Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Okay, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
Just after six o'clock on this Thursday morning, we had
a few technical issues here a moment ago.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
If you witness study of that, we are sorry, work
it out. It's all sorted now, so we're here. We're good.
Let's go. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
New studios, lots of fun sometimes. Paris Hilton helped reunite
a cat with its owners in La. She donated a
large amount of money to help victims of wildfire of
the wildfires in La this week, but she didn't stop there.
She visited a local shelter where she posted to social
media that a cat was separated from its family during

(00:38):
these fires and thanks to her, they have now been
reunited with their kitty cat, which is amazing.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
The shelter told Paris about it yesterday.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
They did add that the cat will stay with them
for now because the family is currently displaced. Unfortunately, the
city of La is still battling fires.

Speaker 5 (00:55):
It's been a week, a little over.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
A week now that they've been continuously battling these, so
our hearts go out to them and we are thinking
about them every single day. Doctor Pepper is releasing a
new BlackBerry flavor. It's gonna have the same ingredients as
a regular Doctor Peppers for all twenty three flavors that
you know and love, with the addition of a sweet
and tangy BlackBerry flavor. You can find it next month

(01:18):
in both regular and zero sugar options at every place
that you would typically find Doctor Pepper. The National Sounds
are hosting sound Check fan Fest for its second year.
The free event is gonna happen Saturday, February first at
Tailgate Brewery's headquarters. We love Tailgate Brewery so much. They're
all amazing there, so make sure you go support them

(01:39):
and support the Sounds. It's important to support local. There's
gonna be a Q and A and an autograph session
as well as a silent auction all happening.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
RCPs are encouraged, but not required.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
You can find that on their website on the Sounds website.
Like I said, Saturday February first at Tailgate Brewery, HQ
America Sanchez and those are the three things you need
to know, you.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Ricky, If we are invited out again this year to
throw out the first pitch at the Sounds game like
we did last year, it was I stepped up. I
threw a perfect strike last year. Who is on the
mound this year is that you were Zach And we.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Did a discussion to me because Zach's also done it before.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Okay, so this is your year.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
If they ask us to do it again.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
They'll ask us you better start practice and no.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
You know what, trust itself.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
God, that was a perfect strike I threw last.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
Ricky, Zach and Man in the morning on.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Jersey. Ballerini is performing here in Nashville at Bridgetown Arena
January thirty first, and we got tickets for the first
collar of the day on one O.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Seven five the River.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
I've said it before, I'll say it again. This is
a really good prize for this hour.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
It is and I think I might be going.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
It's good for you.

Speaker 7 (02:45):
I know you really want to go.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
I really want to go.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
So if you get these tickets, you got to come
find me.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, you might be sitting by Ricky. Honestly, that's usually.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
How it works for There a lot of tickets six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven first caller of the day. We're talking
to you next, and these tickets are yours one oh
seven five of the River.

Speaker 6 (03:01):
Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Good morning to Jonathan and Manchester. Welcome to one oh
seven five the River. How's your morning going so far?

Speaker 8 (03:10):
That's cold, that's about it.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
It's cold.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah, over the cold weather already.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Have you been outside yet? Jonathan? Are you still in
your house? What are you doing?

Speaker 9 (03:19):
I'm outside now, head home.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Heading home. Do you work overnight?

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Work, Okay, it's important stuff.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
That's very important stuff.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
I literally wouldn't be able to survive without the guy
who comes and does the maintenance in my apartment.

Speaker 10 (03:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Because we over here, we know nothing, We don't know
how to do anything, so we.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
Rely on Well, speak for yourself, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
What can you do? Jet called you Jack. I'm sorry, Zach.

Speaker 7 (03:43):
I can work a saw a drill, give you a saw.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
I don't think you know.

Speaker 9 (03:48):
How to actually properly what I saw well, I made
shelves in my coat closet at my house.

Speaker 7 (03:55):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
I'm going to text your boyfriend to make sure that's true.

