Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Let's go good morning friends, six o'clock on the DOT
on this Thursday morning.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:07):
The conclave is currently underway, which means that the cardinals
are inside the Cystine Chapel. They're ready to work on
picking a new pope. They did that all day yesterday.
As of now, reports are saying that Cardinals Pietro Perilyn
and Louis Antonio Gackam Taggle are considered front runners for
the next pope. They use smoke signals to announce the
outcome of the papal conclave Cardinals castor vost in secret.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
It's an entirely secretive thing that they do.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
They block themselves off from everybody inside the Cystine Chapel.
The ballots are burned in special stoves with chemicals to
produce smoke. So black smoke indicates that no consensus has
been reached. When you see it coming out of the
chimney outside of it, white smoke signifies that there has
been a successful election to a new pope. Yesterday there
was black smoke coming from the chimney, so that means

(00:56):
that the people that they had voted for had not
gotten the proper amount of votes in order to become
the next Pope. I'll keep you updated on that as
more and more unfolds. Lego is releasing a new black
Dahlia set inspired by the Netflix show Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
This is super cool.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
So the set includes a black dahlia plant has leaves
and bright purple buds in a vase that resembles a
mini conservatory. Once you build it, you can remove the
flower to unlock the vase and reveal a classroom that's
inside with removable desks. There's two mini dollars of Wednesday
Adams A Professor Marilynd Thornhill. The official three hundred and

(01:33):
fifty eight piece Lego set is going to be released
August first, which is just in time for the next season,
which part one comes out August sixth of Wednesday, So
you can make your little Lego set while you watch
I Kind Of Love That IDEA.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Franklin Cocktail Festival is happening June seventh.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
It's an evening of cocktails happening at west Haven Lake
from five to eight pm. Tickets include ten sample sized
cocktails and access to.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
All areas of the event.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
There are vipn party tickets that are still available to purchase. Obviously,
you know me, You know I love a good cocktail fest,
so I had to throw that in there. And uh,
like I said, happening June seventh, Franklin Cocktail Festival.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Thank you for that, Ricky, appreciate it, and thank you
for being here starting your day with us all week.
For the first caller of the day, we have tickets
to see Rob Thomas of Matchbox twenty.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
He's got a new album on the way.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
He's doing a new Toury's going to be in Nashville
and we've got those for you about six fifteen.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Okay, your chance to call him, win him right here
on the River.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning, Meemi and.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Clark's good morning, welcome to one oh seven five the River.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
How's your morning going so far? Good?

Speaker 6 (02:37):
Pretty good, Jamie. When you're getting ready in the morning,
do you have to wear a matching socks? So do
you not care?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
They?

Speaker 6 (02:44):
Okay, good, we can.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Sell me for it.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Okay, you'r's not matching?

Speaker 6 (02:47):
The spots out.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
They have to be there are plenty of people out
there that do the mismatch socks thing, though, and I'll
never understand that.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
I used to, really yeah, for a very long time.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
I used to just throw all my socks in one
box and then pull out whatever was clean.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
A level of chaos. I can't.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
I have a little OTP. I can't do that.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
I understand. My middle name is chaos, though, so I
just kind of roll with it.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
That's facts.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I thought it was Morgan Jamie. Thank you so much
for hanging out with us. You are the first caller
of the day this morning on one of seven five
the River.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
My husband's gonna be.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
Very excited about this.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I'm good. That's great. How old your husband?

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (03:24):
Drop his age?

