Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need halfway through the week. Happy Wednesday, everybody,
thank you for starting to day with us. Ricky Sanchez
has those three things.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
The results of the special election yesterday are in GOP
backed Matt Van Epps one of the Republican votes, while
the Democrats voted for Afton Vaine. I'm impressed with how
quickly all those results came in last night.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
So that is done and.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Those are your results from yesterday. Headliners have been announced
for the Jack Daniels New Year's Eve Live Nationals Big
Bash that such.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
A long title.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Lady Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, and Jason al Dean will headline
this year at the celebration held at Bicentennial Capital Mall
State Park. Gospel music legend CC Winens is also going
to be performing with the Fisk Jubilee Singers, which is
very cool.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
This is a free event if you want to go.
VIP tickets are currently on.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Sale at Thesic Visit Music City dot com website.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
But totally free event.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
It's gonna be pas with people, but it's free. So
if you're looking for something to do, this is one
of them for New Year's Eve this year, and there's
a new dating trend.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
It's called zip coding.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
So zip coding is when people are limiting their prospects
to people who live in the same zip code or
at least like super close to them. This is all
about convenience, right, So some are using dating app filters
to exclude anyone outside of their immediate area.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
And like I said, all about.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Convenience could work out very well. Also could be your demise.
I want to remind you if you're doing things like
this that that could ruin like your favorite grocery store,
or your favorite bar, or your favorite park because you
start dating somebody who goes to all the same ones,
and then you can't go to any of them anymore.
This is not the greatest idea, so keep that in
mind if you are zip coding.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
I understand convenience.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
I had a friend who recently just had like a
situationship inside of her building that she lives in.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
It's it's not the best idea. Just leave it at that.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
That's a mess.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
I'm Rich Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Good point, Ricky, Thank you very much. Let's get back
into the music.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
But don't forget We've got your lave tickets Lave at
Bridgestone next week.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
We've got them all week for the first caller of
the day. They are yours within ten minutes.
Speaker 1 (02:16):

Speaker 4 (02:29):
How you doing?
Speaker 5 (02:30):
I'm fun?
Speaker 4 (02:30):
How are you no complaints?
Speaker 6 (02:32):
You know I don't like it when you say fine,
what's going on, Chrissy?
Speaker 5 (02:36):
Well, I have three more days that I have to
teach before I get fall bright.
Speaker 7 (02:40):
That's fair.
Speaker 6 (02:41):
So you're counting them down, Sis, I'm counting them down.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
What are you doing with? What are you doing your
time off?
Speaker 3 (02:47):
I'm going to do it home with my grandkids sweets.
That's gonna be nice.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Do you feel like after you take the week though,
that like you need another week from that original week?
Because whenever I go on quote unquote vacation and I
fill it up with a bunch of things, I feel
like I need a vacation for my vacation.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Well, when you keep the grand kid you made it
late twenty four to forty eight hours to recuperate.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Yeah, that makes total sense. Yeah, I want to take
like a year long sabbatical.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
A sabbatical, Like you're a professor.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Do you have to be a profession to take a sabbatical.
I think anybody could take a sabbatical.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Sure, Kevin, we're going to go with that.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Well, Chrissy, we hope that you have an amazing week
next week, and you know, even with the grand kids,
you know, we hope you get that time to really
relax as well, because that'll be nice.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
To spend time with family, but also you need to relax.
Speaker 8 (03:34):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
I'm also very excited to tell you that you're the
first caller of the day on one of seventy five
of the River, so you're getting.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
These lay Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah, I don't know if you know much about leave,
but it's really going to be a cool show.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
It's at Bridgestone.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
She's kind of jazzy, and it's next Monday night, so
you'll be on break.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
You get to stay out late, really tear it up.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
That'd be awesome.
Speaker 9 (03:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
I'll probably be the lightest.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
That sight out in here way.
Speaker 8 (04:04):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
I really appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
We have more tomorrow, two more days to win these
Tomorrow and Friday, same time, six fifteen for the first college.
