Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know here.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
We got to this after six o'clock.
Speaker 3 (00:03):
This brand new day starts right now. Thank you for
joining us. Ricky Sanchez has your three things.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
Matt Duffer has confirmed that our beloved Eddie Munson from
Stranger Things will not return for the last season. Joseph Quinn,
who plays Eddie in the series, has been kind of
like messing around with people, leading them to believe that
he may possibly return to the show somehow, even though
his character was killed off. If you didn't know that
(00:29):
and I just spoiled that for you, this has happened
for so long ago that I don't feel bad for you, Okay,
there is you know, a certain amount of time frame
that I don't have to say anything, and then.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
You don't need to get mad at me anymore.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
The Duffer brothers were in an interview and they confirmed
that he will not be making a comeback somehow, But
they do love the fact that Joseph Quinn is kind
of playing around with people about the possibility the fifth.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
And final season of Stranger Things.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Because to Netflix November twenty sixth, we will see what
they have for Sore for the season. This is actually
a huge deal I feel like it's taken forever to
get to.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
This last season.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Yeah, the kids are now like adults who have babies
and everything, so kind of while that it took this long.
But November twenty six is the next season of Stranger Things.
American Idol is bringing Hollywood Week to Nashville for season
twenty four. You can expect hosts Ryan Seacrest and judges
Luke Bryan, lionl Ritchie and Carrie Underwood to be here
(01:26):
for November ninth for tapings. They're gonna do it at
the belmonts Fisher Center. They also have a taping on Monday,
November nineteenth as well. There's still seats left to go
or November tenth, Sorry not nineteenth, it's a ninth and tenth.
Speaker 5 (01:39):
There are still seats if.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
You want to attend the tenth, you just gotta go
ahead and buy them for yourself. Kind of a cool
experience if you've never experienced it before. Seeing how a
TV show is actually taped out is really fascinating. So
if that interests you, highly recommend go buying yourself some
tickets and checking that out.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
And National Geographic.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Has just released the list for best of the Old
destinations for twenty twenty six.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
The list has twenty five.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Different unique and unforgettable experiences for travelers.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
Winners are all.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Over the world, okay, but there are a bunch in
the US, including Root sixty six in Oklahoma, Maui, Hawaii, and.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
North Dakota's bad Lands.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Number one on the list, though, was a national park
in Wronda, East Africa called Akagera. So that's the number
one on the list. But if you can't get there,
maybe try like North Dakota or Hawaii check those out instead.
I'm Marique Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Thank you so much, Ricky.
Speaker 3 (02:36):

Guys, thank you've been preecticing.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Jessica, What are you doing right now?
Speaker 6 (03:08):
I am just waking up to get ready to go
to work.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Oh then what are you listening on to us on?
Are you listening to us on the app?
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (03:16):
Do every morning?
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Is it like on your phone or do you use
Alexa because we use Alexa in our kitchen to listen.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
But I do have my phone, we have.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
I use it on my phone every morning. It kind
of keeps me on track to get to work on time.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Love that so much.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
This is also just a great moment to say you
can listen to us on the free iHeartRadio app wherever
you are at any point of the day. Be like Jessica,
because that is fantastic. I love that you wake up
and listen to us immediately.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
Yes, it just keeps me on schedule so I get
out of my house. If I'm not out of the
house by the time you're doing your three things, I
am late.
Speaker 7 (03:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
That's good to know. Yeah, and we'll be so happy.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
We'll go ahead and tell you that this morning listening
who has paid off? Because you are the first caller
of the day.
Speaker 8 (04:02):
Yes, Jessica, you're getting covered Dollywood tickets because people have
been calling us since we got in at six am
ready to get these tickets.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
Everybody wants them. You got them, Jessica.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
I had lived in the Tennessee, what was pretty much
my whole life, but for twenty years, and we have
never been in Dollywood.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Oh, Jessica, I have to tell you.
Speaker 9 (04:22):
I went to Dollywood like two weeks ago and they
have like the Harvest Festival and the Smoking Mountain Christmas
set up. It is absolutely beautiful and it's one of
the most clean fun parks that you can go to.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
So you're gonna have a blast.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
Well all my student Ben and my students went during
fall break and they had a blast.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
Good.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
I love it there.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Just remember when you go, the park is open from
nine to five. Wow, Heaven, you might want to check
the hours because that's not true. It's open till like
nine pm.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
From five to nine. Let's say, oh my god.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
It is too early for this.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Kevin, Jessica, congratulations and thank you for being a take
sure preciate our teachers and everybody that works in the
school system so much.
