Three things you need to know six o'clock on the
Dot on this Tuesday morning. Thank you for joining us,
Thank you for being here, starting your day with us.
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
The TV show prison Break is getting a reboot on Hulu.
The show is set in the same world as the
original series, but it's gonna have a bunch of different
characters and a whole new storyline. Algon James, the co
creator of the TV show Mayans, is going to be
the writer, showrunner, and executive producer on the series. He's
also going to direct the first episode, so he's going
to direct the pilot. I'll keep you updated on one
(00:30):
that's expected to air. Just know that it is actually happening.
There were rumors end of last year.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
But now it's definite.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Popeye's Thanksgiving is back their Cajun style turkey. It's a
whole turkey season cooked and then frozen, eleven to thirteen pounds.
It can serve eight to twelve people ninety nine dollars
for this plus tax. If you're ordering for delivery, you
could also pick it up in store for fifty four
to ninety nine. This is great if you don't actually
want to cook for Thanksgiving, and if you don't actually
(00:59):
want to cook Thanksgiving, I do not blame you whatsoever.
You can order it online for delivery or in store pickup.
Better do it soon because there's only a limited amount
and they are going to sell out pretty fast. As
someone who like for the first time, tried making Thanksgiving
dinner when I moved here four years ago, oh, I
have such a new respects for people who do the
(01:22):
entire Thanksgiving dinner. Oh my god, just like you and
AJ and I, and it was still so much work.
I'm just impressed by everybody who does it. And if
you just don't have the time, Popeye size your back.
And the Hutton Hotel has announced Broadway Off Broadway. This
is gonna be a month long multisensory event. It's gonna

live music venue inside the Hutton Hotel, and it has
a lineup of Tony Award winning actors, a bunch of
Broadway legends, Primetime TV stars, everything you can imagine. Opening
night is October twenty fifth. Tickets and all the details
that you need are up on Huttonhotel dot com.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
That's very cool.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Thank you, Ricky, and thank you for starting your day
with us, for getting back into the music. We do
have those Dollywood tickets within fifteen minutes. You've got them
all week.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
For the first caller of the day, you can win
them next right here on the river, the.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
River, Nicky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Good morning, it's one o seven five the river. We
are currently looking for our first caller of the day.
We've got Thomas in Nashville on the line. Good morning, Thomas,
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
How you doing this morning?
Speaker 6 (02:33):
I'm good? What are you doing this morning?
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Not?
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Then?
Speaker 7 (02:38):
What are you doing for the rest of the day.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Was that your job? Is that what you do?
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Okay, then yeah, it's probably a good idea to go,
uh go do it?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
What what type of landscaping I do?
Speaker 6 (02:50):
Malin and Lee.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I read recently that landscapers are the most physically fit
career that you could be in because there's so much
moving around and then you're working hard out there.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Yeah, it's good exercise.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Yeah, you know, we just sit around all day and
that's really not great for us.
Speaker 8 (03:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (03:07):
I mean, also it depends on the type of landscaping,
because my mom mosts her yard all the time. But girl,
that's a sit down lawnmower. She got a beer in
her hand, like that is not super fit.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
That's a little different than I think Thomas is doing, right, Thomas, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
For sure.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Hey, you're the first caller of the day today. Let's
go ahead and tell you congratulations.
Speaker 8 (03:26):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
You're gonna get tickets to Dollywood, which is perfect.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
It's just in time for Harvest Festival.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
And then the Smoking Mountain Christmas. So congratulations Thomas, and
thank you for hanging out with us. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Can I sing to you really quick if you enjoy
the music? I have a song to sing to the winner.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Well, it's not gonna be great, Thomas.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
No, it's gonna be get here.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
You won you won you one Thmas.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
It was like my thank you nine Dolly.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
See Thomas is really nice to you. Because he said
thank you, I thought that.
Speaker 6 (03:59):
Was and I appreciate the effort.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Thomas. Hang on the line.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
We got to get some info from you so that
you can get these tickets.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Okay, all right, hang on, buddy. We have more tomorrow,
same time, six fifteen and maybe a new song. Is
that added value?
