stop talking about debut at number one with an impressive
forty two point five million dollars with their opening weekend.
Also at this past weekend, Freaking Your Friday premiered with
twenty nine million, giving them the number two spot, and
then rounding out the top five, We're the Fantastic Four,

(00:30):
the Bad Guys Too, and.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
The Naked Gun.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I am dying to see Weapons.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Everybody's talking about it.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
That's all I keep seeing on my social media, so
now I'm like, Oh, I have to go see it.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
National Film Festivals.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Speaking of movies, their twenty twenty five lineup is out
the festivals, happening September eighteenth.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
To twenty fourth.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
It's gonna feature more than one hundred and forty movies,
including thirty feature length films. They're also gonna have Q
and A's a panel at the Bell Court, a panel
at the Regal Green Hills and a bunch of other venues.
Individual tickets are currently on sale. You can find them online,
and Chick fil A's new fall menu rolls out this month.

(01:08):
Starting August eighteenth, They're introducing their very first seasonal soda.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
I think you might be into this. Sac you love Sprite.
It's the tangy cherry berry in Sprite.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
I'm out. Oh you said cherry, I'm out.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
You don't like cherry at all?

Speaker 5 (01:23):
No, I don't like like fake cherry flavoring.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
JKA. Then you're Zach. You're gonna hate this.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
They're coming out with the cherry Berry in Sprite, plus
a revamped pretzel Cheddar club sandwich with bacon cheddar and
creamy Dejon mustard. They're also making two new waffle chip flavors,
including one that tastes like their signature Chick file A sauce.
Now I'm in, Okay, we got them back. I'm Ricky
Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Thank you so much, Ricky. We're gonna play Miles Smith
right here. But hey, we have something for the first
caller or today in all week we have passes into
Music City Brewers Fest, which is coming up in a
couple of weeks if you want that. If you want those,
stick around fifteen minutes. We'll ask you to call for him.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
As we start this day on the river, Ricky, Zach
and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Morning going so far, so far, so good.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
People are back in school. It's traffic insane this early,
it is crazy.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Really yeah, I mean, honestly, Jamie, I hate to hear
that for you guys, but this is really exciting for
us because we love.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
When everybody's in traffic. If some guys want to listen
to us and talk to us and hang out with
us more.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, oh thank you. What's your commute, like, Jamie, not
too bad.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
You're one of the lucky ones then.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
So that's also I think why you seem so nonchalant
about the traffic.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
You're like, yeah, it's really bad. But mostly people get
really angry when we ask that question out.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Now, Well, you got us exactly like we said, like,
you know, who's complaining about traffic when you've got Ricky,
Zach and Mano in the morning with you. Hey, you
want to go to this cool music city Brewers Fest thing?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I do perfect, Jamie. You are the first caller of
the day. You've got tickets to go to Music City
Brewers Fast August twenty third at Walk of Fame Park.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
That's what I like to hear, Jamie. Who are you
gonna take with you?

Speaker 6 (03:11):
Probably my husband, I'd like that.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
There was probably.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
My best friend. Yeah, ask her first, ask her first.
Take the bestie.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
That's probably will good with me either way.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Whoever goes with you, Jamie, you guys are gonna have
a great time because there's you know, sample craft, beers, spirits,
dj sets, games, giveaways, everything you can imagine. It's gonna
be a lot of fun. So whoever you bring, you're
gonna have a great time.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Thank you so much for being so great for hanging
out with us this morning.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Thank you. All right, Jamie, hang out so we can
get all your information. But drive safe out there. We
appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Hang on, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
We've got more tomorrow. This is coming up soon. Like
we said, there's a Oh, let me find the countown
clock on their website. Gotta be updated now. It is
happening in exactly eleven days, sixteen hours, forty three minutes
to twelve seconds. Uh So, if you want passes, we've
got more tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
I appreciate the uptake.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Kevin seven five Reicky, Zach and Meno in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Have you ever been upset with your friend?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
But you're not actually upset with your friend, You're upset
with the drunk version of said friend. It's one O
seven five the River. That is exactly what I'm going
through this morning.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
I'm dying near some of these stories. Ricky and Zach
were out of town together this weekend, and Uh, Zach
acted a fool.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
I did, Oh, I did.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
There is one specific thing that I'm upset about. Everything
else is just classic Zac behavior. There's just one thing
that really just sent me over to.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
I can't wait to see why you're mad at me.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
After this song, Ricky will tell us what happened, and
then Zach, can we give you a chance to rebut?

