Speaker 1 (00:02):

Speaker 2 (00:06):
My name is Mindy Mandy.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
I'm damn Boots.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Loneanette, right is it Loncheonette? We should have a show maybe, well.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Sad thing is that my shop I have a spectrum
and every time I walk in my shop and the
news is on, I got to see her. I'm like, oh,
there she's.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
He takes a picture of it, and it's like the
most awkward facial expression.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I'm like, can you do it?

Speaker 1 (00:30):
When I look halfway, I gotta show you the picture
I put on my my You know when someone calls you,
my poodle shows up on mine. Most time I took up,
put a headband on her, put a joint in her mouth,
and she looks like she's stone. She's like, you're killing you.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
It's been a while, and we'll introduce our guests in
just a minute.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
We have to we have to talk a little bit
first and catch back up, Boots.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
We have a lot of catching up.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
And then wait, one more thing. Yesterday I get home,
I'm changing heading to the moves because we're on our
golf cart give away for her flight. And I walk
in turn on a TV and there's you and Joe
I just I said, they're like they're like a fungus.
I said, you can run and then autograph. Yeah, So
tell us why you've been and why you've been going
I have.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
I wasn't supposed to be in studio today because the
Ohio State softball team was in Illinois playing their last
regular season game. As most of you know if you've
been following along for the last four years of Camie
Joe's career, last Sunday was Senior Day, meaning those were
the last home games that she'll ever play at Buckey Field,
that the season will play, that the team will play

(01:33):
the season. That was last Sunday, But that didn't mean
Boots that the regular season was over. They still had
to travel to Illinois, so it was Illinois Senior Day yesterday.
The games were supposed to be Friday, Saturday Sunday because
of the rain changed things up.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
We played two on Friday, one on Saturday, which made
me come home to you. We thank you last night.
Saved money because we got to cancel a hotel.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
That's what it's all about.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Saving money. So and so no, I was glad.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
What's a room one hundred and fifty bucks?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
It's more than that, especially now because what colleges do
they goug you because so many colleges are having graduation.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Mass Car does the same thing that all.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
These families come to campus and they, you know, rack
up the prices, good and bad of it. Though Cammy
did not get to I know you've showed me that
thing before. Cammy did not get to walk in graduation
like the rest of the seniors. But football players players
never do because it's during the season and they usually
have a ceremony for him during the hotels day on
Saturday night.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
But that was even canceled. But I'm kind of glad.
You remember sitting through eight hours?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Hell, it was hot, it was long. He had all
these speakers up there, just mumbled bit It's like shut up, dude.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah, So I'm kind of glad I dont have to
do that.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Does that mean of me as a no, No, you're
not want to sit through my daughter's college graduations.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
I had spent one hundred dollars on two hats. You
would have had a melt down. My father and I
and we were burning because we were writ in the sun.
So I went to the little concession stand. Things about
last year, Yeah, I got two Gilligan Island type had
looking things and I picked I and look at the
price and she goes, that's like one hundred and five dollars.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Like what I mean?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
And I'm like no, and I had to have him,
so I bought him. So I leave the tag on it.
Now it's the car shows. They because your tags on
your hat. I said, I want to prove everybody I
paid forty seven dollars plus tax or had I s date.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
He came to a Buckeye softball game a couple of
weeks ago and he had this Ohio state hat on
it and it still had the price tag.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
On it, like everyone's calling a mini pearl.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
So before we get started, I have something to give
to you. Doctor Cohen is listening right now, okay. So
when he was in and you were not, they gave
you this gift, and I said, we won't give it
to him till I'm in studio so you can see
what it is. So I texted doctor Cohen, say hi
to him.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
He's listen, doctor Cohen. He's my favorite.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Their office gave you this, So I'm going to the
Cohen or the people.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Okay, okay, I thought you meant it's light all right.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
What do you think it is? First of all, back brace? Yeah,
a back brace.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I bet it sounds like a.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
You know how generous, Doctor bry it's the best.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I ate someone's ice cream yesterday he brought.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
So what do you think it is?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
The bubblehead?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I think it's not a bubble head.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Doctor Cohen's.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yer truck test Tesla cyber trucks funs like it lights
up and does all this stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
It's opening up. Thank you, doc.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
See he's always so generous and thoughtful. Why I was
perfect for you? You have to explain why.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Because I'm in carnt number one, number two. He let
me and my boys put some wheels on it and stuff.
So it was the first test laver I got to
work on. I'm not anti Tesla by the way. You know,
I think you can drive whatever you like. And so
many people hate Tesla's. I mean, I don't like how
they got into the game. They didn't have to follow
the rules. We had to greg your car dealerships back

