Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Would you look at that?

Speaker 3 (00:03):
We've made it just after six o'clock on this Tuesday morning.
It's a little cold and rainy outside, so please be
careful going wherever you're going this morning. Netwricky Sanchez, but
Kevin Mana has three things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Thank you so much, Zach. Viewership was way up last
Thursday for the Macy's Thanksgiving the Parade on NBC. We're
watching in our house. It's a tradition as it is
for so many people. Thirty four point three million people
tuned in to watch it on NBC and Peacock Zach,
did you watch it?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I did? I watch it every single year.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Yeah, that is an all time viewership record for them.
That's up two and a half million people from last year.
And yeah, tradition in our house as well. Another holiday
parade news, the Murphy's Borough Christmas Parade is coming up.
It's happening Sunday the fourteenth. This year's theme is a
Sweet Christmas Floats, bands, dancers, all the stuff. It's all
gonna be out there again. Not this Sunday, but the

(00:54):
following Sunday. The parade makes its way down East Main
Street near MTSU, continues through downtown up on Walnut. It's
always a big one every year. In registration is now
open for anyone interested in joining in on the festive fun. Lastly,
here's something for your mental health. This is kind of obvious,
but it's still important to hear. According to a new study,
a week long break from social media is going to

(01:17):
do wonders for your overall well being. You don't have
to ditch it completely, but participants in this study cut
their screen time down from two hours a day to
thirty minutes a day, and they saw a dramatic decrease
in anxiety and depression symptoms. That's huge. Depression symptoms drop
by twenty four point eight percent. It also helped with insomnia.
So if you prioritize your mental health, maybe consider a

(01:38):
social media detox at some point. But first before you do,
follow us on Instagram and TikTok at one oh seventy
five through River.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
I love this story because Kevin's telling it, and this
man would crawl out of his skin if he didn't
have it, if he had only had his phone for
thirty minutes a week.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
You're right, You're right, you.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Would, you would go crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I don't think that I need the social media though
I like the uh. I don't know why it's a
tactile things having my phone there, but I could probably
if you if you removed Instagram and Twitter from my phone,
I think it'd be okay. Okay, filled my time with
other stuff, but I would like to try to cut
screen time down in general.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, mine's bad.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Yeah, it's not good anyway. There you know three things
you now know. We're just getting things started on this
Tuesday morning. Thank you for joining us. We're playing Pick
your Package. In about ten minutes, we'll ask you to call.
We still got a bunch of great stuff under the tree.
We just started the game yesterday, so within ten your
chance to play.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
On the river pick your Package on.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Time to play. You shouldn't be nervous, Christy, you should
be excited. It's Christy and Columbia on the line. Welcome
to the show, Christy. How are you feeling this morning?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Okay, good Christy.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
We have twenty eight packages left underneath our tree for
Pick your Package. Is there anything specific that you were
looking to win?

Speaker 6 (02:52):
Anything?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
But line? Okay, good news that one is already taken.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yeah, we gave that away yesterday. We've still got you
know ed Shearon tickets. And here we've got an Apple Watch.
We've got Meghan train tickets, Harry Apron, Harry Belly Apron.
It's all in there. You're paying attention. Did you go
to the website? Do you know which packages are no
longer in play? Okay, she is ready, she's ready, So Christy,
whenever you're ready, pick your package.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
I want twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Twenty seven, all right, Zach's getting it. He's picking it up.
Rip it open, buddy, Christie.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I love this one.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Honestly, it's the people of Walmart Adult Coloring Book.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Well, no, thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I think you've made the right choice here. So now,
people paying attention at home know that number twenty seven
has the people of Walmart Adult Coloring Book. We're putting
that back under the tree. One more number, Christy, This
is your last pick.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Oh gosh, number five.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Number five? Okay, Zach s get what's a heavy one?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Rip that open, buddy. Oh this is a big one. Oh, Christy,
this is sick. You got a record player?