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Oh, there would definitely be a Robut he's not gonna
I don't like the way you're saying that.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Not a word, No, I think it is. I'm gonna
look it up anyway. We're gonna get We're gonna get
into it next.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
On the one O seven, Recky, Zach and Meno in
the Morning.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
Seven.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
First of all, rebut is a word. I looked it up.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Uh, Zach.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Zach's going to offer his rebuttal after Ricky explains what
happened over the weekend. I'm going to try to referee
this thing because you two a sort of at each
other's throats already. We haven't even started.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Okay, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
First off, I want to say Zach has created this
this idea in his head that he needs to fight
this when the facts are the facts.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Zach, I'm ready.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
I love you so much. I'm not mad at Zach today.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I'm mad at drunk Zach over the weekend because you
I'm would you not talk for three seconds, I'm.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Gonna throw something at you.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Zach decided that when he was drinking over the weekend,
he was going to eat my leftover food, which annoying
in and of itself to eat someone's leftover food.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
At a restaurant still, or was this like back in
the hotel.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Back in the hotel, like I had eaten these chicken wings.
They were phenomenal. I didn't eat all of them, so
I brought them back to the room and I was
going to eat them later kind of thing. So I
put them in the fridge because we actually had like
a nice fancy with the fridge. I don't know how
we got that, but it worked out really nice, and
I was like, great, I can leave it in the fridge.
I'll eat it later as another piece of my meal
at some other point, which, like I said, annoying in

(06:11):
and of itself. I can only eat certain things because
I'm gluten free.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
And when you.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Leave your vicinity of where you live and you know
the places that you can go to that are gluten free,
it's very hard to find things that.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
You can eat. So zach ate them all while he
was drunk.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Not only did he eat the mall above my gluten
free wings, he also got a mess everywhere all over
the entire place, to the point where there are crumbs
from the chicken wings that I did not eat in
my luggage when I got home.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
What what were you doing?

Speaker 6 (06:44):
I was eating the chicken wings and dancing at the
same time I was walking around.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
So they were baked chicken wings. They weren't fried, they
were baked.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
They were so good.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Everything just fell off.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
And the rebuttal is the chicken wings that she claims
were her leftovers are the ones that I paid for
at the ball are I paid for dinner that night?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
You know you did not even the chicken wings from
a different night.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
I paid for those chicken wings.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
No, those are the chicken wings from when we went
out to dinner, not the ones from the bar.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
In correct, No, the research.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
No, it's I was.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Like, I paid for the chicken wings, so why would
I not.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
We went to Coraline or Caroline whatever it was Caroline,
one of those are restaurants, and that's where the baked
wings are from.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I still do no offense sack, but in your that's
not an argument. I mean, if you if you bought
some dinner, that doesn't mean you're entitled to eat their
left over.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Why not.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's just a basic rule of humanity that doesn't make
any sense.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
Also, I was hungry, Like what else did you want
me to do? Eat the sheets? Like what other options
were there?

Speaker 3 (07:46):
You could have just literally chucked it out, because if
I was hungry and all there was was your leftovers,
which was possible.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
This is the other that I forgot to say.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
He also had his own leftovers, did but he chose
my leftovers instead to eat.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Actually both of them master really psychotic. What was his
food was a pasta's out said it was, did you
find any pasta in your luggage?

Speaker 7 (08:08):
No?

Speaker 4 (08:08):
I did not, thank God.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
But if I, I wouldn't be able to eat his pasta,
and I would have to deal.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
With the fact that I was hungry. So his whole Oh,
I was hungry.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
What do you expect from me?

Speaker 4 (08:17):
I was hungry?

Speaker 2 (08:18):
What do you want me to do?

Speaker 5 (08:19):
Eat the sheets? Sorry about it?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Eat your pasta?

Speaker 6 (08:22):
I did, pasa the chicken wings.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Your rebuttal is garbage. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
We're sort of out of time. We don't have time
to get into it. But there was also a food
situation at the airport when you guys were plying. Eody
else strange.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
You have a problem.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Three things?

