Three things you Good morning. Here we go just after
six o'clock on this Wednesday morning. Another warm one out there.
Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
I hate the weather. I just know that it's miserable
out there, sticky and gross. But anyway. Comedian Shane Gillis
will host the SPS. He has touted himself as a
big sports fan. You may have seen him in the
Super Bowl ad with Posty, so this feels like a
good fit. The SP's are happening in July sixteenth. I
believe who did it last year? Was it Serena Williams
(00:33):
did it last year?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Did she host?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I think she hosted last year? Please do, please do,
because you know following big Shoes if that's the case.
Tony Hawk has teamed up with Taco Bell for his
own lux Cravings box. It features all of his favorites,
so cheesecase, Adia, crunchy taco chips with nacho cheese, and
a lipt in iced tea very specific order we have here.
(00:56):
The collub is available now through their app and their website,
tied to the upcoming release of Tony Hawk pro Skater
three and four on July eleventh. Pro Skater that just
brings you back Tony Hawk pro skater. It's wild to
think about. Like my brother and I used to play
all the time together. So fans actually have a chance
to win a bunch of in game gear and you know,
(01:18):
a bunch of skateboards and all sorts of stuff early
game demos by ordering through the app and also by
becoming a Taco Bell Rewards member. So if you are
one already, go check out all the things you have
a chance of winning. Some of them are autographed skateboard decks,
which is pretty sick, So go check that out, especially
if you love Taco Bell as well, and order in.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
The app all the time, real quick before you move
on to story number three. Yes, Serena Williams did host
last year.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
It was correct Big Shoes to fill their Shane, so
we'll see how he does. And Tennessee has been ranked
among the most dangerous states for commuters. I know that's
not so great to hear as you're driving around right now,
but it's just the reality. According to the study, Tennessee
to four point four accidents per ten thousand commuters, making
(02:04):
it number four on the list. With the state's average
twenty five minute commute time It also is the longest
commute on the top ten most dangerous states for commuting.
Number one on the list was Illinois, which I was
not expecting. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three
things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
When was the last time you were in an accident
here in Tennessee.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
I wasn't in an accident here in tenn Okay?
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Good?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, never never. I don't drive a lot either.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
I try to stay my little Yeah, you live five
minutes away.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
From work, Let drive all that far.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
That makes sense.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
My friends is very jealous.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
My wife nor I have been in an accident.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
That's surprising.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Well, yeah, I'm a terrible driver.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
But are horrific.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I'd just like to go, like to get places quickly.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
You're bad.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
I'm surprised I don't get more there.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
What am I doing?
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I shouldn't be throwing myself under the bus like this.
Good morning, thanks for being here. We've got those Noah
Siris tickets. He's going to be at the rhyme and
we've had them all week for the first caller of
the day.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
You can get those within ten minute.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
It's right here on the river seven.
Speaker 7 (03:03):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Wonder in Nashville. Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
How you doing this morning?
Speaker 8 (03:10):
Great?
Speaker 6 (03:10):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
I'm good. I'm a little sleepy, but I'm all right.
I don't like the weather right now.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
I'm so over at being hot.
Speaker 8 (03:17):
Oh same way, too hot?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Yeah, as we got days more of this.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
It's like dangerously hot outside. Take care of your elderly
friends and your pets and your neighbors and everything.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
What are you doing right now? Hunter?
Speaker 8 (03:29):
Drive into work?
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Tell us what you do.
Speaker 8 (03:31):
I'm attack to count it.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
That's what I used to tell people when they asked
what I did for work, because nobody asks you questions
when you say.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
That you're attacked, I'm sorry.
Speaker 8 (03:43):
Uh no.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Do you enjoy it?
Speaker 6 (03:44):
Yep?
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Not too bad.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Is this like a sort of a downtime for you guys?
Are you still busting your hump over there?
Speaker 8 (03:50):
No, it's down.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
It could be worse.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Do you find that people like actually do ask you questions?