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (03:26):
So Kevin's asking that because the tickets are going to
see Rob Thomas or Matchbox twenty and Zach and I
have been kind of making fun of him a little
bit about the age groups of who really you know
thrived during the Matchbox twenty era.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I love Rob Thomas, our boss John and love Drops.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
We're both forty one years old.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
I love Rob Thomas. I'll tell you my age. I'm
thirty nine.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Okay, perfect, you're right there. With which makes sense.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Yeah, with the age group.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Jamie, we hope that you and your husband both have
so much fun of the concert.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
Enjoy.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Thank you for hanging out with us again. We appreciate
you so much.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
We're gonna put you on a hole to get your info.
But drive safe out there and have a great day, Jamie.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
All right.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
I also make fun of you guys, but I did
love Matchbox twenty as well.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
You still love Matchbox I do.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
It's the way that you guys talk about it though,
as if it was like your heyday. That's what really
makes me nostalgia the good old days.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
We've got more tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (04:25):
Ricky Zach and Meno Morning.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
White the day Yesterday as a whole.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
It's Ricky Zachamano in the morning on one O seven
five of the River. We got to partner with both
Joe Jonas and a local cafe here, Cafe Baboo.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah, that place is great.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
It's so cool to do.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Like the craziest thing ever.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
He's been doing these pop ups in certain areas around
the country where you know, it's a cup of Joe
with Joe and he performs for everybody.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Yeah, not just Joe Jonas and the newest member of
his band, Ricky Sanchez.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yes, that was.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Entirely by accident. So here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
The entire place was haagged out. Okay, there were so
many people there. There were people who came at four
point thirty in the morning to make sure that they
got a good seat and a good place for them
to actually watch and perform. There were people who came
from Chicago, from California, from all over.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
The place to be there yesterday for this.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Because he's also he announced that he was gonna do
a Bluebird Cafe also last name Yeah, sold out so fast,
so this was the only other way to see the man.
It was insane. People were crowded around everywhere. Like Kevin
said prior to this break was there were people across
the street on both angles. There were people behind the
freaking cafe Baboo.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
It was really felt like he was the Queen of
Angler people like holding up babies.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Like it was.

Speaker 9 (05:44):
It was just wild and he was so nice, like
he was signing everything for everybody. He was taking selfies
with everyone. My favorite part of the entire day is
he got out of his car and he was walking
towards the stage and there was a Golden retriever right there,
and he got on the garden started petting the dog,
and then he walked away and the person called someone
and was like.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Mom, Joe Jonas his pet bell, now.

Speaker 6 (06:06):
It's the dog's name. Like she was freaking out because
Joe Jonas had her dog.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
It was so cute.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
There was a very sweet moment where a little girl
started to cry because he had stopped as he was
leaving and to talk to her and hug her, and
it was really sweet. It's posted at one of seven
five of the River like you can watch it in
the stories.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Just an adorable moment.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I saw it up close and personal because there were
so many people there, and I did a quick little
interview with him prior to his performance and then introed him.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
And after I introed him, I didn't have anywhere to go.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
You're just landlocked. You could not get off that whole
stage and it's.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Such a tiny little area for him to perform because
there were so many people there and there was nowhere
for me to go. His bodyguard was cutting off like
where anybody could walk to, so that obviously he had
space and he wasn't being like crowded.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Was this the bodyguard who you are the size of
one of his arms?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
That yet?

Speaker 5 (06:56):
No different guy his actual bodyguard. But I couldn't move.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
So I'm so sorry to everyone who I'm behind in
pictures and videos. I couldn't go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I keeps it every time I open my Instagram feet
there's another outlet posting footage from this thing yesterday, and
Ricky is just right there, literally right behind you.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
At first, I was like, okay, just don't move and
don't make any like sudden anything. Nobody will notice that
you're there. And then I was like, well, now I
feel awkward.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
It was just so weird, right, That's.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Not how I normally am at a concert or performance.
I'm like feral at concerts. So I was like, well,
I got.

Speaker 5 (07:33):
To sing and dance a little bit.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Zach and I were in the street talking like, well,
if we chop that tree down, we might be able
to see.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Yeah, meanwhile, you're on stage the old time.

Speaker 9 (07:43):
We were trying to get a view and literally I
was like, just just rip the tree out.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
I can't see.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
It was great. It was great. It was a great interview.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Thanks again to Joe Jonas and the folks at Cafe Badly.
That place is so I would love to do more
stuff like this there in the future Cafe.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Also shout out to Ricky Manning because he's on the bio,
came out and he did a few songs before Joe
Jonas did. Him and Joe have been like communicating on
social media and stuff like that. Joe found him and
brought him out and he is phenomenal. If you've never
heard of Ricky Manning, go check him out. Well worth it.
So shout out to him too for also being so kind.

Speaker 9 (08:16):
You were not there yesterday and you want to see
all of the videos. We do have a lot posted
on our Instagram. Just follow us. It's at one O,
seven and five the River. They're all up in the
Instagram story. Like the videos are so good, Like it's
so up close. I'm personal Shoe and Ricky right there
see me.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
Did you look at that chick Ricky r c K.
I'm just dancing in the background to that point.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Make sure you're following us on Instagram because that's where
we announce more things like this, yea than we do
in the future.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
Three days.