Speaker 2 (08:48):
All right, y'all, just after seven o'clock. Let's go starting
this Monday together. Thank you for being here. Ricky's got
those three things.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I'm
so happy that I'm about to say this. Demi Levado
performed with The Jonas Brothers last night. The Jonahs Brothers
kicked off their Jonas twenty so their twentieth anniversary Greetings
from Your Hometown tour last night.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
In their home state of New Jersey My Jersey Boys,
and they brought out their old friend Demi Lovado.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Who was rumored to be a special guest, but people
were divided on whether or not she would actually be
there because of all the drama between her and the
Jonas brothers. But looks like it's all in the past
because she went out there. She performed a few songs
with them. Here she is with Joe Jonas singing. Wouldn't
change a thing.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
From Camp Rock.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
She sounds good.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I just have to say, this is such an amazing
thing that they did this together, which is really cool.
But both of them, you can see how vocally they've
gotten so much better and how they've changed over the years,
which is actually the coolest part I think of the
whole thing because they both sound amazing. She sounds phenomenal,
he sounds penomenal. They're just mind blown by the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
We've got this. Miley is teasing Hannah Montana reunion stuff.
It's a good time to be Zach Woodward.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Loveless Cafe is going back in time by offering nineteen
fifty one menu and prices so guests can enjoy the
cafe's original menu every Wednesday this August, so this month
only from four pm to close, so not only the menu,
but you're gonna get the menu portions and the menu
prices from nineteen fifty one, So it means you can
actually afford to eat out, which is crazy to think about,

(10:44):
but I think this is really cool that Loveless Cafe
is doing this.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Obviously a really cool promotion.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Go check it out every Wednesday from four to close
this August. And Instagram has a new map feature that's
got a lot of people upset. This new feature is
a little bit scary, but it's kind of something that
you have to opt into, which is the one positive.
So if you've got the latest update, then you've probably
gotten the notification that pops up telling you about maps.
The idea is for you to see where your friends

(11:09):
are at, much like Snapchat does with their map section.
You could share with everybody, only your friends, only your
close friends, or.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Nobody at all.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Just something to keep in mind, especially if you are
a parent. If you have parental controls, you don't have
to worry about this, but if you don't, you want
to make sure that your kids do not have this
feature on because you do not want random people to
be able to see where you are. I had to
go into mine and put nobody at all I find
my friends. So the few people that need to know
where I'm at, sure where I'm at, and God forbid
something happens, they can find me. But I don't need

(11:40):
random people to know where I'm at, just something to
keep in mind. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
It's a good tip, honestly, Ricky, a good PSA, So
thank you for that. Right after Shaboozi, it's time for
Zach's Facts. We're all learning together in exactly three minutes
on the River one seven five the River Reiki, Zach and.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Meno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
No classes in session, but Ricki Zach in the morning
is also in session.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
It Zach's Facts all one to seven five the River.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
You guys, take a guess the world's oldest cat. How
how long do you think it lived?

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Uh? Thirty two? Pretty close.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
The world's oldest cat live to be thirty eight years
and three days old.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
And his name was cream Puff.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
That's an adorable cat. That is the cutest name for
a cat. I don't even care how long it lived.
That is adorable.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
I've never had a cat, and thirty two is just
a wild guest, Like, what's the average lifespan? Thirty eight
teams crazy?

Speaker 6 (12:30):
Okay, So I looked it up and it says thirteen
to twenty years is the average lifespan of a cat.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
So thirty eight is it's insane.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
Wait to go, cream Puff, Good job, cream Puff And
there's your fact of to.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Day, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
I feel like I'm always looking for another good podcast
to add to my my rotation, my weekly rotation of podcasts,
and U I know there's a lot of good ones
out there. There's so everybody has a podcast. We have
a podcast. If you're not hipped to it, search Ricky
Zach and wherever you get yours. But we want you
to tell us your favorite hip to it.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
That just really caught me up.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
I know when you said that, I was like thing
to say.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
I'm very him six on.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Five seven, three seven, nine one o seven. Give Kevin some.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Suggestions for new podcasts or to add to his rotation.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
And please try and make him more hip.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Yeah, maybe maybe there's a podcast out there about you know. Yeah,
he's take it. Let me know what's your favorite podcast?
Let us know it's The River.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Ricky's Zach and Men in the morning.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Seven five the River. Let's take good morning to Lauren
in Nashville. Lauren, our question at the moment, what is
your favorite podcast?

Speaker 5 (13:40):
The Lonely Island in Seth Meyers podcast, talk about it.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
I am so happy you said that. That is currently
my my absolute favorite podcast.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
It's the funniest, like most sweetheartwarming best, like they're the coolest,
funniest guys. Zach does not know who anybody that you
just named were, so he's literally staring into the abyss
trying to rack his brain of this could make sense.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
I have no idea, like why it's so funny to
give me like a thirty second synopsis.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I'll give you the synopsis, Lauren. You jump in if
I get anything wrong here. But it's the three guys
from the Lonely Island. So it's Andy Sander.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
I do know who the Lonely Island is.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Okay, Andy Samberg, Yourma and Akiva. Those are the three
guys that did all those digital shorts for SNL. They
recap every episode of SNL with Seth Myers.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
That sounds so boring.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Oh no, it's not, it's so good.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
Let me recap a TV show boring.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Okay, she's going on.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Podcasts are right now, Zach? What are you talking about?

