Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning, six o'clock on the dot here in Nashville.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Thank you for starting your Thursday with us. Ricky's got
those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Several schools across Tennessee are closed this week due to sickness.
Father Ryan High School in Nashville was closed yesterday. We'll
also be closed today. Levetton and Special School District is
closed the remainder of the week. Extended Care is going
to remain open though. Right now, Tennessee ranks number four
in the US for flu activity according to data from Walgreens,

(00:28):
and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has also
flagged Tennessee as one of the states experiencing very high
flu activities. So everyone please wash your hands. It's very
important that you wash your hands. Don't be coughing on
other people. Don't make everybody get sick, because it's just
not worth it. The fact that entire schools have to close.

Speaker 5 (00:46):
Because of sickness is bad. We don't need it.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Kanye Wes's wife, Bianca Sensori will not be punished for
her nudity at the Grammy Red Carpet, despite the way
that people were acting online. There has not been one
formal complaint about Bianca showing up to the Red Carpet
in a fully meshed mini dress with nothing underneath. Kanye
told Grammy organizers that he planned to walk the Red carpet,
but did not give any details about their plan for

(01:10):
clothing or lack thereof, so they had no idea what
was about to happen. Kanye is now claiming that she's
the most googled person in the world after the stunt
that they pulled. So it seems like all things are
good for Kanye and Bianca. They're not gonna get punished
and Goldfish crackers. They have announced a limited edition Harry
Potter flavored fechees, so the grams they're like gram Crackers

(01:33):
instead of the regular crackers.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Their butter beer flavor, which.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Are inspired by the famous shrink from Harry Potter. They
could be described as having a quote rich butterscotch flavor and.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
Hints of creamy vanilla. They're set to lunch in March.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Specific date has not yet been revealed, so I will
let you know if anything changes with that and when
we find out exactly what day it's gonna happen. They
did the announcement in a really sweet way. They posted
a bunch of goldfish with different.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Schools like the gryffindor the different.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
Stars, the colors.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
We're all different on each one of them for each
of the houses.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
Which is really sweet. I'm Sanchez and those are the
three things.

Speaker 6 (02:10):
You need you Ricky zachon Mano in the morning on
one seven five the River.

comms ever. And if you disagree, that's okay, but I
think you're wrong. We are all gonna do this on
February sixteenth. The bunch of girls hanging out for Gallentine's Day.
If you're the first caller of the day today, you're gonna.

Speaker 5 (02:37):

Speaker 2 (02:37):

Guys are obviously allowed to call in and come hang.

your no? No, no, no, no, no no no no.
Why would you even think I'm just ask you I

Speaker 4 (03:06):
I'm actually driving to Hendersonville from Kentucky from Kentucky going
to work.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
Yeah, I'm in Kentucky right now.

Speaker 8 (03:12):
Amazing.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
You do quite the drive, then, hey, tell me about
thirty five minutes.

Speaker 9 (03:16):
Actually, oh okay, so.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
You're at least like right on the border.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
Then yeah, I.

Speaker 10 (03:21):
Live in Franklin, Kentucky.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Okay, Okay, thank god, because once you say Kentucky, I
was like, depending on where you're at, this is going
to take you a long time to get to Hendersonville.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
It could, but yeah, I'm not that far.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
What do you do, Dixie? What's your job?

Speaker 7 (03:34):
I'm a teacher?

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Cool? What grade? What who are you teaching?

Speaker 5 (03:37):
I teach fifth great science and social studies.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Wow, I feel like fifth grader's uh could be rude?

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Maybe?

Speaker 6 (03:44):
No?

Speaker 5 (03:47):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Thank you so much for being a teacher. We appreciate
our teachers so much. We know your job is not easy.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Last question about your curriculum. What do you prefer? Science
or social studies?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
They're both fun good.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
I'm glad you like what you do it too.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
I love that I was terrible at science, Dixie. I'm
not gonna lie to you. I was not good.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
It happened.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
I also just didn't.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Have great teachers, so the way that I needed to
learn what I was learning, like, I always felt stuck
in science.