Because now I'm curious.
Speaker 9 (03:58):
Sometimes I just feel like I I don't know anything
about it enough to ask questions.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Like you're just like, oh, you're an accountant, okay.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
What kind of calculator do you have?
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Kevy.
Speaker 8 (04:09):
Yeah, I work in the music industry, so it does
make it a little more interesting.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Okay, fine, cool, which also makes sense, I guess. I
mean you're here in Nashville. There's probably plenty of musicians
that need tax accountants.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Right, Can you tell us one of them that should
go to jail for tax fro Kevy Man, Nope, you
tell us off the air.
Speaker 8 (04:29):
Nope.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
You're good at this. You're good at this, and you're
going to being the first caller of the day because
that's what you are. Today. You're getting these tickets to
go see Noah Cyrus on October fifteenth at the Ryeman.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Amazing, awesome, congratulations. Zach is going to be there, so
make sure you look for Zach at the show. He
can probably ask you to do his taxes or something.
Speaker 9 (04:48):
To probably be in the front row screaming. So when
you see the psychopath, that's me.
Speaker 8 (04:53):
Sound be good?
Speaker 3 (04:54):
All right, Hunter, Thanks for calling, buddy, have a great day.
Speaker 8 (04:56):
Thanks you too.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
We have more of those tickets Noah Cyrus the Ryman
tomorrow for the first.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Caller of the day.
Speaker 7 (05:02):
One oh seven five Reiky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
They were with us yesterday listening. You know that Zach's
birthday was yesterday, but he was not here. Correct, that's
because it was ruined.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
It was ruined.
Speaker 9 (05:15):
It's not like I called out because it was my birthday,
which is something that I would very much.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Say, that's the natural assumption.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
But then people wouldn't be able to say happy birthday
to you.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
That's true, So that was not the reason someone ruined
it for me.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
You spent your birthday at the hospital, basically, yeah, not
where you want to spend your birthday. We're gonna play
one song, Chiboozy good News, and we're gonna find out
what happened to Zach on his birthday where he was
big Bummer one.
Speaker 7 (05:37):
Seven five Reiky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
I'm sad to say that Zach's birthday yesterday was entirely
ruined by a very unfortunate event. It's one oh seven
five the River. Yesterday was Zach's birthday. He was in here,
which we talked about the fact that it sounds like
a normal Zach thing to not come in on his birthday. Sure,
but that was not the plan.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
And I will point out that we tried to celebrate
on the air was exactly this time. Yesterday we called
you and we sang and your voicemail you did.
Speaker 9 (06:05):
Indeed, it was really beautiful singing say thank you for plea.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
We really tried, we like practiced and everything beforehand.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
I feel like maybe we should keep the practice going.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Okay, what happened yesterday that ruined your birthday?
Speaker 9 (06:19):
So my boyfriend on Monday passed out and hit his
head in the shower. So I had to leave the
show early on Monday to go pick him up, take
him to the doctor, see what was going on.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
You'll literally pick him up, literally picked he couldn't really move.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (06:34):
Come to find out, apparently he has like a bulging
disc that was like pinching a nerve in his spine.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
So yesterday I had to take off because we had
to go.
Speaker 9 (06:42):
Get an MRI at seven point thirty in the morning,
and then we had the doctor's appointment afterward, and then
had to be the caretaker all day long of making
sure that he got his medicine on time.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
And Zach counts down the days starting like January fourth, Yeah,
his birthday when he can be taken care of, everyone
can pamper him. And yet this man spent his entire
birthday taking care of someone else.
Speaker 9 (07:06):
I will say it definitely gave me a new perspective
and so much more gratitude for caretakers and people that
like do in home health care.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Do you want to tell the class how annoying David
was to you?
Speaker 4 (07:17):
I was exhausted.
Speaker 9 (07:20):
I literally like, I don't know how people do this
for a full time living.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Like I was exhausted.
