Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Right, let's go six o'clock on the dot here on
this Thursday morning. Thank you so much for starting with us.
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Beyonce is halfway to an egot with her first Emmy win.
Beyonce has earned her first ever Emmy four Outstanding Costumes
for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming for her Beyonce Bowl Halftime.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Show special on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
The award recognizes her work as a costume designer alongside
her collaborators. This is obviously a major milestone for anybody
in entertainment because now that she's halfway to an egot,
which is an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, we all
think it's Beyonce.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
She's going to eventually have the egot, which is like
top tier. You've done and accomplished everything.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
You possibly can in a way, and then it's like
where do you go from there? She'll find a way,
but you wonder where do you go from there? So
congrats to Beyonce. The National Sounds have announced their twenty
twenty six schedule. They're going to open the season at
home on Tuesday, March thirty, first against the sho Charlotte
Knights some keynotes about their schedule. They're gonna have home
games over Fourth of July weekend and Labor Day weekends,

(01:07):
so those are fun things to do with the family
if you're staying here in Nashville for those weekends. And
the twenty twenty six season will have thirty nine weekend games,
including thirteen games on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays throughout the season,
which is also a great thing to note of because
there is nothing better than going to a Sounds game
and just hanging out on a nice day.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Like before it gets super super hot out, like.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Just having a day at the Sounds is There's nothing better.
And I love this new study and what it says.
Couples who gossip together stay together. According to this study
by the University of California, So the study had participants
who gossiped for an average of thirty eight minutes per day,
with twenty nine of those minutes spent gossiping with their

(01:50):
significant other and gossiping after social events really made couples
feel more connected, reinforcing the idea that they're.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Quote on the same team.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
All the couples who gossip reported higher levels of happiness
and relationship satisfaction, and I agree.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Would you say, would you consider yourself?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I do want to you know, Sah, I'm a gossip
I gossip about everything. But this is the thing, Like
I love gossiping with AJ because he doesn't gossip, so
he just sits there and listens to me, like unload
all of these things on him. And it's a great
way for me to be like, all right, I got
it out of my system.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
I could.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I could see Aja, you're a Ricky's fiance never saying
one negative thing about anybody.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
He's he really doesn't like You've got to do something
bad for him to say something negative about you, which
is why when he then agrees with me on something,
I'm like, I knew I was onto something.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I knew I was onto it.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Oh man, all right, thank you, Ricky, appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Coming up in about fifteen minutes for the first call
of the day, more of these passes into Music City
Brewers Fest, which is happening next weekend.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
We've got that for you. First call or hang tight,
they're coming. Here's Benson Boone on the River.

Speaker 6 (02:56):
One, Ricky and Zach and Menno in them.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Good morning, Kristin and Murphy's Borough. Welcome to one of
seven five the River. Are you on your way to
work right now?

Speaker 5 (03:05):
I am actually on my way to drop my kids
off with my sisters to take them to school, and
then I'm.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
On my way to work. Okay, get in the morning started, Yes.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
So what time do those kids get up?

Speaker 5 (03:17):
They've been up for probably about twenty.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Minutes, Okay, around six that's it's an early morning for them.

Speaker 7 (03:24):
Yeah, we're excited where you and the kids had to
go back to school. Excited.

Speaker 8 (03:28):
I've been a little sad.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Something much shorter than it was when I was a kid.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Yeah, it is.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Oh, that's really sweet, though, I feel like six am
is not that early, Kevin, because your kids wake up
as early as you do.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Sometimes A yeah, they're freaks, so I feel like most
kids would want to sleep in.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Nothing like a parent calling their kids a bunch of freaks. Kristin,
we hope you have a great day today. We're going
to start it off the best way that we know how,
and that's to tell you that you are the first
color of the day on one of seven five the River.
You're going to to get to be He's like city
brewis frest happening August twenty third at Walk of Fame Park.
So make sure you get a babysitter, because the kid's gotta.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Stay with someone else.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
You're gonna be busy drinking samples of craft beer, hanging
out with the DJs, playing games and giveaways.

