Three Things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Happy Friday. Oh yeah, we made it a Friday. Good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Thank you for starting yours with us. Ricky Sanchez has
the three Things.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake bon Jovi announced that they
adopted a baby girl. They adopted her in July. According
to their announcement on social media, their post read, in
part quote, we are beyond excited to embark on this
beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,
and then it said there were three. So congrats to
them both on their adoption. Very excited to see like

(00:31):
their whole family together. I'm mind blown by the idea
of Millie Bobby Brown being a mother right now, because
I feel like, obviously she's much older, but I always
still think of her as like this younger girl because
we watched her as a younger girl. So I'm really
excited for both of them. Shout out to Murphy's Borough
because you have been ranked one of the safest places
to drive in Tennessee. A full list of the cities
in the US the worst Drivers has been released. Two

(00:54):
Tennessee cities took the top two spots for terrible drivers.
Memphis was ready to the worst city to drive in
and followed by Knoxville at number two. And of all
the spots in the cities, Murphysburro came in as the
safest in Tennessee. So shout out to you, Murphysburo, because
it's not looking great in other areas. And Sony has
raised the price of their PlayStation five console. This is

(01:16):
a big bummer, but PlayStation five game consoles will cost
fifty dollars more in the US starting this week. In
a blog post, Sony explained, quote, similar to many global businesses,
we continue to navigate a challenging economic environment, as they
announced the decision to increase all versions of the PlayStation console.
Just something to keep in mind if you were looking
to buy one. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the

(01:37):
three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
One O seven the River Reicky Zach and Meno in
the Morning.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
We had yet another very successful Ricky Zach Amano in
the Morning happy hour last night at Tavern Midtown. It's
one of seven five the River. We all had so
much fun. We love doing things like this where we
can hang out with everybody and get to know who's
listening to us every day.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
I mean, it's almost like I feel guilty that this
is our job, that we just get to go have
some some some food and hang out and talk to people,
like that's that's the job.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Kind of crazy, right do you think about it? We
all had a great time. I think everybody enjoyed it, Zach,
how much fun did you have?

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I loved it?

Speaker 5 (02:10):
And also I loved tavern to begin with. Yeah, yeah,
and I just love tavern. I didn't eat at all
because I went to dinner afterward. Oh so I didn't
eat anything. This tewed up, screwed up. I know, the
Buffalo Cauliflyers always my go to. Though it's so good, Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Guys, everybody had fun. I'm so happy that everybody had fun.
But I got to bring this up. It's been bubbling
on the surface of like my chest, like I have
to say it. Did you guys notice the same? Very like, yes,
couple that was there. I not to call anybody out,
like live your life, do your thing, but like I

(02:47):
think there's there's a line. There's a lot of.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Show that you like each other, but they were literally
on top of each other.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yes, I was very uncomfortable at one point because I
was like trying to say bye, but it's like, how
do you interrupt a seem me hot makeup sash in
the corner to say goodbye.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I was trying to figure out if they were like
a brand new couple and they were like in that
you know, that lusty phase, or if they were doing
something possibly behind others back. Maybe like like your established
couple would behaving like that in a public setting.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
But to each there so happy that I'm not alone
in this though, because I it's also like one of
those things where you don't want to call people out
while you're there. Oh no, I didn't say anything to
either of you because I was like, oh my god,
I need.

Speaker 6 (03:35):
To We all clocked it, though. I went and.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Sat at the table that they were sitting at to
like say hi to everybody else that was sitting there,
and they did not even pay attention to me whatsoever.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
They were so into each other that.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Maybe they went to the maybe they didn't realize that
like they were at our happy hour.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I mean it is a happy hour.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
They seemed very happy for multiple hours, be.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Very happy in the morning's happy hour. Yeah, that was something.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
We're doing it again next month to come bring your
significant other or maybe bring somebody else that you can
cuttle up in a corner.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
Yeah, we don't want to know.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Okay, sorry sorry sorry sorry, Yeah, that Zach's right.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
This is not a cold Play concert. This is a
family event.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Oh megel, We would love to see you next month.
Tavern Midtown. They also in case you know you don't drink,
they have plenty of non alcoholic versions of different drinks
and the phenomenal food parking is validated. It's just a
great spot and we have a great time.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
We'll post all of the information about our next one
up at our instagram. Make sure you're following at one
oh seven five the River on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Nashville's always got things going on. Every weekend is jam
packed with events. It's hard to keep up with things.
Zach has a full list of things that you can
get into this weekend so you don't have to worry
about it.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
I got you, babe.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Finally, the weather is cooperating and not gonna like make
you melt your skin off.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
It's so hot.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
That is so good to hear.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
I know.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
So tonight if you want something to do tonight, the
Titans are doing a preseason game at Nissan Stadium. They're
playing the Minnesota Vikings. It is their only home preseason
game and this is the last preseason game of the
season before the actual season starts. So that's tonight at
Nissan Stadium, seventh.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Yeah, really, that was weird.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
That's exciting though. I love to hear that.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
Yeah, so Titans tonight.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
If you want to go to a Titans game before
the actual season starts, tickets are like actually like very
reasonably priced. I think they're like twenty eight bucks, so
super cheap if you want to go see and then
tomorrow is Music City Brewers Fest. It's at Walk of
Fame Park, so you can go. You can sample different drinks,
different cocktails. They have beer, Seltzers, wine spirits.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Everything is it sip samples, celebrate is do you know.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
If anybody cool it's going to be hosting anything?