Speaker 6 (04:16):
Heck yeah it is. Kevin will sing to you tomorrow morning.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Can't wait.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Ricky is, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning. I'm one O
seven five the river. Good morning. We just had some
house guests.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
We had our friends, the Deep's family family of five
staying with us. So there are three kids plus my
two kids. It's five kids. And we'd find ourselves out
at restaurants and things would get a little chaotic. But
I was proud of myself because I invented a game.
I didn't really invent it, but a game that I
would use to entertain everybody that I would like to
play with Ricky and.
Speaker 6 (04:47):
Zach, Kevin the inventor. Sure, let's play your little game.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I just want to say, five kids is too many
kids to do anything with.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
Yeh.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
It was great and they all enjoyed the game. It's
kind of like my own spin on family feud. But
I'm going to ask you, Ricky and Zach during the
TI I'm gonna text you, guys, some questions and when
we're gonna play this game next?
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Okay, all right, wait, how do you win the game?
Are you gonna explain that too?
Speaker 4 (05:07):
No, nobody wins? What just for fun?
Speaker 6 (05:11):
I'm mad?
Speaker 5 (05:12):
Now? Next, Nicky Zach And in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
You're about to play a game that Kevin claims that
he invented. Uh And I don't know if we can
even call it a game because apparently there's no way
to win the game.
Speaker 7 (05:25):
Anything that goes through Kevin's head automatically terrifies me.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
But sure, let's play your game.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
It's easy, it's simple, I say, I invented it.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
There's not a whole lot to it.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
But we were out at restaurants with five kids, and
like when things would get a little too rowdy, I
just took over and I would start playing this game,
and everybody was really into it.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
And I was proud of myself for controlling the chaos.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Okay, chaos controller.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
That's not typically in your repertoire, Gator.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
No, not when I'm in dad mode.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Let's go and try this quote unquote game.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
So, Ricky, I'm gonna start throwing this towards you.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Okay, Okay, I'm gonna put on my Steve Harpy pants
here for a second.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
Exactly one. Zach was surveyed.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Okay, the question was name a scary movie, Ricky, what
movie do you think?
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Zach said, And then this is the part where there
was moore people.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
They would all talk amongst themselves and try to come
up with an answer. He doesn't work as much with
fewer people.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
This is more like Matt's game.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Okay, Uh, scary movie. I don't even know that he
knows any scary movies.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
The first one that came to his mind.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
I'm gonna say this isn't what he said, but I'm.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Gonna say scream.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
It was the Conjuring a Shot.
Speaker 6 (06:33):
I watched it.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Oh, shocked even more, Zach exactly one.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Ricky Ricky was surveyed. She was asked, what is your
favorite chain restaurant?
Speaker 4 (06:45):
What do you think? She said, Taco Bell.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
L Rose. Oh, I mean it's kind of a chain.
It's a local chain. It's a chain, wow, Ricky.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Exactly one.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Zach was surveyed if he was on a road trip,
what would be his go to gas station snacks?
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Oh my god, this is the hardest one because there's
so many to pick from.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Lives on gas stations.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Yay, Oh my god. Part of me wants to say
sour gummy we.
Speaker 6 (07:12):
Wor yeah it was sour gummy word.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Theother one was going to be pickles.
Speaker 6 (07:18):
That both very valid answers.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Last question here, Zach exactly one. Ricky was survied. What
app does she use the most? What is her most
used app?
Speaker 7 (07:31):
Oh god, I feel like it's got to be either
TikTok or Instagram.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Narrow it down. We need a final lance on with TikTok.
I guess there is winner, and that winner would be Ricky.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Though you were close.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
I feel like they're like very close.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Yeah, you were close. You're close.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
I would do this with you know, we had a
bunch of people, so all the people would get to
put their heads together and come up with an answer
and then give me their final ans. And it really
passed a lot of time and everybody had a good time.