Speaker 10 (05:03):
Well.
Speaker 6 (05:04):
I appreciate you guys. You guys are awesome.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
This has been a great call. We love chatting with you, Jessica.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Great way to start today. We put you on until
we can get all your info. But have fun at Dollywood.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
I will thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
All right, hang on, I'll have more tomorrow. Man, I'm
running out of Dolly socks, did I know?
Speaker 8 (05:22):
Thank God, I never thought it's one seven five the River.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
It's Ricky, Zack and Manno in the Morning, and it's
a very important day for us over here today.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
It's our two year anniversary.
Speaker 9 (05:37):
Happy anniversary, guys.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
Would you call it earlier? Zach?
Speaker 4 (05:41):
A yappiversary, a yap aversary, yiversary. It's kind of wild
to think that it's been two years at this point.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
I did think it was three for a bit there.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
So, uh, you're slightly offended by that, Okay, it feels
like it's been a long time.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Okay, Kevin, you're gonna get yours.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
We're gonna play one song, and then we have decided
that we are going to tell the true, untold story
of Ricky, Zach and Banno in the Morning, the origins
of this radio show.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
I don't think our boss is gonna be very happy
about this. Yeah, but we're gonna do it anyway.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Right after Alex Warren the truth how this all started
two years ago, the feelings that were felt.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Will tell you next one seven the River, Nicky Zach
and in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
Henky anniversary to us. It is two years.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Today that Ricky Zachamanno in the Morning started on one
of seven, five the River.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Hop the Champagne.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
It's kind of wild to think about two years, even
though Kevin said that he feels like it's been a
lot longer.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Here's what messed with my head is that this is
our third Halloween together. So I was trying to do
the math and I was like, well, that's three years,
but no, we just started right before. How calendars were
that's high time time working rude.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
But we decided against what I think our boss would
want us to do.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
We're gonna tell you a little bit of.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
The Ricky Zach and Manno in the Morning lore, how
this all came to be and how we felt about
all of it.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
So we're just gonna rip.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
The band aid right now, all right, keV, Yeah, go
for it. I know Kevin already knows this. Zach and
I did not like Kevin and did.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Not want.
Speaker 9 (07:12):
We did not like him at all.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
And I know this because every time we're out somewhere
and we have a couple drinks, they tell.
Speaker 5 (07:17):
Me, you know, Kevin, we didn't even like you to
start with.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
And it's got nothing to do with Kevin whatsoever as
a person. The way that things work in radio is
very weird and strange, and there's a lot of back end.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Stuff that happens.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
So like Zach and I had the show for I
don't know, eight months.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
Yeah, and then they went, we're gonna add.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Another person and you're gonna have no saying any of it.
And then they just brought Kevin in, and we were like,
what the heck is going on?
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Because you guys did have suggestions, you had people in mind.
You're like, okay, what about this person, what about this person?
They're like nope, this guy.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
They just kept going nope.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
No middle aged. So I totally get that.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
I completely got it, And on my side of things,
I would go home after work every day and say
to my wife, I don't think they liked me very much.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Kevin.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
See, like, we probably weren't great at the start, but honestly,
I can say truly, wholeheartedly with every piece of my
being that the show just makes sense with Kevin, and
we love Kevin.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Very lucky to get you.
Speaker 10 (08:22):
keV.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
I feel the same way, and I knew that eventually
we would get there, and genuinely we love each other,
we all do. We're at we've become best friends here
doing this.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
And I'm a little emotional thinking about it. Two years.
What a two years it's been. Cry, cry, cry. This
is what he used to chance to be back two
years ago, shoving me in a locker.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
But yeah, it's kind of funny to think about how
things work.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Sometimes you know, what you don't expect to happen happens,
and it seems like it's the worst possible thing at
the time, and it turns out to be such.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
A beautiful thing in the end, beautiful thing.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
This is way worse than I am. I totally so
thank you to you.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Guys, Ricky and Zach for making this what it's becoming,
to everybody that's listening, for all of your support over
the last two years, because the show has grown so
much and we get so many nice calls every single
day from the people out there.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
We are nothing without you listening, and we truly wholeheardly
mean that we genuinely feel like we have the best
people that support us.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
So thank you, guys.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Here's two more years. He yeah, saying goodbyes.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Just past seven o'clock on this Thursday morning, let's go
starting a brand new day.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Thank you for starting with us. Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
The NFL has confirmed that they are not looking to
change their halftime performance, despite some people being upset about
their choice in Bad Bunny. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said
in a press conference this week that a lot of
time is taken to choose like who they're going to
use as the halftime performer, and that they have carefully
selected Bad Bunny to do it. If you also mentioned
(09:59):
the fact that they have yet to pick an artist
for the halftime show that hasn't received some level of backlash.
