Dolly Parton shared the passing of her husband yesterday on
her social media pages. Carl Dean passed away yesterday in
Nashville at eighty two years old. Dolly's statement read, in
part quote, words can't do justice to the love we
shared for over sixty years. Thank you for your prayers
and sympathy. He's going to have a private ceremony for
(00:32):
family only, and our hearts are with Dolly over sixty years.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
Is so amazing to hear.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
And I can only imagine how she's feeling right now
and how his family's feeling. So we're thinking of her
and her family.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
I read that they met the day she moved to Nashville,
when she was eighteen years old.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
Oh, don't make me more sad than I already am.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Kevin.
Speaker 5 (00:52):

public input on a request to officially change the name
of Bellevue Park.

They want to change to the name to Red Caboose Park.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
So you can submit feedback by email, phone, standard mail,
you can do it in person.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
There's going to be a March fourth.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
Meeting the public input period and Saturday, March twenty second,
so make sure that you do that. March fourth is today,
so there will be a meeting held today if you
want to go in person and give your input and
have your say and if they rechange, if they rename the.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Park to Red Caboose Park.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
And Krispy Kream is giving away free donuts for Fat
Tuesday today, so today, yes, you can go giving out
original glazed donuts to anyone who shows up wearing.
Speaker 4 (01:36):

have some beads, wear them. They'll give you a free donut.
You don't have to buy anything.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
You do.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Only get one per customer though, okay, don't get greedy.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
One per customer. Ring sanchas and those are the three
things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
They're not going to remember you if you change your
shirt in your car.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
You were going to say something like that, because you
look the way.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
You looked at me was just like so sinister, Like, oh,
I'll get five donut.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, let's do it.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Ricky zachon Mano in the morning on.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
The river, Ricky Zack and Mano in the morning, all
back together again this morning, and I like this idea.
This is Ricky's idea. She's gonna let you choose your
own adventure here.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Yes, you get to pick what we're going to talk
about next. I'm gonna give you two options, and then
you need to text us six four eight nine five
is the phone number.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Put River at the beginning.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Of the message, and just tell us you know topic
one or topic two. Topic one is would you like
to hear about local places to go for Saint Patti's
Day celebration?
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Okay, it sounds good that this is probably about the time,
you know enough time people are starting to make their
plans figure it out.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
Or do you want to hear the surprising thing that
turns most people?
Speaker 3 (02:43):
On Number two?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
For sure, then I want to text six four eight
nine five is the text line. Make sure you put
River at the front of that. Let us know your
name and where you're texting from. Local spots for Saint
Patrick's Day or the unusual thing that turns it's gonna
shock you.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Voting for the second one, but let us we'll find
out a few minutes here on the.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
River Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning, we.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Decided to try something new today on one O seven
five the River. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
We gave you two options and you got to kind
of choose your own adventure what we were going to
talk about.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Two options.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
They were either a list of local places to go
to for Saint Patti's makes sense, or we wanted to
know if you want to hear about the surprising thing
that turns most people on.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
It makes way more sense, he asked.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
And the amount of people that texted in and agreed
with Kevin is actually shocking. People want to hear what
the shocking thing is.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
That's what do Yet the scene a little bit.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Here, he goes at the scene.
Speaker 6 (03:47):
I'm scared of how excited Kevin is about this.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
I want to see if I do this thing, If
I have this.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Thing, going to be more excited because he does do this.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Oh so he's.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Gonna love this.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I'm ready.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
People are really turned on by their partner doing chores.
Doing house chores really turns people on.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
I don't know that it does for my wife. I'm
not sure that's.
Speaker 5 (04:09):
Really unfortunate for you, because almost half of the people
that agree.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Do this on the survey said it was that.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
I think maybe it did like in the early days,
you know what I mean, Like she was like, Wow,
he's doing the laundry, He's doing stuff that's kind of sexy,
and then like she's just gotten so used to it.