Speaker 9 (07:24):
We were eating lunch, we had Chipotle, and he like
dropped a couple of things of rice on the ground.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
He goes, oh no, there's rice on the ground. Can
you get that for me?
Speaker 9 (07:33):
There are two very capable golden retrievers right next to
him that could have eaten the rice.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
I mean, you can't expect him. You didn't expect him
to get it there with this bulging disc right, No,
I didn't.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Expect him to get it.
Speaker 9 (07:45):
But it was just like the pitiful way that he said,
making you do everything.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
Oh no, there's rice on the ground. I was like,
oh no, darn.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
I will say I love David so much. He is
not great when he doesn't like feel good.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
No, he is the worst patient lot of us.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Real honestly, most man's terrible too. If he is a
cold You would think this man is dying.
Speaker 9 (08:07):
The smallest inconveniences the end of the world.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
And they mope about it, and it's like, oh, I
just really don't feel good. Get over yourself.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
So once David kind of recovers from all this and
you guys get on the other side of it, are
you going to make him make this up to you
in any way?
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Are you like a little bit bitter about how he
stole your thunder on your birthday?
Speaker 9 (08:24):
No, I don't think I'm gonna make him make it
up to me, because he did buy me gifts, so
I still got presents and had things to open on
my birthday, and my mom had cake delivered to the house,
so we still got to have a birthday celebration.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
This man was just high out of his mind on
pain medication.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
And Zach does have his actual birthday celebration happening this weekend,
so you will have a day to celebrate.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Unless David comes, God allowed you.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
We'll just lock him in the bedroom.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
He's just laying made the music loud.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Enough we won't hear him perfect.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
I like, well, happy birthday, buddy, We're happy to have
you back.
Speaker 9 (08:57):
Thank you for holding down the fort and let me
go take care this pitiful, pitiful man.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Of course, three things you need to know, Well, good morning,
Thank you so much for starting your day with us.
We really do appreciate that he made a great choice.
Ricky Sanchez over here has those three things.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Bonnarou is looking for your feedback on new dates for
the festival. They sent out a survey to a bunch
of fans. If you've ever gone to Bonnaroo, you probably
got one. They're trying to gauge when they should do
the festival next year, so there were options that were
given for later in the summer, in late September or
early October, or even to do it every other year
instead of yearly. This obviously is all because the second
(09:34):
rain related cancelation has happened in four years. This year,
all the camp sites were flooded, attendees were stranded in
the mud. It was a whole thing. Obviously, a lot
of people were concerned about trying to get out, as
well as the fact that they put so much money
and effort into going to Bonnaroo and that wasn't going
to happen anymore. So the survey is looking for input
(09:55):
on different potential challenges of a fall festival, if school
schedules are other concerns would deter somebody from buying tickets.
They're really trying to get as much information from fans
as humanly possible. Organizers say they want fans to be
a part of this planning process. They're going to continue
to seek feedback in the coming months before they actually
announce any dates for the festival next year. If you
(10:18):
want to give your input to this, they do have
the survey on their website. You can look it up
right at just like googling bonaroo to pop up and
you can give all of your feedback of what you
think they should do next year. Five Points Pizzas new
slice window is officially open in the Gulch. I love
this so you'll find it at the Grand Level at
Canopy Nashville and the Gulch. They're serving cheese, pepperoni, and
(10:39):
veggie slices daily from eleven thirty am to eleven pm.
Walk right up to the window in order what you
want and walk away. I love it too. It's a convenient,
obviously good pizza. Great way to get late night food too,
since they're open to eleven PM. Not a lot of
places in Nashville or open that late to eat, so
go check them out when you get a chance. And
Target is keeping back to just supplies at last year's prices.
(11:02):
So this includes their twenty essentials under twenty and a
five dollars backpack that they're bringing back by popular demand.
