Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Welcome to Thursday, friends, Thank you so much for starting
your day with us.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Cheryl Crowe has announced six acoustics shows at Nashville's Woolworth Theater.
It's going to be a monthly concert series that kicks
off on Tuesday, October twenty first, and supports her.

Speaker 5 (00:18):
New foundation, Love Now.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Love Now's mission is to build relationships with administrations, teachers,
and social workers in local public schools to meet the
needs of those in the community who are often overlooked
and unseen. So tickets go on sale tomorrow, October tenth.
If you want to go check that out. There's going
to be six of them. Billy Eilich has released an

(00:40):
unocard deck that has customized rules.

Speaker 5 (00:43):
This is really cool.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
So apparently Billy is a huge, huge Uno fan, So
now there is Uno Canvas Billie Eilish pack as a
whole new look for the game, so it very much
has like her vibe to all the cards. But there's
a bunch of new rules too, like color passes, extra turns,
and reveal hands. There's also color blind friendly symbols on
the cards too, which I think is really awesome, So

(01:06):
you don't need to look at the card and wonder
what color it is.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
If you can't see, it'll tell you based off the symbol.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
They're sold out on her website already, but you can
add your email for when they're back in stock. And
I did see that there's possibility that they're going to
turn up a target as well, so keep your eye
out for that. And these are the top jobs that
employers are hiring for right now. According to the employment
site Monster, healthcare, logistics and customer service are the hottest fields. Okay,

(01:33):
so specifically, the top three that people are hiring most
for are registered nurses, physical therapists, and truck drivers. Just
something to keep in mind while you're applying for jobs.
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Thank you so much, Ricky.

Speaker 2 (01:48):

I am on my way to work, say so begrudgingly.

Speaker 9 (02:24):
Well, no, I'm.

Speaker 6 (02:25):
Good with it.

Speaker 10 (02:25):
I'm happy. I'm an early bird. I like, it's nothing
going to work.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
What do you do, Sarah?

Speaker 10 (02:29):
I work in onboarding its new employees and learning and
development of leadership.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Wow, that sounds like a really big title for what company.

Speaker 7 (02:38):
It's called Corpe Corpe.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I love when Kevin asks things like this, because he
has no idea what corporate.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
There's a chance she would say like Amazon or you know, uh,
that's the only company I can think of right now.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
But you know what I'm.

Speaker 10 (02:50):
Saying, Yeah, no, no, I got it. It's it's a
company based of Atlanta, but historically it's always been known
in Nashville as Calm Data in the past, so like
it's been around for a really long time in Nashville
as like a different brand called Calm Data.

Speaker 8 (03:05):
Well, Sair, I might I want you to know that.

Speaker 11 (03:07):
I looked at Corpe and indeed dot com says this
is a good place to work.

Speaker 8 (03:11):
Coworkers are nice and the pays around average.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
So good job.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
We like to hear it.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Ten out of ten for you, Sarah.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Hey, do you have plans Monday night?

Speaker 10 (03:23):
No plans at all?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Well, you came to the.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Right place, because now you got some plans. You're gonna
see Leve at Bridgetone Arena.

Speaker 10 (03:29):
Oh my gosh, yay. I love her. I cannot wait.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I'm I've never seen her or anything, so I would
Uh yeah, I'm very curious to see how the live
show is.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Have you seen her before.

Speaker 10 (03:39):
I've not seen her before, but I've been wanting to
go to a concert and she just looks like she's
a fantastic performer.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Yes, have so much fun.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
It's gonna be a phenomenal show, truly, wholeheartedly. She's got
like a very distinct and fun vibe to her, So
I'm sure that this live show is going to be
absolutely phenomenal.

Speaker 10 (03:57):
Yeah, thank you, I can't wait.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Congrats, we have a ham line. Okay, we got to
get some info from you, Kevin.