Since there are just so many people that watch the game,
you can't make everybody happy, and he's okay with that.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
He does not care.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
They will not be reconsidering their choice. He did say
that there is a chance that Benito may bring out some.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
Special guests on stage with him, but.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
One Bad Bunny will be performing, Thank God, because I
am so excited about it.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
I cannot wait for that halftime performance.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
Quick update for you on the Downtown Main Library after
they closed from that fire that they experienced in the
parking lot back in June, there are additional repairs that
need to happen before they can open back up. Officials
said that they can't proceed until architectural plans are finalized
and approved, and then once those plans are approved, there
(10:50):
are still forty days more of work that remain. There
was a lot of damage, a lot more damage than
I think we initially thought that happened to the library
and the parking lot. There's also a lot that has
to go through the fire department and they need to
make sure that all the safety hazards.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Are situated and everything like that.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
So there's no date set for when the library will reopen,
but I'll keep you updated anything that comes through that
we find out about the repairs and when they're going
to open, I will tell you what to expect. And
Chipotle is doing their Boo Rito promo for Halloween again
this year. So this Halloween, the celebration gives Chipotle Reward members.
Speaker 5 (11:29):
They get a deal on food items this year.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
If you come dressed up in your costumes on October
thirty first, and you are a Rewards member, you will
get an entree deal for six dollars. So typically those
entrees are eleven dollars fifteen dollars, so you're getting a
nice deal. This is up from last year's entree promotion
that was four dollars. But I mean a deal is
a deal, so I think we're all just going to
(11:53):
take what we can get. At this point, I'm Ricky
Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Thank you so much, Ricky.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
We're going to play Miles Smith here and right after
this song we're learning together.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
It's time for Zack's FACTX. Next on one O seven
five The.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Rivers, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
On one Zach's Ready, We're ready.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
You better be ready. It's Zaxvax on one O seven
five The River.
Speaker 9 (12:15):
Do you guys know the main difference between apes and monkeys?
Speaker 2 (12:18):
No, eights do not have tails and monkeys too. That
sounds like something we should all know, but I never
knew them.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
I don't think I ever noticed.
Speaker 9 (12:28):
Well, there's your fact of the day. Now you're gonna
notice every time you see one.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
That's an eight. That's a monkey eight time.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
No tails, that's actually really interesting. Thanks Zach.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning. One you have a.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Friend or colleague who you didn't like it first, but
eventually they grew on you and now you love them.
It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning on one
O seven five the River. In case you missed it,
we gave a little bit of Ricky, Zach and Mano
lore before around six fifty. Today is our anniversary. Two
years we made it, but we uh let everybody know
(13:04):
that at first we didn't love Kevin.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
This is true. It's all very true. Yeah, they were
they kind of. I was sort of put together with Ricky.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
And think they were already here doing this and then
like management was like, here have this guy, and they
were like, no, we don't want him, we.
Speaker 9 (13:16):
Don't like them.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
So it's been two years, but I wore him down.
It was a slow burn.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Now we're best friends and we would know if you
have a similar story. Six one, five, seven, three seven,
nine one oh seven. Did it take you a while
to come around to somebody, a coworker, a friend like
Ricky said, if you have one of those stories, we'd
love to hear it.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Make me feel better, please, Ricky, Zach and Mano in
the Morning.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
On today if you missed it, today is the two
year anniversary of this radio show, Ricky, Zach and Manno
in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Two years.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Happy anniversary, Happy yeah aniversary as we're calling it.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah, Angela and Nashville, good morning.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
How are you good? We're excited. It's our anniversary. We
told the story a second ago. How Ricky and Zach.
At first it didn't love me.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
We were all put together to work together. But now
we are all in love with each other. We're best
friends over here. So now, has anybody ever worn you
down like that?
Speaker 10 (14:10):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (14:10):
My gosh.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (14:11):
So back when I was in college, there was a
girl that walked into my classroom and we were in
registration and she was like from upstate New York and
was the snottiest, most uppity, like dressed.
Speaker 7 (14:30):
To the nines.