Then now I'm just the guy that does the law.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Oh no, see, I will say I came home and
AJ had cleaned the entire apartment. Everything smelt good, there
was a candle going, and I was like, this is phenomenal.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
I love this.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
No, I'm not standing there watching him do the dishes
being like wow, that's so hot, look at it.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Go watching.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
It's the fact that it's done, like the fact that
your partner will do the chores that maybe you don't
want to do that pek, or the fact that you're
over it you do the chores all the time, and
then finally your significant other does it.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
It's like, yeah, I agree with that. If you know,
if they step up and do something in your to
do list and take that off your plate, that's a
turn on.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
See. See we're getting somewhere, you.
Speaker 6 (05:04):
Say, so, I don't believe this.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Zach is also just used to it.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
He's the alley in the relation. YEA does everything. He does,
all the laundry and everything. So Zach's just like, yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
I'm used to it, I will say in defense of
my wife, though she does make all of our money,
so that's turn. Yeah, I get it.
Speaker 7 (05:21):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Thank you for everybody that text in about that. It
did not disappoint me whatsoever. Sex Talk and six appreciated one.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Seven, Ricky, Zach and Menno seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Right before that song, Ricky mentioned that she woke up
in a panic last night.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
All frenzy.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
All's well, that ends well, she seems fine this morning,
but what happens.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
I'm okay.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
I just I literally woke up in the middle of
the night, and you guys are gonna think I'm so
dumb when I explain what happened. I'm a light sleeper
all the time, I said, very like anything can wake
me up.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
It's terrible.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
But a j snores really bad m h and he
snores all night, so I always try to ignore it.
It's like my my go to like zen out and
not pay attention to him storing. But I woke up
in the middle of the night in like this absolute
frenzy because I thought.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
That it sounded like there were gunshots outside. I literally was.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
Like, Oh my god, there are gunshots outside of my apartment.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
What is happening? And then I was like, could it
be fireworks?
Speaker 5 (06:17):
And then I was like, there aren't any holidays happening
right now. It's a random Monday. Why would they be
setting off fireworks outside? It has to be gunshots. And
then I was like, what do I do if it
is gunshots? I don't know how to handle that.
Speaker 6 (06:28):
You just lay in your bed. You don't move correct.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
So that's what I did do. I laid in my bed.
But I was like, do I call someone? Do I
call the police?
Speaker 5 (06:35):
This is like not okay, what if someone's getting hurt outside?
It was actually aj snoring. He has a new snore.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
He was out of town for a few days and
in those few days he developed a new store.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
New store, and the way that he was snoring last
night sounded like fireworks or gunshots?
Speaker 6 (06:54):
Can you reenact it for me?
Speaker 4 (06:55):
I couldn't even do.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
It if I tried, Because I tried to say it
back to him this morning before came to work, and
he was like, what are you talking about? But it
truly wholeheartedly sounded like gunshots outside.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Oh my gosh, and these noises were coming out of
the mouth of the man laying okay, noise.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Like it sounded like in the distance there were gunshots.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Can you try to record this next time it happens
so we can have some.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Audio, No, now that I know it's just him snoring
and not actually something terrible happening outside, Yes, I can record.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
You need to go have like a sleep test done
or something if his snore is that bad.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
It was, guys, I'm truly not even kidding you. I
was in a frenzy panic, like I.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Was laying bed, like what do I do this?
Speaker 5 (07:39):
This is really scary, And it was him snoring the
whole time.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
His machine guns snore. I'm surprised that he's a snorer.
