Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, just after six o'clock on this Tuesday morning,
thank you for starting your day with us. Ricky Sanchez
is back and she's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
The Tennessee Titans have announced that quarterback Will Levis is
undergoing a season ending surgery.
Speaker 4 (00:14):
He's said to have shoulder surgery on Tuesday, July twenty ninth.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
It's going to silent him for the twenty twenty five
NFL season.
Speaker 4 (00:21):
So it's a big bummer.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
But obviously the whole point here is so that he
can have longevity in the sport and be able to
rehab his shoulder and everything. Can you heal the proper
way and not later on become a problem. Camera Ward,
who was the first overall pick in the twenty twenty
five draft, is going to take the first team reps
for the Titans in training camp and lightly likely be.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Backed by Brandon Allen. As of right now, Demi.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Levado is releasing a new pop electronic album by the
end of the year. They're calling it a quote celebratory
dance pop album. Right now, she's been teasing her lead single,
titled Fast, all over social media.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
This is a big one from her last few years.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Of rock pop rock type vibes that she was going for.
So she's going right back to the pop girlly that
she once was. Everyone's super pumped to hear. Obviously what
it all sounds like. That's all coming later this year,
and Pepsi is introducing a new prebiotic soda this fall.
The new product is designed to meet changing consumer needs. Obviously,
(01:21):
people are looking for, you know, better ingredients, things that
are better for you. This new drink is going to
come in cola and cherry vanilla flavors. It's gonna have
five grams of cane sugar, three grams of pre biotic fiber,
and no artificial sweeteners. This new product announced comes right
after Pepsi just bought Poppy, which is the health conscious
(01:42):
pop brand. They bought it for two million dollars, so
it kind of makes sense that this is the way
that they're moving into. They got to use that Poppy
brand for you know, their new line. I'm Rick Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
I like that, Trent, Ricky. When you were growing up
in New Jersey, did you call it pop or soda?
Speaker 4 (01:57):
What did you get soda? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
See in India, we called it pop and I feel
like people just just really don't like that these days.
I don't know why I like pop.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
You do?
Speaker 4 (02:06):
It's cute?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Okay, good. I haven't said it in a long time.
Pop was sort of beaten out of me over the years,
but yeah, pop always has a special place in my heart.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
Do you feel like older people should say pop? Not
so much?
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Yog Like, if an old person goes all you want
to pop, I'm gonna be like, you're adorable, I want eighteen.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Thank you sorry putting me in that category?
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Or no, I can when do I not?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Okay, all right, thank you. We're so happy to have
you back. Hey, we're having a happy hour this Thursday night,
and for the first caller every day this week until Thursday,
we're buying you drinks at our parties. So we're gonna
get that to you in just a few minutes one seven.
Speaker 1 (02:40):

call it when something's monthly? I guess just monthly. There's
it's not like a bi annual. It's just a monthly event.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Kevin.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
This is our first monthly happy.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Hour, as Kevin likes to say, it'll be the last
Thursday of the first month of the first year, of
the last year.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Exactly. That's what I was looking for. Here we go,
uh six seven three seven nine one o seven, the
first caller of the day right now. Not only are
you making small talk with Ricky, Zach and Mano in

Speaker 5 (03:45):

Speaker 3 (03:45):
How are y'all doing today?
Speaker 2 (03:47):

am on the way to work and tell us everything, Parker.
What do you do, where do you do it? Do
you like doing it? How much do you make a year?
Speaker 6 (03:56):
I'll work it on his own.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
Oh oh nice.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
You know I loved AutoZone for such a long time
and then my battery died and the guy at auto
Zone told me he wouldn't help me change my battery.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
What that's not okay?
Speaker 4 (04:08):
I know it's rude, right. I was like, how am
I supposed to do this? I don't know what I'm doing.
And he's like, can't help you, ma'am. And I'd find
somebody else to do it.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
The only time we're supposed to do that is if
we are very short on staff.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Ricky, What was the reason he gave you? There had
to be a reason.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
He just said, I'm not doing it.