(04:50):
in the day. But they are cool and I am
I am these I'm fall in love with these things.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
So now he has his very own. I got my own,
but look at the license it's Cohen.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
So doctor Cohen, thanks for letting us present that. There
you go, hold it up to the microphone. Uh oh,
Boots has a new.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Toy the rest of the time. So so to give
you the idea because the studio, doctor Cone's gearhead like me,
I've got the Blue brother Blues Brothers police car. I've
got cars that I would never own, like a Pinto
and a Chrysler Station Wagon wood Grain, but I do
have some cars that I love. And then I've got
a complete duplicate of my fifty seven the day I
bought it over the junker.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
So are you going to add that to your It's
going to be right here.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
On the front road. We're going to retire something towards
the other window, and I'm going to.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Put the doctor con all right from doctor Brian Cohen
of Cohen Orthopedic. We have the ladies plus one today
of the that's why helping new Wellness center. But you
guys are changing things up a little bit. So Rebecca
Courtney introduced yourselves and who you brought in. Because Kimberly's gone, No,
she's just gotten today.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
That's when I meant she's not in studio. May she
rest she's gone. Don't give her a heart attack, my word. No,
she's not gone. She's gone for today's segments, and she's
been replaced.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
No today, I mean for today, she's on the bank.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
We have a guest speak a guest with us today.
So so I'm Rebecca and with the Avenue Wellness Center,
and this is Courtney and this is John. And I'm
going to get your name wrong, so last name Corey.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yes, yes, okay, good, I got it right.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Okay. So we just we wanted to talk a little
bit about you know, every every month we come in
and we talk about our hyperbaric oxygen equipment and our
pemph mats and our red light therapy and all of
the different things that we do. And yet one of
the things that we think sets us apart from other
facilities or other places is that we try to look

(06:52):
at the whole person. So I was just thinking through
and unfortunately I had this little quote. I don't know
if you found it, but we posted on our wall
and it says you aren't just what you eat. Did
you find that anyway?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
So I'm just coming up.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
I mean, she finds it, that's great.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
But she's looking, you're looking, right.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
I just had it.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
So I had this little thing that I put up,
and I said, you are what you eat and what
you drink, and what you read, and what you listen to,
and the people you hang with and you admire, trouble,
the habits you choose, sleep you get, the substances you
put in your body, and the beliefs you keep in
your mind. But I think, but it's also about what

(07:36):
you put out.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
You'd say, it is not only what you eat, it's
what you watch, what you listen to, what you read,
the people you hang around. Be mindful of the things
you put inside your body emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Yeah, And I thought that was a great, great way.
It was a much more eloquent way than mine. But
then I was also thinking about it's not just what
you put in, it's what you put out. It's the
effort you put out. It's the positive attitude, it's the hope,
it's the love, it's the faith, the compassion, or the
reverse of all those things. You know, those are just
as much a component of your health, because those affect

(08:10):
your mental health, your spiritual health, and all of those
have an impact on your actual ability to be a
whole person. So to that end, we've been talking with
John who is a naturopathic nurse practitioner.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
And wait, you say that first, we're a natural.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Path Actually, I've heard some people say it's nature apathic,
and I've always heard naturopathics, So somewhere in between the
two of them there's but it's I'll let him explain
what it is in terms of what types of things
that he puts a focus on, and then how we
integrate those types of thoughts, because I hesitate saying we're

(08:49):
an alternative place, because we're not really alternative as far
as yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
It's you're just thought as loved in the billing of
the world, the way it's structure where they can make money, and.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
You look at it like this, people come to you.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Other medical experts can't find answers to what's going on
to someone's body. You guys are that alternative to find
the answers.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
Yeah, and we find important precedents on helping people understand
how to become their own advocates. So not only do
they come and help find a place where they actually
healing actually occurs, but also they leave with a voice.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
So John, we're going to hear from you. We have
to take a break though, we are up against one,
so you.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Get to think of all these things that you want
to tell our listeners and why it is so important
that people stop living in unnecessary ways that they think,
you know what, this is just how I have to
live my life for the rest. You don't have to
live in chronic pain. You don't have to live with
headaches and migraines and everything. We're here to help you.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
So take a break when we think of that.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Though.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
When we come back, you got to think of what
you're going to tell everybody.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Ky I just raw Mini and Boots when we're brought
to you by the Undefeated America Mate never been beat.