Speaker 11 (14:31):
And I am there in my ripped up teams, my
car hearts, my hoodie, my work booths, you know, from
the farm.
Speaker 7 (14:40):
And she and I hated each other and ended.
Speaker 11 (14:44):
Up having to work together. We were lab partners, and
then we became inseparable, and we would go out looking everywhere,
looking like two completely different people. And we were best friends.
And she was the sweetest thing in the world.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
The show.
Speaker 7 (15:01):
If you're listening, I love you.
Speaker 11 (15:02):
And she and I have moved to part now, but
we still keep in touch. And I just left her
so much.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
And you just never.
Speaker 11 (15:10):
Would have put us together, and and you just never know,
and just don't pay people with face value.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
That is beautiful, Angela.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
I love that, well said opposite to trash.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Yes they do. Thank you guys so much. Y'all have
a great day.
Speaker 7 (15:26):
Love ye bye bye.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
That's a sweet story.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
I think, honestly, at this point in my life, it's
almost kind of a requirement that I hate you at
first for you to then become my best friend, because half,
if not more, of the people that I consider best
friends I hated at.
Speaker 9 (15:42):
First, hate me at the beginning, I did.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
You're in the other half? Wow, Yes, yeah, you're special
that way.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Zach Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
In Nashville. Good morning, Welcome to the River.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
We're talking about the genesis of this radio show. To
begin of our friendship. At first, Ricky and Zack did
not like me, but here we are two years later
and we're we're best friends. So Terray, do you have
a story similar?
Speaker 10 (16:08):
Yeah, So I have a friend. We started working at
Starbucks and she was my shift supervisor. And I walked
up Starbucks before, so I already like, I was a
shift supervisor before. And she like came in and she's like,
I got you, like I'll teach you everything, and I'm
like I already know everything, and she's like no, no, no, no, no,
(16:28):
I got you. I got you. And I was like okay.
And then one day, me and another coworker got to
talk and she kind of like came in and we
were adding her to the conversation and then we ended
up like talking for the rest of the shift. I
ended up realizing that we were way more similar than
I thought we were, and we're still friends. She just
had her baby, so I got to experience all that. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (16:52):
Ere, she came in guns up blazing, right right.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Yeah, You're like you're coming too hot.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Yeah, yeah, that's understandable. And then once you gave just
you know, a second to actually get to know her,
it all changed.
Speaker 10 (17:08):
Yeah, they're actually in the military and they're moving to Germany.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
So wow, that's.
Speaker 9 (17:15):
Really sad that she's moving to right, But this just
means that you have a free place to stay in Germany.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
I love that you guys are still friends even though
you don't work together anymore, and you've seen each other
through like different phases of life. Because you just said
she had a baby and now they're moving. I think
it's beautiful. It's so nice to hear that like other
people also go through these experiences.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
These are shared experiences for all of us.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Oh yeah, absolutely, all right, thank you for colling. Have
a great day, and we appreciate you. I love all right,
see you.
Speaker 9 (17:47):
You know what I think is really interesting is the
fact that we have blasted the fact that we didn't
like Kevin, but he has never once said what he
thought of us.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
Oh yeah, Kevin, what did you think of us?
Speaker 2 (17:57):
We are playing the game of the day, lady tick.
It's a couple of minutes here on the river, so.
Speaker 5 (18:02):
The feeling was mutual.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
That was justin.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
Bieber with Daisy's on one oh seven five the river.
I hope you are prepared and you are ready, because
we are about to play Kevin Manno's Game of the Day,
presented by Genesis Diamonds.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
It's called What's It from Halloween Edition.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
That is the game we're playing this week. You're playing
for tickets to see the band Laney. They're going to
be at the Pinnacle in April. And the clues, it's
audio clues this week. It's something taken from a different
movie or TV's or a song.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Whatever about Halloween. Their Halloween related clues. And the one
I was gonna play today.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Originally it was like five seconds long, and we were
talking about it and thinking this might be too easy,
so we chopped it down to one single second.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
So you got one second. You gotta listen very carefully.
I think it's still pretty well known what this is.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
I do too.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
It's simply the word Halloween. Here we go your one
second clue today. Oh sorry, here here it is. Oh no,
it's not playing here.
Speaker 1 (19:03):

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Okay, we don't give us your guess. Yeah, We're gona

If you can identify, you're going to see Laney.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Here's the clue Halloween. That's it, kind of recognize. If
you know it, you know it, and we're hoping Matt
knows it.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
What is it? Buddy? What's it from?