Speaker 8 (04:13):
That's so exciting.

Speaker 9 (04:14):
Thanks so much.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
You're welcome.

Speaker 9 (04:16):
Hang on the line, Love, I cannot stop thinking about
the fact that you just called your children freaks, Kevin,
I did.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
I meant in the most loving way possible?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Ah, I mean, honestly, you should hear the things that
my parents call me.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Another chance to win this tomorrow.

Speaker 9 (04:30):
It's all out of love.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
One Rickey, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Think of the cringiest movie that you have ever watched?
Times that by thirty and that is Kevin Mano's favorite
movie ever. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
On one O seven five of the River. I watched
Kevin's favorite movie, Back to the Future, and I watched
Back to the Future too good. I do not understand

(04:55):
how that's your favorite movie.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Can you first.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Explain why you love it so much? And then I'm
gonna tell you what I thought was so horrible about a.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Fair amount of nostalgia for me. Obviously, I watched it,
you know, the first time when I was a kid.
All those movies, I think they're very smart when you
lay out the science of the time travel in the
timeline where he's already making a face like she doesn't
believe me. There's like a lot of little easter eggs
and hidden things that you know over the years you
just learn about.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
You're like, oh my god, wow, I didn't realize that.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
So it's just kind of the gift that keeps on
giving their great movies.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Michael J.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Fox is a national treasure, as is Christopher Lloyd. I
just I love everything about Back to the coming back
to Okay, I feel like.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
You can keep going, so I'm gonna cut you off here. Yes,
please let you know that number one Back to the
Future too. I liked way more than the first one, okay,
which is very much not how it normally works, right, Typically,
the first one is like, oh, this is epic, nothing
can ever top it. I liked the second one better,
and I understood a little bit more about why people

(05:55):
are obsessed.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
With that movie, because it has a cult following. People
love that movie.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
I don't even know that. You call it a cult following.
It has a huge fall, it's.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
A cult following. But the first one, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Maybe it's just me and the way that I think
about life, but I could not get past the whole
relationship thing with him and his mother.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Sure it makes sense if you've.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Watched Back to the Future, you know that it's this
kid who goes back in time, and when he goes
back in time, there's this very weird scenario where like
his mother, who is a young teenager like falls in
love with him.

Speaker 7 (06:37):
Ew Yes, why do you like this movie so much?

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Kevin?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
It's not it don't make me weird weird. It don't
sound like I like the movie because of that relation.
That's the only reason you like it. No, I recently
watched this movie with my kids, and yes, all of
that freaked us out.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Like Ally and I were looking at each other like, oh.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
God, maybe like that is very weird, but that's a
like it's supposed to be weird in the movie.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
That's kind of a large piece of the plot.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Yeah, I think they made it a little too weird.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
And I just could not get past that point in
the first one, and every time any moment happened between
him and his mom, I would just go, oh, no,
why is this happening? And then when the second one happened,
I was like, Okay, I can get behind this. And
then there's a moment where he goes back to that moment,
and I was like, why are we.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Doing this yet?

Speaker 9 (07:24):
I just feel like, after hearing everything that you had
to say, Kevin, I love you so much, but I'm
never watching this movie.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
I can't do it.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
It is a classic. I mean these movies.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
It's not like these weird little like uh obscure references
that nobody's ever seen before, like these are known to
be some of the greatest movies of all time.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
No, they are not.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
I I won't say that I regret watching them.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
I'm happy that I watched them. I watched them.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Specifically because Kevin said they're his favorite, so I was like,
let me watch.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I want to know what this is about.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
I just the whole time put into something about why
do you love this so much?

