The original host of the kids show Blues Clues is
launching a podcasts for adults. Steve Burns, who you probably
know is just Steve. He's going to host what he's
calling a continuation.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Of Blues Clues.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
So it's a weekly series called a Live They're gonna
have conversations between Steve and listeners. Many of these listeners
grew up watching him on Blues Clues, and it's all
gonna be about the complexities of being adults in a
very uncertain, weird world. He said in an Instagram post
that he was inspired to make the podcast because it
felt like, quote, lots of people are shouting and no.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
One is listening these days.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
He does have a very active TikTok following for being
someone who will listen.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah, he's inspirational, Yes, exactly. So I love that he's
doing this. Bomb pop the popsicles.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
They're celebrating seventy years, so their seventieth birthday, they're giving
twelve popsicles.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
Oh my god, popsicles was really hard for me to
stay there.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
They're giving away twelve popsicles for a nickel. So from
now until July thirtieth, seventy fans a day can get
a twelve pack of those iconic red, white, and blue
popsicles for a nickel. You just got to go onto
the website bomb pop dot com slash seventy years, You
upload a copy of your receipt, you play a little
nickel game. It's real simple, and then they're gonna give
(01:26):
you your money back a nickel for popsicles.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
How crazy is that? So it's a bit of work, but.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
I mean savings or savings and Cedarstone Park in Smyrna
is getting a new pickleball and tennis court. Sixty new
tennis courts and pickleball courts are going to be added
to the park for residents and guests. The grand opening
for the new courts is gonna happen July first, so
really soon. It's happening at four pm at Cedarstone Park.
An alternative date just in case it rains, will be
(01:52):
July second.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
But it's all happening soon.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
They're jumping on that bandwagon pickleballs everywhere. Amrique Sanchez and
those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Away apparently a big fan for a while there, but
it's here to stay. Ricky, thank you for that. Thank
you for starting your day with us. We've had no
Asiris tickets all week. For the first caller of the
day ten minutes away, we're gonna ask you to call
and get those riding on the river.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning, and Andrea and
Lebanon on the line. Good morning, Andrea. Hi, how's your
Friday going so far?
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Andrea?
Speaker 5 (02:23):
It's so far, so can drive it into it?
Speaker 6 (02:25):
What do you do?
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Andrea tell us everything?
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Well, I call used up a glorified receptionist for a dentist.
I'm headed into work.
Speaker 7 (02:32):
I would love it if I walked into a dentist's
office and you were sitting there, because you sound so kind.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Oh, thank you.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
I feel like I.
Speaker 7 (02:39):
Would be less scared to go to the dentist if
I walked in, I was like, Andrea, my girl is.
Speaker 5 (02:44):
Here, I'm here.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Why do you say glorified receptionist? What does that mean?
You just do a bunch of different stuff?
Speaker 5 (02:50):
I do I do anyha?
Speaker 7 (02:52):
I feel like that's everybody these days, so like, Hi,
we hire one person for five jobs.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Andrew.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Do you get a lot of people who come in
who are afraid of going to the dentists because I
think I'm the odd one out here.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
But I love the dentist. I look forward to it.
Speaker 8 (03:09):
We do.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
I think it's to old our people that had a
childhood situation.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah. Probably back in you know, a long time ago,
going to the dentist was no walk in the park.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
Yeah, but no, it's all good.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Now.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
It's gonna be hard to kind of try to, you know,
calm them down and make sure that they're in good spirits.
Speaker 9 (03:25):
Give them the laughing gas. That'll be good to go.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
Exactly exactly the best sixty dollars I'll ever spend.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Do you ever sneak some of that? Guess for yourself, Andrew?
Speaker 5 (03:34):
You know what I have not I do not believe
it or not.
Speaker 9 (03:37):
I feel like they're probably illegal.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Kevin today today, after talking to us, she's gonna need
the laughing gas because she doesn't seem like the kind
of person who would.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
Andrew, we have good news for you. You are the first color.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Of the day on one of seven five no way,
so you're gonna get tidy. You're gonna get to get

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Wow, weether really for my daughter, That's why I.