There's a thousand items priced under five dollars. College door
must have under forty dollars, and students and teachers can
get an extra twenty percent off through the Target Circle
program as well. So save your money as much as
(11:22):
you possibly can. Imrique Sanchez and those are the three
things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
I wonder if there's any like, you know, psychological reasoning
why kids love the Target balls.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
You know those big red balls outside of Target.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Yes, my kids always want to go lay on those
and hug them, and they get so excited to see
the Target balls.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
I didn't know that was a thing. I don't have kids, though,
so I guess it makes sense that I w I
wonder if that's all kids are just my kids Mano family,
they could be.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
I don't know, you all kids like Target bus.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
That's a good question.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Here's Grazie Abrams right after this song we're gonna learn
Zach's pax next one seven five The.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
River, Freaky Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Even though it's not Friday, I feel like we should
do the song since Zach wasn't here yesterday. Point you ready, Yeah,
I'm ready. Zax's got effect, Zax got effect. Zax's got
effect just for you. On one O seven five The River.
Speaker 9 (12:07):
Did you guys know that Abraham Lincoln was a licensed bartender?
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Like before he was president?
Speaker 9 (12:13):
He co owned a general store and was a licensed
bartender in Salem, Illinois.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
I didn't even know that you had to be a
licensed bartender back.
Speaker 9 (12:20):
Then, back in eighteen thirty three shocks. I know, well,
and then he was president.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
You know what I would have ordered if somebodies and
I were at the bar?
Speaker 2 (12:28):
What what?
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Four more and seven?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Oh, I can't finish this pun uh four.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
More and seventh eleven seven?
Speaker 4 (12:38):
What you know?
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Like four score and seven years.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Ago, Kevin, you tried really hard.
Speaker 9 (12:42):
I just have to say that Ricky and I were
both licensed bartender. So this opens us up for presidency.
Speaker 7 (12:48):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
I love that we're going to be president.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Can we run together?
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Yeah? Co ticket, I love it.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Four more and seven beers to go, and there's your
fact of the day and your bad Pune.
Speaker 7 (13:00):
The river Rickie, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Welcome to the heat wave of Nashville. It's disgusting outside
and unfortunately it's gonna be disgusting for a few days.
But it's kind of just something that the entire country
is dealing with right now. And this brings us to
a question that we have for you. Some sayings that
involve the heat.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
It's hotter than a blank? What is that classic old saying?
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Maybe it's been in your family for a long time,
like it's so hot the chickens are laying hard boiled eggs.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
I like that one.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Thanks something along those lines, if you have one six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven. I know, especially living in Tennessee, you
know these old Southern sayings with the Southern heat that
there's so many of them that maybe your parents or
grandparents used to say.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Some of them are really clever, some of them confuse
the heck out of me. So I'm excited to hear we're.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Gonna try to keep it clean.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
I feel like we uh might get some that have
to get bleeped on live radios to try to keep
it clean.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
But if you have one of those sayings about the heat,
we want to hear it. Six one, five, seven, three, seven,
nine one.
Speaker 6 (13:59):
Seven Rachie's Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
We're currently in a heat wave here in Nashville. It
is gross outside. It's rickey. Zach and Mano in the morning.
On one oh seven five the River. We got Janis
and Clarksville on the line. Good morning, Janis, good morning.
Tell us you're hotter than a blank saying.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
So we had to switch it up a little bit
in our house. And you guys may have heard of before,
but we switched it hotter than a witch's broom, hotter than.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
A witch's broom, broom because the other one cannot be
said on the radio, because.
Speaker 5 (14:33):
The other one cannot be said, So we say it's
hotter than a witch's broom in our house hold.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
On though, going back to the other one, I thought
it was colder than a witch's thing.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
We can't say is it hotter hotter?
Speaker 5 (14:43):
Oh, okay, we've we've said it the opposite way. I'm
not sure.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
I feel like my mom always to say colder than
I don't know, we'd have to ask a witch.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Maybe it also changes depending upon where you live, like
maybe you know, because it gets real hot down here
where you grew up, and we get real colder.
