OOPS! It was Ricki's turn to upload the podcast and she forgot. ~my bad~

Ricki gives an update on her dog, PeeWee. Have tissues ready.

BUT there are lots of laughs, too, as we throw our coworkers under the bus for the dumb things we've seen them do.

Let's hold each other accountable with the new, productive things we're doing with this extra hour a day now that Daylight Saving Time has ended.

(00:00):
Three things you need to know, all right, So, the Franklin County
Sheriff's Office is at burning so thatmeans no fires right now. So last
night they posted on Facebook that theNorth Franklin Volunteer Fire Department responded to a
fire on Little Hurricane Road, andas of last night, the fire department
said it was under control and thatthe Tennessee Division of Forestry is responding to

(00:21):
the scene to check everything out.But they want you to know that they
are in a burn ban right now. They have been for over a week,
and they're asking everyone to not burnanything because of the massive drought that
we're in right now. So makesure that you are safe and you do
not burn anything anywhere in Middle Tennesseeright now because of the fact that we
are in a drought. Everything, all of the leaves that are falling,

(00:43):
all the sticks, they're dry,so they're going to catch fire, Okay,
be careful. And Tyson Foods isrecalling about thirty thousand pounds of its
Dino shaped chicken nuggets right now,so some consumers reported finding small pieces of
metal inside the patties. There's onlybeen one minor oral injury so far,
according to the USDA, but theyare asking that anybody who has bags that

(01:04):
have best if used by date ofSeptember fourth, twenty twenty four to not
eat them. Some of them weresold in both Tennessee and Kentucky, so
please be aware of that. Checkyour freezer, make sure that you do
not have anything that's contaminated with metalpieces. And security experts say that if
you want total protection on your accounts, that you should start adding emojis to

(01:26):
your passwords, which is really crazyto me. So a standard password uses
letters and numbers in punctuation, andit gives you about one hundred things that
you can mix and match. Butthere are currently three thousand, six hundred
or so different emojis that you canuse, so it gives you thirty six
times more thirty six times more protection. If you use an emoji, they
said, don't use any that giveyou away, So the frequently used ones,

(01:48):
stay away from those, Okay, use the other ones. I have
never actually tried to use them,so I don't know if a lot of
places will even let you. Ididn't know you could, but apparently you
can, and that's going to makeyou more sure than anything else, So
try it next time. That theyask you for a password. I'm Rickie
Sanchez, and those are the threethings you need to know your new companion.
So that morning coffee Ricky, Zachand Meadow in the morning on the

(02:14):
river. We're talking about being acreature of habit because a lot of us
are. We eat the same thingsdaily, every single day. And the
reason this started is because Dino chickennuggets. Thirty thousand pounds of Dino chicken
nuggets right now are being recalled andI used to eat those all the time.
Even as an adult in college,I eat Dino chicken nuggets. So
is there something now that you stilleat like almost daily that you that you

(02:36):
would say like you're addicted to?Yeah? Yeah, I actually really love
I make this one thing where it'sjust chicken sausage with a bunch of veggies
and I bake it in the oven. Yeah, and it's so easy and
so good and healthy that I eatit at least two times a week.
Minus pickles in cottage cheese and cottagecheese with the pickle, no separate meals,

(02:57):
oh, both of them, everysingle be there, Zach, I
put pickled red onions in my cottagecheese. Howad cheese just really freaks me
out every day, minus pickles andcottage cheese, I have to eat it.
What is something that you eat almostevery day Texas right now? Six
four eight ninety five. Put riverat the beginning of the message. Always
put your name and where you're textingfrom. It can also be something that
you used to eat as a childall the time. Because I mean Brittany

(03:20):
and Clarkstile, she said that shealways ate mashed banana and peanut butter sandwiches.
Okay, so that sounds good, but I'm a little bit freaked out
by the mash. The mash, the banana part. Mine were always sliced.
Yeah, the mash part makes mefeel like it's gonna be like apple
sauce, like the texture. Okay, I'm not mad about that though you're
freaked out. Zach, That's okay, that's all right. One oh seven
five of the River Ricky, Zachand Mano in the Morning. Yesterday was

(03:45):
a really rough day for me.If you could see me, my face
is puffy right now and I havelike no voice. Yeah. It's one
of seven five of the River withRicky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
So Ricky tell us what's going onwith your dog Peewees. So Pee's
been sick and we've talked about it. I've been very honest and open about,
you know, what's been going onwith him, because out of nowhere,

(04:05):
he started having seizures and I didn'tknow what was wrong, and it
was really scary because you were likeout on a walk with him, you'd
go to the bathroom and he justhad a seizure. It happened out of
nowhere. And all of you havebeen so kind and reaching out to me
about different things that I could doto help him CBD, certain treatments and
things like that. People to gosee to see what was going on with

(04:26):
him. He had a brain tumor, and he's had three seizures in two
months. And yesterday in the morning, he had a really really hard morning
and ended up having another seizure. And this one was really rough on him
and really rough on us to watchbecause it was definitely one of the more