Speaker 8 (04:24):
I mean I kind of respect it, Like now, ma'am looked.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
At my distraught face and said I'm not doing it,
and I was like, okay, I'm gonna find somebody.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
Who will then.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Oh my god, lazy.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
I think so, Marker. I mean, it would have been
nice if it was you. I feel like you would
have changed it for me. Oh see, you're just a
nice guy.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
We like when we have nice people call in and
chat with us, especially to start our day, and we're
excited to tell you that you're gonna come hang out
with us at our happy hour this Thursday. We can
meet you in person and we can all talk about
how nice you are in person. We're gonna have you know,
apps and drinks and just a fun time altogether.
Speaker 9 (04:59):
Oh hey, yeah, I'm gonna get I'm gonna get that
day off ward now.
Speaker 2 (05:02):

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Thank y'all absolutely thanks for hanging out with us.
Speaker 3 (05:18):

Speaker 4 (05:18):
We appreciate you so much.
Speaker 9 (05:20):
No problem.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Line, Okay, go get in the zone. Oh wow? Oh
is that what you call it when you're on the
way to work. I'm gonna go get in the zone. Wow,
auto zone.
Speaker 8 (05:32):
I think it's time we leave Parker alone. Parker, have
a fabulous day, friend.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Hang on the line okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
I mean, what's better getting the zone, auto zone or
oh O'Reilly's like which one stands out? Parker, Parker is
still here. I did not mean to bring up a competitor.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
In front of the guy, way to offend him after
he was so kind to us.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
First caller tomorrow, same thing, A drink on us the river.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
The most part we like to, you know, keep it light,
have fun over here at Ricky, Zach and Manno in
the morning. But every once in a while, you know,
things happen. Life happens to all of us. And Ricky,
I know that you have been going through some stuff lately.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yeah, it hasn't been an easy week by any means.
I was off last week to go home for a vacation.
While I was home, I lost my best friend. And
I'm gonna try to get through this without crying through it.
Unexpectedly lost my best friend, and it's been a really
hard week, not just because, like you know, I lost her,
(06:39):
but so many people who loved.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Her lost her.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
And she was honestly like one of those people that
you're never gonna find again, best friend I ever had.
She just like kind of understood me, right off the bat,
even though we were not supposed to be friends. Automatically,
she came into my friend group and me being who
I am very protective of everybody and of my friends
(07:02):
and things like that, and.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
I'm not very nice to new people right away.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
So she was a new person coming in and she
kind of like, wouldn't let me not like her. That
was just kind of the person that she was is
that it was hard to not like her, Like you
couldn't do it because she just had the biggest.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Heart imaginable and always wanted.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Everybody to be happy and cared so deeply about everybody.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
My biggest cheerleader. She listened to Ricky Zacamana in the
morning every morning.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
From across the country every morning, yep, from across the country,
and would text me about the different things that we
were talking about, and she would tell everybody to listen.
She would go to work and put it on and
make all of her coworkers listen. She had a lot
of people who you know, because of her. She just
you know, everybody then listened to me and us and
(07:52):
loved us, and like they were all over the weekend
like talking about.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Us to me.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Didn't she care a photo of you.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Yes, my first like professional radio like picture of me,
like in a radio studio. She printed out and she
would carry it in her wallet with her ever where
she went because she was just truly the biggest cheerleader
and just like was so proud of me, so part
of all of her friends, and it just.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
Sometimes things just suck, you know, and like there's not
much you could do about it.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
But I just really wanted to talk about the fact
that sometimes things suck. I wanted to talk about her
and make sure that everybody knew that Lex was like
the best person ever. And you know that this last week,
in this upcoming week are just gonna be really hard
weeks for me personally. And obviously grief does it necessarily
just last two weeks, so it'll be hard forever. But
(08:46):
I know it's just gonna be extra hard for the
next week, you know, coming back, trying to get back
into a routine and not being home with her family
and my family and all of my loved ones. But yeah,
just you know, I want everyone to remember to tell
everyone that they love that they love them. I want
you to always hug your friends. I want you to
(09:08):
try not to like stress about the small little things
that don't matter because they're just dumb and insignificant in
the grand scheme of everything else. And those are basically
like the three takeaways that I can give you right now.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
It's just like those three things.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
But always tell everybody that you love them, the people
that you love. Lex and I never got off the
phone with each other or off of FaceTime without saying
I love you to each other, so she always knew
that I loved her, and I have some solace there
in that respect.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
So yeah, just.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Hug everybody that you love because you just don't know
whatever is gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
I know that's not easy obviously to talk about this,
So thank you for opening up and sharing with us.