Speaker 11 (04:02):
What were you going to say if she did say
like Amazon or something. What would that have changed?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
I would have asked her where my tent is? I
heard of the tent the other day and it hasn't
arrived yet.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
That is not the department that she would have worked.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Maybe she could transwer me we have more of these
tickets tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (04:19):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Ricky has a lot of follow up questions, but we're
just gonna keep going. Last she had to these le
tickets tomorrow morning.

Speaker 12 (04:25):
Who is the one oh seven five the River Secret Sabrina.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Whoever can find out who the one oh seven five
of the River's Secret Sabrina is is getting tickets to.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
See her here in Nashville and in New York City.

Speaker 8 (04:38):
So this is huge.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
This has been happening for like a week and a half.
At this point, we'd be giving you clues. You should
have been listening to all of them to piece together
who this person is here locally in Nashville to find
our one o seven five the River's Secret Sabrina.

Speaker 11 (04:52):
I will say the best clue that we've gotten so
far was yesterday morning, we officially know that it's a female.

Speaker 8 (04:56):
Yes, yeah, we've only gotten that far.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
So just a little quick recap. We know that it's
a female.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
It's also a person who doesn't go out in the
morning very often. They're more of a night out. They
like to go out and go to bars and hang
out with friends.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
There not a native Nashvillian.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Not a native Nashvillion.

Speaker 8 (05:15):
And they love to be in front of the camera.

Speaker 11 (05:17):
Yep, loves to be in front of the Yeah. But
not a news anchor, because that was one of the clues.
Not a news anchor.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Well, we're kind of thinking influence. So that's where we are.
That's where our heads are right now.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Right, And then we have another clue which may or
may not solidify that assumption.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Here we go, your next clue.

Speaker 11 (05:32):
The pressure is getting to me every day to be
creative in a new way.

Speaker 12 (05:37):
Yesterday was way too close.

Speaker 8 (05:39):
Will anyone else come out to play?

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Okay, well yesterday that reference yesterday. If you missed this,
somebody apparently did approach this person and the wording was wrong.
You have to have the right wording. You have to say,
are you the one of seven five the river Secret Sabrina?

Speaker 11 (05:52):
Yeah, I guess the person just said, hey, are you
the Sabrina person instead of the actual verbiage of are
you the one on seven five The River Secret Sabrina,
and I will say this clue kind of solidifies that
they are an influencer because it says creative, creative in
a new way.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Yeah, every day, sure, coming up with content all the time. Okay, Okay,
I like that we're on this track.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
I really do. I feel like we're getting closer. There's
only seventeen thousand influencers in Nash.

Speaker 11 (06:19):
I do also love that we went from Kevin's stone
cold Steve Austin to finally narrowed it down to an influencer.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
That was also just the most insane thing that anyone
could ever say. Though Kevin, there.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Were a few clues that were really making me think
stone right. But yeah, we're putting that to the side.
We have another clue at two fifty. But if you
think you know who this is, if you have any
influencers in your sphere, somebody that you might run into,
make sure you ask them. Make sure you ask them.
Are you the one who seventy five The River's Secret, Sabrina.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
You gotta say it correctly and the person has to
say yes. Because that was another question that we got
was like, oh, if you get like a nod or
a smile.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Does that mean yes?

Speaker 1 (06:56):
No?

Speaker 4 (06:57):
That person needs to say yes, I am and they
and you know that you're the winner.