Speaker 10 (03:58):
Do it?

Speaker 9 (03:58):
Jonathan would have done a better, though, sincerely doubt it.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Hi, Jonathan, how are you hey? You want to go
see Kelsey? Ballerini.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah, well, amazing because you're the first color of the day.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
You're getting tickets to go see her January thirty. First
it paged so an arena.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
That's yeah, man, it's gonna be a great time bring
this level of excitement to the shew. We appreciate you
starting or ending your night with us, and I'm gonna
put you on all to get all your information.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, okay, all right, thanks dude. Do you have pictures
of these shelves?

Speaker 7 (04:26):
I don't see why not?

Speaker 4 (04:28):
What do you mean you don't see why not?

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I mean I think I do.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Yeah, that is not the right phrasing for what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
If you have them. If you have them, we're gonna
post them in our Instagram stories.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
Oh here they are right here.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Okay, we're gonna post them and more. Kelsey Ballerini tickets tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Doing a poll or plunge.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Guys.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
We're very excited about it. It's one of seven five
of the River Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
Uh yeah, we briefly mentioned this last week on the air.
You were talking about it in Three Things.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Yes, the music City Pull Plunge. It's for the Special
Olympics Tennessee.

Speaker 9 (05:03):
I think that I'm only excited because it benefits such
a cool cause. There's like over eighteen thousand kiddos that
are part of the Special Olympics of Middle Tennessee. So
the money that we're raising while doing the cold the
Polar Bear Plunge.

Speaker 7 (05:14):
Is like going to a good cause.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
But I don't like being cold, so I'm not happy.

Speaker 9 (05:19):
I mean, me said specific because Kevin has a cold
plunge at home, like he's used to this.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Ricky and I are not.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Still no, I mean even I've done many cold plunges.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I enjoy the sensation once you get out, you feel
good afterwards, and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
It is going to be very cold out when we
do this.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
You know it's happening next month, and yeah, no, no
one's excited about the cold.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Element of it. But it's like it's a thrill and
it's for a great cause.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
It is for a great cause. So we did create
a little group and we're really.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Excited about it. All of our significant others are a
part of it as well, which I think is really cool.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
Mine only said yes because y'all said.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yes, A specifically was saying even before we agreed to
do it that he wanted to do it. Okay, so
he was right on board, so ready for it. I
think it's really great. It's gonna be a fun, little
bonding experience for all of us, and like we keep saying,
for a good cause. So the way that you can
get involved is by donating to our pledge.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
We're trying to raise five hundred dollars.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Which I think we can do as a group with
your help. Each one of us, every single person that
wants a plunge, has to get seventy five dollars in
order to actually jump in the cold water.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
So we need your help in order.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
To do that because every single one of us needs
to get in that cold water.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Specifically, Zach, if everybody listening right now gave one dollar,
we would have ten million dollars.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Wow, a lot of money, a lot of people.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
Kevin.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
I am gonna post our groups our fundraiser up on
one of seven five the River's Instagram page and the stories,
so you can click on there.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
You can donate, even if it's just a.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Dollar, if it's fifty cents, whatever it is, we will
take it. We are so excited to be a part
of this and to give back to our community.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah, I can't wait. You know, do we all go
at the same time, like jump in a pool? I
think you do.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
I believe we're all going together because I have scheduled
us all for the earliest time. Okay, team captain, And
that's what I got to do, don't you do.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
We have to do this.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
You have to do it bright and early on this
Saturday morning.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
The reason why I made it the earliest time because
you also you get a beer tent ticket so afterwards
you can go get a drink.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
Why I didn't you start this with that?

Speaker 4 (07:26):
The method to the madness, Zach, I'm here for you.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
And also, we don't want to jump in a dirty
tub that a bunch of people have been in all.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Think about that?

Speaker 5 (07:33):
But great, great notes?