Speaker 9 (04:19):
Okay, well, Dixie can help you now.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
She can bring a science book to your Valentine's Day party.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Dixie, you are the first color of the day on
one of seven five of the River.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
You're gonna come hang out with me at the Hampton Social.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
We're gonna have a gals night and celebrate Valentine's Day.

Speaker 10 (04:32):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
I'm excited to meet you and we can obviously talk more.
You're gonna meet so many new people, which is like
part of the fun of this too. Obviously, there will
be apps and drinks and we're gonna be watching.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Crazy stupid love. But I love the fact that we're.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Gonna have a bunch of people kind of building.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
A community together and meeting each other.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Right, bring like a science experiment or something to wow
the crowd watching.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
All the moon phases.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
That sounds really cool actually, although the wait that Kevin
just described that made it seem like you are a
magician as opposed to science, like a.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
You know, a paper mache volcano or something fun.

Speaker 7 (05:10):
I don't think i'd have done this.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Well, get to it, Dickney. No, we appreciate you listening
very much.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Have a great day today, and congratulations on winning your
way in you very much. All Right, you gotta hang
on the line for sex and we can get some
information from you. And there's another spot into this party tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Yes, last spot into this party, last chance to win
a movie.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Food, drinks, science projects. It's gonna be great.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
You're insane one.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
My, how the tables have turned. It's one oh seven
five the river, good morning. Normally Ricky and Zach are
coming down on me for something because I never do
anything socially, But my, how the tables have turned.

Speaker 11 (05:48):
Now.

Speaker 8 (05:49):
Kevin's mad at us.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
He's been standing there like a child, just angry with us,
like hands on his side, annoyed by anything we said.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
He's not exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
We'll get it right up the subreena carpenter. I'll tell
you why they are on my list.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Oh this morning, tell you next.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
Other Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
Zach and I have really upset Kevin.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
It's rickey Zach Evano in the morning on one of
seven five the river.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
He looks so serious.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Essentially, I feel like I've called your bluff our bluff. Yeah,
you guys.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Are constantly mad at me because I'm not going out
to this place where you guys do invite me places
sometimes and I have two kids. I got this whole
family situation at home, and it's not always that.

Speaker 8 (06:28):
Easy for it.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Some time you turn us down.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Zach is always on me about like you never invite
us to your house. And yeah, he's like, at the
beginning of my kids basketball season, they're both I have
an eight yearld and six year old.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
They're BTh playing basketball. He said, Oh, invite us to
a game. That'd be so bun. I know you won't,
but I'd love to come.

Speaker 9 (06:45):
I don't bite your interpretation of me.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
You guys, I have invited them to every game this season.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I just invited them to Saturday's games. They both have
games different times. I could come to both or just one.
Turn down.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Again, I have friends in town. I don't know what
you want for see.

Speaker 9 (06:59):
I can come, but I'm not going without her.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
You give me such a hard time for not inviting
you to things, and then I repeatedly invited.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
I could go last weekend, but Zach couldn't go.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Because he was working schedules to sync up. And then
we'll be there.

Speaker 12 (07:13):
Could you give us like more than a few days
heads up? We're busy too, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
I don't know why you have to do this together.
You guys are not joined at the hip. Just come
to the game. Yes we are, have you seen it,
But you don't have to be as.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
In the bathroom together at some time.

Speaker 12 (07:26):
We have old hands walking to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Just I just wanted the record to state that I
have repeatedly invited you guys to a thing, and you
are repeatedly turning me down.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
You're not wrong about that, but we have legitimate excuses,
at least our excuses.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Kids.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Yeah, you have friends in town?

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:46):
And do they not like basketball? Do they not want
to watch some kindergartens run around trying to National well
before the end of the season. Can I get your
solemn vow promise?

Speaker 9 (08:03):
When does the season end?

Speaker 3 (08:04):
I don't even know.

Speaker 9 (08:05):
I was like, how much longer do we have?