Speaker 11 (07:01):
And then we also have gotten a lot of dms
of like oh can I DM them or message them? No,
you have to ask this person in person if they
are three things.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
You need to know.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
All right, just after seven o'clock on this Thursday morning,
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
And right after those three things, we have some news
to share with you. Ricky, the floor is yours, all right.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Rolling Stone has come out with a list of the
two hundred and fifty greatest songs of the twenty first
century so far. Here are the top five, okay. Starting
at number five is All Too Well by Taylor Swift.
Four goes to seven Nation Army by The White Stripes,
Three is Crazy in Love by Beyonce and jay Z.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Number two goes to Yeah Yeah Yeahs for their.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Song maps, and the number one spot goes to get
Your Freak one by Missy Elliott.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
Yes, it's freak on cool. I love that so much?
Maybe so happy to see that. The full list is
obviously up on Rolling Stone's website.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
You can check out all of them it's a very
eclectic list of song so it's really really cool to
check out Black Dynasty Secret. Romen House is going to
take up residency inside Mitchell Delicatessen for the next year.
They've been looking for a permanent spot since Bearded Iris
announced its closure, but for now they're going to use
this residency to make sure that you can get your
Ramen fix.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
They said in an announcement on their social.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Media quote, we know you need ramen, and nothing can
stop us for making ramen because without ramen, what's the
point And they've got a very big point there.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Our doesn't say. Zach specifically agrees.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
You can check them out Thursdays through Sundays from five
to ten pm at Mitchell Deli in East and Sweden
has launched a new wellness tourism initiative called the Swedish
Prescription and I am fully on.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Board with this.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
The initiative encourages doctors to prescribe travel to Sweden as
a way to improve mental and physical health. So the
program highlights how activities like forest bathing, sawna use viewing
the Northern lights can all improve sleep, boost moods, reduce stress,
and support heart health.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
In the end, so Visit Sweden has.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Created a downloadable guide for doctors that they can use
to recommend specific experiences, from psyching scenic trails in Sweden
to going to their museums. The idea is to treat
travel not just as leisure, but as a form of therapy.
And I just got to find a doctor who's willing
to prescribe this right now because I need this.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Thank you very much, Ricky.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
I hope everybody appreciated that report, that little news report
right there from one of the best to ever do it, Ricky.
I'm gonna hit this drum roll here, and then I'm
gonna once again say the floor is yours if you
would like to share.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Any oh you want me to share it? Okay?

Speaker 4 (09:44):

Speaker 11 (10:38):
Did you guys know that baby elephants are the biggest
babies born on land, so they weigh about between two
hundred and three hundred pounds at birth. And then did
you also know that they start walking within an hour?

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Yeah? Humans, we really, we knew freaking yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
We are honestly all other animals are, you know, pretty
quick with stuff.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
But now that you need to get to little children
two hundred pounds and they stand in an hour. If
you weigh thirteen pounds, baby start walking.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
It's a big baby.

Speaker 8 (11:09):
Kevin, you were a big baby.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
I was a ten pound baby, not quite elephant range,
but still pretty big.

Speaker 11 (11:14):
Whenever I go bowling, I use a ten pound That
was me when I came out and there's your fact of.

that big of a fish.

Speaker 9 (14:25):
It's not that hard because I was fishing in a
small area like a lot of trees, and he probably

Speaker 13 (17:18):
That's my time?

Speaker 6 (17:19):
I had to step out of the car second.

Speaker 10 (17:20):
We're gonna scream the whole time.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
What's his name? Er Ender? Okay?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Ender's cool? Wish mom Luck been asking this question all week?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Are you old enough to know things about the year
two thousand and five?

Speaker 5 (17:34):
Yeah, all right, let's get started, keV.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Doug two thousand and five triving for these Jonas Brothers tickets.
You get two out of three of them, right, they're yours.
Here we go Peyton, Your game starts right now. In
two thousand and five, the third season of a show
called The Simple Life premiered name one of the two
stars of the Simple Life.

Speaker 9 (17:56):
Oh was it?

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (18:03):
One of my favorite shows growing up.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
I just got so excited once you heard that, Questions like.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
I know what Nicole Ritchie would have been the other one?

Speaker 12 (18:10):
There? You get this, you win.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
In February of two thousand and five, Tom Brady won
his third Super.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Bowl with what team?

Speaker 6 (18:20):
Oh, I'm not good at this. I'm just gonna guess
with the Patriots.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yes, yeah, Tom Brady and the Patriots were in quite
a tear back then.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Congratulations, all right, thanks, congratulations. You are seeing the Jonas
Brothers and next week, October fourteenth, it's gonna be a
phenomenal show. I'm so excited to see who they bring
out as special guest because they've been doing that at
every tour.