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Where again can we send people to donate if they can.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
One O seven five the River's Instagram page, rite in
the stories. Also from there, if you want to create
your own team to raise your.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Own money, you could also do that.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Yes, Happy February twenty second, so there's time for you
to sign up. Still three things you need to know just.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Past seven o'clock on this Thursday morning. Thank you so
much for starting your day with us. We really do
appreciate it. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
You're probably wondering. What's gonna happen to TikTok this Sunday.
As of right now, the plan is for it to
be banned in the US, So TikTok has an update
for us. They said it's going to shut down the
app entirely on Sunday and direct users to a website
for more info.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
That's literally all they said to us.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
But if you have the app downloaded, that's it's just
going to kind of stay on your phone. It's never
gonna work. You won't be able to download the app
after Sunday though.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
So if you wanted to randomly.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Just see what happens, it's just not gonna let you.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
And don't worry.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
If you already have it, you're not going to get
in trouble or anything. The new law targets distributors like
Apple and Google, not individuals themselves.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
So if you have it on your phone, you're.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
Not gonna get in trouble. There's not gonna be like
somebody knocking.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
On your door randomly.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
I know, a lot of this is just the unknown,
because I think this is the first time ever that
something this large has happened about.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
An app where it's been banned.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
So just some things to keep in mind. It just
won't work on Sunday. You're gonna try to open it
up and it's nothing's gonna happ him. Jelly Roll's Broadway
Bar officially opens to the public tonight.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
Yes, jelly rolls good Night Nashville, right next door to Bootleggers.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
It has a floor dedicated to his wife, which I
think is really adorable and totally makes sense if you
know anything about jelly Roll and Bunny. They love each
other so much and are obsessed with each other, and
I love this idea. He also has an area named
Buddy's back Room after his late father, which is really
amazing as well. He is the first national native with
his own bar on Broadway, which is a wild stat

(09:31):
to think of because obviously a lot of people think
about Nashville, and they think about country music, they think
about Broadway, all of those things are kind of synonymous
with each other, and the fact that nobody native to
Nashville has a Broadway bar wild crazy. Until tonight, excited
to check this out.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Really me too.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
I can't wait to go and see everything there. And
this is really cool. Guys. The Sun has dropped a
new album. And I know that sounds crazy, but we
now know what it sounds like up there through that
glowing death trap.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
What it sounds like.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
So, the way space works, you'll never actually be able
to hear the Sun because it's just a big vacuum.
It's not it doesn't have sound waves, they don't travel
like they do on Earth. It's just one big vacuum.
But scientists have found a way to convert three years
of solar flares into an audio and visual clip. So
it makes it so that we could hear the sound

(10:22):
that the sun.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
May still don't understand, but I've.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
Got to be honest with you, but this is what
the sound sun, the Sun.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
The Sun sounds like. What isn't that crazy?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Yeah, I'm even more confused.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
It kind of sounds like low fi music that you
would find on your phone to like relax to all. Yeah,
like spam music or somebody, isn't that wild?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
That's the Sun? That is the Sun.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
So that's what the.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Sun sounds crazy.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
So now we we just need the other planets to
get on board.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
What does the moon sound like? I don't know. Does
it make any noise?

Speaker 4 (11:10):
It probably doesn't make any noise. Crazy stuff. I'm Ricky
Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Thank you for that, Ricky. I was not expecting to
hear the sun today.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
Thanks so, I'm here for a full surprises.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Right after I had some help zaxx facts He's standby,
he said, he's got a great one on this Thursday morning.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
We're all getting smarter together.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
Next Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one
O seven.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Five the river.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Let's see if Zach's factx can beat out the way
the sun sounds from three things.

Speaker 9 (11:37):
Well, this is specifically for Kevin. Did you guys know
that chickpeas and almonds contain almost as much protein as
a steak?

Speaker 2 (11:44):
I sure did. Oh yeah, we boasted. Don't get me
started on this thing.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
People think, because I'm a vegetarian, how do you get
your protein? I'm gonna punch you in the mouth.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
If you ask me that. There's so many protein and
so many things.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Just got so so quickly he did.