Speaker 8 (08:41):
You need to know.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Here we go just after seven o'clock on this Thursday,
May eighth, or mayth as I like to call it.
Ricky Santes has those math May eighth, maith, It's gonna
catch on.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
It's not Ricky.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
What the heck is going the studio? The show has
been renewed for second season. If you haven't seen it
or heard of it, it was co created and stars
Seth Rogan as a movie executive who is elevated to
president of a fictional studio, and he quickly realizes that
he might be in over his head for this new job.
News of another season comes two weeks prior to the

(09:17):
season finale, which will air May twenty.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
First.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
You can watch season one right now on Apple TV Plus.
I know that Kevin has it added to his list.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
I have it added to dimes. I see it. I
really want to see the show.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
There are just so many TV shows out right now
that we can't keep up, and it stresses Kevin out
more than me.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
He already looks stressed thinking about it. But it is
out now season one.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Like I said, the season finale will happen May twenty first,
Disney has revealed plans for a new theme park in
Abu Dhabi, so This is pretty cool.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
New Disneyland is being built in Abu Dhabi's Yas Island.
It's going to be the most.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
High tech park that they've ever had thus far, which
is crazy to think about. There's going to be a sleek,
modern castle that's going to rise from the desert. Just
wild stuff coming out here. Project is going to be
the first Disney ever in the Middle East. Obviously, this
is a huge deal for them. Disney is wild to me.
The amount of people that you know, save up for

(10:12):
so long to go to Disney and not only just
once but multiple times expensive, So this is probably going
to end up being the most expensive one to go to.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
Start saving now.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
We don't know when it's going to be built, like
the finished product is going to be available for you
to actually go to, But start saving now. If you
love Disney and you want to check out this new
Disneyland that's going to be in n Abu Dhabi. And
the entrance to Shelby Park is closed for sinkhole repairs,
pretty wild stuff. The section of Davidson Street broke off
the asphalt. It's sliding towards the Cumberland River bank that's

(10:45):
below it. Yeah, it's not Great so Metro Park envisions
that Davidson Street entrance is going to be closed into
late October twenty twenty five, so quite a while. Visitors
to the park have been advised to use an alternate
route up Navl Hill in order to get into the
park from the other side. So just know that if
you're going to Shelby Park you just can't get through.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
The Davidson Street.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Avoid that area too, because the whole thing is blocked
off because it's going to take them, like I said,
quite a while to fix it, and you just don't
want to add to any traffic patterns that are going
to be messed up. We don't need more traffic here
in Nashville anywhere. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Thank you, Ricky.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Here's Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars jumping back into the music.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
It's time for Zack's facts.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Right after the song, we are all learning together on
the River one seven five the River.

Speaker 8 (11:30):
Haiky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
About time to learn something new. It's Zach's fax.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
I'll want to seven five of the river.

Speaker 9 (11:36):
If you had to take a guess, what would you
say it's a state beverage of Tennessee.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
See beverage whiskey.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
That's what I was thinking.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
Oh, milk.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
What apparently the state beverage of Tennessee is milk?

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Is it because hot chicken? When you eat hot stuff,
you should drink milk like on the like on hot ones.

Speaker 9 (11:55):
Will go with that theory, Kevin, I hate milk. I
don't drink regular milk either. So but there's your fact.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Of the day, right, thanks, Zach.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
We change it to whiskey.

Speaker 6 (12:05):
Our petition, the beverage of Kevin Mano is whiskey.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
One oh seven five the River Backy Zach and Meno
in the morning.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
This week is a special week and one that we
love to celebrate on one oh seven five of the River.
It is small business Week. So we like to do
this every year where we have you call us six
one five seven, three seven nine, one oh seven, shout
out a local small business that you love.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
We love local. I'll go first, Ladybird Taco. I knew
you were going to say that anybody.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Else Kevin needs to be sponsored by Ladybird Taco.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Yeah. I am mostly made up of Lady Bird tik.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
Literally that is what your body is made up of.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
So if you have a local spot that you love,
Zach and I also have a.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
Few that we will tell you about. Share with the class.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Let everybody know where they need to shop, where they
need to uh spend their dollar, because it's important that
we do that here in Nashville.