Speaker 8 (04:13):
Who is the one oh seven five the River Secret Sabrina.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
That's what we're trying to figure out.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
And I am hoping that we find out today who
the secret Sabrina is.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
I am just going nuts trying to figure this out,
and it's really frustrating. So if somebody can find out
who the one of seven five the Reversity gat Sabrina is,
that'd be great. We've gotten a bunch of clues in
the last week and a half. Now at this point,
oh my god, it's been a week and a half,
it feels like seven months. So the last week and
a half we've gotten a bunch of different clues that
have kind of, you know, pushed us into a lot
(04:47):
of different directions. Zach originally thought like, maybe it was
Nash on the Preds. Then he thought maybe it was
a Preds player. Then he thought, who is the other person?
A cheerleader?
Speaker 7 (04:56):
Cheerleader?
Speaker 6 (04:57):
But okay, so here's the other thing is they gave
a clue yesterday two fifty and I think this helps
narrow it down. It says like, here's some of the
jobs that Sabrina Carpenter is not and not on the
news because I was thinking maybe it was a news
anchor because some of the clues were like to be
in front of the.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Camera, I talk a lot, so not a news anchor.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
We learned that yesterday.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Okay, okay, So we're slowly narrowing down who this could
possibly be.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
So we got another clue for you.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Here we go. This is from the Secret Sabrina.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Let's go espresso's song and also a culp?
Speaker 8 (05:27):
Could are you be where you pick one up?
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Espresso is a song and also a cup, so like
a coffee shop.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
I mean, my mind obviously goes to coffee shop.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Secret Sabrina says espresso and not espresso.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Oh, let me hear that again. Let's hear that.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
That's what it sounds like, espressos song.
Speaker 9 (05:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Maybe there it sounded more like it's hard to tell
what the voice change. I know the first time I
listened to I was like, oh, xpresso that might be
a dead giveaway.
Speaker 8 (05:52):
I know.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
That's why I wanted to play it again, because you
got to listen to those little micro clues too.
Speaker 7 (05:56):
You never know, sounds like a coffee shop.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
So if you go into a coffee shop this morning,
ask everyone around you, hey, are you the one of
seven five the River Secret Sabrina?
Speaker 7 (06:06):
Because you might find them there. That's what it sounds
like to me.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, but maybe not too early in the morning, because
we found out that they're not a morning.
Speaker 7 (06:12):
Personal or a night owl.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
They're a night owl.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Also, their job seems like not a typical job, so
a very unique kind of job.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Maybe they work out of a coffee shop.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
Oh okay, yeah, because they said they don't work in
an office.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Right, so they could work out of a coffee shop.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
So maybe maybe you know, wait until nine ish tennish
and then start asking everybody at every single coffee shop.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Well, let me ask you this, guys. I don't know
that I'm not as clear on the rules as you
might be. Can they stand up on a table or
something in a coffee shop and just say, now, is
anybody here the one O seven five the River's Secret Sabrina.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
They can't do that.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
The powers that be said that they have to walk
up to the person in person. Some people have been
asking can I DM them to see if they are.
You got to walk up to the person and say,
are you the one O seven five the River Secrets?
That full sentence. Otherwise it doesn't actually count. If you
just say, are you Secret Sabrina doesn't count. It's got
to be are you the one of seven five the
(07:07):
River Secret Sabrina?
Speaker 1 (07:09):
All right? Well with this new clue, Yeah, I think
that the path you want to follow here is a
coffee shop. If you're stopping by one today, ask everybody
face to face if they are the one of seven
five the River Secret Supremese.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Someone find them today.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Hopefully today is.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
The day we do have another clue. If we need
another clue, we have another clue coming at nine fifty
this morning. Be here for that three things you need
to know just past seven o'clock.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
On this Wednesday morning. Let's make it a great day, friends.
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Flights across the country have been impacted by the government
shut down last week.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
We let you know that.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
The government was shutting down, and this is something that
has happened before. We're kind of hoping that they figure
it out sooner rather than later, because situations like this
happen the FAA saw staffing shortages yesterday because air traffic
controllers are overstretched and they continue to work with no
pay right now, so just keep that in mind. Took
about seven days for there to be issues at the
(08:03):
airports across the country, from Chicago to Philadelphia.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Even here in Nashville.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
BNA had to put out a notice yesterday to travelers
to let them know that there would be delays and
possible cancelations for flights after two thirty pm yesterday. The
FAA says that it slows traffic into some airports to
ensure safe operations. Obviously, when there are increased staffing shortages,
this is the only way that they can do it.
