Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys, we are back in studio.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
You guys are back in studio.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Rebecca, Rebecca, We're back in studio, but we need to
take a break from the Avenue Wearing Center because we
have Vance on the air with us.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Linda, it's been a while since I've talked to you.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
You've been stuck with Boots for the last several times.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Stuck. See are you gonna make it?

Speaker 4 (00:30):
So?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
You gotta enlighten me, Linda? What's going on in Advance
these days? What have I missed out?

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Only have a new flyer out through the end of May.
We have if you're a Springfield fan, we have a
giveaway for a Springfield echelon, and of course we're in
full time training mode.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Well that's good. I mean I was turning off the
ball and so I could hear better, so I was
waiting for you. So anyway, so the new flyers up.
So what's the best thing about the new Flyer?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Well, you know, we always have all of our gun specials.
We've all kinds of amodals and intriggers and all the
good stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
What makes you wait? What makes you not buy a
gun every time it comes out? How do you control yourself.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
That end of the store is very expensive.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yes, yes, stay away from right.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
We have a couple of ladies in studio right now, Linda.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
And what Linda does is she helps train people for
if they've never shot a gun before, if they're going
to become a first time gun owner, or just to
keep people fresh on their skills. And so, Linda, I
want you to tell them how much more needed you
are these days because more and more women are becoming
gun owners.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Absolutely, we had four or five ladies in class yesterday
and all random age groups and of so, yeah, it's
just really important to get the training if you're going
to have that tool.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Linda, am I correct by saying that females make the
best snipers because we have smaller diaphragms.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
I don't know the statistics on that, but simply because
there's not as many women in that actual job for
a reason.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, but women are nicer than men. So I can't
imagine a sniper being a female one that will take
people out. I could see a guy being a bonehead.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Women are just more miss Linda.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Do you do you do you allow children to come
in and be trained, kids who want to hunt, but
should do it properly with respective that the tools.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Uh. Absolutely, there are hunter safety courses that we do.
I personally have a fire and safety class for youth,
and our range allows ten and up. If you're you know,
the parents have this guilt to teach them, you.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Know, Linda, at one time they used to send people
like you out to the schools to talk to the
fifth sixth graders and teach them gun safety and not
touch guns and how to handle it so the so
they're not intrigued by them. Would the school still do
that or they just tell you guys, nope, get out
of here.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
No.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I think that's done more. A lot of the police
departments do that now, but unfortunately by fifth and sixth
grade it's too late.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Oh really, okay, what age should if someone has a
little boy or little girl at the house and you
have firearms, what age do you recommend they send them
to you to be taught?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Well, you know, you start that at home. Of course.
Terra's website has an Eddie Eagle video for little Little
kind of a cartoon video. But just getting that education,
getting rid of that curiosity is really important. I think
this five and fifth and sixth graders already know too much?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
All right, Linda, what is the best way to people
to get a hold of you?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
To reach out.

Speaker 1 (04:05):

to get their family involved, or they just want to
see all the neat camping stuff you have out there.

I almost think you enlighten people so much because I
just think people are so convinced that they have to
live their life in paint because they just aren't getting
any answer. So they're like wood Boots says, suck it
up and live this way.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
No, you don't have to. Don't do that.