Speaker 5 (12:52):
We give back to our community.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
One O seven five the River.

Speaker 8 (12:56):
Reacky, Zach and Meno in the Morre.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
This week is Small Business Week.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
We love celebrating Small Business Week and we love hearing
from the community about the places that we should support.
It's Ricky Zecamano in the morning on one O seven
five the River, Harper and Hendersonville. Tell us a small
business that you love.

Speaker 10 (13:12):
Moby Dickie's My Gig and Poppy's restaurant.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Moby Dickie's. Okay, you're Gigi and Poppy's restaurant. We're gonna
look it up. We're gonna go.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
Thank you, Bye bye, everybody.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Go eat to Moby Dickie's.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Meghan and Franklin, good morning, welcome to the river. Shout
out that small business.

Speaker 10 (13:28):
Hey, my husband and I own ground restaurant and Franklin, Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Okay, so after you eat at Moby Dickie's go to
Brown restaurant.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
What is your best thing on your menu?

Speaker 10 (13:39):
So our most popular item is the four alarm burger
and it's super spicy. It has haladinos infused into the meat.

Speaker 7 (13:48):
We patty our own mete.

Speaker 10 (13:49):
Everything is made in Holls and you can't go wrong
with anything, but the poor alarm is definitely worth's at heck.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
Yeah, Meghan, I love anything spicy. So you're speaking my
love language right now. House is watering.

Speaker 7 (14:01):
Oh good?

Speaker 8 (14:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (14:02):
Well, we have two locations in Franklin. We have one
of us brothers in Cool Springs. Know, we have another
one located on West Main clows to downtown Franklin, as
well as.

Speaker 7 (14:11):
A food truck and what's it called again, ground restaurant?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Oh I thought you said Brown. I was trying to
search it over here and not finding it ground.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Okay, cool, Yeah, amazing.

Speaker 10 (14:20):
We are at ground east on social media, so definitely
give us a followup.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
Awesome.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
Thank you so much for calling Megan.

Speaker 7 (14:25):
Yeah, thank y'all.

Speaker 10 (14:26):
Have a great day.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Thank follow you.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
I We'll do one more right now. Matthew and Nashville
go ahead. You want to shout out a small local biz.

Speaker 10 (14:33):
Absolutely, that would have to be the urban underground that
have coffee.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
It's a chill spot and it's also a dispensary too.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Oh okay, I heard of it before.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
Yeah, I think one of my friends I think posted
about it recently.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
Because that sounds familiar, We're gonna have to check it out.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Is urban spelled by chance?

Speaker 8 (14:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Like herb Yeah?

Speaker 5 (14:57):
Nice? Okay, thank you so much for calling it, Matthew.

Speaker 7 (15:02):
You're so welcome.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Bye guy, to see you, buddy. I guess we have
time for one more. Let's do one more. Sidney and Nashville,
your turn, go ahead. My mom's balloon business called nash Pop.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Oh your mom runs it?

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Yeah? Okay, and I'm assuming does she do like balloon
arches and those cool things that I could never even
imagine creating myself for.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Parties and stuff? Okay, cool? Well, thank you guys. Yeah,
good luck with the bizz.

Speaker 7 (15:28):
Thank you bye, guys.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Shop local. We always say it, Ricky, do you have
one you want to?

Speaker 4 (15:33):
I love NB Goods. I have a hat from NB
Goods that I'm obsessed with. They have hoodies that are
so comfortable. The owner is the sweetest person ever. Kamille
is so kind. I highly support just going and checking
them out. They have like vintage T shirts, they have
their own stuff everything you can ever imagine, sunglasses, things
like that, like all there and I just highly recommend

(15:54):
supporting and Zach.

Speaker 9 (15:56):
I love Thistle Farms. I think they're one of the
coolest organizations. They're here in Mawasgow and they like help
women get back on their feet that I got through
a difficult situation. So they have like candles, body washes,
they have so many different things, but Thistle Farms is
one of my favorite here in Now that's a.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
Great place to go for a Mother's Day gift.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
It is, yeah, really all that. It's coming up on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
If you have one you want to shout out six
one five, seven, three seven nine one o one o seven.