Speaker 5 (14:33):
It sounds not interesting?

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Well, thank you for your you know, favorite podcast. I'm
sorry that Zach hates everything today.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
But yeah, I'm disappointed him.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, yeah, of course, thank you, Lauren appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Have a great day you too, Bye bye, Zach?

Speaker 2 (14:46):
What I mean? Do you ever listen to a pod?
I never hear you talk about podcasts other than our own.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
I do not ever listen to a podcast.

Speaker 4 (14:52):
You want to know what Zach listens to in the car?

Speaker 3 (14:54):
Zach is the great No, Zach is the greatest employee
for one reason, in one reason only.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
He listens to one of seven five of the River all.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Day, every literally single day.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
He never puts anything else on.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
It's on when he's sleeping at home.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Yes, like it's never not actual information, which is wild.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
No one loves the river more than Zach loves the River.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
I'm sorry that I'm dedicated.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
I'm not mad about it. I don't know why you're
coming at me. I just complimented you.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Okay, So what is your favorite podcast. Then I don't.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
Listen to many podcasts.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
I do have my friends do the Morning Show podcast,
and I do listen to that.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
It's a lot of news, okay, so it's really easy.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
To kind of like get as much news as possible
all in like fifteen minutes, fair enough, and it's stuff
that you know, we don't talk about necessarily on our show,
but some stuff that I should know about.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
And then I say, caught up.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
You don't have to doom scroll.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Then you know, absolutely I'm with that, Kevin, What else.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Do you listen to? Because I already know that.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
I wait, I can't wait.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
What are you to hate?

Speaker 1 (15:54):
No?

Speaker 2 (15:55):
I like a lot of like long form interviews like
it all probably started with Howard Stern and then like
Mark Marin's podcast, Be Going Forever. I like Dak Shepherd's
podcast and SmartLess just like a nice hour hour and
a half long form interview.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
That's hour and a half.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
You want to know.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
It's so funny about that. See, I love everybody that
you just mentioned. The hilarious part to me about this
is that Kevin can't focus for more than four seconds
on anything, but he'll listen to a long form podcast
so that's saying a lot for these people.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Thank you your attention, not in one sitting. You know,
I walk round with it. It takes me a week
to get through one of them.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Ricky, Zach and Men.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
The new week.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
That means we got a new game for Kevin Manno's
Game of the Day on one oh seven five The River,
presented by Genesis Diamonds. I have no idea what it's called,
because Kevin likes to surprise me on air because typically
I don't like the names he picks.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
But I won't tell us, and I'm scared.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
It's for Katie Ferry tickets.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
I can tell you that she's in Nashville next week
at bridge Stone Arena on August nineteenth.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
You can win the tickets if you play well.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I'm gonna let you choose the name. You just want
to keep it simple and call it a Katy Perry
pop quiz or a Katy Perry Query. No, no query, Wow,
Katy Perry pop quiz.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
He doesn't even rhyme, Kevin, it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Work, Perry Query.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
You're trying to make it work, and it doesn't work.
It's a Katy Perry pop quiz.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Okay six seven It is trivia questions about our friend
Katy Perry. If you get two out of three of
them right, you get tickets to see her next Tuesday
at Bridgestone. Katy Perry Query No, the first one in
pall us.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
Now we're playing.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Ricky, Zach and Meno. In the morning.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
You're playing a Katy Perry pop quiz for Kevin Mando's
Game of the Day on one oh seven five the River.
We have Katy Perry tickets. She's gonna be at Bridgetown
Arena next week on August nineteenth. Welcome Shauna and Nashville
to the show to play the game.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Good morning, how are you? How is your weekend?

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Too short?

Speaker 2 (17:57):
But good? I feel that okay?

Speaker 6 (18:00):
Would you consider yourself to be a big Katy Perry
fan because this is trivia all about her, so I
feel like you gotta be well versed.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
All right, I'm gonna do my best.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Okay, two out of three of these questions, these Katie Perry,
these Katie Perry queries, two out of three. Heaven no,
it kind of rives two out of three of them
in the tickets three years. Are you ready?