He's such a healthy guy, such a holistic guy. He meditates.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
He does not.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
Typically ends up storing around this time of year because
the weather change.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
And he has really bad allergies, yes, allergies, and like
his sinuses get flamed and stuff like that, so he'll
store this period of the year.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Outside of that, he doesn't typically snore, so I'm.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Good at like zoning it out.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
And I truly was like, oh, it's not a snort,
it's something terrible happening outside.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
I was not well.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
I couldn't sleep for like thirty minutes after that.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
But that's also the world that we live, and we
immediately go to like the scariest thing possible because it's
real light.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
Now yeah, no, it was so scary, but all's well,
everything's fine.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
It's just no, say, has the scariest.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Snore deviated septum. We record that next time, so we
get on here.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Three things you need to know, all right.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Thank you for being here.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Just after seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning, Ricky Sanchez
is back and she's got those three things.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
The Oscars they happen Sunday night. I have a few
updates outside of the ones that you know, everybody knows
who won the awards, things like that. We now know
that there were eighteen million viewers, which is down from
last year's Oscars, but it's higher with younger audiences. Adri
and Brody gave the longest speech in the show's history.
I know you already figured that, but now we know
(09:01):
for one hundred percent certainty. His speech was five minutes
and forty seconds long. The typical speech is around forty
five seconds, which is just absolutely insane.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
They tried playing them off and he said turn off thcause.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
She's it's insane. I don't know the man, but all
of this is just nuts to me. Honora will be
on Hulu on the seventeenth. You should watch it at
won Best Picture this year.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Kevin, you liked it. You watched it.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
It was different, it was not what I expected. It's
pretty grown up. Just so you know, don't watch them
with the kids.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
That makes sense.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
I mean, if you watch the trailer, which Kevin apparently
did not blind, you would know that it's not for
the kids.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
But there are a few updates for you from the
oscars this year.
Speaker 5 (09:39):
The Wilson County, Tennessee State Fair has announced it's twenty
twenty five dates. I know everybody's just itching for summertime,
and this is a classic summertime thing that everybody loves
to do. Thursday August fourteenth to Saturday August twenty third
is when it's going to happen.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
This year's fair is coined the Year of Pork.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
So there's going to be an emphasis on Tennessee's pork industry,
special exhibits, educational demonstrations, and interactive experiences, on top of
obviously all the other things that the fair has, like
all the rides.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
And candy and all that good stuff.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
I can't wait for summer and we are getting a
walk to Remember reboot. It's happening, the Mandy Moore Shane
West movie that everybody knows and loves. It's based off
of Nicholas Sparks novel. It's coming back in a reboot.
Films still in early development, so we don't know who's
going to be part of the cast or anything. I
know Kevin was already like, oh.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Is Mandy Moore going to be a part? Yeah? No, Yeah,
we will see.
Speaker 5 (10:35):
As I find out more details, I will let you
know what's going on. We just know that it is
for sure happening. I'm very curious to see if it
ends up anywhere near what the original was.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
I never saw the original.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Oh my god, I know it's a class I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Don't speak to me. I'm Ricky Sanchez And those are
the three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
I apologize.
Speaker 8 (10:52):
I don't know the river.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Heiky Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 5 (10:57):
Can't wait to hear this one. It's Zach's fax on
one seven five of the River.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
I wanted to do an ode to Dolly Parton and
her husband, Carl Dean, who passed away yesterday. Did you
guys know that he and Dolly Parton met at the
Wishy Washy Laundromat here in Nashville in nineteen sixty four.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
Kevin actually told me this today.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
It was the day she moved to Nashville.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
I did not know it was the Wishywalk the Wishy
Washy laundromat.
Speaker 6 (11:20):
So sometimes love at first sight really is a thing
my heart. And the Wishy Washy Laundromat is still open
on Lafayette Street here in Nashville.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
I want to go put a flower on the ground
over there today and should There's your fact of the day.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
One O seven five.
Speaker 8 (11:33):
Ver.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
What's the appropriate amount of time to stay with family?
It's one O seven five the river. This question comes
from Zachie has a friend the.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Mom is staying for how long?