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Because of the best movies ever.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Let me just throw one tiny little cool detail at you.
Then we can move on past back to the future.
So when Marty gets to the mall. First beginning of
the first movie, it's the Twin Pines Mall. Okay, okay,
And then he takes off in the DeLorean and he
is in the fifties and he goes crashing through one
of these two pine trees. Okay, there's two pine trees there,

(08:21):
and they make a reference to the old man Peabody
gonna raise pines whatever.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
So he crashes through one of the two.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Later at the end of the movie when he goes
back to the movie, it is the Lone Pine mall,
because one of those two it's not the Twin Pines anymore.
It's the Lone Like it's these all these subtle little things,
these little details.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
They don't thought that was interesting enough to tell us.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I've got so many, Zach, that was just one.

Speaker 9 (08:45):
I'm sure everyone in the car right now wants to
turn the car off this side.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Of the road. And yeah, and watch Back to the Future.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Don't watch it if you have it.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Three you need to know all right after seven o'clock
on this Thursday morning, Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
She was on the Kelsey Brothers podcast New Heights last
night to discuss the erastour and to talk about her
upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. She truly gave
us so much from this interview. I highly suggest that
you go listen to it or watch it because there's
so much happening. But I'm going to let her tell
you the biggest chunks that you need to know about

(09:21):
everything that she said with this one clip.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Here you go.

Speaker 10 (09:24):
Every single song is on this album for hundreds of reasons,
you know, And you couldn't take one out and it
be the same album. You couldn't add one, and it's
just right. That focus and that kind of discipline with
creating an album and keeping the bar really high is
something I've been wanting to do for a very long time.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Okay, So the album Life of a Show Girl has
twelve tracks on it. It's coming out October. It's going
to be huge. Obviously, you need to, you know, mark
your calendars, be ready for it, because this is gonna
be a big one.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
I will say, just so you know. The two things
that I have about the thoughts of this interview.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
One, I could not stop smiling about Travis Kelcey' support
of Taylor. He hyped her up in every way shape
and form, And I've just always believed that everyone deserves
a partner who hypes them up. If you do not
have a partner who hypes you up, dump them. Get
somebody who will. That's one hundred percent just.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
What I believe.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
If they do not support you in every little thing
that you do. She was talking about how she makes
sour dough breads and how she sews, and she was like,
I can only sew two things, and he's hyping her
up about the two things that she knows how to.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
So that's how your relationship should be.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
The support is so important. And number two, my prediction
is that this is going to be a nineties pop vibe.
This album is going to have a nineties pop vibe
is what I think is going to be what we
are getting from the life of a show Girl. I
could be wrong, you never know, but that's just that's
the vibe that I'm getting.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
After watching the entirety of it.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
You can listen to the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
Highly suggest the New Hypes podcast.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Go listen for yourself.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Kind of crashy Internet last night, Yes it did.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Yeah, football season is almost here.

Speaker 11 (11:00):
We go.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Star will once again transport Titans fans to all preseason
and regular season home games, So service begins elevenon. It's
gonna have stops along the way. Train arrives downtown an
hour before kickoff and departs one hour after the games.
Round trip tickets are currently on sale on the wigo's
website for fifteen dollars each plus a two dollars processing fee.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Parking is free at all of the.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Stations, and passengers kent tailgate at the train stations prior
to the game and on the train. Just so you know,
So this is a huge thing that will make your
life so much easier.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Take advantage of it and quick little life.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
At here you can get all of Garden soup by
the gallon. A person on TikTok is gone viral for
this hack. If you love yourself some olive Garden soup.
I mean, they're known for their soup and bread stakes,
pasta yes, and their birthday song of course Kevin's favorite.
Just order gallon or a half gallon on their catering
menu and it has multiple servings in it. She's gone

(11:57):
viral for this. Armrique Sanchez and those are the three
things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
That's good to know, Ricky, thank you very much. Let's
play Alex Warren, Here's Ordinary.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Right after this song, we have one more thing to
teach you, Zach's Fax.

Speaker 6 (12:09):
Next down the river, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
Morning, seven to the river. It's time to learn grow
that brain. It's time for Zack's facts.