So the next time you're out with the group and
things are a little on room, try this out.
Speaker 6 (08:01):
It's actually pretty fine. keV.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah, I enjoyed coming up with the questions and you
guys did not do very well, but congratulations.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
My god.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
Three things you need to know, all.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Right, just after seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning. Hello,
good to see your Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Wicked for Good has added to their cast. Coleman Domingo
is going to be in this new one. He's best
known for his roles in Euphoria, Russen, and most recently,
the Netflix comedy The Four Seasons, and now he can
add the Cowardly Lion to his lists. Cool director John
mch told Deadline that he sent Coleman a DM on
Instagram to pitch him the idea of playing the Cowardly Lion,
(08:39):
and Coleman was all in. That's as easy as it was.
Wicked for Good is the follow up to Wicked. It
releases in theaters on November twenty first. So it's kind
of crazy that they kept this a secret for so long, Like,
I don't know how they managed to do that, but
I'm impressed and I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
November twenty first, mark your calendars.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Spotify has partnered with the Netflix on a podcast deal,
so starting early twenty twenty six, Netflix users are going
to be able to watch a few Spotify studios and
The Ringer Video podcasts. So when it launches, they're going
to focus on three main categories, sports, lifestyle.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
And true crime.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
So right out the gate, there's not going to be
a slew of them, like there's not a whole lot
to choose from, but they're going to obviously add more
and more to their repertoire as they go on. This
is huge for both Spotify and Netflix, and obviously even
bigger for all of these podcasts that have started as
just a podcast.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
And moved into something like this. So this is a
big deal.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
And Panda Fest is happening this weekend in Nashville. This
is a weekend long celebration of food, culture, and community.
You can expect a unique blend of authentic Asian cuisine,
cultural performances, and Panda themed experiences.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
This is an all ages event.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Tickets are currently on sale on their website at Panda
Fests with an ass at the end dot com. I
wish I would going to be here this weekend so
that I could go. I'm actually really upset that I'm
gonna miss this, but like I said, you can buy
tickets on their website. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
the three things you need to know, Ricky.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
If you could be any sort of a bear, What
would you choose? You got Pandas, you got Koalas, you
got polar bear.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
WHOA, I really like red Pandas, so I go with that.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Yeah, is that a bear?
Speaker 5 (10:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (10:19):
I guess it's kind of like a bear.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
I mean, well, yep, I confused myself with my own little.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Weird question literally options that took them all away.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
Pandas are bears?
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Okay, here we go, Benson Bone coming up in a
few minutes. Here we're gonna learn not for me from
Zach Zach's bed.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
On the River.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
I'm really excited about this because for Zach's facts on
one O seven five of the River, we're gonna discuss
bears because Van just confused the head out of himself
and everybody else around him.
Speaker 7 (10:53):
Pandafest is happening in Nashville this weekend, and Ricky was like, oh,
red Pandas are my favorite, that's her favorite bear.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
We looked it up.
Speaker 7 (10:59):
And read Pandas are not a bear because they're not
closely related to them.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Let's clarify though that Kevin said, if you could be any.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Bear, grizzly bear, polar bear, panda, bear.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Which one would you be? And I was like, Oh,
I'd be a red panda. They're not even panda.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
They're not even pandas, and they're not even bears. A
giant panda belongs to the bear family. They're red panda.
I don't know why they call it. That is more
closely related to weasels, raccoons, and scum.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
This is so misleading. It looks like a raccoon. But
this is very misleading.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yeah, why is the word panda in the name. It
makes no sense.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
I think it might.
Speaker 7 (11:31):
Be because of what they eat, because pandas typically are
originated in the word panya. It means bamboo eater, so
maybe they eat bamboo.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Huh.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
I don't know. But it's not a panda and it's
not a bear. It's a red panda. There's your fact
of the day.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
A panda is not a panda.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
Thanks Zach Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Youth privileges. Do you miss it's one of seven five
the river. I was talking about my nephew yes yterday
with the guys, about the fact that he has the
most energy I've ever seen in a child before in
my life, and.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
It makes me so jealous. I wish I could just
take an ounce of it. They just have so much
energy when they're young.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
We're tired all the time, all the time.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, man, I talk about this with my kids all
the time. All the things that they take for granted.