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Probably another month or something.

Speaker 9 (08:08):
Okay, we solemnly vow we will make it to a game.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Pay you promise?

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Good? Great, Thank you guys.

Speaker 9 (08:14):
We will We'll try it.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Lea, it was all settled.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
You diffuse. I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Thank you for starting this Thursday morning with us. Here's
to a great one. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Lots of people are talking about football and the Super Bowl,
but not so much about who's playing as much as
what may happen at the Super Bowl. When it comes
to Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift. People think that Travis
is going to propose to Taylor at the Super Bowl.
You're laughing because it sounds insane, and I agree with you, Kevin.
According to a new survey of a thousand football fans

(08:46):
who plan to watch the Super Bowl, seventeen percent think
that Travis Kelsey's gonna pop the question to Taylor.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
Swift after the game, and another twenty four.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Point one percent believe that he's only going to propose
if the Chiefs beat the Eagles, which makes sense because
I think if he decides to do this, which I
don't think is a good idea whatsoever, I don't know
why he would propose.

Speaker 8 (09:05):
If he lost, right, I guess we'll.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
See a lot of people are betting on it.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
There's obviously prop bets for the Super Bowl, which are
the fun bets.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
They're my favorite bets, and this is one of them.
Of whether or not Travis is going to propose to do.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
He's not going to He's not going to pull focus
from the rest of the team. That's all anybody would
talk about.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
It's all they're talking about now.

Speaker 11 (09:24):
Though.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
The nonprofit Move Inclusive Dance has launched a new wheelchair
class in Franklin, which is really amazing. So Move Inclusive
Dance has been looking to add a wheelchair class for
quite a while now, and with the addition of their
Franklin location, now they have the space to do it.
Classes are going to happen Mondays at five pm for
teens and adults who are independent wheelchair users, and they're
planning to add a kids class at the Bellevue Studio

(09:46):
on Wednesday evenings. But they're currently looking for two more
people to confirm enrollment.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
So this is move inclusive Dance.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
You can look it up. It's a really great place.
It's not just for wheelchair users. This is a new class,
so if you have a kid who wants to get
involved in this, go check it out. Obviously, we love
to support places that are around here and places like nonprofits.
This is a really great one, so check it out.
And for the first time ever, Crayola is bringing back
eight retired colors. Some of these colors have not been

(10:15):
seen in thirty five years. Shades Blizzard blue, Dandelion, Lemon yellow,
Magic Mint, mulberry, orange, red, raw, umber, I don't know
what an umber is, and violet blue are all going
to return for a special edition crayon pack.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I'm so excited about that. And I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
There's also colored metzels and markers that will all have
these colors as well. It's all happening throughout twenty twenty five.
Diehard fans are freaking out, especially people who collect these
are losing their minds over it.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
I would not say I would diehard Crayola fan, but
I do color a lot with my kids and new colors.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
That's exciting.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
And they're like new old colors too. Maybe you see
a color and go, oh wow, I remember that from
when I was a kid.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Sure, I'm er Cassanchez And those are the three things
you need to know.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Thank you so much, Ricky.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
That was educational, and the education continues with Zach's facts.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
We're gonna learn something together right after die with a
smile on.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
The river one seven five the river around the radio,
We're gonna learn something new.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
It's Zach's fax on one of seven five the river.

Speaker 12 (11:13):
A lot of people are getting sick right now, So
I have a natural remedy for you. Did you guys
know that onions are a natural remedy for clearing a
blocked nose. So apparently, like the sulfur content and the
vegetable is thought to draw the mucus of the body.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
I mean it makes sense since they make people cry
when you cut them, it like obviously does something to
your you know, it's opening something.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Yeah, exactly are.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
You supposed to sniff them?

Speaker 12 (11:34):
You're supposed to cut them and then put them in
a bowl like next to your bed, or you can
eat them, and it's supposed to help with the inflammation.

Speaker 8 (11:40):
Stinky, Yeah, but it helps.