Speaker 9 (04:03):
Call it so oh yay you and mother of the Year.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
How about that?
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Well, congratulations, your daughter's going to see the voice of
at the rhyme and you have a great day. Don't
touch the laughing guests. Thank you for listening on the.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
River, Rancky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Happy Friday from everyone here at one O seven five
the River. We're so happy that the sun is out
right now. It's really giving me hope.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
For the weekend.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
But as usual this weekend, plenty of stuff to do
in Nashville, Zach, what are some things.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
That we can get into?
Speaker 7 (04:33):
Okay, So, first and foremost, the Preds Draft Party is
happening tonight at Bridgetone Arena. So it starts at five
point thirty and you can sit and watch the first
round of the twenty twenty five and a NHL draft.
So they're gonna have like a use equipment sale, they're
gonna have photo ops, they're gonna give away special guests,
and our friend DJ Battle from one of five nine
(04:53):
in the Rock is gonna.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Be DJ Battle Battle Yeah.
Speaker 7 (04:57):
So it's very fun. That's at bridge Down Arena tonight
starting a Is it.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Free to go?
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:02):
I think it is. I think it's free to get it.
Yeah awesome.
Speaker 7 (05:05):
And also they're doing like a beer fest outside of
Bridgeton Arena where you can go and like try different beers.
Speaker 9 (05:10):
There's a lot going on surrounding that.
Speaker 7 (05:14):
Also, tonight is the kickoff of Nashville Pride. Yes, so
there's a big concert happening tonight where Kim Petris is
the headliner. There's a bunch of other amazing people there.
That is not free. You have to buy tickets for
just tonight. That's it, buy Centennial Park. But then festival
goes all weekend long with the Nashville Pride Parade tomorrow
(05:35):
morning at ten am. So the Pride Parade kicks off
on the corner at Broadway in Eighth Avenue. That's completely
free to go to go support, go celebrate. So it's
just the beginning of Nashville Pride.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
This is also the end of June, so this is
the last you know, like Hurrah way do you know.
Speaker 7 (05:52):
End it our last hooray heru hurrahzday is and then
Sunday there's a Dolly part and impersonator brunch. I want
to go to this so bad. So it's at Hall's
shop house, which we already.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Zach and I are obsessed with Hall.
Speaker 9 (06:06):
It's so good.
Speaker 7 (06:08):
So it's Sunday from eleven am to two thirty where
they're gonna have a bunch of different Dolly Partoner impersonators.
Speaker 9 (06:14):
We should You can make a reservation on Rezie.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Okay, I'm gonna literally look it up right now.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
We have to go out there. It's also my birthday.
Keep going.
Speaker 9 (06:21):
You want to go for your birthday, I won't think
about it.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Okay, I don't think he wants to go to a steakhouse.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
But the dollar thing is appealing. Yeah, I got.
Speaker 7 (06:30):
More things for you is tomorrow. This is perfect for
the kiddos. You remember at the Zebra that went on loose?
Speaker 9 (06:36):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Do it well? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (06:38):
So painting with a Twist in Hendersonville is doing where
you can go paint at the Zebra so you can
bring your family. It's completely free, no experience needed. All
the supplies are going to be there as well.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
You mean the black and white paint. There's too many
supplies for this.
Speaker 7 (06:52):
Anyways, It said that it will not be black and white.
That you can paint the zebra. However, your imagination not
as zeep ride, he says, it's a colorful zer and
then lastly, to get ready for the Fourth of July weekend.
Next weekend, Nolansville is doing their Star Spangled Celebration tomorrow
from six pm to nine pm that Nolan'sville High School.
(07:15):
Clearly it's free, but there's gonna be food, vendors, inflatables, activities,
so much for you to do if you want to.
If you're not going to be in town for Fourth
of July, you can start this weekend at Nolan's Feel
High School.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Awesome, good stuff as always, Zachary, thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (07:27):
Welcome.
Speaker 9 (07:27):
There's a lot going on.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Well, how's it going, Happy Friday? Thank you for being here?