They don't realize youth is wasted on the young. That
is a great quote.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Six seven three seven nine, one oh seven. Tell us
what youth privileges you really miss?
Speaker 5 (12:31):
One o seven five of the River, Ricky Morning, Clarksville.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
We're talking about youth privileges over here because my nephew
has the most energy that I've ever seen a little
kid have, and I'm very jealous of him. So what
youth privilege do you miss?
Speaker 6 (12:49):
Jamie preach for the people in the back. Say it
again a little louder.
Speaker 8 (12:54):
Not having a pay bill.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Yeah, the concept of money, like what even is and
how it works, like that whole idea.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Oh I miss that love Heaven.
Speaker 8 (13:06):
Store money to go buy a candy. Sure, I definitely.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I'm gonna bundle like insurance and doctor's appointments all in
with that as well.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Yes, just have no concept of any of that.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
We do it all for them and they don't realize
how lucky they are.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
I have no idea. I will say.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
One of my favorite things that my mom always talks
about when we were little is that when we would
be at like stores that had toys, we would run
up to my mom and we'd be like, but it's
only nineteen ninety nine, not knowing what that actually because
you have no concepts of money here.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
You're just like, it's so cheap.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Jamie, thank you for recalling. We appreciate you.
Speaker 8 (13:44):
Hey, I just want to let y'all know, y'all make
my morning every morning, Oh.
Speaker 6 (13:48):
Jamie, thank you.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Listening to y'all.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Y'all make my drop for work so much better.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I mean, like I cannot wait to hear what shall say?
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Sweet, thank you so much. That is so kind. I
am blown away right now.
Speaker 6 (14:02):
Same, I'm like, thank you. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 7 (14:04):
Sometimes we forget that people listen because it's just like
the three of us sitting here talking, and then when
people are like, hey, we listen, I'm like, wow, people
outside of this room.
Speaker 6 (14:12):
People, that's so nice.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
It does feel like that we do appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (14:15):
Jamie.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
That's very nice for me to say such nice things.
Thank you for starting your days with us.
Speaker 9 (14:19):
Thank you have a great day.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
Love what a sweet yo? Six one, five, seven, three,
seven nine one oh seven.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
If you want to join the conversation here, what youth
privileges do you miss?
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Zach?
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Do you have an example?
Speaker 6 (14:31):
Yeah, I gotta throw one in.
Speaker 7 (14:32):
I absolutely totally miss being able to sleep till one pm.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Our body clock just doesn't let us do that. No,
especially because we're up so early now.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
I'm like sleeping in at seven fifteen and I'm like, whoa,
look at me?
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Go I ever sleep until one o'clock?
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Be concerned, doctor, Please let us know if you have
something to add here.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
On seven five the River.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
What youth privileges do you miss? That's our question this morning.
Our friend Sandra is on the line. Hi, Sandra, what
is it for you?
Speaker 10 (15:05):
I miss being able to eat whatever I want?
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Oh yeah, that's a good one.
Speaker 8 (15:09):
I'm worrying about what it would do to my health.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
The metabolism.
Speaker 7 (15:13):
Yeah, when you're super younger, like a little baby, and
you're just have like all the pudge and rolls, you're
cute then, But when you're my agent.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
You got all the pudge and rolls. It's not that cute.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
That you're cute.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
You're very cute.
Speaker 8 (15:25):
Sex what it does to your health, like suddenly you
can't eat a lot of sugary things or salty things,
I think because of cholesterol, and they won't see it
all that kind You have to be awareable that when
you get older, whereas when you're younger you can eat
whatever you want, it's not gonna do what you.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
And like your body digests it differently. Sandra, I don't
know if that happens to you, but for me it does.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Like there are certain things that I just can't eat
anymore because.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
My body won't digest them correctly.