Speaker 6 (11:45):
For two months? They told me over the weekend and
they were like, oh, yeah, my mom comes into town
on Monday for two months.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
And she's staying with them for the full two months
the entire time. Okay, I didn't know if maybe she
was coming staying for a week. She's gonna go to
like Chattanooga for a bit, come back up a little bit.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
I'm gonna be positive and optimistic here, like, I love
my mom. I'd be great to spend that much time
with my mom. But at that point, you're not really
staying with him, you're moving in with them.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
Kevin is just saying that because his mom Lissen, Good morning, Joanne.
Speaker 6 (12:15):
I just feel like two months is far too long.
So I started thinking of, like, what is the appropriate
amount of time without overstaying. You're welcome.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
I'm gonna say two weeks, okay.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Okay, six, one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
Let us know where you stand on this, the appropriate
amount of time to stay with family before you just
live with him.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
One o seven.
Speaker 5 (12:34):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morn just told us
something insane that's happening to his friends.
Speaker 6 (12:39):
I was hanging out with my friends every the weekend,
and they told me that their in laws are coming
in for two months and staying at their house with them.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
We all think that's way too long to be staying
at anyone's house too much.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Jessica and Murphy's Burro, Good morning. What do you think?
Speaker 9 (12:54):
Well, I'm not really sure that I can help out
much on this one because my in laws come from Mexico.
And then I say, four to five months at a time.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
Do you have a separate, like in law suite for them?
Are they staying in like a bedroom right down the
hall from you?
Speaker 4 (13:10):
I need to know more details, so.
Speaker 9 (13:13):
They stay upstairs?
Speaker 4 (13:15):
I mean, I don't mind.
Speaker 9 (13:16):
Like I looked out when I got in laws with them,
but it doesn't bother me.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
That's so sweet at that point though, Like they're not visiting.
They live with you, guys part time half of the year.
They are with you.
Speaker 9 (13:26):
Basically, Yes, And I've asked them to actually live with us.
Speaker 6 (13:29):
You want them to live with you? Oh?
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I would love it, absolutely well.
Speaker 6 (13:33):
Do they like cook, clean, take care of the kids
like basically a built in nanny?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (13:38):
They do help.
Speaker 6 (13:39):
That makes sense. I'm why you want them there all
the time?
Speaker 5 (13:42):
I will say, Also, you know you're talking about coming
from another country.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
They're not coming from.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
Two states away where you can see them at any point.
It's like a hole to do if you're going back
and forth. So for your instance, it kind of makes
a little more sense, right.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
I still couldn't do it, though, Jessica. I'm not gonnae I.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
Say you start charging on rent when they come for that.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
Long exactly never all right, thank.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
You for coming. Appreciate your weighing in.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
I mean, I hate to say this. I think it
just really boils down to like how you feel about people.
Speaker 6 (14:14):
Yeah, that's facts, like if you really really really love
your in laws, and especially if they're that helpful like
helping the kids clean, cook, doing all of this around
the house, it's kind of helpful.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
I consider myself very lucky because I really do love
AJ's parents so much.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
I truly don't think that you could do months at
a time. That's so much.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Let's shift this and say, friends, Ricky, if like your
best friend from New Jersey was coming to stay with
it and said, Ricky, I'm gonna stay with you here for
a week, sure, tell me when it starts to get
too much.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Two weeks, okay, three weeks?
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Why four weeks?
Speaker 1 (14:46):
No?
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Please leave?
Speaker 6 (14:48):
My boyfriend just broke up with me. I need a
place to stay for a couple of weeks.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
Okay, that's different, the circumstance is different. I can help
put you back on your feet because obviously you split
rent and everything like that.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
That's a traumatic time, I am because Harry, where you
supposed to live? What are you supposed to do? That's
a little different. But that's about a month.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
When you start getting too like two months, then you're
just starting to.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Take advantage one five the river.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Heiky, Zach and Mano in the morning, Alex.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
In Shelbyville, tell us, what is the appropriate amount of
time for family to visit and stay at your home?
Speaker 7 (15:18):
All right, so this is kind of how I I
think so like legally, like I think it's about the
six months before you know you can claim on your taxes.