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Okay, that's good.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Yeah, that's pretty cool. I'd be happy with the record player.
Vinyl is in these days, it's back, and congratulations, you
get yourself a nice, brand new record player. Thank you,
you got it. Hang on so we can get all
your information, okay.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Like she was disappointed in the record player a little bit.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Uh yeah, you know, it's a record player.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
It's good, it's pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
And now it's no longer in play, so number five gone. Also,
we all know that number twenty seven is the people
of Walmart adult coloring book.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I love that so much.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
I kind of want to get one for you for Christmas.
You love it so much.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I want one Kevin nine to twenty this morning.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Your next chance to play nine twenty, and then one
twenty and then four to twenty. Okay, so those are
the four times I mean, including right now. Yeah, you
have four chances a day. And again, make sure you're
you're looking at the website, checking the website to see
which packages are still in play. One oh seven five
the River.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
Dot Com Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
On good morning. Today is Giving Tuesday. I said a
second ago that I want to give a shout out
to somebody in my life, a personal hero of mine.
And this makes sense when I tell you who it is.
It's gonna make sense, but I wanted to highlight the
good deeds this person does.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Okay, go ahead and tell me who this hero is.
I'm ready, I'm sitting up, I'm perked up.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I'm ready.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Kep Zach, of course you are a personal hero of mine,
but in this instance, I am referring to Gary Manna,
my dad.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I knew you were gonna say your dad.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
I just he is seventy seven years old. He turns
seventy eight in like two weeks. I talked to him
on the phone every day when I'm driving into work.
It's early. He's an early riser. But this morning. They
live up in northwest Indiana, and this morning he was
up at like three am snow blowing the entire neighborhoods,
what sidewalks and driveways. That's what he does. They got
a lot of snow last night. This is their third
big snow so far this year. They've been hit hard,

(05:44):
and he's out there every time it snows, snow blowing
the entire street.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I would absolutely want to live in his neighborhood because
then I don't have to do it. He's taking care
of it, and you wake up and it's like Christmas morning.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yeah, seventy seven years old. He's out there doing I
just I thought that, you know, I wanted to tip
my cap to him pub because that is just amazing
and impressive if you ask me, and I know I'm
biased because he's my dad.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
No, I think it is amazing and impressive. I won't
wouldn't even do that. At thirty three years old, he's
over twice. My agent is out there laying the game.
So good job, Gary Manner.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
I'm very impressed.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
I'm proud of him. He's a good person. He's a
great neighbor obviously. But yeah, I just thought on this
Giving Tuesday day about generosity, it'd be a good day
to acknowledge.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yeah, it doesn't have to be financial.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
It can be literally anything to help someone else's life be.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
A little bit easier.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Correct. Yeah, especially, I mean, I know the whole point
of giving Tuesdays coming off of the holidays, you know,
and Black Friday, Cyber Monday, all these things about consuming.
So today is a good day to give back. And
like Zach said, whatever way you can.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I could not love your father anymore.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
When you said a personal hero, I knew you were
gonna say him, But I was so cautiously optimistic you
were gonna say me.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Well you did, I did say. I put an answer
that you're definitely a hero of mine.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Three days you need to know, well.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Thank you so much for starting your day with us.
We really do appreciate you. Now, Ricky Sanchez today, but
Kevin Manow has three things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Thank you, my friend, Zach. It's election day in Tennessee.
Get out and vote if you haven't already. As President
Trump said, the whole world is watching this race. He
is not wrong. It's a big one as we gear
up for the twenty twenty six midterm elections. It's a
special election for the state seventh District, a House seat
long held by Republicans. Republican Matt Van Epps is going
up against Democrat Afton Vain. Both parties are looking for

(07:30):
momentum going into the midterm, so again, this is a
biggie get out there and vote. I'm not sure how
much truth there is to this, but the rumors are
swirling that Disney is looking at Taylor Swift as a
future princess. This all started with some industry insider posting quote,
Disney wants Taylor swift to play at Disney Princess. That's
all we know. There was no specific character or project mentioned,

(07:51):
but that's the word on the world Wide Web at
the moment. And we know she has a good relationship
with Disney because she has a new special premiering on
Disney Plus on the twelfth. The eras to the final shows,
we'll see if that relationship continues. Lastly, Oxford just announced
their word of the Year for twenty twenty five and
it's rage bait. What Over thirty thousand people voted on