Speaker 9 (12:02):
So, if you're also a vegetarian, you can answer the
question now with chickpeas and almonds, and that's your fact
of the day, Kevin, go sit down and take a breath.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
I Ricky am trying to plan a wedding. It's not
very easy.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
But because I'm planning a wedding, I.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Spend a lot of time on like Reddit and Pinterest,
in all of these random places, so I know the
dues and don'ts. There's a wedding shaming forum on Reddit.

Speaker 9 (12:28):
Ooh, I want to read all of it, and the
tea on there is crazy.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
There's this story that I saw and I wanted to
bring it to you guys because it's that wild. There's
a person who spent two thousand dollars to go to
one of her friend's weddings, which is a lot of money.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
That's a lot, yeah, a lot of money.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
She said it was totally worth it. She was really
excited to spend the day with her friend. But literally,
like recently, a year later after the wedding, she got
an email from the bride's assistant, like her work is assistant,
reminding her that she had not given the newlyweds a
wedding gift yet and it's been a year.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
A year later you get wow, and this is a friend,
a friend at her assistant reach out and say, hey,
where's my gift?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (13:15):
How crazy is that?

Speaker 6 (13:17):
So?

Speaker 5 (13:17):
My thing is?

Speaker 4 (13:19):
Is the bride taxi for asking for a gift a
year later? Or is the wedding guest TACKI for never
giving a gift?

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Okay, I'll bite my tongue on this. We'll open this up.
Six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
I have a strong opinion. I'm guessing you have a
strong opinion.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
Yeah, I want to know who's wrong in this situation.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Zach has a strong opinion about everything, always soccer.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
We'll share. But what's your what's your take?

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven
let us know one.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
O seven five Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning, Kenzie.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
And Clarksville, how do you feel about this situation? Is
the bride TACKI for asking for a gift a year
later from the wedding guest? Or is the wedding guest
tacky for never buying the bride a gift to begin with?

Speaker 8 (14:02):
Well as someone who's bridesmaids never showed up to my wedding. Yes,
I can kind of see it both ways. We had
a very cheap wedding in my parents' backyard, so a
gift would have been nice, especially knowing if the person
wasn't going to come. But it sounds like that person came.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah, she went.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
She paid two thousand dollars to be there. I'm guessing
she had a traveler. There was a hotel involved or something.
So in my opinion, if you're spending that much money
to attend the wedding, I mean, a gift is not mandatory, right, I.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Would let that fly.

Speaker 8 (14:36):
You sent money out of your own pocket to come,
which is a lot more than my bridesmaids ever did
so right.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
I'm also so sorry Mackenzie that that happened to you.
That's really unfortunate and not fair.

Speaker 8 (14:48):
It's okay, it didn't work out anyway. It so it
worked out for the best.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Yeah, things always happened for a reason, right, positivity, Right,
Thank you for calling, Mackenzie.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
We appreciate you. We hope you have a great day.

Speaker 8 (14:59):
Thank you too.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
I love.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Let's hear from a dude Brandon in Nashville. Good morning,
what do you think of this wedding fiasco.

Speaker 10 (15:06):
Well, of course, everybody's gonna have their own opinions. But
I think they're both in the wrong because most people
do give gifts during a wedding, especially family, But for
the lady to want to ask for a gift a
year later, I think both sides are being a little
tacky because it's a give and take.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Do you think they're both taxed?

Speaker 4 (15:29):
I do think they're both tacky. You can't ask for
a gift a year lead. I'm with you on that one,
as we shouldn't ask for a gift to begin with,
to know going into it, like I'm going into wedding
planning knowing I'm not going to get a gift from everybody.
But that's not going to make me not invite you
to my wedding if you are there.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
I'm with you. Do you think it's tacky that they
didn't give a gift?

Speaker 11 (15:49):
Though?