So if you are flying anytime soon, make sure you
(08:31):
are staying updated with all of your information. Because there
were thirty five hundred flights that were delayed yesterday, more
than two hundred of them came from Nashville, so be
up to date on everything that has to do with
your flight. Post Malone is doing a pop up show
tonight in Nashville to celebrate the grand opening of his bar.
So technically Posts bar has been opened since July, but
(08:52):
the grand opening and celebrations started this week.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
They have his wax figure down there from Madame Tusso's.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
They have exclusive merch Tonight, they're shutting down Broadway for
post Wone to perform, which is really cool. Posty's is
going to be closed during the day today to prepare
for the grand opening event. The venue is going to
reopen to the public after the performance, which will start
at eight pm, so.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
The performance completely free.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Go watch Posty downtown if you have the time tonight
and you're just you know, huge fan or been dying
to see Posty, now is your time to do it,
because this is a just very Nashville thing that you
wouldn't really get to experience anywhere else, So and.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Go hang out.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Really confirming the US.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
But we've heard a lot of rumors about other people
showing up down there, so we'll see what happens.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
I know nothing about any of that.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
I know post Malone's going to be there, We've heard
That's what matters.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
So if you want to go see Posty, starts at.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Eight pm tonight on Broadway, and the next Door treat
map is back, so this will help you plan your
trigger treat routes. So from now till October thirty, first
neighbors can drop pins to show whether they're handing out
candy or if they're showing off like elaborate decorations. They'll
add photos of what things look like notes on what
they have. This interactive map is supposed to help you
(10:04):
kind of like, you know, find the best route to
take for your trigger treating and make sure that you're.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Hitting all of the hotspots for Halloween.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
So you can go to.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Nextdoor dot com slash treat map in order to join
in on all that fun.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
I'm Rickie Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Thank you so much, Ricky. This is Alex Warren. Right
after the song we are learning, it's time for Zach's Facts.
We're getting a good one today in three minutes on
the river.
Speaker 9 (10:27):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
You're ready because there's a Zach's Fact coming right at you.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
It's one of seven five of the river.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
You guys.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
Before Gerald Ford became the thirty eighth President of the
United States, did you know that he was a model
that appeared on the cover of Cosmo magazine? Not what
in nineteen forty two, he was on the cover of
Cosmo magazine. He modeled part time to earn money for
law school, So then he went to law school and
then became president at the thirtieth president in nineteen seventy four.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Wow, I just google Gerald Ford and I'm seeing him
in a whole new light.
Speaker 7 (11:02):
I know.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Hope also even crazier because Cosmopolitan magazine first came out
in eighteen eighty six. That's why General Interest Family magazine.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
So we had a model for Resident Honey.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
And there's your fact of the day.
Speaker 9 (11:17):
Thanks Zach for Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
On eighty four percent of respondents agree that scary movies
are a staple of the Halloween season, So we want
some recommendations right now on one oh seven five the River,
I need some spooky movies to watch.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Sure, Yeah, Ricky and I were chatting about this, and
I feel like everything I've seen from the last few years, like,
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know if
it's worth a recommendation.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
I feel like they're not making great ones anymore. But
I could just be wrong about that. I could be
missing them.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
See I watch the same ones every year, and even
though I'm going to still watch them.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
I want some new ones, like what am I missing?
Speaker 2 (11:53):
What is a good spooky movie that I should watch?
And considering that this survey the majority of people said
that this is the staple of I figured there's got
to be people who have recommendations, right.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Absolutely, six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
Ricky's looking for new spooky movies to watch this month.
Let us know what your recommendations would.
Speaker 9 (12:12):
Be, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
It's that time of year.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Friends, It's one of seven, five the river, the pumpkins
are out.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
It's spooky season.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Ricky's looking for some new recommendations scary movies to watch
at home.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
We have Clay in Nashville on the line. Clay, what
do you say to Ricky? Uh, I guess slender Man.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Slender Man, slender Man, Oh, slender Man.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
Say it's super spooky.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
I have not seen it, but I know what slender
Man is because I remember this being a big deal
when I was younger, that everybody was afraid of slender Man.
Speaker 8 (12:46):
It's the thing, I will say.
Speaker 6 (12:47):
I just looked it up and it looks absolutely horrifying
just from the images.