And those are fantastic takeaways for everybody, no matter what
you're dealing with right now. That's good stuff to just
keep in mind forever. So thank you, Ricky, and hey,
welcome home. We love you.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I love you, I love you both so much of you.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Both three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Just past seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning. Thank you
so much for starting your day with us. Ricky's got
those three things.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Justin Bieber his new album Swag everybody loves it. I'm
not the only one, so I'm very happy to see this.
He's charted sixteen songs on the Billboard Hot one hundred,
so the album as a whole debut at number two
on the Billboard two one hundred or two hundred two
one hundred, and his song Daisies currently sits at number
two on the Billboard Hot one hundred, while there are
(10:28):
fifteen other songs that are throughout the charts just scattered
about there.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
He now ties Janet Jackson.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
For the tenth most Hot one hundred top tens, which
is insane cool. The album's phenomenal. I don't know if
you've listened to it yet, but I'm obsessed. It's like
the only thing I'm listening to right now, so I
totally get why it's doing so well. Instagram is testing
an auto scroll option for posting your feed. So some
Instagram users have posted about this new auto scroll toggle
(10:56):
that has been popping up within their post settings. So
what it sounds like is it will enable you to
activate automatic strolling in your main feed. So that means that,
like you know, when you're watching reels, how it can
just jump to the next reel and the next reel,
on the next reel and the next reel.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
It'll do the same inside of your main feed, even.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Four posts like carousel posts, one off posts, everything will
just automatically scroll through, so you don't have to worry
about ever moving your fingers.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Again, they really don't want us to have attention span students.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
No, No, it's kind of intense.
Speaker 7 (11:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I mean it'll be a faster way to go through
your feed, but it is intense. I think everyone can
manage scrolling through. I mean it's gonna be okay. And
Metro National Public Schools have announced a new initiative to
help with kindergarten students transition into school.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
This is really awesome.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
So MMPs partnered with Pencil to deliver kinderbox packages to students.
So it's a box of essential school supplies that will
be delivered to classrooms ahead of the first day of school.
So think crayons, gluesesticks, pencils, stuff like that all in
the box. According to Superintendent Doctor Adrian Battle, this is
all an effort to make sure that school is joyful
(12:04):
and stress free for.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
The kids coming in. I love this. I think it's phenomenal.
I hope that they could do this in as many.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Schools as possible, because what a great idea obviously to
be able to make it just so much easier for
kids that they have everything just set and ready for
them to go.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Ricky, thank you so much. Let's play Gigi Perez, and
then let's learn Zach Spax. He's got a good one.
It's right after Sailors song. We're learning together.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
On the river, the river Ricky and Zach and Menno
in the morning.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I think this is the singular thing that I'm most
excited for this morning is to hear what Zach is
about to say. It's Zach Spax on one O seven
five of the River.
Speaker 8 (12:45):
You guys, know that space between your eyebrows where you
always get like your little unibrow and you gotta pluck it, well, hold.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
On, hold, let's slow down.
Speaker 10 (12:52):
You don't have to pluck that. You don't have You
do not have to I pluck mine. It's called a glabella.
The space between your eyebrows has called your globella. Like yo,
your globella looks so good today.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Do we think you're pronouncing that right. I'm I'm pretty sure.
I wonder if it's globula that could be.
Speaker 10 (13:09):
I doubt it's globular somehow, Well, they don't have a
beautiful day with you and your beautiful Globella or.