Speaker 9 (12:18):
The other day, Ricky and I randomly fell upon this
fact that it just blew both of our minds. But
did you know that Tricia Yearward and Leanne Rhimes released
the exact same song on the exact same day.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
What do you mean by the exact same song title?

Speaker 7 (12:31):
It is called how Do I Live That?

Speaker 9 (12:32):
Here's Tricia and here's Leanne. It's literally the exact same song,
written by Diane Warren, and it was released on May twenty,
nineteen ninety seven by both of them.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
It seems like it had to be intentional, right.

Speaker 9 (12:57):
Tricia, She sang it for on air the film I
Love That Hers was in the movie, and LeAnn Rimes
went to.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
Radio Ricky, have you ever seen conn Air?

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Of course I have?

Speaker 4 (13:07):
Okay, good, you like that one.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Okay, she was making fun of my favorite movie earlier. Anyway, interesting, Zach,
I had no idea.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
There's a factor today.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
One O seven five the River, Ricky Zach and Minnow
in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Soft or hard cookies. It's one O seven five the River.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
That's the simple question we are asking all because of
yesterday's daily double Tap. We do the daily double tap
every day around eight point fifty.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Where we play you a clip of something.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
That's either gone viral or we find interesting and we
play it for you on the radio. Yesterday's was a
debate about softer hard cookies, which obviously just caused chaos.

Speaker 7 (13:41):
Oh we all got into it.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
It's a divisive topic.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
So we want you to call six one five seven,
three seven nine one oh seven and really.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
Make the case for hard or soft, because I just.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
We're split in this room.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I can't imagine anybody who wants to eat a hard cookie.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
I love a hard cookie, oh see, and I have
a totally different take on all of this.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
So let us know where you stand.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Six one five seven, three seven.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
Nine, Ky Zach and men in the Morning after hard cookies.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
That is the question we pose today on one oh
seven five of the River. We had a daily double
tap yesterday that was a debate about this, and obviously.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
The three of us got into it because we can
do it about.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Every debate you could possibly imagine. But before we say
our stance in depth, Destiny and Lebanon, what do you
think are you more of a soft cookie person or
a hard cookie person?

Speaker 8 (14:30):
A soft cookie? But do you know the chewy cookies,
I feel like those are two soft Okay, I.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Don't disagree with that. Yeah, it's like gum.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
Yeah, it's like too chwy, it's like sticky.

Speaker 7 (14:41):
But I don't.

Speaker 8 (14:42):
I don't like hard cookies at all.

Speaker 9 (14:45):
Okay, So whatever you think about a hard cookie, you're
telling me you don't like oreos that's.

Speaker 8 (14:51):
Well soaked the oreos in the milk. Oh I kind
of soft?

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Yes, see, that's my caveat here with the hard cookies.
I like hard cookie, but I like them because I
dip them in milk enough where they get a little
bit soft. Yeah, to the point where I like it,
which is a science, you know, like there's a certain
amount of time that you've got to leave it in
there to make it.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
The right the right texture, and then I enjoy a
hard cook I.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Do feel like Zach brings up an interesting point, though
we kind of need to establish what sort of cookie
you were talking about here, because in my mind it's.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Chocolate chip and I get that too, because some cookies.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
I really like his soft cookies as well. So this
is this is really in depth here.

Speaker 7 (15:27):
It depends on the type of cookie it is, I guess.

Speaker 8 (15:29):
I guess it does depend on the type of cookie.
But overall I would go with soft cookies just because, like,
if I had a choice for the rest of my life,
then I could only eat a soft cookie or a
hard cookie. I would definitely go with the softer.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Qu here, I'm with you point for soft. Thank you, Destiny.
We appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Have a great day, you too, Robin and Shelbyville. Are
you soft or hard cookie fan?

Speaker 5 (15:54):
Typically soft? However hard just have a place like in
like a mascotti. Are oreal want dunk them?