But if we're talking about like for your sanity, probably
like an.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Hour Alex, wait, I didn't even know that you could
claim it on your taxes at that point.
Speaker 7 (15:39):
Oh yeah, dependent? Yeah, maybe a dependent after a certain
amount of time.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Stop it.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
That is such a wild thought process to have, like, oh,
wells have been living with me for five six months
now they're my dependent.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
A little tax break?
Speaker 7 (15:51):
Yeah yeah, that actually might be a benefit. Might want
to keep them there for a while. Sure, get a
little extra house in the back.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
Yeah, work smart, not harder.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
This coming from the guy that said in hour or two, Alex,
thank you for calling, buddy, appreciate it. That's a good tip.
Laura and Hendersonville, good morning, welcome to the river.
Speaker 8 (16:11):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
What do you think here?
Speaker 2 (16:12):
How long is the appropriate amount of time for family
to stay with you?
Speaker 6 (16:16):
Well, so I'm the same for me personally, five days
that's about all I can take.
Speaker 8 (16:20):
My family's very complaining.
Speaker 9 (16:22):
They can be very nitpicky and judgmental. Oh no, that's
about all I can handle.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
I mean, Laura did call us to complain about her family,
So I guess it just runs in the family.
Speaker 8 (16:34):
Oh, I guess. So the shade Kevin, I just can't like.
Speaker 9 (16:42):
Five days, I think is.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
About as much.
Speaker 9 (16:44):
And I'm ready to be either I'm leaving or they're leaving.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Yo.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
I get that because I had a hip replacement in
December and my mom came to stay with me to
like take care of me. And after three days I
thought I was going to lose my mind. I was like,
I love you so much, but please get out of
my house.
Speaker 9 (17:01):
Yeah, kind of like that was with uh when I
had my first child. I was like, Okay, you've rearranged
my entire out.
Speaker 6 (17:08):
YEP, makes sense to me.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Laura, I don't think you're too complaining at all.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Yes, here we go, just after eight o'clock on this
Tuesday morning, Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
Tennis player Serena Williams is going to be part owner
of WNBA's newest expansion team. She announced it on social
media that she is joining the owners group of the
Toronto Tempo. In her social post, she said, new court,
new game. She's a minority owner and a few other
teams in different sports, so football, she's a part owner
(20:45):
of the Miami Dolphins for soccer, the w NWSL's Angel
City Football Club, golf tgl's Los Angeles Golf Club. So
she's kind of got her hands in a bunch of
different sports. Even though tennis was her go to that
she just dominated in, dominated in that when it came
to athleticism, dominating in other areas when it comes.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
To being a minority owner.
Speaker 5 (21:07):
But I love to see that she's part of the
WNBA because she obviously changed the culture of sports so much,
and the WNBA is doing that right now, and I
just think that's such a great pairing and such a
great match. So love to see it simple plan the
Emo Band, They're coming to Nashville. They announced that they're
going on tour, but this is not part of the tour.
(21:29):
This is just kind of like a side one off show.
It's gonna happen at Marathon Music Works. It's special guests
we the Kings on June thirteenth. The band recently announced
their headlining summer tour to celebrate twenty five years together.
Oh world, twenty five years what I'm like, literally mind
blown by that.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
You can sign up for early tickets.
Speaker 5 (21:48):
For the Marathon music Works show on their website. It
didn't actually say when they were officially going on sale,
but go to Marathon music Works website sign up for
the pre sale. Triple A has issued a list of
the top ten spring break destinations for twenty twenty five,
and Florida is a hot spot again with a bunch.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Of cities on the list.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
Orlando, Miami, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale all made the list.
Few of the other ones were Atlanta, Georgia, New York City,
and Chicago. I'mrick Sanchez and those are the three things you.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
Need to know.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
One seven rafe Zach and Meno in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
Happy Unique Name Day. It's one of seven five the river.