Speaker 7 (13:16):
Globular Zach on the river Ricky's Zach and Menno in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Is the craziest place you've lost your keys? I'm asking, oh,
because my grandpa I was at home last week for vacation.
My grandpa is ninety. He's lost his keys way too
many times to even like count. But he wears them
around his neck now, like yes, not as a lanyard,
(13:43):
like as a necklace.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
He wears them around his.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Neck like on a chain because he doesn't want to
lose his keys anymore. Like he literally is like, no,
I've lost them everywhere every He's from that very smart.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I feel like there's a shark tank idea in there somewhere.
That's very smart.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
I mean, it's just a lanyard, but he made it
weirder for him.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
But I feel like we could pack it anyway. We're
getting off topic here. Where is the strangest place you
lost your keys? That's the question. We're asking right now
six one five, seven, three seven nine, one oh seven. Yeah,
we all have those people in our lives that you know,
they find the keys in the fridge or toilet wherever
I found mine and weird places one seven five Ricky,
Zach and Menno in.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
The morning, you're in Nashville.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Welcome to one oh seven five the river. Tell us
the craziest place you lost your keys? I want to
see if you beat my ninety year old grandpa.
Speaker 11 (14:29):
Okay, yeah, So I was in Gatlinburg and we went
into like the Nike outlet. I was trying on shoes,
and I guess I put the keys in the shoe box,
so I had to figure out which row and which section.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Oh my goodness, they were literally.
Speaker 11 (14:46):
In the shoe box. I was like, oh my god,
we're in the world.
Speaker 5 (14:49):
I'm criminaling crazy.
Speaker 8 (14:50):
How long did it take you to find which shoebox
you left your keys in?
Speaker 11 (14:54):
So I only tried on two, so that was a
good thing. So it took me about probably twenty minutes,
you know, the cat pressure. And then we went back
to where if thought I trod him own, and I'm like,
wait a minute, they were at pot it was it
would have took me. It would have literally been all day. Man.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Imagine the person that if you hadn't found them, the
person that bought those shoes and they got a Toyota
Grand Prix with them in.
Speaker 11 (15:18):
The car exactly.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Oh my gosh, wow, I mean, I did you beat
my grandma?
Speaker 3 (15:24):
He's left them pretty much everywhere you can imagine, but
he hasn't.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
Done that one yet.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Oh wow, that's that's great. Well, we're glad you got
him back. All's well that ends well?
Speaker 11 (15:33):
Oh yes, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
Thank you, have a great day. Love.
Speaker 11 (15:36):
Okay, you see the bite know.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
So, Ricky, where have you left yours?
Speaker 4 (15:41):
I left mine in the fridge once.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Yeah, I feel like I've seen my wife's keys in
the fridge before and I just leave them in.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
The freezer though, like the freezer part, so it was
like freezing cold, and I was like, I don't even
know if these are going to work again. Luckily they did.
I was fine, but yeah, I was frightened for like
a full day because I couldn't find out.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Oh man six one five, seven, three seven, nine one
oh seven. If you you don't have to beat amber,
hers is pretty good. But if you've left your keys
in an unusual place. We want to hear about one.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Seven Ricky and Zach and man the river.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Saying good morning to Stephanie in Murphysboro. Ricky's grandpa has
lost his keys so many times that he started wearing
them around his neck, which I think is so we're
asking where people have misplaced their keys in the past. Stephanie,
what about you.
Speaker 6 (16:26):
Well, when my kids were little, they were about three
and five, we were moving and I had taken my
keys and I watch in my wedding ring and sat
on the kitchen counter and they were just gone. I
looked everywhere for my keys, and we moved and I
cried because I'm like, oh my god, I gotta buy
a new wedding vand and make your ring and all that.
And about six months later I found them in mister
(16:48):
potato heads.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
But honestly, though a safe place to put that.
Speaker 6 (16:55):
So now I don't get rid of anything because you
never know where you're.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Going to be sure.
