Speaker 1 (00:05):
All right, we'll get the phones right away. I think
someone's calling in. Is that Mandy calling? Or is that Dick?
All right, we'll get the Dick from Dayton first, Dick,
what do you got for us? My brother?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Hey? What's up? Mister boots?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I'm much Do you got some good news? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I'm a year older. That means by buy stock and
iHeart radio and become a mandolin player.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
There you go, Well, anyone can do it. When are
you coming to town to play for us?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
We wanna make it? Maybe is about may or June? Buddy,
you let me.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
You give me a lookout block so I can make
sure you get the red Carpetry.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Show.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Okay, okay, finally out of break.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
What's that good to talk to?

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Good to talk to you, man. We got Mindy on
the phone, so take care of Dick. We'll talk to
you soon, Mindy. I heard you guys beat Penn State yesterday.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yeah. Did you guys go on a little early? Usually
we started at hour at three oh seven. You guys
stay a little early. Apologize for not being on with
you right away?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
No, it was three zero six is where we always
go on. I always thought, so I guess seven that's
on your little rundown. We go with whatever we could
pull off. But did you hear this?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
They won, They won the series, They won the first game,
they got a run rolled yesterday in the second game,
So you just didn't know what the heck was going
to happen today. You know, it's at their place at
Penn State. But we ended up winning. You know, your girl, Reagan,
Cammy's best friend, teammates, she made history today. She was
one of only three Buck guys in program history to

(01:32):
hit three home runs in one game.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
That is awesome. And Cammy had to were for two
hundred consecutive games.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah, how about that? That's how hard that is to
do when especially You've got to remember Cameron's freshman year
was getting toward the end of COVID and so you
had to get tested once a week. You know, there
were so many things. If you tested positive, you had
to sit out. So battling through that, battling through different

(02:01):
injuries and illnesses. To never miss one game yet to
have two hundred now two hundred and one consecutive starts
and games isn't wow.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
What's the record?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
We would have never expected that, like to something I
don't know, I don't know, but I just think it's great.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
And you know what, she got injured real bad last
year too, and she didn't miss a game through that
when she took one in an.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Login right, no, exactly, she broke her nose during a game,
came back the next day and started in her first
bat home run right after breaking her nose.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Amazing.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
But this was a big, big game, really important game
for big ten standings and also for the NCAA tournament.
So tell me what was so funny? But I was
gonna tell you. Randy and I were like so shocked
that this happened. But then we were talking to families
who are from Pennsylvania, not really shocked, but we thought
it was crazy. We stopped right outside of Butler, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
You know, we're, oh, yeah, I know the area really well, yeah,
go ahead, we lost you. I know where you're at.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
On seventy I did, I did read where the Buckeye
softball team is leading the nation and homers.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Oh yeah, they've they've got they've got a new coach there.
Mandy there, we lost you. Oh well, but no, Cammi's amazing,
and you know, people like, why do you love that?
Girl so much, I said, because every father wants a
perfect daughter because we're boneheads. But she is a good kid.
She is just a good and she's smart, she's attractive,

(03:33):
and she's a great athlete.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
I remember when she played for Westerville Central, when my
daughter was playing for Big Wall.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
And I'm back, Yeah, where.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Did you go? Where you at? What part of seventy years?

Speaker 3 (03:42):
We're in the mountains, I know, mountain. Wait, who are
you talking about? Who played for Central?

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Wasn't that your daughter that played for Central?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
No, no, noge North right.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
No, she didn't go to Western City School.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
She went to the Yeah, but all the high school
girls know are from then your daughter played against right,
guarantee you that where did your daughter play?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
I don't think we ever played Central and uh no,
because they were doing divisions. But anyway, what I was saying,
I don't know if it's time for a break, but
I want you guys to hear this, so wor I'm
sorry about getting off and on because we're in the mountains.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
So if we got three minutes, we're good. And we
got three minutes. Listen, Okay, you're in the mountains. Listen blank,
listen blank, we're listening. We're listening to dead air. I
know exactly where she's coming from because I came. I

(04:35):
come through Pete delivered cars out that way and I
just shut my phone off.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Here you are, now, can you hear me? I think
we're out of the mountain.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Tell Randy to quit swerve.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
So what did you guys hear me say?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
You said lessen and you want dark.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I'm so sorry. We stopped in Butler and Butler, Pennsylvania. Okay,
right outside of where President we go to a Burger
kne and instead of talking to people as soon as
you go up there, you have to go like to
a kiosk and put your order in. I know you really,
I've not seen that in Ohio.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Donald's is doing it everywhere. Yeah, it's terrible. They can't
get the kids to work. They don't want it. The
jobs that you and I had, they don't want the
jobs that we had that's below them.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Only you've already seen that in Ohio.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I was like, I refuse it.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
I go I would rather talk to people.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah, I got to the counter.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
You don't. You don't have an option to go to
the counter, is what you're saying, Like Burger King did that.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I thought there was somebody. Yeah, Burger King did that.
Not so much standing there. But you didn't want anything
to do, and you were almost you knew that this
is what you were supposed to do. So you punched
in your order like a a kiosk and then your
food comes out. And I was like whoa. And so
when you talk to families that are from Pennsylvania, they're like, oh, yeah,
that's all over here.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Now, Pennsylvania is a little libby. I will say one
thing about Pennsylvania. You got Philly, you got Pittsburgh, you
got a lot of big cities, you know, the original cities,
And there are a lot of lefties. And let me
tell you exactly what's going on there. For the people
with the martini looking at the old MG out in
the garage holding their pinky in the air, if their
kid works McDonald's, they're embarrassed. Oh my god, where in

(06:11):
the old days. If your kid did that job, it's
like my kids really learning the rope. So someday he
could be a successful worker. Now the parents that's below
their kids, you understand that.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Right, Yeah, it's just crazy to me, But yeah, they're
governor's Josha Piro out here.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Yeah, and you're in Butler, PA. So you're on seventy.
You'll be in the tunnels here in about a half hour.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
No, we were there on the way up here. We
just left Happy Valley State College, PA. Oh okay, I
did get to see That's the first time I've ever
seen their football stadium. It is impressive and they're doing
all kinds of renovation work for it, like you know
what happens when you win, donors give money and you build.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Oh yeah, that's the biggest evil on the planet. Monday,
so we covered all the tariffs and things are going on.
And I tell you what, Mandy, you missed a good
show because lad has been awesome helping me see the
light of it.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
That is, he knows this stuff for sure, he really
really does. Fact though, I have a survey that I
want to talk to you guys about. And is this
just supposed to help men's healthy. It has to do
with the women's anatomy.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Okay, all right, we're going to break that's.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
A real study that was done and we're gonna see that.
We'll talk about when we come back.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
All right, we'll be back about two minutes. Well three minutes.