Speaker 4 (05:47):
I heard somebody.

Speaker 6 (05:49):
I don't know if the main stage, you will.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
So if you have Music City Brewers Fest, thanks for
the shade. Kevin Ricky. I will be hosting the main
stage tomorrow at Walk of Fame Park, also at the
Nashville Farmers Market. Tomorrow is the Nashville Watermelon Festival. No
one else is excited, like men.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
And I are bowls just staring at that, like okay, so.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
It's completely free. You can go, but there's watermelon drinks.
There's a kid zone with free face painting, blue parking,
free parking as well, balloon twisting, crafts, yard games, cooking demonstrations,
all of these different things and everything themed watermelon.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Yeah, like a watermelon.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
I don't know why I'm so excited about the watermelon fests.
And then if you're looking for a job, Gaylord Opryland,
which I love that hotel. I actually worked there as
a wayfinder of like helping people find their way around
the hotel.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
A wayfinder sounds so intense.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
It was a really intense shob. It's a big hotel.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Did the app replace the wayfinders because I think that
their app is like it's called the Wavefinder, So I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I wonder if that phases those out, rip.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Rip Well, if you do want a job, Gaylord Operland
is still hiring. They're looking for a full and part
time positions. Tomorrow from ten to four pm they're gonna
be there at the employment office.

Speaker 6 (07:10):
And so it's so that you can.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Help them with their forty second annual. A country Christmas
is what they call it. So whenever they decorate for
Christmas with like two million lights around or whatever, it's
absolutely insane. And then lastly, we have to say farewell
to summer. The National Flea Market is doing a Farewell
to Summer sale. So it's happening at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

(07:32):
It's all week and long. They open at eight am
every single day. It's free admission with only ten dollars parking.
But you can go to the National Fairgrounds for the
National Flea Market and you can get different collectibles, home goods,
vintage things, everything. So it starts at eight am every
single day this weekend. Love the shop, I know, I
love shopping.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Do we go to the flea Market?

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Yeah, except for I don't want to say farewell to summer.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
We don't have to. No, we can say hello to
shopping instead.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
I like the way you.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Think, thank you, thank you for all that day. I'm
personally I'm very excited for the fall. I'm over summer.
I'm ready for the fall in the winter and Christmas, Mary,
Christmas and the water Meltain, Happy New Year.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Right just after seven o'clock on this Friday morning, So
glad it's Friday.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Ricky Santez has those three things.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
I'm out here keeping you updated on Taylor Swift News
because there's a lot going on. She made another announcement yesterday.
She put up another countdown another clock, which turned out
to be another vinyl version. The Baby It's Show Business
editions were made available for just forty eight hours, or
while supplies lasted, didn't even get to a full hour
because they were sold out in the first thirty minutes,

(08:37):
which is impressive every single time. Like I don't care
what you say, that is impressive every time it happens.
I'm sure there are going to be more variants that
are coming out. She has more pictures coming out, so
you know, if you miss this one, maybe you'll get
the next one, and I'll keep you updated on when
that happens. Make sure you're following at one of seven
five the River for any updates about things like that,

(08:58):
because when it we're in the we post about it immediately.
The All American Rejects are headlining the pre race stage
at the Porschetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix. The performance
at the Grand Prix is happening Sunday, August thirty first.
Their set kicks off at twelve noon before the Indy
Car Driver Intro. All race DAID ticket holders are welcome
to attend, so if you're going to the race, know

(09:20):
that you can go to this pretty cool pre performance
if you want to see them, buy some tickets to
the race. And the NFL has teamed up with Crocs
for new footwear, so they got a whole new line
of team inspired clogs and gibbets charms. Obviously, the collab
drops September eighteenth with fourteen teams. They're going to roll
out more of them later on in the season as

(09:42):
well as other you know, random limited edition bags and
other drops that they're going to have throughout the season,
So keep your eye out for that if your team
isn't up there just yet. I'm Rie Sanchez, and those
are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
I've been thinking lately that I want to become a
Crocs guy.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
I just bought Crocs like your first line next month. Yes,
I wear them every day.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Are they as comfy as they are?