(04:49):
painful ones and vastly different than hisother ones that he's had. And he's
just kind of progressively getting worse andworse and worse. So we had to
take him to the vet yesterday andwe had to put him down, and
it's just been really hard. Iknow, he's been part of your life
for so long, thirteen years we'vehad him, and he was the best

(05:12):
dog ever. And it was justa lot yesterday to have to wake up
and kind of come to terms withthat. But we did it because his
quality of life was really deteriorating.Yeah, and he was going to the
bathroball out in the house and hewould get sad about that, and the
seizures were no good, and hewas pacing a lot. He just wasn't
himself at all, and we justfelt like it wasn't fair to kind of

(05:33):
like keep him holding on for ourown selfish needs. So as hard as
it is to come to terms withit, I do think you made the
correct decision for him and for youguys, we wanted to be with him.
It happened. Yeah, I hatethat you had to go through it,
and that made like watching you crybreaks my heart, But I do
think that you made the best decisionfor you and Pee. We both instantly

(05:54):
once we got home, we werelike, we wish that we could take
it back, but yeah, weknow that like we had to do it.
Like I said of life, andwe wanted to be with him because
God forbid, something happened when weweren't with him, So we had to
go through that yesterday. So kindof coming to terms with it, and
just want to give you an updatebecause I have so many of you are
so kind of you always reach outto me and ask about him. So

(06:15):
yeah, well we love you,We love aj, we love Peewee,
your new companion to that morning copyRicky, Zach and Meadow in the morning
on the River. Three things youneed to know? All right, bear
with me. I'm still a littlesniffily from our last talk, but these
are the three things you need toknow. Post Malone is going to have
his debut performance alongside Morgan Wallen andHardy at the CMA Awards this week,

(06:40):
and Hardy said that he manifested it. So he said that Posty's performance is
a result of positive thinking. Hesaid in a recent interview, I've manifested
this for years, slight flex here, but I started following him when he
had like three hundred thousand Instagram followers. Post Malone is known for the music
that we play, you know, top forty pop music, but he's also
a huge country fan. With coversof songs like Brad Paisley's I'm Gonna Miss

(07:03):
Hers When I'm in a Country.Posty sitting in the show, so both

(07:25):
him and post Malone and Morgan Wallaare are gonna all perform a medley of
classic country songs at the CMA Awardson Wednesday night at Bardstone Arena. It
should be pretty cool. I lovethe fact that he also loves country.
License plate recognition cameras have been takendown for now in Nashville. This has
been a hot topic for years here. The license plate recognition cameras have gone

(07:48):
up like for a pilot program ofsix months or so, and they've been
taken down as of right now. They're kind of in a debate right now
of who they want to go withas a vendor, so they are gonna
go up again at some point.Again, this is a just huge topic
here. A lot of people arestill trying to fight them ever going up
again, but it looks like it'sinevitable. So we'll keep you updated when

(08:09):
those actually do go up again, and how the pilot program ended up actually
really working all of the resources thatthey put into it. And Triple A
has tips to drive after the timechange. Oh so daylight saving time ended
and that means that it's going toget darker earlier, right, which is
always rough for us. So hereare some things for you to remember so

(08:31):
that you can prepare for the change. Always watch out for pedestrians, especially
in parking lots and driveways. Thisis a huge one here in Nashville.
We're not very good at watching outfor pedestrians. Leave more following rooms,
so when you're behind somebody, makesure you give them enough space in between
you and the person in front ofyou. Be mindful of children who are
going to be outdoors because it's stillnot late. Even though it feels late,

(08:52):
it's just darker out. Some kidsare still playing. Make sure you
pay attention to that. And makesure that you are not paying attention to
your cell phone and you are mostlyjust paying attention to the road and obviously
our voices on the radio thank you. And make sure that you are always
scanning the road for wild animals, mainly deer, because they're also trying to
get used to the time change.I'm Riquye Sanchez, and those are the

(09:15):
three things you need to know. One oh seven five of the River Ricky
Zach and Mano in the morning. The dumb things you have seen your co
workers do at work? It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on
one of seven, five the River. Kevin Mano's out. He is in
New York City. He watched hisbrother run a marathon. Yes, wild,
So he's out here today. Sowe won't rat on him of the

(09:39):
dumb things we've seen him do.Right, we'll only talk about ourselves.
But first let's get to Chelsea. We got Chelsea and Liberty on the line.
What is the dumb thing that you'veseen your coworker do? Okay,
I'm a bartender. I was trainingthe new guy at work two weeks ago.
I told him we needed to makea bucket a beer for a customer.
He grabbed the rusty bucket and walkedover to the draft beer and started

(10:01):
pouring draft into the Chelsea. Andit gets better, it gets better,
I said, I said, no, baby, I said, we put
bottles in the buckets. That littlesweetheart opened up five bottles of beer and
started dumping those in the bucket.Oh, Chelsea, what did you do
at that point? Were you justlike I got the I got it I'll
do the bucket of beer. Yes, I was really nice, but when

