So I have a question for you, because we've had
so much rain lately. Is this a busy time of
the year for you to go in and inspect homes

This is the start of busy season for us. Yes,
it is. With real estate and full swing and the
heavy rains and high humidity causing mold growth, We're going
to be very busy. We already are.

Can you tell as soon as you walk into a
house or a business that they've been hit hard by mold,
even if the homeowner doesn't know.

Sometimes as soon as I set my first foot inside
the door, I can smell whatever's coming from below basement
or cross space. Other times, maybe it's not until halfway
down the basement steps that it hits me. But I
can generally smell a problem before see it.

And how dangerous can it really be for people? Some
people just wash it off like, Oh, it's no big deal,
it's just mold, and other people freak out. Honestly, how
dangerous can it be?

Well, I'm actually working with a team of researchers, research
scientists that at OSU to on some studies that actually
show that exposure to indoor dampniss invisible mold is associated
with negative health outcomes.
