we'll
hear about that more in the coming weeks. And then
we're going to talk a little bit about what went
on in the Middle East last week with Trump and
what's coming up, what's in the news here this coming week.

(02:21):
So as far as Ohio State softball goes, what a
season they've had. They beat North Carolina in the regionals Friday,
they lost a tough small ball game to Tennessee Saturday afternoon.
They beat Miami in a run rule game last night,
and now they're playing Tennessee today and trying to stay alive. So, Rick,

(02:42):
have you caught any of those I did.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
I watched part of the Tennessee game yesterday, and they
are pretty awesome. Ohio State is fun and it's fun
to watch Mindy's daughter play, but Tennessee is a big,
big deal.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
I tell you sure. They had in the first game,
which she was tough. I wouldn't want to try to
hit her.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
That's right, she's got some power. I wouldn't want to
cross her either.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Well, Buckeyes, from what I understand, they've they've got the
best offense in the country, most home runs, most most
runs scored, and they're going up against a very tough
pitcher right now.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Right And you know, I think the difference for Tennessee
has been that their bats are really hot right now.
They've they've really been hitting them Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
So I saw that they had a two run homer
and a double another another rb I double. So they're
in the middle of it. That the sixth inning just ended,
the last last that I saw, So it's coming coming
to a head here. So what's Chris saying there in

(03:53):
the in the room.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
It's it's at the top of the seventh in Ohio
State is down five nothing.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Now that's five nothing.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, it's like you said, their pitchers are just pitching
like crazy.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
That's that's tough pitching.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Eighty eighty five miles now right down the middle.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I know that the winner goes on to play the
winner of the Baton Rouge Regional. Southeast Louisiana and Nebraska
are playing planning to uh to advance the super regionals
there and those Southern teams they are just tough, tough
to beat. So so Rick, you heard anything about this, uh,

(04:33):
this air Force one, this this gift from Cutter, Well.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
You know, only from watching the news and listening to
radio a little bit.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I got to tell you, I'm not as.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Excited about the issue as a lot of people are.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I mean, it just.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
I don't understand why people feel that that's going to
lead to some sort of quid pro quo on the
US's part or on Trump's part. I just see it
as a normal part of our relationship.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
With Qatar, which is a good relationship.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah right.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
And I also heard that this airplane deal was in
the works during the Biden administration, So you know, I
think there's more to the story than maybe is being
told by the left.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Right now, I think that's well said. So we just
cut up video on our stand and speak channel on
YouTube going into detail about exactly what Rick just said,
which is the Biden administration started negotiating the four this
seven forty seven eight plane gift from Cutter last year.

(05:50):
They want to give us, give this beautiful plane to
us for free. It's thirteen years old. I guess it's
a luxury liner. But Democrats are saying we're going we
should pay for it, and what are we going to
give them in return, as if there's a quid pro
quo or a demand for some kind of a favor. Now,

(06:11):
we've signed a lot of investment deals in the Middle East,
this list last year, trillions of dollars from the UAE,
from Saudi Arabia. And I don't think Trump is the
kind of guy to say you gave our country a plane,
and that plane is going to be owned by the

(06:33):
Department of Defense, and it's going to be converted to
the Trump Presidential Museum and Library at the end of
his term. And we're going to give them give away
a bunch of things that that doesn't make any sense.
Does that make any sense to you?

Speaker 2 (06:47):
No?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
No, And I have faith in Trump's ability as a
deal maker to be sure that that nothing like that happens.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
We'll get into that in a little more detail, but
of exactly what the terms of this is. But I
want to I want to tell everybody that if you're
looking for a basement or garage flooring solution, you can't
do any better with Rick and his team over there. Rick,
you want to give give your website and how to
get a.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Hold of people, Sure check us out at Columbus Garage
floor Coating dot com or give us a call weekdays
eight to four at six one, four, seven, three two, five,
six nine seven.

Speaker 1 (07:28):

Speaker 3 (07:29):
There is a link to request information right on our
website if you check that out, and you can also
look us up on Facebook. We do everything from residential, commercial,
industrial jobs and we'd be happy to talk to you
about yours.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
I have some some beautiful floors out there. I wish
I wish I had known you when I did my
own garage and basement, because it's not quite as nice,
well nearly as nice.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
It's not expected to be. You know, if it's been
holding up, then you did a great job.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
You know. But it's a lot of work. And we
do work.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
That we warranty and we'll warranty for life that it
won't peel up on you.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Very good, Very good. So is how's business these days?
Anybody holding back on investments or you're still not?

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Really for us, it feels like the economy is booming.
I mean, we don't have a problem of finding work
to do, and people are quite willing to, you know,
spend the money for a good quality.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Okay, very good, very good. So coming up in this
next half half an hour, we're going to talk about
a little bit more about Air Force one and and
the Ohio political landscape, and go into a little bit
more detail about some good stories Rick might have about
some garage floor solutions that he's provided for some customers,

(08:54):
maybe some funny customers that he's had over the years. Absolutely,
but it is any any update on that softball game.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Chris, it's the buck Eyes are up to bat and
the and their last chance. But it's still five nothing Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Oh man, that's tough.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
So it's yeah, but they did walk one batter, so
she got hit, so she's on first base. So so
we got runner first, ye on first. But it's we'll
see if something happens. But I mean, regardless, the buck
Hays had a great season. Nobody can deny that historic season.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Oh yeah, so we love our buck Eyes.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
Oh yeah, they's got to build build up from here and.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
In a new coach, right, first year coach.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
First year, yep, her first year and she's already turning
the program around.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Fantastic, great to hear. So yeah, we're gonna we're gonna
talk about what maybe some of the more aggressive of
we call them neokon types have said about the Qatar
gift cutter whatever you want to call them, and what
their complaints are and what the whole it's run, the

(10:15):
whole gamut of gifts between countries discussion this week in
terms of you know, France gave us the Statue of Liberty,
and you know, Japan gave us the cherry blossom trees
and the UK gave us the Resolute desk, and no
one said that there was going to be quid pro
quo and on all of these things, so there's just

(10:38):
a lot more that is part of the discussion.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
There was some speculation that maybe this would be a
way for them to eavesdrop, maybe the plane would be
full of bugs and things like that, But my understanding
is that it will get completely reconditioned before it ever
gets set up as Air Force.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
One by an authorized defense contractor. So so I guess
that's my that's my nod. You're listening to Raw with
Midian Boots. This is Lad Dilgard from the Stand and
Speak show, Always Protected by the Undefeated American made Tattletale
alarm system from the Heartland Bank Studios on AM six'