Speaker 4 (15:49):
No, I think sometimes you know, life is expensive, it's
gotten expensive. The whole idea is supposed to be that
you're surrounded by your loved ones, not that you're getting
money or gifts. My presence is your presence exactly, So
I would Brandon just be.

Speaker 10 (16:02):
In there should be, you know, the important thing.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
So right, absolutely, thank you so much for calling Brandon.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
We hope you have a great day.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
Thank you, Ny one seven five the River.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
Niky, Zach and Nno in the morning, summer in Bowling Green,
Welcome to one oh seven five the River. Who do
you think is being tacky in this situation?

Speaker 9 (16:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (16:21):
I think the bride and be in tacking. I think
if you need a gift that then you probably shouldn't
be sending money on a wedding. Just go to the
courthouse and be married.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
That's a good call, a good way to look at it,
I guess.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
But to have your assistant reach out to a quote
unquote friend a year later and say where's my gift,
that's the end of that friendship.

Speaker 11 (16:42):
Yeah, oh yeah, I would say she's probably not a
good friend to begin with. So if I was the
friend that was getting the email, yeah, to cut.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Ties, I get both Like this is why I agreed
with Brandon, And I don't know if I actually clearly
said this, but I do get why it's tacky to
not have a gift at a wedding, Like I personally
would feel terrible.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Not giving a gift at a wedding.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
So I know, like I get that aspect, but I
really do just feel like the whole idea is to
be surrounded by loved ones.

Speaker 11 (17:14):
And I think if you're keeping tabs on who got
your gifts and who didn't, that's a little.

Speaker 10 (17:19):
Little much, Zach.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
I know you have an opinion.

Speaker 7 (17:21):
I just feel like the bride is a spoiled brat.

Speaker 9 (17:23):
I feel like the wedding was specifically for gifts that
she doesn't even care about her husband, She doesn't care
about the entire ceremony. She just wanted gifts and she
wanted all of the attention on her to like have
a destination wedding where someone had to pay two thousand dollars.

Speaker 7 (17:38):
Like, you're already being a big old brat.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
And this is not to yuck anyone's yum. If you
want to spend a lot of money on your wedding,
that's fine, But there is something that you know, a
lot of people say that when you spend a lot
of money, typically it's not for the actual marriage, it's
for the party, and you're gonna end up getting divorced.
I will say that the way that this story ended
in the forum is that they're getting divorced.

Speaker 7 (18:01):
See because she's such a.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Brash called it.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Yeah, Summer, thank you so much for calling in and
telling us your opinion.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Thank you, Thank you, Summer.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Ricky, do you want a life hack here for getting
gifts at your wedding?

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Invite a bunch of like find the addresses of like
the richest people, like billionaires around Nashville, send them an invitation,
and they'll have their assistant be like, do you.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Want to go to this wedding. They'll be like, oh, no,
I don't know, and they'll think they know you, but
they don't know you, but they'll send a gift.

Speaker 5 (18:30):
Genius.

Speaker 7 (18:31):
This is actually such a good idea.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Yeah, done deal.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
I'm one hundred percent doing that. You have literally never
been smarter in your life.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Heaven, thank you for that. It feels good. The only
compliment she's ever given me. Want to play the game
of the day next down the River.

Speaker 6 (18:45):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
Tickets are up for Grass or Kevin Mano's Game of
the Day on one oh seven five the River. We're
playing real or Fake Bonnaroo Band, which is actually one
of my favorite Kevin Mano Games.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Thanks Ricky.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
I love this game. It's so fun.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Let's say good morning to Josh and Bowling Green. How
you doing, buddy, Hey.

Speaker 7 (19:06):
I'm doing good.

Speaker 10 (19:06):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
How are you all?

Speaker 2 (19:08):
We're good man.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Have you looked at that Bonnaroo lineup to sort of
try to familiarize yourself with some of those small print
bands to give yourself a better chance here.