Just after seven o'clock. Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Kim Kardashian is going to produce and star as the
villain in a new live action Brats movie.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Brat's like the dolls that we played with when we
were little.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Amazon MGM won a pretty intense spinning war for the
rights to the movie Hollywood has been really focusing on
just adapting children's toys for movies. Obviously, Barbie was huge,
it was massive, and since then they're trying to capitalize
on that.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
They have a Hot.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Wheels version of the film Pocket Barney. Yeah, Like it's
just there's never ending list of different kids toys that
they're trying to make into movies. That's something that they're
really focused on. Brats could be added to the list.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Now.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
There's no word on the plotline or who else is
going to be casted, or even a timeline for the release.
We just know it's happening with Kim Kardashian as the
villain and producer, and I think that makes sense. Yeah,
Kim Kardashian has a Brats like a bratstall. I I
don't see who else could ever do it, you know
what I mean.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Sorry to harp on this, but you could also put
Mario Sonic Minecraft in that category. Like that is big
business right now.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
The Titans will have seven summer practices open to fans
this year, so six are going to happen at their
training facility, one at Nissan Stadium.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
They're gonna happen late July and early August.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
This is a fun thing if you are a Titans
fan or if your kids are, to bring them to
so they can see all their favorite players.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Kind of practicing.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
They'll have little moments where they can, you know, talk
to them, bring signs things like that. Free tickets for
stadium practice are now available. You still need to go
grab them on their website. The practice facility tickets will
go live Wednesday, July ninth, and they will have a
shuttle service provided for those sessions. And it turns out
traveling with kids can be tough. Memories of vacation are
(09:13):
great if but parents need recovery time after vacation. Kevin,
how long does it take you to recover after vacation?
Speaker 2 (09:19):
I need a completely different vacation when we get back
from a okay, vacation.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
Funny you say that family vacations are so stressful. Seventy
one percent of moms and dads admit that they feel
like they need another vacation to recover from the first one.
But they said that it takes them about two and
a half days to recover from traveling with their family.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Okay, that checks out, But I will also add if
Aliy and I ever do go anywhere by ourselves. We
just talk about the kids and like, look at pictures
and videos of the kids.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
This is not taking away the fact that you enjoy
vacationing with your kids.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
It's just that it's yeah, it's a lot, it's stressful.
Traveling is not easy just by yourself with kids. So
nobody's saying anything bad about that. But if you do
you need time, some downtime after traveling with your kids.
You're not alone.
Speaker 6 (10:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 10 (10:06):
One O seven five The River Reicky, Zach and Meno
in the Mornings.
Speaker 9 (10:11):
This one is a two fer.
Speaker 7 (10:12):
Did you guys know that Chewbacca and Star Wars was
actually based on George Lucas's dog, which is an Alaska
malamew named Indiana, which also was the reason for Indiana Jones.
Speaker 9 (10:24):
The dog inspired two movies.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
How did the dog inspire Indiana Joe?
Speaker 9 (10:28):
The name is the name Indiana.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
I wonder what came first, though it was Indiana Jones
named after the dog or vice versa.
Speaker 7 (10:34):
The dog inspired the name of the movie Wow, A
Powerful dog And there's your factor today.
Speaker 10 (10:43):
One seven five The River Reicky Zach and Meno in
the morning.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
We've got kind of a strange question for you here
this morning. I want to seven five the river. But
trust us, we're going somewhere with this. If you ever
lost a tooth as an adult, just fell out of
your mouth.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Yes, I'm saying yes because I wanted to make sure
you said adult. We're not talking about kids using teeth.
That's normal and happens.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
All the time. We're talking about those.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Really random situations where like, your tooth just fell out.
Speaker 9 (11:07):
What were you doing? I want to know.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Uh, we've already established this. There is a reason. There's
multiple reasons we're asking the question. So it happens. I mean,
it seems like an inordinate amount of adults are dropping
teeth on a regular basis. We want to hear your story.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Sorry, just the peth sounds insane.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Six one, five, seven, three seven nine one oh seven.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
We just want to hear your story. We're not going
to make fun of you or anything like that. I
just want to know about the story of the time
you lost your.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Two This hits close to home for two of us
in this room right now. We want to hear your
stories about your adult teeth. Falling out.