Speaker 8 (15:51):
Oh, that absolutely happens to me. So I miss that.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
If I could eat gluten right now, I miss gluten
so much.
Speaker 8 (15:59):
Enjoy your glue and cookies and cake and all that
kind of stuff. My goodness, I wouldn't be able to move.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
Sadred, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
We appreciate the call as always, Love you.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Michael in Nashville. What's that youth privilege that you miss?
Speaker 8 (16:17):
Oh my gosh, the pain free body, Oh my god,
in the.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
Morning without creaking and cracking and this hurting and that hurting.
Speaker 7 (16:25):
I'm glad you said that because that makes all of
us feel so much better, Like when we get to
one alone. Yeah, every single one of us is like
how my back hurts today, or my knee hurts today,
or Kevin if he went bowling, his butt cheeks hurt
two weeks weeks.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
And I'll watch my kids like the way they like
just jump over a couch and land on their head,
like it hurts me to see what they do.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
And they're fine. They just they're made of rubber. Yeah,
they just bounce back like nothing even happened.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
That's a good one, Michael. And now we all feel
less alone.
Speaker 6 (16:53):
So you appreciate you. Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
You guys aren't the only ones that are tired. It's
an epidemic. We're all tired.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Thank you for calling it, Michael.
Speaker 8 (17:03):
Thank you guys.
Speaker 6 (17:04):
Good bye friend.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
Thank you, Michael, See you, buddy.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
You know, I also just got to mention the perception
of time when you're younger. Sure, he's so different than
when you get older, most differently. Yes, one you could
feel like time flies now yep.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
I mean my nephew is about to turn forward. And
we were on a three hour road trip, and he
thought it was the end of the world. I thought
it was a quick trip. In every single three seconds,
are we there yet?
Speaker 6 (17:30):
Are we there? I'm like, it has not been a month.
Calm down, bro, I felt like it for him.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
What's It from Halloween Edition?
Speaker 2 (17:40):
That's what we're playing for Kevin Manno's Game of the
Day presented by Genesis Diamonds These This is to play
for tickets to see the band Laney.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
So they're gonna be at the Pinnacle on April eighteenth.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
You can go see them. It's gonna be a great show.
But you gotta win this game. Obviously, hopefully you know
anything about Halloween in order to get this right, but
you also don't really need to know anything about Halloween
at the.
Speaker 4 (18:02):
Same time, movies, media in general.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
It's a clip, an audio clip from something. You just
have to identify what it's from. I thought today's might
be a little harder. I just played it for Ricky
and Zach. Ricky knew it immediately.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Well, it's just I'm not even gonna say anything.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Okay, don't could be familiar alone if you if you
know what this is call us six one five, seven,
three seven, nine one oh seven. If you can identify it,
you're gonna go see the band Laney when they are here.
Here we go Today's clue.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
Yeah, that's that's good.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Pod Tree.
Speaker 8 (18:31):
Say Happy Halloween.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Happy Halloween.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
Six one, five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
Again Ricky knew what it was. We're only gonna play
it one time because I feel like it might be
a little easier today. But if you want these lady tickets,
call us tell us What's It?
Speaker 5 (18:45):
From Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Time for Kevin Manno's Game of the Day, we are
playing What's It from Halloween edition for tickets to see
the group the Band Laney. They're at the Pinnacle on
April eighteenth. Say good morning to Courtney and Russellville.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Hi, Courtney, Hi, how are you doing this morning? What
are you up to?
Speaker 9 (19:05):
I just dropped my daughter off at school and I'm
going to pick up a grocery order.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
Okay, all right, what are you? What are you guys
doing for Halloween? What's your daughter gonna address.
Speaker 8 (19:13):
As a fairy?
Speaker 6 (19:15):
Oh? Which is gonna be adorable?
Speaker 4 (19:18):
And what about you? Are you wearing a costume.