Speaker 8 (16:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:03):
You know, I don't understand Wiscoatti's I mean just go
eat a stick on the ground outside.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
Oh, Kevin nobly understand.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
Yeah, I don't at all.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
All right, Robin, thank you so much for calling in.
It looks like we got two points for the soft cookies.

Speaker 7 (16:24):
Kevin feels so validated right now.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Absolutely, I will say, you want to know what. I
like soft cookies.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
There is a local cookie shop here, Pink Door Cookies. Yeah,
gluten free cookies ever, and they're they're kind of like
soft and then also a little bit crispy on the edges.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
So it's like the mix of the.

Speaker 7 (16:43):
Jew the perfect combination.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Yes, that's oh that's my jam hungry.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Do you like cap'n Crunch cereal?

Speaker 9 (16:50):
I like Captain Crunch Cereal to sit in my milk
for a long time.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
See, because that that that's on par with a hard
cookie for me, just something that's just going to destroy
your mouth.

Speaker 7 (16:59):
I think everyone that has said hard cookie has said
they like to dunk it. Yes, Like I don't know
anybody that.

Speaker 9 (17:04):
Just eats a raw hard cookie and gets dust all
over their face, a raw hard cookie, Like, yeah, you
gotta dunk it in something six.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Seven three seven nine seven. If you'd like to join
this conversation about soft.

Speaker 6 (17:16):
And hard cookies one seven five The River, Ricky, Zach
and Menno in.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
The in the morning on the River having a serious
debate this morning about cookies soft versus hard Chase in Nashville.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Where do you stand?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
So?

Speaker 9 (17:31):
I think that if it's a freshly baked cookie, it's
got to be soft.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
But if it's a package cookie, it's got to be hard.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Interesting, This is not a bad take here, Chase, because
there's nothing like a freshly baked cookie right out the
oven where it's warm and gooey exactly exactly.

Speaker 8 (17:48):
But then you can get like a girl Scout cookie, like.

Speaker 6 (17:51):
A samoa or a thin mint.

Speaker 7 (17:53):
You put a thin min.

Speaker 5 (17:54):
In the freezer and that's hard and it's delicious.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Yeah, we're making it more hard on purpose.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
Yeah, but you wouldn't want it.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
You wouldn't go for like the soft baked chocolate chip
cookies in the grocery store.

Speaker 9 (18:04):
Non, den Some people actually know how to use their oven.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 7 (18:11):
I don't think he's ever turned it on.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Jase, Thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you.

Speaker 7 (18:16):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Have a great day, you too, buddy.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
We got Zilah and Amari and Murphysboro.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Tell us, are you guys divided or do you both
agree on this?

Speaker 1 (18:25):
The same kind of cookie you like? Is it soft
or hard?

Speaker 7 (18:29):
Soft all the way? Oh mom? Are you on the
same Yeah?

Speaker 1 (18:34):
And warm and warm?

Speaker 3 (18:36):
That seems to be the thing that everybody is saying
is like, if it's soft, it's gotta be warm, like
freshly baked.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
And the fact that everybody that likes hard cookies has
to dip them to make them soft first.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
I mean that tells you everything you need to know.
Like they're still getting.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Themselves a soft cookie, they just have to go through
an extra step to get there.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Okay, Kevin, No need to call anybody out like that.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Well, I to it more like a condiment. You know,
I love my condiment, So I love it? Is that maryall?

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Today?

Speaker 7 (19:11):
How's that not a valid point? Milk is now a content?

Speaker 4 (19:14):
Debate for another day? Is milk a content? And by
the way, this time yesterday.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Zach was proudly saying he does not know how to
use his washing machine, and now he's.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
Well, I can use the oven, just not the washing machine.

Speaker 8 (19:24):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Can I also just to piggyback what Zach said, when
I stayed at Kevin's, I had to literally call him
to ask him how to use the oven, because I
texted him it's this.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Crazy oven that he has, and I was like, how
do you turn this thing on?