Speaker 12 (18:43):
Sup.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
So you're gonna have a great time, Hayton, I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
All Right, We're gonna put you on hold.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Let you get back in there to your son, who's
just screaming his head off in the carl by himself.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
But thanks, thanks for starting your day with.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Us hang on, Okay, all right, We've got more of
these tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Same game.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
I'm really enjoying this game. I honestly, I kind of
would some people would get some wrong. I have like
so many questions over here.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
See that Zach and I are learning some things from
two thousand and five as well, because there are things
that we do.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
All right, just after eight o'clock on this Thursday morning,
thank you for starting your day with us. The award
winning Ricky Salachez has your three things.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
The twenty twenty five Victoria Series Fashion show headliners have
been announced and they killed it this year with their picks.

Speaker 5 (19:25):
They went all female for the lineup.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Carol G Madison, Beer, Missy Elliott and twice will all.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Perform at the event.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
It's going to be broadcasted live on October fifteenth, so
next week at seven pm Eastern. You can watch it
on Amazon Prime Video, and they're also going to live
stream it on all of their social media pages, so
you can also catch it on Instagram, TikTok, and.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
YouTube as well.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
The Gulch is getting a new bar called Love's Alibi.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
I'm really excited about this.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
So this new spot is by the team behind Barrel
Proof Nashville, and it's going to open at nine oh one.

Speaker 5 (19:58):
Gleave Street this fall, so it should be opening soon.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
I don't have a specific date just yet, but this
is why it's so exciting.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
They're focusing on a neighborhood vibe.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
They want locals to feel like they could just go
for casual drinks and you know, spend some time, meet
some new friends, and have a great time at a
new place.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
I like them especially amazing in.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
The Gulch because there's a lot of tourism there, so
this is really really cool. You can expect a cocktail
forward menu, tavern style food, and a lot of greenery
when you walk in.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Apparently that's the vibe that they're going for.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Like I said, I don't have a specific date for
when it is opening, but once I know, I will
let you know. And there is a new dating app
that puts the focus on friendships and double dates, which
I think is great for people who, you know, it's
a little harder to get out there in the dating scene.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
For so it's called Plot Twist.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
It allows singles to team up with a friend and
then to connect with other pairs of single people so
that you can have like a low pressure hangs.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
This is supposed to be low stress.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Double dating is what they're looking for here, So your
arrange group get togethers to meet people without the pressure
that you know, if you're single, you feel like, oh,
I'm going on just a one on one date.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
It's kind of like a group date, group effort.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
And if it doesn't turn out to be a date
date and there's nothing going on there, maybe it makes
some new friends instead. Like I said, it's called plot twist.
I'm rig Sanchez And those are the three.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Things you need to know Ricky, Zach and Meno in
the morning on one.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Not new information, but TikTok is a weird and wild place.
People go down these rabbit holes. You can learn a
lot on TikTok. We've done this before. We learned about sticktok. Yes, sticktok.
It's like the whole you know, subsection of TikTok perpetual stews,
perpetual stows. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
So our question for you right now is what did
you learn from TikTok?

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine one oh seven
call us and tell us what TikTok has taught you. Obviously,
like you know, not something that's insane and not true.
Like we want to know something that you really like,
you know, delved into and learned from TikTok.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Yeah, yeah, teach us.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Now it's like like an oral report here on what
you learn from TikTok.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Teach us, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 5 (22:02):
On what have you learned recently on TikTok?

Speaker 8 (22:07):
It's the river.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
We had to play that song, by the way, that
was just too perfect.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
Timing just fits, it just fits.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Stephanie and Clarksville. What have you learned from TikTok recently?

Speaker 6 (22:16):
Okay, so it's not been recent, but in the last
couple of years, prior to COVID, I could not save
a plant or to keep it alive to save my life.
And now I have the biggest green thumb. I have
like a huge garden both spring and fall, and I
learned everything I needed to know about gardening on TikTok.