(10:22):
I told all of my bosses,we just couldn't believe it. I am
mind blown that somebody. I mean, I kind of get it though you
would, Zach, Like you say, I need a bucket of beer,
so I'm gonna fill up the bucketof beer. Oh my god, Chelsea,
I'm with you out of that bucket. Yeah. No, I've seen
those buckets and they're pretty rusty andnasty. Chelsea, thank you so much

(10:43):
for hanging out with us. Weappreciate you for calling in. Thank you
every day. Oh my gosh.A bucket of beer filled with actual beer
in that rusty bucket. That issomething I thought that I had a good
one for Zach doing stupid things thatwere what do I do well? You
tend to you tend to think thateverything here is going to work on a
daily basis, which it doesn't,so you end up just assuming that everything

(11:09):
will work, and then by assumingeverything will work, it ends up falling
apart. I'm sorry for my optimism. Yeah, so it's not even really
that you're dumb, it's just yourvery optimistic, which is pretty dumb.
Thinking anything in here will work. You need a level your playing field with
what you what you know will work, and what won't. All right,
call us right now, six onfive, seven through seven, nine,
one oh seven. Tell us thedumb thing that your coworker has done.

(11:30):
Make us laugh. We need thelaughs today, one oh seven, five
of the River, Ricky, Zachand Mano in the morning. What are
you doing with your extra hour aday now that daylight saving time is ended?
It's all about getting more sleep.Yes, I'm boring. I'm boring
right, No, that totally makessense. Everybody needs more sleep. I
don't think any of us actually getthe proper amount of what is it,
eight hours we're supposed to get?Yeah, minimum. I know I don't

(11:54):
get enough, so I'll take itwhen I can get it. What's your
name? My name is Jeff,Jeff. Yes, definitely take that extra
hour, as long as it doesnot move in on listening to us in
the morning. Correct. Oh no, I always up early. Good,
Jeff, go to bed early soyou can wake up early and hang out
with us every day. Okay,we'll do. I love the show it.

(12:15):
Oh, thank you so much forlistening and hanging out with us.
Have the best day. We loveyou. Have a good day, friend,
Zach. What are you doing withyour extra hour a day? I
am going to do my best tomeal prep more. Oh good idea.
I'm trying to focus on my healthand like food for that's good for my
gut. So I'm trying my bestto meal prep more so now that I
have the extra hour, that Ican actually cook healthy things instead of just

(12:39):
ordering random taco bell. Okay, love that for you. I also plan
on being more productive with my extrahour. I want to go to the
gym now. Ricky's a Jim Gurley. I used to be a gym Gurley
and then I fell off the wagonand I got to get right back on
there. So I'm going to startgoing to the gym. I have an
extra hour a day. I haveno excuse. I'm going to hold you
accountable now, Okay, I hopeyou do. I hold you a can

(13:00):
if you hold me accountable, Doneand done. That's what friends do.
You literally said you're going to thegym. So how do I hold you
accountable? Though? Because you couldjust lie to me. I won't.
No, I won't lie. Ineed photo evidence every single day that you
go to the gym. Okay, fine, I will send you a picture
every day that I go to thegym, so you know that I actually
went, and I'll give you anupdate every single day if Ricky went to
the gym or not perfect. Perfect. Here's also your homework to do.

(13:24):
Think of something productive to do withyour extra hour a day now that daylight
saving time has ended, and thenfind a friend to hold you accountable for
doing something productive. Yeah, we'regonna start off our New Year's resolutions early.
Essentially you like there's less pressure ifwe do it now, agreed?
All right, great? I don'tknow that just came spur the moment right
there, but that works out reallywell. It came out of nowhere.
Breaks and here we are us tohold you accountable. Let us know what

(13:45):
you plan on doing with your extrahour a day. Text us six four
eight nine five is the number.Put river at the beginning of the message,
and make sure you put your nameand where you're texting from because we
will check in on you. Okay, we will your new companion. So
that morning coffee Zach and manow inthe morning the river. Right now,
we got your daily double tap foryou. This one is all about what

(14:07):
it's like being a girl, becauseyou know we're girls. Here's the daily
douvil tatle. We're gonna put ourhair back and we're gonna pull out the
two little front pieces. We're girls. We're gonna be cold, We're gonna
be hot. We're gonna be hungry. We're gonna ask you for a little
bite. We're girls. We're gonnajust think it's funny though. We're girl.
We're gonna send you one hundred memes, and if you don't respond to
each and every one of those memesindividually, we're gonna be pissed. We're

(14:28):
girls. We're gonna get the gonnamake fun of you not having a headboard.
Usually, why don't you have aheadboard. We're gonna buy a bag

de cour. We're gonna like Halloweende cor. We're gonna need to take
a break. We're gonna live,laugh, love. We're girl. We're
gonna solve any crime by dinner time. We're girls. I think I'm a

(14:48):
girl now. Solve any crime bydinner time. We're girl. Yeah,
I think I'm a girl now.I do all of those things, just
all the classic things that girls do. You're girls, That's what we do.
The full thing will be up onone of seven five of the River's
Instagram account. You can watch itin the stories because you will watch it
and go, you know what,we are girls and we do all these