Speaker 7 (12:51):
I'm gonna watch it.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
I don't mean to like be the wet blanket here
or anything, but Ricky, does it affect you at all
that it has an eight percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
No, I think I'm gonna anyways.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
It doesn't need to have a good Rotten Tomatoes, you
know rating, but it needs to be recommended by somebody else.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
And Clay and Mom, Mom, what's your name?
Speaker 9 (13:10):
Candy?
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Okay, Clay and Candy say slender Man. So I'm gonna
watch slender Man.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
All right, Thank you, guys.
Speaker 9 (13:16):
You'll be scared.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Have a good day.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Bye, guys.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
It's only that is one one percent lower than Zach's
favorite movie, norbit.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Amy and Lafaye. Tell us what movie you think we
should watch? Well, specifically me, because I'm the one looking
for spooky movies.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I literally just had this conversation with my stusband last
night about having our kids watch it.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Darkness False. It's the horror version of the Toothbaerry.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Oh okay, if you see her.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
If you see her, she will kill you, but she
cannot go into the light.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
When I first saw this, when I was about ten,
I literally slept with every.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Light on in the house that sounds very scary for
a kid, it was awesome.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Amy, You're like me.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I used to always watch the scary movies. We had
this whole thing with our dad of like, you can't
scare us, No movie can scare us, even though we
would be terrified every time.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
We'd watch a horror movie every time.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
And then you watch like Garfield afterwards, yourself feel better? Yes,
good thoughts to go to bed.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Thank you for calling. We appreciate your input.
Speaker 9 (14:25):
Good thing you too.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
I don't mean to be that guy, but Darkness Falls
has a ten percent on Rotten Tomato.
Speaker 7 (14:30):
Yeah, neither of them look really good on Rotten Tomatoes.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
That's okay. Sometimes we're on tomatoes. Gets it wrong.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
I mean, like we talked about Zach's favorite movie. Norbit
has like an eight percent rating, has.
Speaker 6 (14:40):
A nine percent get it correct, So sorry, I'm ninety
nine percent because they got it so wrong.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Ricky, I want to dial this in on like your
personal preferences though, Like do you do like the conjuring
and stuff like that?
Speaker 3 (14:53):
Oh no, no, no, no no.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
You girl very much knows that spirits are real, and
I do not watch anything that has to do with
spirits because I don't mess with that.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
You're more of like a slasher film for like you
like the screen movies and Halloween and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Yeah, gory, not necessarily gory, but like slasher films. Totally
into that. I'm also into like anything that's super like
mysterious but also has some like horror into it too,
like a mystery but it ends up like a horror film.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Okay, kind of vibe.
Speaker 6 (15:22):
Well, don't come to my house because my boyfriend does
not allow any scary movies on the TV because he
is one hundred percent convinced that.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
It leaves bad juju in the house.
Speaker 7 (15:30):
And he's like, no, I don't want that in my house.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
I get it to an extent because I don't watch anything.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
That has to do with like spirits or you know,
any kind of Yeah, possession.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
Sure, we have more time.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
If you have more recommendations, we'll take them six one five, seven,
three seven nine one oh seven plus your Jonas Brothers
tickets are on the way, Ricky, what's behind behind?
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I cannot.
Speaker 9 (15:53):
The river?
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning Data in Nashville.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Welcome to one O seven five the River, and thank
you for holding on.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Yeah, of course you have a recommendation for me of
a spooky movie I should watch.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Yes, Okay, So I love horror movies and most of
them don't scare me. But there's this one movie called
The Ritual and it's about four frands I go to Norway,
and I will say it starts super slow, so you've
got to hang it in there, but the last fifteen
minutes is too scary.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Looks like it's on Netflix, and this one is actually
highly rated. So wow, that's a good suggestion.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
I love scaring movies. I am rarely very like. Most
don't scare me, but that one keep me on.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
I'm gonna watch it, and I appreciate you letting me
know too that it's a slow build, because if it's
a slow building, nobody tells me that I'm gonna probably
shut it off.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
So thank you Jada for that little tipping.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
Of course, enjoy it, Thank you, love, have a great day.
Speaker 9 (16:48):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Fight And it says horror mystery, Ricky, which and that's
what I was just talking about, Ashley and Westmoreland.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
What spooky spooky horror film should I watch?
Speaker 4 (16:58):
No, I've not seen it, but it just came out.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
It's called good Boy the Dog. Wow it dog, Yes,
and I actually just go with it before I called in.
Speaker 9 (17:11):
I think ninety one.