Speaker 9 (11:42):
And that's your fact of the day.

Speaker 6 (11:44):
Ricky is zach and manno in the morning.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Heaven will not be here next week on one O
seven five the river. He's gonna have surgery on his thyroid.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Yeah, getting it removed. Either the whole thing or part
of it. We're not gonna know until they crack me
open and check things.

Speaker 8 (11:58):
I don't like the way you say open there.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
He's got thyroid cancer.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Let him talk about however he wants. But because he's
got this whole thing going on where he's gonna have
a surgery and he's gonna have to rest and recover,
he wants some suggestions of things that he can fill
his time with.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Yeah, as long as they don't require heavy lifting.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
My doctor said, I'll be on like a princess rest
or something.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
But whatever she calls like, she doesn't want me lifting
a finger for a week.

Speaker 9 (12:22):
Something you do now is the grocery store.

Speaker 8 (12:25):
What else do you pick up that's heavy?

Speaker 3 (12:26):
But that stuffs pretty heavy? I can carry all those
bags in the housing.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Shrip this with your suggestions or some things that he
can do while he's recovering at home, rest and relaxation
are the main goals here, but you know some things
that can get his mind going. Because Kevin can't sit
for longer than five minutes.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
It's gonna be very hard for me.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Yes, six seven, three, seven, nine one seven helps guy out.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Any and all suggestions how I can fill my time
chilling at home next week?

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Let me know it's the river one seven five.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
Kevin's going to be having surgery on his thyroid next week,
so he will not be here with us all week,
but he will be resting and recovering at home. You
need some things to fill his time with, things that
don't cause a lot of exertion though.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
For sure, I just need to take it easy. But
any suggestions. I'm not very good at relaxing, so I'll
take all the suggestions. Sandra in Nashville, our friend Sandra,
what do you have for me?

Speaker 7 (13:15):
I would say, binge, watch something you've always been interested
in watching. You couldn't come.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
Here so busy.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Yeah, and I definitely plan on doing that.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Actually, my plan is to watch all of the Best
Picture nominees. The Oscars are coming up and there's like
ten of them, so I want to do that.

Speaker 7 (13:27):
Sometimes, if you binge watch something you know the ending,
it's exciting, so you want to watch the next one
in the next one like that?

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Sure, yeah, no, you're right to think about.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Definitely an easy way for him to fill his time.
We love your suggestions, Sandra. Thank you so much for
calling in.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Love you guys, love you, Sandra. Thank you for that
body in Nashville. What do you think? What should I do?

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (13:47):
Do puzzles in like coloring book?

Speaker 5 (13:50):
That's such a good idea, good puzzle.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I do love puzzles.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
I honestly, I Ricky and Zach make fun of me
every time I talk about puzzles, But I do a
lot of puzzles and getting some new on before the
surgery is not.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
A bad idea.

Speaker 7 (14:02):
Yeah, maybe coloring book.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
A coloring book is a good idea too.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
You got really excited about the new Creola crayons that
are coming out.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
We were just talking about crayons. You're right, Yes, good call.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
There are plenty of adult coloring books on the market
out there. Uh and by that I don't mean like racy,
just like you know, a little more challenging than a
traditional coloring book, don't or we.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Were not thinking that way? Body, Thank you? So much
for calling in. We appreciate your suggestion. I think it's
a great idea. Yes, it's something a little more outside
the box.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Thank you body, thank you bye. Although I bet there
are adult like RACI or coloring books. I gotta exist.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
Why are you spirally on this?

Speaker 3 (14:38):
I'm gonna google it. If you have ideas six one, five, seven,
three seven nine one oh seven.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Uh, suggestions what to do while I'm recovering, but nothing
too strenuous.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
Princess Russ is.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
What he's on exactly.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
Rachie, Zach and Menno in the.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Morning, Stephanie and Murphy's burrow.

Speaker 9 (14:53):
What you got Launchuzzy, tell me what that is?