Speaker 6 (11:41):
Ricky, Zach and men asking.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
A strange question this morning, but we're asking for a reason.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Caitlyn and Hendersonville, have you ever lost a tooth?
Speaker 11 (11:50):
I haven't personally lost any teeth. Has lost his front tooth,
his front tooth as an adult, as an adult height.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Was this the sports related injury?
Speaker 4 (12:01):
It was not what happened, healen, So I'm not.
Speaker 11 (12:04):
Quite sure what happened because he takes very good care
of his I don't know. And he came home one
day and it was there, and then I came home
the next day and I saw it laying on the
counter and I looked at him, I said, smile, and
he wouldn't smile. But his front tooth is missing. He
does mace and for work, so that could be something.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Oh my god, wait wait, I don't need to laugh
because it's not funny necessarily, but the way that you
phrase it of like one day he was there and
then I came.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Home with the fact that it was gone, like you
leave it as with more questions and answers him.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I'm shy, so like we're not laughing at like they
probably really hurt things like that, but like this is
kind of funny.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
The mystery surrounding it. Yeah, yeah he does.
Speaker 11 (12:48):
He does sewer rehabilitation, so I'm not sure, maybe fitting
in type spaces. Maybe with the hardest it just got
knocked out.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
The poor guy was too embarrassed to even talk about
it all.
Speaker 11 (12:59):
Yeah, he really so bad. I was just like, it's okay,
you don't have to look, but I still love you.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
That matters.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Well, Caitlyn, thank you for sharing half of a story
with us. We appreciate it.
Speaker 11 (13:13):
Thank you, guys.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Have a good weekend. Danielle and Lebanon, Good morning, Welcome
to the river. What's your tooth story?
Speaker 5 (13:20):
Okay, so I actually lost tooth teeth to.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Jolly ranchers, jolly like biting into a jolly rancher, just
having an obsessions.
Speaker 5 (13:28):
I'm horrible about it. I have to bite them. I
don't know why.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
That's a real fool me twice situation there if it
happened once and you went back for more and.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
The worst part was okay, talking about broken teeth. And
my daughter in law calls me like a week ago,
bawling her eyes out, and I'm like, what is wrong
with you?
Speaker 4 (13:43):
She goes your grandson just kicks my front tooth out. God,
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
I think it's genetic. You guys just have weak teeth.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Well, she said it was her daughter.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Daughter.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
It's your teeth week.
Speaker 5 (13:59):
It's okay, it's all good.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Oh my gosh. Okay, Well have we learned our lesson?
We're not gonna bite. We haven't bitten into jolly ranchers since.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
No, I'm going to buy some now.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Oh my god, Dan, Danielle, you're gonna get tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Okay, all right, well, thank you Danielle.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Too.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
But oh man, I mean the reason we're asking. My
wife and I went out to dinner with some friends
of the night in Alley. My wife bit into a soft,
little sweet potato. It wasn't even hard, and out came
a tooth. Actually didn't come out. She's swallowing it. It
didn't come out and went in.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
I also just have to say.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Then we went and met them at a comedy show
and the first thing that Kevin.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
Wanted to talk about was Allie's tooth.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Like we walked right up to them, we were like, hey, guys,
like we made it because we got there later than them.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
And Kevin's like, oh yeah, happy you're here. And then
he looks at all, he goes, can I say it?
The second thing he said to us was.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
About her after the tooth came out. All we did
was make jokes about it. So I couldn't wait to
tell more people.
Speaker 9 (14:57):
I mean, I feel like you have to have comedy
in that situation.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Yeah, yeah, she was about it. And then yes, your
fiance A was like, this is happened to me too before.
So he's got a bridge. She's got a bridge.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
So it just like pops out sometimes.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
And then the next day there was a news story
that Leanne Rhymes was on stage and she lost the
tooth while performing.