Speaker 4 (18:20):
I'm ready?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
All right, Sean, here we go. Your game starts right now.
We'll start with an easy one. Finish the lyric. Okay,
do you ever feel do you ever feel.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Like a shooting start?

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (18:36):
No, it's like a plastic.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Bag bag floating through the wind.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Firework is firework?

Speaker 5 (18:44):
All right?

Speaker 2 (18:44):
That's fine. Question two? You get this, you're still alive.
In October of twenty ten, Katie married what comedy actor?

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Oh goodness? Uh?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
She married.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Oh my goodness, Orlando Bling.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
No, in twenty ten, it was Russell Brand. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Oh sorry, Shauna, Thank you for playing them. Try again
later this week.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Okay, thanks Shauna. We turned out to Whitney in Columbia.
Good morning, Whitney.

Speaker 5 (19:13):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I'm great, How are y'all? We're good, We're good. We're
doing our Katy Perry pop quiz. Shauna couldn't make it happen,
so we turn to you. Now. Two out of three
of these questions right, and the tickets here is Are
you ready?

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (19:26):
All right?

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Gotta be a big Katy Perry fan. Question number one
for you? What is Katy Perry's real name? Oh? Catherine, Okay,
last name?

Speaker 6 (19:41):
It's something simple at Brown.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Maybe no, it's Hudson Catherine Hudson very similar to Kate Hudson.
But yeah, no, Catherine Hudson was the right answer. All right,
question two, Here we go. We're not doing so hot.
Katy Perry and her left shark went viral at What
Event super Bowl halftime show shark exactly. All right, here

(20:08):
we go. You get this right? You in probably the
easiest question so far. In twenty eighteen, Katie Perry joined
the cast of What TV Show? We did it?

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Congratulations, You're gonna see Katy Perry next week August nineteen.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
That bridge shown arena. We hope you have so much fun.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Whitney, thank you three things you need to know a
bit past eight o'clock on this Monday morning, starting a
brand new week over here.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Thank you for joining us. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
The Boring Company has unveiled its proposed and nine point
five mile tunnel route here in Nashville.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
It's gonna run beneath.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Rosa L Parks Boulevard, Eighth Avenue, and Murphy's Roe Pike
to the airport. A Music City Center station is also
being considered in the underground parking garage.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
All of these things are proposals.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Right now, I'll keep you updated on what they agree
upon and how this is gonna work, and and it's
all starting all of that stuff to keep you in
the loop. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is celebrating fifty
years with events and a return to.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
Theaters this fall.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
So for all of our Halloween themed lovers out there,
part of the celebration includes the theatrical re release in October.
They're going to have four K restoration.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
There's gonna be a bunch of events with cast members.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
They're hitting fifty five cities as a tour with a
bunch of the cast members. A fiftieth anniversary vinyl edition
of the soundtrack is also going to release October tenth
as well.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
All fun stuff for fifty years. Kind of crazy to
think about.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
And Converse is launching a new Bluey shoe collection for kids.
So the limited edition Converse Bluey Line just came out
and it has seven different pairs of Bluey and Bingo
themed shoes in classic Chuck Taylor styles.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
There's also some T shirts and a hoodie as well.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
I just know that all the kids are going to
go crazy for this because this is like the number
one show.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Everybody loves Bluey.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Bluey's the bat. I love Bloey. You want those shoes?

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Blue You want the shoes? How cute would it be
if there were matching shoes? Like, Okay, I've never done.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
I've never done the matching match thing with my kids.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Before you had like the shoes of the dad and
then they had like Golooey or something like that.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
That would be cute.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
You're not into it, That's fine. I'm Y Sanchez and
those are the three things you need to know. I
guess that's the one dorky thing you're not into.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Kevin is matching with my kids. Yeah, yeah, no, no, no,
I'm just gonna get them for myself in my size
and I'll say sorry kids, they'll make them kids. That's
so mean, Ricky, thank you for that. Here's Alex Warren
jumping back into the music.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
On the River one, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
They are about to officially come to terms with a
big argument that we always have on Ricky, Zach and
Mano in the Morning, and that is about the fact
that both Kevin and Zach are terrible drivers.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
I cannot wait to win this and.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
They like to pretend as if I'm a bad driver
because they're bad at driving.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
You're both bad drivers. I admittedly am a terrible driver.
I am very reckless behind there where he has removed
me from this. I am gonna quitz Ricky and Zach
some questions from like a standard Tennessee driver's test to
see who's the better driver, to see how you guys do,
and definitively say once and for all, which one of
you two is the better drive.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
I cannot wait for this moment.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Okay, we're gonna do it next on one O seven
five the River. I have a feeling you're not gonna
do as good as you think you are, Zach.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
But it's coming after.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Benson Boone, Ricky and Zach and Meno in the morning're going.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
To determine once and for all who is the better driver,
Ricky Sanchez or Zach Woodward.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
I just want to go ahead and say that even
if I lose this this game that we're about to
play over the driver's test, I know I'm a better driver.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
Sound like a loser, just based off.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Of the fact that Zach gets into accidents and gets
tickets and all sorts of things way more.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Than I ever have in my entire life.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
This is true. This is very true.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
But go ahead, let's let's play this little games.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
I'm ready.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
I'm ready to a couple of questions for both of you.
These are taken from actual drivers tests, you know, written
tests here in Tennessee. Ricky will start with you ladies. First,
are you ready to Ricky? If your vehicle starts to skid?
What is the correct response.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
If it starts? Oh, you're gonna give me? Okay, great?

