Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Here we are let's go this Thursday morning, Thursday that
feels like a Friday. Welcome to it, everybody. Ricky Sanchez
is right here with those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Miley, Cyrus, Timothy Shallow, May Shack, and Moore are going
to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
There are a total of thirty five people slash groups
we're going to get a star in twenty twenty six.
And according to the website, in order to receive a
star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, you have to
meet the criteria of quote professional achievement, longevity in the

(00:30):
category for five years or more, contributions to the community,
and guarantee that the celebrity will be attend to the
dedicated ceremony is selected, which I did not know. Also,
if you've passed away and they are putting you up
for one, you have to wait two years.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Oh okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
I didn't know that either.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
So all new things, but they are all getting one
in twenty twenty six, So congrats all of them. Miley
had posted a very sweet kind of story about a
full circle moment how excited she is to have star
on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, So I'm excited for
all of them. Ed the Zebra is now in Texas.
I know you've been wondering, because I've been wondering what

(01:09):
happened to.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Visit him somewhere. If he was like available for.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Viewing that okay, well if that sounds that's a weird phrasing.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
If he was some.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Sort of sanctuary down the road, I'd want to go
away up to him.

Speaker 5 (01:20):
I get what you're saying, weird phrasing.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
His owners had a few conversations with zoos and animal
sanctuaries about taking Ed in because obviously they just can't
care for him. If you forget who Ed is, he's
the zebra who took not only Middle Tennessee but the
entire country by storm because he was on the loose
for like a week week and a half before he
was captured here in Middle Tennessee. He was on a

(01:42):
little farm in Christiana, walked around, was running around all
over the place by the highway. Even a lot of
us were worried, like me about him getting hurt. Now
he's in Texas, they're looking for the right place to
put him. The owners did say that he is healthy
and okay, which is really what matters.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
So hopefully they.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Find a night spot for him that makes him happy,
because I just want nothing but happiness for Fred.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Love ed.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
And it turns out it's really expensive to be a
sports fan nowadays. Unfortunately, a new survey found that it
costs up to four thousand, seven hundred and eighty five
dollars each year to be a sports fan. Who number
crunters put all these things together, but the cost of
services for live sports including YouTube, MLB, NBA, NFL, Peacock,

(02:29):
the amount of different streaming services that play different games.
We were talking about this just in general has gotten
so expensive, but now it's.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Insane when it comes to the sports fan.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
So you're paying a lot of money to be a
fan at this point, this is something ladies to use
his leverage now that you know, if your man is
always watching sports, to be like, I know, you're spending
five thousand dollars a year in all these sports passes.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
And we're not doing it anymore. Caller, you're welcome. I'm
Redey Sanchez and those are the three things you need.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
To know in your back pocket. And then if you
go to a sporting event of course you're going to
spend hundred more and snacks and drinks.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
And yeah, it's not even including the ticket never.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Ends, You're right, it never ends. How they get you?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
All right, you're flow right againting things started on this
Thursday morning.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
We appreciate just starting with us.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
It's the River, Richie, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Good morning, Betty and Murphysboro. Welcome to one oh seven
five the River. We are so happy to have you here.
We need to know some information from you in order
to get you. A lovely song from Kevin Mano aka
chat GBT as performed by Kevin Mano.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
So go ahead, Kevin, take it away.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
We're gonna ask you a few questions to get to
know you. What are you doing this weekend for the fourth.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Betty, Well, I'm gonna shoot off fireworks with my daughter
and then we're gonna go watch them as well.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
Okay, I love that luch I I have one child, yes, okay,
so she's clearly the favorite.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Then she's got no competition.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
What do you do for a living, Beddy, What do
you do for a living?

Speaker 7 (03:55):
I work for Amazon?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Oh so many Amazon workers up in columnist with the yeah,
what do you do for Amazon.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
I'm the delivery driver for them.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Well, thank you for what you do, because you're probably
at my house every other day. Betty, what's your biggest
fear in life?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Whoa snakes?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Hat?

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Snakes?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Okay, snakes, that's that's a logical one. If doesn't love snakes, yeather, my.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Dad doesn't like snakes, and neither is Indiana Jones.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yeah, okay, great fun fact right there, Betty. By the way,
if you haven't figured this out yet, you are the
first caller of the day on one seven, so you're
gonna get a fun where he'sac of Mano in the
Morning sticker, limited edition holographic very cool.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
And Kevin Mano. I think Kevin Mano has your songwriting.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
I'm ready, you ready, Betty.