Speaker 3 (19:37):
And he literally said, Uh, You're gonna have to facetimey
because I don't actually know, I have to look at
it YouTube.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
We just moved and I am so happy to be
so far away from that oven.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
It is impossible to you. We've got Katy Perry.

Speaker 6 (19:51):
Tickets night, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning Air playing.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
A Katy Perry pop quiz today for Kevin Mando's Game
of the Day on one seven five of the River.
She's gonna be here in Nashville at Bridge Soon Arena
August nineteenth. So next week we are so excited. You
gotta get two out of three right for this Katy
Perry pop quiz, or, as Kevin.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Calls it, Hey Katie Perry query because it kind of rhymes.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Let's say good morning to Jessica.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Hi Jessica, Good morning guys.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
What do you have to to Oh, you know what?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Really quick before we get to the game, did you
hear a previous conversation about softer hard cookies.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
I'm gonna go with daw.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
It seems to be the winner. Everybody's saying saw it.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Thank you, Jessica. You get the tickets. They're not even
playing the game now.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
I like to hear that.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
Katie's here on Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
You can see her if you get two out of
three of these questions, right, Jessica, You're Katie Perry. Pop
quiz starts right now. In twenty eleven, Katie Perry voiced
the character in What Animated Movie and then reprise that
role in twenty thirteen.

Speaker 8 (20:55):
I think it is smart, right smart?

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Yeah, she was surfad good job.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
I did not know that answered.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
I think Demi Levada was smurfed at one point. Now
Rihanna is the most recent smurfet.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Yes, that's who I thought of when I think of
you know, sir, job Jessica.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Nice to have you're on the board.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Rapper Juicy J appears on Which of Katy Perry's hit songs?

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Isn't that Dark Course?

Speaker 6 (21:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Like that Juicy J of three six Mafia? Yeah, dark Horse. Congratulations.

Speaker 8 (21:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
You're going to see Katy Perry next week August it
at Bridge Stone Arena.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Thank you so much for hanging out with us and
for playing the game. Jessica, you did that so quick. Awesome.
Hang on the line, love, we gotta get your info.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
Wow, I mean that was record time.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
I'm impressed, truly.

Speaker 9 (21:43):
I mean you said you wanted a big fan, clearly.
She knows a lot about Katy Perry.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
She did it.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Yeah, we're gonna play the same game tomorrow, Last Chance
of the week with US seven forty five tomorrow. Jonathan
still has more at five forty five this afternoon. If
you want to grab them, then three things. Well, all right,
thank you for being here star. This Thursday morning with US,
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Tennis star Venus Williams is going to be a Barbie.
Venus is being honored with a Barbie doll as part
of the Inspiring Women's Series.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
She picked the dress for her Barbie.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
That she would wear and decided on the one that
she wore during the two thousand and seven Wimbledon Wimbledon.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Title that you won.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
That year, men and women earned equal prize money for
the first.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Time at Wimbledon, so a very huge moment in sports history.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Venus recently earned a wildcard entry into this year's US Open,
which starts x Monday, so I'm sure we're gonna hear
a lot more about her soon.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
But this is really really cool.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
I love that Barbie is doing things like this and
expanding what Barbie really means for young girls.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
So very cool stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Metropolis is doing something really cool for musicians.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
I'm very happy to see this.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
It's called park and Play, so musicians can park four
free in twenty five lots operated by Metropolis when playing
venues across Nashville. Members of the National Musicians Union and
musicians playing at Musician Venue Alliance National venues are eligible
to take advantage of park and Play. It starts Friday,
like this Friday. Additional details, including the list of parking