Speaker 8 (19:20):
I don't know yet.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
You should be the fairy godmother the same thing, Zach.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
All right, we're gonna play this game. It is a
Halloween themed game. We're playing What's it from? Halloween Edition?
Speaker 1 (19:32):
I'm guessing you heard the audio clue a moment ago,
But here we go one more time.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
Yeah, that's that's good.
Speaker 7 (19:38):
Terrific treat.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
Sat Happy Halloween.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Happy Halloween, Courtney and Russellville, our fairy god mother. Can
you tell us what's it from?
Speaker 8 (19:51):
Is it from Big Daddy?
Speaker 9 (19:52):
Ye?
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Big Daddy?
Speaker 6 (19:56):
Courney, Oh, never forget, you have a question.
Speaker 7 (19:59):
Answ harbondized beautifully when Kevin played us the clue, He
was like, do you think it's appropriate for me to
watch it with my kids?
Speaker 6 (20:06):
Do you think how old are they?
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Nine and seven?
Speaker 6 (20:09):
Nine and seven? Do you think a nine and seven
year old can watch Big Daddy?
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (20:14):
Okay, not too bad, That's what I said.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
There's some innu windos and maybe some language, but they
grown up nine.
Speaker 9 (20:20):
I think they'll understand any of it yet.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
Yeah, Corney, thank you for playing this morning.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
We appreciate you for hanging out with us. Hang on
the line, though, we gotta get your info.
Speaker 6 (20:27):
Okay, okay, that.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Is such a tough thing trying to figure out what
movies because they're at the age nowhere. I want to
show them a bunch of these movies that I loved
when I was younger, but it might not be there yet.
Speaker 6 (20:37):
You don't want to ruin them.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
I feel like my parents didn't care about any of that.
Speaker 6 (20:41):
This makes a lot of sense about you, Ricky.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Three things you need to know eight oh five on
this Tuesday morning. Thank you so much for starting your
day with us. Ricky Sanchez has three things for us.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Stanta's Pub is officially back open.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
It closed after the passing of its owner Denzil Irwin
about on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
It reopened with a celebration of his birthday.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Santa's is staying in the family and will continue its
legacy as one of the best karaoke dive bars in
Nashville that is just so comfy and cozy.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Obviously, everybody is devastated.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
By the loss of Santa but happy to know that
the family is going to keep it going and keep
it alive. That's really amazing to hear. So make sure
you go support Santa's Pub when you get a chance.
University of Louisville has launched a Swift Swift genomics class.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
That is not the easiest thing to say.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
The GUS is going to break down concepts like supply
into demand, opportunity costs through the lens of Taylor's career.
So they're gonna talk about ticket concert pricing, trade offs
of fame and fortune. They're going to get into her
lyrics that may be tied to like economics in a way.
It seems really interesting, honestly, and it keeps things interesting
(21:51):
for kids who want to learn about econ. So the
professor is hoping that this pop powered ECON course becomes
a permanent fixture because it was so power the last.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Time that they did it, and they're doing it again.
I love this idea.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Any way to keep learning interesting, I'm always on board
for and obviously, you know, not even just Taylor Swift,
but the way that pop works in the music industry
is very fascinating and it's a great way to connect
to ECON.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Yeah, I like it.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
What day of the year would you guys say is
the loneliest day for singles?
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Okay? I have two guesses.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Okay, go ahead.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
keV Valentine's Day is the first one that jumps out
of me. And then I would think sometime after New Year's.
Speaker 7 (22:30):
Like, okay, the first week of the year, Zach, I
was thinking, like a major holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas
because they don't have somebody to bring home with their family.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Well, you're both wrong. Oh, it's actually Halloween.