Speaker 9 (15:17):
What is happening to you?
Speaker 6 (15:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
He's scared, You're trying to grab his own teeth.
Speaker 9 (15:22):
I'm like making sure that I don't have any loose
teats right now.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Well, the tooth Fairy comes if you do lose.
Speaker 10 (15:27):
One O seven five Rickie, Zach and Meno in the
Morn play Kevin Manno's Game of the Day presented by
Genesis Diamonds on one oh seven.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
Five The River For Maroon five tickets, I believe they go.

but I like to make small.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
My kids are gonna go.
Speaker 4 (16:02):

a couple of days. So nice.
Speaker 2 (16:06):

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Want to be on to that her birthday.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Like I said, it was meant to be. It all
makes sense.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Spit past eight o'clock here on this Friday morning. Right
after three things, we do have brand new music from
Lewis capoul This it's such a good song. It's coming

Speaker 4 (18:08):
I'm one hundred percent on board, so I will be
checking it out myself. This is really exciting.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Creeve Hall Bagel Co. Their new spot opens in Inglewood
next week.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
They are expanding.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
They're going to have their same fresh sourdough bagels starting
Monday morning at their Inglewood location.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
It's my favorite bagel shop in the city.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
I still you love it.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
I love Creeve Hall.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
I can have sour dough even though I don't eat
gluten because it's it doesn't mess with me. But I
highly recommend the Cheddarhall Ofpango bacon bacon bagel.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
I put bacon and egg on it. So good, so
so good.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
And the fall they have pumpkin shmear. My mouth is
watering right now. Go check them out on Monday.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Support local, support these brands that are here in Nashville.
It's important to do that.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Like I said, their location is in Inglewood starting Monday morning,
and Happy Gilmore Meals and Cups are heading to Subway
so the Happy Gilmore Meal is dropping July tenth across
the US. For an extra dollar, you can get one
of the four limited edition collectible cups. They have iconic
characters on there like Happy and Shooter, and each meal
unlocks access to subways, Happy Plays, which is an immersive
(19:15):
digital world. They have games, clips, merch, They have chances
to win prizes like a custom golf court or a
grand Resort getaway.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
I think there's a bad Bunny cup too, which you
should go get because he's in the movie.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
Yeah, yeah, are you lying to me? Are you saying
that that's like actually a cup?
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I'm telling you that he's like the new Caddy in
this movie.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
I know he is, but he realizes that the cups.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
He's got a cup.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
I'll pay a dollar for that. I'm Ricky. And those
are the three things you need to do, ky Zach,
and to do.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Something we call the leftovers. These are stories that did
not make the Morning Show this week because there just
isn't enough time in our show to talk. We could
talk longer, but you would probably not want to hear
us long.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
We have a surplus of content here.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
We can't squeeze at all exactly, So each of us
are gonna get thirty seconds to tell one of the
stories that we just didn't get to one of the
topics we didn't get to you this week.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
Who wants to start?
Speaker 2 (20:07):
I like when you start regul ladies first. I've got
my stop watch out here, so whenever you're ready, thirty
seconds on the clock. All right.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
This is a list of fun facts that people love
to share that just aren't true. For instance, that you
swallow eight spiders in a year in your sleep, and
that's just not true.
Speaker 9 (20:23):
Apparently many times.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
This one says, I was told my entire life that
cracking your knuckles is bad for you and causes offritis.
Not true. People say that your hair grows back thicker
if you shave. Not true. But the tongue has different
taste zones. They taught us this in school, But apparently
that's not true.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
You weren't taught.
Speaker 9 (20:43):
About that, no seconds?
Speaker 6 (20:45):
Is that?
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Like?
Speaker 3 (20:47):
Yeah, the sides of your tongue take up one taste,
the middle part, the back all have differently taste zones.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
I learned that in school. It's not true. Apparently.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
I always thought that hair thing, the hair thing you
mentioned was true. I always thought that was apparently.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
Not true, not true at all. There's obviously a bunch more,
but I thought those are the most interesting you enjoy that.