Speaker 8 (16:20):
Five Rickey, Zach and Mennow in the.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
MoU Chassaity and Murphy's Borough go ahead.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Well.

Speaker 7 (16:25):
I work for McCurry Van and Car Rentals here in
Murphury's Borough and we are a small family owned car
rental agency. We cater to the part of the demographics
that can't go to enterprise and pay a three hundred
and dick y'allar deposit, so we do no security checks,
no security deposits, and we take deb a cards.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
I love that because it's expensive to rent a car.

Speaker 7 (16:48):
It is, and we have the best rate.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Okay. And what is it called.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
Again, McCurry van and car rentals?

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Okay, amazing, just between us. How's business is it good?

Speaker 5 (16:58):
It's great.

Speaker 7 (16:58):
It's actually great. We're I think we're like doubling in
profit every month and we've only been open since June.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
Wow, that's phenomenal. I love to hear that.

Speaker 7 (17:07):
Thank you you guys. Have a great rest of your day.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
You too, Kyle and Laverne shout out the small business
that we should support.

Speaker 10 (17:14):
Yes, mall, it's called crane works. Be surprised how how
many people need cranes each day?

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Crane Okay, yeah, if you look at the Nashville skyline
these days, it's it's mostly cranes yet there.

Speaker 5 (17:26):

Speaker 5 (17:34):

Speaker 6 (17:45):
Oh okay, what does that mean? What do you do?

Speaker 3 (17:47):
What is that?

Speaker 8 (17:49):
So?

Speaker 7 (17:49):
My husband, my husband and I store. It's actually where
I met him. Oh, but we have like retail items
and ice cream.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
Okay, go in, eat ice cream and shop.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
And find a husband.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Yeah we already found the husband part. But if I
can eat ice cream and shop at the same time,
that sounds like a lovely day.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:09):
We're located on Via Lendon Square.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
Amazing. Thank you so much for calling in. I hope
people go check it out.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
Yeah, thank you guys.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Again, we're having this conversation because it's Small Business Week
and we always here at the River. We're talking about,
you know, supporting local businesses. We're constantly hearing about places
going out of business, so it's good to shop local
and support them.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
We've got tickets for Jesse Murph around the way with
the Game.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Of the Day, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Been playing topical trivia all week long on one O
seven five the River for Kevin Man Who's game of
the day. You're playing for Jesse Murph tickets. She's playing
a send Amphitheater September thirteenth. You can be there, Devin
and levinon if you win today.

Speaker 8 (18:48):
Yay, are you doing Devin?

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Devin rhymes with Kevin. I like you already. How you doing?

Speaker 5 (18:57):
I'm doing good?

Speaker 10 (18:58):
How are you all this morning?

Speaker 5 (19:00):
We're doing great.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
I love that Kevin's so ridiculous that he's already left
you speechless and we haven't even started.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
The game yet.

Speaker 7 (19:06):
Y'all make my morning every day.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Oh, thank you, thank you for saying that.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
I hope you win these tickets. You got to get
two out of three of the questions.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Right to win.

Speaker 6 (19:15):
Okay, sound good?

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Topical trivia questions ripped from the headlines things happening in
the world around us. Devin, your game starts right now.
We were talking about this earlier today, which Jonas brother
was at the Bluebird Cafe last night?

Speaker 10 (19:33):
Is it Joe?

Speaker 5 (19:34):
It was Joe.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
We did a thing with him earlier in the day
at Cafe Baboo was awesome, and then yes, he was
at Bluebird last night.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
You get this next.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
One, right, you win the tickets named two of the
eight NBA team still competing in the playoffs.

Speaker 7 (19:51):
Okay, is it the Lakers.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
No, they are out. So no, you did not get
that one right.

Speaker 5 (19:57):
It's okay.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
You still have a question left. If you get this
last one right, then you get the tickets.

Speaker 7 (20:01):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Kylie Jenner is in the news right now after finally
making her red carpet debut with What a List.

Speaker 8 (20:08):
Actor Timothy.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Caa yeah, man, that was a nice uh suspense building
pause in between Timothy and Challa Bay.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
That was great.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
Boo.

Speaker 7 (20:22):
Congratulations, Thank you.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
You're so welcome to have so much fun.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
You're going to see Jesse Murph at a cent ampitheater
September thirteenth.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
We're so proud of you.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
You made me a little nervous, but I'm hyped that
you got these tickets.