Speaker 5 (24:23):
Yeah, you both multiple choice.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Steer in the opposite direction of the skid or turn
the steering wheel in the direction of the skid.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Turn the steering wheel in the direction of the skid.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Hey, you got a point.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Yeah, point for me, Zach. What should you do if
you're being tailgated? Tap your brakes to let the tailgate
know they're too close, or avoid breaking and consider changing lanes.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
I would say be.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Avoid breaking, consider changing lanes.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
That's correct, all right, I mean that's not what I
would do, But that's absolutely not what I would.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Do, Ricky. What does a curb painted white signify in Tennessee?
Is it a passenger loading unloading zone or emergency vehicle
parking only? A hey, passenger loading and unloading curb.

Speaker 5 (25:14):
We are nailing it.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
I'm actually impressing both of us.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
So I chose these questions because I didn't know, Zach,
what's the most common cause of rear end collisions? Following
too closely or speeding? B no following too Ricky pulls ahead?
I lost that one.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
That's okay, Zich. I'm actually genuinely impressed with you.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Right, let's just say, Ricky, what here? I'll ask you
one more question, and you guys buzz in whoever knows
this gets it. Okay, At what distance should you signal
before making a left or right turn?

Speaker 5 (25:51):
Fifty feet?

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Okay, Ricky wins.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
Is it not fifty feet? It's at least one hundred
feet at least. So like when you say at least,
I mean's like a mile away that you could start
doing it. Do you think one hundred feet is a mile?
You said at least one hundred feet?

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Yeah, at least.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
Means that you can do it prior to.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
That, sure, Ken, but you have to do it by
at least one hundred feet before you turn.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
So if you do it prior to that, then that's okay.
But you're still passing other roads. That answer is not
that's not correct.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
That is actually yes, the right answer.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
No, that's about it.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Wins on the Morning Show and I knew it all along.
I am going to be a sore winner right now
and say I knew I was going to win this.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Yeah, I knew you were going to win this too.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Leave me alone, Rickie, Zach and Men in the Morning
seven five the River.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Today's Daily double Tap is all about group chats.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
You know, names that you name them typically don't make
any sense. They're normally inside jokes and absolutely ridiculous because
you don't think about the time that you're gonna have
to say them out loud. Yeah, and that's what this
daily double tab is all.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
About, saying all those group chat names out loud.

Speaker 7 (27:07):
Here we go, what chrisander one just said he can't
go anymore?

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Your kid?

Speaker 7 (27:10):
Wait where do you say that?

Speaker 5 (27:11):
He just said it?

Speaker 7 (27:12):
And on Gremlins of the West Side, check your texts?
Wait where did he just send the Airbnb like? Oh,
check on, I actually can't believe it's butter Oh I
have that muted? Sorry, that's okay, found it. Did you
just see what Melaniye put in the work group chat
on teams. Yeah, let me which one worms with Wi Fi?

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Let me check.

Speaker 7 (27:28):
I know it is somebody fighting with Octavian. What makes
you say that he just left the like hair enthusiasts
group chat? Oh my god, he did. Why would you
guys check your texts?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Those are good? And I relate most to the guy
that said he had one muted. That's what I do
all my everything.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Yeah, Moore, Kevin gets put into group chats because Kevin
has a fear of missing out. But then when it happens,
he goes, oh, I want nothing to do with this.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
I like to know what's being discussed. Ninety eight percent
of the time, I don't care, and I don't bother
chiming and I just kind of skim him. But yeah, really,
every once in a while I like to be involved.
One oh seventy five The River