Speaker 7 (04:41):
Okay, let's hear it.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Ready. Betty is a good rhyme. I just came up
with that, Okay.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Betty rolls through morning light, box is stacked in strapped,
uptight Amazon routes, she knows by name, through sun and rain.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
It's all the same.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
But this weekend's sparkling bright Betty fire Worth dancing in
the night with her daughter by her side. Laughter, loud,
eyes open wide, just don't show with snake, no way,
she'd scream and likely drive away. But stars and bangs
up in the sky. That's Betty's kind of Fourth of July.

Speaker 8 (05:16):
That might be your best one yet.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Heaven.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I love that you said it was awesome because that
got real intense in this studio.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
They got real intense. What's Betty no talking? I was like,
Oh no, he's in the zone.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
I'm like, oh, Betty, we hope you love that song.
We hope you have a great weekend with your daughter.
Be safe out there, and thank you for listening.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
Okay, thank you all so much.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
So fun wake Up Hathy with Ricky Zach and Manno
in the morning.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
I'm so excited to hear all the things that we
can do tomorrow to celebrate the Fourth of July. It's
Ricky Zach Amano in the Morning on one O seven
five of the River. Zach's got a full list of
things happening all around Middle Tennessee so that you can
celebrate the.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Yeah, so there's a lot happening tomorrow, but there's also
some happening today. So like in Clarksville today from five
to nine at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, they're doing
their Fourth of July where they're gonna have.

Speaker 8 (06:11):
Face painting, kids games, all of those things.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Also, Goodlettsville is today from four to nine thirty at
the Moss Right Park where they're gonna.

Speaker 8 (06:19):
Have the same thing, food vendors, a bunch.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Of fireworks, cute.

Speaker 6 (06:22):
So those are happening today. They're trying to get ahead
of the game, I guess. And then tomorrow Murphy's Borrow
was doing their Celebration under the Stars and it's at
the fountains at Gateway. Apparently it's gonna be like this big,
huge event and they're encouraging people to bring like lawn
chairs and blankets and picnic games so that you can
just hang out with your family while you're watching the fireworks.

(06:42):
It starts at four thirty tomorrow in Murphysboro, the town
of white Bluff. They are claiming to have the best
fireworks show in all of Dixon County.

Speaker 5 (06:52):
Those are big claims there. That's a big deal, they
sure are.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
So it's gonna be at the Community Center in downtown
white Bluff.

Speaker 8 (07:00):
It starts tomorrow at ten.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
Am with a horseshoe tournament and then they're gonna have
live music vendors, food trucks, face painting, a bunch of
stuff going on in White Bluff.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
They're bringing back horseshoes. Your corn hole over there.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
We're bringing back horseshoes.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I do love games in general, like a sort of
like picnic games as Zach just called them a minute ago.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
But horseshoes, that is a classic. I love horseshoes.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Well, you keep white starting at ten am in the tournament,
Kevin and then Columbia and Shelbyville they are both tomorrow.
They're doing big firework displays at their different locations. But
we have to talk about the huge one that's happening downtown.
Of course, it's called Let Freedom Sing. It starts the
site opens at noon, so if you want to go
get like a good spot, then you can go down

(07:43):
at noon. But people like Dirks, Bentley, Russell Dickerson are
all performing tomorrow downtown for it, and the fireworks are
in conjunction with a Grammy Award winning Nashville Symphony.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Oh so they're playing and it's synced up with the.

Speaker 8 (07:58):
Very really cool.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Last year there were three hundred and fifty five thousand
people that went though.

Speaker 8 (08:03):
Yeah, so if you plan on going downtown. It's gonna
be absolutely not good lucky Harry.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
So just keep that in mind.

Speaker 8 (08:10):
Yeah, man, So there's a lot going on.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
There was a lot going on, and just a reminder, Uh,
you're never gonna watch your firework videos.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Don't film the fireworks. You're never gonna watch that enjoyment.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
That was the realist PSA you've ever had.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Yeah, it's pointless.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
I mean, guilty of it as well, But why why
why just don't don't film the fireworks and be careful,
don't blow off your fingers.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Seven o five on this Thursday in morning. Here's a
great one, friends, Thank you for starting with us. Ricky's
got those three things.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
They came to a decision in the Diddy trial yesterday,
in case you missed it, he was acquitted of sex
trafficking and racketeering, but convicted on two counts of transportation
to engage in prostitution. The judge denied mail, so he
will remain detained until his sentencing happens, which as of
right now, has been set for this fall.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
Prosecutors said that they're.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Going to seek four to five years in prison as
their sentence. BNA has unveiled their new Concourse expansion. New
Concourse D expansion is one of the first projects that
is going to be finished or is finished, and three
billion dollars that they're putting into the growth expansion project
at BNA. The expansion added five new gates as well