(08:12):
this rage bait. The fact that they chose two words
as their word of the year is kind of rage
bait if you asking this, kind of infuriating. But yeah,
let me find the definition of it. Online content deliberately
designed to elicit anger or outrage by being frustrating, provocative,
or offensive, typically posted in order to increase traffic or

(08:32):
engagement with a particular web page or social media account.
That is a definition of rage bait. Something designed to
trigger you. Basically, and again, according to Language Data, usage
of the term rage bait has tripled in the last
twelve months, so it's getting more common. Rage bait.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
If you scroll through TikTok. That's basically all that it
is is rage bait.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Yeah, same with pretty much every social media play these days.
There you go, three things you now know. We're getting
back into the music with Miles Smith and we're all
learning together. In mere minute, it's time for Zack's Facts.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
Next wake up Happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno in
the morning on.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
Seven five the River. Every day about this time we
learn together. Zach is the smartest person I've ever met
in my life, and every day he has a different fact.
It's Zack's Facts.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
I like it when you butter up to me, Kevin,
whatever you did, keep doing it.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
But this is kind of freaky.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
The deepest part of the ocean is approximately thirty five thousand,
eight hundred and seventy six feet down.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Would this be the Marianna's Trench whatever that is, Okay,
I think it is.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
But that's like almost six point eight miles deep, and
that is terrifying to me. And if you think about it,
like thirty five thousand feet is typically like where an
airplane is flying, like when they're just like flying.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Through the air.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
That deep down into the water. That gives me goosebumps.
All the way down my spine, and there's your fact.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
They say that we know more about outer space than
we do about the deepest parts of the ocean, which
is just terrifying.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
I don't like that at all.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Okay, thanks for making us all very uncomfortable this morning, Zach.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
You're so welcome. There's your fact of the day.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
One oh seven five.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
The River, Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
We have a question for you. We just we sort
of want to take a poll right now. Here's the question.
Is Home Alone a must watch in your house this
time of year? Whether it is or it's not, we
want to hear from you. Six one, five, seven, three
seven nine one oh seven. We were talking about Home
Alone recently. I was raving about it because it's one
of my faves, and Ricky and Zach made me feel
like I'm one hundred years old talking about some black

(10:28):
and white movie.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
What because you said it transcends generations, and I was like, no,
one doesn't like No one cares about it as much
as you do.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Not true. I genuinely think kids are just as passionate
about Home Alone today as they were the year it
came out.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
I don't believe that's be accurate.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
Where do you stand on Home Alone?

Speaker 5 (10:46):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Is it old and outdated? Or is it still relevant
today in twenty twenty five?

Speaker 6 (10:50):
Let us know one oh seven five.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
The River, Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning the.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
River we're talking about Home Alone? Is Home Alone still
as relevant today as it was when it came out?
I say yes, Zach and Ricky both say no, isn't it?
How old are you?

Speaker 7 (11:06):
I'm fourteen?

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Fourteen? Okay, what are your your thoughts on Home Alone?

Speaker 7 (11:09):
I think Home Alone is a must watch. It's probably
one of the greatest Christmas movies to ever be released,
and it's amusing. Even if you're older, then you watch
it when you're six, and then when you're fourteen, yeah,
or you an adult, you still enjoy it every single time.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Very well said, except for the fact that he just
said when you're fourteen like an adult.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
That is not adult. Hey, he's he's when you're fourteen
or like an adult or an adult. Yeah. I just
don't think that that's true.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
But like, I can't deny how you feel ish ne
like this is you're fourteen and you say.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Yes, yeah, so thank you for calling. We appreciate that.

Speaker 7 (11:46):
Okay, thank you, thank.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
You, my friend.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Let's go to Savannah in Hendersonville, Savannah. What are your
thoughts on Home Alone?

Speaker 1 (11:53):
I'm watching it today actually.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Okay, your family?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I watch you every year, Savan. Are you watching it
with a family or is it something you do on
your own?

Speaker 5 (12:02):
Like?