Speaker 7 (17:13):
It does have a ninety one on Rotten Tomatoes. That's
the highest one yet.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:17):
Okay, yeah, it's a pretty short film. It's not only
an hour and thirteen minutes.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
In dog years, that's like seven and a half hours.
Speaker 9 (17:25):
I know.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Actually, thank you for the suggestion.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
I haven't heard of this film yet, but I'm going
to watch the trailer and I'm gonna go watch it
whenever I can.
Speaker 6 (17:34):
It literally just came out on October third, so like
five days ago.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
It's really new.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
Okay, awesome, thank you, Ashley.
Speaker 8 (17:40):
Yeah, it's not a problem.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
I didn't want to see the movie because it looks different.
I've never seen a movie like that before. I like

Speaker 1 (19:19):
He was there talking about his new relationship and he

so much fun of him. I think maybe even like
his publicist was fired after that.

Three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Thank you so much for starting your day with us
over here at the River. We truly appreciate that. And
Ricky Sanchez has.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Your three things.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Dolly Parton's sister has apologized for scaring fans so Dolly's sister,
Freda sparked a bit.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Of panic yesterday.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
She posted social media asking fans to pray for her sister,
as she hasn't been feeling great lately. She recently, Dolly
had recently postponed her shows in Vegas for a few
procedures that she needs done based on her doctor's suggestions.
So now her sister Freda is apologizing for scaring fans
who all flock to her post and worry that something
(21:34):
terrible had happened to Dolly. She cleared the her by
saying that you know, Dolly's just a little bit under
the weather end quote. It was nothing more than a
little sister asking for prayers for her big sister. So
nothing bad is happening. Everybody, you know, take a deep breath.
Dolly's okay. She just needs to get.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Through whatever's going on right now where she's a little
o inder the weather.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
That's all I'll say.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I think I pray for Dolly every day, every day,
all day, just because she's Dolly.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
I mean, yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Yeah this we cannot lose Dolly or anything bad happened
to Dolly. So yes, I understand why everybody got nervous,
But she's okay. Fido in Hillsboro Village has posted the
cafes planned closure, so a post one up on the
wall of Fidoh with a message from the founder stating
that the cafe will close June first of twenty twenty eight,
which would be.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
Thirty years since it opened.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Part of the notice said quote, I don't want our
closing to be a sudden, sad thing. I want these
last years, months, days, minutes and seconds to.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Be a reflection and celebration. So there's like a little ticker.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
On top of the poster of accountdown to the day
that they're going to end up closing their doors. This
is a very unique way to let people know when
they're closing. Typically it comes very sudden. In the post,
they do mention that that the normal way that people
close is very sudden and it brings on a lot of,
you know, sadness, and that's why they want to do things.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
A little differently.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
I will post the full excerpt that they had posted
the full statement on our Instagram post at one O
seven five the River in our Instagram stories. But go
support Fido in the last bit that we get of
Fido here in Nashville and bar streams are the new
way to get your drama fix. A Florida bar called
(23:11):
Elbow Room in Fort Lauderdale has been live streaming since
nineteen ninety six, but it's recently gone super viral on
TikTok and people are calling it their favorite show. So
the live stream has no audio, so viewers are getting
really creative with what they think is actually happening at
this bar. But there is a two ninety nine per
month subscription that you could do to get audio access
(23:31):
to see what people are saying. And it's not just
Elbowroom that are doing this. There's a lot of other
bars that are doing the same thing. But this is
how people are getting their fix for like drama and
reality TV because it's actual reality TV.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
Nothing's being planned. It's kind of crazy.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
It's going nuts on TikTok.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
You should check it out. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those
are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 9 (23:52):
Priiki, Zach and Meno in the morning on one oh
seven five.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
The River. What are you embarrassed to buy at the store?
Speaker 1 (24:01):
I can't be the only one that feels a little,
you know, embarrassed to walk around with a big.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
Thing of toilet paper in my cart. I feel like
people just see it and think, like, oh, that.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Guy's really got to go whatever they think, and it's
it's a little embarrassing for me?
Speaker 4 (24:13):
So what is it for you, Zach? Mine is medicine.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
Medicine.
Speaker 6 (24:18):
Yeah, Like, whenever I'm like in the cold and flu section,
I'm buying like news and next I want to be like,
I'm not gonna get you sick, Like I'm not sick,
Like I'm just buying medicine.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Huh.