(09:19):
as new restaurants. They have new shops, the airport's first
outdoor terrace, which is really cool moving walkway to help
travelers get to their new destinations, and the new gates will.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
Be operated by Southwest Airlines.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
It's officially open to travelers July eighth, so only a
few days away. And a pole says the perfect Fourth
of July party must have these four things.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
So they did a poll.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Two thousand people were asked to name the top must
have things for the Fourth of July when it comes
to parties.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Wings not even close.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Classic barbecue foods like burgers and hot dogs, that's on
the list. Fireworks obviously, great music, just like any parties,
so you know, make sure you're listening to one oh seven, five,
the river, nice and outdoor games are those are the
four things you need for your party. Seems pretty simple,
pretty easy. Arm Sanchez and those are the three things
you need to know.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Ricky, thank you so much. Right after MESSI, let's learn,
shall we are? Our buddy Zach is standing by. He's
got a fact.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
He's gonna teach us something on this Thursday morning. Next
on the river one seven five.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Ver Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
It's a new day and it's time to learn. It's
Zach's fax all one oh seven five the River.

Speaker 6 (10:29):
Okay, so we all know that your ears grow for
your entire life. So I had to look up how
much they actually grow over a lifetime.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
And just in case that that is new information to anybody,
correct your nose in your ears?

Speaker 4 (10:39):
I believe as you age they continue growing.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
Yeah, so your ears grow point two two millimeters every
single year.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
Inches? Do that in inches?

Speaker 6 (10:48):
What is a point three inches throughout your lifetime? Okay,
thank you, which is just wild.

Speaker 8 (10:53):
To think about.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but like
compared to your head, I feel like point three inches
is kind of a lie.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Yeah, yeah, that's a lot of lot.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
And there's your fact of the day exactly one o
seven five the River Reicky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
This question.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
We're about to ask you on one oh seven five
the River comes courtesy of Ricky and Zach delirium yesterday
and a full conversation that we had about this, So
now we're bringing it to you.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
You're so welcome.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Uh would you rather swallow a bottle rocket or go
downtown for the fireworks? With three hundred and fifty thousand people?

Speaker 4 (11:27):
That's a tough choice, it is it?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Right?

Speaker 8 (11:29):
Is a tough one.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
I mean, I know there's plenty of people.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
There's obvious three hundred and fifty thousand that would want
to go down there and be a part of that.
But the rest of us would rather swallow a bottle rocket?

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Well, let's see six one, five, seventh. Wow, I can't
even say the number six one, five, seven through seven
nine one oh seven? Call us tell us, would you
rather swallow a bottle rocket or go downtown for the fireworks?

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Is the bottle rocket lit?

Speaker 5 (11:52):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Well, yeah, okay, I just just asking the question. Let
us know, bottle rocket which you would rather?

Speaker 1 (11:57):
One O seven five the River reik, Zach.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
And Rick asked the very important would you rather question?
In honor of the holiday? It's one of seven five
the River. Good morning, Who's this?

Speaker 7 (12:08):
This is skits. Don't pinch that baby.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
We know exactly who this is now, Skip, tell us,
tell us, Skip, would you rather swallow a bottle rocket
or go downtown for the fireworks with three hundred and
fifty thousand people.

Speaker 7 (12:27):
The only reason I'd like to spend the fourth of
July with three hundred and fifty thousand people is because
what happens the food when you eat it?

Speaker 8 (12:35):
What is the food comes out the other end?

Speaker 7 (12:38):
Yeah? That's right. Did you really want a bottle rocket
that stick coming out the other end?

Speaker 4 (12:43):
Okay, so what is logical?

Speaker 7 (12:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (12:46):
You really thinking logically here?

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (12:48):
Yeah, I had to do it. I had to do.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
It all right, Skip, Thank you so much for calling in.
We appreciate you and we love having you here.

Speaker 7 (12:56):
Thank you so much. Love being on.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Hey great, and don't pinch that baby, I won't. I
like what a caller has a catchphrase.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
He had called us a while back and had used
that phrase, and we have never forgotten it.

Speaker 8 (13:13):
I'm obsessed with him.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Well, taking out the logical part about you know, actually
having a real bottle rocket, you.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
Would swallow the bottle rocket.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
I have no interest in going down and being around
that sort of crowd and then wondering how home and to.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Get home, and you're not gonna be able to get
an uber. It's no ground loud everybody Kevin's paniicaking.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
He's not anywhere near this situation.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Zach.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Would you swallow the bottle rocket?

Speaker 8 (13:35):
I mean, I will say.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
I did look it up.