Speaker 7 (20:35):
I'm so excited. My daughter is gonna love this.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Great.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, you guys are going to see Jesse wait for it, Murph.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Thank you all right.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Hang on, Thank you for listening, Thanks for starting your
day with us.

Speaker 10 (20:47):
Of course, thank you.

Speaker 8 (20:49):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Okay, just after eight o'clock, Thank you so much for
starting your day with us.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
Next Monday is going to be a great day because
starting next Monday, the federal Trade Commission is going to
start enforcing the rule on unfair or deceptive fees for
live event tickets like concerts, so sellers must prominently display
the total price of the ticket, including all charges and fees.
They also have to have a clearly itemized list to
avoid vague terms like convenience and processing fees.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
Very excited about this.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
Because this is something that's been in the works for
quite a while. This is a huge deal for anybody
who obviously likes to buy tickets or anything, and hopefully
they push this out across so many other like avenues
and areas where we buy things. Because the idea of
a quote unquote convenience fee, what does that mean?

Speaker 5 (21:36):
What are you using that for? Like convenience for you
or me?

Speaker 4 (21:40):
What's happening here? So that all starts next Monday. Netflix
is getting a makeover and adding new features. So for
the first time in a decade, Netflix is making things
a little different. They're gonna have a fresh user interface.
A lot of it's gonna be powered by AI. It's
in order to help subscribers find shows faster and smarter,
so they're gonna use a search.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
Tool and they've moved it so it's.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
Not going to be where it typically is. They've moved
it from the left side of the menu to the top.
So the idea here is that you can type in
like the moods that you're feeling, and it can generate
a list of different things that you can watch. There's
also going to be new features like personalized badges, so
if you really care about shows that have won awards,
you can put that as a preference, so things will

(22:23):
have a badge that say Emmy Award winner.

Speaker 5 (22:25):
For you if you really like specific series.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
It will alert you when new seasons are going to
be coming out and are on the way, so it's
going to keep you updated about everything that you needed
to be updated on. And Netflix has debuted the ability
for viewers to choose between captions for dialogue with background
sounds or just dialogue. So all of the new features
that Netflix is rolling out, which is great. I'm happy
that they have new features considering that they keep making

(22:50):
it more expensive.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Right, so they better.

Speaker 5 (22:52):
Keep doing new things. So this is a good news.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
And the Ryman Auditorium is going to host their annual
rhymean C Community Day on Sunday, May twenty fifth, so
they're going to offer free tours, family friendly activities.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
There will be food trucks there.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
They will also have on site printmaking and both indoor
and outdoor performances.

Speaker 5 (23:11):
It's free to go to this, which is the best
part of it.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
All you have to do is enter your zip code
on their website and grab yourself some free tickets for
this for May twenty fifth. I'm Maricky Sanchez and those
are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 8 (23:22):
One O seven five The River, Reicky Zach and Meno
in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Gofund Me is used for some great things. Obviously, some
great causes end up on go fundme for people who
really need the help, but also some people use it
for some really interesting choices.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
I have seen some insane things on there.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Okay, well, I have a list of some of the
most insane.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Zeck you seem like a GoFundMe guy, like, if you
want lunch one day, you're gonna start a go fund
me your something.

Speaker 6 (23:46):
No, I'm just gonna send you a vino request to.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Ricky's gonna run these down some of the craziest ones.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Right after Morgan wall and on the Rivers one O
seven five The River, Reiky.

Speaker 8 (23:56):
Zach, and Mano in the morning, I'm gonna go.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Ricky said that, uh, she found a list of some
of the craziest go.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
Fundmes out there.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
I mean there are great ones all the time, people
raising money for you know, procedures they need to have done.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Yeah, things that are very important.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
But some people take advantage of GoFundMe and ask for
some insane things.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
Yeah, some really wild concepts here.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
Like this person who asked for twelve hundred dollars to
fix her mistake of booking the wrong plane ticket for
her bridesmaids girl.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
No, I mean I feel bad for her, but no.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Like what this guy who wants to purchase Dave Grohl
for thirty five thousand dollars.

Speaker 6 (24:35):
Can you just buy him like that?