Speaker 5 (19:57):
It's It's u something, isn't it? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Do you have a can you name the song? I
didn't say that was a prerequisite.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
I'm just curious. Song, classic song.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Nice job, Matt, Congratulations you are getting tickets to see
the band. Lady at the Pinnacle next year on April eighteenth.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Hang on, okay, buddy, all right, we were gonna play
a longer and this is the original clue and we'll
have Halloween on.
Speaker 5 (20:26):
It's pretty classic though. You know the song you Know
Where are You?
Speaker 9 (20:30):
That was good kid, the best impersonation you've ever done that.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
Let's get more tickets tomorrow. You got them started.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
We're so excited.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
We'll do the hot du oh dear God.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Three things you need.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Let's go just after eight o'clock on this Thursday morning.
Very happy, it's Thursday. Thank you for being here. Ricky
Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
Rihanna's fenty beauty line is for sale. She owns half
of fenty Beauty and the other half is owned by
a French luxury luxury goods group LVHM. She's not selling
her steak, don't worry, She's not selling her steak infenty,
but LVHM is, and many predict that they may hit
more than a billion dollars for the sale, especially after
(21:19):
Haley Bieber just sold her three year old company Road,
which is also a beauty company, for a billion dollars.
They think that fenty can go, even though it's only
half for more than a billion dollars. Pretty wild to
think about, but it's currently for sale by them. We
will see who decides to buy it out. Maybe Rihanna
ends up owning the entirety of it at some point.
Speaker 5 (21:39):
Who knows.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
We'll see Paris spaghett is going to expand to Franklin.
The bakery and cafe is going to open on Mickey
in North Side's newly completed Block E, but.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
We don't know when that's gonna happen. I will keep
you updated and in the loop when you can expect that.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
But obviously lots of things are still going on over there.
And survey shows that a third of people think they
can beat a horror movie villain. They genuinely think that
their innate survival skills could beat the horror villain. Fourteen
percent think that they could outsmart the villain with a
strategy of logic and reason that is word for word,
(22:18):
and thirteen percent say that they would just run and
never look back, and that would be how.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
They defeat the villain. We're gonna talk about.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
This a bit more in about twenty minutes, because I'm
convinced that I could beat Michael Myers and I want
to hear if anyone else thinks that they could beat
a horror villain.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
I love this.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
I love this idea because I'm with you for sure.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
The man's walks too slow. There's no way.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
How does he constantly keep living too None of it
makes sense.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
If you ever worn a mask that you can't see anything,
you can't breathe, You can't breathe, you can't turn your
head yet.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah, we could beat him one hundred.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Per Yeah, easy, but we want to see, we want
to see what who you think you could be?
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Into it?
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Full conversation in about twenty minutes, Ricky, Zach and Minnow
and good Morning.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
Got to get.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Into this because I found the stat that says a
third of people think that they can beat a horror
movie villain.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
And I'm one of those people.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, okay, I'm with you.
Speaker 5 (23:12):
I'm convinced I could beat Michael Myers.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
What makes you so confident?
Speaker 4 (23:16):
The man walks way too slow? Kevin even actually added
to this. He's wearing a mask. You can't see anything
in the mask, and he can't breathe under there, Like,
there's just no way.
Speaker 5 (23:26):
I don't understand how he keeps coming out on top.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
I mean, the indestractible nature of this man is the
only thing that.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
Gives me pause, right, Like why is he still alive?
Is the question?
Speaker 4 (23:35):
Right?
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Like?
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Human? He's evil in.
Speaker 5 (23:37):
There right right? But I think I could beat him.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
I love the confidence that you have right now, Kevin.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
I know you think that you could be I know
that we could get him.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
In a position like we could pin him down and
put a bunch of heavy stuff on top, like we could.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
We could, we.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Could stop him, you know, and then make our getaway.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
So was your vote also for Michael Myers?
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Do you think you can beat him?
Speaker 10 (23:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Yeah, I think so. I think Chucky as well.
Speaker 5 (24:00):
Okay, yeah, Chucky. He's just a little doll.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
I could definitely beat Chucky. I would punt that thing
so quick. That's all you gotta do.
Speaker 9 (24:08):
Sorry, it's just the.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
Idea of like envisioning Zach with his broken hip, like
punting this dolly winding up to punt it.