Speaker 9 (21:04):
Yeah, okay, should I go next? Dak, You're up three
to one.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Go okay.
Speaker 7 (21:08):
So, if you feel like you need to gain respect
at work, I found a list of phrases that you
should be using at work, and apparently you automatically gain
respect by saying this of how can I help? That's
a great idea, And here's why I appreciate your feedback.
I'm sorry, it was my mistake. And apparently if you
say all of these, it's supposed to like connect you
with your coworkers and colleagues so that you feel more respected.
(21:30):
I guess because you're having like more open communication and
conversation and you're not being like rude about it. If
you say can you educate me about that? It's showing
respect of hey, can you help me?
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Times out, I will say anybody at work who admits
to messing up and says that was my bad, that
was my mistake, instantly I have more respect one when
you mess something up and blame it on someone else. Yeah,
I don't want to work with you ever again on anything.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Oh life too, but I don't want to work.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
With you on anything.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
I think at that point, like you're just not accepting
the fact that you can do wrong.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
I don't want to be around those people. All right,
kep dogg, it's your your.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Turn, Okay, starting the clock now. I saw a Reddit
thread about how different people count around the country, you know,
like I grew up saying either one, one thousand or
one Mississippi.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Like counting seconds.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Yeah, Like you know, you say Mississippi or you say
what Yeah. So in different countries and stuff, they say
different things, and I wanted to see if regionally, if
anybody said anything different. But in Scotland they say one elephant,
two elephant. In China they go one two three four
two two three three three four. France they say one hippopotamus,
two hippopotamus.
Speaker 9 (22:37):
I like that one.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
And the Danish folks say one case of beer, two
of beer. There's a whole Reddit thread of all the.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Different hippopotamus one yeah, one hippopotamus two.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Hip is much better than Mississippi.
Speaker 7 (22:50):
I say Mississippi. But I'm gonna start saying hippopotamus now.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
And this, my friends, concludes the Leftovers.
Speaker 10 (22:55):
One Ricky, Zach and Menno.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
In the morning, we gotta call our buddy Pierce.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
He won something from us a little while back, and
we found out that his birthday is the same birthday
as Kevin's.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
That's me, it's ringing, let's pull it up. Hello, here's Rad.
Speaker 9 (23:13):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
We just wanted to call the issue a very happy birthday, buddy.
I appreciate it. Hey you too, Man, Hey, thanks, you're welcome.
Speaker 5 (23:23):
I remember the last time I called, Zach said that
we're birthday twins, so I want to make sure.
Speaker 8 (23:28):
I wish you had birthday as well. Kevin.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
Yeah, man's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
I think that's the first time that somebody wished Kevin
a happy birthday this week.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
Well, happy birthday, Ken, I hope it's a good.
Speaker 8 (23:36):
One for you.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Thanks. But here's how it went. When we talked to
Pierce before, I couldn't get over what a cool name
Pierce is.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
He talked about it for the entire conversation.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Yep, and then he won something. So we put you
on hold. Zach took your information. Then Zach said, and
his last name is Rad, And I was.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Like, hope, what Kevin lost his mind?
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Here's Rad is the coolest name there has ever been.
And then Zach told me that we have the same birthday,
right Pierce.
Speaker 7 (24:01):
I don't think I ever seen Kevin this excited about anything.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Well, we should meet up sometime. Birthday twins, Yes, I
mean I feel like maybe like long lost twins or something,
if you know?
Speaker 5 (24:13):
I all right?
Speaker 2 (24:14):
I agree?
Speaker 8 (24:15):
Agree.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Well, we had a note on our calendar to call
you today and wish you a happy birthday, So have
a great one.
Speaker 8 (24:21):
Man. Well, Kevin, thank you.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
We hope you have a great weekend, and we just
wanted to say hi and just send on the good
birthday wishes.
Speaker 8 (24:29):
I appreciate that. Thank you so much. Have a good one.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
We'll talk to you later. Sounds good bye bye?
Speaker 9 (24:34):
Are you on cloud nine right now?
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Like?
Speaker 9 (24:36):
Are you ever going to come down from this?