Speaker 7 (14:57):
So I don't have like a grid. It don't have
different people's and what they do, and I'll have like
different clues and then you go through and decide who
did what based upon the clue.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Oh it kind of sounds like, yeah, it's.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
So much different clues.

Speaker 10 (15:12):
But if they're really fun and I'm enjoyed, it'll.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Keep your mind galling.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Kevin, I like this, what's it curled again?

Speaker 7 (15:17):
They're log kick puzzles.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
He's writing it down so he doesn't forget. Uh huh.

Speaker 6 (15:21):
They have an app.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Kid, you can get on and even better.

Speaker 12 (15:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, Kevin can do it on his phone.
That works out great for him, I know, And I
wanted to tell you I had my fiery taken out
several years ago.

Speaker 7 (15:32):
My number one thing is get a grabber, because you
don't know how you use your neck muscles, Like when
you bend over to pick things up. It's gonna take
a wild.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
Thing like get that back.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
So if you're really.

Speaker 10 (15:43):
Anything off the floor.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
Yeah, Now, if you like bend over and touch your neck,
you can feel how it strains them.

Speaker 7 (15:48):
And I was really surprised by that.

Speaker 9 (15:50):
So grab you a grabber. Oh we're gonna get a grabber.

Speaker 8 (15:53):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
That's Zach's nickname. Thank you for calling step and you.
We appreciate it. Lisa and Richie in Louisbourg, Tennessee. Good morning,
Welcome to the river. What do you think how should
I pass the time next week?

Speaker 7 (16:07):
Okay, you should take suggestions something thanks to Google and
then give a report about it.

Speaker 8 (16:15):
I like this idea a lot.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
I like you work to do.

Speaker 10 (16:22):
I thought it would be so fun.

Speaker 7 (16:24):
I really do.

Speaker 12 (16:24):
Lisa, what's the first thing that you would want Kevin
to google? Like do his homework on.

Speaker 7 (16:28):
Oh god, that's a hard one, and he's got one, Richie,
I don't know. Do you think it's a good Oh god,
that's a hard one.

Speaker 12 (16:39):
Lisa, this was your idea, Lisa.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
I love this.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
I'm actually going to ask him towards the end to
make an entire PowerPoint pres.

Speaker 8 (16:55):
Much fun.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Try if you guys ever think of anything. Lisa know
it's have for you and Reggie to come up with
the topic. But called back and let us know.

Speaker 7 (17:02):
We we love y'all.

Speaker 8 (17:04):
We love you so much.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Thank you so much for hanging out.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
I have a great day. Robin and Shelbyville. Do you
have a suggestion for me?

Speaker 12 (17:12):
I do.

Speaker 7 (17:13):
There's a site called steering Bridge where you can go
and blog like what you're feeling, are your progress, how
you're doing during recovery, and your friends and family can
go in and read about it and make comments. And
that why you're not constantly having to tell people how
you're doing or how you're feeling.

Speaker 12 (17:33):
I like this instead of like having to respond to
every single text message or like tell everybody.

Speaker 9 (17:38):
I like it, like one platform of how you're.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Doing absolutely what's it called again, Caring Bridge okay, great suggestion.
Also a great one for other people to hear, just
in case they're looking for something.

Speaker 5 (17:51):
Yeah, along those lines.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
I've never heard of that, So that's that's very helpful.
Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (17:54):
You're very welcome. You have a great day.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
You too, very helpful.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
I do.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
I think they're probably the one of the most excited
about as the logic puzzles. That sounds like something I
would want to do anyway.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Like you guys know, I play wordle and wirdle and
all the stuff every day.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Yes, and I feel like it'll drive you crazy enough
that it'll keep you entertained.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
I'm in Thank you so much. We have tickets to
see the weekend for you. You can win those next
with the Game of the day right here.

Speaker 4 (18:16):

see the weekend.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
The person who's going to be performing Nissan.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
Stadium, August twelfth, it's Kevin Manno's Game of the Day
on one oh seven five the River. Good morning, April
and Hendersonville.