Speaker 6 (22:41):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
A new survey by Dating dot Com found that fifty
nine percent of singles said the Halloween is the toughest
holiday for them out of the entire year. Fifty seven
percent said it was worse than Valentine's Day, and they
said mostly because you know, seeing all the pictures of
everybody in the their couple's costumes and being out at
parties and seeing.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
All the couples together, that's what's really hard for that.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
And then you can't, I guess you can't really like
go search for someone yourself because everyone's got a mask on.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
You don't even see essential mates.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
Ricky's Zach and Meno in the morning on one seven
five the river.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Is there a word that makes your skin crawl? That's
one oh seven five The River. We started talking about
this because Zach. Zach has one, and I think some
of these, You know, if you're gonna call us and
tell us, make sure it's appropriate.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
Zach is definitely appropriate.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
I hate it.
Speaker 6 (23:30):
I hated this word.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
I tell yesterday, Sorry, Zach, I have to say it curdled.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
I said that the standing straight up, I said there
was something that.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Looked curdled, and the way that Zach literally jumped out
of his own skin and got goose bumps. He, like
you said, had no idea that this bothered him so
much until yesterday when I said.
Speaker 7 (23:52):
It yesterday, and I was like, why is every single
hair on my body standing straight up?
Speaker 5 (23:56):
Right?
Speaker 6 (23:58):
They're still like, I have goose bumps all over my body.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
And I don't reaction to that word.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Six one five, seven, three seven nine one o seven Again,
keep it clean. If there is a word that gives
you a similar reaction, something that just makes your skin
crawl like curdled, curdled.
Speaker 6 (24:13):
My cheeks are getting tingly, like I'm gonna throw up.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Can you eat cottage cheese?
Speaker 11 (24:17):
I love cheese six one five, seven, three seven, nine
one o seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and
Mano in the morning.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one
O seven five the River.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Zach found out yesterday.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
I'm sorry, Zach, I'm gonna have to say it again
that this one word really makes.
Speaker 6 (24:37):
His skin is plugging his ears.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
The word is.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Curdled ely and can you tell us the word that
makes your skin crawl?
Speaker 10 (24:45):
Yes, cooking, cooking, Yes, it's a horse. It's not even
a word, though, I was.
Speaker 6 (24:51):
About saying, can you please say it in a sentence?
Speaker 10 (24:54):
Yeah, So I went to the I went to the
store and I took in my fun.
Speaker 6 (25:01):
It's very close.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Is that even proper?
Speaker 10 (25:05):
I'm dead serious. I am dead serious. My husband's sister
says it all the time, and it to I mean, I'm.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
Like, I don't like that.
Speaker 10 (25:17):
It's not like it's not a word.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
It is.
Speaker 6 (25:21):
And I'm like, no, it's not.
Speaker 7 (25:23):
According to my research, it is not considered dramatically direct.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Google.
Speaker 10 (25:30):
I'm like, I don't even know how you It just
doesn't even come out right. I took I took my
son to some I'm like, I don't like it.
Speaker 6 (25:37):
I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
If anything, Emily, I mean, you've gotten clarification from everybody
here that that is a horrible word.
Speaker 10 (25:45):
It is the worst word I've ever heard in my life.
It's like almost the world.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Almost six seven, three seven nine one o seven.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
If you want to join this conversation, let me throw
a few words that you guys. See how you do
it with these? Okay, okay, chunky.
Speaker 6 (26:08):
Like chunky like ny salsa, ointment.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
Ointment, these I found a list of words that bother people.
You're okay with? Ointment?
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Ointment is a normal?
Speaker 6 (26:16):
Yeah, I mind it.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Slurp.
Speaker 6 (26:19):
I don't mind the word, but I hate when people
do slurp.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Well, slurp is kind of one of those words.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
It sounds like the actual thing that you do when
you talk about the word like shap damp nick.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
See, these words are not bothering me? Is you're having
no reaction on? What about this one? Tooken token?
Speaker 6 (26:34):
It is not good.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
It doesn't it bother me that much.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
It's a pretty dumb sounding word. I really don't think.
Speaker 6 (26:39):
It's a word much.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Nothing really bothers.