Speaker 8 (16:59):
I mean, on a see, I feel like it's pretty
brilliant now because, like whatever, you go into somebody's house
and you see that they have like a lock box
or something, You're like, oh, I know your valuables are
in there. What if you just have like a mister
potato Head lock box and no one will ever even
seek to look in there.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
On the radio, people are gonna know that.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Yeah, don't come to my house. I have everything. I
miss the potato head. But thank you for calling Stephanie,
you too, Jackie and Brentwood. Good morning. Welcome to the
river where you left your keys.
Speaker 12 (17:27):
I left them at a McDonald recently went and sit
down to eat, and then all of a sudden, when
I got ready to go, I'm like, where's my keys?
Speaker 1 (17:36):
You know?
Speaker 12 (17:37):
So I started looking around, looking all over, and I thought, well,
I know I didn't go anywhere but from the desk
to the table. After a half an hour later, I
was practically about to have a stress fit. So I
go back to the desk and talk to the cashier
and he looks all over the place and there was
a hole on the you know area there the cashier's
(17:59):
desk where the I guess the seed to the cashiers
the cable went down inside. Sure, I said, maybe when
I set my key down, my first wife did been
in the hole. And he's like, no, they couldn't be
in there, wouldn't sit down there. I'm like, that's the
only place and leaves rooks and I said what's under there?
(18:19):
And he's like, trash. We pulled it out. We went
to the trash and there they were so oh.
Speaker 8 (18:26):
I just loved the line of like, Hi, I'm Jackie
from Brentwood and I lost my keys in the McDonald's trash.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Can I'm proud of you for finding him.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:37):
Yeah, it was so stressful there for a second.
Speaker 12 (18:39):
But I do love average shoe story, the two story bods.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, hilarious. I think that one wins.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Yeah, this morning, Thank you, have a great day, guy,
Love you, love you.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
There have been multi and this just happened like within
the last week. There have been multiple times where we've
been at Target and we're about to leave and then
we'll say, Molly, that's my daughter. Didn't you have glass?
Is when we came in and then we have to
go retrace our steps, And while she's looking at like
makeup or whatever in Target, she'll just take her glasses
off and set them down and leave them right there.
This is happening.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
He's far too young to start losing I.
Speaker 8 (19:11):
Know, trying to find your glasses, Like now you can't
even see so like it makes it even harder.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
To find she uses us for the eyes where the
ones say fire. But we should get her in one
of those chains like your grandpa has for his.
Speaker 7 (19:23):
Kids, Ricky, Zach and men and then play Kevin Manno's
Game of the Day for these Disney on Ice presents
Frozen in Acanto.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
But I have no idea what the Game of the

moment right now.
Speaker 8 (19:39):
I'm so excited for you to find out Ricky.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Ricky was out yesterday so she didn't hear this. I
enjoy coming up with the Game of the day every week.
It's a different game. But I really enjoy coming up
with the names because they drive Ricky crazy.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
They're the worst names ever.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Since it's Disney on Ice, we're throwing movie quotes at
you from classic Disney films, so it is a Disney quisney.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
I'm actually speechless.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Do you know how hard it is for me to
be speechless?
Speaker 2 (20:11):
If you want to play this Disney quisney.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
I'm never gonna I'm not gonna call it that.

Aaron and Clarksville. What are you doing on my way
to work?
Speaker 1 (21:14):
In a dream?
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Sounds like you're real pumped about it.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
I'm so excited to be.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Oh man, this got dark. Are you a Disney fan, Aaron?
Do you think you'll be good at this Disney quote quiz?
Speaker 5 (21:27):
I mean I was getting them all yesterday.
Speaker 7 (21:29):
So okay, let's see what we can do.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
All right, Well, Aaron in Clarksville, your Disney Quisney starts
right now. Quote number one. You need two out of
three of these in the tickets are years. Quote number one,
I'm gonna touch the butt. I'm gonna touch the butt.
Speaker 11 (21:50):
But oh my god, I don't know that one.