Speaker 9 (18:34):
Hey, how are you guys.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
We're great, We're great. How are you?

Speaker 6 (18:37):
I'm good?

Speaker 3 (18:37):
What do you have to this morning.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
It'll not sound excited.

Speaker 7 (18:43):
I'm in accounting and it's.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Well, let's add some excitement into your life.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
April. Are you ready to play the weekend quiz?

Speaker 10 (18:54):
I'm going to say yes because I'm a little nervous.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
No, you're gonna be get out there, gonna You're gonna
kill it. It's easy today.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Music is the category I need to remember not to
say it's easy.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Whenever I say it's easy, people struggle. Here we go.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
You get two out of three of these, right, you
get tickets to see the weekend. Okay, all right, all right,
your weekend quiz starts right now. In twenty eleven, What
Singer released the song Last Friday Night on an album
called Teenage Dream.

Speaker 10 (19:27):
Oh my god, I can sing the song that Friday?

Speaker 5 (19:36):
Is it? It is Katy Perry?

Speaker 6 (19:38):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Yeah, helped you with a little clue there with the singing,
because that singing was perfect.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
You're on the board one point. Here we go. It
is perfect.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
Did you just compliment your singing?

Speaker 2 (19:47):
In two thousand and two, Maroon five released the song
about which day of the weekend?

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Blank morning is the name of the song. Fill in
that blank say you're going to see the weekend.

Speaker 7 (20:03):
Oh my god.

Speaker 8 (20:04):
This is amazing.

Speaker 10 (20:05):
So my daughter leaves her college the next day because
this is going to be like our like class tour.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Raw Oh, I love that so much.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
If you would have told us out at the beginning,
we wouldn't have even made you play the game.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
We would handed you to day.

Speaker 5 (20:17):
That's not true. We have to make her play the
game legally.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
But that's so great. We love hearing that. Thank you
for telling us that, because that that just made our day.

Speaker 8 (20:25):
Oh that's exciting.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Thank you, guys.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
She's a bit past eight o'clock this Thursday morning.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Thank you for starting your day with us. We always
appreciate that Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Shahboozie has teased a collab with Morgan Wallen. So after
the Grammys, where he was nominated for five different awards,
he talked to press about working on his next album.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
He expressed feelings like he's.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Now coming into his own and he shared that quote
stuff's coming with Morgan Wallen. Not sure I Shaboozi is
going to release the Clab on his next album or
if it'll be a one off honestly, it could even
be a song that they both wrote together. We will
have to wait to find out, but he's teasing it already,
so hopefully we figured it out soon. Zoo Run Run,
the Nashville Zoo's annual Winter five k race is scheduled

(21:11):
for Saturday, March first.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
If you want to be a.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Part of this great, registration starts at forty five dollars,
which includes a T shirt, bib, post race refreshments, and
free access to attractions until five pm. There is a
bonus that if you wear animal or Zoo themed costumes
for a chance to win backstage past tour.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
That's a really cool experience.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
You can go literally see so many things about the
Zoo that you would never be able to see before.
Like I said, March first is when that's happening. All
the information is up on Nashville Zoo's website and Delta,
the airline and Draft Kings are teaming up to offer
in flight gaming options, So they're going to start offering
free gaming to sky Miles members using their Delta Sink

(21:53):
Wi Fi. The deals expected to be finalized this year,
and it will let eligible passengers play games on their
personal devices without any real money or miles in five.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Oh, that's what I was gonna ask if it was
real money.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
They're keeping it fun and legal. You know, nothing too
too intense. But if you like to gamble, you can
gamble just for funzies on your flight. I'm Sanchez and
those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
Nicky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
So, there was a person on a flight who had
posted a picture onto a Reddit form of this big
bag in first class. They let a bag fly in
first class, and obviously people are split where half of
these people think, what the heck they should have let
a person upgrade to first class and not a bag,
and they should have just put the bag back in coach.