Speaker 6 (24:27):
Like I feel self conscious, okay, yeah, Like I feel
like people are like running and I'm like, it's fine,
I promise, I'm okay.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Interesting, all right?
Speaker 2 (24:34):
What is it that embarrasses you to buy at the
grocery store six one five seven, three seven nine one
oh seven toilet paper?
Speaker 3 (24:42):
Medications? What else could there be?
Speaker 1 (24:45):
These guys are making me feel crazy about my toilet
paper thing, but I know I'm not alone.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
What is it for you? What are you embarrassed to buy?
Speaker 9 (24:49):
Let us know, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
On what are you embarrassed to buy at the grocery store?
Speaker 3 (24:57):
The convenience store? It's one o seven five the river.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Kevin gets really embarrassed to buy toilet paper for some reason.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
I put it in my cart last because I don't
want to walk around the store with it.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Zach it doesn't like to buy medication.
Speaker 6 (25:09):
I just feel like people are staring at me, like,
oh no, he's gonna get me sick, and I'm like,
I'm fine.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Howie and Smirna, what is it for you that you
don't like to buy when you're out at the store.
Speaker 8 (25:18):
Cat food?
Speaker 3 (25:19):
Why cat food?
Speaker 8 (25:20):
You know, my friend's gonna be a hard time about
being a cat guy. It's embarrassing. But I just love felines,
and I feel like people are judging me when I'm
at the store when I buy a cat food, and
I'm just like this creepy cat guy.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
But I'm not.
Speaker 8 (25:33):
I'm not a creepy cat guy. I'm just a normal guy.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Normal guy who likes cats.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
You're just a cat dad cat like cat's plural, cat's guy.
Never enough enough, Okay, it's starting to sound a little creepy.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
We're having a little therapy session here though, because I
know that my toilet paper thing is irrational, and I
just want to put your mind it is. How nobody
is judging you for buying cat food.
Speaker 8 (25:57):
It sure feels like it.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
No, I think you're okay.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
I think you're you're taking care of your pets, and
that's a good thing.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
If you weren't buying your.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Cats plural food, that would be a little more concerning.
Speaker 8 (26:07):
Howie, What if I was buying the cat food for myself?
Speaker 3 (26:10):
That would be a whole nother discussion.
Speaker 7 (26:12):
How did they know none of their business?
Speaker 4 (26:14):
That's right? And I guess now I'm trying to get
a visual.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Here is the cart just completely full of cat food,
because that'd be a different story.
Speaker 8 (26:21):
Cat food, you know, wet andra, cat nip, cat toys,
just a lot of cat stuff.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
You know, Howie, I think we're gonna stop asking questions
because I.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Think we're getting on their drink of Yeah, we're gonna
get to the judging point.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
We don't want to judge. You know, we're not at
all buy your.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Cats the cat food or yourself. I guess whatever.
Speaker 8 (26:39):
Works, have a great meal day.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
I'm gonna let Kevin explain why he decided to pick
today's daily double tap on one of seven five of
the River, because I feel like he's giving a warning
to Zach and I specifically, Yeah, go ahead, keV.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Tells, interesting, it's interesting that you feel that way. I
really was not thinking of our personal relationship when I
landed on this DDC. Okay, but I thought it would
just be a good PSA for everybody because there is
a date coming up that I was fully unaware of.
So when I heard this, I was like, oh my god,
we got to alert the masses.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Here we go. Today's daily double Tap.
Speaker 8 (27:16):
National Slap your Coworker Day is on Thursday October twenty
third this year. So if you're thinking about it and
you're realizing, hey, I actually don't have anybody I want
to slap, you probably don't want to go into work
that day.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
It's great advice, feels like a warning. It does.
Speaker 7 (27:29):
October twenty third, Kevin Man, I watch your back.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Oh now he's doing the warning back to you.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
This is really just supposed to be for everybody that
works around people they might want to slap.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
I don't have that problem. I cannot relate to this.
Speaker 7 (27:42):
See then maybe you shouldn't.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
Show felt pot I want right into it. That was
the whole point of the thing.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
I we'll post a video on our Instagram stories at
one O seven five The River. If you want to
share it with the coworker, perhaps give him a warning.
Speaker 9 (27:57):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one O
seven five The River