Speaker 8 (13:37):
What happens if you swallow a bottle rocket, and.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
It says very unlikely for it to actually explodes.

Speaker 8 (13:42):
I'd probably swallow the bottle rocket.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
Interesting, once you ingested and swallowed it says it's improbable
after swallowing that it actually explodes.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
I guess it goes out right.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Yeah, but the stick would be the worst part.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
I think, well, you and Skip both believe that, and
I think you guys might be right.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
I would just go downtown. Guys, I would go downtown.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
You are all I really am, I really am very brave.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Have you ever done anything like that?

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Have you gone down there for the fireworks Shore like
Times Square, New Year's Eve or any of that stuff?

Speaker 8 (14:13):
No?

Speaker 5 (14:14):
No, no, no, but I say every year I want
to do it, just.

Speaker 8 (14:16):
To experience gone downtown for the Fourth of July.

Speaker 6 (14:20):
One time it happened literally one time, and I did
not get home until like three point thirty in the
morning because traffic was so bad trying to leave downtown,
Like I had to walk a mile out of downtown
to even get an uber back home.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
It was awful.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Okay, I've kind of rethinking my head.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Fine, if you're planning on going down.

Speaker 8 (14:40):
I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Ricky, Zach and the Tavin Mano's Game of the Day
on one O seven five the River.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
We're about to play a summer showdown between two contestants.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Winners getting VIP passes that means guaranteed entry and access
to our VP deck.

Speaker 5 (14:58):

good one.

Speaker 2 (15:01):

The door is open to you. Here we go. Your
summer showdown starts right now.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Name one of the stars of the movie Five Hundred
Days of Summer. Oh oh, such a classic. If you guys,
if you're both drawing blanks, we can move one.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Okay, we'll move past. Joseph Gordon, Levitt, Zoey Da Chanel.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
Great movie.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
That's okay.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Moving on to question two.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Here, which of the fifty United States is known as
the Sunshine State?

Speaker 5 (16:24):
That was tough. I think it was Joy.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
I was gonna say the same thing. I think that
went to Joy by a nose. Joy. What's your answer?

Speaker 7 (16:30):
Florida?

Speaker 4 (16:31):
It is Florida. That's a point. All right, Caylen, you're
still very much alive. Another tough one.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Rachel Bilson starred as Summer Roberts and what TV.

Speaker 8 (16:42):
Show Joy, Joy?

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Yes, go ahead, what's your answer?

Speaker 5 (16:47):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (16:50):
The other point on the board for Joy, it's the
OC nice job.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
Joy. If you get one more right, that means you in.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
So Kaylen, you gotta you gotta come back to life
here right.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Twenty ten? What female singer released the song Firework?

Speaker 7 (17:06):
Kaylen Klein, Katie Ferry.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
All right, a point for Klin.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Real.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
Now the Suns are an NBA team based in what city?

Speaker 7 (17:17):
Kylen Klein?

Speaker 8 (17:20):
Phoenix?

Speaker 7 (17:21):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Whoa, we're tied too too, LEAs all.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Right, here we go.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
This is a multiple choice question, so whoever buzzes in first,
you do run the risk of just giving your.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Opponent the answer.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Final question, which gender of mosquitoes bite?

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Male or female?

Speaker 7 (17:38):
Klen Klein female?

Speaker 2 (17:42):
Oh my gosh, Okalen way go from behind. Nice job, Kaylein,
thank you. Yeah, I wasn't aware of that. But male
mosquitos are they don't bite. I'm getting bogged down a
note y detail. The nobody cares about congratulations you're gonna
be on the road.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
In show in awe right now, about the fact that
gate was crazy.

Speaker 5 (18:05):

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Three things, Well, good morning. Thank you for starting your
day with us. We truly do appreciate it. Ricky Sanchez
over here has those three things.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Jennifer Andison is going to star in a series inspired
by Jeanet mccurty's memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died. She's
gonna star in it and be the executive producer for
this drama.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Comedy is what they're calling it.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
So Apple tv Plus describes the upcoming series as a
dramedy that quote will center on the codependent relationship between
an eighteen year old actress in a hit kids TV
show and her narcissistic mother who relishes in her identity
as a Starlit's mother.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
It'll have ten episodes.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
We don't have any release dates just yet for when
this is going to come out, but I'm Glad My
Mom Died was published back in twenty twenty two. It's
been over eighty weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.