Speaker 11 (22:36):
Yeah, Stephanie, is there like one tip, like the very
number one tip that you can give somebody that needs
help with their plants.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
Just keep them alive. No, I'm just kidding, don't overwater them.
That is the biggest thing I would kill a succulent
because I overwatered it. Yeah, it's like once a week
for the house plants, maybe twice if you train them
to be that way. But my outside garden like same thing.
Don't overwater it, just tender love and care.

Speaker 8 (23:06):
That does make sense.

Speaker 11 (23:07):
So I do have plant watering Day because we have
four plants in the studio and every Monday is plant
watering Day. And if anybody touches them, I get so mad.
I'm like, who watered these? Because now they're gonna get.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Like root rot. They're his babies, Stephanie.

Speaker 8 (23:21):
If we were to come over my baby too.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
If we were to come over to your house, what
is like the one thing you're currently growing that we
would have to taste or try?

Speaker 10 (23:28):
Well?

Speaker 6 (23:28):
Right now, I've got an entire bed of lettuce and
it looks so beautiful, all different kinds of lettuce, romaine, butter, kale,
all the things.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Oh my god, I'm really rest.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
Yeah, I'll have to send you all a picture.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
It's really impressive.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
And I'm actually very thankful that I learned everything off
of TikTok And just like now.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
My Google, I love that you're gonna have to start
sending us. We all kind of struggle a little bit
to keep our plants live. But we are impressed by
you and we love that you found out all of
this information from TikTok, a great source in some ways
it is.

Speaker 6 (24:02):
I find it to be my Google. Like it's visual
and I like to I'm a visual learner.

Speaker 11 (24:06):
Also, if you have a plethora of lettuce, Kevin is
the ultimate lettuce.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
I'm a vegetarian.

Speaker 14 (24:12):
Yeah, I'm on my way, all right, I'm bringing it by,
thanks Stephanie.

Speaker 6 (24:18):
Yeah, I have a good day.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on It's the River.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
We don't normally have like personal daily double taps like
things videos that we take of ourselves here, but that's
exactly what we're doing today. Zach slyly filmed Ricky last
night while she was realizing while looking in this this
magazine that she won a very prestigious award.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
Yes, Nashville Seeing put out their Best of Nashville and
I won Best Radio Personality. Yeah, I'm like so nerdly excited.

Speaker 11 (24:52):
Also the fact that I was like trying to like
hide my camera behind a cup while I was doing it,
clear cup.

Speaker 8 (24:59):
Yeah, it was not good.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
In the video, you'll hear Zach tell her what page
it's on. I think a j your fiance is the
one that was actually physically rifling through the thing.

Speaker 6 (25:09):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
And so there's a fair amount of suspense in this audio.
There's a whole period of this video where nothing's really happening.
But I promise it's red.

Speaker 11 (25:16):
It's on page one twenty two.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
You already know that.

Speaker 8 (25:24):
Yeah, I'm knocking golf.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
You know how to spoil it.

Speaker 14 (25:29):
We wait, I'm gonna cry about this, lady.

Speaker 8 (25:53):
Have you cried yet?

Speaker 5 (25:54):
I did cry.

Speaker 12 (25:55):
It's good because.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
This is a really like big deal and I number one,
I don't like to talk about myself like this by
any means.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
It makes you feel very uncomfortable.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
So, like, the guys are the ones that picks the
daily doublet out today.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
But I am.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
Very excited because it's all voted by you nationals, so
like you went and voted for me, and that just
means a lot.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
And it makes you really emotional when I think about it.

Speaker 8 (26:17):
Well, you worked your butt off for it.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Yeah, congratulations, Ricky. We're super super super proud. Everybody's been
congratulating her all morning. So if you want to get
in on that. Feel free to reach out one

Speaker 12 (26:29):
Seven five of the river Ricky, Zach and Mano in
the morning