Speaker 10 (19:16):
I've attimpted to, but I'm nervous that I'm not gonna
have you.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
That's gonna matter any at all when it comes when
the rubber meets the road.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Well, the rubbers about to meet that road. We'll give
you some band names.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
You get two out of three of these, right the
Banneroo passes your years.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Okay, sounds good.

Speaker 10 (19:30):
Let's give it a shot at Gametown.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Baby Game, Baby Josh. Game starts right now.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Will the band the Wet Whistles be it Bonnaroo this year?

Speaker 11 (19:45):
They will not, That's correct, the fake one.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
I think Zach came up with that one. Road Trip
Hippie is road Trip Hippie gonna.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Be performing in Manchester, Tennessee in June of this year.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
No, everybody that was it.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
I was concerned on that one another another fake ben name,
both of those who are completely made up.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
So yeah, these tickets are yours. Awesome, Thank you all
so much.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
You're welcome and joy see people like Olivia Rodrigo, Hose
your tyler the creator. It's going to be a great time.
We're excited for you. Hang on the line so we
can get some info from you.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
Okay, well do thank you all.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Nice job. Josh you you crushed that that was easy?

Speaker 4 (20:27):
Are you getting sad that it's been easy for everybody?

Speaker 2 (20:30):
It has been a little easier than I expected. Yes,
you like to make.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
It kind of hard sometimes.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
I know. I thought these were good, man.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
We'll have to rethink this for tomorrow. I guess the
last chance of the week.

Speaker 6 (20:41):
Last chance.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Three things you need to know just past.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Eight o'clock on this Thursday morning.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
I'll you're having a nice one so far. Thank you
for being here. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
If you thought that Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef was done,
you would be wrong. Drake is now suing Universal Music
Group for defamation, spreading the quote fall and malicious narrative,
and for pushing Kendrick Lamar's not Like Us. He claims
the label promoted the track to devalue his brand and
give them leverage in future contract negotiations, and according to

(21:12):
the suit, UMG paid a third party to use bots
to increase the song streams by at least thirty million,
and engage in a quote pay for play scheme with
at least one radio promoter, which I will tell you
right now is illegal.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Sure, we can't be doing those things.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
Everyone thought that this was all over after Drake filed
a motion to drop legal action that he filed against
UMG and Spotify and New York State Court. But apparently
that was just done so that he could clear the
way for this new federal case.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
So it is far from over.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
And Kendrick is about to be on the Super Bowl
halftime show state yes, probably performing that song.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
So I will let you know as things unfold where
exactly this is going to go. The FDA had a
busy day yesterday. They banned red dye number three from
food and drinks due to cancer risks.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
So manufacturers using.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
The red dye in food and ingested drugs have until
January fifteenth, twenty twenty seven, and January eighteenth twenty twenty eight, respectively,
in order to reformulate their products according to the FDA,
and foods important to the US also have to comply
with these requirements. They're also now proposing that nutrition info

(22:24):
be placed on the front of packaged foods, specifically three things,
so it wouldn't be the entire thing that you see
on the back. It would be saturated fat, sodium, and
added sugars, along with a rating for each classifying them
as low, medium, or high. That part is just a
proposal for now, and even if it does get approved
later this year, food companies would obviously have years in

(22:46):
order to comply with this. But these are all great things,
all good.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Things that the FDA are doing.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
So I'm very happy to tell you that News and
Nashville see they have announced their themed nights for this season.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
I love this.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
They're going to have a Barbie Game Day on March eighth,
Pride Night, May seventeenth, Military Appreciation May thirty first, Hispanic
Heritage Night September twenty seventh, along with a bunch of
other ones. The full lineup for their theme nights is
up on their website and also on their social media accounts.
Their season starts the end of February. I'm Murky Sanchez,
and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
Ricky Zach and Meadow in the morning on one of
seven five the River.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
Zach, you went on an infuriating lunch date the other
day with your friend. You were ranting about it to
me last night.

Speaker 7 (23:32):
It's so bad.