Speaker 9 (24:17):
If I had to to save my own life, I
would punt that thing or drop kick at one of
the two.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Can you name some others. We'll tell you if we
can beat him or not.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
I got a list here.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
The scariest horror movie villains of all time. All Right,
Freddy Krueger is number one nightmare I.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Gotta do is wake up. I would simply wake.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Up, but you always have to go back to sleep.
There's no way anybody could beat Freddy Krueger. I'm actually,
to this day still afraid of that, are you. Oh yeah,
I don't like Freddy Krueger at all. Hannibal Lecter, I
feel like we could beat Hannibal Elector.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
I don't know, man, No he would.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
He's smart. He's a smart It's hard to outsmart somebody
like Hannibal Lecter.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
I feel like we could do it.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
I don't feel confident in that one.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Okay, what about Petty Wise, No, he's not a real
he's he gets in your brain. Okay, so he's out.
Michael Myers is on the list. We already said we
could beat him. Chucky, we already said we could beat Chucky. Jigsaw,
there's no way.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
I do like games.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
If you you do love games, maybe Kevin would be
our only hope of actually defeating Jigsaw.
Speaker 9 (25:17):
Yeah, you would be, because I would be on the
other side of the planet if I saw that.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
There are a bunch more on this list. But if
you have a.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Horror movie villain that you think you could defeat, we
want to hear from you.
Speaker 5 (25:32):
Six on five seven through seven, nine, one oh seven.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
One o seven five of the River Ricky zach and
manow In The Morgan five the.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
River, Jamie in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Who do you think what horror villain do you think
you could beat?
Speaker 1 (25:46):
So?
Speaker 7 (25:46):
I was thinking like wrong turn hills have eyes type
definitely down hold on, Let's.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I don't really know who that is.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
I know the hills have eyes and there's like he's
like mountain people that are a little crazy.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Is that what you're talking about?
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (26:00):
Like what there's like four wrong turns, so they're like,
you know, similar people, crazy people in the heels and
all that kind of creepy stuff.
Speaker 9 (26:07):
Okay, Jamie, what it's going to be your technique to
beat them?
Speaker 7 (26:10):
I'm far too paranoid, so I watch and listen to everything.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
So you think that you just have this heightened sense,
you would know where everything is and you'd be able
to just like immediately attack once you know thousand.
Speaker 7 (26:22):
You still like you still something is off the intuition.
Speaker 9 (26:25):
Yeah, I think there's no iffness whatsoever he's gonna win.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
I love this.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
Can I ask you, guys some other question now that
we're talking about this, I want to throw some other
movie characters at you, and you tell me if you
think you could defeat them. Okay, let's go Okay, Missus Doutfire.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
Okay, let's Missus Deltfire.
Speaker 7 (26:43):
Saying away from that one.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
I don't think I could beat Missus Doubtfire.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
I don't think i'd want to. Why do I want
to defeat Missus Doultfire, Forest Gump? Why would I want
to do that?
Speaker 7 (26:55):
What is the point of all that's horrible?
Speaker 5 (27:00):
Edwards is one of my favorite movies.
Speaker 7 (27:04):
I love him.
Speaker 6 (27:06):
I love him.
Speaker 5 (27:07):
Jamie and I are going to befriend him and keep
him safe from you. Kevin, Ricky, do you think you
could defeat Kevin easily?
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Question? No question.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Kevin knows that, Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
Morning, if you really need to hear our daily double
tap on one of seven five of the River that
we're going to play for you today, because it's just it's.
Speaker 5 (27:30):
All of us at some point today.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Zach and I we went to the Mumford and Sons
concert last night, so we got real late.
Speaker 9 (27:38):
What was so good though, it was totally worth it,
but we're both so tired.
Speaker 5 (27:42):
We're exhausted.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
I will say, as you know, a third party here.
The first couple of hours, you guys are great, and
then you just hit a wall. Yeah yeah, really, it
really did. But we're exhausted.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Today's Daily double Tap inspired by that exact thing.
Speaker 6 (27:54):
Dude, I'm so tired. I would give anything to get
eight hours of sleep.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
What about going to bed eight hours before you have
to wake up? No, I'm not doing that.
Speaker 9 (28:04):
What a novel concept, Because even when.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
We don't go to concerts, even when that's not even
a thing, we still don't really get eight hours to sleep.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
No.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
Never, we all know that's the formula forgetting you sleep,
and we just.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Don't get it. Nighttime US is a very different person
than morning US.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
You know, I hate nighttime, Rickie, nighttime, done it together.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Nighttime, Ricky, pull it together Ricky.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
Right now with hate nighttime Ricky all the time.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
River