Speaker 4 (21:52):
Oh it's a classic.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yes, it is a classic. That's finding Nemo. That's okay,
You're still alive. Nemo and his little friends thought the
boat was called a butt. Quote number two. Get this,
You're still alive here. I'm happier than a tornado and
a trailer park.
Speaker 8 (22:10):
Oh gosh, it sounds like a Kesha song to me.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
I feel like I know this one, but mine's like
a really like it's just.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
A guess I'm happier than a tornado. Oh no, I
was gonna try to do the voice, but that's cars.
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 9 (22:25):
Erin.
Speaker 6 (22:26):
Oh god, you think I.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Would know that one?
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Man, that was Mader. All right. Well, hey, it sounds
like your day did not get any better here, and
we feel bad about that, but thank you for listening.
Speaker 6 (22:37):
Thanks guys, have a great day.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Aaron Nicholas in Nashville. We turned to you. Now you
got to get two out of three of these Disney quotes,
right and the Disney on iceed tickets are yours in
this Disney Quisney. It starts right now. Quote number one,
Ohanna means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.
What movie is that from on the board? Quote number two.
(23:02):
You get this, you win, so the Grand Duke will
make sure every maiden in the Kingdom tries on that
slipper Fonderella. Hey wow, congratulations, job Nicholas, Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
We hear somebody in the background who's very excited you
have won. Dizzey on Ice Presents, Frozen and a Conto.
They're gonna be at bridge Stone Arena September twenty fifth,
the twenty eighth. Congratulations Nicholas. And the person who's also
with you that's very excited as well.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Thank you, Thank you.
Speaker 7 (23:34):
Three things you need to know, all right, just a
bit past eight o'clock.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Thank you for being here. Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
Malcolm Jamal Warner from The Cosby Show has passed away
at fifty four years old. You know investas Theodore Huxtable
from the show. He unfortunately passed away while on vacation
in Costa Rica. Our love goes out to his family
and his friends right now. Obviously just terrible to see.
The Global Citizen Festival lineup has been announced. It's happening Saturday,
(24:00):
September twenty seventh in New York City. This is a
key event for the Global Poverty Project, who was the
gold End Poverty by twenty thirty. This lineup includes The Weekend, Shakira, Tyla,
Irish Star, and.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Mariah the Scientist.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
It's gonna be hosted by Hugh Jackman, which I feel
like ough, I just love that man so much.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
I just want to watch him.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
Honestly, he could read the back of a shampoo bottle
and I would watch that.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Well, that means he'd be in the shower, so I understand.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
Even subconsciously I was, I guess getting there and in
and out has decided not to go through with their
original location in Mount Juliet in and out as working
on expanding with a bunch of future restaurants planned for
Middle Teddy's See, all to coincide with the office that
they are going to start working at in Franklin. Mount
Juliet had approved design waivers as part of their approval
(24:49):
process for a future in and out restaurant that was
going to be built on the northeast corner of Golden
Bear Gateway. And it's just not going to happen anymore, unfortunately.
See where they decide to put one instead. I will
keep you updated because, as I said before, they're planning
to expand to a bunch of different places in Middle Tennessee.
I'll keep you posted. Once we know Ricky Sanchez and
(25:11):
those are the three things in each to.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Know Ricky, Zach and men in the morning, he makes.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Some dating advice over here at one O seven five
the River. The three of us, Ricky, Zach and Mana.
We are all, you know, committed, we're in relationships. We're
in a thrupple.
Speaker 4 (25:25):
So that yeah, I guess it's definitely needs the dating advice.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
But a friend who needs the dating advice exactly, Zach,
this is one.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Of your friends.
Speaker 8 (25:35):
Yeah, so she's recently single and is getting back on
the dating apps and was like asking for like, what
do I.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Put in my bio?
Speaker 8 (25:41):
How do I make people like be interested in me
just through a dating app? So I was like, you
know what, let's bring it to the radio and ask
everybody in Nashville what like makes you swipe right on
somebody's dating profile?
