Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ten thousand fists on see when alone there is disturbed. Yeah,
I didn't realize when I had a honey that it
would come along with honey dews and not just you
know things that I commonly do around our place. But
now this includes Michelle's children. Her daughter bought a house
and it needs all kinds of you know work done.
I mean it's fine, but you know, creature comfort kind

(00:23):
of stuff. So yesterday we take like the hour and
ten minute road trip, which believed me. After getting off
the air, I was so excited. Had to grab every
tool that I own, but you love them, You're gonna help,
And so every tool went into the car, along with
her favorite dog, Oliver. Yeah, he got to go to
It was kind of like a field trip for him.

(00:44):
And then we get to the house and there's all
kinds of stuff that I had to work on. This
after going shopping at the home improvement store to get
everything that I would need, because it wasn't just like
fixing little things. It was like replacing the entire door
lock with a digital dead bolt and stuff like that.
But I made a list of the things that I

(01:05):
did at this house. I need to get in with Angie's.
Do they pay well when people come over to do
stuff to your house. I installed two vanity lights in
both bathrooms, installed two nest thermostats, changed all the hardware
in the kitchen, like all the little pools and things
like that on different drawers and cabinets. Removed one mirror

(01:30):
and installed a new mirror. Filled all the nail holes
after pulling out all the nails, adjusted the dining room
light which was hanging too low. Installed a new intake
filter for their air conditioner. Installed a new vent for
one that looked crappy for you know where it blows out.
Installed a brand new kitchen faucet, and installed a shower

(01:51):
curtain rod one of the big curved ones, and then
installed the front door combination dead bolt and latch. I
also hung a swing for Jackson. You know, technically they're
saying that he's my grandchild, but you know we're not.
We're not, like we're not blood related. But I'll still
I'll still take it, you know, if he calls me Paul,
Paul someday, I'm cool with that. And then repaired the

(02:14):
dryer vent. Now, dryer vents are a huge pain in
the butt. Anybody that's got one of these slinky hoses,
you know how badly they get kinked and whatnot, and
you got to fit down in that tiny little space.
I'm thinking about any one of those magnetic ones. You know,
they like automatically you shove the dryer into place and
it goes click and then jumps to itself, you know,
and and and and seals off. But those the Devil

(02:37):
made these vents. I'm sorry. I don't know who invented
dryer vents and the whole venting system for dryers, but
chances are it was bi Alzebub. It was the Devil.
The dark Lord is the one that did this one.
The Devil is the one that came up with this design.
There's got to be a better way to hook up
a dryer vent than squeezing behind a dryer and then

(03:01):
working with those clamps and then you go to push
it in place. Damn thing pomps off. It's just it's
not fair. And for all of my work, what did
I get? I got Chick fil a sandwich. Yep. Michelle
came home with like bags of stuff, like boxes and stuff.
She's got a birthday coming up in a couple of days.
So it was one of those things where, oh, look,

(03:21):
this is for your birthday and this is a pair
of these awesome boots that I bought but I've just
never worn it. Bubb blah blah. And there I am
sitting there with my sweaty with my Chick fil A sandwich.
These are see, guys were not appreciated nearly as much
as we should. Oh no, there was a thank you
and a hug, but I mean, come on, daddy, want

(03:43):
merchandise too, Got Breaking Benjamin coming up for you, along
with Ozzy Osbourne. That's next on Sea one on one