Speaker 3 (24:36):
I don't think so. I feel like Dave grol would
probably have.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Something to do he can, he said, You know, I
just want to hang out with Dave and high.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Five him and thirty five grand thirty.

Speaker 5 (24:45):
Five thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
A guy who said that he will die if you
don't give him money for a treadmill because running outside
in the winter is dangerous.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Well, we can't kill the man. We got a pitch him.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
So yeah, I would give him like at least five bucks.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
This woman who wants five hundred dollars to celebrate her
twenty fifth birthday at a music festival, insisting that she
deserves it because it's been quote a crazy twenty four
years and quote self care is a crue, is crucial,
and music is my therapy.

Speaker 6 (25:14):
I mean, honestly, I would donate to that.

Speaker 9 (25:16):
Like if one of my friends was like, Hey, for
my birthday, this is what I really want to do,
I would probably donate to.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
As you're talking about a friend, this woman wants birthday gift.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
This is a stranger.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
Wants people to just pay for her to go there.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
There were more hold on where did it go? Oh,
there's a stupid ad that popped up?

Speaker 3 (25:35):
Oh, pop up?

Speaker 2 (25:36):
As it's just so many pups. I mean there was
a part of me that's like jealous. I didn't think
of some of these first, you know, like the woman's
one people to send her to a music festival, I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
I mean, it gets out there, it spreads around the internet.
She's probably making something.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Yeah, I mean that's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
There's also a lot of people that just want vacations,
lots of people who just want vacations, gaming systems another
big one.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
You might as well put it out there. If you
want stuff, you know, I don't know what's the hard
or if you don't ask. The answer is always guys.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
There's a girl who wants money so she can go
to her fifty second fish show, like the band fish
show fifty.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Second too many fish.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
That's insane. So yeah, there's just a lot of crazy
people out here.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
I understand what you're saying, that the idea of if
you don't ask, then no one's gonna give it to you.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
Nobody should give any of this to anyone.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I mean, I agree with what you're saying, but you
are making me want to start a gofund me.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Now, please go start to go fund me for the
most ridiculous thing and see if we can raise some
money for.

Speaker 9 (26:37):
If there are people out there that are willing to
just throw their harder money away, I.

Speaker 6 (26:41):
Might as well be the one that sticks from it.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Yeah, so Zach, let's put our heads.

Speaker 8 (26:45):
Together, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
Ricky, did you ever have like a made up language
when you were a kid?

Speaker 4 (26:53):
I did for a little while with my stepsister, But
like I don't remember any of it.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
I had something I called whoopy talk, but it was
really there was no words.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
It was just like like some gibberish. Oh yeah, okay, why.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Does that not surprise me? Okay, well this is all
is for a reason. We're about to play you the
Daily double Tap. I want to seven five of the river.
These two moms, they have their own made up language
when they were growing up. This is how they used
to talk to each other, and they did it as
adults for their kids and just blew their mind.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
It's very cool they still remember and I love that.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
Here we go, gas, it's hot outside?

Speaker 8 (27:30):
What?

Speaker 4 (27:33):
But again again to the gam the.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
When is Sam getting a pool?

Speaker 8 (27:41):
I see you guys do it.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
It seems we're saying because I feel like I should
know what we're saying.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
I feel like there's a pattern there that I want
to I want to dissect and figure out.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
You know what it's called pig Latin.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Well that wasn't pig Latin. Yes it was.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
No.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Pig Latin would just be if I said Zach would
be ax. That's not what they were doing.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
They were doing in pig Latin. Like that's how I
learned how to do it.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
I don't look at me, guys, I know both of
them just looked at me as if I could clarify
whether or not it was pig lie I taking.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
The first letter and putting it at the end and
adding an a sound like you read how I learned it?

Speaker 6 (28:14):
So I learned like their pig really.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
Yeah, I have no idea what either of you are
talking about.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
You guys are confusing me. The mom's confused me. It's
pretty wild that they still remembered it. That was the
whole point.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Of my God.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Now I want to know are there different versions of
pig Latin out there?

Speaker 3 (28:32):
It must be. There must be.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
You're gonna put it out the video open scene going
up at our Instagram stories at one of seven five
of the river. You don't know pig Latin. That was
never a thing.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
I don't know why you're acting like that's a normal
thing that everybody just learns at some point in j.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
I hate this.

Speaker 8 (28:52):