Speaker 9 (23:33):
So we went out to lunch the other day and
I was like finished with my meal and she was
just still like picking at her food, eating so slowly.
I thought I was going to have a panic attack
because she was eating so slowly. And I put it
together in my head. I think it's because she's an
only child that she eats so slow.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
That's such a leap what NOA get it, Because.

Speaker 9 (23:55):
When you're an only child, like you don't have to
fight for your food from your siblings. Like growing up,
I'm one of eight children, we literally had to like, oh,
you're not done with your food yet, Like we would
eat off each other's plate.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Do you know how many things I've shoved in my
mouth so that my brother couldn't eat it.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (24:10):
I think it's because she's an only child that I
was like, oh my god, I'm gonna lose it right here.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
So then we were talking about signs that people are
only children, like that, what of them?

Speaker 5 (24:23):
So we want to know what are some signs that
you think of and you go, oh, that person's clearly
an only child.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
This is gonna be very educational for me because I'm
I don't know, I don't. I still don't get the
food thing.

Speaker 9 (24:33):
There is definitely a vibe when you meet somebody that's
an only child, they have only child.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
And I'm super curious. Now, yeah, what you think is
a you know, part of the vibe of an only child.
I maybe if you are an only child, you could
probably weigh on this better than anybody.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
Yeah, I got a feed because my dad's an only child.
And who does that man have only child syndrome?

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Oh for real?

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Oh yeah, Okay, excited to hear what people have to say.
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on seven
Tanya in Portland tell us some signs that you're an
only child.

Speaker 11 (25:05):
I am not, but my son is and he is not.
I was listening to the food thing and my son shovels.

Speaker 10 (25:12):
Food like I've never said him before in his life.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
See, yeah, I'm okay, I'm with you because the slowest
eater I know is my wife's brother, and he's not
an only child, he's her brother. So I don't know
that that example necessarily checks out for me.

Speaker 9 (25:27):
I think it does because like a lot of times,
they have difficulties sharing if you're an only child, so
they're trying to like make sure that they eat their
own food at their own pace. They've never had to
have siblings like come up and try and steal their
food off their place.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
Okay, but Tanya, because you have a kid who is an.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
Only child, have you noticed anything that you would.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Be like, Ah, that's clearly because you're an only child.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (25:48):
Yeah, the non sharing thing or the non like thinking
about someone else needing.

Speaker 10 (25:54):
To use something or do something. Oh, he's just like,
it's just.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
Tell me kind of you could use the word so
that okay, Yeah, yeah, that she.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Doesn't want who say it?

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Okay?

Speaker 10 (26:06):
Yeah make sense?

Speaker 5 (26:08):
Yeah, no, but that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
Because they've never had to like share with anybody else,
so they always just think about themselves because they never
had to think about anybody else.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
It's not intentional, they're not doing it on purpose to
hurt anybody. It's just the way they're wired, right, that
they never had to.

Speaker 8 (26:21):
Share nothing with nobody, but this eating thing, I don't know.

Speaker 12 (26:24):
He shovels food in and his friend looked.

Speaker 5 (26:26):
For him, like, you can take your.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Timeana, thank you so much for calling in and giving
us a thank you.

Speaker 9 (26:34):
We love you, thank you, love you.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
What else do you have? You have more examples?

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Yeah, Because my dad's an only child, and I tell
him all the time, oh my god, you have only
child sin.

Speaker 7 (26:44):
He is a special kind of a man, so much money.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
For sure does so, Like, for instance, he's very content
with being alone for long periods of time, Okay, And
I think that's because he's an only child, because I
spent so much of my life with my little brother,
Like everything I did, he wanted to be a part of.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
I respect that that's a good skill to have to
be able to just be alone for a long time
for sure.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
So I was never alone, and then when I got
to a period of time when I was alone, it
freaked me out, Like I don't like to be alone.

Speaker 7 (27:14):
I mean that makes sense.