Speaker 6 (26:42):
Me on your list, slurp, what's the worst.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
We're gonna find something that bothers ricky six one five, seven,
three seven nine one oh seven.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
If there's a word that makes your.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
Skin called ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on
the River, Chelsea.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
And Smyrna, Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
Thank you for holding. What's that one word that makes
your skin crawl?
Speaker 9 (27:01):
Okay, so this is actually a combination of two words together.
Anytime I hear someone say the phrase good grief, I
shall explain it.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
I feel like a.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
Good grief makes you think about me? Is that what
you just said to me?
Speaker 5 (27:20):
Yes, yes for it.
Speaker 6 (27:26):
Do you hate meat loaf?
Speaker 9 (27:28):
I mean it's not the greatest thing I've ever eaten.
Speaker 7 (27:31):
See now that you like compared good grief to meat loaf,
I can never hear the words good grief again because
meat loaf is the most foul thing to ever be
made on the face of this planet.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
Does Does the word grief bother you? Grief standalone? Grief
does that?
Speaker 3 (27:47):
And good is fine.
Speaker 9 (27:48):
Just when people are like, oh, good grief, I'm like
saying that, Schelsea.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
The more you say it, the more I think it's
starting to bother Zac.
Speaker 6 (27:57):
Yeah, it's getting under my skin now, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
I do think it.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Weirdly makes sense. Good grief and meatloafs sound like the
same thing that.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Oh, Chelsea, You've really just wrecked everybody's brains. But we
appreciate you so much. Thanks Samantha and Joseph and Clarksville.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
We were warned.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Samantha said that Joseph her Son has to say the
word because Samantha can't even say the word that makes
her skin crawl.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
So are you guys ready?
Speaker 8 (28:25):
Oh my goodness, I can't, okay say it? Cotton balls?
Speaker 6 (28:40):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (28:41):
I literally every time I say I can't, I can't
do it. And whenever I was in cosmatology school, it
was the worst if I.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Had to touch it, Okay.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
So it's not just the word, it's the actual physical
cotton balls themselves make.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
Your skill crawl.
Speaker 9 (28:54):
I can feel it even being said. I can feel
it in my bones, and I hate it.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Samantha, I will say that I don't hate the word.
The word doesn't bother me, but I don't like pulling
them apart like that. That feeling of pulling them apart
makes me want a.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Ball, pulling the cotton out of like an advill bottle
or someone you first get it, I don't like doing
that either.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
Nope, nope, nope, Samantha.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
Last question, what about that scene in Elf? When he's
eating the cotton balls.
Speaker 10 (29:21):
I don't watch it's.
Speaker 4 (29:23):
A horror movie for her.
Speaker 7 (29:26):
Well, now that we haven't nickname, it's cotton Ball and Joseph,
thank you so much for listening.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Thank you, Samantha.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
We're so sorry. We have a great day.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
I did not expect good grief, slash meat low or
cotton balls.
Speaker 7 (29:44):
Those great immediately, it was immediate.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and Manow in
the morning is.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
A very very special day for our friend Kevin Mano today.

And it means so much to me right now because
we've been watching a lot of Back to the Future
in my house. That's our our family Halloween costume this
year is back to the future. Everything is back to
the So today waking up and seeing that date, it
just it invigorated me.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
This man is smiling ear to ear right now. He's
so excited to talk about it.
Speaker 7 (31:08):
Feel like, I really want to be a good friend
and go watch this movie since you love it so much.
But the last movie that you told me to watch
was Return to Oz and that was Horrender.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
That's a great movie. But just forget about that one.
Please watch Back to the Future. They are classic movies. Okay,
back to the Future one, Back to the Future too.
You don't have to waste your time of the third one.
But you're really gonna enjoy the first two.
Speaker 6 (31:27):
Oh yeah, I bet so.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Don't watch it, Zach, you're gonna hate it.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
No, these are great movies, and today is the day
to do exactly well.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Happy back to the Future day to you, Kevin, Thank
you to all those that celebrate.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
We're thinking about all five
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Other people one O seven, the River, Ricky, Zach and
Manow in the morning.