Speaker 4 (10:03):
So comfy? And I love the gibbets they make me
so happy you really customize them and make them.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
You do become a cross guy. Thank you.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
That was the motivation I needed.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
It's Zach's facts.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Do you guys know the difference between like regular olive
oil and extra virgin olive oil?

Speaker 4 (10:24):
Actually, don't please tell me?

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Okay, So extra virgin olive oil they actually make it
using cold pressing the olives without using heat or chemicals.
So that's what makes it extra virgin olive oil. They
use no heat, no chemicals. They literally just cold press
to olives for the olive oil.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Does that mean that it's better?

Speaker 6 (10:43):
Yes, so it makes it better.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
And it's also a lighter color which has like a fruity, slighty,
slightly peppery flavor and color.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Okay, is it better for you or just better tasting?

Speaker 5 (10:54):
It's better for you because they're not using any heat
or chemicals.

Speaker 6 (10:57):
Okay, no, we know, And there's your fact of the day.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Thanks Sache.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Ricky, Zach and men.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
In the Morning the River.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Good morning friends, Happy Friday. We're talking about work nightmares
in here. I said it a second ago, but mine
forever working in radio has been dead.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
Air.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
I mean since I started in college radio, how many
every years ago? That wasn't We don't have to talk numbers,
it doesn't matter, just to.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Give you a ny The idea, though, dead air is
just when there's literally nothing on the air, there's nothing
playing at all. It is the worst case scenario that
can happen in radio.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
And the nightmare is, I don't know, it's different every time,
but like there is something preventing me from getting anything.
There's all these obstacles or whatever, and there's nothing you
can do about it, and you wake up all sweaty.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
So that's what it is for me. Ricky over here,
she has a fear.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Of saying what a bad word on the air. That
is my biggest fear.

Speaker 6 (11:49):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Specifically the f one say it?

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Say?

Speaker 4 (11:55):
I'm not gonna say it. I'm not going to say it.
You know, Zach knows that he can literally mess with
my mind this way, and then I will try to
say it. I'm not saying it's okay if you just
say it. I'm not going to say it. But it
is my fear and my worst nightmare. I've had dreams,
well nightmares of me saying it and then just getting
frantic trying to find the dump button and like nobody's

(12:16):
helping me. I'm the only one. Like you guys are
just staring at me like I'm crazy and I'm like
the dump button and like trying to like hit the
dump butt, but I can't reach it.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
If it makes you feel said it, what? Yeah, on accident,
I've said it on the radio.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
You should be admitting to this.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Well, my boss knows about it.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
So then that means if you've done that, your recurring
nightmare that you have about work must be very different
from ours.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
Mine is kind of similar to Kevin's, but it's more
so so like we have a board in front of
us that looks like a spaceship basically with a bazillion buttons.
In my nightmare every single time, is that none of
the buttons work.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
That is working.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
Here in real life?

Speaker 1 (12:54):
I know.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
I think that's why it's like a nightmare because it
literally happens all the time.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
I don't know oo the nightmare when it's real, like
it genuinely happens.

Speaker 6 (13:03):
In your will and get in exist.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
I think you are you're the problem the story of
my life.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Welcome to it, Ricky Zach and Meno in the morning,
Maroon five is coming to town.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
They're gonna play Bridge Stone Arena November two. That is
what we are playing for for Kevin Manho's Game of
the Day on one oh seven five the River. Good morning,
Gina and Murphy'sboro.

Speaker 6 (13:26):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (13:28):
I'm good? Are you ready to play the game?

Speaker 6 (13:30):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
I don't know if you are. They're pretty tough today.
I'm just telling you, Gina, to being upfront with.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
You, I didn't know yesterday, so I'm kind of nervous.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
You did not know yesterday when you were listening, you
didn't know them?

Speaker 3 (13:41):
No, I didn't, but I knew every other day, So
I have a little hope.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I appreciate the honesty. Honestly.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
I feel like most people are like, oh, yeah, I
knew that. But you're admitting that you did not know
the answers yesterday.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Uh, you get two out of three of these? Right?
The tickets are yours, Gina? Are you ready?

Speaker 6 (13:54):
I'm ready?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Right? Your game starts right now.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Maroon five has a song one called Cold Gina in Celsius,
what is the freezing point of water?

Speaker 6 (14:06):
Zero?

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Look at that zero degreed? Was that easy? Ricky did
you know that?

Speaker 4 (14:11):
I didn't know?

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Okay, see, okay, good, I'm not creepy.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
All right, here we go, Genie, you get this, smarty pants,
you win the ticket. Run five has a song called
Harder to Breathe. What emergency procedure combines chest compressions and
rescue breads.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
CPR?

Speaker 6 (14:28):
Okay, wow, all right.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Let me just throw the third question answer here? Does
another one this in case? Maroon five has a song
called Daylight. What is it called when the moon or
another astronomical object obscures the view of.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
The Sun from the earth?