Speaker 9 (27:15):
I get really bored really easily when I'm alone because
I'm used to having all of these siblings to play.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
So maybe those of us with siblings are codependently.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Right, Yeah, for sure, one hundred percent. The other thing
I noticed is like, my dad doesn't lock doors very often,
and I think it's because he's an only child.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
If I mentioned that I'm a robber, it's information.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
I locked the door to my apartment, but like inside
the home, like I would always lock my door to
my room, and then I get yelled at by my parents.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
Of like, can't lock your door. I'm like, well, Tyler and.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Sierra keep coming in my room and it's really bothering me, like.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
They won't leave me alone.

Speaker 7 (27:47):
So I always lock.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
My door bathroom, always lock it otherwise they want to
come in and the start brushing their teeth and I'm
doing my hair. It's a whole thing. So those are
some things I've noticed about my dad, at least if
that too.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
If you're an only child, if you can you know
way in six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one
oh seven, is it all add up?

Speaker 6 (28:04):
One O seven five The River.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Reiki and Zach and Menno in the morning, Holly and.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Gallatin, are you an only child?

Speaker 12 (28:10):
No?

Speaker 4 (28:11):
No, okay? So then what are some signs that you've
noticed about people who are only only children?

Speaker 12 (28:17):
I think, and it comes back down to sharing and everything.
But as far as like relationships, like only children demand
your attention more.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Oh, yes, if.

Speaker 12 (28:28):
I need to pay attention to work or other family
members or friends, or if I've got other people I
need to focus on, like they can't handle not being
your center attention.

Speaker 9 (28:41):
Interesting observation, and I think that's a good thing to remember,
Like when you're swiping through the dating apps, ask if.

Speaker 7 (28:46):
They have siblings, because that could be a red flag
for you.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
I feel bad that we are just bashing only none
of us. We all have siblings, including Holly, and we're
just kind of well.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
We also got to bash ourselves earlier. We're a little codependent,
we said, yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Said, being an only child is a red flag and
shouldn't been dated.

Speaker 7 (29:04):
Holly brought it up.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
It's just something to make note of.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
That's all not necessarily a red flag, but just.

Speaker 7 (29:09):
Knowing Bay's flag anywhere.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
Holly, thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
I let's say the things we like about only children.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
I love my dad.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
I love your dad too.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
He's an only child. And I love him.

Speaker 9 (29:25):
I really like that they have more time for me
because they don't have siblings.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Nicky, Zach and Mano. In the morning, it.

Speaker 5 (29:34):
Is time for a daily double tap.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
This is a video that we find that's either viral
or something that we think is funny or you know,
teaches you something and we share it with you.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
Kevin sent this to me. He didn't watch the whole video,
but that's fine.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
He's very funny. It's this guy talking to the weather app.
You know, you open the weather app and it says like, oh,
it's gonna be twenty twenty degrees today, but then it
says feels.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Like I don't understand that either. I consider my have
to be a fairly intelligent person. But if it feels
like it's eight, it's eight.

Speaker 5 (30:05):
Things like that, like going through the weather up here, it.

Speaker 6 (30:07):
Is yoh so man, how cold is it outside today?
It's twenty six degrees.

Speaker 10 (30:12):
But it feels like ever so it's eleven.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
Sh that's just a wind.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
The wind makes it feel like that.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
What is nice? Just reel is it gonna snow? It'll
start snowing? It to Pia not twenty.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Maybe not yeah, but you just said, oh, but that's
just how it feels.

Speaker 6 (30:29):
Is the air safe to breathe outside? Air quality is
good today, better.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Than yesterday, but yesterday it was like really bad.

Speaker 6 (30:36):
We don't know, it depends, it's just how it feels.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Yes, okay, yeah, all very accurate.

Speaker 7 (30:42):
It's so true.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
Honestly, that's what it seems like when you're trying to
figure out anything with the weather. It's just it's whatever
you feel like should be straightforward.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
It never is.

Speaker 6 (30:51):
Never One seven the