(23:09):
lots participating, are all available at the Park and Play website.
But this is really really amazing. It's one of the
things that musicians have been speaking up about more and
more in the sense that you know they're working for tips.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
It's hard out here for them to actually make substantial money.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
And as anybody knows who goes to downtown Nashville or
lives in the area, these lots call.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
So much money.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
If you walk away with one hundred dollars in tips,
you're paying two hundred dollars in parking just to make
that one hundred.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Dollars in tips.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
So you're it's just gonna keep going up crazy, exactly.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
So this is really amazing.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
I'm happy to see that they're doing this for our
local musicians take advantage of it if you are part
of the National Musicians Union or if you're playing at
any of the venues that are part of this as well.
This is kind of a bummer Kodak Camera company. They
said that they may not survive much longer. They've been
around for one hundred and thirty three years, but there

(24:04):
is substantial doubt.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
They said that they're going to be able to stay
in business.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
They've had a really hard time since, you know, digital
cameras began replacing film cameras, and they filed for bankruptcy
back in twenty twelve. So the fact that they've lasted
that much longer past that point, it's kind.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Of a big deal.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
But I'm really hoping that they can figure out a
way to keep going. Obviously, there are plenty of professional
photographers that still use film cameras and still very much
look ta Kodak for you know, their certain type of film,
the pieces that they need for their cameras and things
like that, and it's just kind of sad to think that.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
They could be no more.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
So hopefully they can figure something out finger stauts they
can stick around. Seriously, figures crossed. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and
those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
Thank you very much, Ricky. A little later, this how
we're going to ask you. We'll explain this. But who
would you want to fight?

Speaker 6 (24:50):
We'll get there. One O seven five the River Reicky
Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Oho was on your biton list? It's one oh seven
five of the River.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
If that's a little confusing to you, don't worry. I'm
going to explain. This is a trend going around, uh
because of Tyler Chulders his song.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
He says, if I have Raby's, you're high on my
button list. Here's a clip of it.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Put it plane, just don't like you, not a thing
about the way you is.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
And if they ever come a time I got babies,
you're holm a button. It all makes sense now.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
He's like, I just don't like you, and if I
ever get rabies, I would bite you. Is essentially what
it is. So we want to know who's on your
biting list. Everybody's got somebody. Everybody's got maybe some type
of person, like, for instance, people who don't use turn signals.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
High on my biton. If you get rady, you're going
for that.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Oh yes I am, because that just drives me nuts
every time.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Six seven three seven, Who is on your biting list?

Speaker 6 (25:49):
We want to know one O seven five, raikys, Zach
and Menno in the morning, Well, Abby and Smyrna.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Who's on your bton list?

Speaker 7 (25:57):
It's one of my biggest pet peeves.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
But when you let people over that you shouldn't have.

Speaker 8 (26:02):
Let over because they were driving crazy, and they don't
throw up their hand like saying thanks.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
I'm so on that.

Speaker 7 (26:13):
Thank you, I.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
Appreciate you letting me over anything.

Speaker 7 (26:17):
Yeah, nobody does that anymore.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Well, if you want to bite them and give them rabies,
we endorse that.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Thank you guys so much for calling in.

Speaker 6 (26:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
I have a great day.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I'll go next and say people that reply all to emails,
I want to bite them and give them ready.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
Yes, Kevin, that is something that you constantly every time,
you like.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Why is this happening?

Speaker 1 (26:38):
These reasons we do? I agree though.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Yeah, all of Nashville that works for iHeart does not
need to hit There's literally no point.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Zach, who's on your byton list? Because I know you
got a full long list. Who's the number one?

Speaker 9 (26:49):
I will say at the very to be top people
that are on their phone at the check out line
at the grocery store. Okay, the checking get off the phone,
give the cashier some respect and talk to them and.

Speaker 7 (27:00):
Get out of the way. You're taking too much time. Yeah,
it drives me insane.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
I'm so with you.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
I got a few people on my biting list that
I probably can't say because I think they might legally
come for me.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
That's true, But my list goes My list goes long.

Speaker 8 (27:13):
That true.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Man, you have such a secret life.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
There's a lot of Boss Ricky lore out there.

Speaker 6 (27:23):
Recky Zach and men in the morning.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
The River, Good morning, Destiny. How are you?

Speaker 7 (27:29):
I'm good?

Speaker 8 (27:29):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (27:30):
I'm good? We're talking about biting lists.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
This is inspired by the Tyler Childers song Biting List.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
If you had rabies, who would you bite? Who would
be on your biting list?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
And with a name like Destinies, I think you'd be
a very positive person.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
So I'm I'm curious to see who you'd bite. I am.

Speaker 8 (27:45):
And actually my first thought was people who do not
use their turn signals.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Okay, yeah that yeah, yes, so.

Speaker 8 (27:52):
You already used that one. My second is going to
be people who are in the sass lane, yet they're
going under the.

Speaker 7 (27:59):
Speed Oh my goodness, that drives me.

Speaker 8 (28:02):
And say yeah, because then you have to try to
get back around them in the slow lane just to
get around them, and it's like, ah, why you know
that you're not doing the speed limit as is? Why
did you get in the bath lane?

Speaker 1 (28:14):
I'm biting them. Thank you for calling in love God
a great day too. Do you ever come a time
I got our babies?

Speaker 6 (28:22):
You're home?

Speaker 3 (28:22):
Bton is all right, Lisa, and goodlet's know who are
you biting?

Speaker 1 (28:26):
If you ever abies?

Speaker 5 (28:27):
Okay, So I'll work at a pretty large offense, and
I'm biting the folks that either a leave their dishes
in the sink for someone else to point up or
b to go to all the trouble of washing them
but then laying them on the counter and not putting
them back in the cabin.

Speaker 9 (28:45):
Yestus's biting name fu, Lisa, I'm scared of you.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
I feel like she actually would bite somebody.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Yeah, but the first, the first offense is a deeper
bite than the second.

Speaker 5 (28:57):
Right year, First, because my office is right outside of
our kitchen, so I have to walk past it. It's
like almost a game. Now, I'm like focus to figure
out who it is.

Speaker 9 (29:09):
Oh yeah, I'd be sitting there ration. I'd set at
the ren camera so that I know who is doing it.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
I literally said that yesterday we'll camera.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
You should because Lisa and her dog both they've both
got rabies. They're coming for you.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
He's my emotional support.

Speaker 8 (29:27):
Beach.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Oh, I love that. Also, you're hilarious. Thank you so
much for calling in.

Speaker 7 (29:32):
That's good day.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I loved her fighting and button she is ready.

Speaker 9 (29:38):
As soon as she answered the phone, I was like,
oh God, what is she gonna say?

Speaker 4 (29:42):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (29:45):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning's Club.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
It's seven five the River. Every day about this time,
we play some audio from a video. It's a daily
double tap. This one was picked by Zach.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (29:55):
It's a woman that's going viral right now for her
like formal apology to her husband for everything she's done wrong.

Speaker 7 (30:01):
And this one just really got me cackling.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Okay, Zach can relate here. It is.

Speaker 11 (30:06):
Oh, my name is Kat and I am fifty one
years old and I would just like to make a
formal apology to my husband while he's sitting in another
room watching a movie so incredibly loud, he can't hear
a word that I'm saying. I'm sorry that you didn't
get to see the end of the documentary, that you
were really looking forward to us both watching together on
the microscopic world of selves. When you dozed off, I
took to the last three minutes and eleven seconds, and

(30:26):
I told you when you woke up, you've been asleep
for fifty five minutes, that I watched the whole thing
without you, and I wasn't quite ready to watch it again.

Speaker 6 (30:32):
I lied.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
That is absolutely something that I would do.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Genius honestly, Oh that's evil genius status.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
I watch the whole thing evil genius status, a mastermind.
Watch out Taylor Sweat, because this lady's unders something she is.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
Watch out David Boyfriend, Buckle up.

Speaker 6 (30:53):
One, Recky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