Speaker 5 (19:14):
So this is a big deal. I'm excited to see
how it goes. This is a.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Great relationship with Apple, TV Plus and Jennifer Andison, so
I'm excited to see how this goes. Posts aka post
Malone's Bar on Broadway.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Is officially open. It's located at.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Three h five Broadway, and according to TC Restaurant Group,
the bar's main floor is the largest ground floor quote
unquote footprint on Broadway. It's got three bars, a VIP lounge,
a live music stage, and a gift shop.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
We only found out about this.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Bar a few weeks ago, so they did this, so
pretty good turnaround. Pretty good turnaround, perfect timing. It's open
for you for Fourth of July weekend. Go check it out.
And the first ten minutes of your day are make
it or break it. A new survey found that thirty
seven percent of people say that they know if they're
going to have a good day are a bad day
within the first ten minutes of waking up. Fifty percent

(20:03):
of those surveys said that they can tell how their
day is going to go based on how rested they
feel after they wake up. Forty nine percent said their
morning routine has been affected and that's how they know
how their day goes. So basically, we're all creatures of habit.
So the smallest, tiniest derailment in our routine is going
to mess us up for the entire day.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
I would sign my name to that for sure. My
morning routine is very important to me.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
You are a very routine driven person. I'm Ricky Sanchez,
and those are the three things you need.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
To know Reiky, Zach, and Meno.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
In the morning, I gotta say we're excited for the weekend,
and I'm specifically saying that because it's going to sound
like we're not excited for this weekend. In about a minute,
it's one O seven.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Five the river.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
The fourth of July weekend can be a lot of fun,
but there's a lot of injuries that happen this weekend specifically,
So there are common and preventable ones that we just
want to know float out there so that you can
avoid them.

Speaker 6 (20:56):
Let's see how boring Kevin can make our weekend boring.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
It's safety.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
You can doubt this idea and the data to let's
go caution.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
You are still have fun. Ers are crowded. Fourth of
July weekend. We're just trying to do what we can
to prevent that.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Okay, yes, tell us what we can prevent.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Obviously, the number one injury is firework related this weekend,
so a lot of minor hand and facial burns all
the way up to severe trauma from sudden explosions and whatnot.
So please exercise caution when you are around fireworks.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Please exercise caution.

Speaker 6 (21:28):
I will say I did read that like sparklers burn
hotter than blow torches.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Yeah, like it's really crazy.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Why do we give them the children?

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Now, that was the first thing I just thought of,
was being a kid and holding sparklers.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Eye injuries very very common as well from flying debris
and uh, maybe we're safety goggles when you're out there
with your safety. Next up on the list, alcohol related
injuries are way up there.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Incidents of all kinds. You know, impair judgment is a
leading cause behind many er visits. So please you're.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Selected the safe pigados.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
I'm just picturing Kevin walking around his backyard with us
sparkler in safety wear all weekend.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
Just wear them all weekend, wear them all weekend. Please
exercise caution. Everyone, be mindful.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
If you are consuming alcohol, limit it to one half
of a drink all weekend. Grill grill burns and cooking
accidents also very common this weekend. Everyone's firing up the grill,
so uh, you know, cautious around the grill.

Speaker 8 (22:30):
I will say, make sure you light the grill away
from your home.

Speaker 6 (22:33):
They say at least ten feet away from like any structure,
whether it be a fence, home, garage like that.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Exactly with somebody who was originally against this, you have
a lot of information about being safe during the fourth drive.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
Week is a firefighters, so I have to live with
this every day.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
This is one you might not think about, but heat exhaustion.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
And dehydration will be a major issue this weekend. It's
going to be very hot.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
The trend continues here, so stay hydrated, to drink plenty
of water.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
Every drink you have, you should be drinking a glass
of water.

Speaker 8 (23:02):
Don't freet the safety goggles.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Yeah you. Car and boat.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Accidents way up this weekend. Uh, it's you know, just
more crowded out there in a row, so don't drive.

Speaker 7 (23:11):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
And here's the the biggest bummer statistic of all this thing.
July has the highest number of drowning debts compared to
other months. So if you are on a boat, keep
that in the back of your mind. Just everybody cautious.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
Do not take your life jacket off, Do not take
good call.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Where your lif jacket where all the weekend with the
safety goggles, long sleeves, wear gloves all weekend, and your
flippers they hydrated.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Get one of those backpacks and has a little hose
that you can just drink water all weekend. Have fun,
have fun, have fun.

Speaker 8 (23:42):
Are a thief of joy.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
I'm already not having fun.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
Just summing out for everybody. Get out there, enjoy your
Fourth of July.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Sapoozy on one O seven five the River. We're about

I had to without looking at a list, like Charlie
bit My Finger, one of the first Charlie Yeah, Rebecca
Black's Friday was kind.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Of a viral. Oh yeah, and put it in reverse, Terry.