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Okay, good question. We've again, like we established, we've been
out of the game for a while. So this is
where you have.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Some ideas of what you know people like, what they
we want to swipe on picture of you with a dog.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
Instant.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yes, okay, see this is good stuff.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
I didn't know that, oh instant, Yes, absolutely, I'm.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Getting on the apps now. Six one five, seven, three
seven nine, one oh seven. If you can help Zach's friend,
what makes you swipe right on the dating apps?
Speaker 7 (26:19):
Let us know one O seven, Rickie, Zach, and Menno
in the morning.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
That makes a good dating profile. We're asking for a friend.
All three of us, Ricky, Zach and Mano are all
taken and in long term relationships, but we have a.
Speaker 4 (26:33):
Friend in need.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Gwendolyn, Welcome to one oh seven five The River. What
do you think should be in a short dating profile
in order to be like a successful one.
Speaker 9 (26:42):
Well, it really truly depends on how old she is
and what she's actually looking for. Okay, it really needs
to put in the profile.
Speaker 8 (26:48):
So say I just say she's mid thirties and she's
actually looking for a long term relationship, like not a hookup,
not just anything like that, just someone that she actually
wants to spend time with.
Speaker 9 (26:58):
I really wouldn't recommend dating out.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
Oh then where do you go?
Speaker 9 (27:04):
I am a I'm a divorce a twice and I
tried hinge because my daughter, who's twenty, says, oh Mom,
that's the way to go. And I'm like, okay, so
I paid for like three weeks. And I'm so sick
of people saying, Okay, what do you do for a living? Okay,
what is your favorite color? Like it's so stupid, everybody.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
The small talk can be kind of two surface levels sometimes.
Speaker 9 (27:28):
Yeah, And I think that if you're really wanting to
meet someone, do it organically like we did, you know,
back in the early nineties, and just put yourself out
there and go out and meet somebody and make it organic. Law.
Speaker 8 (27:41):
I don't want to be rude, but you said that
you met people organically and you've been.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Divorced twice, So is that really the best advice?
Speaker 9 (27:49):
I say, Well, my first husband called me yesterday and
said he wants to rekindle.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
So, oh, Gwendolyn, just a real quick clips note version
of this. What did you say back? Are you doing it?
Speaker 9 (28:02):
Well? You know, I really did love him, and I
really think that it could be. I mean, he's so cute.
Oh my goodness, he's so cute, simple, the whole nine yards.
So you know, I could be potentially swayed. But the
fact that after almost thirty years, the man still remembers
me and wants to come back, there's something right.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
Yeah, say you're doing something right there, Gwendolin.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Right, Okay, well, good luck, keep us posted now we're invested.
We want to know how this goes.
Speaker 9 (28:30):
Absolutely I will. I'm your favorite listener.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
In general.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
The best yes.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
To get back to the dating advice the things that
I know and I've never been on the apps. But
don't use a selfie, don't use any filters in your picture,
and don't have other people in your picture with you.
That's that's what I know. I will definitely agree with that.
Speaker 8 (28:50):
Don't have anybody else in there, because then you're like,
which one am I going on a date with?
Speaker 13 (28:53):
Like?
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Who are you really confusing?
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Yeah, you don't want to go on a date thinking
that it's someone else.
Speaker 4 (28:59):
Then the it's going to be a really.
Speaker 8 (29:00):
Awkward You think you're going out with the cute one
in the photo and then show up and it's the
weird cousin in the back.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Oh be nice. Everybody deserves love. But some of the
things though, that they do.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Say for a short successful dating profile are highlight a
few attractive traits, build up intrigue and attraction that obviously.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
Are going to make her or him want to swipe right.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Very vague stuff is all you can find on the
internet about this, Like there's no easy, right or wrong
way to do this apparently.
Speaker 10 (29:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
Man, I really feel just so lucky that I never
had to mess with the apps. I'm sure that plenty
of great relationships have been created on these dating apps,
but it's just too much for me. I would not
be able to handle it. If and when my boyfriend
ever breaks up with me.
Speaker 8 (29:47):
I'm just going to be single for the rest of
my life because I cannot do a dating app.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
I can't do it. Who's going to take care of you?