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Is it your tradition? So kind of both.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
I'll watch it with my kids, but I'm putting my
tree up today and I'm gonna watch it.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Okay. I love it. And do your kids like it? Yes?

Speaker 1 (12:14):
I have an eighteen year old and a five year
old and I like them both watch it.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
So in other words, it transcends generations.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yes, whatever. I just don't think it's accurate like it.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
I think that's true. I think that. Yeah. Ricky and
Zach for whatever reason, just don't like Home Alone.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I liked Home Alone when I was younger.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
It's still great. Still holds up.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
It was came out before I was born.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
I know, but that doesn't matter. It's still it holds
up perfectly. Thank you for calling, uh and best of luck.
Set up for tree today, Marry christ I we'll talk
to one more Zach. Maybe Easton will agree with you
Easton your thoughts on Home Alone.

Speaker 7 (12:53):
Must have, must watch it.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Yeah, but my my go to.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
For Christmas news is Rudolph L. Christmas Chronicles. Oh you
got a hole, dude, then you're ready for Christmas?

Speaker 7 (13:10):
And in uh Frosty and then.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
I think we're good. We got the point here. I mean,
Home Alone is somewhere low on the list.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
No, we watched. That was probably the first movie that
we watched a Christmas.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Okay, here's my I have come to a consensus now,
since we've had two children and one adult. My consensus
is that the adults are forcing their children to watch this.
They get they're will they're tying them down, and they're
making them watch Home Alone.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I think probably older parents are used to watching it.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
That's why the younger kids are still watching it.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
Yeah, because they make them. But it still holds up.
It's like if you watch it, you don't think, oh,
this is an old movie. It's like it's very much.

Speaker 5 (13:49):
It's a great one, just like uh Sandlot, Yes.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
The sande Okay, now we're not talking about Christmas now,
we're just talking about movies in general. But I agree
with you all right, well, thank you for calling. We
appreciate you in put you guys have a great holiday season.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Mary Chris, Mary Chris, Christmas.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
If you want to join the conversation at six one five, seven, three,
seven nine, one oh seven. But Zach, that feels pretty
unanimous to me.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
I mean, you can feel however you want.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
It's not my fault that they have a lack of
modern technology in this movie.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
It just feels so out of dat and old to me.

Speaker 6 (14:15):
Okay, god O.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Seven the River, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
One oh seven, five the River. Cindy is on the
line right now. She wants to Yella Zach about his
opinions on Home Alone. Cindy, the floor is yours.

Speaker 6 (14:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
So, I'm have an eight year old daughter and she
watches that movie more than she watched k Pak Samen Honor.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
She loves it. I will say that was saying a lot.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
That is saying a lot. And Zach, the just the uh,
the conceit the premise of a child outsmarting these two
bumbling idiots and and them getting hit in the face
and their head's getting like kids are always gonna love that.
That's all.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Now you're promoting danger.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Absolutely light year old.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
She's a little rough girl, so yeah, she's all for it.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
So I like Home Alone, Like I like it as
a movie.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Here's my problem with it is that it's so old
fashioned and outdated. The implausibility of its entire premise in
today's world is just not real.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Like I feel like maybe people love Yeah we're in Portland.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
I feel like the only reason that people like really
love it is because of the nostalgia of the movie.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
No, everything about it's to go to Christmas.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Movie for I cannot believe you guys are promoting such
dangerous things for your children.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Okay, all right, It's impossible to win an argument against Zach,
but thank you for trying, Cindy. I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Have a good morning, Merry Christmas.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Sorry Christmas. We've got more MGK tickets. We've We've got
these all week with the Game of the Day. You
can win them. Next down the River for.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Seven five the River, it's Kevin Man Who's Game of
the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds. We were playing a
new one called Zachronyms this week for MGK tickets because
MGK is you know, three letters stands for machine gun Kelly,
So that's kind of the idea behind the game. Let's
say good morning to Kayla and Hermitage. How you doing.

Speaker 6 (16:00):
I'm great?

Speaker 7 (16:01):
How are you guys?