(22:41):
And then other people are like, you didn't pay for
first class, so no, you shouldn't get first class. Put
the bag there, Zach, I know you have opinions and
feeling sure.

Speaker 12 (22:50):
I personally am fine with the suitcase in first class
because everybody and coach paid for a coach. You didn't
pay for first class. And then how do you randomly
pick who was gonna get You would.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Have to random, It would have to be completely random.
They'd have to say this is completely random.

Speaker 12 (23:04):
Then I would be so mad that I wasn't picked
like some random person that's paid the same amount for
the same ticket that I got got upgraded for.

Speaker 8 (23:11):
Absolutely no, just.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Because you don't win something means nobody gets to win somewhere,
he says.

Speaker 9 (23:18):
I just think it's not fair.

Speaker 12 (23:20):
Like if we're all paying the exact same price for
the seats, sit in your seat.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Just feel good for your fellow passenger that gets upgraded.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Now you think that a person should have been upgrade
thousand percent.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Not only that, but the person who brought the oversized
bag onto the airplane that doesn't fit in the overhead compartment.
They should be penalized. They need to be They need
to pay for that to go get checked under the
plane like everybody else.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Okay, solid points.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
They should never brought that oversized bag on the plane.

Speaker 9 (23:42):
Like how did they even get on the plane with it?

Speaker 4 (23:44):
I don't know, Will say, I just found out this
little fun fact about when you're flying on a plane,
people who have musical instruments like Cello's or something like that,
like large instruments, Huh, they can actually fly with them
in a seat. Next to that, we have to pay
to pay for the extra seat. So there's totally a
possibility that somebody in first class but two first class tickets,

(24:05):
one of which will specifically for their bag.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Okay, so we don't know that might be the scenario
because all we're going, all we're basing this whole thing
on is a photo of a crrapah I get suitcase whatever,
sitting in strapped into a chair in first class.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Yes, which has my mind even more blown about the
idea of someone having enough money to pay for two
first class tickets and not even for two humans and
one for your back.

Speaker 9 (24:27):
I mean, this ca is good for you.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Maybe it was like remains or something and it was
a very special flight.

Speaker 5 (24:32):
Oh well, now that sounds bad.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
Everybody sounds like a terrible human being who doesn't feel
like that should be.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
In first class. Then I got really grim.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Really yeah, I apologize for that, if you want to
weigh in six one five, seven, three seven, nine one
oh seven.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
I don't fly first class often, but man, is it
nice often.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
I've never flown first class.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
I think I've only flown if like a company you
know is going to fly me somewhere?

Speaker 5 (24:56):
What company?

Speaker 9 (24:57):
I don't, Yeah, this one, what's happening.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
What I used to work for MTV, they would have
to fly me coast to coast. It would always be
first class and fancy.

Speaker 9 (25:04):
Kevin over here.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
I really didn't mean to go down that route and
name drop and make you guys jealous, but.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
Yea, I'm like it was nice.

Speaker 12 (25:09):
Ricky and I fly spirit and Kenvin's over here in
the first class.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
One O seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and
Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
One of seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano
in the Morning, Jericha and Clarksville. How do you feel
about this story of a suitcase making it to first
class over any of the people that were in coach.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
It was in a seats drapped in in first class.

Speaker 10 (25:33):
It's a big club, aunt, I don't I wouldn't care
about it most of the time.

Speaker 7 (25:38):
Like if I'm traveling, I'm less.

Speaker 10 (25:39):
Family, so I probably wouldn't want to be upgraded anyway,
because I have a fun time with my family.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
My kids, I'll be up here.

Speaker 12 (25:48):
I would be the first person to leave them as well.
Like if my boyfriend and I are traveling and they
upgrade one of us, I'm like, I'm going, Like you
can sit in the back.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
These are terrible people, Jerika, I'm with you. I would
want to stay with my fiance.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
And it was on your giving. If you were to
go up there and leave him behind, you're giving him
extra space.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Now he's got two.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
Seats, you know, because then the bag is gonna sit
next to him.