Speaker 8 (14:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
And we've also had the saying that hot enough to
fry an egg on a sidewalk.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
That's a good one.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
It's a classic.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Janis, thank you both.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Good yep I Warren in Nashville, Good morning, Welcome to
the river.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Do you have a saying when it's this hot?
Speaker 8 (15:14):
I do.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
One time I heard my grandpa say it's so hot outside.
Speaker 7 (15:18):
I thought fighting over a dog?
Speaker 2 (15:20):
You saw two fire hydrants fighting over a dog.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Because they wanted to get they want to get cooled
down by the dog.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
What dogs do to fire hydrants?
Speaker 4 (15:29):
That's good?
Speaker 3 (15:31):
All right, thanks Warren, appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Man.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Yeah, I like hotter than a toaster and a tanning salon.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Okay, that's pretty good. That's good. I have this one.
It's so hot out. I saw a hound dog chasing
a rabbit and they were both walking.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
Facts.
Speaker 9 (15:48):
I found one that's it's hotter than a two dollars pistol,
and I was like, what does that mean? Apparently, like
back in the nineteen hundreds. Poor pistols with.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Like over heat and explode, oh like cheap little pistols.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
Yeah, that's where they're saying. We've come from a two
dollars pistol.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Oh, Zach, I appreciate the backstory on that, buddy.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
I know you were gonna ask question.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
You gotta have question you very much.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
If you have one six, one five, seven, three, seven,
nine one oh seven hotter than a blank.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
Also, don't forget Maroon five tickets. You can win them
next with the Game of the Day one seven five.
Speaker 6 (16:23):
Rickie, Zach and Menno in the morning to play Kevin
Manno's Game of the Day.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
It's called Numbers and Colors for Maroon five tickets. They're
gonna be at Bridgetone Arena November second, Jeff and murphysborrow
you could be there if you win right.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yes, the game is inspired by the band, you know,
Maroon color five number. So all of these trivia questions,
the answers will have a number or a color.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
How you feel and you feeling confident?
Speaker 1 (16:48):
I have one open World Cup, so mendium I feel
confident for you.
Speaker 8 (16:54):
Jeff, okay, great.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
I appreciate you waking up and just immediately putting the
radio on and call on the river here.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
So thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Sure I think he really wants these tickets. Let's play
the game, Jeff and Murphy's Burrow. Your game starts right now.
What zombie movie with a number in its title is
currently playing in theaters? Later?
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Nice?
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Well done, Well done.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Point on the board.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Another movie question.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
Jack Harlowe recently starred in a remake of what nineties
movie with a color in its title? His new version
came out like two years ago, classic nineties movie remake.
Speaker 8 (17:42):
It's on tip of my tongue.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
I remember Wesley's Nights and fighting.
Speaker 7 (17:48):
Joe.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
If you did it, wow, nice job. All you needed
was one eye open.
Speaker 7 (17:52):
You win.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Congrats Jeff. You're going to go see my room five
when they play Bridge shown arena. I had faith in you.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
Thank you. I didn't even realize the one.
Speaker 8 (18:03):
I thought I had one more to go. I'm still
so slaty.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
We can give you another. We can make this a
three out of five situation if you want.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
No, no, no, congratulations, brother, Thank you for listening, Thank
you for calling.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Have fun at the show, all right, thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
You're welcome. Hang on the line.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
So we can get your info.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
Kay, Okay, what a way to start to day for Jeff.
I know you can just hear his smile still stunts.
Speaker 7 (18:24):
Yeah, great, three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Just after eight o'clock. Thank you for being here, friends.
Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Tight End University had a special guest last night, Miss
Taylor Swift. If you're confused about what tight End University is,
no worries, I got you. It's a program for tight
ends in the NFL to bond during the off season.
Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen created it back
in twenty twenty one. It's been happening since Monday. You've
(18:52):
probably seen reports of Taylor and Travis popping up all
over Nashville. They were seeing at La Jackson and Jason
al Dean's the other night, and she made a surprise
appearance at the charity concert for tight End University at
Brooklyn Bold last night. She performed shake It Off with
our friend Kane Brown at a sold out show. Here's
a little piece of that.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
And the crowd goes absolutely wild.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
No one expected her to actually perform. She didn't have
a guitar. She actually thanked Chase Rice beforehand for lending
his guitar to her because she was not actually planning
to perform. Two years ago. Attendees raised eight hundred k
last year, raised nine hundred k this year. The hope
is to pass a million dollars for charity, so fingers
(19:44):
crossed for that and hopefully they did make all that
money because we love a good cause. Travel experts expect
a record number of Americans to travel for the fourth
July weekend. According to tripa A, more than seventy two
million Americans are expected to travel fifty miles or more
between June twenty eighth and July sixth, which is up
nearly two million from last year. Sixty one million people
(20:06):
are going to drive to their destinations, which is the
highest number ever recorded for the holiday, so keep that
in mind if you are driving anywhere, and about six
million are expected to fly, with top domestic destinations being Orlando, Honolulu,
New York, Seattle, and Miami. So all things to keep
in mind if you are traveling for the holiday, you
want to make sure you give yourself enough time to
(20:26):
get to where you're getting too. And Nashville Pride Festival
is this weekend at Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park. It's
a full weekend packed with things like a parade activations.
They have shows featuring headliners like Kimpetres, Big FRIEDA four
non blondes. Go show up, show out, dress in your
most glittery, exciting outfits and celebrate Pride this weekend in Nashville.
(20:49):
My name is Ricky Sanchez and those are the three
things you need to know.
Speaker 6 (20:52):
One seven five the River, Reikie, Zach and Meno in
the morning, I want to know what you think twenty
sixty five is going to look like.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
This is something that you think, oh scary. I was hoping, like,
you know, we're actually gonna have flying cars or something. Yes,
that never happened, not yet.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
I think this has the potential to get real dark.
Should we try to keep it light? Because yeah, I
mean I feel like I think you.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Guys are the only ones making this dark. I was,
like I said, thinking like flying cars. I'm thinking like
fun stuff.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
Our phones are outing our brains. We're getting dumber.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
So twenty sixty five we're gonna be I mean, okay, okay,
maybe we'll.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Try to be fussed by God. Six one five, seven, three,
seven nine one oh seven, what do you think twenty
sixty five is gonna look like?
Speaker 3 (21:32):
And we're gonna try to be positive flying cars.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
Yes, we're always positive.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
What is your prediction for the future. We want to
hear it right now on the river? What seven five
the river?
Speaker 7 (21:42):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
You're looking ahead to the future twenty sixty five. What
are you predicting? What do you think the world will
look like in twenty sixty five? Sean and Hendersonville, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
What do you think?
Speaker 8 (21:53):
Good morning? Well, you know, given the studies about societal
collapse and resource you see, I think we have a
almost like a great filter to get fast before twenty
sixty five even becomes any kind of realistic, you know,
futuristic thing for us to live in. And it's dark
about it.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
What do you mean by a Greek filter?
Speaker 8 (22:16):
Well, a great filter we have. We have unressolved conflicts
in the world, we have the planet heating up and
new viruses being introduced.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Okay, so Sean's just a really negative ways just like
Kevin Exach. Did I love that all of you guys
got real negative, real fast?
Speaker 8 (22:32):
Well, I mean you have you have to understand that
just look at our current society and how divided we are.
We have to fix a lot of things before we
get to a point where we're willing to make those
strong advancements.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Sean, are you over the age of thirty five?
Speaker 8 (22:47):
I am forty six with a military and intelligence community
career behind me.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
I only asked, you want to like, make you run
for president?
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Sounds so intelligent, right, he sounds like he has a
military intelligence Like that's so well spoken.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Well, you're not ninety though, you can't run quite yet.
Speaker 8 (23:05):
That's that's right, That's right. Maybe when I get a
little older.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
I mean, we've been very with this conversation. We got weird,
but we've been a very divided nation in the past.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
I'm confident we will find our way back again at
one point.