Speaker 4 (16:03):
No complaints at all? How you feeling this holiday season?
You're getting everything ready?

Speaker 7 (16:07):
Oh, getting everything ready, spending all the money, doing.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
All the things. Oh that's what I like to hear.
Spend that money. Honey.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
We are going to get into the on the second here.
But did you get any good deals for either Black
Friday or Cyber Monday? I did my son.

Speaker 7 (16:20):
He's already in class, so I got him a switch
that was on a pretty good sale, and the games
and all that I ordered last night for Cyber Monday.

Speaker 6 (16:27):
So that's a pretty good deal.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Good job, well done. Hopefully you can walk away with
some tickets to see MGK. He's playing Bridgestone two weeks
from tonight. Okay, all right, Zach is standing by. He
will recite a sentence. It has three acronyms in it.
If you can identify two of them, the tickets are your, Zach,
take it away.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Okay, Kayla.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
The CEO asked the it department to fix it by EOD.

Speaker 7 (16:52):
Okay this chief executive officer.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Okay, we got one.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
We got one, okay, EO the end of day.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Three.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Do you happen to know what it stands for?

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Something to do with computers?

Speaker 6 (17:10):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
If it makes you feel better. You and I were
on the same page when Kevin sent me this. I
had no idea that it stood for information technology.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
I didn't really know that either.

Speaker 7 (17:20):
I was gonna say that.

Speaker 5 (17:22):
I just didn't want to.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
It's a great answer. Congratulations and new enough to get
these tickets. You're gonna go see MGK.

Speaker 7 (17:30):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (17:32):
I love you guys.

Speaker 7 (17:33):
I listen every morning, so thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Tayla, we love you more. That's gonna just make me cry.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Yeah, you're the best. Thank you for Thank you for
being here for listening. Have a great holiday season, and
have fun at the show.

Speaker 7 (17:45):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Three things you need to know?

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Well, good morning and happy Tuesday. A little bit past
eight o'clock. No Ricky Sanchez today, but Kevin Mano has
three things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Yes, I do, Thank you. Zach Is Miley Cyrus engaged.
She's got everyone talking this morning after walking a red
carpet with a big old ring on that finger. She
was out last night at the world premiere of the
New Avatar movie in La She was with her boyfriend
or possibly fiance, Max Morando, and yeah, she had the ring.
The two of them were first linked four years ago
December of twenty twenty one, and they went public with

(18:17):
their relationship a few months later. And now they may
be one step closer to matrimony. By the way, Miley
has a new song on that movie soundtrack, the New
Avatar movie. That's why she was out there last night.
I've got good news for her friends in Nolansville. You're
getting at Chipotle. Yes, Chipotle's first ever Nolansville location opens
this week Thursday, to be exact, It's at the Village

(18:39):
Green shopping center there on Nolansville Road. We love us
and Chipotle over here also a bonus and new Chipotle
not only means great food, but new jobs. If you're
in the area and you're looking for work, you can
apply at jobs dot Chipotle dot com. And again, it
opens this Thursday morning at ten forty five.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
And by the way, just real quick, my Chipotle hack
that I feel like none ever, her he knows about
if you get a veggie bowl, you know, no meat. Yeah,
guac is free. You know everybody knows guac is extra.
It's not if you go save those two bucks, if
you go veggie mode. Lastly, today is Giving Tuesday. I
just gave you that helpful tip about getting free guak.
It's a global movement celebrating generosity, whatever that looks like

(19:18):
for you. Generosity in any way. I know money is
tight for a lot of people, but generosity in any
form is what today is all about. Last year, Americans
donated a record breaking three point six billion dollars on
Giving Tuesday. That is a huge number. Giving Tuesday was
created in twenty twelve. It's always the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
You know, you got Black Friday and Cyber Monday days
designed around consumerism. So it's nice to follow us up

(19:42):
at the day about giving back, the most generous day
of the year, as they call it. If you can
give anything at all today, please do join the movement.
And hey, coming up a little later this hour, we
want to hear about like creative ways to express generosity
and give back whatever it might be. Maybe you can
inspire others to do the same. There you go. Three
things you now.