Today is one of those fun little random holidays. It's
a unique Name Day.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
Well really we should be the one saying happy unique
name to atu.
Speaker 6 (22:35):
Yeah, Ricky as a female, I feel like it's very
unique exactly.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
So we want to know if you have a unique name.
Do you have a name that people go, oh, I've
never heard that before, or oh, what a pretty name.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
We just talked to Kevy, a female Kevin. My name's Kevin,
and so people my whole life, you know, occasionally say Kevy.
I've never met a Kevy. But Kevy just called and
played the game of the day and I love that.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
So she is an example as well.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
If you have a unique name, we want to hear
from you six in five, seven, three seven nine one
o seven.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
And I want to tell the story about how confused
the guy it's polar punoys about the name Ricky chaos,
cause let us know if you have a uniqu name,

Speaker 5 (23:19):
And I love that there is a full day dedicated
to unique names. As someone has a female with the
name Ricky, and we asked, you know, do you have
a unique name?
Speaker 4 (23:28):
But we are marry. On the line, you said, your
daughter's name is unique.
Speaker 8 (23:33):
It's Marika Marica. Do you like it that it's r
I K H. I like you people they used to
put out Morocca America.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
I would have said America for sure, America.
Speaker 5 (23:51):
Oh my god, no, your camry goo. Where did you
come up with that? Was it just like a random
throwing together of letters?
Speaker 8 (23:58):
Oh, it's it's all. It was in my head when
I was younger. And I oh, I love that night.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I like And your name's Mary, so Marika kind of
connected a little bit in a way.
Speaker 8 (24:07):
And and I have a daughter named Malaysia, but I
still it different.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
I like that you go through the unique names Mary,
so we know, we know Marika, we know Malaysia.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
What's the third name?
Speaker 8 (24:21):
Well, Malaysia. I am a apostlepy l a wah the
I H girl.
Speaker 6 (24:28):
You really made it hard for her, the child growing up, Just.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Like, let the Weedi board name these kids. What didn't
you say you had three?
Speaker 7 (24:36):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (24:36):
Yes, Mikayla, Michayla okay, okay, a little more neutral with Mikayla.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Steam Yeah, it's nice.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Yeah, lovely, Mary, thank you for coming. We appreciate you listening.
Speaker 8 (24:47):
Thank you all right.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (24:51):
I think unique names are so fun. I have a
cousin named Blaize, and I always really cool.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Right.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Yeah, there's a no show about a monster truck name Blake.
Speaker 6 (25:00):
In my head, I'm like picturing them being like a
professional hockey player Blade. I don't know why, but that's
what it sounds like to me.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Sure, it does sound really cool.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
When we did the Polar Plunge the other day, I
mentioned this story. We were out there and there's a
guy hosting the event, and the three of us walked
up on stage and he had like a piece of
paper that had our names on it, and it was
already established that I am Mano.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
It said Ricky, Zach and Mano. He asked me how
to pronounce it.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
I said, it's Mano, and then we all jumped in
and then Zach got out so fast, and he's like, oh,
look at Ricky.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
Getting out there, and then he knew I was Mano.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
And then he looked at Ricky and he realized he
was down to one name, and that name was Zach.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
And it just wasn't computing for him. I'm not a
very funny moment.
Speaker 6 (25:39):
Literally, when he said that, I was like, does he
literally think her name is Zach?
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (25:43):
And to be honest with you, guys, this is my
everyday life. For all of eternity life has been like this.
No one ever gets it, the amount of times that
I get asked.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
Oh, what's Ricky short for? And I'm like, uh, nothing.
I used to make things up.
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Like random names and throw together random names just to
see people's reactions, like Raquisha or something like that, and
they go, oh, what.
Speaker 6 (26:06):
A nice Well, now you have a full government name
that I gave you that Ricky is actually short for
Rakita Shakita banunu.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
Yes, yes, yes, that's what I'm going to start telling people.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
But I'm like, what would Ricky be short for for
a girl?