Speaker 8 (23:19):
But what of might I suggest a way to get there?
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Sure? Go ahead, a.
Speaker 8 (23:22):
Centrist party where compromise is a real word.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Compromise that's a big there, Sean, or it's.
Speaker 8 (23:28):
A real word. And I feel like right now there
is no compromise or cooperation. There's nothing we can agree
on it.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
I'm trying so hard to get in here. What do
you think we'll have flying cars?
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Well?
Speaker 8 (23:40):
We have well, we have flying cars now. You can't
afford it, you know, yeah not never drive. Yeah, yeah,
I don't think anywhere. If we if we get our
quote stuff together, we will be slightly yawned that the
flying car metric by twenty sixty five will be in
vision powered vehicles that are putting us you know, one
(24:03):
hundred miles within you know, fifteen minutes. It'll be really that,
It'll be real development.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Thank you for calling, buddy. You were the perfect person
who call us for this. It got a little too
real maybe, but we appreciate.
Speaker 8 (24:19):
Sorry, Hey you guys, have a good day, you too.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Thank you so much for calling.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Ah bye, I need to go lay down after that.
Speaker 4 (24:25):
That it was real.
Speaker 9 (24:26):
I feel like we should like make it a little
bit brighter because I feel like in twenty sixty five,
I'm going to be the most stunning, bit and attractive
seventy three year old man on the planet.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
That's what I'm talking about, Zach.
Speaker 9 (24:37):
Yet, I'm gonna speak it into existence, and I'm going
to be the hottest grandpa to exist.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Be his running mate.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah, there is a reason we're asking this though.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
Right there was like a survey of gen.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Z and it was like there were some negative things
on here, but a lot of positive things. Like a
lot of them think that we could travel to space
super easy. It's going to be a normal situation to
just go to space for vacation kind of thing, okay, Katie,
which's kind of cool and more like not that like
just for rich people, but for everybody that can go
to space. They also think the work week is going
(25:07):
to be thirty hours. That's phenomenal.
Speaker 9 (25:10):
Starting with that conversation, what's super negative?
Speaker 1 (25:15):
I think I do think thirty hours might be more
than what I'm putting in now.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
Though, so I don't think I like that.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
I think you are a weird situation.
Speaker 7 (25:24):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
The River, it's time for the daily double tap.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Every day about this time, just before nine o'clock, we
played some audio from a video that one of us found.
Actually we kind of stumbled upon this one in the
studio here. Ricky and I went to Zanies last night.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
We did. We had a great time.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
We went to a comedy show and this is not
audio from that show, but this is a stand up comedian.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Yes, it's about being older and you're at a bar
and the bar gets a little too bari.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
It is so relatable.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Yeah, for sure. Here thirty seven.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
If I'm at a bar and I'm drinking and I
see a DJ start setting up.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
I react like a storm cloud is approaching the beach.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
I'm like, pack it up, let's go.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
We gotta go.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Leave your phone.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
He's white, it's d M.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
We gotta go.
Speaker 9 (26:11):
That's literally as soon as I see the DJ, I'm like,
and I'm done here.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
It's just so loud.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
You talk some nights that's what you're looking for, Yeah,
very rarely. And then some nights you're like, I can't
hear myself think. And that's how you know you're getting older. Yeah,
you can't have a conversation, you can't think straight. You're like,
what is wrong with me?
Speaker 7 (26:30):
You know?
Speaker 1 (26:31):
My favorite thing at a bar is the like, if
I'm out with some friends, the jukebox, the touch tunes
thing where they.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
Should have those.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
They should have those with the grocery store, Like I
want to be able to, Oh my.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
God, could you imagine touch tunes at the grocery.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
I would love it. It would be literally everywhere.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
I think you're something. Yeah, I don't know if you've
ever had a better idea.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
I appreciate, I'll take
Speaker 7 (26:50):
It's Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