Speaker 6 (20:01):
Know Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
The river talking about creative ways to give back to
spread generosity. Doesn't always have to involve money, No, not
at all. Lots of things we can do. I mentioned
giving blood a minute ago, Zach, what would what would
you suggest?

Speaker 3 (20:18):
I say, it doesn't cost anything and it doesn't take
very much time. But send a text to somebody you
haven't talked to it in a long time, just like, hey,
thinking about you, because that's just sharing generosity and love,
and sometimes, especially with the weather outside that we have today, people.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Need to know that they're being thought about.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
On people care, this is a sad time of year. Yea, yeah,
I agree for a lot of people it is. That's
a good one, Zach. I do have a list here.
We've been getting some calls as well. You can volunteer
at a food bank. I know Ricky just did at
the Second Harvest food bank. Yeah, it's not gonna cost
you anything. You can leave water or snacks or whatever
out for delivery drivers. They're out there making the rounds.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Yo.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
They are working their butts off right now. Like a
little snack does a long way.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
We got a call from Janine during that song. She
said that she teaches her kids to pick up litter
and trash whenever they see it out there. These little things.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
If you're out doing holiday shopping, maybe just buy one
extra toy or one extra jacket or whatever and donate
it to a children's hospital or a shelter, just one
extra thing. You can keep food in the car and
hand it out to people that might need it when
you see them, and then you stop at a stoplight
or something.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Yeah, you can like buy.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Those packs that crackers, and the crackers last for ever.
Hear they're extremely inexpensive, and like every time I've given
it to an unhoused or houseless person, they're so grateful
and excited for just a cracker.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
You leave a big tip when you're out dining. I
know a few of these do have to do with money,
but you know, a generous tip goes a long way.
You can call a school and pay off a kid's
lunch debt. That's another creative one.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
I like this.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
I've heard of people doing this. I think it's a
trend for a while. But leaving like a gift card
or cash in the diaper aisle somewhere like at Target
or something that is brilliant because diapers are expense, they
are new parents are off and struggling.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Wait, I actually saw this trend on TikTok that I
thought was really cool. So a bunch of like people
are getting together. So friends are going out to dinner
and instead of buying each other like Christmas presents, they're
bringing an extra twenty dollar bill to give to the server.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
So that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
There's ten people there, they get twenty dollar bills. From
each person, they're getting two hundred bucks.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
I love that.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning time for the daily.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
Double tap, it's one oh seven five the River. I
found this one, Zach. It is a local band, and
I know that I've I've brought similar daily double taps
to the table before, but.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
I'm very excited about this one. I can't wait to
hear it. I don't know anything about this, So this
was all Kevin's fault. If you don't like it, come
at him.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
It's a cover. The band is called Our Last Night.
They're a Nashville band and uh I follow them on
Instagram and I saw that you know they'd done this cover,
and then today I read that they're like actually having
Billboard success, Like they're charting with this song.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Cool.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
Yeah, it's a cover of Taylor Swift's Fate of Ophelia
and it's Today's Daily Double Tap.

Speaker 8 (22:56):
Here we go, Zacha. You get the gist here. It

(23:16):
works as a rock song man.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Yeah, I'm not like really into that type of music,
but it sounds cool.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Well it's a great song, and it just speaks to
how good the song is. But yeah, they're like actually
achieving Billboard success with this cover.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Here comes the best part. Hold on, here we go
to the best part.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
All right.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
I could just listen to it all day. I love
that song.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
I like that band.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
We'll post it. We'll post that video up on our
Instagram stories Today's Daily Double Tap. Super happy for them
that they're, you know, doing well with the.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Yeah pop off sis again.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
Then the band is called our last Night and we'll
link that up in our stories at one O seven
five the River. You can always find the Daily Double
Tap up there.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
Pick your package on one seven five.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
I'm probably thinking maybe like a half an answer?

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Okay, so too much?

Speaker 4 (24:17):
No, No, it's not bad at all. You can handle that.

Speaker 5 (24:20):
Well.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
Welcome to pick your package. Are you familiar with this game?

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
