After a stretch of comfortable days, humidity nudges higher today, especially across Southern New England, and some of us are feeling it as we step out the door this morning. The uptick in dew points into the mid-60s is enough to notice, though it won’t last long - it drops back again overnight tonight.
Matt Noyes looks at a light onshore wind that will have little impact on surf, but will keep the coast cooler than inland areas - mostly hovering in the 70s.

Temperatures climb into the upper 80s and near 90°, especially across southern and central New England, but a light wind and afternoon sea breeze will provide some coastal relief. Let’s start with tonight: another perfect open-window night across nearly all of New England. Dew point temperatures are running in the 50s, with some spots dipping into the 40s overnight, especially across the interior and north.