Speaker 8 (29:53):
That's so true. Maybe I'll just move into an assisted
living home.
Speaker 9 (29:56):
Then.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
Ricky's advice for dating apps and the bios and how
to make them intriguing and make people want to swipe
right on them. We have a friend who really needs
some advice. Sophie and Nashville. What do you have to
say about this?
Speaker 5 (30:13):
Well, I heard somebody say the apps is not the
way to go, so I just had to come on
here and say I met my wife on the app.
Speaker 6 (30:19):
Oh, congratulations, thank you.
Speaker 5 (30:23):
We've been married for three years and literally we're a
couple of goals like she's the best. I highly recommend
it to be yourself.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
What app did you guys use to meet Bumble?
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Okay, Okay, I like that Bumble also has bumblebff as well,
so they're not just a dating site.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
It kind of makes it feel more like inviting for sure.
Speaker 5 (30:42):
And I wasn't even actually looking for anything at the time.
I was very okay with my singleness, but I had
two tickets to a show and I needed somebody to
go with. A lot of people were doing this small
talk thing like it has been mentioned before, which was
so tedious and she just came on there and was like,
do you still have the ticket? I clean up real night.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
I love it. That's adorable. Okay, so there's hope. There's
hope for anybody who's using the apps.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Even though they can be a struggle at times, there's hope.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Sophie's proof.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
What show was that, Sovie? Just so we know what
was your first date?
Speaker 9 (31:19):
It was a.
Speaker 5 (31:19):
Broadway tea pack called Come from Away.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Also.
Speaker 8 (31:23):
I love the fact that it wasn't just like a
random concert, like this is a sophisticated first date.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
You went to tea pack.
Speaker 5 (31:28):
Yeah, and we actually made it an annual trip to
go to New York and see Broadway shows.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
So I love this. This is great, adorable.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
I want to bar.
Speaker 5 (31:38):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
I know I love that.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
I want to bar. It's a big compliment. She's like, oh,
thank you, thank you. Yeah for sure, Sophie, thank you
for calling. This is a great, you know, endorsement for
the apps.
Speaker 6 (31:50):
So thank you, thank you.
Speaker 9 (31:52):
Day love.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
See, I guess they're not all bad, then, I will say.
Speaker 8 (31:55):
The wedding I went to in Mexico in March. They
met on a dating app as well, and they've been
other for like six or seven years and then finally
got married.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
Ricky, Zach and Meno. In the morning, it's.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Time for the daily double tap, and it's all about
the gross weather.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
It's just terrible outside.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
It's like sticky and it rains randomly, and then their
sun and then it's gross.
Speaker 4 (32:15):
It's just eugh and everyone's feeling it.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
What is it like, Yeah, everyone's feeling it here in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Today's daily double tap. I want to sep it five
of the River is exactly just how it feels outside
right now.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Yes, this is the perfect analogy for Nashville's weather.
Speaker 9 (32:30):
Here we go.
Speaker 13 (32:30):
I live in Nashville, Tennessee, and I should know better
than this. It was a little naive to think this,
but it was pouring rain this morning and I was
looking out the window and I thought, yes, it's gonna
cool it down. Finally, I walk outside this morning and
my glasses fog up.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
You know what it feels like here.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
It feels like it.
Speaker 13 (32:47):
Feels like dog breath. It feels like hot, stinky dog
breath out here, when a dog's just in your face,
Like just like, that's what Nashville feels like. If you
wanted to visit it's perfect.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
It's so true. Though, it's so true.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
That's what it unfortunately feels like outside.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
And I love dogs. I love my dog, but his breath,
oh my god, dog bread dogs are the best.
Speaker 8 (33:10):
Dog breath is the worst. I feel like you need
a brush your dog's teeth or something. Kevin, there's something
else going on.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
There, old and dying zags. My goodness, brush is gonna
He's gonna solve it. He's he's got some issues. We'll
post the Daily Tell. He goes up in the Instagram
stories every day at one O seven five The River
on Instagram. If you want to find that one O
seven
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Five Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning
