Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning friends, thank you for starting today with us
over here at the river just getting settled.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Rakissanchez also just ran up the stairs. See yes it did,
so amout of breath.

Speaker 5 (00:12):
But Sabrina Carpenter, she's going to appear on Chicken Shop
Date if you don't know what that is. The host
Amelia has made this into a huge phenomenon much like
Hot Ones read the Hot Wings, but instead they're doing
like a quote unquote date at a chicken shop. But
it's an interview series, so she's gonna be on there.
The same Dancer album released so tomorrow. Obviously there's gonna

(00:33):
be plenty to chat about because the album's gonna be out,
and also the music video for her song Taste is
also gonna be out. The little teaser showed Jenna Ortega
in it, so I'm very excited for that. Instagram is
testing getting rid of squares. They're gonna make everything vertical rectangles.
Apparently there's a this would be a massive change, obviously,

(00:54):
but apparently the majority of people are uploading vertical images
nowadays and vertical videos instead of square photos.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
So when people are trying to crop it. There's proving
to have a lot of.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Difficulty to make sure that everything fits, which I totally
get because a lot of times it drives me absolutely
insane because it's like great picture. Now half the people
in it can actually fit. So they're testing with there's
a small amount of people. It's a limited test. We'll
see if it actually ends up making any changes. It
just totally depends on the feedback that they get. If
this works out, they may roll it out to more people,
and then more people and more people.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Will make it a thing.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
We'll see, but obviously it would be a massive change
to your profile grid and a lot of people take
a lot of time to make sure that their grid
looks great.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
So keep that in mind.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
And Wendy's this celebrating back to school with free kids meals.
The meal comes free with the purchase of any premium
combo meal. You have a choice obviously, chicken, nuggets, cheeseburger, hamburger,
whatever you'd like. It's available through September second, and you
get the deal through the Wendy's app, so you do
have to order your food through the Wendy's app in
order to get it.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
It's limited to.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
One free kid's meal per customer, per visit, but a
great way to maybe get a little snack after school
or something like that.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.

to pick my sister up from my mom's sixtieth birthday
this weekend.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Oh exciting, Happy birthday to your mom.

Speaker 7 (02:53):
Oh, she's gonna be so floored. I know she's not
awake right now to hear this, but I have a
whole secret party playing for her and all of her
kids and grand kids flying in Courtney.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
This is incredible. Are you serious?

Speaker 7 (03:03):
Yeah, I'm serious.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
I'm so excited for you. That's gonna be so good.

Speaker 7 (03:08):
Oh that's the main reason I'm up necessarily, And I
heard that you guys are gonna be giving away tickets,
so I'm like driving to the airports as excited as part.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
Right.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, here's the thing though, I mean, you are the
first caller of the day.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Congratulations you are getting these tickets. Do you even want them?
This event that we have tickets for is happening Saturday.

Speaker 7 (03:24):
Yeah, her birthday is Friday, So that works for me
because we we're gonna be busy doing stuff for Saturday.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
We have free, free time.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Perfect.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
This is so good, Courtney. Then, congratulations, you're going to
Music City, Birus. Rats are being the first caller of
the day on one O seven five the River, So
thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Oh you're welcome. This is great. What time does your
sister land.

Speaker 7 (03:43):
Well, she was supposed to land at six fifty, but
I'm tracking her flight. She's like a whole twenty minutes early.
So oh okayed, like twenty minute Okay.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Well, we hope you have the best weekend ever, Courtney.
We're so excited for you. Your energy right now is contagious.
This is exactly why we love the first caller of
the day because then you.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Hype us up.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
Oh I haven't even had mccoffee yet. This is all natural,
No cappy knife.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
You're just like Zach. Zach is the same way.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
High on life, Courtney. Thank you for calling. Have the
best weekend, all right, hang on the line.

Speaker 7 (04:14):
Oh, I definitely am.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
On do you have a nickname?

Speaker 5 (04:23):
And how did you get it? It's Ricky, Zach and
Mano in the morning. On one O seven five the River,
Kevin told me the most adorable story about his daughter
that involved nicknames.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Well, now that the kids are back in school, I
mean homework is back as well. And I think it was,
you know, the first or second week, she was filling
out like an about me sheet, you know, all about
her life and stuff. And there was a little blank
for a nickname, and she doesn't have a nickname.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Name is Molly. So she was sitting there trying to
come up with a nickname.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I don't think that's how it works, but you know,
we were brainstorming nicknames, so I don't you can't really
give yourself a nickname. But it got me thinking about
you know where they come from, right?

Speaker 5 (04:55):
You have some nicknames around the office. Zach likes to
call you keV dogg.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
I guess that is mine.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
You have a nickname.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
I have some nicknames as well, but we want to
know how you got your nickname.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
I call us My dad calls me keV dog so
I like that one six seven, three, seven nine seven.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
What is your nickname and how did you get it?
That's the question. Here's how's You're on the.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
River, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Do you have a nickname and how did you get it?
We want to know.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
Kevin's daughter had this adorable little moment of wanting a
nickname as she was filling out her homework for school.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yeah, she doesn't really have one, and there was a
space for it. So she was trying to think of nicknames,
Billy and Schoveyville.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Tell us your nickname and how did you get it?

Speaker 8 (05:37):
My nickname is Aunt Bully.

Speaker 7 (05:40):
Bully?

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Who calls you that?

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Is it like nieces and nephews to call you that?

Speaker 8 (05:44):
Yes, because when they were younger, they couldn't say billy,
so they said it bully, And now that they're even grown.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
They say.

Speaker 8 (05:50):
And people look at me like I'm supposing me a
mean person.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
But I'm not.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I'm not the person.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
So Billy, you don't sound mean at all.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
It's like when you call a huge guy tiny.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Yes, you sound like a very nice person, Billy, and
I think that's adorable.

Speaker 8 (06:05):
Thank you, Thank you so much, y'all have a good day,
you too, Billy. Bye, Thank you.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Aunt Bully. I have an aunt Billy.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Oh do you really?

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Maybe I'll adopt Aunt Bully. Harper and Hendersonville, how are
you this morning?

Speaker 5 (06:18):
I'm good.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
What are you doing anyway to school?

Speaker 8 (06:20):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (06:21):
I want to know your nickname, Harper. What's your nickname Cobbler?

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Cobbler? Is that because you really like Cobbler?

Speaker 8 (06:28):
No, my last name's cobb so my friends call me
Cobbler or called salad Ah.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Those are so good.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Dudes, I like Cobbler.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Do you have a preference there between those two?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
No, so you like them?

Speaker 3 (06:41):
I like cop Salad. I would what's up cop Salad?

Speaker 4 (06:43):
But Harper? You like the nicknames? Yes?

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Okay, good. Just wanted to make sure. Sometimes we get
nicknames that we don't particularly like. So I'm happy you
like yours.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Thanks for callin, Harper. We appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Bye, have a great day at school. Cobbler, you too.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
We're not going to school, but thank you. What is
your nickname? Ricky?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (07:00):
I have so many? Obviously everybody wants they start to
get to know me. Don't call me Ricky, they call
me rick.

Speaker 9 (07:05):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
See, I've always like, not wanted to do that. I
thought that would make you mad.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Oh, it's so normal. At this point. You used to
bother me. I'm so over it.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
So that's how I know you're really comfortable with me
is if you start calling me Ray.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
So you wouldn't mind if I occasionally call you Ray.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
He doesn't bother me at all. And then the other
one is Kita.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
I get a lot of Raikita's my best friend at
home calls me that, Zach calls me that you guys
call me that in the office.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
It's yeah, rakeita banana, which turned into Rakita banunu.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
There are a lot like tequita bananas.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
Get it, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Good morning, Raven and Mount Juliet. Welcome to one oh
seven five the River. Tell us your nickname?

Speaker 6 (07:41):
So my nickname is Ray Ray.

Speaker 7 (07:44):
That's my nieces and nephews always call me Aunt Ray Ray,
So that just kind of stuck.

Speaker 8 (07:50):
So now all my friends and family call me right Ray.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Raven is such a unique name to begin with. How
was it growing up with Raven?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
It was very interesting.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
I got called everything but Raven.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
I feel that.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
I totally feel that that's.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
What I got stuck with.

Speaker 7 (08:08):
But it's cute and I like it.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
So yeah, it's great.

Speaker 7 (08:11):
Thank it.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
And I think Raven's great too. So it's a you
can't lose here.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Thank you him a great day, love, Thank you for
calling in.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
Thank you you too.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Let's get one more. Is this true? It says on
the screen here that your name is TJ Max.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
No, not Max Mac Mac.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Okay, so your name is TJ Mac. What's your nickname?

Speaker 7 (08:31):
Well?

Speaker 6 (08:32):
TJ Max is what a lot of people started to
go with as soon as I see the full name Yep.
In kindergarten, I got a tigger because I have red hair,
and I bounced around a lot. And then later on
in my love it was Mac Attack, then Mac Daddy.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
I like you laughing, but I love the idea that
it went from these cute, adorable nicknames to Mac Yep.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
And then one of my good friends who just came
out of the blue with this one was a acadocious.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
I like that one. That's my favorite.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Hey, I mean, TJ, Max has been around longer than
you have been alive.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Were you ever like mad at your parents?

Speaker 6 (09:16):
No, because when I was born it was Thomas Joseph
Mack and my dad is like, that's too long, TJ.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
That's too long.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And I love me a good deal on slacks.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
So TJ, thank you so much for calling in and
for listening this morning.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Thank you, Ricky, Zach and Mano. In the morning on
the River, we are.

Speaker 2 (09:39):

Speaker 4 (10:49):
Kevin. Would you like to explain the category today?

Speaker 3 (10:51):
It's titles.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
So some movies or TV shows or books or songs
whatever with the with the title the we're green in
the title.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
You think you're up for the challenge, Rachel, I think so,
all right.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
You're playing for tickets to see Green Day there at
Giotis at the end of the month. You need to
get three out of five of these to win. Okay, Hey,
let's go. The green game starts right now. What children's book,
Rachel tells the story of a picky eater named Sam.

Speaker 5 (11:17):

and you did, all right. Question two.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Tom Hanks stars as a prison guard in What nineteen
ninety nine.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Oh, she was ready for that one.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Yep, you got it.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
The green mile, Rachel, you're killing it right now. Okay,
you got two points on the board. You just got
to get one more, right, right, yep?

Speaker 4 (11:42):
All right.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
What was the title of Matthew McConaughey's best selling memoir
came out four years ago?

Speaker 6 (11:51):
Oh goodness, no goodness.

Speaker 8 (12:00):
About that one.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
That's okay, that's okay.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
It was called green Lights. Like he is very optimistic.
Matthew McConney like nothing but Green Lights.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Great book, Highly recommend it.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Okay, this is tough, but you have kids. Here's another one.
Your next question. Bill Green, Cricket Green, and Tillie Green
are all characters in What Disney animated series.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
I hear little voices in the background.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
They can help you city.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
What is it?

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Big city Green?

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Yay?

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Some help from the back seat team effort help that one.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Oh that's awesome. I'm so glad they're in the car
right now and they were able to help you because
you won.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
Congratulations Rachel and the whole family, because you guys did.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
A great job together. That's teamwork right there.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
But Rachel, you're gonna go see Green Day at Giodas
Park on August thirtieth.

Speaker 8 (12:59):
Excitement.

Speaker 2 (13:00):

a great day, guys. Thank you all so much for listening.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
We really appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
Oh, thank you. Hang on the line, love, thank you.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Best part of the job. You can just hear the
happiness in her voice. That's so great.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
We have more tickets tomorrow, same time, same game, the
Green Game for Green.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Days three days.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
You need to know.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Here we go just a bit past a. Thank you
so much for staring your day with the river. We
really do appreciate it. And Ricky has those three things.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
Chick fil A, they have new plans to start their
own streaming service.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah that's crazy, I know.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
So they've been working with a number of major production
companies to create original family friendly shows, specifically in the
unscripted space. This is going to include a family friendly
game show from them as well. The plan is for
its launch later this year. I don't know on like
what platform, or like if it's going to be their
own platform. I'm not sure. I'm still waiting on some
more details. But yeah, they're gonna have their own streaming service.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
What can't they do?

Speaker 5 (13:56):
And today's a big day at Starbucks, So just keep
that in mind. If you're going to get coffee at Starbucks,
it's going to be a long line today as the
first day of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, they're back. It's the
earliest that the chain has ever offered their fall menus.
So that means not only can you get pumpkin spice lattes,
but you can also get all the other fun flavors
that you love. The Pumpkin cold Brew ice, Pumpkin cream

(14:17):
chi te, latte.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
I can't even say that.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
It's so long, Apple, Crisp, Oat milk machiato. All of
those and their new editions are available starting today. This
is also, I think, part of this whole summer Wien
trend that's happening right now where everyone is already ready
to celebrate Halloween in summer.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
So they're just jumping on that trend and good for them.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
And we're getting another piano bar this fall in Nashville.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
A Texas based.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Piano bar chain called Pete's Dueling Piano Bar is coming
to Nashville. They're going to absorb the Big Bang, which
is another dueling piano bar. We have no word on
when it's officially going to open, but they are looking
to fill.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Jobs right now on their website.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
So if you're looking for something in that area, if
you're looking for something that has to do with you know,
serving or bartending, anything like.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
That, give it a shot.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Check out the Little Players.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
Maybe they need some piano players who knows. Check out
their website because they are filling those spots now. I'm
Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Need to know.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Ricky thank you so much. You gotta be so excited
about fall.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
They're talking about the PSLs and just looked it up
and it's been so nice and Chris lately gon be
back in the nineties in a few.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Days here though, I know, false fall. We're not there
quite yet.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning on one the.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
R animal lovers over here, Ricky Zach and Manno in
the morning, specifically dogs for us.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
I guess it's it's one O seven five the river.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
But these these four legged creatures can get themselves into
some precarious positions.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
Ricky.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
Yeah, there's some crazy funny reasons why pets have gone
to the vet.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
And there's a.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Whole award ceremony for this.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
So it's called the Handbone Award, and the pet with
the I guess, like craziest, funniest story ends up getting it.
So here are some of the people that have submitted themselves.
These are insurance claims from twenty twenty four so far.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Archie is a.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
Dog in New Jersey that got excited about the mailman.
He gets so excited that he broke through a plate
glass door.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
My goodness, yep, broke.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Through the door. He needed stitches on his paws. He's okay, though,
he's okay. Clover is a parrot in New Jersey that
got her claws all tangled up in excitement as well,
kind of like when you tie your shoes together and
you can't untie them.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
That happened with her mouth tails.

Speaker 5 (16:22):
Yeah, her claws got all tangled up and had to
go to the vet to untangled.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Though.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Oh my goodness, that's how intense they got. Kodiak is
a dog in Virginia that won't stop eating rocks. She
had to have four remove from her stomach a few
years back and then ate two more. Uh Lambeau is
a lab mix in North Carolina that ate two hundred
and fifty pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, but only the
loose ones. All of the corners and the edge pieces

(16:47):
were already assembled. Yeah, and she was sure to leave
those seat at.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
The start with the edges when you're doing a plus yes,
so two hundred. So she ate some, and she was
enjoying it so much she just kept going.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Two hundred and fifty pieces of jigsaw puzzle that landed
the dog in the vet.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
My dog. I've had a lot of.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Dogs in my life. I'm a very big dog person.
But at one point and my dad's we had three dogs.
My one dog is a was a jack rustle and
he was just wild.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
His name was Bowie. We named him that because he's
white and we live on a lake and he loved
to swim, so he looks like a Booie in the lake.
But he was just insane. The amount of energy that
he had was wild.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
And one day my dad was doing work on our
one roof that had a window that led to the roof. Okay,
so my dad's out there, has the window open, not
thinking anything of it. He's working on the roof and
Bowie starts sniffing around outside, comes out onto the rooftop.
My dad starts yelling at him to get back inside,
goes to try to grab him, and Booie jumped off of.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
The roof, off of our.

Speaker 5 (17:49):
Roof, landed on the ground. Lived to tell the tale.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Was he totally fine, didn't have to go to or anything,
totally fine.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
My stepmom took him to the vet. My step mom
at the time took him to the vet because she
was like, there's no something's out wrong with his dog.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
After jumping off the roof. Wow, but he was totally fine.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
Not a broken bone, nothing, completely fine. He ran off
and grabbed his stick that he loved. That's why he
jumped off the roof. He saw his big sticks that
he loved.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Sure, I mean, we've all been there before, and I,
like you said, lived to tell the tale.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Ah, doggy tails was.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
An unintentional pun, nice joff. If you have one to
add six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine one.

Speaker 5 (18:28):

a hand me down couch. He somehow got into the
backing and I came home and thought he had escaped,
and I'm in there like panic, crying, and all of.

Speaker 7 (19:01):
A sudden, I'm like not.

Speaker 8 (19:02):
The only one crying, And I was like, did move
this couch without like hurting him. I needed everyone to
come back in my apartment and flip it over and
cut him out.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
How do dogs end up doing this? Like, I don't
even know how that's possible.

Speaker 8 (19:16):
Yeah, it was. It has stormed really bad, and I
guess that was his safe space.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
At Oh oh that ma makes sense.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Yeah, that totally makes sense.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Dogs hate the storm, the loud thunder and everything like that.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
So he was looking for concer sometimes.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Yeah, they like to like be held tightly, so that's
what he was finding in.