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Well you? Yeah, Happy Unique Name Day to you.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Thank you, my day, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Today is a very special day for you. It is.
It's a day for people with unique names.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yeah, Jericha and Clarksville is on the line half the
Unique Name Day, Jericha.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Thank you.
Speaker 9 (26:38):
I didn't realize that this was a thing, so I'm
pretty excited.
Speaker 6 (26:41):
You should make everybody around you by your present today.
Speaker 9 (26:44):
Yeah, because I'm definitely not going to get the present
of a kitchen because my name was never on one.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
Oh my god, Jericha. The way that I experienced that
same thing. All of my friends had the pens and
the little like nick knacks that all had their names
on it, and I would have to buy the one
that said.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
Like all power or like an initial yes, because it
was the closest that I could get. I feel you're pain, Jerica.
Where does your name come from?
Speaker 9 (27:09):
So both of my granddad's name is Jerry, and so
in a baby book, the girl version of Jerry was Jerica.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Cute. I like that there's a family connection, Jeriica.
Speaker 6 (27:20):
I do have to tell you that I had a
best friend in middle school and her name was Jericha.
So I love you already. I feel like we're bestie's
now at home.
Speaker 9 (27:28):
That's awesome.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
Thank you so much for calling in, Jeriica, and for
understanding me as a person, because nobody else gets the keychain.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
Thing like you did.
Speaker 9 (27:35):
Absolutely have a great day.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Love.
Speaker 6 (27:39):
Wait, I have a funny story to tell you, guys.
I just remembered because she said that Both of her
grandparents' names were Jerry, and so that's where Jerica came from.
My biological father's name is Terry, and they couldn't think
of another name. So his sister's name is Terry Ann.
It's so dumb to me.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
Wow, that's hilarious.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Heiky, Zach and man in the morning.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
It's time, Well, it is time for the Daily double
just we're going.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
To play it. These people, it's a couple.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
They went to Gatlinburg to stay at a cabin in
the mountains and they had a problem with where they
ended up being.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
That just makes you wonder about people, like, what are
they thinking?
Speaker 10 (28:25):
It is Okay, we are in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We just
checked into our cabin and we are leaving our cabin.
Actually we're gonna go stay downtown GATLINBURGA.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
It's way too slow.
Speaker 10 (28:36):
We're not it's beautiful view, you know. However, however, this
is the driveway and for people that are in mountains
this might not be a big deal. For us who
who don't live in mountains, this is kind of a
big deal, especially late at night. It's supposed to rain tomorrow.
This scares me. The whole mountain that we have to
drive through is very uphill, so we're leaving.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
We actually decided.
Speaker 10 (28:56):
That not only are we leaving here, we're gonna stay
downtown Allenburg for the first two nights and then we
are going to travel throughout Tennessee.
Speaker 4 (29:03):
At this rate, it's a mountain.
Speaker 6 (29:05):
What do you think happens when you say in a mountain, Oh,
it's really uphill.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
No, yeah, this mountain is too uphill.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
It's very steep in this mountain crazy. He just makes
you want they.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Went to stay in the mountains when they were surprised
that it was the mountains.
Speaker 6 (29:23):
Uh huh, my brain hurts.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
Really makes you wonder about people.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
Okay, all right, we're gonna put the video up the
day of double tap every day goes up on our
Instagram stories at one oh seven five the river on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
I'm usually not for shaming people, but shame on them.
Speaker 5 (29:36):
Keep saying a hawk because I think I'm gonna say
something real mean.
Speaker 6 (29:39):
I just keep thinking of like, yo, I went to
the beach and there's too much sands. I'm leading, what
do you expect?
Speaker 3 (29:44):
It's the same, literally insane.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
I'm gonna stop talking about I'm gonna post it on
the River's Instagram account.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Like Kevin said right in our stories, you could watch
it
Speaker 1 (29:52):
There Rafew, Zach and Menno in the morning
