(00:00):
You couldn't ask for a worse dayto pull a trailer between Corpus Christie all
the way up above Fort Worth, like an hour to the northwest of Fort
Worth. That's what I did yesterday. It was a ridiculous pull. I
talked about the trailer and losing myplate. Let me tell you what I
had to bring home and shells, like, oh, there's a couple of
(00:20):
things, you know, Gretchen's holdingfor you. Just stop by and you
know, you guys can load itup. It take you like ten minutes.
Not a big deal. Huh uhNo, no, no, we're
talking like a refrigerator, file cabinets, five boxes of books, cardboard boxes
which will come into play here ina minute, a bunch of plastic bins
with all kinds of yoga stuff, and you know those big wire shelves with
(00:44):
like the you know, the thesteel rods and whatnot. Four of those.
My trailer was so completely overloaded.I don't even know how I was
able to pull it like that. The springs compressed so badly that I I
swear I heard it going kick in, hitting the top of the fenders on
the trailer. Horrible towing situation yesterdayand then factor in that ridiculously bad weather.
(01:12):
At one point, this is afterseeing eight at least eight different vehicles
that had hydroplaned and spun around andhit the wall on the freeway. One
of them like, what was that, Like a brand new Dodge charger with
paper plates, just slammed. Andthere were vehicles that had skidded off the
road. You could see the trail, you know, where the grass was
(01:33):
just destroyed, and the vehicle sittingout like in the middle of a field.
It was ridiculous weather yesterday. Atone point, I had to pull
over because I look at my rearview mirror and I could see one of
the boxes was starting to break apartand it's full of paper and books.
So I pull over into this kindof a construction site where they're building I
guess a future gas station. Nobodywas there. I back underneath that awning,
(01:53):
but it didn't help at all becausethe awning is like thirty feet in
the air and the rain is stillblowing sideways while I'm out there getting completely
soaking wet yesterday, wondering about allof my life's decisions while I'm loading everything
into the vehicle. I had itso packed full of everything. You couldn't
put a needle in the vehicle withme. By the time that I unloaded
(02:15):
four cardboard boxes full of books,I literally drove with stuff behind my heels
and finally made it to the farmhousenine hours later. It was absolutely disgusting
weather to drive in. But I'malive and I'm safe now, and it's
(02:36):
behind me, and Michelle is gratefulthat I brought home all of her touch
keys. So there you go.I got breaking, Benjamin. I'm not
kidding. At one point, I'mnot listen. I prayed, you know
the name of the Father and theSon in the Holy Spirit, Dear Lord.
It was one of those I literallyprayed that I would get home safely.
(02:58):
It was that bad. Yeah, yesterday, Breaking Benjamin, Angels fall
for you right here on Sea oneoh one. I should post a photo
of what I had to pull.I was way overloaded.