Speaker 9 (26:07):
Okay, you're right, still more space.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
You guys are insane, Jerika, I'm with you.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
I don't think it really would have bothered me as
much because of the fact that I'd rather stay with
my fiance. If they had two seats, then yeah, what
about we should have been up there?

Speaker 3 (26:21):
What about you guys splitting the time. Let's say it's
a four hour flight. You do two hours up there,
he does two hours up there.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
That's insanity.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
That's not a bad idea, Jerika.

Speaker 10 (26:28):
I will say that if I'm traveling with my kids,
I would once can't leave my husband with my kids
so that I could get her. I'm gonna stay with him.

Speaker 5 (26:38):
Jerka. I thought we were on the same side here.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
I mean, I am not even opposed to a Vali
and I and were flying someone with the kids, like
we've never done this, But I wouldn't be opposed to
she and I sitting in first class and the kids
sitting in the back.

Speaker 5 (26:52):
Oh my god, this is like home alone.

Speaker 6 (26:55):
Tiny.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
They don't need much space. They just sit there with
their iPads and zone out.

Speaker 4 (26:59):
Oh wow, wow, I have so many thoughts and feelings.

Speaker 5 (27:03):
I don't think we have enough time to get into this, right.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
And they didn't work for this money, we did.

Speaker 8 (27:07):
You know, you're not wrong.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
You sound like Zach right now, Kevin, And this is
not a compliment.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
All right, Jerck, thank you for calling. I'm sorry that
she had to see the ugly side.

Speaker 10 (27:18):
Of me.

Speaker 5 (27:23):
Ricky, Zach and mannow in the morning.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
All right, Kevin apparently is going to ruin today's daily
five of the River. But I think it's a sweet
sentiment and a sweet message.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
I do too.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
It's a pilot who had himself a nice little, you know,
captain's message before he took off on a plane. Because
there's a lot going on with you know, people crashing
and the situations on runways and things like that.

Speaker 5 (27:45):
You wanted to put everybody at ease.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Lots of uneasy travelers. So it is a very nice message,
and I know it came from a good place.

Speaker 11 (27:52):
Here.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
It is here's today's daily.

Speaker 11 (27:54):
Maybe I'm fearful about flying, and that's certainly understandable. But
I just know that my first office, and our tenants,
and myself, at least your safety, the responsibility of carrying
you to my engine, don't you, families, your vacations, your beats.
At the highest level, I had no higher callity than
carefully professionally transporting you today. So with that, relax and

(28:17):
enjoy the beautifully day that we get to fly in.

Speaker 8 (28:20):
Well the other wish you're welcome for.

Speaker 12 (28:22):
I would feel so much better after that, like because
I'm seeing boys. Yea, as soon as you walk in,
you're anxious, And then I feel so much better With him.

Speaker 13 (28:29):
I would say a good portion of the passengers probably
weren't thinking anything bad until he said that I never
fly without my kids, And so then I know I
could see my kids faces and be like, what's he
talking about?

Speaker 11 (28:40):
Why?

Speaker 3 (28:40):
Why would we be worried? And then you know that.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
You'd have to tell them, oh, there's been a bunch
of plane crashes lately, Like you know, I don't know,
I had to ruin it. I think he probably works
some people up that weren't already worked up.

Speaker 9 (28:51):
He also helped a lot of people that were already
worked up.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
So it's a balance.

Speaker 5 (28:55):
Yeah, my god, this is why we can't have.

Speaker 9 (28:59):
Nice things be ruined. It's a nice message.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
It was nice. It came from a place of love.
I know that it did.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
Okay, we're gonna post it all one of seventy five
of The River's Instagram page in the story, so you
can watch it for yourself. You can let Kevin know
if you agree with him, or you can tell him
that he ruins everything.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Now. Look, I know you're all scared to death right now.
I just want you to know.

Speaker 12 (29:16):
That it's gonna be fun and you're not gonna die
on this plane.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
One oh seven five The River, Nicky, Zach and Mano
in the Morning