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Oh it clip?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (14:45):
Okay, congratulations, yes, Gina, yeah, nice you one.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
You're gonna go see Maroon five. I bridged to an arena. Congratulations.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Oh, thank you, thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
You are so welcome. Hang on the line so we
can get your info.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
Okay, all right, thank you.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Do we just have smart listeners, or.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
I think we do, and that just shows that we're smart,
because they wouldn't listen to a bunch of dummies, right, I.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Mean, that's kind of the logic a dummy would use.
But sure.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Three things, Good morning, Thank you so much for starting
your Friday with us.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Ricky Sanchez is right here. With those three things.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
We're getting a lot of Devil Wears Prada two cameos,
and the latest ones are podcaster Paige Disorbo and musician
Joon Batiste. They're both gonna be in the show because
Page six spies they spotted a bunch of people all
on set ready to film for Devilwars Produc two. It
comes out May of next year, so we're sure to
see a whole lot more cameos pop up. I love

(15:46):
when they do very like perfect cameos that fit the person,
you know what I mean. Like so if they have
like a podcaster doing a podcast, yeah yeah, or like
Joon Batist since he's just phenomenally talented when it comes
to yes anything music wise, like if he has a
point where he's playing something or singing like, I love that.
I think it's so cool because it brings it all

(16:07):
together in a movie like I said, may have. Next
year is when we'll see.

Speaker 6 (16:10):
All of those.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is getting
in on the Opry one hundred celebration, and I love this.
So they're opening a new exhibition for the Opry's one
hundredth anniversary. It starts Thursday, September eighteenth. You can find
artifacts spanning from mini pearl straw hat to a pair
of Reba's boots. Tickets for the opening panel with Vince
Gill and Carly Pearce go on sale today. Go check

(16:32):
it out. I love the Country Music Hall of Fame
and Museum. I love all of our museums here and
we need to support them and go check them out.
They have the coolest stories. This is gonna be awesome
to see, obviously, with all the history of the opry
and one hundred years awesome stuff happening there. And Skittles
has new Fuego gummies. Gummies Fuego are chewy little bites.

(16:53):
They come in mango, watermelon, strawberry, raspberry, and lemon. They're
all coated in a chili lime seasoning. Think like sweetmeat,
spicy kind of vibes. Fans loved the original Fuego skittle,
so they decided to make them in gummies too. You
can find them nationwide. In January. I'm Rick Sanchez, and
those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
The river ranfew Zach and Meno.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
In the morning, they are about to get into the leftovers.
These are just stories or topics that didn't make the
show all week. We each have thirty seconds to tell
whatever story it is that we want to bring to
the leftovers. Am I starting again?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
You always start with you?

Speaker 4 (17:31):
You guys love to start with me? Okay, I'm going
to tell you about songs guaranteed to make you happy,
according to a music psychologist. Starting my clock now. So
there's a scientific formula. It's a combo of being a
major key featuring seventh chords, four beats to a bar
and a tempo of one hundred and thirty seven beats
per minute. That means nothing to most people, yeah, nor

(17:52):
music that means something. On the top ten list guaranteed
songs to make you happy are things like Dua Lipa's
Levitating Happy by Pharrell Williams, Still Into You by Paramore,
One More Time Daft Punk, and in a number one
is Sweet Disposition by the Temperature. Yeah, that is the
number one song to make you happy.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
You're out of time, But that's a good list.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Mega, All right, who's going back?

Speaker 6 (18:18):
Exactly?

Speaker 5 (18:19):
I will go next because mine is actually a survey
of what actually makes you happier than music or even sports.
So there's a new survey that says seventy five percent
of people said that noodles, specifically pasta, make them happier
than any type of music, any type of sports, anything
like that.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
So then I started thinking of like, what in life
actually brings you the most joy?

Speaker 4 (18:40):
I know noodles bring you the most joy?

Speaker 6 (18:42):
I love news.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
Is this an entire study on you? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (18:47):
So I was like, I wanted to ask the class,
like what brings you the most joy? Because clearly pasa.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
Is number one.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
It would be music for me.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Okay, I'm not sure what it would be for me,
but I think for my wife and kids it would
be pasta as well.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
Right times up, keV dog, youre ready?

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Well? Yours are brother about happiness? Mine, it's kind of
about unhappiness. It's about nightmare neighbors. Sure, I'm ready to continued?

Speaker 4 (19:07):
All right.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
I was telling my kids recently about the old man
that lived in the house next to me and I
was growing up. His name was Joe Hobzansky. He was
a nightmare. He was just a grumpies. Yeah, gone uh,
he was a nightmare. He would yell at us, He
would yell at my dad. He told my dad one time,
he's gonna crush his head like a great This guy
was one hundred. My dad was forty at the time.
But I found a list of things that make you
